Speaker 4 (00:52):
I'm Amma Oh reporting for kids first, and today I'm
reviewing You to Train Your Dragon.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Howda mission comes to life.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
In this remake To Train Your Dragon.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
How to Train Your Dragon is the musty family film
of this summer, as not only in chance, but soars
across the big screen for those of us who already
love the characters in this epic adventure, I'm pleased that
the live action version is faithful to be original.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Filled with visual imagery and character reenactment, this film refreshes
the world of dragons for pretty much everyone.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
This storyline follows a Viking named Hiccup played by Mason James,
who's always fell out of place with the other Vikings
at first, who wants to join the fight with the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Against the dragons.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
That is until he captures one of the deadliest dragons,
a night Fury.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Burke has been in a war of survival against the
dragons for centuries, and Hiccup defies tradition when, after injuring
a dragon, he chooses not to kill it, but rather
to heal the night Fury dragon that he names Toothless.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
The friendship forges a path to a new way of
life for the entire village in the end. I truly
love how this film keeps the original storyline and brings
the animated characters to life.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
I enjoyed this remake of the original film into a
live action once. They took already good animated characters and
turned them into even better live action once. They kept
all the important details in parts of the story and
only slightly changed things to accommodate the live action format.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
The cast is notably talented, and the story has many
delightful characters and humorous situations. My favorite character, Astrid, played
by Niko Parker, is fierce, ambitious and loyal and brings
a new dimension to this important role.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
How to Train Your Dragon reminds us to be true
to ourselves, to build friendships through discovery, and that first
impressions aren't always what they seem. Parents should be aware
that there are emotion sensory segments, flashes, and explosive noises.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
The film's message is that you shouldn't pretend to be
someone that you're not. Hiccup mixes of self discovery through
his bond with Toothless, and together they come to learn
that friendship can overcome many obstacles.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
I give How to Train Your Dragon five out of
five stars, recommend prages eight to twelve.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I rate How to Train Your Dragon five plus out
of five stars and recommend it for ages eight to
eighty plus adults too.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
In the end, I give How to Train Your Dragon
five out of five stars, and I recommend it for
ages eight to twelve plus parents. How to Train Your
Dragon releases in theaters at June thirteen, twenty twenty five.
