inside scoop on this exciting new film.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Hello there, this is Brandon with Kids First.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Hi, this is Zoe reporting for Kids First.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Hi, Everyone Upside and a lot reporting for kids First
and today Up, you're reviewing Elio. What an incredible soulm
Pixar has created some classics over the years, but I
truly feel they've gone above and beyond with Elio.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
A streamlined but not shallow plot, characters that evoke senses
of compassion and friendship in state of the art graphics
create a truly out of this world feature.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I've really enjoyed watching the movie Ellio. It has great
voice acting and themes and the movies outstand this.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Almost truly something special. It's visually stunning, emotionally rich, and
deeply imaginative and takes you on a journey not only
through space, but through the heart and mind of a
young boy searching for belonging. The story follows a young
boy named Ellio who's navigating the world after the unfortunate
loss of both of his parents. He lives with his
loving aunt, but still struggles with feelings of isolation and
not fitting in. He's completely fascinated by aliens and dreams

(01:23):
of being abducted by them as he feels there's no
place for him on Earth, but maybe in space somebody
could love or understand him.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
When he finally does, he's greeted by countless species and
starts making friends left and right. But it's not all
fun and games. Lord Grygon played by Brad Garrett intends
to crash the party, and he's not taking no for
an answer. If Elliott wants to stay, he and his
new bestdie, Gordon played by Remy Edgerley, let's find a
way to reason with the Warlord. Keeps the community safe
and along the way find Elio's place in.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
The universe, but he's unable to do so without incident,
and now Lord Gregon is threatening to destroy the entire galaxy.
It's all Elio's fault. The whole movie, Elo really feels
like a breath of fresh air in the movie industry.
Every character is executed extremely well, and they do so
without coming off as chorny. One of my favorite aspects

(02:12):
of this film is its storyline. The plot is surprisingly
deep and emotionally grounded, especially in the film aims for children.
Pixelar often deals with complex themes, but I feel as
if they take a very bold step with Elo, as
it touches on themes like grief, identity, and the universal desire.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
To be understood.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Elo especially is a very fun and relatable character, and
I really like how he shows the audience that it's
normal to fit in and to see where you belong
and want to explore different ways of living.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
The concept of an alien hangout leaves much room for creativity,
and the production team brought their best. The result is
nothing short of extraordinary. No matter where I looked in
this feature, everything was bursting with color.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Visually, the animation is out of this world. I love
how the animators use the color palette to simple life
Eleo's emotional journey. While Elo' is on Earth, the colors
are very muted and subdued. While he's in the Glacti verse.
It's the complete opposite felt with some vibrant colors reflecting
and symbolizing his excitement and comfort in this new world.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I really enjoyed the humor in this film. The banter
between Ellio and his on Olga is to dive for
it's so funny. A memorable incident is when on Olga
pulls out a parenting book from her drawer and asks
Elio which emotion he's feeling right now and to describe
how he's feeling because she doesn't want to ask him.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
This film's message is that you are never alone. There
was always someone to talk with you, walk with you,
or just be with you. Know that. There are a
few scenes of space violence, and one where Elio is
about to get beat up by a few kids from Earth.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
I give Elio five out of five stars, and I'd
recommend it for ages five to eighteen an adult as well.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Just to wrap things up, I give Elio a final
rating a four point five out of five stars.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I give Elo five out of five stars and recommend
it to ages eight to eighteen. Elio releases in theaters
June twentieth, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
