Kill - The Menendez Murders
This true crime series examines one of America's most controversial murder cases. In 1989, Lyle and Erik Menendez brutally killed their wealthy parents, José and Kitty Menendez, in their Beverly Hills mansion. Initially appearing as grieving sons, the brothers' lavish spending spree raised suspicions. A confession to a therapist led to their arrest. The subsequent trials captivated the nation as the defense claimed years of severe sexual and psychological abuse drove them to murder, while prosecutors argued it was simply greed for a fourteen-million-dollar inheritance. After two trials and shifting public opinion, both brothers received life sentences without parole, leaving questions about justice, trauma, and truth that remain debated today.
