Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning this morning. Is there anything worse than Monday mornings?
Monday morning? It's Monday, right, Good morning already. I don't
want to go to work?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Who does?
Speaker 1 (00:10):
That's definitely not me. I love my job.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
You do?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
You're weird, lady. Well, depth, no, get back to work.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Let's do this.
Speaker 5 (00:19):
Kids have that morning, Totis, Katie and Nick, good morning,
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Why is it going to be the best day of
Why not this gonna be a good day. It's I'm excited.
It's Monday.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
What you know, you're not supposed to be excited about.
But we got a whole week to screw everything up?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Is that we do. It's like a fresh start for
I keep forgetting. It's Easter this weekend. It's Easter week.
Speaker 6 (00:44):
I know.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Is it so funny where you're like, Easter is so late,
but then at the same time, it's like Easter already. Yeah,
it's true, very torn, very torn.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
It's Easter week. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, get off school again even though they just had it.
Then you guys get off school for draft.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah not enough. I'm getting real nervous about the draft again.
I'm getting less nervous. I mean, it's just shuttles and rights,
I'll get figured out.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
Yeah, I am a little surprised how it still does
not seem to have a solid concrete plan. And when
I say it, I mean the area down yes there
there does not and let's say missing something that I
don't work down there. So maybe I'm wrong, but I
was at when we went to the Blizzard game, stopped
at two places before and after the game, and talked
(01:37):
to the staff there.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
They still don't know how they're parking. I think they
all have a plan, and I think the NFL is
doing its own thing. That's what I think. Okay, I
think the city has been ready for months, and I
think the NFL is not letting them, so to speak.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
I guess my concern would be if the NFL's plan
doesn't allow the businesses have planned, what will they do?
Speaker 1 (02:03):
You know what I mean, Like we've hadn't know, don't know,
and how do they like, how do they say you
can't do that? Like okay, yeah, well you don't own
the scene? Yeah yeah, I don't know. We'll see.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Yeah, we're gonna find out in ten days, Katie that
we are we are, that we are? It is kiss
have that busy weekend over the weekend for Sports Masters yesterday.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
That was incredible.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Well it was, uh, I mean, basically he just one
hundred percent golf.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I I didn't like he. I mean, this is Flory
McElroy win. He did okay in the playoff okay, I
and it was really you were already at the game,
so you missed the ending.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Very dramatic too for golf. Oh, the whole thing was
it was incredible. I mean, it was a little bit
of a collapse on his party, fell behind, that he
came back, then he had the lead, double bogied and
then bogied, lost the lead, got it back on the seventeen,
up by one, no tied. All I needed was the
(03:07):
birdie missed the birdie putt on eighteen part it went
to an extra hole. I mean, it was just like
insane drama. Even the golf announcers almost raised their voices.
It was unbelievable. They really was almost.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
One of those moments where I'm even I tuned in
for a and I'm like, well, okay, well there's something too.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
This is the question I have.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Everybody makes a really big deal about the Masters, and
I love that for those people.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Why is this tournament though?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
And why is this the one, the exciting one in
golf because these aren't all golf tournament's pretty much the same.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Well, I mean it's the major of all the majors.
It's kind of like Wimbledon and tennis, I guess, the
one that everybody wants. But why Yeah, it just did
like there's always one major that stands out above the rest,
just the history of it, the the number of dramatic
finishes like it just it it's the first one. It
not necessarily carries a little cachet, not necessarily because the
(03:59):
courses harder or anything like that. No, I mean, it's
just it's just a for whatever reason, they always stand out.
Wimbledon always stands out in tennis, Masters always stands out
in golf. It is just it's just the one, the
granddaddy of them all.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
I found it very I don't know if the word
is ironic or I don't know what it was making
me feel, But the same people who get really into
golf for the Masters specifically that are like oh, because
like I was going on socials and it was like,
here's a drink that you could find at Augusta and
it was literally vodka lemonade.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Oh yeah, well their menu is legendary because it's just cheap.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Ye, yes, no, And I love that and I respect that.
But the people that go all out for the Masters
and theme it up for the weekend are the same
ones that I feel judge me for going all out
for like a Harry Potter viewing partner, and I'm like,
how are you What you were doing is no different,
(04:58):
not different at all, Like, but you would be the first.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
You're so stupid, and I don't know. There was a
little bit of a hm hmm to me. I understand. Yeah.
Masters attendees are a little yeah, it's it's it's okay
when you guys want to do it right right, Well,
it's only one day out of the year. Yes, in
on top of it too. You don't impress me that much.
I'm sorry, but you don't. Again, it was a lemonade,
(05:24):
that's somebody they take hich. Yes, and it's just two dollars. Yes,
And we're supposed to be exciting because it's cheap.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Like that's because it's pimento cheese. That's why it's cheap cheese.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
I'd like to I would too, I really do want to.
I would love to go I'm not a golf dude,
Like I'm not a gotta sit down and watch golf,
but I would like to go to the Masters for
just the mystique of it, just because it is it's
the one. It's also it doesn't travel. It's always at Augusta.
Oh it's unlike other Majors that are played on different courses.
(05:58):
This is it, it's this is where we play, and
this is the Masters at your green jacket and you
have a Vendales out green jacket, gold jacket.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Who I will say. So when we were on the cruise,
since it was Disney, ESPN is owned by Disney, and
that was one of the channels we could get, and
I really enjoyed their marketing for it. It was the
George on my Mind song.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Oh yeah that was good. Yes, I like that, truly
enjoyed that.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Like every time that commercial came on on ESPN, I
liked it. Like I stopped and I was like, oh.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah, there's there's just something I don't know why I'll
watch the Masters. For some reason, I did not, just
as I just don't. I just don't understand.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, I guess maybe that's what I'm having a hard
time grasping, and I'm not I'm genuinely not judging. I'm
just asking those who have judged me for doing theme
things that you just say, oh I do it too
low grace. Yes, And I just don't understand how you like.
It's all day, all day, and it's like how long
can you eat your permento cheese sandwich for five seconds?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
There? There days we hit up the whole cooler area.
I mean every time it comes, just because it's cool
to go to that event. It's a long day. Yeah, well,
my dad's a golf geek and it's a long day
for him. Congratulations to Bertie Sanders Rory on his win.
I like Rory. Yeah, seems like a nice guy.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
I don't know anything about him.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I just so he's adorable. I don't know a lot
about golf, but he's been around for a while. Like
he came in really young, right.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, nine years old on TV? Yeah, whacking those balls
into a washing machine? Yeah, I like them. No, that's
a except for snubbed Brice into shamboo. It was Jordan's legend.
Was he a part of this?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Was no thing?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Okay, don't like the NBA. I'll tune in for the
last two minutes.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Nine days from today, we'll be broadcasting live for the
NFL Draft at the bar Home grinned Way. We're going
to be there Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. Read and
Eddie will be Therednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon, and of
course live music, DJ's food trucks.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
In Kiss FM, live people from the Draft. TV.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Tonight You've got There's not a ton on tonight, You've
got Idle. It's part two of the Disney Resort auditions.
So we tuned in last week for our first time
watching Idol and I don't know probably the whole this
whole season, and I don't know. I'm not a singer,
and I understand that I don't know things. Yeah, I
(08:31):
didn't think anybody was really all that great. Now it
felt like kind of a force.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
I feel like we're just I don't want to say
we're running out of talent, but there's so many shows.
There's never been a greater opportunity, even on just your
own channel, to your talent. Yeah that I just feel
like it's getting all the good people already around. Yeah, Like, well,
it's like we don't need a show now. To bring
(08:58):
talent forward. It's just like people have found it. They
found on YouTube, it on YouTube, they've found it everywhere
other shows that it's just kind of like all right,
So it's like it's not that they're not talented, it's
that you're just going all right. It is part three
knockout rounds on the Voice. I don't know. Yeah, it's again.
(09:19):
It's just one of those things like that's idle with
spinn you should be yeah, well yeah, because it used
to be you had to know somebody to get into
that industry. You had to get that foot in the
door somehow, and if you didn't, there was always idle.
You seen a smartphone, And now it's like if you
know somebody, awesome and then there's always four hundred and
seventy two other ways to get your demo out there.
(09:41):
It doesn't have to be drive it down with the
cassette player and get it back from your ex girlfriend
and then break into a radio station and try to
get it played like on your heads.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Holy Marvels with Dennis Quaid on the History Channel tonight,
you've got all American NCIS NCIS origins, and they couldn't
do another n CIS so they went to found instead.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
We're just like out it's a TV in general, we're
just out of stuff, out of ideas.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
Well, well, let's do another NCIS or CSI much that
always crime shaboozy. I'd kiss f So Dennis across the street,
who's retired and he takes care of his lawn like
immaculately because you know, he's got a little time and
he loves that. He just got a he got a
yard guy this year. Oh so now, really I am
the only one in my little section, unless our new
(10:30):
neighbors don't have one, which I don't know yet. I'm
the only one in our new little section of homes,
our little forced home area that doesn't have a lawn
guy like that actually comes and does the lawn. I've
got dandy hyeh. We did great work for me. But
I don't have that maintenance that week. And it's just
because I didn't want to. I don't want to pay anybody.
But now I see, I see Dennis has one.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
I either want a lawn guy or I want Dennis's
rider because he has a rider. I don't think he
needs it anymore. I would like his ride.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
Would a rider help you in the in the front yard,
the bayard. I don't think it would front yard would
be correct. We actually have a fifty two in zero
turn lawnmower right now.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
We'll never read power. The zero turns key. It's super
good because especially for a like I know you feel
like for bigger lawns, but it's almost better for smaller
lawns because not huge, but otherwise having a rider, even
on our lawn, like we used to have a rider
because we have a side loot and even that I
can walk it in about ten minutes longer than it
took me to use the rider because the amount of
(11:34):
turning and twisting and the amount that you go over
the same area that you already did on a rider
is is it's measurable. So I just started walking.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
We'll get this zero turn lawnmower with every power up
right now Woodward Big deals at ninety five to nine
kiss FM dot com so you can put your bid
in and get it for a fraction of the costs.
Bidding ends the twenty fourth at five pm.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Okay, yeah, we don't have people in our neighborhood that
do that the yard.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah, yeah, we've got Yeah, we don't either I.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
Think we've got some folks that are either retired or
on the way to retiring and did well enough and said,
you know what, I'm done doing it. Yeah, I'm done.
I want everything done in ten minutes. By See, we
have the opposeet we have. I love my neighbor Sharon.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
She is retired and she has a beautiful on and
she takes a very good like that it's her thing, Like,
that's her thing.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
She was just out there yesterday, I believe.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
How was the you guys went to the big All
Star game in yesterday?
Speaker 1 (12:38):
That was awesome. Nice job, Kagana, nice job just everything. Yeah,
put that thing together, the organization of it, the flow
of it. It was fantastic.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
It was the first one ever.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Yeah, for those of you who don't know, they put
together basically an All Star of Northeast Wisconsin.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yep, Fox River Classic and the Fox River Classic kicked
our butts.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
What did you have? Fun? It was crazy.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
We were Nick and I were doing a little razzic
and some people are all just didn't appreciate it, but
I wanted to do this is genuinely all in good
fun literally just yeah. Yeah, And what was great about
pro to.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Get into it. I know, like I wanted to, because
they're really there's no stake in the game in the
sense that the outcome is insignificant. It literally was a
talent show, yes, and the talent is incredible, This area
is incredible, and so the group just screaming for everything.
I was jumping up and down and I love it.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Robert Kennedy, for those that know Bye, was sitting with
us and his son Brendan. Love Brendan. The thing about Brendan, though,
is I love talking smack with Brendan, and Brendan was
there loud and proud for the f r C C.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Yeah, So I'm like, no, I'm Valley, I'm Valley girl.
So I would say things like when they miss miss
a shot, I'd be like, suck on that. Brendan like,
and I'm like, oh. And there were some people around
me that I don't think they appreciate it, but we're
a little overly competitive.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
But it was it was. It wasn't about that. I
just really enjoyed talking back with Brendan. Yes, it was incredible,
though there were some threes that were being made from
as as Brodie likes to call it, the volleyball line
and just deep threes and Brendan was grady. He's just
like he made that one from Baby Beach, just screaming.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
So then when they missed it, I'd be like, where's
baby Beach now, Brendan.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Like they were in the water on that one. Brendan, No,
it was. It was awesome, what a great night. Contest
was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Okay, I have some questions about the Dunk contest. Okay,
Nick was a judge for anyone that didn't know. Nick
was a judge for the Dunk Contest and first of all.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Wants everybody to win. Well, did you see my video?
I was dying because the judges were former for four
and it wasn't about and it was more of that
we got five nine Nicks. Yeah, oh no, trust me.
I was well aware of it. And as you're you're
sitting there and they're introducing the judges and like and
(15:09):
the and the other one no former Division one super
and the other one in radio ball. He played Division
three tennis.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Did they talk to you at all ahead of time
about how they wanted you ays judging it.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Or did you I was straight no, And we kind
of we all sort of just talked and I said
to the guys when we were sitting there, I was like,
I don't I don't know how to do this. I
high school. High school dunking is just cool anyway. Yeah,
and then if these guys pull off some of the
dunks we saw during the season, how do you not
give them a ten? Like these dunks are insane. Some
of these kids can really dunk. So I'm like, I
(15:44):
feel like one of them is going to put one
down early and I'm going to give a ten, and
that's going to set the tone for the rest of
the contest. I'm like, we're gonna get like boot out
of the gym if we don't like you.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
I booed you because I was invested, because I'm not
gonna lie. I wanted Cateren from connooin which he did.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
He did, he had some great dunks, but he and
he and Joey were going head to head.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Okay, this is the part that I didn't understand. When
they missed a dunk, they got to keep going. They
made the dunk, and you guys did not penalize them
for the miss dunk, and that bothered daily really because really, yes,
so I don't regree that. How do you not penalize
when it was given a ten?
Speaker 1 (16:23):
They give him no because it's about landing the dunk.
I know, but it took him like six tries to
land the dunk.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
So I feel like there should have been some little
bit of aation.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
There's sometimes there were which chunk? Was it that he
missed a couple and then hit that.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Was the final against I believe, yeah, it was. The
reverse was insane. I grab reverse.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I was insane, But yeah, I am not judging this.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Ye.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
By the way, no way could I ever dunk he
He is talented. It was amazing. I am just trying
to give Nick crap right now. For anybody listening, this
is about it.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
This is not the player they boot us. There was
a collective boo when we delivered. I can't remember who
it was now. We just gave sevens and it was
one where he had missed four or five other dunks
and then he went up and just kind of did
a little like a quick one.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Well I think it was that point where he was like,
I just want to get it in.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Yeah, like and so we gave some sevens and we
got and it was like, oh all right. But It
was just awesome. And then the the shooting show. The
amount of talent is sick and I know, I just
keep saying that over and over, the amount of talent,
The amount of talent, it's incredible in this area. These
two conferences especially, it.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Was so cool afterwards, well like watching Brody walk around
trying to get oddographs. Yeah, and it was just a
really cool community event.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
You got a few guys out there and possibly more.
You just don't know until they someone a still grown
into their bodies a little bit and they're gonna go
to college and they're gonna they're gonna lift, they're going
to condition differently. You you could have three four nbas. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:00):

the most landlocked countries?
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Would it be.
Speaker 8 (19:33):
Europe?

you did a great job though of just like take
a couple of stabs if you don't know, pass and
(19:58):
maybe your brain will catch up. The end of it
will come back around. You did great and that was awesome.
Speaker 5 (20:03):
Yeah, definitely sign up again. I noticed you signed up
right after it was time for you to play again.
I think you should do that every month until we
get your win.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
Well, last time it was nine out of ten, and
I had a list of the high school mascots because
those past.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
That is awesome. I remember that. Hopefully it's next time. Listen.
Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend. Thank you guys.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
So there's a ton of us that are still working
on our taxes. Tax Days tomorrow. We don't get the
extra day. The last couple of years we've had something
where they end up doing tax Day at.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
The falling on a weird, weird situation.
Speaker 5 (20:37):
And that's not the case this year. Tomorrow is tax Day.
You need to get those done or file an extension.
It is kiss That morning's otis Katie and Nic only
three percent of Americans think they pay less than their
fair share and taxes. Thirty percent said more than.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
What is that? Who's out there going? I want to
pay more? I mean the same same time, I do
appreciate the services that we have is yeah, but I
don't want to pay more for those. No, I don't
want to pay more. I want the money I'm spending
to be used more effectively. Yeah, I would like that.
At the same time, I don't. I have no idea
how my municipality is using my money, and that's probably
(21:17):
on me. But it's like, well almost thanks for having
five people still working on taxes. One out of ten
haven't even started them yet. Oh really, Although, are those
the people that are just I don't want to say
chronic procrastinators, but are they the ones that do things
(21:37):
last minute? You're just yeah, Like I always I marvel
at at how people accomplish tasks because I think you're
one of two people. You either handle the easy stuff
right away or you handle the tough stuff right away
and leave the easy stuff. And I am always a
get the easy stuff out of the way, just get
the ones that are really quick and done and do
it quickly and then you can kind of start to
(21:59):
clear the room a little bit, like, don't go across
the hoarding room and start pulling things out. Start with
what's in front of you and just get the little
stuff out. But then I think there are some people
who like to get the big thing out of the
way and tackle it. And I wonder for some people,
if their taxes aren't that complicated, if they're just kind
of like, eh, whatever, I'll get it done the fourteenth fifteenth.
(22:19):
It only takes me about an hour.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah, nothing like the thrill of doing your taxes with
the urgency of like diffusing a bob.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
You know. I just like a certain disposition of people.
I think for some people, they probably aren't stressed by
it because it's not hard for them. They might just
have one straight w two, you know, like they might
just look at it like that's not a big deal. Yeah,
Or maybe their tax strategy is don't recognize me, please don't.
(22:50):
It's ninety five nine kids have that tax day tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
I might get my wish. I might get my wish.
We might start texting full words again. Maybe, what what
do you mean not texting full words?
Speaker 1 (23:01):
People?
Speaker 5 (23:01):
I've started texting abbreviations over the last year, like thanks
as THCHX and sorrys sry instead of sorry.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Do you know what drives me nuts?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I'm okay with thanks TX text, but when you start
emailing that, that's when I have a real problem.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
So they just did a study I'm reading here in
the Kiss studios this morning, and it says people are
starting to get on your wavelength where not just with emails,
but just in general, THCHX is starting to come across well,
people are seeing it as rude. If you text THHX,
they're starting to go, it's a little too short. That's
a little too short for what I sent you. I
(23:35):
sent you this thing, and then your response felt a
little disingenuine. And people are studying right and sorry same thing.
An apology shouldn't be sroy. It should be like, you know,
I'm sorry, I apologize I didn't And when you get
an sroy, people are starting to go, I don't.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Know if you're really sorry? Do you what else drives
me nuts? On Facebook?
Speaker 2 (23:58):
When it's a birthday wish m hm and it's HBD,
like was it that hard?
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Guys? Was it that hard to just write a happy birthday?
And if it was that hard.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Please don't waste your time if it was genuinely, If
you genuinely, I would.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Rather you not. But we're going backwards to like caveman,
we're going we're going from full sentences and communication to
basically like digital drums, like syllables that we just throw
at each other like breadcrumbs, you know what I mean,
Like here.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
To me if you are if you are wishing me
a happy birthday and you're saying hbd in my head,
it's because you were so busy.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
This is the only thing.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
You did on Facebook today, no time, you had no
time to do anything else.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
Also shared a recipe exactly, and your dog that's lost,
and you went on crush.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
And I have never understood that we've gone from Shakespeare
to Wyd in literally a couple of hundred years, Like
we went from these beautiful poems and the much that's
like No, I agree, that's like the misconnections that are
so long.
Speaker 10 (25:13):
Get to the point A fortnite has gone since our
last correspondence, and I felt as though reaching out was
not only something that was dear.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
To my heart, but on my soul.
Speaker 5 (25:26):
That's a little extreme, very but for the last time.
But kay at this point instead of okay, it starts
to seem like a passive aggressive threat.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
The same time, you're just slightly racist at the same time,
like reading long text is also annoying. Agree, it's almost
like you just like nobody can win in the sense
that I hate getting the one where you're scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling.
But then I feel like, because we're a nation or
a society that is now anti phone calls, sometimes you
(25:59):
need to text something really long, and then that's really annoying.
So then the short code developed so that people will
be like, well, you just just quick quick hitters. But
now people don't like the quick hitters. So it's like,
I don't know, I don't know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
If it's too long, I'm not reading it. Not until
Larry drives responsibly. No, No, absolutely, Kiss FM gonna be
with the Fox Cities Chamber. It's the future Fox Cities
Career Expo. Katie Nickerty'd be out there eleven to one
coming up this week on what is that Wednesday?
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, that's twelve. Yeah, let me switch that. That great,
I don't know how to switch that. I know that's
all right, they've been so it's been said wrong all week. Mean,
I need to leave at noon, But did we let
anybody know?
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Yes, the conversation was was just that I'm like I
could do like ten to noon, and then the individual
said no problem. I said, all right, perfect, yep.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
The whole event is actually coming up this week the
fifteenth and the sixteenth, so that's Tuesday and Wednesday from
eight to three. What are you going to tell the
youngsters when they come up and they ask them about
career opportunities?
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Is that what this is? Yes, our our function is
less about it's more just being there for them. Oh okay, like,
if you guys have some questions, we will be happy
to ask them for you. The formal presentation are the
TV people here? We're here for the TV people. Yeah
nobody said that. Yeah, okay, good nobody. Yeah last year
(27:34):
they didn't. They weren't like, we can't wait to get
into radio, all right, but you know there's always a chance. Yeah.
Back in the day, guys, this was like being a YouTuber. Yeah. Yeah,
they're always great. The kids are awesome, Yeah, and they
are so fun to talk to you, but it's usually
just random questions and ever you get a music question,
or you get a playlist question, or you get to
(27:55):
hay did you guys like yeah, So it's fun. There's
it's so many kids, so many districts that come in.
It's really neat. It's a really cool thing that they do.
I wish we had had things like that, like a
correct boat like this of this nature. When I was
growing up, we always had career Day and you know,
four or five people would come into school and you'd
sit there and you listen to them talk. And but
(28:15):
I don't want to be a welder. Sort of wanted
just the cupcake at the end of the show, Princess. Yeah,
I just wanted to get a picture with Lips bell yep.
And so Lips did Amon that dude. Lips was in
like every school, and so it wasn't this sort of
formal setup though, where you could actually network and you
could find yourself in a position where as you graduated,
(28:37):
you would know somebody and you got a card and
you got context. It's really really neat. We've got birthdays
anniversaries coming up nine, two oh two, eight, one zero
ninety five nine The Prime v Hydration of Weldness Studio
Live Call or text any time to get those in
nine two oh two, eight one zero, ninety five nine
gg Perez the Sailor songs on Kiss a fact weekly
announcements with Darlene or on the way about six thirty
(29:01):
one this morning on ninety five to nine, kiss f them.
It is Monday, April fourteenth.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
This was the day President Lincoln was shot and of
course mortally wounded by John Wilkes Booth while attending Our
American Cousin, which was a comedy at Forge Theater in Washington.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
He died the following morning, eighteen sixty five, eighteen sixty two.
It was in eighteen sixty five. Yeah, that's all right,
well this little war geek and just got back it
just just got back from that theater. So yeah, oh
(29:38):
that was part of your trip. Oh yeah, yeah, we
went to It's it's chilling, it's weird. And you walk
in and you sit there and you look across at
the at the balcony and you're like, dang, yeah, you
see the door he walk through, and you go across
the street into the house and see the bed where
he died, and you're like, this is absolutely wild. Yeah,
it's wild.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
This was the day that J. C. Penny opened his
first store in Kremer, Or, Wyoming. The sea, by the way,
stands and this is true. The sea stands for Cash,
the Jays stands for James.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yep, James cash Penny. That was Yeah. I don't know
why he thought that was a good name. I'm not sure.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
Yes, I don't think you want money in the name
of your store that you're selling, you know.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, that's an interesting move by him, all right, James,
why not just call it expensive clothes James cash Penny?
This was I don't go nineteen nineteen.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
Sure, Wait, his name was James Cash. I guess I
didn't realize that was his name, James Cash.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
That changes everything then, because it says J. C.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
Penny opened his first store, and the sea stands for
cash and the Jay stands for James. So perhaps his
name was James Cash. Also weird, but.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
This is the big name now. Yeah, I guess that's true.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
Okay, what year I'm sorry, I said nineteen nineteen, Yeah,
and I'm totally fine with that. Jac Petty opens its
first store on this day in Wyoming.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
Let's go nineteen twenty one, nineteen twenty two, right there,
land and.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
Today was the day Don Calhoun of Bloomington, Illinois got
a free ticket to a Chicago Bulls Miami Heat game
from a friend. Right, so, a member of the Bulls
promo staff approached him in the second quarter. I said, hey,
you want to take a full court shot and win
some money? And he was like yeah, and he sank
the shot and he.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Won a million dollars. Gosh, he won a million dollars.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
The reason they picked him, the promo staff picked him,
is because he was wearing shiny gold boots.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
Shoes matter. They do. Shoes matter, you women, guys who
love shoes, You're right, they matter? Yeah, they do. Yeah.
I mean that it's kind of prices right. They always
say that you need to do something to stand out
in line when you're waiting for the prices right to
get selected. Speaking of making silly shirts.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Bulls game, when are they going to release the Bucks
playoff schedule? And when can I buy tomorrow tickets? I
know I can buy tickets now, but first of all,
on my Bucks app, I can't seem to buy them
and make that make sense. And second of all, I
can buy tickets, but there's no actual day or time,
so I'm not going in blind.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Yeah, not doing it. I believe tomorrow is your day. Sorry,
can thank you? Oh yeah, no problem, And I might
be wrong on that. I'm just I'm trying to help
because you seem very stressed. I am, yeah, I am okay.
Continue nineteen ninety six and we go two thousand and four,
(32:53):
nineteen ninety eight.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
It was nineteen ninety three the unsinkable Titanic hit an
iceberg on its maiden voyage and began sinking on this day.
Seven hundred and sixteen passengers survived. Unfortunately, we lost over
fifteen hundred nineteen twelve or nineteen.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Twenty one, and just started releasing boats with three people
on them. What were they?
Speaker 5 (33:18):
I mean, I mean I didn't have enough anyway, It
didn't have enough anyways, But it could have been.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
It definitely could have been. More, could have been.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Although if you're Leonardo, maybe you're glad it worked out
this way. Made him a very rich man, I mean, yeah,
gotta be an odd feeling. Made a lot of money
and a lot of fame off of this tragedy.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Oh, I thought you were talking about Leonardo da Vinci.
I was like, Leonardo da Vinci, have to do it? Yeah,
I love how you tied that in Yeah I need too.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Yeah, you know, I was told by my son that
the Titanic is not even like a quarter of the
size of what ships are.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Now it's not, it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
It's very small when you look at it in comparison
to well even just a cruise ship, like.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
One of the ones you were on.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
But if you compare it then to like a battleship,
like a navy ship, you're like, oh, yeah, that's ridiculous,
that's a.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Dorable nineteen twelve or nineteen twenty one, nineteen twelve, nineteen twelve,
nineteen twelve, nineteen twelve.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
This was the day Catherine Hepburn and Barbara Streisand tied
for the Best Actress Oscar.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
They got the same number.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
So Hepburn got it for the Lion in Winter striysand
got it for Funny Girl.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
And they tied, and so they just wasn't even that's
funny they share the trophy. No, and I get lose
to that woman nineteen and Ray seventy three. I Have
No Idea nineteen sixty five, nineteen sixty eight, nineteen sixty nine.
Oh we're in there, Oh you're landing? Is just sniffing
(34:44):
around him today time sniffing.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
Yeah, he's a sniffer. We've always said that, and that
was his nickname in college. Actually, Landed is sniffer. Yeah,
that was kind of weird, but it's very strange. Yeah.
The Grapes of a set during the Great Depression was
what's published on this day. This is about the migration
(35:09):
Oklahoma dust Bowl.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
Yeah. Did you guys have to read that? I really
enjoyed it. I like the Grapes.
Speaker 5 (35:15):
Do they still make you read that? I feel like
these people don't know, being like I did not have
to read it.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Did you read the Catcher in the Rye? No, Death
of a Salesman? No, oh my gosh, you didn't read
about Willie Lomon of Mice and Men?
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Yes, okay, so some hours in the Attic? No, wait,
you didn't read that flowers for I was also.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Joy in the Striped Pajamas. No, I red Shoe. But
that was a movie, not.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
A flex though it was. I was in the advanced classes,
so I don't know if we well.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
No, I don't know if we skipped over. I don't
know what read. Yes, I was well, No that was
again again? Can you give me the one thing I
was good. I think it's fantasticating.
Speaker 5 (35:59):
And I love that your husband is so supportive and
recognizes that's your one good thing, you know, even though
you've had this illustrious career, he recognizes the only thing
you do that you read.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Yes, we did a Mice and Men. I can tell
you your family nothing like that. No, of Mice of Men.
We did Tuck Everlasting.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
That was a big one. Sure, the Native Sun. That
was really good. What was the one?
Speaker 2 (36:26):
It was the best of times, it was the worst
of times. We were a Tale of Two Cities.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Okay, you do Red Badge of Courage and all that.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, that was that was in the element. But in
high school we didn't really you had.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
To do Huck Finn Right Adventures, Huckleberry Finn. I think
we did. I think it was Everlasting.
Speaker 5 (36:50):
I'm surprised you didn't do Catcher in the Right just
because the amount of like foreshadowy, all the there's so
many behind the scenes of that book that if you
don't know, you wouldn't know. And I'm just thinking an.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Advanced classics a good book.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
If it's a good book, if somebody, if you don't
know what's going on and somebody tells you what's going on.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
It's a great book. If you don't know what's going on,
it's an okay book, isn't it. Do you kill?
Speaker 2 (37:16):
Yes, we did do to kill Mockingbird, Sign of the Beaver.
That was one too, Remember that one.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
I don't what is it. I'm not going to google that.
Speaker 10 (37:26):
Well.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
No, I was going to say I would read Ketcher
on the Rye. But isn't that the biggest book for
serial killers? Know that when you buy Catcher in the Rye,
you get put on like a list.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
That's what's keeping you.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
I swear to God, I swear, I swear there's a catch.
There's a thing with Catcher in the.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
Put me on the list, serial kill man. I'm not
saying I'm an a list. I'm saying, Jade Sailinger. Is
the Ketching the Rise linked to several.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
High profile murders or attempted murders.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
That's unfortunate. What about the very best of Calvin and
Hobbes Is that linked to anything?
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Well, I don't know. Today, Yeah, today is Holy Monday. Yeah, yeah,
Easter week begins.
Speaker 5 (38:11):
It is National Donate a Book Day today today.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Oh, Kadio Books in the bathrooms.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
National Dolphin Day, it's your day.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Although I'm terrified of them. You just said something to him, though,
I bet you just.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
And we cannot talk to them. We cannot talk to them.
It's national. There's a dolphin out there going. We're getting
the call. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
It is National gardening Day today, National Pecan.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
Day or pecans. Yeah, they're so tasty. Pecan's a good nuts.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
It is National Expouse Day today.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
We are ten You're not in all other nations, so
like the Canadians don't sell it, do that their own day.
It's not international, it's national. Why did I guess America
does everything? But why did we feel like we needed that?
Like you know what nobody else is celebrating in the world,
Expouse Day. Yeah, and somebody's like, yeah America, he yeah,
(39:10):
we celebrate pancakes. Yeah. No, you're like seventeen different days.
I'm gonna look that up.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
If you are planning on participating and you never know
until the day of, I'm going to give you warning.
We are ten days away from take our Daughters and
Sons to Work Day, ten days away from take our
daughters and sons to Work Day.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
This expouse thing is kind of interesting a day, so
it came about and it's the day to encourage those
who have been through a divorce to forgive, move on
and get rid of your anger and bitterness, encouraging to
focus on the positive aspects of life. Bitterness is my strength.
Gets at mw hby news Landing More Good Morning.
Speaker 11 (39:52):
A Fondal Life man is in custody following an incident's
involving a gun. A woman called nine Round seven fifty
Friday night, stating that her forty three World Sun fired
shots inside their South National Avenue apartment and was threatened
to commit suicide. Police ordered everyone in the complex to
shelter in place. After about two hours of unsuccessful negotiations
with the suspect, officers forced their way into the apartment
and took him into custody. No injuries were reported. The
(40:14):
incident remains under investigation. Green Bay Police are looking for
the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident.
The incident took place between six and seven o'clock Thursday
evening and the three hundred block of Oak Street. The
victim was on their own property when the loose dog approached.
The dog is described as medium sized, white and gray
colored with a red collar and takes. Anyone with information
is asked to contact the Green Bay Police Department and
(40:36):
Dodge County judges are instituting a dress code for their courtrooms.
The judges are placing a ban on shirts that contain
phrases or images supporting those involved in court cases. Placards
with similar statements will be banned as well. The judges
point out that the courtroom is not the place for
protests or expression of public opinion, and when violating the
dress code will be removed by sheriff's deputies.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
Darlene with your announcements coming up in about six minutes
and Kiss at seven fourteen Melinda Monday happens here on
Kiss FM. We do this Mondays at six point thirty.
Speaker 5 (41:11):
It's weekly announcement time with Darlene on Kiss.
Speaker 7 (41:15):
Hello, Hello, and welcome back to school. To put a
smile on your face and sing out with me. We're
gonna have a good argus waite and see.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
Good running students, and welcome to Sabinian Whether Awareness Week. Hey,
what is this a weird matrix reboot that was last week?
Old woman, you're losing it not the case, Why is it?
Speaker 2 (41:40):
What?
Speaker 1 (41:41):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (41:42):
Darly though, you're probably asking why are we doing this again? Well,
the region's on multipole. First of all, funnel clouds do
not make appointments. They arrived like unexpected greetings from your
wife at the airport after your long business trip. Who
is herself greeted by a vision of you face deep
in the neck of your new client constant surprise. Of course,
you can use whatever anecdote you'd like there to convey
(42:02):
something that arrives without warning, but anyway, so tornadoes can
do that. Secondly, while we recognize that perfection is unattainable
in life, the pursuit is noble and worth our time.
Last week's drill was an embarrassment, and had it been real,
I'm fairly confident we would have had very few survivors.
(42:24):
Mister Dennis, for example, running in circle screaming anyha mcglenry
tuto it's a twister was a far cry from satisfactory.
We lead by example, mister Dennis. So we're going to
try again today at one forty five and we will
also have a second dress rehearsal. What a random day
in time of our choosing later this week. So let's
be better. Let's be better extends to this announcement as well.
(42:45):
How good that we can feel?
Speaker 6 (42:47):
It was?
Speaker 1 (42:47):
It was beautiful, wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (42:48):
The mercury is rising, and so are the hemlines. Here
in our halls, it appears I see London, icy France.
I wish more of you were wearing underpants, yaousa. It's
like a Meren Morris concert around here, ring her up?
Is this a thing now where we just don't wear
on these Reminder, though we do not have a formal
(43:10):
dress code of uniformity, we do have a dress code
of conduct here at the institute. There are reasonable wardrobe
expectations designed to keep us all focused on learning, not yearning.
So ladies, if it's too high, place it aside. And
if you're wondering if that skirt is too short or
that shirt is too tight, it is not complaining, just saying,
while complaining a little, let's be honest. But speaking of complaining,
(43:32):
we've received a number of grievances from the residents across
the street from all of our school entrances, primarily the
East and South, pertaining to cigarette butts being discarded on
their properties. I'm confused on several levels here, boys and girls,
if you are a smoker, First of all, why, Secondly,
I thought we're all vaping now, No, we're done shoving
(43:52):
thumb drives into our grills and going back to the
good old fashioned heat of burning approach to the early grave. Okay,
well you do you. Thirdly, and most importantly, the use
of tobacco products are prohibited in the state of Wisconsin
until the age of twenty one. Unless my yearbook peeping
eyes deceived me. We only have two super seniors here
in twenty twenty five, and neither has had to repeat
multiple grades such that they would be of legal lung
(44:15):
slaughtering age. So there's that. But because it's happening again,
I don't know why or how its grounds for a
fourth lea. So fourthly, if your biopic sense of invincibility
has turned criminal, you must dispose of your materials in
a responsible manner. We placed receptacles for smoking materials on
the plaza areas at each entrance. Let's use them, okay,
and we will turn a blind eye. It's not only
(44:38):
for what we do that we are held responsible, but
also for what we do not do, So keep that
in mind. Let's stay with the delinquency theme for a second.
America is wonderful, isn't it. We have so many freedoms,
and starting at the age of sixteen, provided you have
properly licensed, you're free to traverse the many roadways of
this community behind the wheel. However, with freedoms come responsibility,
and with responsibility comes consequence. When abiding by the laws
(45:01):
of our roadways, the consequences are harmonious, but when traveling
at speeds that exceed our limits or in a manner
outside of reasonable expectation, the consequences are potentially costly to
both the pocketbooks and our safety. The rate of speed
at which some of you are zipping through our neighborhood
has become problematic. The post and speed limits of twenty
five are not merely suggestions, nor are the reductions during
(45:22):
school hours. This is not some back road race through
the dusty trails of Hazard County, ladies and gentlemen, so
let's watch it. Because we are watching you. You will
notice an increased police presence on campus, effective immediately, so
consider this your warning. Because you will not be granted
the same courtesy with the blue and red lights light
you up in our school zone. Big fines, big shaking,
(45:42):
a big We are coming up on it, baby, prom
that's right. Saturday, April twenty six is the date. And yes,
it was established after we were made aware that we
were hosting the NFL Draft. Why, because after about twenty eighteen,
no one's really sought out the advice of good old Darlene.
That's why. Reminder that ticket sales continue in advance. There
will be an additional five dollars at the door the
(46:04):
night of the event. We have our penultimate planning meeting
this Thursday, as we move into the extended Easter break,
at which we will attempt to answer two loving questions.
Number one, Dalli, where will we be able to get
a reservation for dinner with three hundred thousand people in
town for the NFL draft? And how are we getting
to the dance with several of our key thoroughfares shut
(46:26):
down because of yes, the draft? How did you know?
It's like it's snuck up on us. These are fantastic
questions that you know what, I'll just answer for you
right now and then you can skip the meeting altogether.
I have no idea and good luck. But nobody asked
for my input, as I established earlier. And apparently no
one looks at a calendar that I release every single
(46:46):
summer with color coded dates and potential scheduling conflicts. So whatever,
But that's in the past. Let's not live in the past.
Let's keep our eyes firmly fixed out the front of
our windshields of life, because the only time you should
have a look is to see how far you have come.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
So, what is up with Britney Spears? And I know
that's a question that we've asked for years. But so
they she just landed on a vacation in Mexico. Did
you see this?
Speaker 1 (47:13):
Yes? She her bodyguard, Nick, did you see this? No?
Speaker 5 (47:17):
Okay, So her bodyguard gets off the plane with her
carrying a fake baby, a doll baby, but it's wrapped
up in a blanket and he's holding it as though
it's a real baby. Yeah, And of course the assumption
is it's her baby, her doll baby. And maybe that's
a big assumption for us to make. Maybe it's the
(47:40):
bodyguard's baby.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
And she's just okay with you know, I don't know
did anybody, did anybody dig into it at all? Is
there a chance she's just playing us? That's over and
over and over. No, no, no. When you read these
captions and everything, it's it's just so I don't disagree.
Speaker 5 (48:01):
From course, if I had her life, though, I would
bring an emotional support Cabbage Patch kid with me wherever
I went to you know what I mean, Like, well, it's.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
So strange to me her whole situation because when she
was going through the conservatorship and was in court discussing
it and defending ourselves, she was professional, well thought, well presented,
and it just that set me down a little bit
of a thought process of are we just getting played
all the time? But then it's you know, I don't
(48:30):
think so.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
I think I was going to say, I think there's
a lot of things that we just don't know. I
think she was heavily medicated for a long time, and
I think these are side effects of because if you
know anybody who's on some of these medications, it.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
Is very very.
Speaker 2 (48:47):
What's the word I am looking for? Their personality altering?
Speaker 5 (48:50):
Yeah, okay, it does change you as a humans while
you're on it, and then while you're off it also
changes you. So if you're used to you on it, yes,
and then you're around you off of it, it's way different.
Speaker 1 (49:01):
And especially if you were miss diagnosed. Yes.
Speaker 5 (49:07):
So anyways, a lot of speculation. What's going on? Why
why the at least the dolls not managing her estate? Yes,
I mean there's that at this point. Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
Is it's just a picture and people are going all
weird about.
Speaker 5 (49:23):
Her for a while. Yeah, multiple times she has a
doll collection. Yes, this is something, but to bring it
with you like a real baby is the thing.
Speaker 1 (49:31):
Then I think people are like, hey, this is kind
of weird.
Speaker 5 (49:35):
Nine two two eight one zero ninety five nine prim

Here at Kiss FM. Last call to get those birthdays
and anniversaries and we'll do them next. Chapel wrote from
Kiss FM, Well, science has figured out how to help
you hear better in a loud situation. What it did
really good? Pretend like you couldn't. Yeah, it's kids morning,
zonis Katy.
Speaker 5 (49:59):
They said, if you're a a loud bar and you
can't hear, you should tap like to a beat, either
with your finger on a table or your foot, because
what happens when you tap your finger or tap your
foot is that you give it a beat, and your
brain is wired to pay attention, focus and focus because
(50:22):
of the beat, and you end up picking up more
of the words than you would if you didn't do that.
So the next time you're in a loud bar and
you have trouble hearing somebody, start tapping your foot in
a consistent beat and see if that helps.
Speaker 1 (50:33):
Okay, it's a focus thing, this hearing.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
Well.
Speaker 5 (50:37):
I learned at rock concerts what you should do, and
this works really great at a concert, so I would
assume it works well at a bar. Is plug one
of your ears. Just put your finger over one of
your ears and actually plug it, and then talk in
a normal voice. You will be able to hear yourself
and the other person if they do the same, we'll
be able to hear you. And when they talk, they
(50:57):
will be able to hear themselves and your you, and
none of you have to scream because you're plugging you here.
Speaker 1 (51:03):
I mean, that's nice. Yeah, So it looks a little silly,
but glad to get a dixie cup and put a
string on it and then I run it to the
other person that I want to hear a lot. Well
that that also works. Yeah, it Worksbrations Monday, April fourteen,
twenty and twenty five. If you're having a birthday today,

balcony her scene.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Yeah, she was also something that is very underrated that
I feel like flies under the radar. Her marriage to
Freddy Prince Junior. They've been married for like twenty seven years.

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
There's a lot of stuff that happened at Coachella. Brian
May from Queen joined Benson Boone on stage and they
did Bohemian Rhapsody. Now, when he announced Brian May before
(01:02:06):
the song, there was not much reaction from.

Speaker 5 (01:03:20):
The type of people that are going to go sitting
all that funk for four days, so weird to me,
did you see? Travis Kelsey would like to have a
word with Kanye West over his recent tirade of tweets
against Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Can we not just can we not have bro fights?
Can we not swing our testosterone around here? Guys? Like,
just let it go.
Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
He's been vomiting all over Twitter again, and this time
he made an allegation about Taylor Swift and something she
was involved with with with Justin Bieber and Harry Styles
at the same time that may not be of the
nature that you want out there, and he put it
all out there on Twitter, and Travis is outraged and
(01:04:04):
would like to have why.
Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
He said he would like to have it out with God. Again,
why it is to relax. She's got a publicist group.
They'll handle everything. Nobody's on Kanye's side right now. You
won just leave it alone. There must be consequences. He
West would never dare say this to her face. Yes,
he would. Here's here's the thing too, that's very concerning Travis.
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
This is not like schoolyard fights where it's like, let's
meet in the back and let's have it, have it out.
Oh no, oh no, there's some real dark stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Yeah you know you don't run. Yes, just leave it alone. Yes,
like this is not fifth grader. I love what he's
trying to do. Yes, I get it, but we get it,
we get it. Yeah, we're all on your side. I
don't think anybody needs anybody to stand up for her
in this one.
Speaker 5 (01:04:59):
This is the one high America's on your side right,
whether they like you or not, I think they all
would agree.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
You're good on this one, like you'rersally. You won, it's
all good. You got the gold medal, you beat the
guy by one hundred and eighty yards in a two
hundred meters or two hundred yard dash. You're good. You
blew him up, it's all good. Come on with a fight.
Speaker 5 (01:05:21):
On Mondays at about seven fifteen, we do talk to

Who did you really want to ring it?
Speaker 6 (01:05:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (01:05:51):
Really?
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
What was this?
Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
What did't I just ring the bell for?
Speaker 6 (01:05:54):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
This is like a really good thing. You clean the bathroom?
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
I got Did you clean it?
Speaker 2 (01:06:01):

but there was a conversation on the air, I believe
last week where one of the callers or one of
you or you guys or somebody talking about the splatters
all you it's not us, And it just kind of
reminded me, by the way, that is probably our responsibility.
So I scrub down of everything, just wiped it all

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
Look, he did it on his own accord.
Speaker 6 (01:06:37):
I didn't have to ask.
Speaker 5 (01:06:38):
He didn't ask for anything or allude to anything afterwards either.
I actually just legitimately did it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Yeah, like that becomes Well, come on, he's become a man,
he's become an adult.
Speaker 9 (01:06:51):
Let's not get ridiculous. He was in fat pants at
two thirty yesterday as a man. That's adulting, not an adult.
He's so brush his teeth next Wednesday. Hey, oh, so

Where are you working? Are you at home? Are you
in an office? I'm here at KISSFM.
Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
So what five years ago, a lot of people sent home?
I would say, like the majority of Americans that could
work from home were sent home to work, and then
many companies just kept them there. But now as they
just did a big study and kind of looked at
where people are, it looks like fifty seven percent of
Americans are back at the office full time. Okay, okay,
(01:09:45):
I feel like that's not in my circle, that is
not the case. I think there's a lot more people
working from home that I know.
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Oh see, and I'm the opposite. I know very few
working from home at this point.
Speaker 5 (01:09:58):
Really, yeah, what do you mean it's people that went
back to the office. What do you miss from working
from home? Like, what is it that you miss? Nine
two two eight one zero ninety five nine? What was
that benefit of working from home? I mean, I gotta
tell you what I'm we we had.
Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
One week where we had to work from home and
I miss I missed my own bathroom. Yeah, you had
your own bath I just missed sort of the same
things that I miss when you go to a sporting
event in person. Yeah, you miss your own bathroom, your
own snacks, kind of like your own kitchen. I just
missed that comfort. That was That was It was not fun.
(01:10:37):
That was a very stressful week, but it was it
was nice to have those things like I made coffee
in my coffee pot and I went to the bathroom
on my own toilet. That was nice.
Speaker 5 (01:10:46):
Your commutees twelve feet, Yeah, I didn't hate that. My
boss is a dog named Coda. You know, yeah, kind
of a nice It was kind of a nice thing.
What do you miss about working from home?
Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
I miss happiness?
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
Oh no, commute pj pants, throwing laundry in during break times,
Jenny from AMRO says, pajamas.
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
Yeah. I bet there were people that were crazy productive
during their break. And you can make the argument that
that's not healthy either in the sense that you know,
a break is a break, but if you feel good
about that you got laundry done, or you've got a
thirty minute You've got a thirty minute lunch break, but
you had been snacking kind of on your own snacks anyway,
(01:11:31):
so you only use ten of it, and you got
twenty minutes to do laundry, scrub a toilet, clean up
a room. I bet, I bet people were just crazy efficient.
Speaker 5 (01:11:39):
I'm a teacher during COVID when we worked from home,
I could pee anytime I wanted.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
It was nice. I understand that. I imagine, like, okay,
but teachers, be honest, you that was awful. There's discond
of that. I think was very difficult, Like that was
oh ooh ooh. I'm not terrific on all ends.
Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
I feel I'm not saying I love working from home,
but I forgot how to button pants.
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:12:11):
My daughter, my six year old daughter was by Barista
in the morning and by ten thirty she was my bartender.
Why he had her going early? And I don't mean
ten thirty, I mean six year old. Nothing had to
deal with people you do not having to deal with
people you don't like. Yeah, the flexibility to work from anywhere.
(01:12:36):
I visited parents in another state, was able to work.
Oh yeah, I mean I think I think there was.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
Just kind of look at the whole even the way
so much has evolved in terms of takeout, just eating alone,
Uber Eats and takeout and how that how your life
has changed so dramatically with pickup windows now and pick
up Kiosks. Order it, head, walk in, it'll be sitting
there with your name on it, Grab it go. Yeah,
(01:13:03):
that's all.
Speaker 5 (01:13:04):
I just life is completely different, all a result of
what happened. Because the McDonald's app existed before all of
us started, you know, working from home or being sent
home or whatever, but it didn't thrive.
Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
And same with Uber Eats. It existed, but it didn't thrive.
Dor Nash existed, but it didn't thrive.
Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
These things all kind of out of that necessity was
born a lot of innovation, or at least advancement of
existing innovations, and it's it's awesome in many ways. Texter
says they missed the quiet their own bathroom and not
being cold. That is nice, being able to control your
own thermostatic, their own temperature. Yeah, although do you get
(01:13:42):
control over the temperature in your home?
Speaker 10 (01:13:44):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
So, then well it's not that I don't have. I mean,
if I really want it to, right, but you choose
on what you're gonna fight. Yes, I do whatever I want.
It's just I don't know what it's worth the fight.
I get it. I turned over controlled that all I.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Do think, though there is a difference between working from
home now and working from home twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
I agree because I.
Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
I do respect the people that pushed to get people
back into the office because it was such a mental
It was such a mental health thing.
Speaker 5 (01:14:15):
Absolutely, it was so having that daily interaction face to face.
You could say, yeah, but we had zooms and we
had meats and we're chatting and we're talking not the same.
And there's something to be said about getting up in
the morning and being quote unquote forced to get ready
for the day that probably starts your day.
Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
Yeah, and just just there's a lot of there was
so much fear in twenty twenty, and that you had
nobody to fear vomit too.
Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
Like I just fe true. That's a great point.
Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
Yes, you sat in your own filth essentially, and just
and doom scrolled and just you had no distraction.
Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
You had zero distractions anywhere.
Speaker 5 (01:14:58):
Here's a texture kind of the opposite what they miss
about working in the office. I miss the free random
lunch as my company had. Other than that, I'm good
to continue working from home, but a breakroom full of
free food is a nice thing.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Because I do think there is a little bit about
that time we romanticize. Oh definitely, that was consistent stress. Yes,
and a lot of it had nothing to do with
our own ruminations, our own thoughts. It had to do
with the fact that every one of your actions potentially
set into motion irretrievable chains of events, whether you agreed
(01:15:32):
or disagreed or whatever your opinions were. There were certain
things like I remember when we were home and we
talked about it on the air. When I got my
negative test the second negative test that showed that I
had been exposed but was not positive. I literally burst
into tears because had I been positive at that moment,
what that would have dark Well, it wasn't even that
(01:15:55):
it was my wife was a teacher. It would have
set into motion her being home, shutting down a classroom,
which affected twenty two other people in twenty two families.
And that classroom gets shut down with a sibling. Then
that is in another room which shuts down twenty two families.
There was a and again, it had nothing to do
with whether you agree or disagree as a side. It
had to do with the way it was was incredibly
(01:16:17):
stressful that your actions, and it was a great lesson too.
Your actions don't exist in a vacuum, and so everything
you did there was a constant state of tension. And
it was Yeah, it was very romanticized because it was like, oh,
I had a drink at ten in the morning on
the patio.
Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
But everything you did potentially set into motion things that
were incredibly devastating to multiple people.
Speaker 5 (01:16:38):
Beth, looking at the flip side again, the only thing
I miss is the interaction with people I do not
live with.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
So Beth misses some of the things in the office.
Now I just go out with friends more. There you go.
Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
Opposite for me. I'm an ICU nurse and I wish
I could have stayed home. Yeah, you talk about stress
of that right. Ninety five nine Kiss FM, We've got
spilled the tea coming up. If you've got secrets, we
want them two eight one zero ninety five nine.
Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
We will not reveal you.
Speaker 5 (01:17:12):
We won't reveal anything about you, but this is a
chance to get the secrets off your chest. Holding a
secret in is tough. You want to tell somebody, tell
us and then we will share it, but we won't
share anything about you. Just text in the Prime IV
Hydration and Wellness Studio line nine two oh two eight
one zero ninety five nine will do.
Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
Spill the tea in ten minutes. On Kiss F Silicon
Valley crosswalk buttons have been hacked. So what does that mean?
When you press the crosswalk button?
Speaker 5 (01:17:42):
Instead of saying walk now, which they are set up
to do, they'll say, well, they kind of let you
know in case you're visually impaired, they now will I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
If they fixed them. They probably fixed them overnight, but
they had messages from Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. So
here's one with Zuckerberg.
Speaker 5 (01:17:58):
Obviously it's an artificial intelligence voice, but as you know those,
you know, every couple of months it gets better and
better and better starts to sound more and more like
the people.
Speaker 8 (01:18:07):
Wait, Hi, this is Mark Zuckerberg, but real ones call
me to Zuck. You know, it's normal to feel uncomfortable
or even violated as we forcefully insert AI into every
every facet of your conscious experience. And I just want
to assure you you don't need to worry because there's
absolutely nothing you can do to stop it anyway, see U.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
I don't know. This to me is I like it
when they do the Highway science. I know you're not
supposed to do. I know it's illegal.
Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
Yeah, I know this is wrong, but there's something about
it to me. It's kind of like like it does
it hurt somebody? Yes, somebody has to go. We have
to pay people to go fix those. But it's kind
of like some of the senior pranks. I don't know,
they're just funny, like this one's this is good.
Speaker 8 (01:18:51):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
It's just yeah, it just makes me feel violated, and
it has nothing to do with me. Yeah, but if
they can so easily hack in these it just makes
me feel like maybe it's good you don't have a
ring video doorbell, so yeah, Like it makes me feel
like when your pumpkins get stolen off your front porch,
is it that big of a deal. No, And now
(01:19:15):
you don't have to get rid of yourself, but you
feel a little bit violated. Somebody was on your front porch,
Like somebody was in this system. Somebody hacked into this thing.
It just makes me feel generally uneasy about like life
that is.
Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:19:32):
Wow, that gives me a little bit of the goosey,
like a little bit of the shivers. Yeah, you look
a little weird when it's not like like nobody tped
somebody system. It's jabbl from kiss.
Speaker 4 (01:19:46):
I have confessed dishing just desserts when.
Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
The Sacred.
Speaker 5 (01:19:56):
Spelled the teen nine two oh two A one zero
ninety five nine out as Katie and Nick my Monday
morning tea. My family and I decided six plus months
ago that we were going to be moving out.
Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Of state to be closer to family.
Speaker 5 (01:20:09):
Only our family and close friends know the tea is
I haven't told a soul at work yet. I love
my job, the team I supervise, and the people I
work with, which is going to make it difficult. So
I putting it off as long as possible. We are
six weeks away from movie. I'm going to be talking
with my supervisor and the team next week, and.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
I'm dreading it. Yeah, I understand that that does stink.
Speaker 5 (01:20:34):
And now you've built it up, it's just harder and harder. Yeah, yeah,
all right, all right, hang in there.
Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
Let us know if we can do anything. You want
us to tell him, Yeah, we'll be fine. We can
tell him if you want. Yeah, you wants to call
and just be like, we have the darnest thing to
tell you.
Speaker 5 (01:20:49):
Night two eight one zero ninety five to nine. I've
had feelings for my ex, my ex's brother for months,
either or no. It's part of the reason we were
not together. Okay, okay. I just hit two years clean
two weeks ago. I wish I wasn't.
Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
Oh congratulations, Oh.
Speaker 5 (01:21:08):
Wait what well, I'm just gonna read these are real
thoughts from this person. So I wish I wasn't. I
miss being part of something. Now I have no friends
because they all still do it. I stopped because I
knew I would relapse.
Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
I know.
Speaker 5 (01:21:21):
I stopped drinking too because I knew I would relapse.
I know I'm doing the right thing. The loneliness is
wanting me to give in. I'm not going to give in,
but damn, sometimes I just miss being fun. I don't
know you, but I bet you're more fun than you
think you are.
Speaker 1 (01:21:38):
No what I mean like that's them.
Speaker 5 (01:21:39):
I feel like, yeah, your I was gonna say, your
view of how fun you are might be not quite.
We're not quite on par with reality right now. Just
because as.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):
Much as I joked about the first one, if there's
anything we can do for you, let us know for real.
I have a secret. I started a new business as
a personal trainer. Oh sweet.
Speaker 5 (01:21:57):
I've been working very hard for the last year. The
only people that no or my family and inner circle.
But I am scared to death to put myself out
there with marketing, et cetera. It's technically my fourth career
over the years, so the fear of judgment, snarky comments,
weird opinions is so real.
Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
I'm literally terrified. So myself out there. No, you need
the hater because you need to. You need to put
yourself out there. Let's get you let's come on, we
need some clientele. Yeah, jump on some crates and stuff
like that.
Speaker 5 (01:22:28):
I don't know what type of personal training when you
have a fear, even if it's not rational, it doesn't matter. O.
Speaker 1 (01:22:34):
Katie isn't swimming a pool for years. The sharks right.
My wife is loving and supportive.
Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
It took me all weekend to finally show her a
magic trick this week, and I was so nervous to
show her something.
Speaker 1 (01:22:45):
I literally I sat there and thought about it all
week here. I don't know, dude, I don't know, because
you're starting to really pour yourself back into the magic.
I don't want to talk about thing. I'm just asking what.
I don't know what's happening that you're totally getting into
the magic again. I don't know. I enjoy it. No,
it's not a bad thing at all. I'm just saying,
this is what I don't want. It's a little no what.
There's nothing going on. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
This a little bit of a change where it's well,
it's just the changes. I'm talking about it out loud.
It's not really a change.
Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
You were doing magic secretly for a while. I was
playing with cards and stuff. I just okay, you know, well,
this is good for you, is it? Yes, you're living
your true self.
Speaker 5 (01:23:21):
I stayed out until bar closed this weekend with an
old friend that's getting divorced while my BM was sleeping
at home.
Speaker 1 (01:23:28):
Was this old friend a yes? Is former significant other?
Because if you're helping a friend, yeah, helping a friend
is getting divorced. I feel like bm's gonna be alright
with that. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:23:41):
I'm sick of the micromanaging by someone that doesn't know
what he's doing but brags he's the reason work gets done.
Speaker 1 (01:23:49):
That is tough to be. You're that ten well, because
that person can never be convinced of the actual truth.
They've created their own reality, and so you can fight back.
You can kick back and be like, but they're not
doing it, and that person will be like, but I am,
and you're like all right?
Speaker 5 (01:24:05):
Nine two two eight one zero ninety five nine spill
the tea. My secret is sometimes I almost feel bad.
I'll be about being blocked by Brett farm.
Speaker 1 (01:24:13):
No no reason, no reason to feel bad? Why all right, Nope,
this is not the segment to follow up, But yeah,
I want to know the backstory of how you got
blocked by Brett bart Oh we know it.
Speaker 5 (01:24:25):
It's been told. Okay, yeah we do. Yes, Yeah, I
know a couple that broke up about a year ago.
There's still friends though they work together. I'm not supposed
to tell anyone they broke up. After this long, I'm
wondering if it's just a long, elaborate test of my loyalty.
Oh my goodness, you guys, the test part was a joke.
Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
Oh my gosh, spill the tea nine two oh two
eight one zero, ninety five nine. This is ninety five nine.
Kiss half half.
Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
I don't off you saw what they were selling at
Walmart over the weekend. Kiss FM Jet Puff had wall
marshmallow kits. Yeah, to dye giant marshmallows instead of eggs.
Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
Yeah, this year for Eastern I did see that.
Speaker 5 (01:25:10):
Yeah, it's the dip and decorate kit. Came a six dies,
a set of decorating pens, a pack of jumbo marshmallows
roughly the same size as eggs. Then you get a
pink carton to dry them in and a label that
says farm Fresh Marshmallows.
Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
Yeah, that's kind of cute little kit.
Speaker 5 (01:25:29):
If you buy food coloring you can do this on
your own. A bag of marshmallows is cheaper than a
dozen eggs. You get twice as many a little bag
of food coloring. Probably all said.
Speaker 2 (01:25:39):
So we've started buying farm fresh eggs. Has anyone ever
died those?
Speaker 1 (01:25:44):
And how do they turn out? Because they're actually just
really pretty on their own, they are, they're all different sizes.
Why don't they taste amazing like that? I don't know
now that I even thinking about it. That's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:25:57):
It's very weird to me that the ones that we
buy in regular stores don't appear other than the shape. Yeah,
don't appear much like eggs that you get from that farmer. Yes,
you know, I never thought of that little little concerning. Yeah, well,
they would like you to decorate marshmallows if you want to.
(01:26:17):
If you want to decorate my head, I do have
my head available, I will shave it fresh for you.
Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
Good for you?
Speaker 2 (01:26:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
Yeah, the dip and decorate kit. Let's see what does
it self work? At the price? I just noticed that
they existed, and I see that it exists, and I
can't see a price here. Oh this is a kit
that in a box?
Speaker 4 (01:26:43):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:26:43):
Is that how it comes.
Speaker 5 (01:26:44):
Oh it does it comes, Oh, it comes with it.
Oh that's cute. It actually comes in a box with a.
Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Kit and the grass and then it's got the different
things to decorate it with. That's smart. That way you
can charge more look at them. Yeah, because sorry, oh no,
that's right, I was gonna say, I did. I did
find it interesting. I did look at marshmallows and for like,
because eighteen eggs now are down to about it, but
(01:27:09):
seven dollars and thirty cents is what it was, and
a bag of marshmallows was like three fifty. And I
thought it's not that much of a savings anymore, because
there were twelve marshmallows in that bag for three fifty
and eighteen eggs for seven thirty. Oh yeah, And I
thought it's really not that different anymore. It's a very
like it's a dramatic price when you look at package
versus package, But eighteen eggs versus twelve marshmallows and you
(01:27:34):
have to buy two packs of marshmallows. I thought marshmallows
are gonna be more fun though than Payton Easter potatoes.
I don't think the ptails are still there. Yeah, you
still get more potatoes. You do get more potatoes. It
was all against as fun.
Speaker 5 (01:27:46):
A posts alone from Kiss Weekend and picks. We've got
them up right now on our Facebook page and our
Instagram page. We'd love to see your pictures, Nick, what'd
you put up?
Speaker 1 (01:27:58):
That is a crazy weekend? Acid Weekend got underway Friday night,
Kids Night with the Green Bay Blizzard, which was this
is my favorite one. And I told Ryan at at
the game what they pulled off for that entire game,
the pregame arcade which was awesome. Upstairs, the Dash for
Cash night, all the special guests UWGB Women's basketball out
(01:28:21):
there helping hype up the crowd and get it go
on the West of Pierce Soccer girls for the huge
kick contest overtime win, then the postgame laser show. It
was just an incredible night.
Speaker 5 (01:28:32):
And what a quick overtime win too, because we were
down there and you know it goes to overtime. Yeah,
it's it's kids' night, and you know the parents are like,
you know, you know, I'm sure not all of them,
but some of them are like I was kind of
hoping for the laser show, and that overtime was about
five seconds long.
Speaker 1 (01:28:49):
It was some crazy defense came up huge they did,
and yeah, sealed that one. So picture of the lasers
going on there. Then it was just a nice weekend
to be outside and went after a project that's been
looming since last spring ish summer. We've got we have
a little above ground garden thing that we've had for
like seven or eight years, but I've always wanted to
(01:29:10):
make like move it to a certain area of our
yard and make a corner out of it and like
actually just sort of make it a thing versus just
sitting there with the grass growing around it and trimming
and it's kind of a pain in the room. So
finally just just did it. Dug all the dirt out
of it, lifted it out, moved it, set up the
whole area, put in the the edging stone edging, laid
(01:29:32):
down the paper, and not just a need to finish
it a little bit. But that was like an all
day project. It's a little Saturday, a little Sunday, so
just put that up. Yet you know, still some still
some hard work ahead. Weird looking one is a little
picture of our floor with little rubber pellets. It is
rubber pellet season in our entryway and It's one of
(01:29:52):
my favorite times of the year because football season is
back for my son and they play at the Rocker Stadium,
so they play a Capital Credit Union field, and those
little rubber pellets in the shoes is just one of
my It's one of my favorite things where people always say,
you're going to miss the handprints on the window, or
you're gonna miss the whatever. I'm gonna miss rubber pellets
(01:30:13):
season when my kids grow up and they leave the
house because they're everywhere. They are absolutely everywhere, and they
stick to you and they you can't It doesn't matter
if you bang them out outside and bring them in.
Somehow they work their way in.
Speaker 5 (01:30:24):
For those of us who don't know why, there are
rubber pellets the shirt, so it's the ground up rubber cushioning.
Speaker 1 (01:30:32):
I mean that goes on there for other people. Yeah,
and they just the little rubber pellets just get in everything,
stick to you, They get in the shoes, and it
is something I will absolutely miss growing when when the
kids grow up and they're gone, it's like, oh, I'm
gonna miss litt rubber pets. To be clear, that question
was for the texture. Yeah, those rubber pellets are going
to be there what from basically now until Thanksgiving, and
(01:30:55):
it's just it. That's just fun. And then I threw
up just a bunch of pictures from the FAA f
r C C All Star Game last night. It's just awesome.
That was a great event. Kakana put on an awesome show.
The kids put on the show, but they hosted an
incredible event. It was it was a really cool night.
Speaker 2 (01:31:10):
What did you get, Gaty, what'd you put up? I
didn't do a ton this weekend. It was pretty chill
weekend and we did We did the Blizzard game, which
was a great time. And then Saturday, I did a
whole lot of nothing. And Sunday we were busy with
a bunch of baseball stuff. So I took the George
and I had some George time because sometimes he gets
(01:31:32):
a little ignored. Yeah, and we went to the Thousand
Islands and we went for a couple mile walk.
Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
It's very nice.
Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
And then we were also at the FRC Yeah f
VA game and Brody was pretty excited. He got to
be the one of the ball kids for the three
point contest and Michael helped him. So the picture I
have is Kegan shooting and Brody rebounding for him and
(01:31:59):
Michael rebounding as well.
Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
Nice, yeah, my picks.
Speaker 5 (01:32:03):
I went to the State Special Olympics down in Oshkosh
on Saturday, and I'm walking through and there to see
Jeff and Jamie, and I have a picture of Melinda
and me and Jeff and Jamie. Jeff's been my friend
since I don't know, like I was.
Speaker 1 (01:32:17):
I think it was. I think there's a picture of
him at my third birthday party. And he's a Special Olympian.
Speaker 5 (01:32:23):
Jamie is not only a Special Olympian, she works for
the Special Olympics in their Madison office. So it's always
nice to see them. They were out supporting fort Atkinson,
so they weren't even playing. We were watching the four
team play and I've seen those guys play. A couple
of those guys were at Jeff's wedding. One of them
ran into Melinda by accident. Yeah, they're just booking down
the court, right, He's just running and he's full on
(01:32:45):
and he runs right into Melinda and he's sweating all over.
Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
And after the game he comes up he's doing I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:32:52):
I read into it and I go, hey, man, usually
you got a Buyer dinner, like to get that close,
you know what I mean. I'm sorry so to see
Jeff and Jamie that was awesome. I got a picture
of us up there. But then I'm walking through and
I hear this voice that I have heard for probably
twenty five years answering telephones in radio stations in northeast Wisconsin.
Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
His name is Nick. Nick is a giant radio.
Speaker 5 (01:33:18):
Fanh awesome, and he is he's been calling at so
great because I got to talk to him about this.
He's been calling for Sabrina Carpenter's songs for probably eight years,
and finally she has had a year of huge success.
And I said to him, I go, Nick, do you
feel like you've finally been heard? Like you've been asking
(01:33:40):
for Sabrina Carpenter forever? He goes, yeah, Craig said that
down a Milwaukee Craig Carson. I don't know who he is,
but he must be a dyeah because he said the
same thing, like I should get credit.
Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
I go, dude, she should be thanking you at the Grammys.
Speaker 5 (01:33:54):
You've been begging for her music for nine years and
it's finally come to fruition now. Anyways, He's like, can
I get a picture, and I said, can we post
it on our page? He said yes, So this is
Northeast Wisconsin Radio's biggest fan, Nick Special Olympics. Those are
the picks. We've got them up on our Facebook page,
our Instagram page. We want to see your pictures. You
(01:34:17):
can post them there in the comments section. It's ninety
five nine Kiss FM. Gott to pick a winner for
the bar lunch coming up here in just a couple
of minutes. We do lunch every Thursday at one of
the bar group locations, so that includes Greystone and Haggameister Park.
In any bar location near you, text lunch to nine
two O two eight one zero ninety five nine. Click
(01:34:37):
the link and it could be you some of your
co workers having lunch with myself, Katie and Nick at
the bar, sports, food, fun and Kiss FM. You can
also go to ninety five nine kissfm dot com and
do it there if.
Speaker 1 (01:34:50):
You'd prefer should should? We should? Wait? All right? Katie?
Speaker 5 (01:34:55):
Nick ring in with your name name, So something to
a party that you might start doing if everyone else.
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
Is doing it? Katie, Katie, what do you got dance dancing?
Is it dance?
Speaker 7 (01:35:07):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:35:08):
That is the top answer there are six more would
you like to play your past? All right, Katie names
something that a party that you might start doing if
everyone else is doing it. Drinking drinking. Number two answer.
Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
Chanting, chanting, go chug. Oh okay, all right, I get it.
I'm trying to think of what that would just chanting?
Is it chanting? Eating?
Speaker 4 (01:35:38):
Eating?
Speaker 1 (01:35:39):
Is it eating?
Speaker 10 (01:35:40):
It is?
Speaker 1 (01:35:41):
Fourth answer? There are four left. Names something at a
party you might start doing if everyone else is doing it.
Playing a game, playing a game like twister, maybe beer? Yeah, okay,
all right, is it playing a game?
Speaker 2 (01:36:00):
You?
Speaker 1 (01:36:01):
What might I start doing?
Speaker 10 (01:36:02):
You know what?
Speaker 6 (01:36:03):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (01:36:03):
You know what.
Speaker 5 (01:36:04):
I'm gonna go ahead and give it to you. I'm
gonna go ahead and give this one to you controversially
because I'm just thinking what would Katie do? And I
may be wrong here, but later if you had found
out karaoke was on it, I'm going with care, I'm gonna.
Speaker 1 (01:36:19):
Give it to you. Okay, okay, looks like that was
the wrong choice. No, no, But then I'm like, maybe
that would have been chanting, Like yeah, I can yeah.
Sometimes you know, we don't realize that tough it is
to be judges.
Speaker 5 (01:36:32):
Well, that's something I really want a group of judges
to decide this for me, But that seems like a
stupid expense. Name something that a party you might start
doing if everyone else is doing it?
Speaker 1 (01:36:45):
Drugs? Okay, no, I mean I get it. I like
the Wizard drugs. Yeah, all right, I personally would not,
but every made for TV movie and chanting at you
that you must do this, you must. This is a drug.
Speaker 4 (01:37:02):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:37:04):
There's only two left laughing having a good time? Is
it laughing?
Speaker 6 (01:37:10):
It is?
Speaker 1 (01:37:11):
All right? No, I got one more, got one? Just kidding, ye, yes,
I took it back, um kidding. What is something that
I would do that everybody's having a good time? And
I said eating right leaving, leaving, hey once they leave. Yes,
that's all. I got it on my list. I'm not
the first one anymore. Okay, yeah, all right, nikk you
(01:37:34):
can steal it all. We got a couple of we
want to go? Do you want to have like smoke,
like have a cigarette because I only smoke when I drink,
or do you want you want to go?
Speaker 3 (01:37:40):
Okay, all right, guys, I don't know if it's gonna
be up there or not, but there's the old upside
down Pineapple on the door. We're gonna say make out.
Oh you went to a makeout party, Katie. That's okay,
Katie's at a makeout party. He's in the fishbloarne you Katie.
If I gave it to you for kid are you ok?
I gotta give it to Nick for making it out. Yes,
(01:38:02):
it was getting it on, but we're gonna go ahead.
Speaker 1 (01:38:05):
Everybody else, Yeah, is smoking on there?
Speaker 5 (01:38:08):
No, the other one was very close to getting on,
Like part of getting it on involves the other guests
getting naked.
Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
So but those were separate line. I figured, Uh, the
delinquents who answer these questions would have meant that on
their cadies had a makeout part.
Speaker 5 (01:38:23):
But you're trying to cover it up right. This one's
filling the blank. We asked one hundred women. I dumped
my new boyfriend when I found out his mom still
blanks him.
Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
Katy, please please keep this speach. I know it makes
his lunch. He still makes his lunch? Is it makes
his lunch?
Speaker 10 (01:38:45):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:38:46):
Feeds and nurses him? Oh God? All right, well there
you go, though this the stage is said for where
this is?
Speaker 2 (01:38:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:38:52):
I was gonna say, now we know, now we know?
Do you want to play or pass. Oh no, wait,
you can actually beat.
Speaker 1 (01:38:58):
It, Nick, that was not the time. I'm gonna say,
then bathes him Bathe just gives him a bag.
Speaker 5 (01:39:03):
And that is the answer right above it the top answer, Nick,
you want to player pass, I will play?
Speaker 1 (01:39:06):
All right?
Speaker 5 (01:39:07):
There are two four five more. We asked one hundred
women to fill in the blank. I dumped my new
boyfriend when I found out his mom still blanks him.
Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
His mom still dresses him him, his mom still picks
out his clothes.
Speaker 5 (01:39:20):
Got the eyes od shirt and the Penny loafers. Yeah, yeah,
all right, Nick. We asked one hundred women. I dump
my new boyfriend when I found out his mom still blanks.
Speaker 1 (01:39:28):
Mom still pays his bill. And that's weird because he's
an adult. Yeah, he's forty six, pays for everything that
is correct, pays.
Speaker 5 (01:39:37):
For and supports him. I asked one hundred women. I
dumped my new boyfriend when I found out his mom
still blanks him.
Speaker 1 (01:39:44):
Nick. It doesn't really fit the sentence, but I'm gonna say,
launder laundry is him does his laundry? Mom still washes
his clothes, cleans for him. Yeah, yep, Yeah, there's two left, Nick, Otis,
she still hows is him. She's still she lives in
her house. There's one left, and I think for the
(01:40:05):
clean sweep, we're gonna go it. Still kisses him on
the mouth. Well that's always a thing, Like all the
celebrities or whatever, they always get in trouble and they're like, yeah,
they do give them the mouth least the silverstone, and
they and Dwayne Wade and is it mouth kisses.
Speaker 6 (01:40:22):
It is not.
Speaker 1 (01:40:24):
All right? Okay, Mom still spanks him, she still disciplines him,
and it's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:40:31):
And it's a clean sweep. Congratulations, you are all welcome
and your new family Feud twenty twenty five champion Nick Vetronto.
Speaker 1 (01:40:41):
Yeah, guys, I don't want to do it, but that
was impressive. Don't you come over here? Getty's stand by winner.
Put this green jacket out, Queen sweep. Call me, yeah,
call me Rory today.
Speaker 8 (01:40:53):
You call.
Speaker 1 (01:40:55):
Although his was less, his was less less dom Yeah.
Oh that fuck good, guys. I gotta tell you, Oh,
that's amazing. This is ninety five nine Kiss FM.
Speaker 5 (01:41:09):
This is ninety five to nine Kiss FM Mornings with Otis,
Katie and Nick. I'm trying to see if I can
get a hold of somebody on our telephone this morning,
as we have to award a lunch of free lunch
with listeners at the bar group. So if your phone rings,
well with the delay, if your phone rings in ten
or ten seconds ago, that was us, would be right,
(01:41:32):
Would it be in ten seconds? It would be in
ten seconds because we're delayed. Yeah, it's very confusing. My
brain can't probably, yeah, answering because that's us. We're calling
you Priba at work doing stuff. Oh nope, I thought
(01:41:52):
that was a click. Did you I heard a click?
Speaker 1 (01:41:56):
I thought for sure. Figure by the fourth ring, they're
not answering. No, no, all right.
Speaker 5 (01:42:01):
Should we leave a message? Yeah, okay, let's make sure
we're not getting the phone number.
Speaker 6 (01:42:04):
On there is not available.
Speaker 1 (01:42:09):
Oh hi Laurie, Hello Laurie. This is Otis Katie and Nick.
We want to take you lunch.
Speaker 5 (01:42:17):
Yeah, you want to go to lunch this Thursday? Can
you go to lunch with us on Thursday? We're gonna
be at the bar on Lime Kiln. So that's the
bar that I hang out at the most.
Speaker 1 (01:42:25):
I love all the bars, but that's that's your favorite.
That's the one.
Speaker 5 (01:42:28):
Well, it's just the one. I always going to Yeah convenient.
So yeah, we're gonna be at the bar Limekilned this Thursday.
If you would like to join us, I will try
you again. I will also try your email address and
we'll hopefully get you and some co workers to grab
some lunch with us.
Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
Thank you, Lori. This is ninety five to nine Kiss FM.
Speaker 5 (01:42:46):
You want to do lunch text lunch and I'm two
two eight one zero ninety five to nine, And then
click the link and then you can watch me try
to figure out which person I can convince to split
the nachos with me, because that's really yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (01:43:01):
Just want let's put the nachos. I probably I will
just guss so much what I'm gonna do. I'm very
excited though. I'm excited too. I'm gonna do the nachos
and then I'm gonna just take most of them home. Yeah,
just take them home. They warm up great. You put
them in the oven, great, little parchment paper, bake them up. Well, Nick,
we have an air fryer, so we'll do that. Well,
that's fine, that's just a lot to put in air.
(01:43:24):
We have an air well because he won't get one.
I don't need my oven air fry.
Speaker 2 (01:43:30):
Gosh, I can't keep having it's a convectionn't.
Speaker 1 (01:43:33):
Throw it in there for five minutes. Let's talk about Costco.
Speaker 5 (01:43:36):
Yes, it's Teddy Swims because this sounds like something that
would happen in Louisiana, which is where it happened, and
it sounds very Louisiana or maybe even Texas.
Speaker 1 (01:43:46):
This is Kiss FM. Four people in Louisiana rested after
riding their horses through a Walmart. Yeah, decided to take
their horses right through Walmart. You're going to burn order Walteo.
Why did they do this? Yeah, that's my emotional support animal.
We just went in and rolled. We always read to Baka.
We just wanted to do it that day. I mean
(01:44:07):
it was fun. We went famous, that's all. We't want
to hurt no bad than nothing. What are you in for?
I killed a guy? What are you whatever? I think
it's fun. I happened to knock anything off shelves or
(01:44:27):
was it just?
Speaker 2 (01:44:28):
I mean, if you genuinely have these horses under control, Yeah,
you can't control the pooping.
Speaker 1 (01:44:33):
I mean that would be about the only thing you
can't control when they let it go, Like, do I
think what a pain in the bud for everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:44:41):
Yes, but if this, if these were a bunch of
high schoolers and this was their senior prank, we'd be like.
Speaker 1 (01:44:46):
That's so funny.
Speaker 5 (01:44:47):
Well, I don't know, because the pig One. I always
thought the pig one was funny where you released four pigs,
but you label them.
Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Has anyone actually ever done that? Probably, And I'm not
going to believe you, you're lying. Yes, And in the
tunnel when Ted Thompson said that Brett Favre was never
going to throw another snap in Green Bay as long
as he.
Speaker 1 (01:45:06):
Lives what wait what everybody there was during all the
far of drama that everybody claimed to it, but you
know I heard him. Thompson said, you'll never play here again.
You'll never think and that he physically ran down to
the tunnel to tell me I don't remember that missed
that part of the story. Yeah, And and like let's
(01:45:27):
say that he did turned out he was right, yeah, right,
backed the right horse, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:45:34):
And again.
Speaker 1 (01:45:36):
What he was Aaron Rodgers with it depends. Well, yes,
he's team Aaron. Right now. I thought there's I think
it's already. I think that is a done deal that
they have just agreed, will not be signed, sealed and
delivered until after the draft and O T A S
and then he'll roll into town. And that's what That's
(01:46:00):
what my gut tells me. Yeah, But at the same time,
it also wouldn't shock me if they the done deal
is I'll talk to you later, like standing like, hey,
Aaron's standing off her, and he goes, all right, i'll
talk to you later. Finish that. If I were him,
sit on your rear, dude, sit on your butt, and
by week three someone will have suffered a catastrophic injury
(01:46:22):
and you can ride into town on your white stallion
with no expectation because you've been out of football. You're
the backup. Nobody's gonna expect you to win a super Bowl.
So go in with your tools and just see what
you can do.
Speaker 5 (01:46:35):
But when you play it like this, yeah, I like
Lindsey gave us the reason it's a problem, as though
we weren't sure why riding your horse through Walbert is
a problem. Just to clear it up, it is the
poopy that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (01:46:49):
If they were in the.
Speaker 5 (01:46:50):
Grocery area, most of the food in the front is
gonna have to get thrown away. In case there was splatter.
It's actually part of the health safety for a grocery store.
Speaker 2 (01:46:58):
So what is lady, they brought the horses into the
home and garden section, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:47:03):
We're good, So like you're okay, and frozen foods because
it would just hit the hit funning games. As long
as they don't poop and produce ladder No ladder poop
and splash zone. What if the what if the owner
catches it? What if they have a little horse apple bag?
Speaker 2 (01:47:18):
Yeah right, that should be fine. That's what if they
don't work at all? We all we all just assume
these horses are gonna poop. Yes, I mean, you know
what I do a lot throughout the day not poop.
Speaker 1 (01:47:28):
Yes, many a time I don't poop. And you're you're
you know what about twenty three years, sometimes twenty four
hours long thing doing not pooping. Yeah, there are some
days probably where people don't and then and then then
they might actually get a little concern sometimes. But do
horses poop? I don't know that. I mean, I can
(01:47:48):
you know not something I wanted my Google history horses?
Oh really, that's what you're embarrassive in your Google history. O.
The concern is real. The concern is real. Ten to
twelve times a day. Oh okay, all right, well the
mountain very but.
Speaker 2 (01:48:04):
Just think about it. It probably takes them four seconds. Yeah, no, free,
I mean, how well that's a minute a day. Well,
it's not really a minute of a day. That's twelve
twenty four forty eight. Yeah, I mean, so the chances
of them not pooping tony solid. Maybe we could get
them to just going in the front seat of your car,
lindsay confirming if it was in the patio area, they're
actually probably.
Speaker 1 (01:48:24):
Okay, oh okay, all right, So if you're gonna bring
your horses in the Walmart, please bring them through lawn
and garden if you don't mind, that would be great.
What did you What did you learn today? You've been
secretly learned this practicing magic. Yeah, on your own, and
it makes me sad that you might be your authentic self.
Oh I'm still my authentic seth. You were very excited
(01:48:46):
you finally showed your wife a magic tricks. Its like
you haven't revealed yourself to her. Well, this is the
this is the one thing. It's funny.
Speaker 5 (01:48:52):
It took me until I was fifty one to realize it.
This is the thing that gets me nervous. Nothing gets
me nervous. Really, I don't get people ask are you nervous?
Speaker 10 (01:49:00):
You do that?
Speaker 1 (01:49:00):
No, I'm not nervous about many things, but this, this
makes me nervous. I don't know why. But at what
did you learn today? I learned about pooping in Walmart?
I will learn how often horses poop. It's a lot six, yeah,
six to twelve on the load, it says on average ten.
I learned that Nick can't win. Well, no, it's not
(01:49:23):
very gosh, it's just a joke. Because I ran the table.
I thought that was impressive. How many times have we
run the table on that thing? Well? Well, remember this
one little humility would go a long way. I have
a lot of humility. Is why can't I be Why
can't I be excited that I wont No, No, I
don't think I crossed it. I don't.
Speaker 5 (01:49:41):
I learned that people might finally start texting full words again.
It's like my wishes ye are finally coming true. If
we can start start using punctuations, it would be a
solid week for me.
Speaker 1 (01:49:53):
Great, come on, people, you can do it. Exclamation boat
qua
Speaker 6 (01:49:56):
Can Katy ninety five nights, Let's go kiss that FuMB
