Speaker 1 (00:00):
Who's ready for a show. Wait, what day is today? Thursday?
Thursday's bad for me, Thursday's perfect. I don't know if
you've worked with one of these. We call it a microphone.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Just let me know what I'm on, all right, I
don't know who you are.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Well, I'm something of a famous radio personal that sounds
like a media voice. Are we ready for a burner?
It's ninety five nine kids, I have had morning zonis
Katy and Nick.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Nick is off.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
John Mino is feeling it. I know Morning Katie is
here and we have a big morning plan.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I know.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I'm very excited Joel. Yeah. So, and I'm gonna apologize
and organize this entire your thing, Katie. Why is it
going to be the best day ever?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Because we're giving out three burgers because theres on twelve.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
In a row, so the Brewers win twelve. We have
no George web for most of us anywhere near us,
and there's a few folks we've got one.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Thing.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, Brody's wearing his and you're wearing yours. Yep, And
I got a guy.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
You don't what your people ask me the first time
I was on last week or whatever. Yeah, they said
that you had a dinosaur shirt on. I did that
because like I'm old.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
No, okay, that's a people said, he thought you were
doing that as kind of nicky. That what nik said. Yeah,
that nicky Nikky knows how.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
To put She passed it.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I have a man trotting with scissors because I feel
like you would fall. I would. This is all for you. Yes,
So when Brews, I did my finger look my little finger.
Oh my little finger. Oh yeah, that's all messed up.
You got a problem. That's a blood blisters, yeah, Brews.
When George Web gives out free burgers, we have no
George Webs in our area for the most part. So

(01:40):
you came up with a brilliant idea.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
We want to give you burgers. We want to give
you that same experience, that same opportunity to know what
else we're doing. We're beating George Web to it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yes, breakfast burgers. When they could say, what was it?
Nineteen eighty seven? I was too young? Oh yeah, you
were you in nineteen eighty seven? Five? Oh my god, yeeriously,
I was eight? Yes, and quiet you Joe, sorry John,

(02:08):
it is within walking distance of my home. Yeah, STALLI
stally good old stally. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
We were talking about it and Broods is here Brody
and I can't.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I'm shocked at how big he is.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yeah, yes, he So he got up this morning with
me and we kept saying because he's gonna help us
girl the burgers. He's actually pretty good on the girl.
And I'm like, we need hard labor. Yeah, we need
I was like, you sure you want to come? Sure
you want to come?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yep, yep.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
He got up with me this morning and he's getting
ready and he goes this early. Now I know why
you have bags under your eyes.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Oh my god, Diesel. He's at home getting his beauty football.
I'm gonna throw Brody some passes.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
What's so funny.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Our neighbors were like, are you going to go out
this morning for some burgers? And he said highly unlikely,
but he might.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Come for this football because I used to be a
quarterback and Broads was talking about he wants to be
a wide receiver. I could throw him some passes. What anohing?
I just are you sure like you didn't tear rotator
comforts yet? Let's not do it.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
But back to back to the burgers. We're gonna be
We're gonna fire up the girl in about ten minutes.
We got the meat you put me yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Grill, let's just say it's not a grill as it is,
it's the blackstone, So this will even be better if
those are cool. Oh, they're wonderful. And we have a
wonderful donation, uh from our friends over at Salmon's Beats.
So we got Ebert grown beef they donated. I'm gonna
say fantastic. I'm gonna say ninety five patties, but we

(03:44):
have more than that. Yes, and we get a few
in case Brody needs one, and in case we have
one fall yes. And you know what else we did.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
We Diesel went to the store for us last night
and got pancake mixed.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
So that we can pass out some pocket Yes, yeah, bacon, Okay,
now he can you shut up and stop bringing things
up that would have made it better. Stop usually are
you gonna do fried onions?

Speaker 3 (04:12):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (04:13):
You know what I ate the other day?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
First time ever? Cheddar No, no, no, no, cannibal sandwich. Oh okay,
and it was really good to me. It was really
there's something weird in our DNA that were like, I agree,
but it's the first time I've ever done it. Yeah,
and it was really good. Have you ever had that? Notice? Yeah,
I when we grew up, that was a staple in

(04:36):
Lake Mills. Rely, yeah, when we would go to a
little thing. My my problem is though I don't like onion.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Well you have to have like That's why I feel
like that the onion would take a bite into it.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Pertie, do you know what a cannibal sandwich is? No? Oh,
tell me raw meat. It's literal rock.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Like right off, you kill the cow or whatever it
is or hogg or I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I don't know. I don't know. I know, you know cow?
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yes? Crowded beef is a cow? Did you give him
the joke? Give him the joke ground beef?

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
What do you call a cow on the ground now
with no legs on the ground?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
No, it's a cow with no legs ground beef. That's
that joke. Yeah, yes, he does, Dad jokes. That was
like his first joke.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I did not know that. Yes, what do you call
legs like one? No, Brodie, what do you call it?
Fish with no eye? A fish with wash? Oh? Yeah,
fish with no eye? Okay, I guess what did that?
What did the fish say when it ran into the wall?

(05:49):
I don't know. Damn, damn. Look at you back and
forth like this is a tennis match. I'm not sure which.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
So, yeah, we're gonna we're going to fire up the
Blackstone in about ten minutes.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
You and I are going to be a hot mess
out there minutes. Yeah, is if Diesel shows up, is
he going to clean the grill like he did at
my house?

Speaker 4 (06:10):
He doesn't touch this girl this and I will warn
you this girl looks dirty. But that's what it's supposed
to season. This season called season seasoned. Yes, yeah, well
I know, yeah, the first ninety five people. Yeah, if
you stop by, we're going to have like a drive through.
That's that's the big reason that he's here. We got
to wrap the burgers. Oh yeah, the drive through and
all that. Yes, yes, we're going to put a twelve

(06:31):
year old in charge of trap. I can still throw
I love think you think he's awake right now?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Really fine, princess. So if you want a burger, first
of all, the ten minute thing, I'm getting a little
nervous with that. We haven't even checked to see that
the meat is completely like is ready to be cool.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
But by the way, they drove all the way from
Elgoma last night like this. This took all hands on deck.
So I just want to thank everybody all ready because this.
We don't like to jinx things. So phone calls did
not start going out in till there were three outs
left and we were up by seven.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Then you then you decided and I said, okay, let's
do this. Nick and I are on the phone. I'm
sad Nick can't come. Sad.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Nick said he's missy sad too. He misses everybody because
this is right Nick's wheelhouse. But I will say, if
anybody is going to be here, very happy it to you.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Min know, thank you.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Yes, so you hear that. Dan, I'm just saying, was
our sports guy, like was our so and you know
the essence of Nick. So if anybody can embody Nick,
anybody can embody.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Back and forth Nick and I about Monday. I assume
he smells like Suave or herbal essence, the essence of
but we're talking. We got to get his dad on, yes,
Joel Oh, I would love to. Yeah, yeah, so I'll
invade that privacy.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Okay, all right, So we had all hands on deck Joe,
our boss, met me at festival to pick up buns
cheese onion.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
No, remember when you me and Murphy did that? No,
we never did. No, never did. Do you have ketchup?
We can't ketch up on hamburger. I already have mayonnaise
on hamburgers. Oh no.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
I went to a place, a place a man of talk,
and I asked I put put mayonnaise on my French rice.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
And they asked him for mayonnaise.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
And they brought me a little one of those little
or paper little cups and charge a dollar good for them?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Would you? Yeah? I paces do someplace really for like
a tablespoon mayonnaise a dollar. It's like your punishment for
asking for you.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Well, because well what bothers me is you'd give me
ketchup for free. I didn't ask for ketchups, so why
can't I catch free?

Speaker 5 (08:41):
But anyways, remember pulp fiction I do? Yeah, I've never
seen they put on French fries in Amsterdam mayonnaise.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, great movie. I was waiting for something really really, No,
it's not fine, he's just gonna quote movies you haven't seen. Anyways,
if you want the burger, let's say ten minutes. No,
we're gonna start grilling. I'm saying, so people could just
show up and get a burger.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Yeah, but yeah, yes, Well, so we have a we
were trying to go with a thing. I'm guessing this
part's not going to work on Facebook. We have a
a picture. We would like you to either print that
out or have a screenshot of it to show it to.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Us because you're here. It's like a coupon. It's like
a coupon that says I want the burger kind of yeah,
and basically says I know what's going on.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Yes, so that you're not just some I'm pritando driving
by on College.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Ok.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
That goes. Oh, I see that there's a grill and
there's a line. But we do like the randos driving
by on College. Also, Yes, feel free to stop by. Yeah,
say hi. So we'll get this thing fired up here
in a bit, we'll start handing out free burgers today
for the Brewers twelve in a row. It is ninety
five nine. Kiss, I have bet Mino in for Nick
Chainsmokers stay up, ninety five nine kids have that morning

(09:52):
totis Katie. Nick. We do have a shot for a
little b rain on and off. Today's pop up showers
and a high of eighty one should be good for
our burger bonanza. Oh breakfast, brute, it's our Brewers breakfast
burger bananza. Al made that. I'm not all right? So
Minu Mino's in for Nick today and you since the
Brewers did twelve and a row yesterday, Katie and Mino

(10:15):
are going to be grilling up burgers on the Blackstone
right in the garage here in about twenty minutes or so.
And the first ninety five people that show up, and
you're supposed to show us the screenshot that you can
get on our Facebook page or print it, you'll get
a burger for free. Yeah, that's it. There's no catch.
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
And actually Bros is in the kitchen right now. Put
together some pancake picks. Check there to do some chips?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
No, no, no, okay, no pocket pancakes. Ask can you
drop the chips? Okay, drop the chip.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
There was even a debate in the store yesterday with
Joe as he's we're walking up and down the aisles,
which we feel like they moved some things at festival.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
The bread is no longer with the chips they do
that on a regular basis because if they move things,
you have to walk down aisles you wouldn't normally go
and guess what you do buy things?

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Do you ever walked through around their delipart and just
like Windows Shop Home, Yeah, but you're not really gonna
buy it just looks so good.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
I looked at them like I'm in the food court
at the mall and I'm kind of face begging for
a sample like my dog does at the dinner table.
Like I thought I was the only one that did that. Yeah. Yeah.
Travis Kelsey and the Kelsey Brothers and Taylor Swift broke
the internet yesterday. They went on with the podcast The

(11:28):
New Heights Podcast to have Taylor Swift release her album information,
and about an hour and forty four minutes in the
screen went black. The New Heights social media account had
to let fans know that they had a glitch and
they were out for a little bit. They came back
on and I mean they basically told us all about
the new album. Did you see the part? What do

(11:51):
you think she'd think of me? Okay, not much?

Speaker 6 (11:54):
What?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
No, I don't I don't know. I don't think she'd
like any of us in this game. I'm just throw
I don't think I'm just not you.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
She would not like me. Who do you think she'd
rather have? Jason Kelsey? Hear me? Well, she's with Travis
or TRAVI Yeah, yeah, yeah, or what's ever one? I
was get that mixed up? Yeah? Okay. So the Life
of a Showgirl album? What is the album about? She
released twelfth right, So, yeah, this is my brand new album,
The Life of a Showgirl.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
It comes out October third, and this album is about
what was going on behind the scenes in my inner
life during.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
This tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
And I have a question. Did the Kelsey brothers knew
that she was going to release the album?

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Right?

Speaker 1 (12:38):
This wasn't a surprise. I mean no, from what it
sounds like, they were a part of it, okay, because
the excitement from the excitement about It's almost like they
were surprised that this was going to happen, like when
when it was when she first brought the thing up.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
So when I saw it, I didn't view it as surprise.
I view it as awe, okay, because I think they
were so in awe because the clips that I've watched.
They were so in awe of the fact that she
wrote an album during the Airess, Like are you kidding.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yea, she would basically have a couple of days off during.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
And well and not only that, you have to remember too,
she wasn't just and I'm not a big tailor swat fan,
like I'm a big tailor.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
I like her music. I think she's fane.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
I like her music, but I think she's an amazing
business woman. But I think that she is very image first,
which is great, but I think that that image does
not match the personality, if you get what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Yeah, yes, I think she's a mean girl. I do
think she's really I do. I do. Yes, so this
morning you.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Like, but so not only is she doing that, but
she's also like if we remember you guys, she was
flying from her World tour to the super Bowl. She
was she was in the box at all of these games,
like she genuinely my uncle, yes, and I have so
much respect for that, Like that, wow, Yeah, And I

(14:12):
feel like that.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Was that I'm in awe. I'm in awe of you here.
This is I think this is the release album. They're
like freaking out.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
The other part that I think they're freaking out about
is oh my gosh, this is happening on our podcast.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
It's happening right now. Yes, this is our biggest get.
Yes this there will be nothing bigger, There will be nothing. Nope,
I agree, and again broke the internet. They released, obviously,
the album cover, she released the track listing. She said,
there won't be any bonus songs. Nothing else is coming.
There's not a thirteenth This is she goes quote, this

(14:50):
is the record I've been wanting to make for a
very long time. So there you go. Talked a little
bit about when she got her music. Did you listen
to that?

Speaker 6 (14:58):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah, I watched so little made me uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Why the their body language with each other? Yes, because
she talks about how when she got her music back,
she like collapsed on the floor and started crying and
then she kind of collapsed into.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
His arms, looked a little forced.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Yes, yes, And I was like, I don't like that,
Like this is icky to me, Like this is very
like very over dramatic.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
And diesel do that though.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
Yes, wait, she collapsed in your arms at one time
at my cookout, remember, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
But that was it was a few too many blood.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Yes, so wait, and I'm not saying it gave me
the ick when she collapsed when she found out she
got her music. I understand all of that. It was
just she's retelling the story a year later and.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Falling back again. Yes, and then he's like holding her shoes.
Seems that way.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
She seems a little remember when she used to get
the awards at the when she first started.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Getting a little bit like the Elsie Brothers just did
with the album Reveal. Yeah, yeah, I'm with you on that,
all right, Well that you're going to be cheering that
loud for free burgers, brewers with coming Rod, who's Katie
Rudy you? What do you think it was cooking them?

(16:14):
I don't know I cook. Yeah, well we know you don't.
I need some chips though, Oh my god, John, could
somebody bring chips? That's all I'm asking. You know, somebody's
gonna chips. We're gonna get chips. We're gonna ask you
just chips. You gotta have chips with the burger? What
kind of chips? Any catcher? I love ripples, ripples, ruffles? Wait,

(16:38):
how do you shop for yourself? Do anybody know where
the ripples are Where are the ripples? Haven't bought chips
in a lot of years, I'll be honest. Five forty

don't know if they can hear me. Can you guys,

(17:44):
hear me. Can you want to grab a microphone potentially,
you know, maybe grab a mind you can hear me?
I can you hear you?

Speaker 5 (17:50):
The first burger that's fantastic is best burger of evertation
in my life.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
So they are doing burgers right now for the brewers win.
So George Webb is doing burgers, but most George webs
are down in the Milwaukee area and there's the one
in Pestigo. So we're doing burgers from the garage. Breakfast
burgers in the garage. How do we get them?

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Katie?

Speaker 4 (18:09):
You just come on out here. We're ready to go.
I think that we might have some cars pulling in
right now. This is kind of exciting.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
It's very exciting.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
But we don't have chips, so I'm asking people to
bring chips.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
I cannot believe you believe you're stuck on the chips thing.
We have some of the best meat we have, Ebert
grown beef patties from Salmon's Meat Prods. Yeah, and you're
out here worried about ripples.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
He looked very It does look very good. So we've
got a couple right now. We've got a couple burgers
all ready to go, and yeah, just it's gonna be
a little drive through.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
All the beef come. All the beef is born, raised,
and harvested on the Ebert family farm in Algoma. You
can get them from Salmon's Meat Products. We want to
thank our friends at Salmon's for basically yesterday driving like
forty five minutes with a cooler full of these Ebert
roam beef patties so that we could cook them up
this morning and hand them out. It's free. We are

(19:04):
on College Avenue in Appleton, twenty eight hundred East College
Avenue in Appleton, Katie, What do I have to do
if they want a burger? They literally just have to
come by.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Well, we've took a line of cart waiting for them.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
We're gonna be listen, listen to this traffic.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
Honey, Wait, what am I waiting for the first person?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
What if I get the steve on the street bed
and put it behind? It would sound a lot better
that way, wouldn't it.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Probably?

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Yeah, No, I don't know why I'm so nervous about
giving our address, but like you, we should probably give
our address right.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yea, And twenty eight hundred East College Avenue in Appleton
is where we are and but actually it's radio ROW
or something. Yeah, yeah, it's on radio roads. I oh,
listen to the traffic out there.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
We're on radio.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
I can hear it. Guys. The traffic behind you is
U saying war otto service?

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Yes, insane here it's getting insane.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Oh down there, body waiting for everybody.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Just relax, Hey, don't give out another burger, John until
you get those ripples chimps.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
I won't, I promise.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah, we do have ketchup mayonnaise.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
I would love some mayonnaise.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Oh my god. So if you want a burger, a
Brewer burger, great potato salads, we hold potato. I mean,
that would be nice. But let's just start with the burgers.
What about maybe some ribbis? I mean, or while we're
at it, let's uh, we can get something. I just
I just want to see one vehicle at this point.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
I remember, right, selling rocks, A kid on their roadside
things selling rocks. How do you dobody would stop? I
feel like I'm selling rocks again. You have wonder a
roads things selling rocks.

Speaker 1 (20:55):

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Guys, how you you've been out there?

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Okay, well just keep going then.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
All right, you've been in there two minutes. I think
you're getting a little too concerned with it. Don't worry.
The people will come for the free burgers if you
if you grill them, they will call it.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
That was really good. I had the first one though.
That is deletic good. That's phenomenal meat.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Yeah, you Bert, we're gonna put the here. I'm gonna
give this to min because we're gonna put more meat out.

Welcome.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Yes, Oh this is just ah this, this is what
this is all about. This is so exciting.

but this is for Rock Cancer. So thank you so
much again. I'm gonna be out there on Saturday from
four thirty to five thirty.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Power Hour, Katie out right now in our garage. The
Kiss of M Studios were twenty eight hundred East College
Avenue in Appleton. We normally wouldn't encourage you to I'm by,
but when the Brewers win, we're doing Brewers Burgers. We
don't get the luxury of having George Webbs all over
and I don't know if it's a luxury or not
because I've never eaten there. But I can tell you
that these Ebert grown beet patties from Salomon's Meat Products

(35:13):
are incredible. Brody is man in the Blackstone right now
along with Katie. They're making the burgers. We've got pocket pancakes.
Mino is out live.

just majestic because it's Yuker. We're all on board now,
are we all going with the Yuker thing? Now?

Speaker 7 (36:37):
No?

Speaker 4 (36:37):
This is why we don't want to go with the
Yucher narrative, because if we don't win the World Series,
we cannot blame a dead band like that's not fair.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
No, it's not fair. There's nothing to do with it.
If we get the win, fine, we'll give it to
him after they get the win.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
If we get the win, this was all Yuker, of
course it was if we get the loss, he had
nothing to do with it.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Of course, that's the way it goes. Yeah. Yeah, the
burgers right now? Are you growing them? Brody grilling him?

tattoo on her foot in a long time.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Oh yeah, she's got it all on for glory. Everybody
can come by and see today. She's not like Nick
who got his flying monkey tattoo.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
We raced. Well, that was I mean.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
That was a poor decision made in the heat of
of a moment. You know, you guys, what.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Well, the flying monkey one, because I mean he felt pressure,
he really was. Yeah, I think so. I think it's
kind of.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Got to put pressure on anybody.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Yeah you are, Yeah, you are. He had the tattoo.
You had the tattoo guy there, And how many dackeries
did you feed him that day? Actually had Jack Daniels
see see Yeah, okay, well that rings out a different
Nick and that Nick wants a flying monkey tattoo on
his back.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Actually, somebody mentioned to me the other day they loved
it when we were talking about how we got Nick's
wife lit up at our party that time.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
I'm sure mean loved it. Megan loved us. Student. I'm
sure they all want to hear this story while they're
on the way to the airport to leave. Yeah, that's
what we want to do.

Speaker 5 (38:14):
Yes, Uh, I am so impressed with Brody doing the
cooking out here. Otis I'm serious? This is incredible.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Yeah. Mine was perfect of his medium and had some
some bread. It was a good seer on it. I mean,
he knows what he's doing. The blackstone. The blackstone is
fired up right now.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
The diesel.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Yes, absolutely, it's not. Certainly not the girl dad does.
But you do everything else the blackstone, like look it up.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Yeah, what's your name?

Speaker 1 (38:48):
How many?

Speaker 3 (38:50):

Speaker 1 (38:52):

Speaker 3 (38:53):
My brothers go deliver the very nice.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
I want to thank Solomon's Meat Products and Ebert Grown Beef.
They donated all the beef. Patty City Brewer gear.

Speaker 3 (39:04):

Speaker 1 (39:12):
I am not. My husband is okay?

Speaker 3 (39:14):
I used to be a firefighter. I believe that I'm well,
don't it's I'm lying.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
You looking just wow, Katie, she's insulting me. She said,
I don't look like a firefighter.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
I said, exactly.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Hey, by the way, are you do you living? Little shoot?

Speaker 5 (39:31):

Yes, I'm hoping to get there.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
That's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 11 (39:38):
Yes, it will be great as well. Rock Cancer on
Saturday at Doyle Park.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
Yes, are you gonna be out there? You bet. I'll
be at a table. Look at this.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
Who would have even thought that this would turn into
a rock Cancer thing?

Speaker 1 (39:48):
And I love it. I love it.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Well, step up and have a burger or a pocket pancake.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Thank you, Thank you, Julie, and thanks for your husband.

Speaker 3 (39:56):

Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
Are the fourteen? Fourteen bars? I have I have known
this man for a very long time. Which man you? Yeah, okay,
I know what the real question you wanted to ask one? No,
what I didn't know? Nothing. He wants to know if
clothing is required at all times? It was just okay,
so okay, no, exactly where you were going? Yes, it

(01:05:32):
kind was. It was I saw the sparkle in your eye.

Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
No, he may or may not have fallen tripped into
a tablet's beach here and there trip.

Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
Yes, yeah, Trimpton just fell into No. I told you,
sir when we were in the Mexico trip. What did
a trip on is the question? Fine, don't want to know? Okay, Hollywood.
Am I invited on this trip? Of course?

Speaker 3 (01:05:55):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Yeah, you want to book it? Don't pay? How do
we book the trip, Eddie?

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
How do we book the trip? Well, you can go online.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
We have tel Trips dot com or call us eight
through three TL Trips and we can get you hooked up.

Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
Our agents are already.

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
You can also lead up through ninety five nine kiss
FM dot com if you want. And this has got
by the way, there's how many swimming pools are there?

Speaker 3 (01:06:16):
One?

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Are there? Two are there?

Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Three? Are no?

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
There's four? And the lazy oh, we just call it dangerous. Well,
and we just called that river.

Speaker 5 (01:06:27):
I gotta remember, I told Shirt Wisconsin Dell's. They had
to haul me out of the Lazy River. True story.
So had my daughter's with me, and you have those
inner tubes, okay, and my daughter behind me said something,
your dead, and I leaned back and the inner tube
shot out from under me and I scraped my knee again.

Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
I'll show you a scar against the wall of the
Lazy River. And these kids like, mommy, somebody's bleeding in
the river. They had to haul me out of there. John,
you've got a boo boo. Yeah, So you gotta be
careful in the lazy rivers.

Speaker 7 (01:06:58):
The Lazy River, it's fun. It has a bar somewhere
along the ridge. One of our advisors, she loves this property,
and she gave us a little tidbit yesterday so.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
That as you're lazy, you can also pause and get
more lazy. She may have been hammered on her. Is
it true on when you're in Cancun that coweries do
not count? I heard that.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
I think that's any vacation.

Speaker 4 (01:07:22):
Okay, So have you guys been to this resort or
somebody like what's the chips and salsae situation?

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
Why are you so educate me?

Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
I'm not sure because I have been to other resorts,
like we did our honeymoon in river A, Maaya. We
could not find chips and salsa for the life of us,
and all we wanted was chips and salsa.

Speaker 1 (01:07:43):
See. But I've been to Mexico and I've had chips
and salsa at all, inclusive of the Grand residencies. So
sad is that on your honeymoon that's the diesel. I
have always.

Speaker 13 (01:07:54):
Found unlimited chips and Okay, good, thank you, thank you,
thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:08:00):
I was really okay, good, good, because I was very
nervous because we've been talking a lot about chips and salta.

Speaker 1 (01:08:06):
I was like, we need to manage the expectations of
the people.

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
And I was very sad when I was in Revere,
Maya did not get chips and salsa.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
That's very sad.

Speaker 7 (01:08:15):
I was just down there a different resort, not playing
in Hollywood, but there were chips and salsa.

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
Like all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
Okay good, and I wanted to know, sat.

Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
Down, they give it chips and salsa.

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Pizza with hot dogs on them is special? Why would
you want hot dogs? Obviously, I'm obviously going to the
wrong places alone in this We're going to Mexico. Write
this time, all right, correctly stopped nodding.

Speaker 7 (01:08:44):
That.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
Come on, man, the million dollar question just came in
and the text line here kids have them. What's the cost?
How much? How do we do this? What's it going
to cost?

Speaker 7 (01:08:53):
Okay, it's a pretty good one. It's starting at twenty
one nine per person.

Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
Okay, but then that's every including yes.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
That is everything.

Speaker 7 (01:09:02):
That's your flight, right, that's your hotel transfers, all the
fun stuff at play of Hollywood Adult scene.

Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
Because normally so we book on our own because we
do these types of trips. Sometimes we'll book on our
own and sometimes you'll get one and it's like seventeen
ninety nine and you're think of twenty one hundred. That
doesn't see but that seventeen ninety nine doesn't include any
of the other stuff, and all of that is included
in this. So first of all, it is a direct flight,
so we're gonna fly directly from the airport to the

(01:09:28):
airport and we are there.

Speaker 7 (01:09:29):
Yes, so doing Milwaukee right to Cankuon. Don't't to worry
about it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
That's huge. And then the second thing is is normally
you get to a place, and especially when you're going
to like cancuon in one of these resorts, you then
got to get transportation and either it costs money or
you got to get on a bus with seventy eight
other people you've never met for three hours. For three hours,
it's hot, it feels a little weird, and the whole thing,
you're just like, that's not how this one works. You
have direct transportation for us correct.

Speaker 13 (01:09:54):
Forty five minutes from the airport, no hotel, and you
might be on a bus with seventy eight other p
but it's our people people.

Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
That's what I said. Yeah, I was gonna say.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
I know one thing that when my husband and I travel,
we have this weird thing where we're like, so wait,
we're the grown ups, like we're the adults. He hates
traveling alone because he's so afraid we're going to get lost,
that we're not going to know what we're doing, that
we're not going to know where to go, We're gonna
we're gonna fomo of missing out of something fun because
we're so bad at planning things.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
And this is all taking.

Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
Care of Okay, can't just say one thing if Katie,
because this happened to us one time we went on
a trip to Mexico. Katie had a better room than mine,
and that's all she had. Was bragged the entire time
how much cooler her room was than mine.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
Oh well, we can arrange that again if you get
a trip we can make Oh my god, we had
a nicer room.

Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
Oh my godness, so I actually had mine change. I
went and complained because she bragged so much about her room.
Don't bring mine out. We don't want we put him
on the list of people.

Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
That can't make it. This is not going to pass
the check. So if you want to go with us,
this is going to be such a fun trip. It's
going to be the Planet Holly Adult Team. We're gonna
be in Canned Coon And this is February seventh through
the twelfth with Travel Leaders Discovery Funjet Vacations. You can
link up right now and book your trip at ninety
five to nine kiss FM dot com. Can we take

(01:11:14):
four hundred people? How about? Is there a limit? Do
we need to do this quickly if we want to
get in We.

Speaker 7 (01:11:19):
Have a slight limits that four hundreds. Okay, about one
hundred and thirty years, So yeah, get on it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:24):
So start booking right now. Ninety five nine Kiss FM
do now just a deposit correct?

Speaker 7 (01:11:29):
Yeah, so all you have to do is book and
deposit for now, and your final payment's not due to
like October, oh almost almost November. It's at the end
of October.

Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
Yeah, so easy peasy.

Speaker 7 (01:11:39):
We have a small seven night option too, if anyone
wants to go a little longer.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Oh really yeah, just very tiny, baby one.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
Sure would you go before us and leave after us?
Or would you just leave after us? Or go before us?

Speaker 3 (01:11:49):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
How's that work?

Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
It's a mix.

Speaker 7 (01:11:51):
You go before us a day, oh even after the
big group a day, so you can have a couple
of days yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
I like that. Yeah. And then we're gonna be doing
live broadcasts in there. Yeah we're Are we doing the
show live? Are we hosting games? And party? We're gonna
do a phone party? Do we know we're doing a
phone party?

Speaker 13 (01:12:05):
There will most likely be a party party.

Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
You've never done? What's a phone part? I did a
phone party my first, all inclusive and it was a blast,
like a last Yeah, Elliott, what is it. They fill
a pool up and it's usually one of those massive
pools they fill it up with. I don't know what
it is. I'm sure it's it's just soap toxic.

Speaker 13 (01:12:28):
But they have like a huge blower machine that just
blows foam into the pool.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
For adults. Yeah, yeah, it's the one time where you
feel it's okay to do silly things like be a
kid and run through bubbles because you're like whatever, it's
two in the afternoon and I've had six margaritas. Oh
that's cool or what, that's great? Nothing I want to
do more than lather myself in foam with otis stream

(01:12:56):
big otis.

Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
This just took a turn.

Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
Let's get back to the adult thing.

Speaker 13 (01:13:04):
Oh, thank you for clarifying.

Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
I know what you're getting at too about that time.
But okay, so me and Captain Jack, the police officer,
it said, there's a there's a side were walked up
and you said swingers party and okay, no, this is true. Okay,
so he said, well let's just go look, let's just
go to see what it's like. But it was like
reything to do with this, Yeah you do, you're on
the trip. Yeah, that's what you're saying, but it was

(01:13:30):
like really senior, like eighty year old.

Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
Yeah, so we got hit on by like seventy eight
year old.

Speaker 11 (01:13:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:13:37):
So what he's saying, though, is that you need to
be a part of this trip so you can be
a part of these jokes.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
I'm just saying that that's what you were getting.

Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
These are the stories, Yes, these are the stories that
you will come back with.

Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
Yes, from these, I'm just saying, join us. It's round
trip down with Otis mil Loggia a Canton So Hot,
five Nights, the All Inclusive Planted Hollywood and thereon Motus
February Son Big Boy through the twelve. Is that all

Speaker 4 (01:24:35):

Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
Muscle relaxes. Still is it a muscle relaxer. Not Katie,
we go to you.

Speaker 4 (01:24:47):
I'm gonna say, because this is a ridiculous family feud.

Speaker 1 (01:24:50):
Love love. Yeah, they do have a dumb answer yusually yeah,
is it love?

Speaker 6 (01:24:57):
Not?

Speaker 12 (01:24:57):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
Back to you, Megan, last buzz. Have two answers. This
is where you gotta think. Name something Grandma something in
a minute in grandpa's coffee for his own good, Megan.

Speaker 13 (01:25:10):
Let's double the caffeine.

Speaker 1 (01:25:13):
Oh all right, energy? Yeah, we need an energy. Boot
needs a little pick me up. You know what I'm saying.
Is it an energy boost? It is not.

Speaker 3 (01:25:24):
Lauri.

Speaker 1 (01:25:26):
That is where you can talk. You have one answer
you need to get between the two of you to
steal this. Luri, do you that one? I don't come on, Mino,
Jareditol what's that?

Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:25:36):
What is Jared your poor blood? Don't you remember Jeritle
kind of like that?

Speaker 3 (01:25:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
What would Larry King?

Speaker 3 (01:25:44):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
Yeah? Okay, forget that one. I don't say that one anyway. No,
go ahead, Lauri and Mino. It's gonna be your decision, Laurie. Lauri,
go ahead, name something Grandma might put in for his
own good. This is for the win, Laurie. I'm trying
to think. Sorry yet, any other suggestions? I know, yeah,

(01:26:07):
because I'm gonna need an answer. I don't want to
buzz you on time amphetamines. Would you, you know, if
he's like tired and stuff like that, an upper, Laurie,
I'm gonna have to buzz you if you don't give
somebody an upper. I would at least say a gummy gummy? Okay,
same thing? Is it a gummy? What is it?

Speaker 3 (01:26:28):
Megan?

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
You want the one of your answers to work. Vitamin yeah,
so Jared, Vitamin yeah for iron and creamer slash milk.
Nobody bothered to say creamer or milk? Megan. You think
Grandpa would have done that himself. Come on, I agree?
I agree, Megan. You're gonna go check out do it yourself.
Where's it? Low Wayne Live with special guests Tiger and Bell,

(01:26:52):
Gang Cushington, American Family Insurance, Ampitheater Friday, The twenty Second
Tickets and ticketmaster dot Com. You want them, just hang
on the line, sorry, Laurie. We've had a busy morning.
We did Brewers Burgers, so George Webb gives out free
burgers today, but we don't have George Webbs. Like all
over the valley, you know what. But what we had
was pretty dang good. Well, we had amazing By the way,
I need to thank some folks here because we had

(01:27:15):
All of the meat was donated. Salmon's Meat Products donated basically,
I mean like more than ninety five They don't like
one hundred and sum boxes of their Ebert grown beef patties,
so all fantastic. All the beef is born, raised and
harvested at the Ebert family farm in al Goma. And
you can actually get Eber grown products at Salmon's Meat

(01:27:36):
Products where they've got, of course all of your sausage
and venison shopped ten pound boxes of their wieners. Those
are award winning and the ebergrown beef patties for your
backyard cookouts, you can get them at Salmon's Meat Products
dot com. But I just sort of thank them because
it wasn't just the donation. It was how this all happened.
This all unfolded yesterday afternoon as the Brewers won their

(01:27:56):
twelfth At what time did that game finish? Like three
forty five, four o'clock something like that, And so all
of a sudden, phone calls are being made and you've
got end of the day, you know, businesses that are
basically ready to close down. And no, we've got the
folks from Salmon's and Eberts are literally hauling away a
giant cooler full of their beef and driving it over

(01:28:17):
to meet us. And I think Dan, one of our
sales guys, meet us at the Green Bay studio, so
I could get that, put it in the cooler and
bring it here today. So thank you. And I mean,
I'm not joking about that.

Speaker 5 (01:28:27):
That was like just so you know, it's like when
those hamburgers, you don't need to put anything on that
literally tastes so good.

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
I just had a burger, cheese and a bun and
it was one of the best burgers I've ever had
on the Black So I want to thank Brody for cooking. Yep.
Did some pocket pancakes Those look a little crisp, Yeah, yeah,
but the burgers were phenomenal. And then right in the
middle of all of that with the Brewers Burgers, we

(01:28:52):
have found out where we're going on our big trip.
So this is the passport to Paradise. It is official.
We've teamed up with travel leaders Discovery and Fungjet vacations.
We are going to Can Coon. We're gonna be staying
at Planet Hollywood Adults Scene, thirteen restaurants, fourteen bars, Lazy River,
four swimming pools. We're going February seventh through the twelfth.

(01:29:13):
You can book your trip right now. The price includes
everything transportation. It's a direct flight from Milwaukee right to
Canned Coon. And then you don't have to worry about
finding transportation to the resort. We've got that covered for
you too. I she said, like at the most forty
five minutes. Yeah, versus we've talked about the place where
it's like three hours. Well, and you got to wait,
and then you don't know if you're getting scammed. They

(01:29:34):
always warn you when you get to some of these places,
be careful. People are going to offer you a trip
to the resort and they're gonna end up charging you
an exhorbitant amount because that's what they do. And so
you don't have to worry about any of that. We're
all traveling as a group. But then once you get there,
you can kind of do what you want. If you
want to come to the live broadcasts, Katie Nick and
myself will be doing in the morning. You can do
that if you want to go. They've got a nine

(01:29:56):
nine hole mini golf course. They've got disco and daily
and nightly in her attainment, sports fitness activities, the water park.
There's a spa and beauty bar. They've got all. Of course,
it's planning in Hollywood, so all that Hollywood memorabilia they've got,
you know, all the different facilities, all entertainment themed. It's
just awesome. Okay, did I miss hear you? You don't

(01:30:16):
take luggage or something, so I don't check bags when
I travel. No, my mom was a chargeo's carry on.
My mom was a travel agent, and this was before
we had the restrictions we have now, and she just
taught me years ago you really don't need to check
a bag. And I know there's gonna be some arguments
from people right now that I'll say, yes I do
because of this, this and this, But do you have to?

(01:30:38):
I mean, you can pack enough in one That was
my mom's thing. Are you that personal than that?

Speaker 5 (01:30:42):
Your bag is like, you're so big and you're trying
to stuff it in the overhead.

Speaker 1 (01:30:46):
I have your standard carry on so that you know
that they allow those bigger carry ons now than they
used to. So I have that standard carry on, and
then I do because I have a sleep apney machine,
I have the benefit of being able to slide a
few things in there, because that's a meta okay. But
for the most part, every well not for the most part,
everything I take, no matter where we're going or how

(01:31:06):
long fits in the in the carry on, Okay, all right,
it just saves time, I believe it. So you'll hear
me when we get to Cancun. I'll be the one
whining that we have to wait for you and all
your stupid bags. Such a great host because you all
did what I did. We would land and immediately get
on the bus. But no, we're gonna have to wait
for you and all your bags. A crap you had

(01:31:28):
to bring.

Speaker 5 (01:31:29):
I am with you in that kind of little too, Yes,
because I've done the trips before and some people take
so much stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:31:34):
And five days people, it's really if you think about it,
you really the outfit you're wearing that day you could
wear home. I agree, So you really don't need all
those outfits. You need one nice outfit for the fancier
restaurant if you want to do that. How many swimming
suits do you really need Okay, I'm with you. What
do you need room for in your carry on? You
need room for eighties? Yeah, sorry about that. You need

(01:31:56):
room for eighty six pairs of underwear because you know
you're gonna crap your sign every day.

Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
I know. I've seen it with people too. They take
so much stuff in those trips. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
We want to see you February seventh through the twelfth.
It's Travel Leaders, Discovery, Fun Jet Vacations. We're headed the
Kancun Planet, Hollywood Book and get the details at ninety
five nine KISSFM dot com. Ladies and gentlemen. Your Green
Bay Blizzard off to the IFL Championship. Ryan's here. We're
going to talk football next on Kiss Ladies and gentlemen,
It is happening. Your Green baye Blizzard headed to the

(01:32:28):
twenty twenty five IFL National Championship game coming up in Tucson, Arizona.
August twenty third, Ladies and gentlemen, Ryan from your Green
Bay Blizzard. Congratulation. Did you I mean we were growing
burgers for you? Yes, those burgers, Blizzard burgers, Blizzard Burgers.
We've been talking about it all morning that we were

(01:32:49):
doing Blizzard Burgers. John Mino is in for Nick. Nick
was so happy about this win that he went off
on vacation to celebrate. No, I mean that's what you
do when you win, you go on a vacation. Yep.
And so Mino sitting in today. Seriously, though, this has
been such an amazing process to watch. You guys have
gotten close. You've really had some great seasons. This one started,

(01:33:12):
let's be honest, not that great. And when we started
the season, I remember there was a lot of oh okay, yeah,
but man, you guys at home have just dominated the fans,
the home team's support, and now the championship game, you're
one win away.

Speaker 8 (01:33:28):
Yeah, And I asked Steph if I come on today.
First of all, thank you guys and everybody listening for
coming out, because the boz Are were eight and one
at home at the rest this year. If you can
win half your season at home, you should be a
playoff team every year. So huge shout out to the
entire radio family here. You guys have caught her next door.

(01:33:49):
Great season and.

Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
All the people, I think so about all the people that.

Speaker 8 (01:33:54):
Came out too, because we set attendance records for our
season and again eight and one at home. The one
was in the last three seconds, should be nine and
zero at home is pretty incredible at the rush.

Speaker 1 (01:34:04):
So you know, I still think it's really cool.

Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
You are talking, you're off Ara, but you know, you
get these quarterbacks from Whitewater, you know, yeah, kids from Wisconsin. Yes,
and winning the nash Ball not putting it yet, but
I mean going to the national championship.

Speaker 1 (01:34:15):
But I just think that's really cool. Yeah, it's awesome.

Speaker 8 (01:34:17):
We've in a great streak of that between Matt Barron,
who's our offensive coordinator and now Max who is the
current quarterback in theory soon to be MVP. We'll see
how that shakes out. But really, really, really awesome run.
And my ask to come on today was to thank
you guys, because it's not possible without people who listen
coming out and you guys supporting us on air like

(01:34:38):
you do.

Speaker 1 (01:34:38):
So, but let me can I just switch that thanks
around them because not everybody understands the importance of live
local radio, and I think you guys do, and there's
a lot of folks in Northeast Wisconsin who do. So
thank you for supporting us, Thank you for for coming
when you know we took a little bit of a chance,
not knowing exactly what happened. We appreciate that you came
over and joined the party with us. Thank you very much.

(01:35:01):
And just let's I think we got to say thank
you to the Green Bay Blizzard the team. I mean,
you guys have done it. Yeah, this is incredible, these
young fellas. I mean, look at what they did.

Speaker 8 (01:35:11):
Yeah, number one offense in the league you want, and
in our football when you put sixty points up in
a blink of an eye is pretty crazy. It'll be
a heck of a game next Saturday. We've never played
Vegas since they've been a team. I think that's accurate
because they're of new franchises of three years and haven't
played them this year, So this will be a good game.

Speaker 5 (01:35:31):
So yeah, well, you never talk about you like way
back when it first started up the Bombers, the Green
Bay Bombers in the mid nineties. You know, those are
guys that only knew eleven man football and they had
to try to adapt to that game. Now, the league
and the sport itself has become so mainstream that these
guys in college kind of gear themselves to playing arena football.

Speaker 1 (01:35:51):
Correct, well, you know what I mean, where the learning
curve is that what it used to be.

Speaker 8 (01:35:55):
Yeah, they may realize that that may need to be
their NFL until they get a look from the CFL
or NFL. Else We get a lot of high caliber
athletes and this will be this will be a first
time in IFL history that the Blizzard our Eastern Conference
champs and getting the chance to compete for a title here.
So back in two thousand and six in a different league,
they did play in a championship game that was pre IFL.

Speaker 1 (01:36:15):
Right, now, do you see do you guys know when
somebody is giving them a look when there's scouts, when
there's like did they give you a heads up or
do you just kind of notice it or how's that
working coach will know?

Speaker 8 (01:36:27):
And we I mean, our kicker didn't kick for us
one or two games this year because he got a
chance to go kick in the CFL and try out there,
fortunately for us, and we always want it. We want
our players up and out. That's why teams like this
exist get those guys signed elsewhere. Of course, very fortunate
that he kicks for us, because at that Quad Cities
game he accounted for fifteen plus points by himself and

(01:36:47):
the turnover he belongs in the NFL, so yes, we
have some.

Speaker 1 (01:36:52):
Still says yeah, yeah, he has make it in the pros.

Speaker 5 (01:36:56):
Was playing arena football, yes, yeah, because the recognition on
defense you have to make the decision and so yeah,
that's what's.

Speaker 1 (01:37:04):
So crazy is watching a game. And again from a
not as big of a sports guy, but when I
watch those games, I'm like, oh my god, this is
so much quicker. It is all so much faster, and
then not only that it's happening right if from the
spectator's point of view in your lap, like it's literally yeah,
it's just wild. Yeah, it's something else.

Speaker 8 (01:37:23):
And it has been high quality football and we were
talking about before he came on air too, just on
top of all the entertainment this year, and it's been
a perfect storm.

Speaker 1 (01:37:32):
But that's kind of the thing is, you know, one
of the things that you guys do well, and and
you've shouted out the other local teams too, they all
do a very good job at the Blizzard and the
Tipper Rattlers and I'm sure the Dock Spiders and everybody
they do this good job of making this entertainment happen.
Between things on the field and but then also at

(01:37:53):
the same time having really good quality play. And that's
a hard line to be able to walk, and you
guys do it very well, and you have no in
my job, you have no control over that, right.

Speaker 8 (01:38:02):
That is the other half of the house with coach
Roberson and they you have to put on a good
production regardless of what the score is, right, because you
want people to come back. And it's just the past,
call it three years. The football has been incredible and
I don't expect it to go anywhere.

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
So and guys got to be excited to play in
Green Bay, aren't they.

Speaker 8 (01:38:21):
Niver currently the only IFL team with the pro team
directly across.

Speaker 1 (01:38:25):
The streets, so it's cool. Yeah, and you get shout out,
So I see the Packers giving you guys some love.

Speaker 5 (01:38:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
They did during the playoff runt too, which was awesome,
So I love that. Yeah, congratulations your Green Bay Blizzard.
They're IFL Eastern Conference champions. And now the big game,
the big bands, the IFL National Championship Game is coming
up on the twenty third. That's gonna be a late
game for us.

Speaker 8 (01:38:45):
Yeah, nine thirty, and that's the Arizona time difference there,
so you can stream that on CBS Sports Network or
there are probably forty seats left. We have two screens
at Marcus Theaters East. Yeah, we are showing it on
the big screen. Marcus is a sponsor and we are
gonna take up two screens so far.

Speaker 1 (01:39:05):
So Marcus East is open because Melinda and I drove
by and it felt like it was like a one
and two o'clock in the afternoon kind of thing the
other day, and showtimes they really depending on.

Speaker 8 (01:39:15):
Ye okay, So Marcus East a lot of our sports
bar partners because there's a Packer preseason game earlier in
the day that one, and everything we do is around
the Lambeau area. It just would have been chaos for
fans and asking him to give up a TV to
stream the game, even though it's a big deal. So
it is at Marcus East and there is maybe forty
seats left of a.

Speaker 1 (01:39:34):
Three hundred person set inventory so far. And you probably
don't know this, and maybe it goes like, I don't
know if you guys have sponsorship deals worked out with folks,
but do you know if they still do it? I
know sometimes you would be able to watch certain games
over at like stadium view or Hussies at the bar,
and then sometimes you could watch them a like replay.
Do you know if anybody's allowed to or are they
doing that?

Speaker 3 (01:39:53):
No, we know.

Speaker 1 (01:39:53):
We'll ping them all and give them a streaming information.
You're you're right.

Speaker 8 (01:39:57):
We would normally host view parties at all those establishment.
You just listen help feed our team. So we try
and bang our fans there. It's just the Packer game.

Speaker 1 (01:40:05):
It does kind of it's nuts, yes, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:40:09):
You know, and I will say whatever happens, it's I mean,
it's it's been an amazing season.

Speaker 1 (01:40:14):
We were there last year. Yeah that hurt.

Speaker 8 (01:40:16):
Yeah, and you guys, I don't know how much time
I have, but I almost I didn't almost go to
Quad Cities because we're all friends here because I remember
how fout last year, so I didn't want to feel
that again. And my daughter, who had more wisdom than
me in the moment, was like, they're going to win
or lose whether you go or not.

Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
I want to be there. Wow.

Speaker 8 (01:40:33):
So I went, and again this is why I don't
watch the games, because I'm get to be responsible for
all the theatrics and the cool stuff. We do in
the rest, Like I felt like I was gonna throw
up like five times. That game was whoever had the
ball last was going to win, and it was I
was pacing my wife's like go away, but yeah it was.
And actually Larry, the husband half of the ownership group,

(01:40:56):
was like, it's actually good for me because you're so stressed.

Speaker 1 (01:41:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:41:00):
So yes, But if you want to spend if you're
a sports fan and spend ten bucks on the IFL
network to watch some of the Blizzard season and last
week's game. Last week's game is one of the best
in their football games I've ever seen. It was hostile
in quad Cities six thousand plus. You could not hear
everything anything like the energy nuts.

Speaker 1 (01:41:20):
And last year, I'm still that was one of the best.

Speaker 4 (01:41:23):
My Facebook memory came up and Brody and his buddy
we took Brody and his buddies. That energy was so
insane at that game, and I think that that's why
it hurt so much, Like and that's that's just a
kudos to again the organization. You guys came back, he
came back better, and it's it's been a successful season
no matter what happens next week.

Speaker 1 (01:41:41):
So you've got to deliver that hurt to another city.
And there's something that's kind of fun.

Speaker 8 (01:41:46):
It's tough, and I've gotten you know you guys as friends,
not just a radio partner like Quad Cities is so
much like the Blizzard and the way they entertain and
it's an organization where I have very good friends and
I have known my whole career, so to ever say
the cliche, Hey, I've gone through it, but the consults
somebody in that moment we had right so as hug
it out with the other coach and my counterpart there,
Like I had to do that last year. I had

(01:42:07):
to put the name on Smart on that trophy in
my building and hand it to the other team.

Speaker 5 (01:42:11):
Hey, I gotta give guys credit though, how they can
hold their temper or whatever. Yeah, fans are like meeting
you away, just calling them every game and.

Speaker 1 (01:42:19):
Got really really hostile. Yeah yeah, well guys. The championship
game Saturday, the twenty third, It is the Blizzard twenty
twenty five IFL National Championship Game, happening from Tucson nine
to thirty start our time. There are a few seats
left a Green Bay East otherwise I'm sure you're gonna
find it around here the IFL network if you wanted

(01:42:41):
to get in with that, cbscor Sports Network. Really appreciate
you guys and your partnership. Brian, Congratulations. Enjoy this moment
because you guys earned it, you want it, and I
know there's another game to go, but enjoy this a
little bit and then let's get out there and let's
bring that that championship trophy. Appreciate you guys. So congratulations
day Blizzard, Kiss FM, Chavelone, Pig Pony Club ninety five nine,

(01:43:04):
Kiss FM Morning, Toti's Kitty and Nick. Nick is gone,
He'll be back on Monday. Mino is filling in with
Katie today Tomorrow Katie is gone Mino and promo NICKI promo, Nicky.
May you know what reappearance? You guys spent some time
together on a program and now you'll be together on
Kiss and then I'm really excited about this. Am I wrong?
Is this the first time on Monday? Will this be

(01:43:25):
the first time you and Nick have been on a
radio show together for more than maybe five minutes?

Speaker 7 (01:43:30):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (01:43:30):
Very sad? And how many years? How many years has
it been? Twenty twelve? So for those of you who
don't know, and we have to remember there's a lot
of Kiss listeners that would have no idea. You and
Mino did a show together for you and Mino, So
you and Nick did a show together for many, many years,
ten years probably, Yep. Yeah, it was one of the
most fun shows.

Speaker 5 (01:43:49):
I will say this. It was the most loyal fan base.
I mean people, have you see my Facebook? All the
flying Monkeys as we used to call them, Ye are
coming back. They were so loyal to that show. They
were It was crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:44:00):
It's a It was a show of we have like
we love all of our Texters. We have certain Texters
that really get it and are Joe Yes, fourth members
of the show.

Speaker 1 (01:44:11):
They got it.

Speaker 4 (01:44:12):
Yes, And you guys had thirty members of the show
that would call.

Speaker 1 (01:44:17):
In every day. Yes, they were made so.

Speaker 4 (01:44:20):
Fun and we're actually Mine and I were talking off
air that he may be coming in with me and Nick.

Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
Oh, oh, I love this idea. This is a great idea.
Who's running the board?

Speaker 3 (01:44:30):
Nick?

Speaker 1 (01:44:30):
Nick? Yes, I am Oh, this will be exciting.

Speaker 4 (01:44:32):
I all this so yeah, I'm I'm There's another thing
too that I don't think you guys have put together
yet about what's going to happen tomorrow, and I'm very
excited for that.

Speaker 1 (01:44:43):
Rob's coming in. Oh my god, Rob's coming in from
the timber Ratlers because Hillary is on maternity lite. Yes's
husband Okay, okay, so I'm very excited for you.

Speaker 4 (01:44:55):
Go on, so promo Nicky what do we call him?
Mister Nicky? Mister it's going to be in here as well.

Speaker 1 (01:45:04):
I don't know were we supposed to share all that.
I don't even know. You know what, you know what?

Speaker 5 (01:45:07):
You know what we used to have in our studio
that last station I worked for a Nikki bobblehead.

Speaker 1 (01:45:11):
Yes, well, I think we gave that to you, did you? Well,
that was ours and we gave it to Nikki, and
I think she brought it into Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:45:19):
Maybe you could back me up on this memory. I
have a vivid memory of her and she goes, it
was not me, it was not me. We were doing
the Brett Farves softball game, okay. And the first time
I met her, she was wearing these adorable flip flops
and her toes were done okay, and I that's when
I started getting pedicures because I was like, she's so cool, Okay,
like I want to get petticures, like she does not

(01:45:41):
get her petticures, and I just feel like I felt
like you.

Speaker 1 (01:45:43):
And Murph commented on, like she's got it together, like
I don't remember her toes, don't don't. I do not
remember her toes. I'll be honest. We don't look at
toes very often at all. We always say, when you
guys get your toes done, you're doing that for other women. Well, yeah,
totally that and and most of the other stuff you're doing,
like makeup. It's my wife will do her makeup, and

(01:46:06):
I don't have a clue she's done something different.

Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
Do you love it?

Speaker 1 (01:46:08):
I don't. I would get a pedicure. I think on
