Kit and the Mystical Forest (spoken as Kit and the Mystic Forest) is a fairytale adventure series telling the story of a young girl named Kit Woods whose mother suddenly and inexplicably becomes gravely ill with a strange affliction that hardens her skin, changing her into an inert, inhuman husk. Her father, who finds the illness familiar, rushes off to a mysterious Forest to obtain the cure; however, after a long, long, very long time, only his horse returns home. It is now up to Kit to save her mother and find her lost father. We call it A Micraural Odyssey, a made-up phrase that means small(micro) sound(aural) adventure. Each episode is relatively short (1 ½ to 3 ½ minutes on average) and contains at least one unique song, making the series feel more like a strange concept album than a straightforward audio drama. Please enjoy it!
