Speaker 2 (00:47):
Afternoon, I'll tell you what. It's a It's just another
blessed best data to be here with. What's so? What's
so thankful that God has allowed us to to go
fishing for souls again on this Sunday, you know, and
this is being being this Women's month. You know, we're
gonna we're gonna be able to just acknowledge how how
(01:09):
thankful we are for the women that we know. And
and I got special guests on uh, basically she has
them as been had us since two thousand and in seventeen,
but still moved around, still positive, and we're just gonna
celebrate how God is continuing to bless us. And you know,
(01:32):
it's always a blessing to uh to have my brother
Bruce and and and TJ on because you know, they
they are they're they're so sold out for Genius Class.
They're so sold out and they continue to to make
sure that their lights shine so they can actually tell
people about Jesus and they get they get an opportunity
(01:52):
here to to really talk about Jesus when they come
on the podcast. You get a chance to fill their spirits.
And that's what we want to do today. We want
you to feel that without serious how how much we're
in love with the.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Lad you know.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
And again uh uh Bruce and t J. I just
want to want to thank both of you for for
being on board again. And you know, we don't get
we don't get studied until we until we get do
our baby boy. It's it's always a pleasing to do
the baby boy story because the baby boy is Boots
and Pistilla and Tim and myself. That's our baby brother.
(02:28):
And and so we we we try to entertain y'all
at the beginning because we get real serious when we
start talking about Jesus Christ, you know, and and the
baby boy sto is for those who how many didn't
get a chance to listening last week, well, well last
week baby boy was kid. He had escaped home. He
escaped from his home, Uh, through the garage and and Pam,
(02:52):
you know, I like to said a full name, Pam
Born and my sister in law, we had to go
look for a baby boy. We found we found him
and we found him. And you know, when he was
a little boy, a little baby always loved a chicken box.
And so we we we decided that we would go
look for him at that and at the chicken place.
(03:12):
So we went to all the different chicken places that
we could look for and uh, and we found and
found him. And when we found him, he was he
was at the chicken place. I think it was Churches, Chicken, Popeye, shit,
one of those chicken places.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
And uh.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
But the only way we was able to recognize that
it was baby boy was there because we saw his
big wheel. His big wheel was was parked outside the
chicken place and it was right next to a toaster.
And so we just had the had baby boy's big
wheel told home. And so when Bige, when the baby
boy saw that his his his big will was being
(03:50):
told he came running out with his ham and all
and stuff, and and I just had to tap him up.
My little brother. I tackled doctor baby boy, and I
had some zip locked, so I zipped locked his eggs
and in his hands and and uh we threw in
the back of the car and so uh pound. She
took him home and and so I power my sistant law.
And that's when we're gonna pick up.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Now.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
I called up and I was like, uh paum boys,
And I said, how how is a doctor baby boar door?
He said, boom ber, he said. I had him to
crawl up in his high seat. And when he crawled
up in his high steat, I had some some some
some some some crush carriage and some crushed beans, and
(04:30):
and he was eating a little on that. And then
he asked for another chicken bone. I told he couldn't.
And then what I had to do for him is
I had to let him know that he could no
longer go outside and play. You know, he's under the
house of the rest, but they let him out like
a couple of hours a day. He get a chance
to go out and in the backyard on the merry
Go Round, Merry Go round and he got jungle gym
all in the backyard and he couldn't he could, he could,
(04:53):
he could go outside and play, but but my sister
Law told him that he could no longer play in
the in the backyard until he promised but not try
to break out again. And so baby boy said he
was gonna stay, he was gonna stay safe at home.
And so I'm gonna I'm gonna take back in with
Meson Law to see if he's been obedient, because I
(05:17):
don't want to have to blow that whistle because when
he blows the whistle, he stops and does nothing else
but listen to him. Just say yes, ma'am. We're gonna
take on the baby doctor baby boy next week. But
this week we just we just so thankful again for
my brother Bruce. Thank you, brother Bruce for being on board. Uh,
thank you TJ for being on board. And uh, we
just don't we're gonna get this since things started, because
(05:39):
I want to. I want to first because you talking
about Women's Day and when you think, well, for me,
I always think about mothers because mothers make such a
great impact on your children's ribs. I know Bruce and
TJ can attached to that because I know the impact
that my mom made on on our lives, and so
(06:01):
I just want to read this particular poem and then
Bruis and teacher can can reflect back on last week
and then also they can actually respond say anything they
want about the poem before we.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Bring on the guess.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
This title respect your mother, and this poem is in
the books. You should know the respect your mother. When
a kid has respect for his mother, he usually has
respect for himself and others. When a child respects his mother,
he usually will think twice before he gets into trouble.
(06:37):
When the chiwld respects his mother, he usually will stay
out of trouble for he doesn't want to worry or
bring shame to his mother. Does the need to bring
back respect to the woman if we want our children
to stay out of trouble, respect your mother and every
race a woman. You know, my mom, he keep.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
That for us.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
She may understand about respecting women and just being women's
women's mond. I think every child should have respect for
the mother, but I think every child should have respect
for a woman. And so uh, Bruce and TJ, I'm
gonna let you go. Respect on last week TJ. Yes,
then you can talk about the PM whatever you want
(07:23):
to do, because this is not my podcast. You know,
this is Jesus Christ Podcast, but we go every summer,
so it's on you, not TJ.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
All Right, Okay, good afternoon everyone. Look as always, I
want to you've told out of the the recognition that
we should always give him because he's he's the one
that's keeping this program together. He's keeping us all together
and we all don't want to call it so h
good shout out for you told I Valerie. We want
to thank you again for keeping us out in this broadcast.
(07:54):
Mood and Bruce, I'm pretty sure you're there, and I
will thank you for being here, helping me to have
Tolar spread the word our Lord and saving Jesus Christ. Now,
last week's last week's testimony, it touched me. It touched
me dearly because it came from a from a good friend,
(08:15):
doctor j R. Williams. He's been a friend for a
number of years and we've shared we've shared several testimonies before. However,
this one, this was a very personal one and it
was actually telling us about some medical difficulties that I
wasn't aware of that I'm not sure if anyone else
(08:37):
was aware of, but he wanted us to know that
I wanted to be no, let them know that how much,
just how much Jesus Christ means to me. God about
me a very long way. And while I've traveled this
(08:59):
long way, I'm writing a book and it's going to
show in details what I actually went through for about
well for a number of months. And he was really
talking about what his wife was meaning to him in
(09:22):
the last thirty seven years. He said that they have
a story holiday we had. We had a family dinner
doing Thanksgiving, but around for him. I think that's when
he got sick and he was rushed to the rush
(09:44):
to the doctor, washed rush to the hospital, and he
said he knew that this might be his last few days.
But thank you Jesus, I met it. I made it through,
Thanks to God. I was blessed. God bought me through it.
(10:04):
And for ten days it was really, really, really hectic.
He was full of medication, but he said, my wife
never left my bed. God protected me. He said he
protected him so much that he'd lost about thirty five pounds.
(10:26):
He said he wanted to lose some weight, but he
didn't want to lose it like that, but God's He
said that God wants me to tell you. He wants
me to tell you. He how he he wanted you
to tell He wanted me to tell you about my
story that I am in no more pain. Therapy went well,
(10:55):
he said. He fell down doing therapy a few times.
He said he felt as I was falling, God was
the one that was really protecting me. He said, You've
got to always trust in the Lord. And one of
the shower, he said, one of the tests that he
took was they called, he calls it the shower test,
(11:17):
and he said that was the first time he was
able to stand up in a shower and actually take
a shower since he had had his surgery and he
was going through these different medical procedures. He said, he
didn't pass the test though, but finally on Christmas he
(11:37):
was able to do that. He was able to pass
that shower test. God is good, My God is so good.
He wanted me to tell the world, so put the
put the pacers, put the He wanted me to tell
the world how the paces of the pieces were put together.
(11:59):
He said. One thing. Though he's skinny now, he said,
and I don't plan on gaining He said, he think
he'd lost about thirty five, thirty thirty five or forty pounds. See,
don't praying on gaining it back. But then again he
went back to my wife is my life. She was one.
(12:22):
She was one. They have to bring me back from
this surgery and from this medical problem that I had.
He had a kidney problem. And he said that he
was going to write his book, and the name of
the book he thought would be something like from Floor
to Glory. Actually, what Jr. Was doing he was letting
(12:45):
us know that, hey, I want you to believe me.
You can always trust in the Lord, regardless of what
your situations might be. You may be having some major
medical conditions. In doctor Jesus is one that you would
want one to be making sure that you're going to
(13:05):
be all right. He said he couldn't stop talking about
his wife. How she was with him the whole time,
he thought, and he knew that without her he might
not have made it. But he said, with her being there,
he felt so much stronger. So God has said, has
(13:28):
has given j R. A couple of things. He gave
him his health back, and he made him a word
that he can't be. He can't be in this world
without his wife by his side. And he wanted the
world to know this, and he said it over and
over and over again. If there's anything, any type of
(13:51):
situations that you might have that you are dealing with,
he would want you to put your trust in the Lord,
put all of your faith in life Lord Jesus Christ.
He's the one. And he constantly said that over and
over again. He is the one. Christ is the one
that we want to depend on. He's the one that
(14:12):
we can depend on. He's the one that we can
believe in. I just I was so touched and I
can't continue to say this without bringing out my box
of clinics like I'll probably end up having to do.
But look, JR. He gave us a testimony, and we
(14:33):
didn't I didn't expect that testimony at all, but I
did know this to be when it was coming from JR.
Or in that particular time he meant this. He said it,
he said, look, I trusted the Lord. I put all
my faith in my Lord, and save to Jesus Christ.
And if you don't think it'll work, give him a try.
(14:57):
And you know what, he can't have said it other
than that. Give the Lord and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ,
give him the try, give him a try. He's the
one that died for our sins. He's the one that
raised on the third day, he came alive. He came
up and he told us, look, I have died for
all of your sins. TJ. There's nothing that you have
(15:20):
to be concerned about. Now. All you need to do
is just trust in me and let the world know
that you trust in me. And I do. I try
to let the world know that try. I give all
of my I have all of my faith in my
Lord and saving Jesus Christ. Thank you Heavenly Father, and Amen.
Thank you so very very much. And Jay, I hope you,
(15:45):
I hope you get an opportunity to come back and
talk with us again, because man, you you really let
us have it last week. I already did appreciate that.
Thanks again, Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Bruce, Okay, appreciate that. TJ.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
Yes, sir, well and always thankful to be on the podcast.
And and uh left the name of Jesus Christ, God
is my my everything. Appreciate told us a baby boy
story about about Harry.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
I want I want to mention about Pam though his
wife just old woman. And and I've seen when Pam speaks,
Harry stands with attention, almost robotic life, waiting to hear
up the control that that town has over Harry. So
(16:36):
but but yeah, he's a good woman. Thank you, thank you,
the praise, praise the Lord boy him and and their relationship.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Last week, uh pull did another one of the pins.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
It's always a blessing to hear them before you cover me.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
When should you know?
Speaker 6 (17:03):
Which is until giving the individual of flowers while the
you know, uh, acknowledge your love for others while they're
in your life. I would have to make reference to
a scripture during the podcast here he was three thirteen
encouraged one another daily as long as it is called today,
(17:30):
so that nine of you may be hardened by things deceitfulness,
uh jr. I won't doing great detail the TV been
announced any a job explaining that the.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Tea h Jr.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
I had gone through and the health challenges that he had,
but definitely want to mention that he said when he
was going through these things, when he was in the hospital,
he was to me, he was in the hospital like
ten ten days. He said, thank you Jesus when he
was on a stretcher and he speak, I recall him
to him, he said it is low, but he he
(18:08):
had enough of strength to say, thank you Jesus. He
wasn't a complaint about the situation that he was. He
was saying, he said, woe's me. Wise is ocurring to me.
He acknowledged Jesus in his way, and he talked about
it for a different diagnosis, each each one of them individually,
(18:28):
they could have been failed, but he helped about it.
He has made it through that that he's almost one
hundred percent and he's back back working. And as DJ mentioned,
he talked about it is a good thing in his
(18:48):
life and that good thing is his wife because proverb
eighteen twenty two says he who finds a wife finds
a good thing and obtains favor from the law. And
I'm I'm sure that his wife had such a m
impact in some recovery from this. And you can tell
(19:11):
with him being on the podcast that he had gone
to these challenges. But he felt like he had been
on the podcast a couple of times prior to last week,
and fell just was saying, let me tell us the
strength was good voice was good. And that's the power.
That's the power of our heavenly father. And as we
(19:35):
always say, that's when someone comes on this podcast, we
know the things that they've gone through has been challenging,
has been difficult, but it's always going to be that
about their health.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Jesus Christ.
Speaker 6 (19:52):
And that's what he was saying. And it would really
emphasize again the support that he had in his like
what his wife. So we need each other, so we
always need to don't just try to go on along.
(20:12):
I mean from a male perspective, find yourself a good,
good woman in your life. And and I know this
is uh women's mind. And I appreciate and told us
stating that and so and the poem that you uh
respect your mother and so I mean, you can't be
going around not respecting women. I mean think if that
(20:38):
was your mother, that would you disrespect your mother? If
you disrespect your mother, there's there's a real issue, uh
there with your priorities. So and and do you really
have a relationship with Jesus Christ. And that's what when
it bails down to our relationship, uh with Jesus Christ.
(21:00):
So you do not respecting women? So how you you
know you're possibly not going to respect others. So I
appreciate again, told her mentioned that about that this thing
women's mind, and the poem respects your mother, so that
to seeing God's will, that's what we need to do,
so appreciate it. Told her look forward to the podcast today.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Thanks, thanks brother Bruce and TZ. You know the bruising
Bruis and TJ make my job easy because those those
cause they study those, they are dot and they taking
those They all like I do is go and do
what I do. This that just runs my mouth. They
make it easy. They make it easy. But but you
know the thing with the reason why they make it
(21:45):
easy because of the fact that they gonna talk about
the law, just like I'm gonna talk about the laws.
That's what makes it so. That's what makes it easy
because they speaking from their heart, you know, and God
lives within the heart. You know, He's in your heart.
And and every time in TJ talk, man, that's just
it's just it's just a soothing, uh, soothing to my
(22:05):
spirits to hear them just be so exciting. You can
hear them passion, you hear it. That's why I want
my listening to artists all over the world and know
that if you come to listen to us, you're just
gonna listen to Jesus Christ. So that's what we're gonna
be talking about. You're gonna be talking to us, you know,
and that's the blessing, you know. And then then this
is a women's month, you know. I was I was
asking the Lord, O Lord, you know, and I pull
(22:27):
I'm on call, you know who who you want me
to look? Then I thought about I thought about Sister
Catholic Captain Jeffrey. He did had he didn't have she
didn't have m NS since twenty seventeen. I've been knowing
a lot a lot longer than that, and always smiling,
always never complaining. It's just always been so positive and
(22:51):
and so God had me to bring her on, you know.
I called her just just yesterday, you know, and said, hey,
you know, Lord something the Lord He's right on time,
but he I mean you a little pressure like where
you go out. And so I just want y'all to
know that that she has the support of her husband,
you know, with with we're not having an EMN since
twenty and seventeen and her husband is still out, you know,
(23:15):
take us to appointments or just just.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Just being there.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
I mean, and so, sister, sister Jeffer, you there, you can,
I'll tell you what. I'm so glad that you're here. First,
First of all, I just want to tell you that
we appreciate you so much, uh, coming on her and
and and you being able to let us know how
(23:41):
good God has been to you, because I already know,
but for you to for me every time I see
you in a positive move, it's got to be God. So,
so what I want to do. I want to open
up by saying, where did this inner strength come from?
Speaker 1 (23:54):
With you?
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Uh? Depending on God? How did this happen? I mean,
what somebody if somebody made an impact on your life
with Jesus Christ.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Yes, my booth, my parents, my mother and my father,
they both had a great impact on me knowing the
Lord because they took they would take us to church
every Sunday. And and also I had uh my grandparents
they were there too, you know. So what they did
they passed it. They passed everything down to the next generation.
(24:27):
So I'm getting out getting this passed down to me
from my parents.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
You know, Sister jeff I'm so glad you said that
because Bruce and Teaching and myself that we've been talking
about this from the from the start of this podcast,
we got we should tell people about introducing their children
to Jesus Christ because no one knows what what's gonna
happen to them before they leave this earth. But but,
(24:54):
but you happened with your parents, should too had a
relationship with Jesus Christ, and so you able to to
continue to.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Move move forward.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Now, how did you really ask when you when you
found out that you have him? Ask what was going
on in your mind? You when you fussing at God,
when you angry with God, talk to me and talk
to us a little bit.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Okay, I wasn't angry at God. I just I was
just wondering how did I come up with it? Since
I know that this wasn't something that ran to my
friend and my family. My mother had diabetes and and
uh a couple of times the doctors that asked me
to do I have diabetes? So right now I don't
have any diabetas. So I was wondering how did I
(25:36):
come up with MS? And when it didn't run through
my family, I was a little little bit unhappy because
all the things I used to can do. I can't
do that. I can't do the same stuff like you
like I used to.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
MM, but no, no, go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
I'm just glad that God is still is here and
getting me through this because I know if it wasn't
for the Lord, I will not be as patient or positive.
Speaker 6 (26:08):
As I am.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
But when think about what other people go through, then
I know this is not so non advantaged what he
could have been.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
You know.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
You know, I'm so glad that you said that, because
sometimes people people get angry with God because something comes up.
But her is now you.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
You're on the.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Podcast as a testimony to her to knowing that God
can can help you through anything. And and I know
that your husband has been a support.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Dwight.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
How much has it meant for you to have your
husband as your support?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
It means a lot to me because I know that
he's he has he has been done. It was good
training with his family, his family, his family brought them up,
uh and being a young Christian Christian young man. So
I can look back at him and say, hey, he
reminds me of so much of my parents, you know,
(27:06):
because my dad used to would have he same things
for my mother. He helped my mother to get through
her in and she passed. She passes when she was
sixty three.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
She was a diabeg and.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
It took a lot for him to help her because
sometimes she got to the point where she couldn't walk.
So he had to try and help old everything.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
And and so God blessed you with someone to help you,
and and and what you're going through. And and the
thing that I want to the audience.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
And know is that.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
My sister her, I've never heard her complain, Not one
time I heard her complain. And she's always in an upmood.
And so I know that you you your parents made
a great impact on your life.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
What about that that.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Father daughter relationship? Just just kind of mention that I
know you had a relationship with your mom, but what
about their father daughter relationship. I think I think it's
important for every for every kid, whether it's a girl
or bought, to have a relationship with their fathers because
you know that their mothers don't always be there regardless
(28:21):
to what. But when you got, when you got both
your parents wishes, that's gonna help make everything that much
better because sometimes everyone needs relationship with their father because
a father can teach them things that they mother, you know,
cannot do. There's some things that the man has to
(28:41):
help the kids, whereas the mother, she can only go
so far. Well, you know, I'll open this up for
TJ and Bruize because you know, the thing that I
think about is uh, the fact that when we think
about a father and I know Boo Boots and a
father and Tej being her father, we know we know
(29:03):
how our children seeing Jesus living within us and uh,
and so go ahead, TV, and then you can pick
up on that.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Yes, Uh, this is UH. To sister Kathy, I heard
what you were telling me, and this is what you
you you said to to to t J. Without my husband,
without my parents, without my grandmother, I wouldn't have been
(29:37):
able to make it through these trials and tribulations that
I'm going through. However, Jesus is the one that leads
our lives. Our lives. We're not leading our lives ourself.
We'll follow in our We'll follow our Lord and savior,
Jesus Christ. You said you had a relationship with God. Yes,
(29:59):
you had a relationship with your heavenly father, and that
meant so much to you. And you want to thank
your grandparents, and you want to thank your mom, and
you want to think your husband, you want to think
your dad, you want to think your family members for
having the same Christian experience that you had. If it
wasn't for your Christian experience and your Christian belief, the
(30:22):
illness that you have, it would have been something that
you might not have made it through. But even with
the Lord and I was saving, Jesus Christ being in
our lives, we have to rely on him. If that's
what you did, and that's what you're doing, and that's
why you are assuring your your testimony with us. You're
(30:44):
saying that your strength came from God. God is still
the one He never left me. You said. And you
know what, TJ. This is you. This is what you
was telling TJ. TJ. I'm not even angry about these tribulations.
The trivial may choose that much stronger to where you
could say you're not angry. You said, I'm not angry
(31:05):
at all, she said, because with the Lord's support and
my husband support me and my family and my life,
we all we've all gained through these tribulations that I'm
going through. In other words, you were telling me TJ. Look,
I may have much for scrosis, I may have bad
(31:27):
I may I might I might have some illnesses that
you might not be familiar with. But I want you
to realize this, TJ. If you have any kind of problems,
any situations in your life, if you take them to
the Lord and leave them with the Lord, He'll see
you through. That's what you told me, and that I
definitely believe you, because this is what this is what
(31:52):
I'm trying to let people know. When I have an opportunity,
if you have any type of problem, any type of problem,
you can take it to the Lord. Always take it
to him. He is the one that said I will
never leave you, I will never forsake you. And if
(32:12):
he's going to go out of this way to die
for my sins, he died for me. He's already told me.
And this is what you reinforcing my belief in him
by saying, Look, even know I had a major illness,
(32:33):
it didn't stop me from loving my Lord. To save
you Jesus Christ, my husband reminded me. My husband helped
my mom when she was going through her trivial rations.
So when when Adam was first made by our Lord,
(32:53):
I will save you. He said this, He said, Adam,
you need a helpmaid. I'm gonna make a helpmate for you.
Her name is gonna be Eve. And look look, Kathy,
you and your husband, you're you're, You're our You're our
(33:14):
earthy Adam and Ease he's he's he's your helpmate and
you're his helpmate. And God is our soulmate. So I
want to thank you for your testimony. And you make
me you're making me that much more of a believer.
We can always trust in our Lord novel saving Jesus Christ,
(33:34):
regardless of what it is, He'll be the one that
we want to turn to. Thank your sister, Kathy, thank
you so much.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Thank you, Bruce. Before hey, somebody we got we got
a lot of background noise, all right, if you listen in,
if you could just muse the phone, because it's hard
for us to focus on what sister Taty's talking about
with all the background. So if you were just mutual
fond or you just you have to hang out whatever,
(34:05):
so we can go out and let both.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Right.
Speaker 6 (34:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I appreciate to get miss Tappy of
being on the on the podcast and she has a
message and everyone needs to hear the message. I mean
that she's she's talking about. I mean, she talks about
the significance of of of both parents, the father and.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
The and the mother.
Speaker 6 (34:32):
Yes, and the family need to try to stay together.
We it seems like, I don't know, the voice rights
seem like it's kind of going up. But the the kids,
they need both parents. So I mean, I know, we
know that the kids, they can't have a success when
there's only one parent, whether of the but the you know,
(34:56):
the ideal situation is for families to stay together. And
she talks about the the illness that she has, but
she's not complaining. He's trusting in the love and just
reminds me of one of my favorite scriptures, you know,
(35:17):
Proverbs three five. Trust in the law with all your heart,
and not on your own understanding, and all your ways
and knowledge him, and he will direct your past. So
he's the Lord is continually directing her path, and I.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Know her thing on this she will be able to
help someone else that's struggling. Perhaps they don't have him that,
perhaps they have something else that they're dealing with. But
but look at uh, here are miss Kathy spirits taking
church so she knows that God is. And in this podcast,
(35:58):
we always talk about and total mentions a lot of
teaching parents and grandparents. Talk to your kids about Christ,
talking to your kids about us Christ, this this we
save us over and over again because it's so important,
(36:19):
so important. So don't get away from that. Don't get
so worldly that you lose your focus, that you lose
your relations with Jesus Christ. And again I appreciate miss
Kathy coming on. And the first thing she mentioned I
recall correctly about her spirituality or her faith was her
(36:44):
parents and her grandparents. That's that's where it came from.
So the foundation, the foundation is critical, it's critical. So
that's really a part of our heritage. Uh uh as
black people.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
I know TJ.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
He talks about it all the time, told them myself,
that's what we're exposed to.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
So young le generation do not need to lose that.
That needs to be continued, continued. And perhaps that's why
we haven't sold many issues now in society and a special.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Black folks our help we come. I shouldn't have just
saved black folks, but everyone, particularly black folks, we mean
only hear because of the grace of our heavenly Father,
Jesus Christ. That's the only reason that we're here. You mean,
(37:48):
So don't don't lose that, don't forget that. Don't get
caught up in all this world and stuff. Make sure
your focus is on Jesus Christ. You may say this,
will that, they may talk about other things or what's
going on in the world.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
And all the oh boys, me and all all this
other things.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
Don't get distracted, do not. It's all about your personal relationship.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
But she.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
What's going on in your matter, what's going on in
this world? Amen, focus on Jesus and you'll be Okay,
you'll have the joy, you have that piece, you'll have
that look, you'll have understanding, you have understanding, you won't
be don't I be going on and but but I
(38:39):
want to stop there, you know, because I just want
again want to maintain the focus. And I'm appreciate again
this Cathy coming on and impacizing that where her thing
came from parents, grandparents talking about the Lord. Okay, Lord, okay,
(39:04):
now you know I understand, I understand. Right, you know
we just passed when we're talking about because we know
we know the Lord is will we know the Lord
when we see how many folks are lost. I mean
there was one elections, letting will pull you here and there,
(39:28):
stop it.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Please.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
It was uh, it was. It was something that told
and we talked about just like just briefly, just before
the we came on the air of the day and
he was asking me. He said, t J, what was
the what was the sermon about? This warning? And you
know what it was about, exactly what we're talking about
(39:54):
right now, the awareness of our Lord and the saving
Jesus Christ, the awareness of God. But God is aware
of our situations. God is aware of everything that's going on. Now,
who else could we depend on to say I need
some help, I need to go to my heavenly Father,
(40:16):
I need someone I need to talk to. I need
any time we need something, we always say who and
where and how, and we all come over the same answer,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And whenever
we need something, be aware. He's aware of our situations
(40:39):
and he's there for us. He's there simply just for us.
He said, Look, if you have any type of situation
and it's a little too tough for you to bring
it to me, I want you to bring it to me.
And if you think I'm telling the story about something
(41:00):
like that, I want you to try and see him.
In fact, I'm lying. It's just that he.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
Make saying mad, make the devil mad.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Right, that's right over.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
To Jesus Christ. Same thinks he has you.
Speaker 6 (41:18):
Right, if you're struggling with something, they think he has you. Okay,
just turn called Jesus is waiting. It's called Jesus is waiting,
just waiting for us to call him. He's aware of
what's going on.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
Right, right, He'll be there.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
You won't.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
You won't for sake, no matter what you're going through.
Praise them, Thank you, Jesus, I mean.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Talking about it.
Speaker 6 (41:45):
But Heavenly Father just makes you happy because you know.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Yeah, because you know what he's done, and you're like,
you know what he can do it otherwise you know
without a doubt what he can do and otherwise and
you can't appreciate miss Cathy coming on the podcast. Yes Jesus, yes, yes, yes,
you know it's it's really a blessing because of the
(42:13):
fact that you know when when when when God starts
to speak to people like he's speaking to Bruce and
like he's seeking to DJ you know, and and if
you in love with the Lord, you're like, man, I
appreciate what they're saying. I appreciate it. And that's why
that's what I feel it. And I wanted to say
this because when when when when when sister Katy was
was talking about the facts of her grandpas, and then
(42:35):
and then I thought about I thought about the other
week when t J said to his grandson came to
him and told him that he wanted to be baptized.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
So that means that that means that if TJ had
had lived that life in front of that grandson great grandson,
then he wouldn't even he wouldn't even know nothing about
the life they think about it. So start there, So
suit to Catty what I want. I want to ask
you this when you when you reflect back, because because
(43:09):
when I first started these podcasts, I talked about the
importance of grandparents because because a lot of times right now,
some of the people get caught up into things and
stuff and they forget about, uh, making that impact in
children's lives. And and so when when you think about
your your your grandparents just kind of just just kind
(43:29):
of pay a few things for my listening audience and
will understand the importance of grandparents, like what teacher is
was able to do for his great grandson. So say
something about your grandparents for us. So whatever you want
to say.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Okay, what the important things that I got when my
grandparents on both sides was their wisdom and their knowledge
because the way they treat their kids. They came them
in church and you know, and UH made sure that
they were getting proper home training. So when you so
when they uh went through and and and did everything
(44:10):
that the Lord said to do that kept them out
of trouble and and and that, and when they got
when they got to learning that they need from their grandparents,
I mean from their parents, then they passed that own
to kids. And so our parents because of the way
they were raised, they taught us about life and and
making sure that you make the right decisions that you
(44:32):
don't hang with their own proper because if you that
that would impact the rest of your life.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
You mean, right, flo.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Are you hey, Buke? I know Bruce and TV they
would jump on you because you said proper home trading,
proper home son. So many kids they got no home traders.
So the thing is that that's what's missing the proper
home training. What's the proper home training is introducing your
child that Jesus Christ, that's the that's the popa home training.
(45:06):
You know, if she says I called that, I hold
the fact that she got own training. So so so
I'm asking my listening audience, those you are grand kids,
are you giving your grandkids proper home training so when
they when they go out go out into the streets,
people can say, uh, that's that kid has been trained.
(45:28):
I have a habit of when I when I see
a young man and he's carrying himself in a certain way,
I go up to him and I said, man, when
you see your mom and your daddy, you tell me
they did a good job raising you. In Cancel. That
kid always said, I sure will. Can you imagine how
it would make them apparent feel if if if they
if that grandkid or that the child came home and said, uh,
(45:51):
somebody told me. If mama want me to tell you
did a great job in training me proper home training,
I tell you, uh. And I'm just I'm just so
excited about the fact that that we get a chance
to help those people out there that maybe don't understand
the importance of having a relationship with Jesus Christ for
(46:12):
more than anything, your children getting a chance to see
of God living your life, your grandkids getting a chance
to see God living in your life. You know That's
That's the thing that I look for than anything, is that,
And that's what this podcast is trying to do, is
to say. And Boo said it earlier. And I remember
saying the fact that you've got a responsibility you need
(46:33):
to you you you owe it to your grandkids escause
somebody your grandparents. I remember, mind Delian Papa, that's my
Delian Papa. You know. I remember my grandfather saying, if
you don't be nothing else, boy, you'd be a main.
I remember. I remember seeing my grandmama always got hear
them just singing, just singing it. And just this has happened.
(46:55):
She could be sitting in her church just as happy
as she can be. And when God called her home,
she was sending things here. We thought she would sleep,
but God had called the home. But I'm just saying, Ms.
Captain just told us proper home training. He said, I'm
gonna give you a few month minutes from Booths. But
just because Ms Captain just she says, made the whole show.
(47:19):
That's what people to know. You gotta train up, train
up an come.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
On, yes, yes, yes, sis, Sister Kathy. When you said
what you were a few of us go. You said, look,
you got to have proper home training. Before the proper
home training starting. It's gonna start with them grandmothers and
their grandfathers and their mothers and those daddies, and it's
(47:47):
gonna go. It's gonna being those parents. They're gonna get
in on it and the next thing you know, you'll
remember things like this, And don't you leave this house
forgetting where you came from. I want you to always remember.
You better leave here with some sense in your what's
(48:07):
acting like? You've got some sense, acting like you know,
acting like you know that the Lord and Savior is
your Jesus Christ. And you've got to always remember you
can always trust in the Lord and Born. When they
would say those kinds of things to me, Lord, you
can always remember the trust in the Lord. He's telling
(48:31):
me my grandfather, my father, my mom, my grandma. They're
telling me. Look, if you don't believe what I say,
believe it because Jesus said it. That's who's telling you this.
Ask where it all starts. It starts from them, It
starts with them, And they're gonna tell you all the
same things. Trust in the Lord and your savior. Jesus Christ.
(48:53):
Act like he would, act Act like you, Act like
that's your daddy. Act like the Lord and Savior is
your father. Act like that, Then what are you gonna do? Man? Look,
I gotta make sure if I turn the corner, if
one of these neighbors see me doing something I ain't
got no men is doing it, I would rather than
the neighbor take her bed off and whoop my butt
(49:15):
rather than tell it on my tell my daddy that
they saw me doing that. That was Those were some
of the things that we had to grow up learning about.
We had to know these things because if we didn't,
we wouldn't have made it. There's no in the world
we could have made it, no way whatsoever. So my grandfather,
(49:37):
my grandmama, my mom, and my dad, they're the ones
that my kids got their training because they trained me.
They had They had such enough to know to tell
your children to always trust in the Lord and save it.
Jesus Christ always knew that. They They always told us
(50:01):
that yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so miss Sallie, thank yous.
Like I said, look, your your your medical condition. It
seems as though it made you stronger. You you you're saying, hey,
I could have had miss but you know what, it
(50:25):
didn't mean anything to me because I know I had
my Lord Savior in my life. I know my mom
and my dad they told her, Look, you can be anything,
you can do anything, You can go any place anything
that you want if you just trust in the Lord
and save with Jesus Christ. Thank you again, miss Cat.
I just can't help it but to say it. Thank
you so much.
Speaker 2 (50:49):
Appreciate here.
Speaker 3 (50:54):
Big bad Jesus and I have a granddaughter named Oceanan.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
She's a drawer of my life. And do everything the
right way of the Lord. Yes, sure, yeah, and that's it.
Speaker 6 (51:08):
I know you're going to do that because you talk
about the home training. You know, we know what that entails,
the home training, and that that it begins with Jesus
Christ being in the Bible, study the word. So the
kids sort are respecting their their parents and when they're
out in the world they know how to act. There's
(51:28):
consistency with the neighbors. As tag is the statu and
the neighbor sees some improper behavior, then they they're they're
going to let the parents know. And and that's what
we've gotten away from as as as people Jesus thing yesterday, today, today,
and forever. Younger people may think, oh that's that's antiquated.
(51:51):
Oh that's that's old school. No things are changed. No
things are not changed. Stand as sal uh.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
And themmorality is still themmorality. And so God has God
hasn't changed the world that changed what good and evil
that's going to be consistent, I mean from from God's perspective.
So and as you said, uh, the home training now uh,
and again I appreciate you being on the podcast dating
(52:18):
that don't get confused. This home training is this is
basically knowing Jesus Christ, living for Jesus Christ, the mother,
living for Jesus Christ, the father, having the relationship with
Jesus Christ. Then your kids, the kids will we'll see
that in the parents don't going to know. They're going
(52:43):
to disciline you if you're going astray. I mean the
way we know the work talks about that you're going
to be disciplined, you know. But before the world disciplines you.
So to make sure you get on the right track,
because we know even if you have that foundation, that
Christ foundation, when you go up, you sometimes you do
lose strike, you do go astraight, you know. But if
(53:05):
you have that foundation, and if it's strong.
Speaker 6 (53:09):
If you'll come back, you'll come back and go. But
but but you have to have that foundation. That's that's
what we're stressing. That's that's what this kind is stressful.
You know, parents, grandparents, if you if you got your
way from your relationship, which is oh, you never had
(53:29):
that relationship.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
With Jesus Christ. I don't know, establish that relationship.
Speaker 6 (53:34):
With Jesus Christ. This I know we talk about this
a lot. This is nothing to play around with.
Speaker 1 (53:43):
Thing is busy.
Speaker 6 (53:45):
Those are being lost, all the believers.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
How to stand up knowing the right way to go,
the only way to go.
Speaker 6 (53:59):
It cannot be compromised. You can't be striving of this.
We know the influence of this world is strong. We
know that saving is so busy, But you have to
get in the wood times clime. WOEVERO Heaver is that.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
A crisis and God doesn't want anybody to be be lost.
But Jesus is calling Jesus is calling.
Speaker 6 (54:27):
You need to answer. Everyone needs to answer. If you haven't,
the force too late. Please Lord and again, peace in
this tater coming on and it's trusting. Train on train
on train. Get in your bible, establish a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
Get in that bible. That said get in that bible. Look,
miss Cansi, you said you said something a few months ago.
I really wanted to touch on it. I guess I
got carried away. But let me go back what you said. Wisdom, wisdom,
You use that wisdom word. Look, everybody, if you get
(55:09):
off into your Bible, if you get off into your book,
everything that we're talking about, there's always been a story
to guide us. And that boy Solomon, he told his
heavenly father. He said, look, he said, just give me
some wisdom, Man, give me wisdom. And one of the
better stories of wisdom it came from came from Solomon,
(55:33):
the son of David. And these two women was gonna
fight over this baby, and one wisdom came into Solomon's mind.
He said, I know how to handle this. He said,
why don't I just cut this baby in half and
you take halven, you take half, and the mother of
the baby said no, my heavenly father, please don't do
nothing like that. She can have it. He said, no,
(55:54):
you keep it. That's your baby. See. Without that wisdom
that he had, that wouldn't have happened. But that's what
he meant when he said, man, just just give me
a little wisdom, and I think I'll be okay. And
that's what our grandparents and our parents believed that they
believed in having that little bit of wisdom. They might
(56:17):
let have been this mornings people in the world, the
man they had to answer for everything they had, their Lord,
their safety guy, Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2 (56:27):
Thank you again, thank you, thank you, You're welcome. Also, yeah,
it's hard. Are you still there?
Speaker 1 (56:40):
T hard?
Speaker 2 (56:42):
Yeah, I was saying, I'm just saying to himself and
I said, I hope this podcast give some people to wisdom.
Yeah exactly. He told that that's all that to do.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
Is assle wisdom, the wisdom.
Speaker 2 (56:59):
Yeah, how about your and asked out for wisdom. You'll
give it. That's it, you know, And it's just uh,
you know, I can't. I can't get off. We're about
to get off. But I just want to say to
her husband, the wife, uh man, thank you thank you
for being a husband that you are to your to
your wife. Uh the might I would have gave you
(57:20):
opportunity to talk, but you talk more than I do.
So I had to hold it down. I had to
hold it down.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
Man down.
Speaker 2 (57:34):
He left the paddle one something. The only way I
was gonna hold him down is waiting the end of
the show. Okay, on the way, but no, the white
You know how much I'm gonna shure your wife mean
coming in, But I wanted to give your wife an
opportunity because you know what, she got quiet. She doesn't
talk that much and I know that, and so I
(57:55):
wanted to give her an opportunity to just to open
up and tell us. So tell us that people been
understanding that what what having mss don't mean that life
is over, you mean, especially if God, especially if God
give you a good man, a good woman, and you've
got you know. So that's the real blessing is that
he's been hanging in out with us with her. So Dwight,
(58:16):
I'm I'm going to put my time on you got
you got one minute, Dwighton, whatever you want to say,
all right.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
But I thank all of you, uh all of you.
I've enjoyed. Uh y'all's preaching. I mean you you all
have covered uh the word and I've just been I'm
so blessed, and I'm thankful for my wife. She's just
she's a big encouragement to me. Uh and the kids.
(58:46):
She she was relentless and helping him to pursue their educations,
make sure they graduated from the university. We thank the
Lord for that. And and she she helped me to
to write a book that's uh, that's a five star
book and it's called Red Spool. And my wife she
(59:06):
did the editing, the truth reading. She she she printed
and typed all of the manuscripts for me. And uh,
I just thank the Lord for her, because where would
I be without a good woman like her. My thanks,
that's good, that's good, that's good wife. See Dwight some
(59:29):
he summed it all up, and in the way he's
sumbed it up, he was basically telling God, thank.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
You for my wife. Up up he said, thank you
for my wife, you know. And uh, then it's always uh,
it's Captain, you know. Uh, it's always a blessed blessing
to to see you and when I talk to you,
and then to have you to come on the podcast
and and Boots and TJ and and all the listening
(59:54):
audience get a chance to her, sure a woman of God,
talk about the fact that you were introduced the g
Jesus Christ early mama, daddy and grandparents, you know, and
so t J has done that and and it's it's
it's just a blessing to to know that other other
grandparents and that the responsibility that grandparents now, you know,
(01:00:15):
there's the responsibility. Don't let God call you home and
you haven't done your job, you know. Yeah, And so
so I'm just thankful that that we got a chance
to bring miss miss Dwight catcha dwight On home, just
miss Jeffery, just just to let her know what we
appreciate you. Thank you for opening up. Thank you for
(01:00:36):
opening up, and and and and shine shining with listening
on you. Well, you know, I'm gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna,
