it's a blessing. I don't want to call any name
because I'm a miss somebody, but but it's just a
blessing that people can start to understand that Bruce and
TAJ and myself, we know that we have to do this.
God is chosen us this to go fishing, you know.

And I was thinking earlier the day the Church of
Powers was talking and to think about the fact that
that you God have chosen you for something. He's chosen
you to do something for the kingdom. And we understand,
Bruce and TJ and myself, we understand that we've told
we've been on this boat to go fishing, you know.

And that's and that's a real, real blessing for us
to be able to do this. And you know, I
always to try to make sure that I can just
say something about the Lord at the beginning, because you know,
when you wake up in the morning, you got to
start looking for Jesus. You gotta start looking for him
because he's gone. He's gone. And I just gotta shut
this because I love when God does something for me.

I always give him prayer right off the back. See,
some people may just go along and say, oh, man,
I was blessed today, or this was asking this and
this happened. Man, I'm lucky to that.

Now, well, anyway, here's what happens. I decided to check
my you know, every now and you gotta take check
your water in your radiator, you know, so you pull
the cap off and you check. So I forgot to
put my radio cap back on. I forgot to put
it back on, and I must have gold probably about
thirty miles.

You gotta listen to what I'm saying.

You know, I go about thirty miles and I can
wed have my wife and time have launch my or
my daughter. And when I got to a world she
was at, things just started coming out of It was
out of money hood and I'm like, oh, what's going on.
But then here's how God works. You know, with the
cap off, you would think that the cap is lost.

That I found that cap laying on the side on
the side of the car, by on the inside of
the by the hood where I can where I can
actually put it back on. And then God told me.
He said, look at all the water on the ground.
He said, I kept your water level. Listen to you
gotta listen to what I'm saying. Your car didn't run,
the water didn't run out. Now think about this. The

top is completely off. I drive thirty miles, I look
on the ground and it's nothing. But after the stopped,
nothing but water was on the ground. That means he
kept my water level because I looked on the inside
and my gaze wasn't running hot. But God let me
let all the water steal out so I can see

that my gangs, my life was up, and I just
and I couldn't do nothing but tell him. When I
said God, look how good God is. He didn't have
us stranger, no one then. And then I was at
was at the bread and the lady in there gave
me enough water to put back in my car. I
not understand what I'm saying. That's why we get excited.

That's why I proused the teacher, and that's why I
keep that brings. Hey, I'm gonna bring us a whole
thing of toilet paper on the Bcause when you started
to realize how good God is, you have the same
feeling that we have.

And and I talked to my brother the other day

He be laughing at those thinking some of the craziest
stuff you be saying. I said, man, I don't even know,
but I just get excited when I can just say
something that maybe will make people laugh and not say
something that would would make him feel angry, because it's
not about saying anything about somebody that will make him
feel bad. He lasts all the time. So the baby
boy stod. You know what happened last time? Uh my sister,

you know my sister now you know I love the call.

You know, he had a baby ball, remember he had
he had broke his leg on fell from the jungle gym,
and uh he at first he had popsicle sticks. And
you know the reason why we talk about the kickenbone
because that but when he was a little baby, we
didn't give him no passive passive bole. We gave him
a chicken bone. That's how we got baby ball asleep.
Just give him a kicken bone, he'll fall asleep. So,
so what happened was he decided he didn't want those

those crutches and no more anymore. So Palm they had
some chicken or something and he found some chicken bones.
He started using chicken ball for crutches. And that's when
my sister I call. He said, too, but what to
go to? He don't want to get rid of it.
You don't want to get rid of the clutches or nothing.
So I told him, I said, what you need to do,
just that, let baby boy know that that you're gonna take.

You're gonna keep the training wheels on a big wheel.
And you know, baby boy don't on a ride around
with no training wheels on his big wheel. And so
he was like no, no, And then it was so
she was trying to get in to get taken nut.
And so what happened was she told me she wasn't
gonna do it, and and and so he was like
he was okay with it, and he went to sleep,

but hearance what happened when he was sleep. I can't stop.
The baby boy was having a nightmare. He was exclaiming
and hollering townmells. He said, my sister, I said, I'll
tell you y'all went in there and he and he
was still thinking about the chicken bone because he was
trying to cut himself up with a chicken bone. What
co sense that he's trying to cut himself with a
chicken bone? But then all of a sudden, she woke

him up and he realized that he was having a
bad nightmare, a bad day day nightmare dream. But anyway,
he actually got a chance to get up, and she
actually got a chance to let him go back outside again.
And I prayed again, And so last last thing I
talked to her was he was out there really having
a good time on the John and jam and uh

Mary go around and we're gonna check and see how
she got a chance to get him back in the house.
And we just want to let y'all know that baby
boy is gonna be on her and a couple of
weeks we're gonna blame baby ball so he can have
something to say. But anyway, once again, we are last
week Boosts and TJ and myself, we we had a
special guest. I remember TJ. TJ was saying, I don't

know how I told her gonna have somebody to come
that's gonna do mislove because you know we had miss
Love on and then when I told her I told
him we had Jesus Christ, he got excited. She got
so excited. So TJ, you know what, you gotta remember
that everybody this.

good afternoon everyone. First of all, I must tell told
I that I want to thank him for giving me
the opportunity to let the world know how good, how
much Jesus Christ means to me. And I want to
thank Valerie for always trying to keep us connected on

this and and keep this part going. And then my
brother Bruce is always right there to back me up
when I need my when I need a little back
up every now and then he's right there, right there.
It was last week. It was an unusual not an
unusual show. It was a see me, let me. Let's
start from the beginning. First of all, I always want
(08:51):
to let toll I know, look, whenever you have a
guest on, it's always somebody that we're not familiar with,
and it's always seemed I could that person with that testimony,
that's going to fit right in on today's part on
today's show. Now, last week, the guests that he had
(09:14):
planned to have, I think it might have been the
little cold little yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
The guess that he was going to have wasn't able
to make it for whatever reason. And he said, you
know what, guys, We're going to have a special guest
today and it's going to be Jesus. And that meant that, hey,
(09:37):
we can just talk about the Lord and shave of
Jesus Christ. I remember writing a few notes down because
everything else I couldn't couldn't write and talk at the
same time. But I do remember things like this, Jesus
would tell us what to talk about. He's going to
(09:59):
tell us what to say and how to make our
confession about Jesus mean something to this listening audience, and
there was no trouble. Just talk about the Lord, talk
(10:20):
about how good he has been to you, talk about
how good he is to your family, talk about talk
about what things make you happen, and you know that
it's all happening because of the Word, because of Jesus Christ.
And I remember talking about my great grandson joining church.
(10:41):
He HADJN church a couple of Sundays before that, and
I was still on a high bout him joining church.
I think he's about what twenty one now, Yeah, he's
about twenty one or twenty two. And he came to
me and he said, grandfather, he said, you know what
he said, I think I need to church. I wanted
you in church. We had talked to his dad about it,

and he had talked to his mom about it. And
that was such a blessing to hear that God can
work in ways that we're not even thinking about it.
I know, I'm praying for my grand great grandson, I'm
praying for my family. I'm praying for them all the time,
and didn't know, didn't realize that God was really letting
(11:27):
me know, you know what I need to let you
know that I'm answering your prayer. I hear what you're
asking me, and so I'm going to let you know
in a way that will mean so much to you.
And for him to let me know that he was
wanting to join church, that let me know that. See,
(11:47):
God is good. He answers our prayers. And I don't
know if I mentioned that, but I should have, and
if I shouldn't, or if I did, that was that?
Was that what this show is about. People. Look what
we're saying is if you want to have a little
(12:09):
talk with Jesus, just go ahead and have a little
talk with him. That's what prayers are all about. If
you're having a little problem you want someone to hear
about it, why not let Jesus hear about it. Because
he said, look, bring me all of your trials and
your travelations. You bring them to me and I'll work
them out for you. You're going to have a few
(12:30):
problems every now and then, but they won't be everlasting problems.
I want you to be happy. I want you to
be happy. I want you to I want you to
just enjoy yourselves right here on earth as you would
in heaven, just like the Lord prayers saying all of
the time. Look, when when you talk about the Lord Jesus,
(12:51):
you can't talk about anybody else any more than that.
I mean, look, Jesus, is he I had any I
happening to happen that Sunday morning my neighbor, Miss Mayfield,
And I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind me letting you
(13:14):
know about her situation. But she was feeling bad and
she wasn't going to be able to make the church
she wants to know. TJ. Thomas, can you come bound
your way? Because I thank you and your wife will
probably go to church right here. Well, what I want
you to do is I want you to stop buying
pick up my tithes my tithes for me today because
I won't be able to make it. Not knowing that
(13:35):
she was ill, I said, sure, no problem, And when
I got there to pick him up, I said, love,
Miss Mayfield, it's anything you need me to do, just
give me a calling. It won't be no problem. I
can say. If I can't do it, I can work
it out. The way can be done. But the thing
about that was that I didn't know she was sick.
(13:59):
I didn't know that she needed help, and that was
a way of the Lord letting me know. Whatever you're
supposed to do. You're supposed to love everyone, love your
neighbor as you will love yourself. And we talk about
loving our neighbors all of the time. And our neighbor
could be right down the street, they could be two
(14:22):
hundred miles away. And that's what he wanted us to
talk about last week. Talk about him, talk about what
he means, talk about talk about how he loves us.
Let everybody know, let everyone know that can hear your voice,
that you're here to let people know that God is
(14:45):
the answer. If you have any type of situations, if
you have anything that might be of a of a
problem or a situation, get in touch with him, Let
him know what's going on, Let him be of part
of your life. Always make it. Make it known to
him that, look, you want him to be in your
(15:07):
life all the time, every single day, every single situation,
it all, it all starts with the Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. We've got to always remember that. If we
remember this, at one time, we didn't have those kind
of situations where we could depend on someone. But when
(15:30):
he died and he rose to our sins. Anytime we
make a mistake, anytime we're sinners, we may as well
go ahead and admit it. I'm a sinner, and look
what I do. Know that I still have a Lord
and Savior that's gonna love me. He's going to always
love me, he's going to always forgive me, and he's
(15:52):
always going to let me know the Look, if you
have any problems, you bring them to me. Put your
faith in me. Put your faith in me, Thomas. This
is what I want you to do. And that's what
I try to do every single day. Every time I
get an opportunity, I try to let someone know what
he actually means to me. He loves me. He wants
(16:16):
me to love everyone, and he is telling me, if
you can love me, Thomas, then you will be able
to love everyone. You will be able to forgive. You
can forgive the people that hurt you, and you can
forgive the people that talk about you. You can forgive
the people that might have some little animosity in their
(16:37):
heart towards you. The only thing I want you to
do is just know I can forgive you, so you
can forgive everybody else. And don't you forget that, Thomas,
and that's what I try to do, is to forget it.
As while this program last week it was we were
talking about what Jesus actually means, how good Jesus see is,

how good I was having their father is, we have
we have, we have an awesome God, y'all. God is
so good. He's awesome. And if we can let the
world know, if I get the opportunity to let the
world know how good he is, that's what I plan
on doing for the rest of my life. Other than that, y'all,

the Lord had woke, come out early in the morning,
place it on his heart to get folks to not
focus on what's going on in the world, specifically Trump.

I mean that, uh, the focus should be on Jesus Christ.
Should always do on Jesus Christ. And that's why I
love this podcast because this podcast is always going to
be about Jesus Christ. So it doesn't matter what's going
on in in the world, with politics, whatever, Jesus is

trust God and and that's that's what it's all about.

have Jesus in your life, you're you're You're never alone

get excited because I know our heaven and Father's his
will and He's the only way. And and John fourteen
six tells us Jesus says, I am the Way and
the truth and life. No one comes through the Father
except through me. It's about Jesus Christ. Y'all, no one
else know other God. Jesus Christ is the only way.

And you also come where the poem. Will you serve
and will get scripture down regarding that Matthew five sixteen,
elect your life shine before others that they may see
your God. I'll see your good works and glorify your
Father in heaven. And again it's about glorifying our heaven
and Father. It's not glorifying yourself or or willing to

get a pat on the back or whatever. It's not
about you. It's about her heaven a father that you
don't want anyone to be lost. God doesn't want anyone
to be lost. So and as teacher talks about as
his neighbor, he's doing what God wants him to do,
I mean concern hibout his name, you know, and appreciate
him sharing that uh with us. And uh it made

me think about the Scots when when when they're all
uh one of the podcasts last year, uh, and when
they talked about don't be so heavily bound, but you're
no work really good. You don't get just focused on Okay,
I'm trying to get to heaven. But you're disrespecting your
your your brother, your your sister here on on her

It's all about how we treat our neighbor. And and
as as teacher was talking about, if someone does you wrong,
if you're home, you could give them. You don't have athmosity.
You're not plotting trying.

hall and walked in there the meeting and take over
the meeting. I walk in the school district all white
and take over the meetings. Because He have given us

the authority take over. And we have to know the
authority we have and believe in what we do. Have
the words by down and baffles and and UH. We
can code it all kinds of ways, but we know
how to activate it. And we knew how to do
the word. We have to do the words. And so
I'm so blessed. I came from a great family UH

in uh Carlton since eighteen hundreds and.

All my family led me as a child to Christ
and UH and I'm so blessed that all my family
served the law and UH we've been uh in a
town that uh that most of you guys don't understand
because you've never been in it and were only.

So the town I came over in, uh, we had
our own black neighborhood and were in the white neighborhood.

If he's in ham De Park and went back and forth,
you never was involved in, uh, the civil rights and
struggled and things that. I mean, we had to go
through fight of freedom and justice and you never went

in North thousand or somewhere, you didn't have to go
through all that kind of stuff. So that's the way
I said that we learned to walk by walking authority
and going through things. And God is so grateful to
when he take you through things just the way you
learn things and you get educated, and seeing the wild
wise man we're hearing increases learning. So we had to

get increase our learning at all times, and we go
through things. It's not uh uh that we are sucking,
but it's a blessing to go through things. And I
gotta tell a lot of people that think I'm kind
of crazy, I say to them pain, pain is a friend,
and pain is a blessing that you get to the price.
Because if there's a pain and you there's something going

on wrong, and you got it and you go to
the docting, most people want to go to the uh
get medicine for the pain. But all the pain lead
the pain alone was the pain letting you know something
was going on wrong and you got it. The pain
a blessing God has given you for us to use.
And uh, it's it's your's issue, buddy. But then again

and telling us to you know, to get with them
and get understanding. And now that's really what we really
have to do. And in the book telling us the
trust in the Lord and do good and well in
him and feed you up only his safefulness.

Going through all my life and going through different times
that I was so blessed to be under the great
families and and this community, I was so great that
I did uh uh get a relationship with Christ at
a young age because Uh, I was sixty seven years old.

I was kind of starting doing civil rights work. At
that age. I was going into the all white neighborhood
that uh, we're supposed to be going into because I
was curious about how I was they doing so good
and we wasn't doing so good? How was they operating?
And so I would get beg my dadd to let
me get a job where I could go and work

in the white neighborhood to just to find out. I
would go in their homes and use the restaurant, my
peep all around their rooms and houses, just trying to
figure this thing out while wasn't treating us different. And
I know to God that they talked telling me about
it my church, UH was saying we were blasted. They
were blasting. I was seeing them doing so much better.
So God blessed me to be the type of a child.

I thank him so much that all my time in
my life been dedicated from me young to be serving people,
for people to be a better people. In this town here,
I'm about three miles from where I was raised up
at and been in. Now, you most people don't stand
the talent no eighty something years if they can tell

you about who went through the things that I could
not go into, uh city Hall, the times and I
went on here they called police arms and a lot
of things I couldn't do. But now they cannot even
go in the city hall to see. Go on my
streets twenty fifteen and name of the streets back of
the city hall where the police got to come to
work and the city got to come to work. And

in order to city manager, they can't come come to
work right to your day. Let's they come on my
street the name of Rainwater Lane in twenty fifteen. I'm
not I it's God. If I'm gonna telling you how
God is blessed and how God moved and the things
like that. And I had the great opportunity to be
to be used. And uh that's why he tell you

all the time to get get get a good understanding
by the life and everything.

to your Christ first and hold the spirit and get
them knowledge to I mean, ask them for knowledgeal wisdom,
so you can get wisdom and you can get understanding
before you make a move. Most times we don't do that.
We move on our owns and says a man thinking
it in his heart. So we have a tendency want
(31:20):
to think about things ourselves and move on our own
and get in trouble and that's how trouble. That's why,
that's why a lot of things come up. But coming
right back to that, uh, while I say that while
I'm petting you that I was our church. We was
at we uh I was doing well and running in
his job. And so I think the parents is somebody
(31:42):
at your church said, well we all uh contacted the
person that up on home and detap. I'll thank you
gathered back here about to detach, clean your body out
or something. That's the way back there. And uh, I
was stupid enough to to go go along with that.
So what you send a doctor? Call to doctor Oklahoma,
and he was send you uh uh a kit that
(32:03):
he would uh urine in and send it back in,
freeze it and send it back and all that. And
I started and in South he sent me all the
old pills and also I guess four a thoundred dollars
and I'm on detop and everything and people the church
did it. That's why I keep saying, we got to
get some wisdom and got his knowledge. But was a
point about it that was that wasn't a doubt. That
was the season I made a stupid of men being
(32:25):
ignorant myself uh, to start taking me pills. So I
wanted to much. It's come and started bothering me. And
I went to the doctor and uh, he said, well,
let me give you something. I went to the regular
doctor here. I called him back and they said me
something elf. I went to the regular regular doctor and
he gave me a suh, I'm gonna little pills and said,
you know, no problem, think the nerves or something. So
(32:46):
I want to say, well, I told my wife. I said, well,
now I'm going to the I'm going to the veteran
house dealer. Was that gonna drive your blood right then?
And this first thing they do? So I went out
third and uh uh the guy uh. The doctor came
back down said we got a bed for you. But
I was still feeling good. Said yeah, So I said okay.
(33:06):
He didn't go tell my wife. So I came on
out and told my wife, let's go baby, but I
didn't tell her. We came on home. About two o'clock
that day. He called and my wife answer the phone said, well,
your husband and husband is supposed to be in the bed
and I'm recording this because I'm not gonna be reponsible
him if you die. And Uh. So I went in
and I went to my uh regular doctor and it's
(33:28):
not possible, but you didn't have no kidney problem because
this last year ago or thirty days ago, we just
had a task and everything and uh from that we uh,
there's nothing wrong with you. But come on in. I
went in and come find out I did. My kitty
was gone, and uh, he said, well something you did.
(33:50):
You shocked him. They don't kit no go out the fad.
You never had a kid in the problem. But I
told him about to be talking and showed him the
pills and he say, you kill shock your kidney and
I knocked the mouse. And now you got to go.
I said, well, no, I'm not going on no Dallas
and that's the kids, you know, and I pray you
to seek your Lord and stuff. I wasn't going, but
I had to go ahead and and uh, I got
(34:12):
so sick. So I had to go ahead and go
to the doctor. And once I got to the doctor hospital,
he said, well, no, we ain't got no room. After
we had talked, I asked you to come one in early.
I said, well, I'll tell you what. I'm not leaving here.
You're gonna do something right Now that's how sick I were.
So they operated on me in uh in the in
the office because they said we can do any here.
I pull the shots. Well you're gonna have to do
(34:33):
it right now. But anyway, that's how sick I was
kidding it. My batty was parson uh to make it.
Then after that, man, it's just that I was so
uh shocked that I had to go on Dallas. I
went on dallasa and uh for seven years. And as
I went there, I said, well, I'm not gonna let
(34:53):
the Lord. I'm gonna let the devil beat me. I
got to figure something matter on this deal. So I said,
I want to walk about faith and not a sight.
And I'm here if I'm here, and by his stripes.
I got the egglack. I'm here by stripe. So every
time I get to die, see, I was jumping straight
my head up and walk high on purpose, uh to
(35:14):
let the other people see and uh and and build
my confidence up. Uh so on the way out, and
you know, want for somebody to come out there leaning
all those because if you so weak I was, but
I wouldn't. I was straighten up and laugh and smiles.
I don't walk by sight and believe that I'm heal
in the name of Jesus. But I said on seven years.
And after seven years, I uh, and I got to
(35:38):
sign up for transplant kidney. And uh. After I signed
there for the kidney, at that point I got saying
all the pains and things you don't you never get hurting,
no more pain weren't no pains. I mean you get
you can get your point where pain hurt, don't hurt
no moment, and you can get so close to the
price that the you know, you're just floating in the
(35:59):
area around. That's really true. There, I'm telling you get
hurt things so much.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
But anyway, I just throw I signed up for dolls
and I found up. I mean I signed up for
the kidney, and they so the way they called me
up a kidney, and uh, you would call you boy
two in the morning. They called me a couple of times,
I mean two in the morning. And so you got
a kidney for you And my spirit said no, don't
take it. So I said, no, I'm not gonna take it.
Get let's somebody else have it. And I said, uh.
(36:26):
So after that uh, and came up again. I prayed
and lost, said well, and now I don't take this one.
So I called him back and said, don't take it.
So I went through five of them and I turned
down five of them. Went on almost about a year,
but I was doing well. And the point about it
is that I just kind of failed in my mind
the spirit which did my nurse will shed real tighten
(36:49):
me anyway, real close.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
To them in my and everything.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
So she was telling me, I mean the life that
I saw, I saved lives about letting them have the
kidney because they were about to die. And and I
wentn't But I got so blessed was that the one
I sided to take it? They called I didn't know.
I was at Saturday the morning when the wife woke
me up and he called, and my mind said, I said, okay,
(37:12):
I'll be there just like that, And the whole surger
just told me to go take this one. And I
got there. This one was twenty three years old. Never
had no problem nothing now and now I've been walking
around now about twenty three or twenty four years with
a kidney and never had no problem or anything. Do
everything in the world or want to do. And the
God so so grateful. I tell you, and so we,
(37:35):
like the words said, trust in the Lord and do
good the well his land, and see you on his faithfulness.
We have to walk by faith and not by sight,
and sometime we have to give up some things. Some
time I haven't listened to the spirit can be so selfish.
And I was just thinking so much that I wasn't selfish.
The life was saved just because I would followed the spirit,
(37:57):
and they were so excited to just see didn't know.
We talked about it later, the doctor and everything that
how did I do that? And everybody's begging for one
and everybody said to hell one and I said, well,
I had no problem. The spirit just told me don't
take it, and I had uh time to take it.
You told me to take it. And I've been so
blessed ever since. I tell you, God is great. God
(38:20):
is great. That is great. But we all had to
move to the Lord and trust in him. That's the
key thing, trusting in God. So I wrote a couple
of books. While I was on three books, and I said, well,
you know, uh, I'm gonna let the devil beat me.
(38:41):
And while I was in there, I started training. They
made me at the dills, the place. The guy came
out and the directly telling how great I was doing
a walk in person out to had and the main
office came out and talked to me and asked me
about being in charge of U the dolls, the people's
working with the they had problems to work with the
(39:01):
director they had directly couldn't help me. For them to
contact the main office for me became the main offer.
Do I understand they gave it. They raised me up
and gave me a thought here and because I will
walk on my face and uh walking out with a
thought it. And when I walked in and I although
I was, you know, hurting sometimes, but I walked over
the thought it because I believed that I was here,
(39:22):
and I was here, and I said, inscription in scripture,
and uh for rent to tell you that uh nor
we getting way up to escape? And I always stood
on this script go always gave me a way to escape.
And I tell you, when you put your your your
lives in God's hand, your mind and your spirit, it's easy,
(39:45):
he said. He said, chance on me, all your parents
on me, and his yoke is easy. It's really truly,
I'll tell you, but you have to it's easy to
study and it's easy to say things. For God let
me go through it to be able to experience. And
I'm so blessed and I'm so happy today that I
went through it, and I learned so much and made
(40:06):
so great a man out of me and changed my
life to learn what love is about, and changed my
life to want to put everybody else first before me.
God is so grateful, grateful, And from that I got
had opportunity to started ministering and all over the state
(40:26):
and were driving and stuff. And from that, after that
I ended up and just uh, God came to me
from Allison Airport, met enough guy and said God told
me to fly y'all where y'all need to go to
ministry all over the prisons in jail. So we go
to Allison, get on this airplane, fly all over the
ministry all over you know, I mean Texas. And I
(40:48):
was doing the downtown New Stirt getting I end up in.
Didn't didn't up and didn't didn't count it ministering up
there everything. But I understand how God usually when you
just following him and give your life, you have to
give your life to a completely. You can't be halfway
in halfway out. You have to give him all you got,
all you got here.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
I am here, I am God.

If you're ready to come back and get me, to
get me today, I'm ready to go. Just do what
you want to do with me doing work in my life,
and let me do a work in here on earth.
To you for your people. Your people are hurting. Your
people didn't need confusion, don't know a lot of the
same loss and everything else, and don't know what's going on.
So I just give me a knowledge and give me wisdom.
Let me bless your people. So that's why I stand today,
(41:33):
and I'm so happy to be able to go through things.
I'm so happy to be able to go through. What
other people are suffering is a blessing for you. Pain
is a blessing for you. You have to get to
a certain point in God's Christ be in you and
pain you find out, pain is a blessing for you.

give God a chance, just give him a chance. You know,

things you're saying. So t i'mnna give you opportunity. And
then then Bouce, I know you, I know y'all been listening. Man,

always say, uh broun rang WANs that anybody come on

fishing for souls man. And that's why we get excited
because we are re understand that one day everybody's gonna
hear God. Uh, they're gonna get to knock at the
door and it's gonna be their time. It's gonna don't
let it be too late. Don't let it be too late.

and Charles Ray, we were all at brother T Washingtgether

a life before Hamilton Poyd. So I've known the rainwaters forever,
I mean for years. Guy. I know at one time
I think William Price, Robert Price, might have been a
minister over there at your at your church in Carrollton
before he became the member of here and I and
(43:46):
at knew my design and he shared a couple of
he shared a couple of testimonies with me. Now, going
back to what you were saying, God has given you
this setback that you had. What you said was nothing
(44:06):
and there was nature, But He wanted you to take
this setback and tell the world how you came through
this setback. And it wasn't anything that you did in particular.
It was everything about the Lord loving and caring about you.
It was he who saw to it that the right
(44:27):
doctor was in your life. It was he that was
that was that was that was around to encourage you
and discourage you from having certain surgeries at a certain time,
all of the things that was happening, he was the
one that was doing the guiding. He was guiding you.
He wanted you to have faith and what he knew
(44:50):
and nobody knows anything like I was Lord and to
save to Jesus Christ. Now for you to go through
those situations. His reason for taking you through those situations.
He wanted you to be able to tell the world
about it. And that's what you're doing today. You're letting
us know the look. You may think you know what's
going on. You may think you know what you need
(45:13):
to do. You may think he said, put all of
your faith. You said, put all of your faith in
the Lord and saving Jesus Christ, and he'll come out
of it and you'll be okay and you'll be just fine.
But the moment we forget to tell the world what
(45:33):
the Lord is telling us what to tell the world about,
then we're not doing any We're not we're not doing
the fishing. We're not being the fisherman that we can
be and should be. You've gotten on that boat with
us now, or we've gotten on that boat with you,
(45:53):
and we're all in it in the same boat, and
we're all saying the same thing. You can trust in
the Lord. Whatever, whatever your situation is, we could always
put our trust in our Lord.

about Jesus Christ. And so we haven't had the people
that started to come on in and just contribute. You know,
it's a blessing. I don't want to call any name
because I'm a miss somebody, but but it's just a
blessing that people can start to understand that Bruce and
TAJ and myself, we know that we have to do this.
God is chosen us this to go fishing, you know.

And I was thinking earlier the day the Church of
Powers was talking and to think about the fact that
that you God have chosen you for something. He's chosen
you to do something for the kingdom. And we understand,
Bruce and TJ and myself, we understand that we've told
we've been on this boat to go fishing, you know.

And that's and that's a real, real blessing for us
to be able to do this. And you know, I
always to try to make sure that I can just
say something about the Lord at the beginning, because you know,
when you wake up in the morning, you got to
start looking for Jesus. You gotta start looking for him
because he's gone. He's gone. And I just gotta shut
this because I love when God does something for me.
(02:26):
I always give him prayer right off the back. See,
some people may just go along and say, oh, man,
I was blessed today, or this was asking this and
this happened. Man, I'm lucky to that.

Now, well, anyway, here's what happens. I decided to check
my you know, every now and you gotta take check
your water in your radiator, you know, so you pull
the cap off and you check. So I forgot to
put my radio cap back on. I forgot to put
it back on, and I must have gold probably about
thirty miles.
Speaker 6 (02:55):
You gotta listen to what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
You know, I go about thirty miles and I can
wed have my wife and time have launch my or
my daughter. And when I got to a world she
was at, things just started coming out of It was
out of money hood and I'm like, oh, what's going on.
But then here's how God works. You know, with the
cap off, you would think that the cap is lost.
(03:20):
That I found that cap laying on the side on
the side of the car, by on the inside of
the by the hood where I can where I can
actually put it back on. And then God told me.
He said, look at all the water on the ground.
He said, I kept your water level. Listen to you
gotta listen to what I'm saying. Your car didn't run,
the water didn't run out. Now think about this. The
(03:42):
top is completely off. I drive thirty miles, I look
on the ground and it's nothing. But after the stopped,
nothing but water was on the ground. That means he
kept my water level because I looked on the inside
and my gaze wasn't running hot. But God let me
let all the water steal out so I can see
(04:04):
that my gangs, my life was up, and I just
and I couldn't do nothing but tell him. When I
said God, look how good God is. He didn't have
us stranger, no one then. And then I was at
was at the bread and the lady in there gave
me enough water to put back in my car. I
not understand what I'm saying. That's why we get excited.
(04:25):
That's why I proused the teacher, and that's why I
keep that brings. Hey, I'm gonna bring us a whole
thing of toilet paper on the Bcause when you started
to realize how good God is, you have the same
feeling that we have.

And that's just a blessing, you know.

Yeah, you know, so we always we always like to
like to start this thing off, but the baby boys start.
So we won't let y'all laugh. We gotta make y'all laugh.
And and I talked to my brother the other day
and he something.

He listened to it.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
He be laughing at those thinking some of the craziest
stuff you be saying. I said, man, I don't even know,
but I just get excited when I can just say
something that maybe will make people laugh and not say
something that would would make him feel angry, because it's
not about saying anything about somebody that will make him
feel bad. He lasts all the time. So the baby
boy stod. You know what happened last time? Uh my sister,
(05:14):
you know my sister now you know I love the call.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
U name pound Bond.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
You know, he had a baby ball, remember he had
he had broke his leg on fell from the jungle gym,
and uh he at first he had popsicle sticks. And
you know the reason why we talk about the kickenbone
because that but when he was a little baby, we
didn't give him no passive passive bole. We gave him
a chicken bone. That's how we got baby ball asleep.
Just give him a kicken bone, he'll fall asleep. So,
so what happened was he decided he didn't want those
(05:41):
those crutches and no more anymore. So Palm they had
some chicken or something and he found some chicken bones.
He started using chicken ball for crutches. And that's when
my sister I call. He said, too, but what to
go to? He don't want to get rid of it.
You don't want to get rid of the clutches or nothing.
So I told him, I said, what you need to do,
just that, let baby boy know that that you're gonna take.
(06:04):
You're gonna keep the training wheels on a big wheel.
And you know, baby boy don't on a ride around
with no training wheels on his big wheel. And so
he was like no, no, And then it was so
she was trying to get in to get taken nut.
And so what happened was she told me she wasn't
gonna do it, and and and so he was like
he was okay with it, and he went to sleep,
(06:24):
but hearance what happened when he was sleep. I can't stop.
The baby boy was having a nightmare. He was exclaiming
and hollering townmells. He said, my sister, I said, I'll
tell you y'all went in there and he and he
was still thinking about the chicken bone because he was
trying to cut himself up with a chicken bone. What
co sense that he's trying to cut himself with a
chicken bone? But then all of a sudden, she woke
(06:46):
him up and he realized that he was having a
bad nightmare, a bad day day nightmare dream. But anyway,
he actually got a chance to get up, and she
actually got a chance to let him go back outside again.
And I prayed again, And so last last thing I
talked to her was he was out there really having
a good time on the John and jam and uh
(07:07):
Mary go around and we're gonna check and see how
she got a chance to get him back in the house.
And we just want to let y'all know that baby
boy is gonna be on her and a couple of
weeks we're gonna blame baby ball so he can have
something to say. But anyway, once again, we are last
week Boosts and TJ and myself, we we had a
special guest. I remember TJ. TJ was saying, I don't
(07:28):
know how I told her gonna have somebody to come
that's gonna do mislove because you know we had miss
Love on and then when I told her I told
him we had Jesus Christ, he got excited. She got
so excited. So TJ, you know what, you gotta remember
that everybody this.

good afternoon everyone. First of all, I must tell told
I that I want to thank him for giving me
the opportunity to let the world know how good, how
much Jesus Christ means to me. And I want to
thank Valerie for always trying to keep us connected on
(08:29):
this and and keep this part going. And then my
brother Bruce is always right there to back me up
when I need my when I need a little back
up every now and then he's right there, right there.
It was last week. It was an unusual not an
unusual show. It was a see me, let me. Let's
start from the beginning. First of all, I always want
(08:51):
to let toll I know, look, whenever you have a
guest on, it's always somebody that we're not familiar with,
and it's always seemed I could that person with that testimony,
that's going to fit right in on today's part on
today's show. Now, last week, the guests that he had
(09:14):
planned to have, I think it might have been the
little cold little yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
The guess that he was going to have wasn't able
to make it for whatever reason. And he said, you
know what, guys, We're going to have a special guest
today and it's going to be Jesus. And that meant that, hey,
(09:37):
we can just talk about the Lord and shave of
Jesus Christ. I remember writing a few notes down because
everything else I couldn't couldn't write and talk at the
same time. But I do remember things like this, Jesus
would tell us what to talk about. He's going to
(09:59):
tell us what to say and how to make our
confession about Jesus mean something to this listening audience, and
there was no trouble. Just talk about the Lord, talk
(10:20):
about how good he has been to you, talk about
how good he is to your family, talk about talk
about what things make you happen, and you know that
it's all happening because of the Word, because of Jesus Christ.
And I remember talking about my great grandson joining church.
(10:41):
He HADJN church a couple of Sundays before that, and
I was still on a high bout him joining church.
I think he's about what twenty one now, Yeah, he's
about twenty one or twenty two. And he came to
me and he said, grandfather, he said, you know what
he said, I think I need to church. I wanted
you in church. We had talked to his dad about it,
(11:03):
and he had talked to his mom about it. And
that was such a blessing to hear that God can
work in ways that we're not even thinking about it.
I know, I'm praying for my grand great grandson, I'm
praying for my family. I'm praying for them all the time,
and didn't know, didn't realize that God was really letting
(11:27):
me know, you know what I need to let you
know that I'm answering your prayer. I hear what you're
asking me, and so I'm going to let you know
in a way that will mean so much to you.
And for him to let me know that he was
wanting to join church, that let me know that. See,
(11:47):
God is good. He answers our prayers. And I don't
know if I mentioned that, but I should have, and
if I shouldn't, or if I did, that was that?
Was that what this show is about. People. Look what
we're saying is if you want to have a little
(12:09):
talk with Jesus, just go ahead and have a little
talk with him. That's what prayers are all about. If
you're having a little problem you want someone to hear
about it, why not let Jesus hear about it. Because
he said, look, bring me all of your trials and
your travelations. You bring them to me and I'll work
them out for you. You're going to have a few
(12:30):
problems every now and then, but they won't be everlasting problems.
I want you to be happy. I want you to
be happy. I want you to I want you to
just enjoy yourselves right here on earth as you would
in heaven, just like the Lord prayers saying all of
the time. Look, when when you talk about the Lord Jesus,
(12:51):
you can't talk about anybody else any more than that.
I mean, look, Jesus, is he I had any I
happening to happen that Sunday morning my neighbor, Miss Mayfield,
And I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind me letting you
(13:14):
know about her situation. But she was feeling bad and
she wasn't going to be able to make the church
she wants to know. TJ. Thomas, can you come bound
your way? Because I thank you and your wife will
probably go to church right here. Well, what I want
you to do is I want you to stop buying
pick up my tithes my tithes for me today because
I won't be able to make it. Not knowing that
(13:35):
she was ill, I said, sure, no problem, And when
I got there to pick him up, I said, love,
Miss Mayfield, it's anything you need me to do, just
give me a calling. It won't be no problem. I
can say. If I can't do it, I can work
it out. The way can be done. But the thing
about that was that I didn't know she was sick.
(13:59):
I didn't know that she needed help, and that was
a way of the Lord letting me know. Whatever you're
supposed to do. You're supposed to love everyone, love your
neighbor as you will love yourself. And we talk about
loving our neighbors all of the time. And our neighbor
could be right down the street, they could be two
(14:22):
hundred miles away. And that's what he wanted us to
talk about last week. Talk about him, talk about what
he means, talk about talk about how he loves us.
Let everybody know, let everyone know that can hear your voice,
that you're here to let people know that God is

the answer. If you have any type of situations, if
you have anything that might be of a of a
problem or a situation, get in touch with him, Let
him know what's going on, Let him be of part
of your life. Always make it. Make it known to
him that, look, you want him to be in your

life all the time, every single day, every single situation,
it all, it all starts with the Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. We've got to always remember that. If we
remember this, at one time, we didn't have those kind
of situations where we could depend on someone. But when
(15:30):
he died and he rose to our sins. Anytime we
make a mistake, anytime we're sinners, we may as well
go ahead and admit it. I'm a sinner, and look
what I do. Know that I still have a Lord
and Savior that's gonna love me. He's going to always
love me, he's going to always forgive me, and he's
(15:52):
always going to let me know the Look, if you
have any problems, you bring them to me. Put your
faith in me. Put your faith in me, Thomas. This
is what I want you to do. And that's what
I try to do every single day. Every time I
get an opportunity, I try to let someone know what
he actually means to me. He loves me. He wants
(16:16):
me to love everyone, and he is telling me, if
you can love me, Thomas, then you will be able
to love everyone. You will be able to forgive. You
can forgive the people that hurt you, and you can
forgive the people that talk about you. You can forgive
the people that might have some little animosity in their
(16:37):
heart towards you. The only thing I want you to
do is just know I can forgive you, so you
can forgive everybody else. And don't you forget that, Thomas,
and that's what I try to do, is to forget it.
As while this program last week it was we were
talking about what Jesus actually means, how good Jesus see is,

how good I was having their father is, we have
we have, we have an awesome God, y'all. God is
so good. He's awesome. And if we can let the
world know, if I get the opportunity to let the
world know how good he is, that's what I plan

I mean that, uh, the focus should be on Jesus Christ.

love this podcast because this podcast is always going to
be about Jesus Christ. So it doesn't matter what's going
on in in the world, with politics, whatever, Jesus is

trust God and and that's that's what it's all about.

have Jesus in your life, you're you're You're never alone

get excited because I know our heaven and Father's his
will and He's the only way. And and John fourteen
six tells us Jesus says, I am the Way and
the truth and life. No one comes through the Father
except through me. It's about Jesus Christ. Y'all, no one
else know other God. Jesus Christ is the only way.

And you also come where the poem. Will you serve
and will get scripture down regarding that Matthew five sixteen,
elect your life shine before others that they may see
your God. I'll see your good works and glorify your
Father in heaven. And again it's about glorifying our heaven
and Father. It's not glorifying yourself or or willing to

get a pat on the back or whatever. It's not
about you. It's about her heaven a father that you
don't want anyone to be lost. God doesn't want anyone
to be lost. So and as teacher talks about as
his neighbor, he's doing what God wants him to do,
I mean concern hibout his name, you know, and appreciate
him sharing that uh with us. And uh it made

me think about the Scots when when when they're all
uh one of the podcasts last year, uh, and when
they talked about don't be so heavily bound, but you're
no work really good. You don't get just focused on Okay,
I'm trying to get to heaven. But you're disrespecting your
your your brother, your your sister here on on her

It's all about how we treat our neighbor. And and
as as teacher was talking about, if someone does you wrong,
if you're home, you could give them. You don't have athmosity.
You're not plotting trying.

on a lot because I mean, so something boa does
something good to someone and they and they would have
plot and plan. You need to try to get back

spirit shall return to God who gave it. And God

price that power that the Christ are giving you.

power of the tongue. So we should be able to
walk in meetings. I have now I'm gonna now I

Say our all time. But God has blessed me to
be able to walk in meetings. And I'm an almost

take over the meeting. And I walked in different city
hall and walked in there the meeting and take over
the meeting. I walk in the school district all white
and take over the meetings. Because He have given us

the authority take over. And we have to know the
authority we have and believe in what we do. Have
the words by down and baffles and and UH. We
can code it all kinds of ways, but we know
how to activate it. And we knew how to do
the word. We have to do the words. And so
I'm so blessed. I came from a great family UH

in uh Carlton since eighteen hundreds and.

All my family led me as a child to Christ
and UH and I'm so blessed that all my family
served the law and UH we've been uh in a
town that uh that most of you guys don't understand
because you've never been in it and were only.

Ten miles away.

So the town I came over in, uh, we had
our own black neighborhood and were in the white neighborhood.
But I see, if you was in down No, if
that was stated in Annal City, you never have to
be involved in things like I was involved in.

If he's in ham De Park and went back and forth,
you never was involved in, uh, the civil rights and
struggled and things that. I mean, we had to go
through fight of freedom and justice and you never went
through that. You never had to see three thousand kuklut
hands downtown in Carleton. If he was the inner city
(26:15):
in North thousand or somewhere, you didn't have to go
through all that kind of stuff. So that's the way
I said that we learned to walk by walking authority
and going through things. And God is so grateful to
when he take you through things just the way you
learn things and you get educated, and seeing the wild
wise man we're hearing increases learning. So we had to
(26:39):
get increase our learning at all times, and we go
through things. It's not uh uh that we are sucking,
but it's a blessing to go through things. And I
gotta tell a lot of people that think I'm kind
of crazy, I say to them pain, pain is a friend,
and pain is a blessing that you get to the price.
Because if there's a pain and you there's something going
(27:01):
on wrong, and you got it and you go to
the docting, most people want to go to the uh
get medicine for the pain. But all the pain lead
the pain alone was the pain letting you know something
was going on wrong and you got it. The pain
a blessing God has given you for us to use.
And uh, it's it's your's issue, buddy. But then again
(27:22):
and telling us to you know, to get with them
and get understanding. And now that's really what we really
have to do. And in the book telling us the
trust in the Lord and do good and well in
him and feed you up only his safefulness.

Going through all my life and going through different times
that I was so blessed to be under the great
families and and this community, I was so great that
I did uh uh get a relationship with Christ at
a young age because Uh, I was sixty seven years old.
(27:59):
I was kind of starting doing civil rights work. At
that age. I was going into the all white neighborhood
that uh, we're supposed to be going into because I
was curious about how I was they doing so good
and we wasn't doing so good? How was they operating?
And so I would get beg my dadd to let
me get a job where I could go and work
(28:20):
in the white neighborhood to just to find out. I
would go in their homes and use the restaurant, my
peep all around their rooms and houses, just trying to
figure this thing out while wasn't treating us different. And
I know to God that they talked telling me about
it my church, UH was saying we were blasted. They
were blasting. I was seeing them doing so much better.
So God blessed me to be the type of a child.
(28:43):
I thank him so much that all my time in
my life been dedicated from me young to be serving people,
for people to be a better people. In this town here,
I'm about three miles from where I was raised up
at and been in. Now, you most people don't stand
the talent no eighty something years if they can tell
(29:04):
you about who went through the things that I could
not go into, uh city Hall, the times and I
went on here they called police arms and a lot
of things I couldn't do. But now they cannot even
go in the city hall to see. Go on my
streets twenty fifteen and name of the streets back of
the city hall where the police got to come to
work and the city got to come to work. And
(29:27):
in order to city manager, they can't come come to
work right to your day. Let's they come on my
street the name of Rainwater Lane in twenty fifteen. I'm
not I it's God. If I'm gonna telling you how
God is blessed and how God moved and the things
like that. And I had the great opportunity to be
to be used. And uh that's why he tell you
(29:51):
all the time to get get get a good understanding
by the life and everything.
Speaker 5 (29:57):
But I did, Uh Washington, Yes, you know, I want
I want you to shout because I see that I
want them to know how how how you you listened
to God when He's always spoke to you. Shout about Uh,
I know you had a kidney try planning and uh
you had the one opportunity to having the first one,
(30:18):
and and it was your time, and you let somebody
else go in front of you. How come on, I
know that, I know, I know the devil could have
did that. I had to hear the Lord there, let
you go, Let the other person go talk about that
because people got to understand how you trust God so much?

So shot shore that with us.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Okay, yeah I will, Yeah, that's the direction I'm gonna
go down, all right, But I want to say this
here too. We have to be offered about about my
life and through my life. Now, uh, we offer now
always you the devil made me do this, and the
devil made me do that. You know, life is a
choice life, and uh, we have to make choices, and
(31:00):
you got to make sure that you make. You speak
to your Christ first and hold the spirit and get
them knowledge to I mean, ask them for knowledgeal wisdom,
so you can get wisdom and you can get understanding
before you make a move. Most times we don't do that.
We move on our owns and says a man thinking
it in his heart. So we have a tendency want
(31:20):
to think about things ourselves and move on our own
and get in trouble and that's how trouble. That's why,
that's why a lot of things come up. But coming
right back to that, uh, while I say that while
I'm petting you that I was our church. We was
at we uh I was doing well and running in
his job. And so I think the parents is somebody
(31:42):
at your church said, well we all uh contacted the
person that up on home and detap. I'll thank you
gathered back here about to detach, clean your body out
or something. That's the way back there. And uh, I
was stupid enough to to go go along with that.
So what you send a doctor? Call to doctor Oklahoma,
and he was send you uh uh a kit that
(32:03):
he would uh urine in and send it back in,
freeze it and send it back and all that. And
I started and in South he sent me all the
old pills and also I guess four a thoundred dollars
and I'm on detop and everything and people the church
did it. That's why I keep saying, we got to
get some wisdom and got his knowledge. But was a
point about it that was that wasn't a doubt. That
was the season I made a stupid of men being
(32:25):
ignorant myself uh, to start taking me pills. So I
wanted to much. It's come and started bothering me. And
I went to the doctor and uh, he said, well,
let me give you something. I went to the regular
doctor here. I called him back and they said me
something elf. I went to the regular regular doctor and
he gave me a suh, I'm gonna little pills and said,
you know, no problem, think the nerves or something. So
(32:46):
I want to say, well, I told my wife. I said, well,
now I'm going to the I'm going to the veteran
house dealer. Was that gonna drive your blood right then?
And this first thing they do? So I went out
third and uh uh the guy uh. The doctor came
back down said we got a bed for you. But
I was still feeling good. Said yeah, So I said okay.
(33:06):
He didn't go tell my wife. So I came on
out and told my wife, let's go baby, but I
didn't tell her. We came on home. About two o'clock
that day. He called and my wife answer the phone said, well,
your husband and husband is supposed to be in the bed
and I'm recording this because I'm not gonna be reponsible
him if you die. And Uh. So I went in
and I went to my uh regular doctor and it's
(33:28):
not possible, but you didn't have no kidney problem because
this last year ago or thirty days ago, we just
had a task and everything and uh from that we uh,
there's nothing wrong with you. But come on in. I
went in and come find out I did. My kitty
was gone, and uh, he said, well something you did.
(33:50):
You shocked him. They don't kit no go out the fad.
You never had a kid in the problem. But I
told him about to be talking and showed him the
pills and he say, you kill shock your kidney and
I knocked the mouse. And now you got to go.
I said, well, no, I'm not going on no Dallas
and that's the kids, you know, and I pray you
to seek your Lord and stuff. I wasn't going, but
I had to go ahead and and uh, I got
(34:12):
so sick. So I had to go ahead and go
to the doctor. And once I got to the doctor hospital,
he said, well, no, we ain't got no room. After
we had talked, I asked you to come one in early.
I said, well, I'll tell you what. I'm not leaving here.
You're gonna do something right Now that's how sick I were.
So they operated on me in uh in the in
the office because they said we can do any here.
I pull the shots. Well you're gonna have to do
(34:33):
it right now. But anyway, that's how sick I was
kidding it. My batty was parson uh to make it.
Then after that, man, it's just that I was so
uh shocked that I had to go on Dallas. I
went on dallasa and uh for seven years. And as
I went there, I said, well, I'm not gonna let
(34:53):
the Lord. I'm gonna let the devil beat me. I
got to figure something matter on this deal. So I said,
I want to walk about faith and not a sight.
And I'm here if I'm here, and by his stripes.
I got the egglack. I'm here by stripe. So every
time I get to die, see, I was jumping straight
my head up and walk high on purpose, uh to
(35:14):
let the other people see and uh and and build
my confidence up. Uh so on the way out, and
you know, want for somebody to come out there leaning
all those because if you so weak I was, but
I wouldn't. I was straighten up and laugh and smiles.
I don't walk by sight and believe that I'm heal
in the name of Jesus. But I said on seven years.
And after seven years, I uh, and I got to
(35:38):
sign up for transplant kidney. And uh. After I signed
there for the kidney, at that point I got saying
all the pains and things you don't you never get hurting,
no more pain weren't no pains. I mean you get
you can get your point where pain hurt, don't hurt
no moment, and you can get so close to the
price that the you know, you're just floating in the
(35:59):
area around. That's really true. There, I'm telling you get
hurt things so much.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
But anyway, I just throw I signed up for dolls
and I found up. I mean I signed up for
the kidney, and they so the way they called me
up a kidney, and uh, you would call you boy
two in the morning. They called me a couple of times,
I mean two in the morning. And so you got
a kidney for you And my spirit said no, don't
take it. So I said, no, I'm not gonna take it.
Get let's somebody else have it. And I said, uh.
(36:26):
So after that uh, and came up again. I prayed
and lost, said well, and now I don't take this one.
So I called him back and said, don't take it.
So I went through five of them and I turned
down five of them. Went on almost about a year,
but I was doing well. And the point about it
is that I just kind of failed in my mind
the spirit which did my nurse will shed real tighten
(36:49):
me anyway, real close.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
To them in my and everything.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
So she was telling me, I mean the life that
I saw, I saved lives about letting them have the
kidney because they were about to die. And and I
wentn't But I got so blessed was that the one
I sided to take it? They called I didn't know.
I was at Saturday the morning when the wife woke
me up and he called, and my mind said, I said, okay,
(37:12):
I'll be there just like that, And the whole surger
just told me to go take this one. And I
got there. This one was twenty three years old. Never
had no problem nothing now and now I've been walking
around now about twenty three or twenty four years with
a kidney and never had no problem or anything. Do
everything in the world or want to do. And the
God so so grateful. I tell you, and so we,
(37:35):
like the words said, trust in the Lord and do
good the well his land, and see you on his faithfulness.
We have to walk by faith and not by sight,
and sometime we have to give up some things. Some
time I haven't listened to the spirit can be so selfish.
And I was just thinking so much that I wasn't selfish.
The life was saved just because I would followed the spirit,
(37:57):
and they were so excited to just see didn't know.
We talked about it later, the doctor and everything that
how did I do that? And everybody's begging for one
and everybody said to hell one and I said, well,
I had no problem. The spirit just told me don't
take it, and I had uh time to take it.
You told me to take it. And I've been so
blessed ever since. I tell you, God is great. God
(38:20):
is great. That is great. But we all had to
move to the Lord and trust in him. That's the
key thing, trusting in God. So I wrote a couple
of books. While I was on three books, and I said, well,
you know, uh, I'm gonna let the devil beat me.
(38:41):
And while I was in there, I started training. They
made me at the dills, the place. The guy came
out and the directly telling how great I was doing
a walk in person out to had and the main
office came out and talked to me and asked me
about being in charge of U the dolls, the people's
working with the they had problems to work with the
(39:01):
director they had directly couldn't help me. For them to
contact the main office for me became the main offer.
Do I understand they gave it. They raised me up
and gave me a thought here and because I will
walk on my face and uh walking out with a
thought it. And when I walked in and I although
I was, you know, hurting sometimes, but I walked over
the thought it because I believed that I was here,
(39:22):
and I was here, and I said, inscription in scripture,
and uh for rent to tell you that uh nor
we getting way up to escape? And I always stood
on this script go always gave me a way to escape.
And I tell you, when you put your your your
lives in God's hand, your mind and your spirit, it's easy,
(39:45):
he said. He said, chance on me, all your parents
on me, and his yoke is easy. It's really truly,
I'll tell you, but you have to it's easy to
study and it's easy to say things. For God let
me go through it to be able to experience. And
I'm so blessed and I'm so happy today that I
went through it, and I learned so much and made
(40:06):
so great a man out of me and changed my
life to learn what love is about, and changed my
life to want to put everybody else first before me.
God is so grateful, grateful, And from that I got
had opportunity to started ministering and all over the state
(40:26):
and were driving and stuff. And from that, after that
I ended up and just uh, God came to me
from Allison Airport, met enough guy and said God told
me to fly y'all where y'all need to go to
ministry all over the prisons in jail. So we go
to Allison, get on this airplane, fly all over the
ministry all over you know, I mean Texas. And I
(40:48):
was doing the downtown New Stirt getting I end up in.
Didn't didn't up and didn't didn't count it ministering up
there everything. But I understand how God usually when you
just following him and give your life, you have to
give your life to a completely. You can't be halfway
in halfway out. You have to give him all you got,
all you got here.

I am here, I am God.

If you're ready to come back and get me, to
get me today, I'm ready to go. Just do what
you want to do with me doing work in my life,
and let me do a work in here on earth.
To you for your people. Your people are hurting. Your
people didn't need confusion, don't know a lot of the
same loss and everything else, and don't know what's going on.
So I just give me a knowledge and give me wisdom.
Let me bless your people. So that's why I stand today,

and I'm so happy to be able to go through things.
I'm so happy to be able to go through. What
other people are suffering is a blessing for you. Pain
is a blessing for you. You have to get to
a certain point in God's Christ be in you and
pain you find out, pain is a blessing for you.

you're saying is and some of the things that we
erecho and because we always talk about giving give just
give God a chance, just give him a chance. You know,
I always allowed Bruce and TJ. To have uh something

just either to echo uh on what some of the
things you're saying. So t i'mnna give you opportunity. And
then then Bouce, I know you, I know y'all been listening. Man,

because we are re understand that one day everybody's gonna
hear God. Uh, they're gonna get to knock at the
door and it's gonna be their time. It's gonna don't

That was a real, real testimony, and that's what this
podcast is about. I do want to share a few
couple of things with you though your brother Ray, Charles
and Charles Ray, we were all at brother T Washingtgether
(43:25):
back in the back in the days when i had
a life before Hamilton Poyd. So I've known the rainwaters forever,
I mean for years. Guy. I know at one time
I think William Price, Robert Price, might have been a
minister over there at your at your church in Carrollton
before he became the member of here and I and
(43:46):
at knew my design and he shared a couple of
he shared a couple of testimonies with me. Now, going
back to what you were saying, God has given you
this setback that you had. What you said was nothing
(44:06):
and there was nature, But He wanted you to take
this setback and tell the world how you came through
this setback. And it wasn't anything that you did in particular.
It was everything about the Lord loving and caring about you.
It was he who saw to it that the right
(44:27):
doctor was in your life. It was he that was
that was that was that was around to encourage you
and discourage you from having certain surgeries at a certain time,
all of the things that was happening, he was the
one that was doing the guiding. He was guiding you.
He wanted you to have faith and what he knew
(44:50):
and nobody knows anything like I was Lord and to
save to Jesus Christ. Now for you to go through
those situations. His reason for taking you through those situations.
He wanted you to be able to tell the world
about it. And that's what you're doing today. You're letting
us know the look. You may think you know what's
going on. You may think you know what you need
(45:13):
to do. You may think he said, put all of
your faith. You said, put all of your faith in
