any kind of way that you can. And so so
being that that's the case, uh, you know who this
is just killer into everythil you do, Lord, Bannis, boy

(01:48):
Jum and sometimes so Fit and I get excited every
time I get a chance to come on this podcast
with Bruce and TJ.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I get exciting because we loved the Lord and and
I always got to give Bruce and TJ an opportunity
to talk about last week's podcast.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
We had.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
We had doctor Babybaugh on last week, and we also
had my brother Marshall own Doctor Marshall I Own, and
we were we were dressing some of the issues that
could help somebody that's maybe even thinking about suicide. Or
got some kids that are struggling, and so so I'm
gonna go and open it up before we bring our
guests on it, you know, But I was, you know,

(02:27):
all over the world. Y'all gotta know that we got
the Mail of Hampton part. That's right, TJ. The mail
help the part. And I gotta tell y'all last week
there's nobody here before we said, that's who we wote.
That's who we wote, and that's who we got. So
so Bruce, let TJ go first, man, and then you
follow up man, and then we'll we'll bring our guests on.

(02:47):
So go ahead and teach that you can. You can
just reminiance back home last week, how we were really blessed.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Okay, thanks very much, told our first of all, I
would like to uh take gifting order to guard and
how thankful we are to be blessed to see another holiday.
We did celebrate over the over this during this weekend,
this Fourth of July holiday, but last week when we

(03:13):
uh we we didn't realize it until last week that
last month, the month of June was a mental awareness
month and our guest last week was a doctor Marshall
and our own doctor Harry Everett and those two brothers.
They gave us some insight on how and the best

(03:34):
way to deal with mental uh deal with mental health,
whether you're a world of it or not. There are
some certain signs that that may pop up every nine then,
and it may be some signs that you may see
in other people or you may recognize those signs in
yourself as well. So they both were both in accord

(03:56):
with saying the same thing. Practically, the testimonies were basically
the same, with the being mental awareness one. They wanted
us to try to recognize the signs that might sometimes
show up and sometime they won't. They also wanted us
to know that it's not it's not anything to be

(04:18):
ashamed of if you might think you have some mental
situation that you might want to go to a doctor
and see about. As a matter of fact, they suggested
that that's why they were on this program on the
podcast last week, was to make us a word that, look,
it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's something that can
be cured. You can't be healed. And they also wanted

(04:43):
us to know that. Let me see, both of them
were basically saying the same thing, Like the signs, you
will be able to see and it will not hurt
to go get help. You you you're you're familiar with
physical illnesses, and you'll go get help immediately. And if

(05:03):
you see some mental signs and says that you might
need some help, you might not be so quickly to
go and get some help. But it said don't be afraid,
do not be both said do not be afraid, and
they even quote it some scriptures in the Bible. The
word itself says, don't be afraid, says the Lord, get help.

(05:26):
Excuse me. Let's say, the soul can hurt. The soul
can hurt and the people that's which you can be
hurting at the same time, and you're not aware of it.
So let the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit do
it when it's work, when it's time for him to

(05:49):
do his work. And the thing that we can do
better and more than anything else is to love everyone.
Love each one of us. Leave love, love, Love the
person that you might think might have a little issue.
Uh love everyone. Learn what what love is, and learn

(06:09):
to love the Lord first. God is. Put God first
in control. Make make him look at the control of
every little situation that you have and don't be afraid
to talk to God. Uh. Doctor Harry and doctor Marshall
said the same thing, talk to God, Let's talk to

(06:33):
the Lord one day at a time. Love, let's see
le lean on Jesus and not on anyone else or
anything or anybody. Jesus's number, make Jesus number one in
your relationship. And let's see, let's see each other, let's

(06:55):
make let's make each other aware that what that you
are not alone and falling falling? Uh uh, this under
the under the influence of mental health. And then we
had told lot to close this out with the poem,
and the poem was, uh, he guides me and and

(07:17):
and he his his poem was really saying, when difficult
situations come around, let him let the Lord be your guide.
He guides me, he guides me, and he guides you.
And basically that was that was that was practically it
was a it was a big shout out to Mental

(07:39):
Awareness Month last week. And uh again, I want to
thank doctor Harry and doctor Marshall for the information that
they shared with us.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Okay, Bruce, sure, yeah, I appreciate you, TJ. Praise along
for you. And I'm always excited to be on the
podcast because I'm uplifting in our heavenly father. So and
we know that our heavenly author is Will and we
know that this podcast is needed to spread the word

(08:10):
that if you don't know Jesus turning life over to him. Uh,
your doctor Marshall Wassenbacher, Yeah, Uh, thank him for being
on the podcast last week as a tej in the
TNNEDEE counselor the counsels the teenagers and adults. And the
first thing I want to say about him is that

(08:32):
likely he said that he consults with God while counseling others.
Praise the author. That, yeah, that he consults our heavenly authors.
He's not just leaning on his own understanding. He talks
about playing at the time that he's consulting or counseling
someone so that he knows what the appropriate thing to

(08:55):
say or how to respond appropriately.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
He talks about that you share that you know, if
you know someone you know that are struggling, you know,
you just have to look for warning sizes or changes
and in their and their behavior. And if you are
in a situation like that with someone, be patient with them,

(09:20):
no validate what they're saying. Without disagreeing. Don't just dismiss
what they're saying. Have compassion. And then the key was
was having compassion. And one thing that they're really resonated
with me is when he said, let them know there's

(09:43):
always a way out no matter what you're going through,
don't don't give up. There's always a way out. And
and it begins, of course with Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
In your life.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Uh wrote the scripture I go for one thirteen the
states for I the Lord your God will hold your
right hand, saying to you you're not I will help you.
And and in this world we know you may be
tossed to and fro, but just hold onto Jesus hands

(10:20):
and he won't let you go. And brother Harry said
things are similar, of course to what the doctor Masbacher said, that.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
God loves you and has a unique.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Plan and purpose for you. God loves you, and that
you're unique and no matter who you are, God loves you,
and then he has a plan for your life. And
and like that he said, when he's Uh the counseling
someone that that he listens, okay, in the same as

(10:57):
doctor marsh Broke listen and validates what the person is
saying and and and he also talks about not accepting
the diagnostic labels for people we know society. That's what
they they love to do, say that you're this and

(11:18):
that you're that. No, we're all children of God. And
I like that. He he said that that that we
are our image barriers and that we are created an image.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
And likeness of God.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Praise the Lord for that.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
And he talks about, uh, focus on.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Renewing your mind and and and how do you do that?
We're positive faults, the positive thoughts and and in the
last hair, I want to stress that brother Harris said,
don't give up you matter, don't care for you matter

(11:59):
by It's similar to what uh doctor marsh There's always
a way out. And perfectly to them being on the podcast.
They help someone that's struggling pray the hard and looking
forward to the podcast to.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, I'll tell you Bruce and TJ makes me look
so for it. Yeah that when they come on the podcast, man,
they I tell you they really really uh help us
go fishing for souls. And that's the reason why you know,

(12:37):
when you when you when you just let God take control,
you know, That's why I tell people that this podcast
does not belonged to me, you know, because Bruce gets
a chance to express himself all the way through whatever
God wants and see in his heart, no interruption. TJ
gets a chance to express himself all the way through
until God finished with it, no interruption. That's the way

(13:00):
it's supposed to be because God can speak to offer.
And I'm just really I'm blessed to have uh my
brother brutes on the podcast and teach on the podcast
because when they speak, I know it's gonna be God
speaking to them. So guess what I do. I just
sit back and listen. It's back and listen and just
say thank you, so you know, thank you brother Bruce,

(13:20):
and thank you PJ for man for y'all the way
y'all break down the previous guests that come on, y'all
do y'all do an excellent, excellent y'all man, and if
any this is the podcast the way y'all, the way
y'all summarize it together. Man, it's a it's a blessing.
I'm just I'm just exciting. I'm excited, you know, before
I before I bring on my guests, you know, I'm

(13:41):
back to my back, got the baby Ball story. You know,
so the fact of baby story, y'all can't believe it
because this is the thing that's happened. Bruce really missed
doctor baby Ball. Y'all don't understand what has happened since
Bruce beat doctor baby Ball on this new health of
whine walk or walk run, Bruce, it's been messing up

(14:02):
Doctor baby Boy. So doctor Baseball, like I told y'all
last week, doctor baby Ball got some chickens, and uh,
he got his chickens in the backyard, and and what
was happening. He was chasing the tickets, chasing the chickens
around life. Remember of Colinsfield Drive when we had chickens
and stuff. And so doctor baby Boy been chasing chickens
and all of a sudden, the homeowners association said, uh,

(14:22):
doctor doctor baby Ball, you got to get the ticket
and the tickets gotta gold. So chickens Doctor baby got
rid of the ticket. I don't know if he I
don't know if he plucked them and cooked them, I
don't know, but the chickens are done. But this is
how he's in training now, and I think he make
it through since chill, because this what he's training, Doctor
baby ball is going in the neighborhoods the people that's
got dogs and the fence. He's running alongside the fence

(14:45):
with the dog. What the dog chasing? He want those
side of the fence. But this is this is the
reason why I think he's got to bruce this this
next year, coach, doctor baby ball came up to to
where it was a It was a yard that didn't
have no fish and the dog wasn't changed up, and
Doctor the baby boy looks realized the dogs changed up

(15:08):
the baby all the way home, Doctor Baby got in
the house and he was almost paying. And you know,
I love to call my sister long ain't pound barns
of it? He said, what's happening?

Speaker 3 (15:19):
What's what's song?

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Doctor baby Bunce, he said, I just got changed hold
about people say so it don't be suck it, don't
be hard and boos to be doctor baby boy this dad,
because they out of pet bull.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Fast.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Anyway, we just we're taking for the baby buy story
and now we get we get a chance to bring
on our kids. I'll tell you I'm blessed because you
know Bruce and tz I always want to know man.
I told him me kids, why well, I'm gonna tell
you how I met my brother, Harold Franklin. I got
him at Krogers. I was, I was, I was getting

(15:58):
the wallmelon, you know, and I'm I'm a little country
myself because I grew up on poling field time, you know,
chickens and everything, killing pigs, and so I'm looking at
the watermelon. So I'm like, okay, you thumping the watermelther
something I'm shaking. So my brother, my brother Franklin, how
he came over. He said, brother, let me, He said, brother,
let me tell you how to show you how to
pick a watermelon. He said, you see that that at

(16:18):
yellow spot, That means that ballermelon been laying on the
ground too long.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
And I was like bow.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
So he actually picked up the watermelon for me. And
then we was walking in the store just talking. He man,
he man, he spoke. He spoke a blessing over my
life and was telling God, got some things store, and
it was just a real blessing and we just continued.
I said, man, I gotta get you on my podcast
because he told me a story that I'm gonna let
him tell and and about the lady that that he

(16:46):
helped and I'm not gonna even start so so my brother,
brother Harold Franklin, man, thank you, thank you so so much.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Man.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
And you know I told you, I told you when
you when you were coming on.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Man.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Whatever, but God puts on your heart to talk about them,
because I know you're a man of God and you
love the Lord. But you've got to tell a story
about the lady that you the health and and.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
That you go, you go, you know what, you know,
you know what, my brother limit, lem me tell all
y'all something man.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
And and in life, in Jesus Christ, Lord Savior, give
me you life. You go through so much and a
lot of people don't understand. I was listening at the
brother tell my men of problems. Ah, and this is
something I want this governess.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Men.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
A problems starts from slavery. A lot of us don't
know that because a lot of us don't really research it.
N A problem starts from slavery, from my grandmother being
a slave on down. We never broke that curse. So
I broke that curse from my children not to spread

(18:00):
to my children because my ancestors was messed up with
non a problems for what they went through so I
broke that curse. So everybody in life had to break
that curse for their children to move on to better likeness.
If you don't break that curse, is hindered your kids.

(18:22):
And a lot of people don't understand that it comes
right back and handles your kids.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Say.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
It's very important that you keep God and the large
Savior and faith in your heart to keep you going.
Without that, you can't do nothing to help no one.
You got to first help yourself. That makes sense of powerful.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Powerful. I know blutes and teachers were grievous because that's
what we that's what we talked about in this podcast. Man,
is that is that inner man, you know, making sure
that you got that relationship with out on the inside,
because if he's on the inside, he gonna show on outside.
But you got a fern hit him on the inside.
So so Bruce got him on the inside. The teacher
has got him inside. My shoes side and got him

(19:11):
on the side.

Speaker 4 (19:11):
Man.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
And so that's why we got you here, because you
got him on inside.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Then the shadow stitches, then the shaddy stretch chub. When
I was a little boy, I'm from New Water. It's
not an let boy. My grandmother told me. My grandmother
was one hundred and four. My great grandmother was one
hundred and four, and we had a live village that

(19:42):
my grandmother she didn't meet the eight kitten, and she
ain't turkey, and she ate a lot of fish. The
girl a lot of butter beans, oakries, carrots and all that.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
She told me.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
One day she said, pick pick them greens and take
it to each and one of them. And I say
to myself, I say, why pick the greens and get
everybody some food? And ain't nobody come here and help

(20:20):
up to growing? She say, And I want you to listen.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Make me good.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
She say, you respect me. I'm the leader. When I leave,
I talk to my father in heaven. He tells me
what to do, not you tell me what to do.
Go take them greens. So I went and took them
greens to everybody around it, and then lived in it

(20:48):
everybody around there. And then she say did everybody get it?
And I say yes, ma'am. She say, now this is
something I want you to always remember. You give, you receive,
you don't give, you know received. Two days later the
man killed the cow and bring meat around everybody to say,

(21:11):
this man to say this, that's why it's so very
important to pray, to give, to help people. We are
people that don't want to help people. Man, they got
some people. I said, it's very very selfish. I see

(21:32):
the homeless. People walk over the homeless, won't feed them.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
You know. For to give, for to.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Receive, you have to give, a lot of people don't
want to give, but they want to receive. So in life,
how could you believe in God when you don't want
to give. How could you have faith when you don't
want to give? How could you have trust when you

(21:59):
don't want to give? You got to give, And a
lot of people don't want to give. So to say,
is ain't a sistant looking up and don't look down.
You can take a walk, You can take a horse
for the river. This can't they him drink, but you
can need him there. So that's the way SoC idea
is now. People dad being stubborn. People don't want to

(22:21):
help people, People don't expect the people, People don't know
how to talk to people. People, everybody got an attitude.
And right now we need prayers bad, man, We really
need prayers bad in the whole United States. God help
us home. They're supposed to be in God we trust.
See I'm still saying this God we trust that had
a lot of people don't trust in it. For the world,

(22:44):
it's chaos. So we really need prayer house, man, We
really need prayers.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
You know, Brother Franklin, going right, Man, I tell you
that's why I love them God. What you just said
leaves me right into the question that I want to
ask you when we You know, because I titled this,
God didn't uh you and you talked about give and
to give you can you can receive? I want you
to show about how you gave to this lady that

(23:17):
was on the side of the road.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
The thing, the thing about that is, man, you know
when you when you look back, see when you when
you look back, how you It starts from your foundation
where you come from. You know, I'm gonna put it

(23:44):
to you like this. I'm gonna put it to you
like this because I'm gonna share this with you.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Me and my wife.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Okay, we had a bus. We had a bus road
of people that we moved to Buffaloo to Louisiana. It
was it was a job, but job. My wife is
already in Okay. We took people from the nursing home
and took them and had him to Bugloo for Louisiana,

(24:13):
not knowing the stone gonna come false Burgloosa to Louisiana.
They send them people falseter stone that are sending them
people away from the stone. When we got to our destination,
that old people was, it was so many old people sick.
They gave them a school. So my wife was working

(24:35):
at the school. Me and my eight kids was at
the hotel. So I come and help my wife with
the people. Then I had to help people. Some people
died in our arms.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
You know.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
All we can do is just cover them up, you know.
But people gave us food, and all I can say, love,
We got all the food and ain't got no way
to cook it. I said, farther than heaven, what do
you want me to do? And then seven came to

(25:11):
me and say, get the toolbox. I said, Lord, I'm
gona cook on a toolbox. He said, be humble, get
the toolbox, open the raw, pull the cold in there,
and cook off the top of it.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Hmm.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
I said, okay, my father and help. So I got
the toolbox, pulled it out, my truck took the bottom.
I put the cop talk off in it and I
need it and it started getting hot. I said, two
hundred and twenty people man on a toolbox.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
So what I'm what I'm telling you is all you
got to do is just be humble and don't be
quick to answer him control you, not you control him,
and you're game. But a lot of us don't want
to listen. You gotta listen. God guard marker, garden marks,

(26:12):
you mark the other brother in the video station, mark
the other brother, the sister she marked, God mark all
these people for to do the work. And people be like,
why you got great hair? That's a mark. You don't
get great hair from but we don't get great hair
from work. You get great hair because God mark you.
You got wisdom and knowledge and courage and understanding. And

(26:36):
a lot of us ain't gonna get that because of what.
We don't want to be humble. We all want to
do things all way, end up getting killed in the
ship because of what on a fast pace there throwing down.
You got to slow down and understand. You can't get
nothing doing fast. Ain't up two things and jail you're
the dead nights. You gotta take life slow, not fast.

(27:05):
So he ent present. They part for all of us
to understand and talk to the young youth, because that's
who really really need us to young people. The young
people really need us. But how can we help them
if they don't want help? All you can do is
pray for him and keep moving the ones that won't
help you help. Tell what you think about that, my brother,

(27:33):
Well you know.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
I'm already I'm already knowing that my brother Bruce and
t J is fired up man, because you you you're
doing what you're talking about, what we want to talk about.
You talk about you give to receive, You're given, You're
gonna receive, You're given God how to give. But you
still got to tell sell the story about the fact
that when you have the lad on the side of road,
because I want them to hear the story, because because

(27:54):
our collegies God did it is the only one that
you got to tell this from.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
You got you know what you know what really it
brings so so much, so much, bro? You know is
does that make tears come a bus man?

Speaker 2 (28:10):
You know?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Or it's a journey, Bros. A journey you go through
and when you go through so much, you talk to
so many people. What life really is. And on the
inside it hurts my brother with all I've seen you know,
or helping people man, uh, you know, feeding people, you know,

(28:43):
trying to make we help people to get set with up.
It's a journey, man, it's a journey. It's a journey.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Yes, help you a little bit because I want you
to be sure that you tell us this story. I
want you to give us a good testimony today because
this is why God, this is why God put us
in the position that we're in. We want you to
tell your story and tell them your testimony so it

(29:10):
can make them better people. I'm I'm writing everything down
that I that you're having to say. I'm I'm writing
the poet down to where you and you in told
I met out of Kroger Supermarket and Jesus gave you.
He and you started talking about how Jesus had given
you a new life. You said that your ancestors had

(29:31):
this curse for a curse. So God was God was
in your life and got this curse off of you.
God first, God is first in your life. That's what
you're continuously saying, and that's what we are continuously saying.
He said, I was, I was I I was, I was,
I was. I was just a little boy listening to

(29:53):
my grandmother. My grandmother shared with me. She said things,
he said, things like what food we should eat, Like,
eat you a lot of greens, little boy, this's what
you need to be eating. You don't need to be
eating a whole lot of mess. She respected the heavens,
she said, and I want you to learn how to
follow God. She was a prophet, and that's what you

(30:17):
are telling me, that she was a prophet. And you
didn't even know that she was a prophet, but she said,
but I want you to learn how to pray, and
I want you to pray that you can help people.
Little boy, she's talking to her little grandson. She's talking
to you, so you can tell us what she told you.
And that's what we wanted to hear. She said. She

(30:37):
wants you to love one another. She said, Believe in God.
Believe in God, my little grandson, Believe in God. Be
a giver. Be a giver, not a taker, she said.
And be sure, be sure that you help your brothers
and your sisters. Trust in the Lord. You said that
over and over, was continuously, and you said, when you

(30:58):
look back and That's when you start asking yourself, well,
am I now where should I start? Where will I
go from here? My storm was to my storm was
to share with people. My storm and my story was
to give to people my storm and my story is

(31:21):
to love them. My storm and my story is to
be humble, help them, help help any way you can
be humble, Let God lead you. God has things for
you to do, and he has things for you to say.
So just be humble and talk. Take talk to the

(31:42):
young people. Don't forget to talk to the young people.
Don't forget the talk, and pray for them and tell them,
tell them your story. He wants you to tell me
the story, So tell me the story.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Hell yeah, I don't want to tell your story about that,
all right, I'm gonna tell your spirit. Okay, this is
the fruit spiry, all right?

Speaker 2 (32:05):
All right?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
That really happened to a guy that my grandmother, my grandfather,
best friend. He had a mechanic job and we back
then it was what fifty five fifty six, fifty seven
Galasy five hundred and forty nine full Chevrolet Cross and

(32:31):
excuse me, he said, he said, I want you to
I want you to go crank the car. Up, and
I say, why I got to crank the car. He said,
crank the car and make sure the temperature getting hot.
And the night it was a nineteen fifty nine Ford Galaxy.
I ain't gonna never forget. And he said, uh, did

(32:54):
you crank it up? I said, yeah, poor park cranked
it up.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
And uh.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
He said, uh, I'm gonna walk. I'm gonna walk over
there and move and moved the barrel. I said, no, Papa, don't, don't.
Don't walk over there and move the barrel. He said, well,
why are you telling me don't walk over there and
move the baron? I said, I don't know, but I'm
telling you don't walk over there move the barrel. So
he said, well, is the reason why you're telling me that?

(33:19):
I said, well, I don't want you to walk over
there and move the bed. Just something don't feel right.
He said, he's something up for your right. He said,
did you say your prayers morn? I said, yeah, I
see my braveice morning. He said, okay, all right, I'm
from the walk. So he started walking. When he started walking,

(33:40):
the car, RPMs came up. When the RPMs came up,
the synchronizer in the shifter collapse. So when the sink
of knives and the ship collapsed, the car jumped in gilt.
When the jumping guilt all right. By the time he

(34:01):
was in the walk, I jumped off the bellrels and
caught him in his chest and pushed him against the wall.
When I pushed him against the wall, the car dies
wiped them and went on through the hit the wall,
hit the wall and went through the building and went

(34:23):
down in the off of the back wheels in the air,
and the car was just running, running, running, running. So
I jumped down and turned it off, and I said, Papaul,
you all right? He said, son, He said, what.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Did you see?

Speaker 3 (34:48):
I said, I'd just seen something that I couldn't explain.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
He said, you know what?

Speaker 3 (34:54):
He said, that was God. God was preparing you.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
God.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
He said, I want you to do this from this
day on. God got a purpose.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Yes, I want you.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
To stay humble.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
All these boys that you fool with, back up a
little bit, back up, and start reading your Bible. God
got a miss for you, had a listen for you.
And let me tell you something, man I done. I
have seen so much, so much, man, so much coming up,
and uh, I just thank God that I made it.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Thank Jesus, Thank you Jesus.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
I thank God I made it. Man, if it's if
it's a journey, it's a journey. What you see as
a kids coming up? Yes, you know. Uh, I'm gonna
tell you something us and then this is gonna be it.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
One day we was at we he had a I
had a Camaro, a sixty nine Camaro or I had
a full twenty seven minute called a rat full speed Monsey.
I had four ten years in the back of it.
Because I'm a mechanic. And I told my grandfather, I said,

(36:20):
I'm I'm going to the track. He said, going to
the track. He said, why are you going to the track?
I said, I just I'm going to the track and
try it out. And he said, because guard gave you
the nourice. The building that doesn't guard didn't give you
the nice to disrespect it. I looked at him. I
stopped and looked at him hard, and I said, what

(36:40):
are you saying? You started me the drag racing. He said, Son,
it comes a time where you have to back up.
All the things that you do for so long, you
have to put to a side. Except Jesuit trist in
your life and leave cards alone. Yes, So I said,

(37:03):
that's how you see your grandfather. I said, well, why
you taught me?

Speaker 2 (37:06):
He said.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
I tought you for a reason, he said, but also
I want you to be a wise man, not a
foolish man. I said, okay. So I said, I'm still
going to the tax I went to the track and
I had my I had my severe on the trailer
and everything, and uh, when I pull up, I had

(37:27):
my friend, my friend about Hey, man, what you gonna do?
I said, Man, I don't know, I said, my grandfather.
You know, he kind of mess with my head in
the bit. He's trying of wonder, shoot I pulled it off,
or don't pull it off. So yeah, go on. He said, Man,
We're gonna go over here and help this man because
he got a flat tie on his nose.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
I said, okay.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
So we went on over there and I told him.
I said, he had one of these jacks that they
carry their feet. You put the jack on, you put
it in the bumper. They had a rug that goes
in the bumper and you flip their stretch and you
jack up. It's an old jack. You jacket up by

(38:11):
the bumper and uh, I told him, I said, man,
you need to put something up under that. And uh,
he said, I'm gonna be all right. I'm gonna be alright.
I'm gonna do this night.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
PRIs.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
I whooped that man and take that money. And I
looked at him. I said, man, money, everything in life
mean more. And just like that, like were standing there
with about three of us were standing there, and we've
seen the car rock on the rock. It fell. When
it fell, it fell on him. When the car fell

(38:44):
on it, he was hollowing. And we we tried, we tried,
we tried, we tried. We tried to get it up
and try to get it up and all out. Louis said,
oh Lord, give us the strength to get it off
the blood. And somebody come. We don't know who it can.
It came and picked him up. It was a man

(39:05):
came and picked it up and put it from Monday.
And he kept going. And when we looked, he vanished.
And I told my friend, I said, man, that's a spirit.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
That's an angel.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
That's God, God sent a spirit. Help n I said, man,
from this day on, it's old for me. I'm not
doing the more drag race. I sold my car and
I got into something else. Man, But make a long
story show I have seen things that I tell people.
You live and live right, you will see things. And

(39:44):
when you see things, don't be afraid. It's this God
preparing you to spend more time with him. I will
cherry lifted stuff.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
So what's your name of brother?

Speaker 2 (39:57):
You're talking to? TJ? Har you you you you? You
open up the light, you shed it the light on
the whole story. The whole story is to put your
hand in Jesus, put your life. Jesus is the one.
Jesus is the way maker. Jesus is the one that
guides us. Jesus is the one that's gonna help us

(40:18):
when we can't help ourselves. Jesus is the one who's
gonna be there when we need him. Jesus is the one.
It may take some of us a little longer to
find that out, But once we find that out, then
we shall have the tree of life. Then we shall
be set free. Then we shall do.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
You know, t J.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
That's no power what you're saying. In And I know
I know Booth got it, Booth got his checks. Who's
gonna man, I think I think he's thinking, you want
to go back to one way again?

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Go ahead, Yo, Well, I don't know, so I got
a lot of things that's still running around in my head,
to be honest with you. But the first time I
really I want to start with is the how you
how you met uh mister Franklin. You said in the
in the Kroger store and that looking for a watermelon.

(41:15):
I mean, yeah, and part of that you mentioned chicken.
I mean, it's a lot of stereotyping that's going on
there to be be I know, you were looking for
something else me other than.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
But when it put it together like that, it just yeah,
just like a lot of stereotyping, that what's going on?
But anyway, yeah, and the and and and the other
comment regarding the the problems that are passed down from generation,
I know he started with that. Tracy Green actually was
was on the podcast he was March of the last year,

(41:52):
and she talked about the inner generational psychological trauma, uh,
that that we go through as a result of the
the issues that we've had with the color of our skin,
and and talked about of course, I mean, the way
to overcomebat is to have the relationship with our having
their father, which of course that's what this podcast is

(42:16):
is about.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
It.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
I appreciate the things that mister.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
Franklin has stated. Number one being prior, that we know
how significant and how important prior is and and that
we be humbled, that that we humble. Uh that self
pride wi uh pride cons are forward destruction. Bible talks
about that so and God can't use us God God

(42:42):
a lot of you know, a puffed up appearance and
know which mister Franklin had pretty much uh touched on
and uh like he talked about his relationship with his
with his grandfather and establishing the uh uh and instilling
in him to have that personal relationship with their heaven

(43:06):
and Fator right and and what I'm hearing from his
life experiences, you know, God is well. God set him
in the right direction so to live out his purpose
for his life. And and I know that's what kind
of brought you to to together the cause of that

(43:30):
and to have them on the podcast and to to
help help others. And you know, we talked about the
social issues that we have, but we know those are real.
Those those issues are real, and especially with our youth,
which yeah, he touched on that also. And we we
have to be an example, as he alluded to the

(43:51):
four of you, the youth, And we don't have to
be you know, up in a pool pick. I mean,
we just every day people stayed a mouthful. You just
say a mouthful. You just say the mouthful of my brother. Yes,
you just say a mouthful of my brother right live
down there. You got tears coming in my eyes. You

(44:13):
just say a mouthful of your praise, praise alaw for that.
It's just people that we come in contact with, just
being ourselves. Christ is living within us. You know, it's
going to country, it's going to.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
We will have to go around then. O.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
I'm all about clients are trying to say, you need
to turn your life.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Over to Christ. The way that we're living, the way
that you're going to see that and say it's something different,
there's something different about this person.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
It wasn't it.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
You're gonna change lives the Lord, thank you Jesus. And
that's what it's about, changing people's lives. And and it's
and and as you was stating, I mean, his life
has changed, and now he's influencing others to turn her.

Speaker 3 (45:06):
Life over the injured Jesus Christ. We know it's it's
not easy.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
We don't through struggles.

Speaker 3 (45:10):
But your struggle, which you will have develop your spiritual muscle.
And Harry touched on that last week.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
About hope, but hope, you will lose your hope.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
No matter what you're going through, you will lose your
hope if you have that relationship with our heavenly father.
Once again, your strouggles will help develop her spiritual muscle.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Thank thank thank you. A brother Franklin, you know.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
You know, you know what, my brother, I appreciate. I
appreciate that, but you know what, you draw something to
my attention. You really brought something of my intension.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
My brother.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
About about five years ago, uh, I met a white lady,
a poor white lady. Uh She had a nineteen sixty
seven number. Her daughter got life in prison, the son
got life in prison. And both of them got their

(46:10):
kids living with their mama. And then the boy. I
had a shop and let him Texas. And then little
boy came and bought my applies and he said, can
I use your pride? So I said, sure, you can
use my prize and let me use my applies. And
he fixed his bike and took my prize. So I
followed him around to his house. So I knocked on

(46:33):
the door and I asked him, I said, is your grandson?

Speaker 4 (46:36):
Yo?

Speaker 3 (46:36):
Your son? She said no, it's my grandson. She said
what he done? I said, he got my prize? And
she said you've been stealing. He said no, Grandma, I
didn't steal it. I just I just forgot to give
it to him. And I said, well, this give me up.
And she said he don't eat nothing, but give me
all kinds of problems and this.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
And that and that.

Speaker 3 (46:58):
I said, I'll tell you what I said. I see,
when you get out of school, I want you to
come around there to my shop. So when he got
out of school, he came around to my shop. He said,
what is this. I said, I'm gonna show you how
to make honest money where you're gonna have to steal.
And he said, are you gonna Are you gonna show me?
I said, yeah, I'm gonna show you because somebody had

(47:19):
to teach me. You mind me of me? He said,
I remind you of you? I said yeah. So I
went on and showed him how to take breaks off
and uh put brakes on. So he helped me with
the break. So I gave him thirty dollars. On I
gave him thirty dollars. Man he left the bar, said,
and he took home.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
He took go home.

Speaker 3 (47:40):
So I'm saying to myself, I said, you wanna get
your bike back?

Speaker 4 (47:43):
And he ran home.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
So something told me, she said, frankly, you need to
go around there because his grandma would think, you know,
being in somebody house or store. So when I went
around there, his grandma had the broom, and I said,
what you about this? She said, I'm gonna beat him,
you know too. I said, no, he didn't steal.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
He work for it.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
She said he worked for it. I said, yeah, he
worked for it. And she said he don't do nothing
but steal. I said, no, no, no, he worked for it.
She said he worked for it. He said. She said,
he said, yeah, grandma, I won't give them money to
you to help us with the bills.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
Just like that.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
And when you say that, and weakening like like something weakening.
So I said, y'all, y'all got food. She said, we
got in there food. He get commodity food and uh,
I said okay, So I said come back over there,
so he'll come back over there, and I teach him

(48:42):
and give him money to help his grandma. So one
day he had all the time for to go to school,
and uh, I asked him. I said, y'all got your
school clothes? He said, mit the hair? He said, my
grandma is fake? I said, your grandma. She said yeah.
She said she ain't doing good. I said, well, what's wrong?

(49:06):
He said, I don't know. So I went over there.
I said you're all right? He said no. He said
I want to tell you something. I said, what you
want to tell me? She said, I'm dying. I said
you're dying. She said, yeah, I'm dying. I said, oh,
what you want me to do? She said, would you
take them? I said, I don't take them? I said,

(49:29):
you got any more children? She said, I got a
son in Philadelphia. I said, what you want me to do?
Send them in Philadelphia? She said, but I'm not going
to live alone. I said, you're gonna live long. You're
gonna live a long. She said, why you got more

(49:49):
faith in me? I said, because I believe in God.
God work in mysterious ways. If you got faith, she said,
you know what, I'm gonna hold you to that, I said,
I know, so she said, you know, so, I'm a hole,
you tell that. So after that she started getting a
little better. She started getting a little better. I never
found out. Well. She was really sticky to the end.

(50:11):
So the lit boy called him and said, mister Harra,
we ain't got no where to get to work. I said,
what do you mean, you got no where to get
to work? Your grandma ain't got no where to get
you out of school? She said, well, we ain't got
no where to get to school. She said, a car
on run. I said, what do you mean, a car
on rune? Said the car on line. I said, okay,
all right, So we went around there and we got
the old. The old it'd be a nineteen sixty five

(50:36):
Nova station wagon. So I got the car and pulled
a car to my shop and the transmission was gone,
but I had another transmission. I start the transmission in there.
I got the all lead.

Speaker 2 (50:49):
They must have.

Speaker 3 (50:50):
Called me round by what about four five hundred dollars?
I got it, I got it working, and everything start
hold around that back to us, Me and the kids
over around it, and she said, I ain't seen this
car run since my hubma died.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Hmm.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
I said, well, you got transportation now to take the
uh take the kids, drop the kids off at school.
She said, how could I pay you? I said, you
don't pay me. You just put what you got in
church and keep going. She said, you really mean man.
I said, yeah, I mean that. She said, but I
mean you're dad. I said, you're not in my death.

(51:26):
I say, God bless me to help you. So take
take the gift that God give me to help you.
You don't owe me nothing. She said, you just don't
know how much I appreciate it. I said, I understand,
but bore. She took him to school. So the little boy.
I seen the little boy about three days lady, he

(51:47):
comes down. He said, with the hair. He say, damn
on not moving. I said, what you mean, your grandmother
not moving? He said, she's not moving here the little girl,
can't she say that the hair grandma not moving? I said,
what you mean? Said she's she's not moving. So when
I went down there, when I touched her, the body

(52:08):
was cold. So I asked the kid, I said, I
had to call her. I had to call the police.
I called the police and they came out, and uh,
the conner came by and uh. She died of cancer.
The cancer ate it up in augans efforts and uh,
I said, well, where your uncle at?

Speaker 2 (52:29):
He said, I know my.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
Uncle phone number? He said, I know my uncle phone number.
I said, you know your uncle phone him. I said,
you need to call him. So he called him and
he say, he said, my mama passed it. I said, yeah,
your mama passed. Man, Yeah, you need to get down here.
So he said, I'm on my way. So he came
and uh. They got together and the little boy told

(52:52):
me said, mister Henry said, I don't want to go
with my uncle. I want to stay with you. I said,
you can't stay with me. Your uncle needs you more,
needs you more than me. But if you need me,
you call me whenever you need. I seen you and
he said, mister Hell, you ain't gonna never. I ain't
gonna never forget about you. I said, I ain't gonna

(53:12):
forget about you, So you ain't go. A month later,
a month later down the line, he called his uncle
called and he told me, he said, man, thank you,
thank you for teaching my nephew. He said, we were

(53:34):
stranding on the road and I didn't know what to do,
and he knew told me direct what to do to
kid us home. And he said, Man, that was a
blessing that you tied him and he ain't forgot it.
I said, man, let me.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
Tell you something.

Speaker 3 (53:52):
That's the key the successful helping those that can't help theyself.
Remember that and from that day on, my man, it
taught me something. You can be down one day and
the next day you can be up. As long as
you got Jesus Christ Lord saving your Jesus. All right,

(54:16):
you got state, you got love, you got understanding, and
you got humble, you got respect and you got understanding,
go right there.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
With you every day.

Speaker 3 (54:31):
Yeah, we ain't leave you. You leave him, And that's
something we got to really realize. God never leave us.
We leave him.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
M hm.

Speaker 1 (54:43):
You know, you know, I tell you, brother Franklin, man
so so so touching. You know, we've we've got a
lot of people on the podcast, a lot of people
on the podcast Bruising over two and a half years,
Boosom TJ came out of Witnesses. Even before Booso and
TJ came on in still you know, was doing this
and Man, to have someone to come on and to

(55:06):
talk about giving man, because that's what the country that's
what we're missing, is seeing the need and then trying
to meet the needs. And I'm so thankful that you
are talking about giving giving. That's what we do with
this podcast, Man. We give of ourselves. We give, we give.

(55:27):
That's what happens to people that come on just like yourself. Man,
you've given you shine. You know you telling you, you're
speaking from your heart. You know some things that went
on yours and years ago can bring tears to your
eyes right now because it's just like it was yesterday.
And Man, I'm just for you to come on her
and pull your heart out like you pulled it out. Man,

(55:48):
I'm touched. I know Bruths and PJ are both becaus.
I know even all my listening audience that are selfish
that have heard this, I hope this podcasts will change
you to want to give, to want to make a
difference in somebody's life. I mean, brother Franklins talked about
the toolbox, but God gave him away to belive, to

(56:11):
feed two hundred and twenty people. If a toolbox, y'all
gotta understand how good our guard is. Y'all gotta understand this,
and that's why we that's why we get on this teacher,
this is podcasting, and we and we try to shine
and make a difference. And and and I'm brother Franklin.
You gotta I'm gonna tell the story. If you don't
tell the story about the about the lady, about that

(56:32):
you helped on the side, you gotta tell that story, man,
because that's that's a blessing for somebody. I'm not gonna
let you get I'm not gonna let you get off.

Speaker 3 (56:40):
You know what, man, I ain't sid but I you
know what, I just don't order to talk about it.
When you tell it, you get it. You tell it, right, man?

Speaker 1 (56:54):
With you?

Speaker 3 (56:54):
You tell it, tell it, you.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
Gott I tell it.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
You tell it.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
Okay, you tell it?

Speaker 3 (56:58):
And I probably but you know what, you know, you
know what, my brother man, that this was something I
want you to understand.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (57:05):
Let me tell yourselfing and this is something I want
I want you to understand. I want all the other
brothers to understand. I don't want all the sisters to understand.
When you are humble, yeah, yeah, all right, When you
are humble, you be quiet and you listen. Yeah, you

(57:27):
let God speak to you and God tell you what
to do and what not to do. Yeah, that's what
you call being obedience.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
A lot of us don't understand obedience, follow listen, follow rules.
A lot of us don't understand that man. And that's
why so many of us dying in the streets now
because you don't want and you don't want to listen
and be humble. Yeah, it's the key to successful. It

(58:08):
is alas humble. You got to you gotta crawl before
you start walking. You can't walk and don't crawl. Dont
word like that. You build a house from the ground up.
You don't build a house in the top to the bottom.

(58:28):
But the young people don't understand that. And I've been
trying to get them to understand.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
One thing.

Speaker 3 (58:34):
You got faith you can make it. You got hope
I can make it. You got trust you can make it.
But it all boil down into my father in heaven.
Do under others that you want others to do under you?

Speaker 2 (58:55):
Yesh, Yeah, that's why.

Speaker 3 (58:59):
Then that's why they're on the money is the ruler
all evil, But oh money, this is our powerful God
is oh money? What do you put and God? We
worked trust, but we got the trusting him. No other wait,
we gota. So it's very important to know who you

(59:20):
is and what you put your fuck you.

Speaker 1 (59:23):
Know, and that and what you're saying is so true.
And and so I'm gonna shot, you know, because God
is putting on my heart to shore. And then if
you jump in where I make a mistake, then you can.
But but I was talking. I was talking to my
brother when we was in when we was in Kroger,
and we just we just we just got a chance
to fellowship right down and Kroger up and down Aisle.
We just we just were fellowshipping right and uh. And

(59:44):
he started with me about the time that uh, there
was a car that was stopped on the road side
of the road and and it was a lady and
now with with some kids and and so uh he
saw him and passed down and then turned back around
and went to help him, and and uh so the
little girl was uh was talking to him and and said,
we know our car won't start, and and when you
helped you, when you helpless, and and she said he

(01:00:07):
he said yes, and then she said.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
Uh, well I know you will.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
And then found out that the little grandmama uh couldn't talk,
and uh so he he checked it out, and I
remember the story told me that the battery, uh was
the cable was loose and the battery wouldn't work. He
went it went in bottom of bottom and battery and
came back and put it in and and cranked it
up and and they were trying to paint. And you know, no,

(01:00:31):
I can't take I can't take it, you know all
I'm not. I don't I don't want no money. I'm
doing it. And then he said, drove a little lot
and drove down and had to stop somewhere and hold.
The spirit told him to go look in the trash can.
And you know, and that's this brother being obedient. You
know how I look you you you you're gonna stop him.
You going and running through the trash can. So he
goes and he looked at it. He going through the

(01:00:52):
trash and then they said go dig a little deeper,
and so he digs a little deeper and he finds
the wells fargo a little powers and got a hundred
fifty dollars. Now that's why I t this podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
God did it? God?

Speaker 4 (01:01:06):
Yeah right, you got it right, You gotta right, You
got it right, You gotta right, you got it right,
I was. You know what, man, you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
I thank God for you, Bro, I really do, man,
And I'm gonna tell you and I'm gonna tell all
y'all what's y'all progress, What y'all got going on? Man?
Make God gonna bless y'all. All right, God gonna bless
oh y'all what y'all doing. And I'm gonna share something else.
This is your radio station this year, y'all. From the

(01:01:51):
growth y'all, Finn go to another level. So don't be
surprised as blessings start pointing that radio pature because uh,
who all for God? Getting ninety who all for God?
Getting nied? I get and I say ninety get blessed.

(01:02:13):
And the reason why you're getting blessed because you're doing
God works. So when you do the work for God,
then glory comes.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
You know, all the shapes all form.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
But remember this, whatever you do and God we trust.
When you trust in Him, everything else is gonna fall
in place.

Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
He saved that from me, you know, yeah, because he
blessed me when I was in the store and he
just thought he just start just just pouring blessings out
of my life, telling me about you know what God
got in the store and I and then and then
it just it still touch me. It touched me right
now sometimes when I think about some of the things
that he said, you know, and uh, it's just you know,

(01:02:58):
when you when you out when you trying to do
what God would have you to do. You know, That's
why I appreciate Bruce and and and t J and
body on the podcast because and we don't we don't.
We don't care about nothing but serving God. That's all
we care about. How we care about.

Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Bruce.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Yes, let me tell yourself, man, I want you to listen.
Let me get it. You're special. Yeah, He's special.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Appreciate your saying that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
God bless you. Hear me.

Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
I'm gonna tell you why you're special. Hello, we will
all right. I'm gonna tell you why you're special, Bruce,
because you as a leader, and we don't have too
many men that really can lead in prayers put you

(01:03:52):
in that position to leave. So you're doing your job,
my brothers, so you got more blessing coming to you.
The other brother.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
What the other brother name.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Z TJ.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
Hold the folks down through with the pressure because I'm
gonna tell you something. The good lad got something for
you too, all right, Ah, don't be surprised if somebody
famous walk into the radio fash. All right, all right,
you hear what I'm saying. I ain't talking about music.

(01:04:33):
I ain't talking about uh jazz. I'm talking about gospel.
You hear what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
My brother God.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
For the spread the word, to give energy for people
to hear what's really going on in the world. Because
a lot of us are blind changed seat. That's why.
That's why God told the uh the blind man, you know,

(01:05:05):
let me wash your wash your eyes out with mud.
So he washed his eyes out with mud where he
can see a lot of us can't see. All you
brothers in the radio station can seek. That's a very
very very powerful annoying him that y'all can see.

Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
So y'all get work up. Y'all got blessings coming. And
my brother, my brother, you you my brother, yeah, you
my brother. Let me tell you other you go on
to another level too. So keep your fake, keep your will,
keep your trust, keep your humble and may God be

(01:05:50):
with all y'all man, because y'all blessing man. I'm glad
to talk to everybody I enjoying myself today is a blessing.
It's a beautiful day.

Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
You can't ask you no more than what you with.
What that happened today. Man, Uh, we're here now. We
don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow. We don't know what's
gonna happen the next day.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
You see what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
But one thing I know, and God, we trust we're
gonna be out right.

Speaker 1 (01:06:16):
Yeah, I said, you know, hey, Michael, I tell you what, man,
the blessing man is for you to to be able
to come on here and pour out your pour out
your heart. Man, I know, I know all the stories
that you told was touching to you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
Man, I know it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
You know we you know, teacher come on the boat
with a lot of handkerchiefs and call it. We come
on the boat sometimes, Brother, it's some it's some crack
on this boat.

Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:06:43):
We get so happy then we get you.

Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
Hey, man, we get happy on this boat. Man, this
is a happy boat. You can just talking about the
live man. You might everybody here's somebody blowing their nose. Man, know, Man,
so we stolen up. Man, I'm telling you just made

(01:07:10):
us happy today.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
Man, you made us man, And.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
I'm just so thankful man. And you just was opening
up to us. You just open up, and you just
open up.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
You know what, you know what my brothers. Let me
tell you something, man. Uh, I lost my I lost min,
I lost my my mom, and I lost my dad. Okay, Uh,
me and my wife. We took up my parents. My
daddy had all the timers, he passed away. Then I
had my mama. Had a boys. Out of eight boys

(01:07:45):
and number four of us living well. It ain't four
of us living night, only three of us slipping. But uh,
my oldest brother, we were very very close, man, and
he got hooked up in them drugs and uh and
I had to I had to get away from him
because he started me food with the drugs. So on
the end, I wasn't got help.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Or I left went to New York. You had an
old friend of mine's, man of priest. I stayed there
almost a year, almost two years. You don't work around
at the catlic place and stuff, man. And when I
came back, I can't. I left Baton Ruins and came
straight to New Orleans. I wanted to come back to
New Orleans. We were full of drugs. And on the end,

(01:08:27):
I want to try to listen to me what I'm
about to tell your own the end. Uh, when my
brother got locked up, I told him, I said, man,
I'm getting locked up because the daddy's died. You won't
be able to go to the funeral. So he got
locked up. He couldn't go to the funeral. So when
my mama passed away, Uh, my mama told me to
call him. So I call him. I told him, I said, Mama,

(01:08:49):
I want to see you. Man, mama ain't doing good.
He said, well, I can't come. I said, if you
get here, I paid for your ticket back. So he
didn't come. And I went on and took you in
my mother, me and my wife. And on the end,
I gave my brother my daddy house. I gave my
other fact in my grandmother the house. And my oldest

(01:09:09):
brother told me, said, man, I can't make it. And
I said, what you mean you can't make it? He said, man,
I can't make it. I said, June, the public taxes
ain't number twenty dollars, The night bill ain't number bout ten,
about about fifteen dollars, the gas bill down, and I
be number by ten dollars, the water bill out and

(01:09:30):
I be number bout six dollars. What do you mean
you can't make it? He told me he couldn't make it.
And three weeks later they called me and told me
he was dead. The the sade this man, the say
is and I want you try to listen an me good.

(01:09:53):
Some people die from a broken heart. My brother, they're
living with my dad sixty nine years, no wife, no
churin nothing. He just get his head dad, lay down,
get up, my mama, wash his clothes. When my mom
and daddy died, he couldn't make it, so he greeted

(01:10:17):
hisself to death. So what I'm saying to you year
is man, life is what you make out of it.
You must keep going with you. An if I'd have
known that he had a broken heart, I would have
dealt with my brother different. But I didn't know his

(01:10:39):
heart was broken, you know, because I used to stay
on him by the rug that ain't gonna do no
food to drug and stay on him. But uh now
I look at like different.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
Some people they're stands strong. Some people can't. So that's
why it's very important how you talk to a person.
It's very important how you treat a person because you
don't know what that person going through, you know, So

(01:11:11):
when you get ready to approach a person, always ask
God to give you to spend and give you the
courage and speak wisdom and the knowledge and understand it.
You know, not to hurt that person feeling, because you're
gonna hurt that person feeling not meaning it, you know,
but you don't know what's going through their minds. So

(01:11:34):
it's very important that you you when you speak to
a person, be very, very humless because a lot of people,
a lot of people are going through things and we
don't know nothing about it, and you want to you
find out who you did there you die, I just
stopped doing you know what I'm standing saying, But it
still is kind of our hands is in God hands.

(01:11:56):
So all we can do is pray to get the
wisdom and nowage to unders saying people because a lot
of people you don't understand. You don't understand, man, you
don't understand anytime. Anytime, a dog you can get up
in the morning and you believe me or not, you

(01:12:16):
can get up in the morning and get up and
a dog or come in front of you and balk ruu.
And you're gonna look at that dog and say, what
are you barking for? That dog telling you good morning?
You know we're gonna say or he just barking, No,
he ain't need he came and face you'll say good morning.
In other words, you look at that animal. Shoot. See,

(01:12:38):
you don't know how, you don't know how things gonna
come at you. So you gotta be prepared. You really
don't have to be prepared. But when you be prepared,
be prepared in spiritual, little spiritual, in anything. So when
you speak, you speak spiritual, well you can bless others

(01:13:00):
to be blessed. All right, that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
I want yeah, take a minute TJ to thank my
brother for coming on in booth. Don't take a minute
to thank my brother for coming on. Go ahead, TJ.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
All right, Hey, yes, brother Franklin, God bless you man.
You don't really really know what you've told me today
and told this audience. And I'm going to try and
and try and wrap it up. Put a little ball
on it, okay, And this I want you to to

(01:13:38):
try and take with you because this is what you
left with us. You told us, you said, just be humble,
be humble, talk to the young people, praise for the
young people, and most of all, tell your story. He
wants you to tell the story. You said, my father,

(01:14:01):
it was my best friend. He said. Look, don't do
the things if you know they're wrong. Do the things
that you know that are right. Do the things that
you think will help someone. Do the things that you
think will help someone to be a better person. Do
the things, do the things. Put your trust in God.

(01:14:22):
Thank you, Heavenly Father. Thank you, my heavenly Father. And
then you summed it up with the angels will live
right with you every day of your life. If you
put your trust in your Lord and your savior, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your your testimonies. Please thank you. Please

(01:14:44):
please share it with others.

Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
Brother, Yes, yes, appreciate your brother hair and appreciate y'all.
It'll be to be with you on the on the podcast,
assuring your your life experiences, and just let everyone know
that God will God is real. If you're just trust
in health, not not trusting me, not trusting someone, not

(01:15:13):
even your your mother or your father, you gotta you
have to be all in with Jesus Christ. And if
you're a Jesus. I mean, as he said, then everything
else is gonna follow in the place. You're gonna love
your as yourself. I know he's stressing stress said a lot.
But the heir is stressed, said a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
You have to tear.

Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
It's like the podcast last week, but they were talking
about being passionate. You have to be compassionate.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
You have to care.

Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
Listen, Listen to what they're saying, Listen to what they're
going through.

Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Don't put them down.

Speaker 3 (01:15:50):
Hey, do God's will.

Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
Do God's will.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
And that's what we can say.

Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
We can go on and own and oh and.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
But the bottom line about Dodger having that personal relationship
with him and no matter what you're going through, this
is brother talked about he'll be there for you. What
else troubles that you have If you mentioned what the
drugs had truggles with drugs are my dad.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
But he overcame and I know he he has a.

Speaker 2 (01:16:26):
Story about that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:27):
I know also how the Lord helped you overcome. You
may be you may be spiritual blind.

Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
As you talked about, have their relationship, He'll he'll open
your I believe about on the podcast he's he's opened
someone's eyes that have been spiritually bond Open your eyes

(01:16:57):
and you can see the life that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
Life for him.

Speaker 3 (01:17:00):
Show me people like back don't see that light.

Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
Man Y's sir, Well, I tell you what, man, I
I'm just I'm just so thankful and and you know,
one of the things that I hope I hope to
my listening audience, uh take with him. And then he
talked about it, if you want to receive your first
got to learn how to give your parents, got to

(01:17:27):
learn how to kill. So I got people, y'all want
to receive. I want to receive this.

Speaker 3 (01:17:32):
I want to receive it.

Speaker 1 (01:17:33):
You better stopped and started to learn how to give,
learn how to kill?

Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
It didn't.

Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
I want to.

Speaker 1 (01:17:41):
I want to come it on. You tell me you
need to slow down. Slow down. You know, if you're
in your car, you're driving so fast you're gonna get
a ticket. But in light, you need to slow down
so you can find.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
These Let me say that, get light, that's right, so
you can so you know, shoot shoot shoo.

Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
Hoping that all my listening to audience out there will
take what my brother has said. I mean, he left
us with so many nuggets, he got so many fish
on the boat man. The boat is sinking. We gotta
give some of the fruit that we gotta get some
of these fish out the boat. Manna man, Man that

(01:18:27):
the fucker came on. And like I said, somebody listening
all this, man, we we we love the fact that
God chooses who he wants to be on his podcast.
I mean we don't. He chooses who he wants to
be on this podcast, and he brought him on. And
I'm telling you, man, I'm I'm so blast because he
talks about giving. You got to learn how to give.

(01:18:48):
People don't know how to give some of y' I've
been listening to this podcast for two and a half years.
Ain't ain't control the ten dollars at him to you,
but see it don't make no difference. But guess what
he know you get. We still push it away your
way it gets you. Don't keep going tension because we're

(01:19:10):
doing it because God has assigned us for this mission.
And I thank my brother for speaking for speaking over
Bruce's life. Thank you, my brother, Thank you brother for
