Speaker 1 (00:02):
God afternoons, we just want to say thank you, thank you,
thank you for once again listening in to the k
portray and radio poems and testimonies that can touch change
and maybe even save lives because we know that it's
all about Jesus Christ. That's what this podcast is about.

(00:23):
It's about Jesus Christ. And and we're always thankful and
to give a shout out to a lane Ford Johnson
that always posts up for us to let people know
and Hamlton Parks that were still going fishing. We're still
pushing out from shore going fishing for souls. And then
we want to thank the people that that contribute. We
need more people to contribute. We go into a lot

(00:44):
of different countries and we just want to make sure
that we get a value an opportunity to post us
up in different platforms so that more people can know
that there are some podcasts out there. The ki fortune
radio that are you talk about is Jesus Christ because
it's all about him. And you know, we're always thankful

(01:06):
to have my brother Bruce own and then the Mayorhampton
Park tj Uh. The fact is is that whenever you
get a chance to anybody on this podcast, We're gonna
be talking about Jesus Christ. That's what we're gonna do doing.
We're gonna be talking about Jesus Christ. And you know,
last week we had a guess that came on and
I mean just made a great, great impactent. We're just

(01:28):
gonna let Bruce and TJ comment on our guess that
we had last week. And I always try to leave
an opportunity for them because they they back in college, TJ.
And two, he in college, he taking notes, he got
he got his spiral notebook, taking notes, taking notes, and
so I don't want to take I don't want to
take away from them. I want to give them the
opportunity to always be able to share about the podcast

(01:52):
and our guess that we're coming on today. What a
bless and I just can't wait to get a chance
to introduce our guests, Russey Flemen, that's coming on.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
And but we're gonna give a way to boosts.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
You know, we you know how much we respect TJ.
How much we know, uh because he's poured into the
Hampton Park community. And for those of you who don't
know how many the Park community, boy, I tell you
it's a powerful community where well, anybody that grew up
in Humpton Park if they don't know Jesus Christ, it
wasn't a community followed. All themes was talking about was

(02:23):
the LAWD SO so TJ. You know, enlighten us on
last week guests that came on and made a great
impact and then boost and followed that behind you with
what he wants to say about I guess that made
that great impact last week.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Okay, okay, good afternoon everyone. First of all, I need
to think uh Told for giving me the opportunity to
always always give the world, give give me an opportunity
to let the world know how much the Lord means
to me, what he is, what he is in my life.
And that's what we tried to let the world know

(02:58):
doing our little podcast is to say let the light shine, always,
let your light shine for our Lord and saving Jesus Christ.
I want to let Valerie know if I hadn't had
an opportunity to do yet, to say, look, Valerie, we
want to thank you for always managing to see that
we're on the error and ready to go. And brother Bruce,

(03:19):
I want to thank you for your support. You if
you give me a great amount of support and it's all.
We're all saying the same thing here, people, and what
we're saying is let your light shine. Let your light
shine for the Lord to saving Jesus Christ. Now, last
week we were fortunate and we were blessed to hear

(03:40):
from a lady about the name of Catherine. I mean,
this was just a little plain common late that had
the world, had a testimony that was doing the world
of good. And her first few words, when I heard
her first few words, I have this little ooh, this
little feeling that this was going to be a blessing.

(04:02):
And what she said, the first few words of her
MOUs was I want everybody to know that I am
not a speaker. That's not mine, that's not my uh,
that's not me. I'm not into that. All I need
to know, all I need to tell you is what
the Lord means to me. Now that was enough. Right now,

(04:24):
she was saying, Look, don't expect don't expect to hear
this great, this great speaking attitude that most people have,
because that's not me. She said, I can't do that.
I don't do that. But I do want you to
know I am a woman of God. He said that
I am a woman of the God, he said, But

(04:47):
I had a grandmother, she said. She has some upbringing.
She said, she had a grandmother in her life, She
had a mother in her life. She had a grandmother
in her life, and she had a you know, it
was you could just see this little girl coming out
of her. Now. That's saying, boy, if I didn't have
my great grandmother, my grandmother and my mama in my life,

(05:09):
I don't know what I would have done. She said.
I came from a big family. She said. In some
some my son was deceased, and she said she was.
She she just had so many adversities in her life.

(05:29):
She doesn't see how she made it. She said, I
don't see how I really made it. But I do
remember my grandmother, my mother, everybody in my life was
always They would always let me know the look, you
can depend on the Lord and say it, Jesus Lass, Katherine,
you can. You can. You can depend on the Lord.

(05:50):
You can always go to him when you have a problem.
She said, I don't know what I would have done
without that leadership. She said. She was she that everything
was going up and down. Everything. There was a lot
of adversities in her life, she said, but I found out,

(06:15):
and I realized that it was the devil who was
trying to destroy my family. She said. She said. Look,
she said, uh, they showed me the way my grandparents,
my mama, grandmama, they showed me the way they kept

(06:36):
me in church. They showed me she said, I was.
I was. I was really considered a lot. This the neighborhood.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Mama.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
See, that was that light that was shining in her life,
in her life, that was showing her and telling her
if you're you may be having some situations, you may
be having some problems, but then there are some people
that's in your own neighborhood that's not doing that. Then
they aren't doing as well as you're doing. She said.
I stayed in prayer. I stayed in prayer all the time.

(07:11):
She said, I'm I'm blessed. She said, so. I remember
her saying, so let the light shine. She said. Daily
devotion was big for me. The daily devotion, my my
my going to my going to to the Lord in prayer.
She said, that was big. That was a big issue.

(07:32):
Sometime my husband might not have been as blessed, might
not have shown that he was blessed. But my husband
was a helper. He was a helper for me and
he loved his son. His death was uh was was it? W?
It was? It was? It was challenging to him when

(07:52):
his son passed. She said, you know what, he asked
everyone for forgiveness. My husband did. He has everyone that
he had heard, everyone that he had had may have
come in contact with and didn't have kind things to say.
And she said, and at the end of his life

(08:14):
he found the Lord. She said, he found the Lord
and that was so good for her. He was he
was the one that he worked hard, he kept the
family together. However, his life wasn't dedicated to the Lord
until the very end of his life. And she said,
you know what, God can do everything. And she changed him.

(08:38):
She said, God changed him. And she said, you know what,
and I'll see him again. I know this, she said.
We were all bond centers. She again talked about She
talked about the light of Jesus, and that reminded me

(08:58):
of something that I heard a few weeks ago, which said,
have you ever walked from a dark room into an
extremely bright space? She said, well, light as an incredible
power over our senses, and sometimes it can be overwhelming.

(09:19):
But the light is necessary for us to live. Light
tells us about reality, it illuminates things around us. In
Matthew five, Jesus uses various various light metaphors to describe
the life of disciple. She was a disciple and she
didn't realize it. He described the life of a disciple.

(09:43):
He said that his disciples are like a city that
only built on a hill that shines light into the valley.
And he also says that we are like a lamp
it gives light to a whole house. And the life
of a disciple of Gesus this is meant to be
like that of the light that shines brightly for others

(10:06):
to see. She was a disable and didn't realize it.
Her light was shining no, but people realized who she was.
People came to her. She encouraged people to stand devotion
with the Lord and say to Jesus Christ. She encouraged people,
that's what the light is, this little light of mind.

(10:27):
That was a song we used to sing a long
time ago. But it means this one thing in particular.
Let that light shine, Let it shine, and let it shine,
and let it shine. And that was that was a
That was the light that was shining out of Miss
Catherine last week, and that's what she wanted us to

(10:48):
all understand. And I always believe that there we're here
for a particular reason, and that's to let the world
know how we feel and what the Lord means to us.
And Sister Catherine, I told you last week, and if
you just don't happen to hear us again this week,
I'm going to say it again. Keep that light shining,

(11:10):
Sister Catherine. Don't never let the light not shine fro
the Lord and say the Jesus Christ thank you. Okay, Bruce, Yeah, You're.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
You're exactly right. Tj Earl is definitely shining. And there's
always only one privileged to be on the podcast. To
look the name of her. Hello, Father Jesus Christ. Uh
Captain McQuinn leader her last name. You want to make
sure I get that correct so people know who she is.

(11:43):
Uh mc e u n n is my understanding is
a spungl her last name. But she's a what an
exceptional exceptional woman to think. I mean, I just just
just think for about I mean what she was saying.
I'm just I just get moved. I want to think
about what she experienced and uh, what a warrior. She

(12:06):
was victorious over the spirit of Satan. Hear this. Her
son of college graduates and worked as a supervisor for her.
She stayed in was murdered. Oh in two thousand and sixteen.

(12:28):
Someone called her. She went over there and saw her
son laid out on the front porch, uncovered lane, the
police authorities standing there, and they indicated to her she
was a question why his body was uncovered, and the
response was well thought he was was homeless regardless of

(12:50):
that which you which you I don't elaborate on that
for further. Yeah, just and she had to had to
to see that she he knew, of course, and that
was an untruth. Again, her son who was a graduated
and was working as a supervisor at hard And she

(13:12):
also stated later on, and it was shared on Facebook,
her son was a drub dealer. Imagine that this.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
A good name. This man has a good name. Yeah,
but it was he was being defamed and she said
the devil after her. But she went on and stated
whatever the Satan, whatever Satan tried to discourage her, the

(13:50):
Lord gave her hope. God placed community activists or pastors
and and others in their life the Hepper. Eventually it
came out that four young men had killed her son
and one of them been at Joe first the similar

(14:13):
type situation, and was out and did this to her son.
Can you imagine the emotional pain Praise the Lord? I
mean that what again?

Speaker 4 (14:23):
What?

Speaker 2 (14:24):
I just get moved when I just think about her
being on the podcast and sharing that again, the emotional
pain that she had to be experiencing. And she asked
God to show her what to do to Jenuous and
and and the Holy Spirit instructed her daughter scholarship in

(14:46):
your son's name.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Pray God, Thank you Jesus.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Always on time, which is this scholarship now gave her purpose,
now motivated her. What are strong wrong warrior? She is
to have to endure this and to have this trend
to carry on. And so she's had this scholarship in

(15:11):
her son's name for ten years. So first the devil
will try to destroy her sons contained, but Jesus Christ restored,
Please Lord. So and the in the end stain thought
he was going to have victory. But by her faith

(15:35):
and works. You know what she told Satan, go to hell, says,
get away where you belonged? Where are you belong and
that's not useful. That that's that's will talk. That's will talk,
because I mean, this saga was trying to destroy this
woman's life and just imagine, I mean, staying your son dead,

(15:59):
have a to deal with that murder. And then on
top of that, it is a good name there's been
just tossed away, say that these human he's a drug dealer. No, no,
God is and she alive on Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus,
thank you Jesus. That's again, that was Catherine le quinn.

(16:23):
If you get an opportunity to go back and and
listen to that that podcast, and they'll move you. And
she appealed to others if they were possibly going through
an exceller experience that she had gone through. She was
giving you that, you know, the solution, the only solution,
which we always talk about. It doesn't matter what you're

(16:45):
going through. Jesus Christ, that's where your heap is going
to come.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Thank yes Jesus, Yes, I tell you. I remember that.
Her first words was I am a woman of God.
I'm not a great speaker, but I am woman of God.
She said those were her very first words, and you
could just feel it and then her last three words

(17:15):
was this. She was very encouraging. She said, God can
do everything. If you trust in him, he can do everything.
Everything is possible. That's what she said. That's what Mss
Catherine said, And she said with so much conviction and

(17:35):
so much faith until it just oh, it just made
it just put that warm feeling in my heart for
the rest of the week. That was a good one.
That was Captain Sister Catherine was a good one. Very good.
Thank you to Lord.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Oh no, no, no problem at all, you know, because
one of the things that I realized is that the
people that God chooses to bring on the podcast say
they gonna move up, They're gonna move us first, because
we listened on of that, you know, and so so
I just appreciate you and Bruce how y'all can bring

(18:10):
back and call a lot of things.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
I wanted to give y'all an opportunity to talk because
I know Miss Mcheuing really well, and you know, just
her giving me an opportunity to speak at her husband's
funeral was a was a blessing for me. And so
I'm just I'm pre seeing I still talk, I still
get a chance to talk to her. And stuff.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
So I appreciate you and Bruce really elevating what she
said so that the people will want to go back
and listen to that. That's k r Worldwide dot Com.
If you want to hear that, go back to and
listen go to go to the website and and go
to k r E Worldwide dot com. Not only can
you listen to that, when you can listen to the

(18:51):
previous podcast. And so we just want to say thank
y'all once again. And you know, we always try to
move to a little quick baby boys story, but before
I do the baby boy story, I want you try
to know it's telling the seven oh lord manis boy
and some of y'all soul visus. And I was excited

(19:11):
because my guess I gotta get to him. But you know,
doctor baby Boy's Bruce and my brother's baby brother, and
I kind of throw this in a little baby boy story.
I talked to him earlier, and you know, no, you
don't know fun of him on saying, but I know
one thing. You know, last time doctor baby Boy came
in from Chicago because he went there to get him
some twenties for his big for his big will. And
then when he came back. He didn't understand you can't

(19:33):
take a big will through a car wash, a regular
car wash, so he tried to drive through the car
washing and he got stuck. And when he got stuck,
we had to call the tow truck. And when the
tow truck came there, pulled it out. And now what's
going on.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Doctor baby boy is missing some of his pebbles.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
So we had to have it told. We had to
told home to him, told home for him. And we're
gonna see what shop he's gonna put it, put it
in to see if they can't get those colors fixed.
One for doctor baby boy. Don't get back on the highway.
And if y'all saw, if y'all saw a record going
down to seventy five or six thirty five or one
ninety with a big will on it, that was doctor
baby Boy's big will, we'll put it down.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
But we're gonna get that. We're gonna get to my
gas man. I'm I'm excited. I'm gonna I'm gonna let
him tell you, uh Rusty Flamings, I'm gonna let you tell,
let him tell you how how we met, and and
and and and it's something how God can put people
back in your life.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
You don't even know.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
This is this is why I want to say this.
You don't know how many people you can impact with
just kind words. I guess what a prior you know
you're passing people up, passed. We passed up people too much.
And we don't even we're not even in tuned.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
If God want us to say something to that person,
if God want us to play for that person, we
just get caught up. But if you can get caught
up in Jesus claims, he can whisper in your stop,
say something to that person, get that Christens some kind words.
So so Rust, I'm gonna let you come on and
and you can tell how we how we mad and
and then we're gonna let you just go fishing for
us on the kart worldwide. I mean radio and poetry

(21:07):
that you go fishing for us. So uh booth and
tz I want you all to welcome a guest, Rushy Fleming.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Oh yeah, all welcome, Rush come on in appreciate you brother, Yeah,
thank you.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
What would it be all right if I said a
short prayer?

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Oh come home with it?

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Yeah all right, Lauren, I just thank you for what
you've done in my life, and for always being there
and being faithful to me. I ask you to use me,
Lord and to speak through me. I pray for all
those that are listening, and I ask you give me
the words of my testimony just to bless someone, to
help someone, encourage them. Also asked that you blessed Kenneth

(21:50):
and everyone involved in these podcasts are spreading your word,
because that's what it's all about. And Jesu's name, I pray, Amen, Amen, Amen. Well,
back in September of twenty twenty one, I was doing
yard work and this man was walking by my house.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
It was Kenneth.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
I didn't know at the time, didn't know until a
few weeks ago what his name was. He just stopped by,
he was even across the street, and he just said, hey, can.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
I pray for you?

Speaker 5 (22:24):
And I said sure.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
I was going through a.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Lot of stuff in my life, was really in a
bad place. And he prayed, and off he went on
his walk, and I only saw him a couple more
times that year, and I don't know that I ever
saw him since then until a few weeks ago when
I started walking again and I ran into Kenneth, and
I said, hey, you had prayed for me. At the time,

(22:50):
I didn't realize it was four years ago. I just
thought it was maybe a couple But I just wanted
to thank you for stopping and praying for me. And
you know, like y'all were just mentioning, you never know
what that little small gesture will do or mean to someone.
And you know, I told my wife, and I couldn't

(23:16):
remember until she reminded me just yesterday what it was that.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
He had prayed for me.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
And but.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
I'd like to give y'all a little background before you
to get into what that was I'd been doing. I
really don't know how far back he goes, but it
was somewhere six to eight years or longer, dealing with
with extreme stress, mainly due to my job and other
things in my life. Things just kept getting worse and worse,

(23:54):
leading to anger and depression and various things like that.
I finally got to the point where, and just a
little precursor.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Is I was a guy going to church. I was there,
but I wasn't.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
And so I finally got to a point in my
life where I started blaming God and I felt that
I lost my faith and all hope it felt like
I was sinking down deeper and deeper.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Uh with no end in sight.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
And when COVID hit, it gave me an excuse to
stop going to church and to somewhat isolate myself. No
one other than my wife at that time really knew
what was going on.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
But then.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
When when Kevin came by and prayed prayed for me,
the part that my wife and my wife called and
my angel at the time that he went by, because
she knew what I was going through and she called
him my angel. And the last part of the prayer
that she could remember is and you'll have to excuse

(25:16):
me because I get emotional, and the end of the
prayer was there will be life and not death. And
you know that that really means a lot to me,
and really it's true statement. I'm just so thankful to God,

(25:40):
and I'm thankful to Kenneth for stopping by and praying
with me, and and you know, he went on and
again we didn't see each other for four years up
until a few weeks ago, So you know, I continued
struggling up until.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Twenty twenty three. And twenty twenty three, there was a
lot of things that went on.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
Good and bad, but it was a pivotal year for God,
for me coming back to God and him restoring my
faith and bringing me to the man that I am today.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Man that I am today so much more.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
I have such a deeper relationship with God than I've
ever had. He's done so many amazing things in my life,
and I'd like to share some of that with y'all.
In the earliest thing I remember, in twenty twenty three
free we go over to some friends of our house
and my friend would play Christian music, worship music because

(26:45):
he knew I was going through stuff. I wouldn't really
talk to him about it, but he'd played Christian music,
worship music, and I'd secretly at tag some songs that
I liked and would kind of listen to those on
my and later in April of that year, my father

(27:07):
in law had been battling cancer and passed away.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
In April of twenty three, and my brother in.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Law passed away in October twenty three after a long
battle of kidney failure. But seeing the faithfulness that those
two guys had during all the stuff they went through,
I'm just thinking to myself, how can my stuff.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Be any problem at all?

Speaker 5 (27:39):
I remember my father in law had gone to the
point where he couldn't really even speak. He was nearing
the end, but they turned on praise and worship music
and of his hand would go praising God before he passed.
I promised him I would start going back to church,

(28:00):
which I did every Sunday, even though I didn't really
want to be there at that point. Then in July
of twenty three, a guest speaker had come to church
and had a specific topic he was going to preach on,
and at the last minute he changed his topic to
speaking on faith, which is what I was struggling with,

(28:25):
and his message really spoke to me. But he did
an ultra call and I wouldn't go down, but I
did at the end go and tell him, you know,
I was struggling with faith and I really needed to
hear that.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
And later, after.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Sharing my testimony with my pastor, he told me the
reason that that guest speaker changed their topic is because
when they saw me, they felt like they needed to
preach on faith. So later in July, my mother in

(29:06):
law was also diagnosed with cancer, where she's now cancer free,
thank thank you Lord. But my wife moved in with
her for eight months to take care of her while
she was going through the treatments.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (29:19):
Initially I kind of felt a little more isolated because
I was by myself and alone, But but that that changed.
I'll get to that that part here in just just
a minute. So after my wife was was living with
her mom for a while, I was there by myself

(29:42):
and a common pastor friend.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Of our of ours, her father had passed.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
And I decided one evening that I was just going
to go by myself to the.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
Funeral to support them.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
And so I just booked a flight and left and
I get to the airport and there's some co and
friends of ours, which he was also a pastor, and
they were going to the same funeral, and we met
up for dinner the night after we got there, the
day before the funeral, and he he started to share

(30:31):
his story of what he had gone through one of
the hardest things in his life, his divorce and God,
he told was talking about how God had asked him
to do something extreme during the one of the hardest
times of his life, and he told God that if
he did that, he would have nothing, and God's response

(30:54):
was to trust him and have faith, and he followed
what God asked to do, and the things that occurred
after them were just so amazing. His testimony is what
helped me. I mean, all these things accumulative did, but
that was really the thing that kind of flipped the

(31:16):
lights light bulb for me, flipped the switch.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
And on the ride back to.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
The hotel with them, I opened up to them for
the first time, other than my wife, I hadn't really
shared with anybody else. I opened up to them about
what I've been going through and how I was feeling
about things. And they both shared several experiences in their
life and spoke many things into my life. And that

(31:44):
experience was really the, like I said, like the Lord
flipped the light switch on. And one of the other
things that I've kind of struggled with and in my
life is confidence in myself. And during twenty twenty three

(32:06):
up until this funeral service, there were three separate instances
where three pastors all mentioned how a common pastor friend
of ours had spoken about me and spoken positive things
and encouraging things to them about me talking about me,
and it just blew me away that somebody would be

(32:29):
talking about me when I'm not even there, you know,
It's just it was really encouraging for me to hear that.
So earlier I had mentioned about my wife being gone
to take care of my mother in law for eight

(32:50):
months and how I kind of felt isolated and alone.
But I finally realized that I needed that time. It
was a time that I was able to focus on
myself and God, which I really needed. It gave me
a greater appreciation of my wife and many other things

(33:12):
like I'd never had before. When you have time to
yourself alone, time you really have time to reflect, more
time to pray, more time to think, and it really
just I mean, it just gave you such a respect
for things and that I started going to church every

(33:41):
day in the mornings to pray by myself. Every single
day while my wife was gone, I was going to
church and pray by myself. I continue to pray at home,
on the road wherever I was. And I've always had
a heart to help out and especially those I see

(34:02):
on the streets. So I back in August or September
of twenty three, I was out eating somewhere and there
were some homeless people there. I stopped and prayed for
a guy I remember. His name is Kevin, first guy
ever stopped on the street and prayed for Because I'm
one of those shy, quiet guys who's sitting in the
back of the room not saying anything.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
I don't do stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
But through the Lord, I've been able to do a lot,
a lot of things now that I've even liked doing
this podcast. I could not have done this kind of
thing before, but I stopped prayed with him, and I've
done that. I don't know countless number of times. I've
got a nap on my phone that gives me prayer reminders,

(34:46):
and every single one of these people that I've encountered,
gracious people, I put their name a little reminder of
where they were and what their needs were, but also
stop and pray with people and try and help anybody
I can, and just trying to give anybody encouragement. And

(35:12):
shortly after all this, I joined our prayer group at church,
which I'll be going to this evening, and I've grown there,
been able to get up and speak in front of them.
I've spoken a couple of times in front of our church,
and just try and do everything I can to keep

(35:35):
myself uplifted in the Lord so that I can grow
in the Lord to share, just like y'all were saying,
we've got to share our stories and share things with others.
Takes a step of faith to go do things like
Kenneth did stopping and praying for me. I mean, just

(35:57):
those little actions mean so much. And I'd like to
share a few of the blessings that I've received in
the last year. At the end of twenty twenty three,

(36:23):
I took control of my business and in twenty twenty
four and still going going well now. Twenty twenty four
was the best year we've ever ever had financially. I
was able to take a lot of trips, more than
I've ever taken, and they were not just not just

(36:43):
trips for vacation. There were times spending times with people
that we got to share a lot of things that
we wouldn't necessarily talk about in groups of others. And
the others were vacation that I was able to get
out and do things, help my parents with their business.
I received three separate healings in my body during church

(37:08):
or prayer services. January of this year, I was ordained
in the Ministry of Healths, which has been such a
such a blessing in my life. The morning that I
was ordained, my Bible app gave me a Bible verse

(37:29):
one Timothy six twelve, which says, fight the good fights,
a good fight of faith. Take hold of eternal life
to which you were called when you were made, when
you made your good confession in front of many witnesses.
And that day my parents were there, and my dad

(37:53):
gave me my grandmother's Bible, and my sister said, hey,
open it up to the bookmark, or can see where
it's at, And.

Speaker 4 (38:02):
It was at.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Vers Timothy six and twelve, and my grandmother had written
witnesses right at that verse. And then in February of
this year, a longtime friend of mine who used to
own my business, asked me to lead the celebrational life

(38:27):
service for his wife in front of over one hundred people.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
Something.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
Again, I'm not the kind of guy that gets up
in front of people, but he asked me to do it,
and I couldn't say no. And I got up in
front of one hundred plus people and led the celebrational
life service for his wife. And I could not have

(38:52):
done any of these things without the Lord. All these
things I say I did, it was not I only do.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Things through Christ.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
And what.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
One of the other Bible verses.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
That I that I had come across early on was
Isaiah forty thirty one, which says that those who wait
upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount
up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not
be weary, they shall walk and not faint. And I just,

(39:38):
I really just so thankful to the Lord and everything
He's done in my life, you know, going from where
I was, I never thought I would ever even maybe
even still be here at this time, but he is.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
He has taken me.

Speaker 5 (39:56):
Beyond, so far beyond where I was before everything started.
And I just I would not change anything that I've
gone through because it has made me who I am today.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
And I'm just.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
I just want to encourage anybody that may be going
through anything. It's never too late to go back to God.
Nothing you've ever done will remove God from your life.
God is faithful to us. During all this stuff I
went through, I know God was.

Speaker 4 (40:34):
There with me.

Speaker 5 (40:38):
He was faithful to me. But if you've ever drifted away,
take a step of faith, because I really feel you know,
it was that action of mine taking a step of
faith to go back to God. Say God, I need you,
I can't do this without you. Is really you know,

(40:59):
doing that and listening for things, I mean, just having
an open ears, just like my friend playing in Christian music,
worship music, and just grabbing hold of those things. Praying,
reading your Bible, talk to God, pray, get closer to him,
listen to praise and worship music. Just surround yourself with

(41:21):
positivity with friends and family of faith. Become active in
your church. And you know, when I went back to
my church after being gone for three years, they all
welcomed me back with open arms. I'm just so so
thankful for everything God has done in my life. Thankful

(41:42):
for all of my friends, my family, my church family,
for Kenneth, you guys, and especially for my wife for
being there through everything. I know she prayed for me,
loved me even when I was probably not lovable. The

(42:03):
I just I just thank you guys for giving me
this opportunity to share, share my testimony, and I just
pray God uses this to help someone else that may
be going through something like this or whatever they're going through.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
Right right, that's good.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
Yeah, I tell you you are you You're already moving
us to a point that I know, I know, I
know TJ already passed some clintings over the brute man.
You you're touching us, and you know one of the
things I'm gonna let TJ and boosts out something to say.
But when you when you acknowledge your wife, and then
that just touched my heart right now, you know, because

(42:42):
of the fact that Boots got a lot of us in.
T J got a lot of years in and I
got a lot of lot of you know, and when
and when when you think about, uh, you have no
wife that that.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Uh for the ups, for the down, for the goods,
for the bad, you know, and still and still there,
still it's still show on you in the same kind
of love that she had early in the relationship, you know,
after the years and and they do things that you
be like, God, thank you for this woman, you know,
do something like man, I take you.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
I know, I'm on I know, June more killing me,
said Julius told love man, boy, I did took.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
A hard to deal with some time. But the chief
hanging in there. And so when you said that, I
know it touched. I know it touched brutes. I know
it touched teacher man. They say that all that you've
gone through me and you came to a conclusion. The
conclusion was you've been dependent on God, and God been
keeping your wife with you. What a blessing. Go ahead,

(43:38):
teach that go ahead, teacher.

Speaker 3 (43:39):
Yes yes, yes, yes, yes yes yes. Uh. Well, brother Rusty,
if you don't mind, I'm gonna call you brother Rusty.

Speaker 5 (43:52):
Your certain gosh, gosh, gosh, gosh.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
First of all, you opened up with prayer. You said, love, dang,
I have something that I want you guys to hear.
I want the world to hear it, but I want
you to know. First of all, I must pray to
my heavenly Father. And you did. And this is what
you said. He said, I was in a bad pace

(44:17):
at a bad time. And when you finish giving us
your testimony, this is what you said. It's never too
late to go back to God. That's what you said.
He said, I was in a bad pace and a
bad time. He said, thank you, Heavenly Father for being

(44:43):
for me, for being with me. He said, I told
my wife how how I'm met, How I'm met to
lad He stopped me one day and said, do you
mind if I pray for you? And you didn't know
what he was meant what he was talking about. He

(45:03):
had met him, and you said, yes, has go ahead.
He said, I had a lot of He said, I
had a lot of I had a lot of stress
going on in my life. I was having I was
having some problems of trying to go to church. I
was going, but I wasn't. I wasn't a believer just yet.

(45:26):
But I just waited. But I wanted because I wanted
to have some type of some type of release from
the bad times that I was having. And you know what,
my life changed. My life changed and I didn't even

(45:46):
know my life was changing. Pull I prayed for me
was the was the beginning of the change. He was
my age child. That would be life. There would be
a lot that's going on in my life, and it
wasn't good. There was several death. There were several situations.

(46:10):
But I remember what pore I saying, that your light shine,
that your life shine. Let it shine. In twenty twenty three,
my life again to change. I would get to repent.
I remembered this to more Christian music. Even though death

(46:33):
was in and out of my life, in my family's life,
but I was still being able to handle these situations.
A little better because the Lord was taking over then.
And you know what, you know, they never they never
stopped praising God. All these people in my life that

(46:56):
was having these different death these different situations, my in laws,
they never stopped praising God. These were troubled times. And
God changed my faith. It was my testimonies and started
making people saying, Wow, his testimony is making me see

(47:22):
life a little bit different. I'm seeing the light in him.
His testimony was a relief. Your testimony was a relief,
and you said several times, my God, my God changed
my life. And my wife helped change my life. Her

(47:42):
mom wasn't feeling well past some situations. She was able
to go through those situations because she trusted in the Lord.
I began then to you know what, start repenting. I
started trying to go back to church and find out
what had I been missing? What have I been missing here?

(48:05):
Trust in the raw, trust in God, have faith in you.
I went through a lot, you said, I went through
a lot of people. It was tough, but the light
came on. The lights which finally it came on, and
I'm here to let you know that. Let you need

(48:26):
to let your light shine. I love my wife. I
love her dearly. You said separation can bring about appreciation,
and then you mentioned it over your time, and I
really loved my wife, he said. Sometime, you know what

(48:47):
I do what told I did for me. Sometimes I
just stop a person. I'll ask me. I said, okay,
if I pray for you, I said, okay, you don't
need to know that situation. You said, but let your
light shine. That's what you want to do, that's how
you want to do it. You said, you're doing God's

(49:07):
work now. He said, I'm I'm a I'm I'm I'm
a uplifted I have been uplifted in the Lord. I
hadn't heard that before. That was a good one, you said. Again,
without realizing that, you said, let your light shine. People,
you can't be god giving and the proving. You said, Look,

(49:33):
I've had several businesses in the last few years. My
business are better and better and better. And it's not
me that's doing it. He said, it's the Lord.

Speaker 5 (49:42):
It's the Lord that's doing it.

Speaker 3 (49:44):
You said, the Lord just doing it? You did, he said,
I did a I did. I repented. I did a
renovation in my life. Again. It brings us the best,
he said, in Isaiah forty and thirty one. God has

(50:05):
been the reason and never he'd let me know that
it's never too late to go back to God. If
you've been there, people turn around, It's not too late.
We can always go back to our Lord. And I
will say to Jesus Christ Russia, that's what you share
with me. And I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Appreciate it for the
Russey Geners, and God blessed us the podcast. And I
didn't just see the Lord in the mixt here of
the reason that you're on the podcast, because I think
about last last week with Ms Tatherine and and and

(50:49):
what she stated about her son when he was when
he was murdered, and he thought that he was homeless,
you know, and they didn't have the decency to the
cover of and and and you stated, do you have
compassion for the homeless? You know that you're you know,
stop and trying to help the homeless. That that's that's

(51:09):
saying a lot right there. Everyone matters. This is not
your in life, it's not your your titles. Everyone matter,
So yes, again you do. You You could have just
stopped from my perspective right there, because that that let

(51:32):
me know the type of person that you you are,
showed me your heart and that's why God.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
Is with you.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
And I like that you're appealing to to to others
because you can know what the podcast is about, trying
to help those that are lost. And I like that
you've mentioned Philippi Philippians four thirteen, that you can know
all things Rice Jesus who strengthens you. That's one of
my favorite scriptures.

Speaker 4 (51:57):
You know.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
And then that and that's true that the depositve and
like what you said, you said you were in a
bad place, right, so anyone listen what buzzer legit things.
If you're in a bad place, don't give up on God.
Or if you don't know God, get to know God,

(52:18):
get to know our heavenly pause. He cares, He cares about.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
You, and and that.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
Where you are in life, it doesn't matter. Just turn
your life over.

Speaker 3 (52:32):
To Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
Yes, that's for Jesus law in your heart the God
weigh up from the dance. Fign your life over to
Jesus Christ. And you know mentioned another one of my
favorite scriptures of House for thirty one. But they don
waiting for strength, they shall man up with wings is egos.

(52:56):
They shall want and not weary, and they shall walk
in think, praise, praise Herd.

Speaker 5 (53:02):
Just just.

Speaker 2 (53:06):
I mean that that empirassed. Just just dating that and
believing that, believing that with all your heart, mind and
so and trusting in our heavenly Father, trusting in Hell.
That that's the key. That's the key. It is you
can feel old. You can be alone, just like brother
who was said and that ended up being being a

(53:26):
blessing for and and I held a father was nursing
to me lead the Bible if they didn't want is
last getting about lead the Bible as our hell a
father into your life. Okay, you'll bring love, joy, peace.

Speaker 3 (53:50):
In your life.

Speaker 2 (53:52):
You would move that anger the brother Russ you're talking
about that the question that's in your life, You would
move that. But you have to give them a chance
and bite them into.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
Your life because he's.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
About you. You can't play people in your life like
we always talk about to help you, to help you,
and and and playing love for for tar and what
he's doing where he's we can go to others by
there make it making a difference also in other people lives.

(54:30):
Looks like he's saying that he now he have these
speaking games. That's where he's managing the others. One person
can make a difference, one person to keep them appreciate you, brother, Jenny,
and I play that I have a father, good king
to be with you. And thank you again for being

(54:51):
on the podcast.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
Yes, thank you all for.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
Man, you blessed us. You have really really blessed us,
you know. And what we like for you do us,
is that we'd like you always give our gres, you know,
but we try we when we have our fish fry man,
we try to have as many fish that we can't
fish we can have, you know. And so you've been
fishing for us. Man, we just like you to throw
your real out there one more time and and and

(55:20):
whatever God push on your heart to try to fish,
catch us a few more fish before we close this out.

Speaker 5 (55:26):
Yeah, define right, Lord, I just thank you for this opportunity. Lord,
I just asked you reach out and touch lives of
anybody out there that's listening, that that has any need
for you.

Speaker 4 (55:41):
Lord.

Speaker 5 (55:42):
Uh, you have blessed us all so much, and we
just we know you are the the way and the light,
and we just asked that you touch the lives of
those listening. Lord, you know what their needs are.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
You know what they need.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
You know.

Speaker 5 (56:05):
That I just asked you send out angels to help anybody,
to protect them, to strengthen them, give them the boldness.
That was one thing that came across to me several times,
as God has given me boldness to do things that
I never could do before and taking a step of faith,
you know, having boldness and taking a step of faith. Lord,

(56:28):
And I just asked you bring others like Kenneth and
others out there that are willing to get out there
and pray for people on the streets or wherever they are,
grocery store, whatever you see somebody you feel it's in need,
get out there and pray for them, because it's taking
that step of faith and spreading your word and praying
for people to encourage them that will make the change,

(56:51):
to help people get through what they're going through.

Speaker 4 (56:54):
In Jesus' name, I pray.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
Appreciate you, man, I mean, sir, Yeah, you know I can't.
I can't. I can't let Booths and TJ get off
without just thanking you. So TJ you go first, thank you,
my brother Brust, and then Booths you thank him also,

(57:16):
and then I'll close it out for yes.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
That hey, brother Rusty, look uh, I try to be
as simple and short as possible, and this is what
I want you to know. I want to say thank
you for everything that you've done for us today. Thank
you Jesus Christ for sending Rusty to us, because you
know what about Jesus, my Lord, my Savior. We can

(57:42):
all have our emotions and off with different kinds of feelings,
but we all realize we should realize this. You are
the one that we can trust in. You are the
one that when we have all of these difficulties to
stirn us in the face, and and the dangers and
the things that we go through in this unchanging world,

(58:04):
this changing world, you will be there for us. And
I want to thank you for allowing Russy to come
into our lives today and to shine a little light
and say, look, if you've got some problems, it's okay.
He said you were going to have a few problems.
He said you were, but he said, that's also trust

(58:24):
in me, and I will see you through. Bring your
burdens for me, and don't you kind of figure them
out all by yourself. Let me tell you. Let me
give you the wissom. Let me show you the way.
Just have faith and believe in our Lord and I
will save you. Jesus Christ and Rusty, that's what you
gave us today. Thank you so very much, my brother,

(58:45):
thank you. Yes you yeah, for sure. And I appreciate
you your boldness. Appreciate it that you're you're standing on osbird,
that you're not ashamed. Yes, oh, it's all about Jesus Christ.
Jesus was on the silon.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
You're saying that you have that relationship where the heaven Father.
You need to show the same type boldness the brother
Jennings is saying, sometimes you may have to be along,
but you know God is really you know the relationship
that God has with you and that he can help others.
Then you need to stand up and let folks know

(59:28):
it's all about Jesus Christ. Get that bold it's not
it's not being all puffed up and all of that.
You humbled, but you're not as shame. You're not a
shame to say that Jesus Christ is Lord. You're not
ashamed to say that no matter where you are in
your life should reflect you. Your life, whether the rest Rusty,

(59:49):
I know his life is refucting that he has a
relationship with Jesus Christ and the crisis that we have
going on. Now everyone we know how to have their
relationship with Jesus Christ. So you'll have that love, have that, Jorge,
You'll have that peace, You'll have purpose, You'll have purpose.
God will give you that purpose in your life and

(01:00:13):
you will help us.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
Thank you again for the fruster Thank you man, thank you, oh,
thank you Bruce and TJ for that powerful acknowledgement of
our yesterday, you know, and I'm so thankful to you know.
When we what we're doing people, Russian's already stated what
we're doing. But I actually got a chance to get

(01:00:36):
a simping base for information from my producer. We had
one hundred and ninety one hundred and ninety three thousand
downloads in the United States. We had we up seventy
nine thousand and four thousand ups in India, United Kingdom
six thousand, Australia up a thousand people. We really seriously

(01:00:58):
are going fishing for sou we that's what we're doing.
And you gotta understand that God is behind this boat
that pushes off every Sunday except the fourth Sunday from
two thirty to three thirty. This is This is Jesus' Ship.
Boots is on TJ, on body on my guests, rust

(01:01:21):
on in everyone. If you go back and listen to
every last podcast that we've had, everybody's been toping My Jesus.
And so with that said, you know, we just need
a little more support. You know, you can go to
the Chotiworldwide dot com and that's a support button and
you can support it because we got to get in

(01:01:42):
the more countries. My my producer value. She she's constantly
getting us more and more platforms so we can go
fishing for souls.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Because when you.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
Listen to this podcast, you know, Bruce is serious about
toping My Jesus. You know TJ is serious about toping
My Jesus.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
You know my guests that I just had on the
day he pulled out his heart, he was said that
he wasn't just think about this. This is what I
want people to understand. The guests we had last week.
He's Captaine the c One. He said, I'm not no speaker.
She fu but she op and she she went fishing

(01:02:18):
for us and then would get rusty on Russey women.
He said, well, I'm kind of shy. I don't really
like so he went fit for the day. And we
are just so thankful that the people that God puts
on this podcast that come on, they sold out. And

(01:02:39):
and like Russey was saying, ain't nothing going ain't nothing
wrong for going through some things. I wouldn't just like
Russe is saying, and I know Bruce and TJ, we
wouldn't change anything that we've gone through because it's drawn
us closer to Jesus. Wal we just talk about closer walk.
Sometimes people don't want to be alone. Sometimes Jesus wants

(01:02:59):
you to be along so we can talk to you.
You know, ain't no longer being alone sometimes when you're
talking to Jesus. But you gotta get him some chans.
He's like Bruce was saying, what Russe said. He said,
he gave time. He started giving Jesus some time to
talk to him. But we're just asking all our listening
on it, stop.

Speaker 4 (01:03:16):
Being so busy.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
Give God some time to talk to you. Just give
him some time to talk to you, Like Bruce and
TJ said, give him a chance. That's what we're asking
you today from this on this podcast. Would you give
him a chance. If you're going through some changes, you
don't know what's gonna come up. So much stuff going
on now, people losing a job. You don't know what's
gonna go on. But you got give God a chance,

(01:03:40):
grab a hold to him. Why things are going okay,
don't wait till get totally chaos. And you want to
trying right now, walk with him, talk with him and
you'll be just excited as Bruce is. You'll be dis
excited as TJ. He'll be just excited to.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
Just talk about the Lord and ma'am. We want to
want to you know, we always we always try to
give a shout out to the to the business people
or that we got on the podcast. You know we
got o mg uh case and Southern Advance Casing. We
we have a because she's a woman of God, Bruce.
You know we had my fact. We had our own twice,
Miss demon here. If you want to do some business

(01:04:20):
with someone that's in love with Lord and you and
you're not sure, go go and listen to podcasts with me,
Miss DeMar and you'll know. Then we had Doctor Jr.
Our own Hamilton Parks Live.

Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
Good.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Come on, people, you're getting information from a doctor. They're
telling you that the new Wealth is your health. Let
me tell you, Doctor jayl came on here and said,
your new health is your new The new Wealth is
your health. The new Wealth is your health.

Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
So he's got vitamin everybody needs the supplements that you've
gotta have some type of supplements that all the nutriance
has gone from the food. You gotta have some supplements.
He that's what he does. And then we got we
got Uh, Tiffany. We were uh and she's trying to
make a difference in young ladies, trying to make a difference,
trying to let them know no matter how you are born,

(01:05:08):
how you look that and God as that you are
beauty because He made you. She's trying to share as
young ladies. And then we got we got our own
doctor baby Boy. Doctor baby Boy. You know I joke
about doctor baby but doctor baby.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Boy is serious about your inner soul. He concerned about
the inner man, the inner mandt A man can can
just got all this going on, but could be so
torn up on the inside.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
To check them out. And then I let let Bruce
talk about uh, the report Miss harden by the first ball.
I mean, she's a she's a woman ch has that
personal relationship with her Helen Potter, she's a has an
own show called The Wago Check Show, and she has
a consulting firm that helps align your passion with God's

(01:05:57):
plan and purpose for your life. And she is very
interest and she can help with you know, emotional financial stability.
She's definitely a woman of God. Yeah, I'm thanking, thank you,
thank you, Bruising and we just thank you t J Man.
I'm just I'm just moved, you know, uh with the

(01:06:17):
guests and I'll get a chance to see him walking
in the neighborhood again.

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
We'll be praying every time pot And.

Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
That's that's a blessing and so so well again, we're
just we're just so so thankful. And before I end,
I want to I want to close this with a
pride because when when Russy we've got a chance to speak,
he said he and we prayed before when I called
him up, and we prayed that God would use him.
And boy, I'll tell you, just like God did with

(01:06:48):
missus McEwen that said she wasn't to speak of, God
used her and just like I got a chance to
pray it before the podcast uh with Rusty and told
them just let God speak. And now y'all saw how
God spoke to him what was best then for them?
Once again, Lord, you know this podcast is not about me.

(01:07:09):
It's not about bruds, it's not about tejas, it's not
about violence. Matter fact, it's not even about our guesesterday.
But I said, Lord, this podcast is about you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
Lord. We going fishing and old because I've gotten so
much faunus. Lord, you keep keeping us here, You keeping
us with our health and strength, You keeping us with
our in our right man. The death Angel comes and
passes by our house, our homes each and every night.
Nor because the death Angel can come in the night
and the day he comes as a surprise, it's almost

(01:07:41):
like a gold Power moment. Surprise, surprise, surprise. The devil
angel can come for you. But because of Jesus, because
he love he has for us, he keeps us here.
So I'm playing at every listening person today with have
taking what Rusky has said, and Lord will understand that

(01:08:04):
they have not pushed too far away from shore to
get come back, come back to Jesus Christ. But let
anyone that's lost, Lord, let them start seeking you, let
them start just pacing after you. Lord, Lord and me
asked you to let our life keep shining so that
anybody that comes and see I look like we can

(01:08:25):
tell them about you because you're the only one, Lord
that can save all my listening audience. Well, don I
goodn't say for sver come on in, but we just
want to say thank y'all again, Lord, thank you for
giving us Rusty on the show. And you know the
Sunday is the is the fourth Sunday, so we get
a chance to take them, spend a little time with

(01:08:47):
the with the family, and we're just going to be
back the first of the first of the month. We're
gonna be back. We got got another powerful against bar
bar and Boar just just excited it. And so I
just want everybody to be safe and more than anything
on just like Bruce and TJ saying, y'all know what
we've been talking about. I don't know who we've been

(01:09:08):
