Speaker 4 (01:32):
A you did keep me up real quick. There they're Scotty.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
There's some rumors floating around that Tyler Plumbus has gotten
to the point in his life that he is now
referring to himself in the third person.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Did that happen today?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Well, Jim Brows do that?
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Did he really do it?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Say?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Well, Tyler thinks or TP thinks.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
I'm not sure if he went into it today.
Speaker 7 (01:55):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
I couldn't honestly tell you.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
That I heard him the third person.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
But let's be on us, the three of the four
of US athletes. Have you ever not seen like a
jacked up a Jim bro that ain't been that? Don't
talk a third person.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
You're talking about a mirror selfie game. Come on, mere
selfie guy, you know you think do you.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Think Tyler's sending miror selfie these days? Dude?
Speaker 5 (02:19):
When he started working out, he was taking workout pictures.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, he's a big mirror selfie post workout, post pomp.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
I bet he's got one of the one of the
bikinis that you see in France marble sacks, bikini thingssos.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
You know you're one one of those. Hold on, what
I never worn one? I mean, not even in a
humorous context.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Okay, I'm not sure I'm buying it.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
You look like a man who said you were about
to well and then Scotty's reaction made you change your mind.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
You were about to meet something in trust.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
The pretty Oh yeah, I've never had.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
That's why when you when you get baggies, you know,
for their sandwich size, and there's gown size. He ain't
putting the gown gallon baggy stuff into you know, okay,
sandwich size.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
So here's the actual quote of Tyler Columbus doing third person.
Apparently he said, I quote, Tyler is going to go
on a ring.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Was this about the smelling sauce? He did say, Tyler,
you're what you're doing.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
The tea's going into the smelling salts.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Okay, that's rock bottom.
Speaker 7 (03:32):
Let's see you think, all right?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Hold on that's a tease.
Speaker 7 (03:37):
That's a tease.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
What are you teasing your guest? You already said to
me was you can't tease your.
Speaker 5 (03:46):
Getting more of an outfitting invitation and documentation here, let's
Marcus says. Marcus says, introduce myself. What do you want
to do?
Speaker 7 (03:58):
I'm not going to do it in the third person.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Yeah, this'll we have quality.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
They We're glad you hung around.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah, I can't. Honestly, I can't wait till.
Speaker 6 (04:08):
Well, hey, you had a texta earlier. I think they agree,
we had a lot of We got a lot of
the same texta going all right, everybody do the dance, everybody.
We all gotta rotate. We're gonna rotate. Marcus pop over there?
Do you want me to go over here?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I don't care.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
I just we need everybody in front of them on it.
All right, it's Crekman and Lindall. This has been the
most awkward one of them all. It's like a four
car pile up. They're gonna be reporting it on traffic
here a little bit later, but we're jumping into Crekman
and Linda all ready to go. We got a lot
going on. Marcus Washington, the former buff is here with us.
We got the former coach here, Mike Sanford. We got
a lot going on, so I'm sure the Fort Collins
(04:45):
text ares are gonna be real psych today. I can
already feel it in my loins like Nck Lombardy. So anyway,
all right, gentlemen, you know what, And Marcus, I don't.
I know you haven't been out it every day at camp,
but let's be honest. You went through this grind. Coach,
You've been saying it thousand times. Jeff Lagwold's been saying
it a thousand times what we have witnessed in this
camp so far, and this is what I'm pretty psyched about.
(05:06):
You weren't able to watch it, by the way, Why can't?
Don't You almost wish NFL Network would at least televise
some of these practices instead of the old Super Bowls
for the fifteen thousand times, But that's what they were
doing today. So I was watching Twitter, and Twitter's given
me the play by play of everything going on, And
you know what, Coach, we talked about it a couple
of times, and it was Jeff's final thought when we
(05:27):
talked to him on Monday. We know this offense has
not had great days against this Bronco defense. I think
we've all been tempered in our comments of wanting to
talk about it because I think we all think this
Broncos defense is real, real good.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Well, apparently the entire San Francisco forty nine ers media
corps is starting to realize that this defense for the
devil Broncos is damn good.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Is this not what we wanted? Would you call?
Speaker 6 (05:51):
And again we're gonna try to hook up with romy Beans.
She's got a million things going on. But everything I've read,
including Romi all the guys texting out there, the offense
had a good day.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
They found their rhythm, they got some stuff done. I mean,
we're not saying.
Speaker 6 (06:06):
That the Niners didn't do anything, but they certainly had
some of the same struggles against this defense that our
offense was showing us when we were out there watching camp.
If you're a Bronco fan, doesn't this allow you to
unfurl maybe a little more excitement reading how that practice
went to that.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yes, and it's also exciting for the players. Marcus, you
know this better than anybody. When you're beating up on
each other every day and you're seeing the same schemes
every day. And frankly, both.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Sides of the ball know each other's terminology, they know
their code words.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
Yeah, absolutely, autely, man, you can't wait to smash another
guy in the mouth. You cannot wait to do it.
I'm sure those guys were so excited to get up
against San Francisco and just to hit another color jersey,
you know what I mean. And just because you can
only do so much against your tamate because you don't
want to hurt anybody, and you don't want to hurt
anybody anyway, But when it comes to playing against somebody else,
you're like, I know that guy. I remember him. Maybe
(06:53):
he was in my conference when I was in college,
or maybe I got against him in another team. I
can't wait to smash that guy in mouth, all right.
Speaker 6 (07:00):
Us, both of you, because I got an offensive end
of defensive guy here.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Coach did a lot of offensive coordinating.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Because Nick Ferguson brought this up to me the other
day when we were reading about the quote unquote scrimmage
for the Broncos Saturday, which was highly controlled and not
really like the scrimmages both of you probably remember from
ten years ago, right, and Nick mentioned. Nick mentioned both
sides tending to look at each other's scripts.
Speaker 7 (07:23):
Oh, how serious?
Speaker 3 (07:25):
At what points we're two weeks into camp and what
point do you start sneaking a look at the scripts?
Speaker 4 (07:30):
I'd say this in the locker room.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
The worst thing that could ever happen is to have
meat gazers in the coaching office. The worst thing that
could ever happen is to have script peakers.
Speaker 7 (07:38):
Yeah. Absolutely, I don't like.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I don't like.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
I don't like uh wiener watchers or script peakers either
one of them.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Man, I don't want any of it.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I agree with that. So don't you also worry that?
I mean, Nick said, this is the time.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
If I'm on defense and I need to play, maybe
I go and take a little peak if I can.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
I mean, And if you're on offense going against that,
d do you do? You maybe leave a script around, if.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
You know what I mean, and then you change up
the play on the script A couple plays in Because
Nick's talked about that, all right, you wrote the script.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Now I'm on a test.
Speaker 7 (08:10):
It seemed like one of those sneaky guys got to
do something like that, would leave a script out for
me to walk by. I got it. I have done
it before, you know, Yeah, yeah, I have absolutely done
and highlight the wrong play. So the defensive guy was
buying and take to look at it.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
The best thing is as a as a play color
that happens to be the head coach when you do
get that amazing, amazing opportunity you get to hold, you
get to hold.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
The pen last, set me up a beautiful thing.
Speaker 7 (08:36):
Whoever's got the pin last always win, no doubt it always.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Although I don't know why Sean.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Payton didn't seem to be he seems pretty content with
allowing this this Broncos defense to kind of hold the
pen last, at least what we've seen at training camp.
Speaker 6 (08:49):
All right, so Marcus will ask you, and again Marcus
is coaching arrange you You had told me last night.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
We've got the coach here and you guys are friendly.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
Now we'll see how friendly you are come up whenever
that game maybe is scheduled playoffs bea.
Speaker 7 (09:00):
The only time I get a chance.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Who he guys in with league wise?
Speaker 7 (09:05):
Oh gosh, yeah, okay, and we'll just say we'll just
stay there.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's where my daughter went, Yeah, high school.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
They last year okay as a freshman. Yeah, great play.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
So we scrimmaged, we did a so the head football
coach at Erie High School was my daughter's health teacher.
Speaker 7 (09:25):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
And so we became buddies through it, and so I
called them right when I got the Valor job. I'm like, hey, man,
we uh we eat scrimmage together. We do a little
seven on seven together. I want to come up there.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Man. We did, and then I had a lot shorter
commute home.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
It was great about five minutes.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
What it was about you, Okay, I'm curious about this though.
You know, look what we've seen is again what you'd expect.
This is a very good defense. It's in year three
of putting everything together versus an offense that you know.
To me, I wipe out the first year because Russell
Wilson was not Sean Payton's guy. I think he got
rid of some other dudes too. He's got the line
(10:02):
that he wants, He's got the QB that he wants.
He continues add weapons of this thing, but they're not
in the same stage of development in my mind as
the defense is with a year on them, and frankly
a lot more guys left over. From the Vic Fangier
regime than and the Igiro Everro regime for Vance Joseph
to work with, and maybe what Shawn's had so he
has seen his offense have we'll just say frustrating days.
(10:22):
It's not they haven't had moments they've been frustrated. But again,
some of the guys I talk to all say, you
can't break the good on good. You gotta go good
on good and just deal with it. Would you have
done the same thing?
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Are you?
Speaker 6 (10:34):
Are you like coach surprised that Seawan didn't go ones
on twos or something.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
No, Absolutely, iron sharpens iron. You gotta go one v
one's best on best. Even at the high school level.
We try as best we can to try to fashion
best on best. You know, on some high school levels,
some of us don't have as many guys as other teams,
so we'll go half line, you go best on best.
In the NFL saying thing, you got to go best
on best, And I'm not surprised. What about what Sean
(11:01):
Payton's doing at all? We know that defense is gonna
be phenomenal. They got a couple couple of areas that
they need to you know, sure up because of some injuries,
but I'm telling you right now that defense they will
be my fantasy defense.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Believe that.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah, and you got you gotta imagine with the reports
coming out from all the forty nine ers beat riders
of today's practice, like because the forty nine ers have
had a really good defense for the last five years.
Speaker 7 (11:27):
Yeah, they really have.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
The Broncos offense look good against the forty nine ers defense.
I know it's a banged up defense the Secondari's uh,
it really got a ton of injuries. They've been in
and out all training camp for the forty nine ers.
But every the tweet that I saw is Broncos D
is greater than greater than greater than the forty nine
ers D.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Well, you know what.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Also, wow, it also helps that.
Speaker 7 (11:48):
We may have you know, snuck a couple of guys off.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Their roster, our roster.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
He had to pay Rock Party. Hey, got it, you
gotta paid Rock Party, man. There's a there's a price
playing poker. Yeah, you lost two of your most impactful
player to the Denver Broncos, who are now the beneficiaries
of Super Bowl experienced players in the defense.
Speaker 7 (12:06):
And I heard reports that that the Broncos have brought
back the most returning players eighty six something like that.
Eighty six percent players from any other than any other team.
So that also helps when you've got a bunch of
returning guys.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yeah, look, I'm excited about this.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
You know, we'll take a we'll take a quick pause
and we'll get back. We'll break down, we'll get some
of those tweets out just in case. I know people
have been working. Maybe you've not been able to actually
go and take a look at Twitter, but if you want,
it doesn't matter who you stop. By by all accounts,
the Broncos had a day and now again Christian McCaffrey
did a pretty good day. They were able to get
some stuff done in the red zone. Apparently the only
(12:45):
blemish for the Broncos was red zone where Bo had
a wide open RJ. Harvey and just missed him a
little bit, according to the tweets that I saw. But
you know what, those are two guys work out a
little bit more of that timing. That'll be something of me.
I'm sure just fine. But by all accounts, Bo and
Courtland did their thing quite a bit. Bowen MIM's got
some work in plenty of tweets about what Bow and
Franklin did.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
So we'll break it all down here.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
It's Krekman and lyndahll Nate Krekman out a couple more days.
You're listening to Altitude Sports Radio ninety two five.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
You've got the Krekman and Lyndahl podcast. Listen live every
weekday from ten am to noon on Altitude Sports Radio
ninety two to five and on the Altitude Sports Radio app.
Speaker 6 (13:28):
Well we're back here on Altitude Sports Radio ninety two five.
Marcus Washington, the former Buff also played in the CFL
A little bit. You had some experience with the New
England Patriots. We're gonna talk about that a little bit.
Oh boy, what do you think here, coach old Days,
your old coach and his new girlfriend.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Is that not everybody's still keeping the chat waves?
Speaker 7 (13:47):
You know, man, everybody's talking about all my friends. We
talk about it. So we have a guy's Day that
we do with some some of the former guys. We
get together one Sunday a month and that's all we
talk about, man, all the time together this week. And
I'm telling you right now, it's always a hot topic. Well,
girlfriend's so young, man, Oh my goodness. I guess you know,
(14:07):
good friend.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I don't know what you talk about, frankly, but good
for coach got of like to keep the vintage of
wines and in my generation personally, right, Yeah, no, that's
just my my deal two inches one though, Hey out,
I just know I've had young producers at times where
you throw out something like hey remember that Guns and
Roses song and they stare at You're like, all right,
time to move on.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
So yeah, exactly, which maybe she's doing right now.
Speaker 6 (14:31):
Okay, let's get some of these tweets that we got
going on from the practice today, because again it was
it was a good practice by all accounts, and I'm
not We're not just going off one person's Twitter handle.
We're going off multiple media members, including romy Bean, Mike Cliss,
Zach Stevens, the the new young guy who's our new
young guy for the post, Luca Luca.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
He had retweeted Benett to Rondo, who I think's out
there as well.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
So, I mean, we got a lot of folks basically
tweeting the same thing about what a successful day it
was for the Broncos. I'm just gonna take some from
Rome's as she was doing some play by play because
she's first up here on my Twitter list, but she
had pointed out that bow Nicks had a great play
flushed out of the pocket on the run, getting Chase
fired one crossbody got it to Veley.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
I think that's good for Devon Vley.
Speaker 6 (15:18):
There's a guy I think maybe needs to make a
couple of plays after being one of our favorites last year.
I just haven't noticed as much from him. Nix in
the red zone hit Courtland Sutton for a TD, so
that was nice. Christian McCaffrey did get a TD. So
it looks like Shanahan's been watching the Broncos offense pretty
intently from what we were told.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Of course, Mike Shanahan was out there. Bo Nix was
sharp and team period.
Speaker 6 (15:43):
As one of the other things that she wrote, Nicks
to Franklin on a comeback play, so they've had a
good play there. He had another one to Franklin on
a deep ball. She said it was an absolute dart.
You like what Troy Franklin's done so far, coach, haven't you?
Speaker 4 (15:58):
I have?
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I would say that he looks more confident, he looks thicker,
more developed. He had a good offseason the first five
or six days of training camp that we were able
to watch, I saw more consistency catching the football. The
last four or five days, at least at the you know,
before the parting for San Francisco and practice at Santa Clara,
(16:20):
I saw a little bit more of the same inconsistencies
that led to uneven performance as a rookie. Where he
gets behind the defense, both throws him a ball, whether
it's slightly overthrown or whether it's he just didn't catch it.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
It just seems like there was just something.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Always that was just a little bit off, and it
was Troy Franklin was becoming the horseshoes and hand grenades
type of a receiver, the almost guy.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Sure everything was close. We've had a couple of corners
like that, you.
Speaker 7 (16:48):
Know, closely gets you cut.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
That's what's happened to a couple against.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
For Troy Franklin.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Man is that the speed itself as of this point,
it does multitude of cents because he can run. Man,
he gets by the one thing about him consistently when
he was watching him at training camp two years in a row.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
You watch him last year on film. He gets behind defenses.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
He does the guy finds a way to uncover himself
on the top of NFL defenses.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
And that's a rarity.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Marvin Mems, who's really, really, really talented, I wouldn't say
like when you watch his film, there's just consistency of
getting over the top of NFL defenses. Now, the thing
about Troy Franklin is and that's why I think the
preseason gonna be important for him. Gained some confidence, maybe
catch a post route, score a teeter like finish it.
Got it against against the U in the playoff game
against the Bills, which was huge for him and his
(17:38):
and his confidence going into the off season. But I'd
like to see that that consistency of not just getting
behind the defense, but finish the play man, finish the play.
Speaker 7 (17:46):
Yeah, gotta finish. So so Troy Franklin can take the
top off of a defense, Is there anybody else on
the roster that you've seen any training camp that can
take the top off the defense like he can? Because
we know he like you said, he can run, but
you got to finish it.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
You know who's got the speed.
Speaker 6 (17:59):
W I think would be fun And tell me if
you don't like this take, it's McLoughlin, Like, again, it's
funny because when I think about.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
A joker, here we go with the joker thing again.
You want to you want to let Sean Way in
on his jokers there, I'm say we ate a joker
trying to find a god damn joker. Yeah, McLoughlin.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
If he's a guy that they could find a way,
you know you used to your motion out of the backfield,
split him wide.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Get him on that, get him on that, you know,
I don't know, the third corner, the fourth corner.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
The guy that's obviously not the fastest dude in there,
and let him really run. I think that would be fun,
but I don't know, like what you kind of suggested
it there, Mims.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
I think Mims is he's like game speed fast, but
he's not the scare you fast?
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Is he?
Speaker 3 (18:47):
How would you just? Is he even fast? Am I
overplaying with the world fast?
Speaker 4 (18:50):
The thing that's wild about Marvin Mims?
Speaker 2 (18:52):
So Raja and I this morning went through snapcounts from
twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
In games.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Who do you think was the second most out behind
Courtland Sutton?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Last year?
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Who was who had the second most amount of snaps
in the wide receiver group.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
I feel like you're setting me up to same Mims.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
It was fifth, really, your guy that was a second
round draft pick two years ago. Fifth, fifth that has
documented four to three high four three low four four speed,
Little Jordan Humphrey, Little Jordan Humphrey.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Because Sean likes is blocking, but also Sean loves throwing
the rock too.
Speaker 4 (19:28):
It's the craziest thing ever.
Speaker 7 (19:29):
Yeah, but Mims is second on the depth chart right now,
isn't he He's first?
Speaker 4 (19:32):
He was listed as a starter.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, So it was Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims in
the two opposite spots. And I think I had Troy Franklin,
I think on the I think he was backing up
Marvin Mams.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
But the depth chart, as we know, Sean.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Is yeah, and he puts every rookie at the very end,
no matter what.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yeah, it doesn't matter at the bottom.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Like John Day Barron is like the sixth nickel right
now according to the depth chart.
Speaker 7 (19:56):
Yeah, you gotta earn it.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
Yeah, I mean the funny thing is that you got
a quote unquote earn it. But like you go to
practice and John A. Barn and R. J. Harvey are
immediately working with the ones with the very first day
of practice, which is also likely probably how it should
be because you drafted and invested in those players. It
takes some time.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
If you leave them buried with the twos and threes,
then they start taking on habits of the twos and threes.
Speaker 7 (20:18):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
They got to elevate their game.
Speaker 7 (20:20):
You don't want those problems you saw taking the bad
habits again. You'll be packing your bag. The Graham repro
be coming to see you. Coast needs to see an offense,
which a playbook.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Yeah, what who the turk? And then what they called
the guy? Yeah, remember we used to get the turk.
Speaker 6 (20:33):
On hard knocks and then I think they thought it
was insensitive. So now they've cut the turk out.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, twenty twenty happened, and we no longer were able
to show people getting fired publicly. So we became a
little bit.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
We changed, We got more in touch with our feelings.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
You know what's wild.
Speaker 6 (20:49):
You had a couple of those turk moments where they'd
go meet with the coach and it was kind of
interesting to watch how guys handled it in the conversation
they would have and so on and so forth.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
You know, remember, I think Danny Amandola. I think it
was Danny Amandola was.
Speaker 6 (21:02):
One of the guys cut from the Jets that went
on to you know, do great things.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
There was one of them that the Jets cut that
I know went on or maybe it was the.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
Cowboys anyway, might have been Amadola Amidola.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
Where again, you didn't you were like, oh, I didn't
realize he was with them to begin with.
Speaker 7 (21:19):
All right, So.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
We brought up John A.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
Barron.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
You know, he's probably gonna live most of his life
inside right now, would you not say that? Fair coach,
He's probably gonna be the inside guy, right not being
the outside, not taking I'm not sure they drafted him
right now to take Riley Moss's job.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
I guess my eyes, my eyes right now show me that.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
The two top corners are without a question outside corners
without questions, Pats or ten second Rilly Moss, all right,
not even close the third corner if there were an injury,
and the outside to either one of those two players.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Is Chris Abrams drain.
Speaker 7 (21:57):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
And then there's a big time competition happening at the
nick position. So everybody, I think The laziest take right
now for from people that have been in the media
for the last twenty five years, which no offense to them,
they were they were raised in a very different NFL.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Is that the nickel position is a sub package.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
You realize that of the defensive backs on the Denver Broncos,
the guy that had the second most amount of snaps
was ja Kwon McMillan.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
The nickel last just shy of one thousand uh snaps
last year.
Speaker 7 (22:27):
The NFL is a passing, it's passing the rock Man personnel,
it's it's it's nickel defense.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Every nickel freaking defense is base defense, is based defense,
and so and so. It would make sense when you
have a playmaker. And Johnny Barron apparently was fantastic. Yeah,
he had a couple of sacks.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Oh dude, he blitched a couple of times in the Yeah,
they blitzed the nickel.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Dime backer position. He comes screaming around the corner.
Speaker 7 (22:52):
Well, he was a big tackler at Texas he was
playing ball. That kid would hit you in the mouth
like as well of the cover guys he was. He
was a good tackle.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
You know what I loved about hom coach I love
that he and he would play the star in that defense.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
And so think about it when you get.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Into either an unbalanced set or sometimes and so you
go corners over, Yeah, a lot of times you you
might leave your nickel in the box.
Speaker 7 (23:15):
Yeah, he's got to cover the tight end.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Yep, he's covered the tight end. And then if you
get into some like some.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Nub side three by where there's three receivers to the
to the field and a tight end just by himself,
a lot of times that Nickel ends up having to
fit the run.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
He might be a B gap run fitter. And John A.
Barn did that.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
So that's that's like you're asking somebody who can like
plays the corner position, if you will, from a coverage standpoint,
but can also take on three and twenty pounds times
two of a combination block in the in the B gap.
He's shown that he can do that. Not in not
in the Big twelve, no offense. The modern Big twelve
is different than the Big twelve. You played it, and
(23:51):
Big twelve I played it.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Oh, it is legit with Oklahoma Texas.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
So he did it.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Ain't there anymore.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
He did it in the sec Man and he did
it where which is Jeff Legwalder guy. He always says
the best indicator, especially on the defensive side of the ball,
that you're ready is if you're able to be proficient
and physical and dominate in the Southeast Conference.
Speaker 7 (24:11):
And I know exactly what we're talking about. When I
played at CU in the Big twelve, that's how I
got my start. I was a nickel guy, and they
had me in the line of scrimmage, covering the tight end,
you know, fitting to run. And a couple of my
buddies tell me I was before my time six two
two oh five playing.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Corner man's and that's gold.
Speaker 7 (24:31):
Yeah, nickel. I started in as a nickelback, ended up
an outside corner. When I got drafted by the Patriots,
they moved me to strong safety because the way they
played defense was in the line of scrimmage, you know,
And I had to go back to being being able
to play in the line of scrimmage. And John ay
Barron looks like a guy who can hit you in
the mouth, yep, and get out there and cover you,
all right.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
I like that kid as a defensive guy, because that's
where I was going with this. I want to know,
and again, help.
Speaker 6 (24:55):
I feel like some Denver folks should know this because
of so many defensive backs they had on it twenty
fifteen No Fly Zone. But what's it? What's it do
for you? You're a DC? You said you're the DC
over at Rangery. What's due for you? When you have
that chess piece like John A barn.
Speaker 7 (25:11):
It, it simplifies everything that you do. It's when you've
got a kid like that, or multiple kids like for
the Broncos their defense. Now you've got three or four corners, right,
that simplifies your your entire defense. Dvance. Joseph is great
at what he does. He's so good. He's so good.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Did you did you play for him?
Speaker 5 (25:29):
No?
Speaker 7 (25:29):
I didn't play for him. But we're really good buddies.
We get together golf.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I've become such a fan over the last couple of years,
and I've never met him.
Speaker 7 (25:37):
We catch up on a lot of CEIO events. Dude's great,
knows exactly what he's doing. And when you've got four
corners that can play anywhere and the feel like that,
that makes his defense nasty because now you let your
linebackers fly and you say, I, dare you throw the
ball against me? It makes life so easy, so easy.
I don't quite have that.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Over at Range View, sure, but you know what I meant,
a couple.
Speaker 7 (25:58):
I got a couple of kids. It's got a couple.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Look, I'll just tell you. I mean there's been debate,
and I get it. Look d mac has said it
most here, but I've heard it a lot of places.
So this is not me just quietly picking on Dmac.
There's a lot of people that wondered, why would you
take a corner that high when there maybe were other
things that you were looking for. But you know, again,
and I think some people think if he doesn't get
the starting outside job, because we're still a little programmed
to think what a starter is that you know, oh
(26:22):
it was a bit of a waste of a pick
or this that the other. It's it's about how good
the player is and how multiple is it positions.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
Right, the more you can do, the better, the better
it is for you. We know that coaches, as high
school coaches, right when you get a kid was a
Swiss army knife and you can put him and play
him anywhere. That makes your life as a coach extreme.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
Well, you know what it is that he's a joker,
he's just a defensive joker, and nobody cares about the
defensive joke.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
At Raine View, they call that type of versatile player
a Swiss army knife.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
John Payton calls him a joker.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
You know what they're called over at Valor ball playing Jesse,
A ball playing jess, football Jesse.
Speaker 7 (27:01):
That sounds about right, all right?
Speaker 3 (27:03):
So you guys, we.
Speaker 6 (27:06):
What do you two value when it comes to these
joint practices?
Speaker 3 (27:11):
I mean again, you know we've got tweets.
Speaker 6 (27:12):
It seemed like in every phase of the practice the
Broncos were having some measure of success with their first
unit guys, which is always important, but it's really the
team teamwork, red zone, seven on seven, nine on something
like what are you value?
Speaker 3 (27:24):
And give me give me the kind of the ranking.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
So for me, my first thing I value is my
run stopping ability? What is what? What are we doing
to stop the run? Right? Regardless and even even even
at the high school level, but at these practices, join
practice is about can you stop the run? Right? We
know the NFL is about throwing the ball a gazillion times,
but can you make a stop on third down when
(27:49):
it's third and short, third and medium and somebody says
we're going to run the Baltimore Ravens come in here
and say we're going to run the ball regardless on
third and five and third and six, we're going to
hand it off anyway, right, because you've got a duel
threat in the backfield. Right. So my biggest evaluation in
these type of things is what are we doing on
third down? What are we doing in a box? Right?
(28:09):
And we handle a box. So from a defensive guy,
that's my first evaluation. That's the most important thing.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, I mean, my my biggest thing, which is it's
kind of become my obsession, is so having coached in
the Big Ten Conference for two years, it might not
have the top end elite talent that the SEC does have,
but man, you want to talk about a league that
has to like it. Defensively, if you don't fit the
run properly, you're fired, exactly, you're fired, like mid season.
(28:39):
And if you like so, if you're if your linebackers
are out of gap, or if your safeties aren't fitting
the proper gaps, you'll get exposed against the teams like
Iowa and Wisconsin and Penn State, Ohio State, those types
of team Michigan, they'll run the rock on you. The
thing I learned in that conference that was so hard is, uh,
they set the edge so well.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
So in the old.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
School defense when you were looking at more you know,
two back offenses, a full back involved of tight end,
sometimes two tight ends, the edge of the defense was
right outside the tight end, right outside the offensive tackle.
Those defensive ends that still has the edd The edge
is still there, like there is that edge, but now
in the new game, there's another edge and the new
(29:19):
edges because of all the bubbles and all the quick
screens and all the roll out passes and all the
so you have to set the edge with proper leverage
and have almost you what happens outside of the slot
receiver as a new edge that you need to set
for your deal.
Speaker 7 (29:34):
Goes back to what we were talking about. The nickelback. Yes,
that goes back to the Jakwan Millons and the Barons.
Those guys have to be able to set the edge
and fit the run. Like you're saying, coach, those nickel
guys are now hybrid linebacker safety type of cast that
can cover and run. So I feel, y'all, and.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
So for years I think the like in the Buddy Ryan,
was it the stack forty six monster defense?
Speaker 4 (29:59):
I don't even know what it is.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
Old Bears defense.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
Fair.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
So, those those outside players were were guys that commanded
a lot of a lot of a lot of I mean,
got a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Richard Dent, you know those head types of players. Nowadays,
the nickel is the new edge player. Yeah, and if
you can you have to fit the run A and
set the edges B. And if you do those two
things appropriately, obviously, then it comes down to covering.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Yeah, you're getting add all three the trifecta.
Speaker 7 (30:24):
Shoot.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
I think that's what makes the Denver Bronco special guy.
And I think they got you all three.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
And I know I know Vance very well as a friend,
and I'm gonna tell you right now, he is evaluating
those things and that's why they picked who they picked.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
In Marcus, I'm gonna I'm not gonna put you on
the spot. You're a good friend of Vance, Joseph, but
just me ten thousand foot view after the Miami Dolphins
debacle two years ago, seventy points given up on the road.
Just looking at it from I'm the son of a coach,
my dad's been in the industry a long time.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
I was like, this is it, It's over. I thought
he's he's getting he's getting fired.
Speaker 7 (30:57):
I thought he was gone.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
What have you seen from him?
Speaker 2 (31:01):
And just how he responded himself to be able to
make the main thing the main thing and get right
back to it to now building from that moment which
is rock bottom, Yeah, maybe maybe one of the worst
days for a defense coordinator in the history of the
National Football League to now having arguably the best defense
in Pro football.
Speaker 7 (31:18):
Like you said, he made the main thing the main thing.
You know what he did, He went and got and
put put more people around him. He put the right
people around him in the front office. They believed in
in Broncos. You know one thing about the Denver Broncos
in their front office, right, we know one thing about
them there. They are serious about everything that they do.
They don't bs you have one problem, you're out the door.
You know, we don't have a lot of media stuff.
(31:41):
Where a bunch of problems. Right, So rock bottom and
gave up those points. You know what, they believed in him.
They brought in some more outside staff members, put some
more people around him. They allowed him to pick the
guys he wanted to and say, hey, man, we're going
to give you another shot. I thought for sure he
was gone.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
I thought I was edited on NBC the next morning.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
I was my first time doing a Broncos postgame analysis
was after that dad Gum Dolphins game. Using Like, guys,
I don't just been in the industry.
Speaker 4 (32:10):
You don't survive these.
Speaker 7 (32:10):
You don't survive that. Yeah, but you know what, the
Broncos front office believed in him, allowed him to bring
in we needed and J has killed it. He has
turned it around. I love what he's doing. You know,
I'm trying to get an internship with him, so VJ,
if you're listening, call me back.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Unfortunately in San Francisco, but that's a great thing.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
He has downloaded the app which is fantastic.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
And I'll tell you too.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
I mean that was part of, frankly, the problem with
the first time when he was the head coach here,
he had the whole.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Staff pick for him.
Speaker 6 (32:40):
Look, it's amazing because I think people forget it didn't
take the next year for it to turn it around.
When you remember them going on that little mini playoff
run at the end of the year. Yeah, they had
basically shut down their problems by that point too. It
was about three weeks later they were playing better defense.
Also that game was there was no Justin Simmons. I
will never forget who was a twenty seven. I want
(33:01):
to say, I will never forget the guy Patrick Sartan
squared up with somebody and one of the safety's runs
to help him is Tyreek ran right by the place
that he left, And I'm like, dude, I'm pretty sure
that's not the guy you need to help. I'm not
a defensive coordinator, but I don't need dude. You keep
(33:21):
your eye on Tyreek Hill. All right, we're having some
fun here. If you want to ask some questions of
the combo, here, go ahead. Three oh three, five oh
four oh nine two five. We've got a lot planned
for today. We're gonna also make a check in out
in Cleveland as to what to expect with Shador's start tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
See what some of the Browns reporters are gonna tell us.
Speaker 6 (33:38):
So I think that's gonna be interesting because I don't
this is a radio host, so I'm not quite sure
which I don't know if they're picking camps out there
or not yet. We'll find that out too, if there's
like a Flacco camp, I can't imagine there's a picket camp.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
Is there is anybody gonna go Kenny Pickett camp.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
We know that there is a there's a group of people.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Who's got the bigger camp, Gabriel or Picket whoever the
world that has small hands. They are all in the
ticket camp holding it down. You knew that has really
small hands. Dared like cabbage Dared McKee himself is in
the picket camp.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
Yeah, team loves small hands.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
He loves them. All right, we'll come back. He's Marcus Washington,
that's Coach Sanford. I'm Andy Lyndall. It's Krekman and Lyndall.
We're back after this.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
You've got the Krekman and Lyndall Podcast. Listen live every
weekday from ten am to noon on Altitude Sports Radio
ninety two to five and on the Altitude Sports Radio App.
Speaker 3 (34:37):
Welcome back to Creikman and Lyndall. It's Andy Lyndall, Marcus Washington.
Speaker 6 (34:41):
He's with us for the duration. Coach with us with
us for fifteen more minutes. Technically they're both coaches, so
real quick though, we do want to tell you as
we talk about training camp, Training camp coverage on Altitude
Sports Radio is powered by Ramos Law, the official injury
law firm partner of Broncos Country, and we appreciate their support.
All right, let's uh, let's get down to it this
(35:05):
game coming up Saturday, now that we know about how
the practice has went, I don't think Kyle's gonna change
his mind. Right, Kyle has already said I'm not gonna
play my guys. That's very well. I guess I can't
totally say that's very Mike Shanahan, the Mike Shanahan that
I covered, would like to do the couple series in
a full quarter, then two quarters and nobody plays, So
I guess I don't know how his dad would handle
these modern times. But everybody, including you, coach, has talked
(35:28):
about and I don't know how often you dealt with this, Marcus.
You do the you do the joint practices, and then
sometimes that is the key. Let's just rest guys for
the game. What do you think we'll get out of
Saturday's game? Because the Broncos are playing the starters, and
as of right now, Coach Peyton did reiterate the starters
are playing, but I don't think we're gonna see the
(35:48):
Niner starters.
Speaker 7 (35:49):
No, no, So I think what we're gonna get out
of this camp is or this game on Saturday, is
what starters are probably playing.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
There we go, I warned you, darn yeah, man.
Speaker 7 (36:02):
Just disappeared on me. Didn't.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Starters will play it, what do you think a couple
three series?
Speaker 7 (36:07):
Probably not even that much. They'll probably play a series
and a half, maybe a series and a half, and
then he'll rest and we'll get to see a lot
of the second string guys. Guys trying to make the
roster is what I think we'll see.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
What I'd love to see from the offense, who's frankly
had a hard time just getting a look at functional
football right.
Speaker 7 (36:27):
Because of the defense putting it on them.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
I'd love to see Bo Nicks get and the offensive
starters two series, two series.
Speaker 7 (36:37):
That'd be nice.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
And if you score a touchdown on your opening series.
Speaker 7 (36:41):
Yeah, shut it down. I think they're gonna I would
like to see them highlight the run game. I would
really like to see them highlight this run game and
see what these running backs can do. And you know,
once the starters are out and you get those two
two v twos going or what well in San Francisco's
place is going to be their twos versus our one whatever.
I really like to see what these running backs can
(37:02):
do because I think that's a big part of it.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Yeah, and I think that's probably the position battle that
will be maybe determined solely by the preseason games.
Speaker 7 (37:11):
I believe.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
So JK. Dobbins is gonna be your starter.
Speaker 7 (37:14):
Yeah, you know that.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
That's good.
Speaker 7 (37:15):
Veteran R J.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Harvey, Do you have something really special? Or do you
have something special?
Speaker 7 (37:21):
Right?
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Because I can't wait to see he's gonna be special.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
But if he's if he goes out in this preseason games,
he probably play two of the three.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
If he goes out and and shows, what does that
look like?
Speaker 7 (37:31):
Right? What does that look like in a in a
preseason game? Really even special because your second string line
might not really be that good.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Probably not gonna see starting defenses either. Yeah, so it's
a little bit all relative. I would say this for
can R. J. Harvey break tackles?
Speaker 3 (37:49):
You know what I've seen?
Speaker 7 (37:52):
No, you gotta.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
So that's why your estimate has been in the position
he has been where he just hasn't broken through. He's
not yet letely earned the trust of Sean Payton because
he put the b on the g man put the
ball on the ground in last year's preseason game.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
Sean Payton cane. It seems like Sean Payton can't get
over it.
Speaker 6 (38:11):
Well, he's a old school like that, right. I mean,
Mike Shannan, do you remember you guys are probably too young.
There was a running back. It was something Howard out
of Michigan that the Broncos picked up in nineteen ninety eighty.
He was like a second or third round pick. High
hopes for the kid, and he could run the football,
There's no doubt about it. But he went through camp.
I think he had a fumble in the first two
preseason games.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
And that's it. Lights out.
Speaker 4 (38:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Did he may make the team. He showed great like
instinct to run. But he was like you took coaches money.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
RJ.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Harvey would I'd like to see frankly, because I think
you and I have seen a couple of it when
they've gone eleven on eleven. There have been a couple
of times.
Speaker 6 (38:46):
Where he's like, I feel like he's legit got the corner,
not a practice rep. I got the corner. Legit I
am too fast for everyone, and I'm gonna get outside
and then what does it look like after? And if
I get a couple of those to know that that's
a real thing from what we saw for then I'm good.
How do you guys balance showing because again with the
addition of an Evan Ingram, with the RJ. Harvey, with
(39:08):
Pat Bryan, even Shawn's got some surprise of some new things.
I think this offense can do Evan Ingram in particular,
that he couldn't do a year ago. He did't have
a tight end to run the Evan Ingram out routes, right,
So how do you balance working on a little of
it but not giving them tape so you have some
surprise the first few games of the season.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
I think it's all about you have different humans doing
your base concepts than you did a year ago. Therefore
those should look better. So there's gonna be a lot
of the concepts that are already on film. You just
a year ago were running that same concept with Lucas
Kroll as opposed to Evan Ingram, and so that like
Evan Ingram is a one series guy for me.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
In the preseason, you gotta keep you gotta keep him
healthy and then he's done it. JK. Dobbins, I would
play him.
Speaker 7 (39:54):
I'd play him too, because Dobbins, even though he's a veteran,
he still I think he you know, he's had some
injury problems as well, so I think he still needs
to kind of get his nose dirty just a little
bit more, just to get to get the fill of again,
because he's always had it. He's been nicked up here
and there. You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (40:09):
Because he's looked great at training camp.
Speaker 7 (40:12):
Has he okay great?
Speaker 2 (40:14):
Oh I'm telling you I think and I didn't and
like it hasn't looked great as in he's dominating and
ripping off eighty yard runs or.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
Pass just everything. Man, he just looks like a pro.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
He looks like a feature back in the National Football League,
which this team did not have last year.
Speaker 6 (40:29):
Okay, not only that, And I think each team needs this.
You need a guy that's not like he's shown us.
I ain't afraid to talk. Like the other day, you
probably heard about the Malcolm Roach thing where Malcolm was
it was funny.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
What I loved about it was the next.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Play they ran a wide zome play where he had
a cutback, and I mean he'd have been in the
open field, and he came back and he let the
whole defensive line know it for like five minutes, and
I think the defensive line were like, dude, are you done.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
You're still talking over there, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (40:57):
But I like that guy.
Speaker 7 (40:59):
You've got to have a dog on offense. There's really one,
and they haven't had anybody.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
You've got to got to have.
Speaker 7 (41:05):
A guy on offense who will hit you in the mouth,
who will fight a linebacker, who will fight a dB,
who'll talk crap the entire time, because if you don't
have that that kind of when you've got a guy
like that, it sets the tone for your offense.
Speaker 4 (41:18):
What's interesting is the.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Old quote that you hear is that bad teams no
one leads. Yeah, average teams. Coaches lead good, great teams.
Players lead exactly. And it's almost like the offense has
taken on this whole persona. Sean Payton has had a
bit of a stranglehold on the leadership part of the offense.
Rightfully so, he was year two and with a brand
(41:41):
new rookie quarterback. I feel like this year, the addition
of JK Dobbins is bringing to the offense. I hope
the opportunity for a player to lead.
Speaker 4 (41:50):
I hope on that side of the.
Speaker 7 (41:51):
Because he's been in a couple of the systems like
with you know, with the Ravens and whatever. He's been
in some other systems where it is smash mouth, hit you.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
In the last year, like starting the season last year too,
and I think he.
Speaker 7 (42:03):
Could be the guy who could who could be the
leader of that that offense.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Like kind of the emotional spark you need that and
we kind of kind of like they do their job
really well. Yeah, like for their pros, they're pros. I
don't want to call them soft, but they're they're just
kind of like fluffy.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
They're like fluffy. They do their job. Nobody talking crap,
you know.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Yeah, he's the only guy enough training campus he's been
probably with consistency. Yeah, none of the other guys talk,
which is fine. I do the job and they're then
they're they're pros about their craft. We know that Bo's
a highly serious quarterback. He doesn't have that kind of
Patrick mahomes playfulness and John and all that stuff, and
that's not really his jam. Got to have that dog
(42:45):
we got to find it somewhere to find and that's
why I think his health is going to be a
paramount of importance as well.
Speaker 7 (42:50):
Quarterbacks like bow Knicks are leaders, right, we know that,
we know he leads by actions. He probably leads in
the in the in the you know, film room and
all those things. But who's who's doing that right, who's
on the field, letting on the offensive side, letting guys know,
finger in your face. You've been at camp, coach, hasn't
been any any scuffles.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
Now, No, but it's been like the right, i'd say,
the appropriate level of physical Yeah, a little extra, but
not It's it's like they're they're competing with not against,
you know what i mean, competing hard with each other.
Speaker 7 (43:24):
Oh good, and it's pading about scuffles. How is he
about that?
Speaker 6 (43:28):
We haven't had to seeing break when I'm sure he's
like all coaches, don't you dare get hurt?
Speaker 4 (43:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (43:32):
With this, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (43:35):
Now, I think it looks like a mission oriented team.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Like it's it's like the main thing is the main thing,
and that's it's Yeah, that's right, that's what I've seen.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
How does this grab you? Guys? Before we let Coach
Sanford go.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
There was a tweet about they were doing a special
teams exercise and a couple of San Francisco gunners got
into it with one of the Bronco gunners on the
sideline and all of a sudden, as it was written,
it was twenty five verse two. So there's the right
event like the ole Broncos sideline. If you're gonna you're
gonna start this over here. They all showed up for
the party.
Speaker 4 (44:04):
Love that.
Speaker 6 (44:06):
I don't think it turned anything big, but again they
figured out you're on the wrong sideline, bro.
Speaker 7 (44:12):
So you never want to be on the wrong sideline.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
Get out quick.
Speaker 3 (44:17):
Yeah, all right, coach, we appreciate it as always. We'll
talk great tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (44:22):
It's great to Washington and here now coming up four twenty,
we got a lot on We're gonna try to connect
with romy Bean, who is out there, but she's got
a lot of TV commitments, so we're gonna try to
make this work as best we can. We're also gonna
go out to Cleveland and talk to Darryl Ryder and
he's gonna tell us what we're seeing out of Shdore
as he gets ready to get this first start with
the Browns, and we'll just see from a guy who
(44:42):
I probably don't think has a dog in the hunt,
as they like to say, how he feels this is
gonna go. That's all ahead here on Crekman and Lyndall
