Speaker 1 (00:00):
You've got the Krekman and Lyndahl podcast. Listen live every
weekday from ten am to noon on Altitude Sports Radio
ninety two to five and on the Altitude Sports Radio app.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
It is Craikman and Lindahl. Five o'clock hour underway. Marcus
Washington hanging with us today. We are at Jeff Lagwald
in tomorrow, as he was out there in San fran
as well. They're not gonna have him stay for the
preseason game, so Jeff is gonna go ahead, He's gonna
jump on a plane, get back here, and we'll get
more intel as to what was seen for the Broncos
and Niners, and really for a lot of people, they'll
(00:34):
tell you because all the starters were involved, or at
least as many that were healthy too, which for the
Broncos was most of them. For all the fact that
all the starters were going in practice today probably the
bigger moment today than what we could see play out
on Saturday when the Niners, according to Kyle Shanahan, not
gonna play as starters as some coaches choose to do.
So be interesting to talk to Jeff about that. It's
(00:54):
five o'clock on Crekman and Lindall.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
You know what that means. It's the High five. Here's
Mark Springer.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Hey, the Broncos and nine had that joint practice out
in California today and by all accounts, the Broncos won
this practice. Let's hear from an assortment of folks following
this practice. Let's art with Sean Payton his opening comments
after practice.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
So obviously a lot of good film for us to
get on here in the next you know, day and
a half anytime. And you guys know this, You get
to work against a different team, different cadence, different defense alignments,
offensively the same way, rout concepts. You know, you're you're
solving maybe some problems on the fly. You know, I
(01:37):
spent the book most of the practice on the offensive field.
Of course, Kyle was on their offensive field, so uh,
I said, you know, I said to the players there
there's a lot when we get back to the hotel
that we're going to want to look at clean up.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Overall, I was pleased with the work.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
We got and and both sides at ought, you know,
handled themselves well. It was competitive and yet you know,
we got a ton of situational work, you know, two
minute red zone third down. A lot of teamwork. So
a lot of players getting a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Is that what's the best part about these joint practices?
As nobody has to wait their turn anymore, you're not
maybe rotating quickly as much.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
Yeah, oh, definitely, because you got multiple fields going ones
versus twos, twos versus ones on each sigh. And like
he said, the film work. Everybody gets work, and then
you go back and see where you can get better
at on film.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Again, by all accounts, it was a good day for
the Broncos. And you can hear right there.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Sean Payton seems please, I fine.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, how did bo Nicks look today? From Sean Payton's perspective, here, Sean.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
Overall looks Listen, I think we had good tempo. You know,
I thought we did some good things in the running game.
You know, you get a chance in a situation like that.
It's not tackle, but you get a chance to see
some of the spontaneous plays that you know he's able
to make. And so you know, we'll go back and
and and look, look, you know, with a little bit
(03:10):
tighter lens at at everything.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
You know, it is interesting because again I was seeing
tweets of a couple of touchdowns tossed to Courtland Sutton,
one in team I believe, one in red zone.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
They did miss a chance, but I guess Bo and
r J.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Harvey weren't quite on the same page at the end
of red zone where they could have had one. But
you know, that's just how it goes sometimes. Romy was
on with US. Romy Bean from CBS four came on
and said Bow made a number of plays what she
called second play, Bo getting things to happen, had a
long pass to Franklin, so Detroy Franklin. So it sounds
(03:45):
to me like he had a pretty good day, and
I think Bo probably needed I think he was getting
a little sick of the Broncos defense.
Speaker 6 (03:50):
Yeah, yeah, I heard they were. They were putting a
lot of pressure on him. And you know what, we're
all hoping that there is no sophomore slump.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Well, and that's the one thing you wonder about.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
I do have to ask, is a defensive guy, how
do you determine a sack in preseason?
Speaker 6 (04:04):
Well, but Sean Payton said, there's no tackle, right, there's
no tackle. This is not tackle football anymore.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
If you get two hands, do you guys consider that
deck because you always see.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
That's a sack. But you know you can't even you
can't smell the quarterback. These days, you got to put
a flag on those guys. Pull the pull the flag.
Pull the flag for the quarterbacks the days.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Fine, speaking of not being able to tackle, dude, stuff
you get engage on the running backs. Broncos have quite
the stable. They have six running backs with R. J.
Harvey just at the very bottom of that depth chart.
Sean Payton, how did the running backs look against the Niners?
Speaker 5 (04:42):
Yeah, I want to see the film. You know, I
thought they all you know, they got a lot of reps.
We had a lot of team reps. So look, some
schemes are more inside where your valuation or average per
is going to be different than other schemes.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
But we'll see on the table.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Dude, that a lot of planes going over. I don't
know if Spring heard that in all the cuts he
was trying to pick out. I was like, man, is
it like rush.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Hour at the airport? Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, going was one plane after another while he was talking.
All right, I asked you this last night when you
and I had our initial chat about the show.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Today.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
But how do you evaluate a running back in modern
times like this, how do you even do it in
high school? Do you do a lot of hitting still
in high school? Or how do you go about it?
Speaker 6 (05:27):
They have limited us a little bit with the hitting
in high school, mostly because of the heat these days,
especially what we're we're having right now. But to evaluate
a running back, you know, it's ken the kid can
he can? He does?
Speaker 7 (05:40):
He have a second gear? Right?
Speaker 6 (05:42):
You're you're always looking for a back that has that
extra gear and uh with it In today's NFL, Like
I said, this is not tackle football anymore. These guys
have got a bit of hit a second hit that
second gear and get between the tackles, or get outside
and do that thing I'm looking for. I'm looking for
r J. I was in pressed with him in college though.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, and he's had some moments, you know, in these practices.
But again, I just you want to back that you know,
can maybe break contact.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Coaches have always told me we'll block it up for
three yards. I want you to get four or five.
I need you to do a little something extra bare minimum, right,
get one get by at least one guy for me?
Speaker 7 (06:21):
Or what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (06:21):
One extra play?
Speaker 7 (06:23):
Right right after contact.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
It goes back to why this is going to be
I guess if nothing else, hopefully can see how these
running backs handle the contact as they get in there
tomorrow or Saturday.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Fine, all right, let's hear from bow Knicks who had
a good day. It appears today out in California. I
don't read this tweet, and you referenced this. Andy Sean
Payton even alluded to this this tweet from Luke Evans
of the Denver Post.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
He tweeted at one oh eight.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Mountain time bow Knicks with one of the plays of
the day so far, chase to the right sideline, falling
out of bounds, flings the ball cross body with lower
arm slot to Devon Valley over the middle.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
Nasty stuff.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Here's bone Nicks on what makes them so good at
the second play when the initial play breaks down.
Speaker 9 (07:13):
But it's something that's you know, happens naturally, but it's
definitely something you got to work at and you know,
take time working at it.
Speaker 10 (07:21):
It can be a strength if you allow it to be.
Speaker 9 (07:24):
So those plays are always you know, can be good,
can be bad, and I just want to go out
there and make the best play at that time.
Speaker 10 (07:31):
Whether it's running, whether it's finding a person to throw
it to.
Speaker 9 (07:34):
And so we've been practicing that really this offseason, this
training camp.
Speaker 10 (07:39):
It's hard to kind of really.
Speaker 9 (07:43):
Do them because they're so like abrupt, they just you know,
they're out of nowhere, and so you just go out
there and try to make a play and don't make
you know, something bad worse.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
I'll tell you this.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
When it came to bone Nicks, one of the things
that was greatly underappreciated, and I think at least for me,
and in part it was because where he was at
an Oregon everything was literally two seconds. It was barely
a five step drop. It was usually a three step drop.
Ball was out quickly a lot. But his ability to
just get out and improvise greatly underrated.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
We saw that a lot last year. We did.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
We saw him do that a lot last year. Sometimes
some of the lineman would get beat, not saying who
someone on the left side. Guys would get beat coming
around the corner sometimes and he had to make that
improvised play and he did a really good job at it.
You know, he's hey, he would throw it away, or
guy's got good, good legs too.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
He runs pretty well, I am curious at the high
school level, do you deal with a lot of trying
to coach him not to be Mahomes? And I'm not
saying Bo's trying to do that, but I feel like
for my generation, it was Elway was the guy that
scrambled around, and I think a lot of us, especially
if you grew up here like I did, you wanted
to be like John Elway and maybe a little running
when you didn't need to run, whether it's the running
or the weird arm throwing.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Because I think Caleb Williams tries a little more of
that than he needs to too. That's a Patrick Mahomes
influence guy. Do you have to coach a lot of
that out of high school?
Speaker 6 (09:04):
You've got to coach it out of some of the kids.
Some of the kids are just trying to emulate what
they see on television. But then if the kid is
good at it, which we have a kid over at
Range View who's very good at it, you just let
it go.
Speaker 7 (09:16):
If he's good at it, you let him do it,
you know.
Speaker 6 (09:18):
And I know one of the kids we've got at
quarterback right now, he's dangerous with his legs and if
you keep him in a pocket, he'll he'll give you
the business. So you know, kids are doing what they
see on TV these days, but if they're good at it,
let him go.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Well, some guys don't want to let him go. Sometimes.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
I don't think Sean Payton wants to let him go,
but he certainly trusts Bo to let him go more
than he trusted Russ to do it.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
I fine, all right, And finally, let's hear from Kyle Shanahan.
Let's hear from the opposition. Niner's head coach talking after practice.
He saw talanoa whufonga on the other side. Drake Greenlaw
was out there, but he didn't practice. He's a little
bang dub. Sean Payton says he should be able to
return from his little injury next week. Kyle Shanahan, it's
a different Niners team, not quite the same personnel they've
(10:04):
had in years past. Did today's practice change at all,
considering it appears the Broncos won this practice. Where he
thinks his team is right now?
Speaker 11 (10:14):
No, I think you always have an idea. I mean,
just we know players pretty well, and we know' been
in this long enough, and you know you always stack
up how you've been and where guys are out exactly,
but going against a new group because it just gets
so monotonous here in camp and gets old going against
your own guys. But when you go against a group
like theirs, you know, just you know, especially you know
defensively what they did last year statistically in all their phases,
(10:36):
and the guys that they added this offseason, you knew
that was a really good challenge for us.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
And I know they got a bunch of good players.
Speaker 10 (10:42):
On offense too.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
All right, do the Niners have to worry because I
think you know from Afar, At least for me, I'll
root for Kyle Shanahan because he's the son of the
greatest coach in Bronco history. You know, I don't love
the Niners necessarily because they got the Broncos one time
in the Super Bowl. That was just brutal to watch
as a child. I didn't have broke my heart. But
I'll route for Kyle. But do you have to worry
about that window closing? I mean, this is a team
(11:05):
that went to two Super Bowls. I think they got
to another NFC championship. Feels like injuries are starting to
beset the roster a little bit. You lost a couple
of good players like a Hufonga and a Dre green Law.
Now you had to pay your quarterback. We'll see how
that limits some stuff. I mean, they literally had an
all star team and felt like put together top of
the position in most of the positions out there, especially
on offense, you know, and now all of a sudden,
(11:26):
you don't have Deebo Samuel anymore. Let's not forget that
he's in Washington, and I'm forget who's the other guy,
the other receiver, the other receiver that got hurt blew
his knee out, Brandon Aiyuk. So there's you know, do
they got to worry about this window shutting on them?
Speaker 6 (11:40):
Well, you know what, I'm going to root for that
kid from Valor two that's over there, Okay, great running
back in the backfield over there.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah, yeah, Christian McCaffrey.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Caffrey does he is?
Speaker 3 (11:47):
He the great equalizer for them?
Speaker 7 (11:49):
Or if he stays healthy, he is the great equalizer?
Is that guy?
Speaker 6 (11:52):
He's a triple threat all the way around. See that's
a joker, by the way, Yeah, that's a joke. He's
a joker, you know what I mean? But you know, uh,
I think the window is closing on them. I got
a couple of San Francisco forty nine er friends out
there that may be listening to the show right now,
and I'm gonna tell you right now, I hate to
say it, but I think the window's closing on those guys.
They've gotten rid of a lot of guys who are
(12:13):
playmakers like Deebo Samuels. They've got to keep McCaffrey injury free,
and they've lost some receivers.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
So I think that window is kind of shutting on Kyle.
And I'm a fan of his, will, you know.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
So it'll be interesting.
Speaker 8 (12:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Maybe they'll come out and they'll shore proper personnel and
they'll remind us that there's still one of the big
teams in the NFC.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
But I mean, you had those two listen. They should
have won. They should have won both the Super Bowls
against the Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Absolutely, And if you're hearing dev R, I remember the
first time I sit with some buddies and of course
from rooting hard against the Chiefs, and the minute he
hit that big pass to Tyree Kill, I was like,
they just did it. They just did it to themselves.
You can't let him have the one play. You didn't
let him have the one play. And then they almost
came back. And that's when Garoppolo overflows me, overthrows Emmanuel.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Sanders, and then I don't know what was going on
in the world.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
A couple of how you didn't win that one a
couple of years ago. That's the one I think it's
really gonna sting you for a while.
Speaker 7 (13:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
So there are some other teams out there that are
making big pushes. H And I'm gonna tell you right,
I'm not a big fan of this team, but Detroit
Lyons look really good and I think their window they
have a bigger window than the forty nine ers have.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Right, do you how much do you.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Think losing Ben Johnson will hurt? Oh and frankly Ben
Johnson and Aaron Glenn, they lost both coordinators.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
Yeah, that's that's that's really gonna sting because that's your
base right now. You're starting over with new coordinators, guys
learning new terminology, new plays, knew all this and a
the other that that's gonna that's gonna sting big time.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah, especially when you got Jared Goff. Remember Jared Goff
had something special going a little bit with the Rams
in the early going.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Or no, it was it was McVeigh.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
It wasn't with Vish, but it was with McVeigh with
mcig then he leaves and it took.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Him a year to get going with Ben Johnson. But yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
I'll be curious to see how if Goff can't keep
going this time, where is he he hit some ball
in the roads after m or after he Uh, it
was really the first year with mcveighy was good. And
then he started cutting off the Remember they cut off
the quarterback helmet early.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Oh yeah, the communication.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah, and I think that hurts you it a little
bit too. And I think that's when Sean was like,
all right, man, I might have to go get me
someone else. All right, we've got our annual event planned
and ready to go.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
Annual event.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Now we're gonna keep an eye on Marcus Washington because
when we come back, Mark Springer, this is why we're
doing it. We've got a full slate of preseason action
coming up this year or this weekend, I should say,
how well do you know your backup quarterbacks? We're gonna
find out next year on Creikman and Linda Oh.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
You've got the Krekman and Lyndahl Podcast. Listen live every
weekday from ten am to noon on Altitude Sports Radio
ninety two to five and on the Altitude Sports Radio App.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
It is Kreikman and Lyndall. Please da you'll long. Marcus
Washington filling in today again. Nate crek been back on Monday,
and we'll have a Bronco game to break down spring.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Are we doing the fantasy draft tomorrow? We got a
fantasy draft?
Speaker 8 (15:08):
Yeah, we got a fantasy draft early.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
No, you got a fantasy draft. Your your your preseason team.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
What we pick? What we pick? Three? Four players?
Speaker 7 (15:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Three, let's go three offensive players, one defensive player.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
That's what you do.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
It's how you make preseason football interesting when you don't
know who people are.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
You know what I mean, that's what you gotta do.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Like I'm telling you right now, unless Spring jumps on it,
I'm taking jo Keen Davis.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
I like the young guy.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I think he's made some plays. That's what we're talking about.
You can't take the guys that you know aren't gonna
play very long.
Speaker 7 (15:43):
You know what? That does make it interesting?
Speaker 6 (15:45):
So give you something to watch right, Yeah, and the
group for you guys, and.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
When you get one of your ten plays that the
guy's in and it doesn't go your way, you can
you can find it again. It just makes you care
about preseason football because it's not the way that it
used to be now and other one of our traditions.
I don't know, will we have a drinking game by
the way to tomorrow spring?
Speaker 7 (16:04):
I'm down?
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Maybe maybe? Yeah, see Nate, Nate's real good at the
drinking game.
Speaker 7 (16:08):
Props.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
There we go, what do we do it?
Speaker 7 (16:10):
Tequila whiskey?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
No, you know what some of these things like, if
you get a Mike McGlinchey false start during the regular season,
we just tell you water because that could put you
under the table pretty quickly with the way sometimes those
things go. Although hopefully it all be better this year.
What we like to do every year, Nate Krekman likes
to surprise me. Now, I promise I've not looked this up.
I called Spring. I had a bunch of stuff to
(16:32):
do today. I said, do you want to put the
list together and serve as need? Because once we've had
a weekend of preseason action and everybody knows I watch
way too much preseason football.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
We can't do this anymore. So Spring, are you ready
to game show host?
Speaker 7 (16:46):
Here we go.
Speaker 8 (16:48):
Do you know your backup quarterback?
Speaker 3 (16:50):
We're gonna find out.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
You know, Andy, you got a little bit of a
primer when we went through that against the spread list.
All right, so well, but your memory is.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
So his mine.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
He had, Mark had a real really interesting list of
against the spread if the starter goes out the backup,
and how well they think it would affect the spread?
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Right, Like, who is the top one? Holmes wasn't the
top one? Who's Josh Allen?
Speaker 8 (17:18):
Allen? Yeah, when his backup comes in. But we won't
spoil anything.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
Yes, let's start. Let's start in the division. Let's start
in the This should be a layup. Should be a
layup for you guys. Who is the Chiefs backup quarterback?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
Andy?
Speaker 3 (17:29):
You're up first, the Chiefs backup quarterback. They just signed
a new one.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
If I'm not mistaken, Gosh, I knew this and I
already forgot. They signed a guy that actually was a
starter for a while. I I can't remember, though, I
think I go ahead. You know you could steal.
Speaker 6 (17:48):
He's got the ridiculous mustache. Yeah, you had that issue
the minsh man.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Because when Blaine Gabber or something like a year ago,
Spring he decided he'd move on from all those rings.
Speaker 8 (18:03):
Sure, the Chad Henny era is over.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
And now we got Gardner minshew is.
Speaker 7 (18:09):
Can we get multiple choice here?
Speaker 3 (18:11):
No?
Speaker 8 (18:11):
No, that's not how this works. Okay, I got one.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Now you're first guest here.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Come on, markets here up first here? Who is the
It should be a laya. Who is the Raiders backup quarterback?
Speaker 7 (18:25):
Raiders backup quarterback?
Speaker 2 (18:28):
One of them moved to LA and he's playing a
lot of Stafford hurt. So that guy's gone, oh.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
Hey, all right, Andy Steeles O'Connell, come on, O'Connell, good call.
Speaker 7 (18:45):
Well, he was the only.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
One left right Spring, because we can't see the other
guy now, Spring probably doesn't want to ask about the
Rams because we already gave a hint that we know it.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
But yeah, the other guy's getting a lot of work. Spring.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I'm gonna ruin the Rams just because of it. The
other guy played with Devantae Adams and it made the
room awkward because he's out there.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Do you know who that is? Now?
Speaker 7 (19:04):
He played with DeVante Adams.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
In Oakland or in Las Vegas. He's very handsome.
Speaker 6 (19:16):
What's his name, pretty boy, jim Jimmy garopp the guy
with the beautiful My wife thinks he's got beautifulies.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Well, Jimmy garoppol I think a lot of wives think that.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
But yeah, a lot of people like his grandma on
the subway commercial or whatever it was too.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
But yeah, Jimmy.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Garoppolo's out there, and everyone's claiming the Garoppolos made the
Rams comfortable. So even if Stafford isn't quite ready beginning
of the year that Sean McVay thinks, so be fine.
Devanta Adams is like, no, no, I really didn't hate
Jimmy Garoppolo's throws.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
It was just we were in in Vegas. In Vegas suck.
We just didn't like the Raiders.
Speaker 7 (19:47):
We are good now, yeah, right, we never.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Thought you'd see that dude again.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
It's a lesson in life, kids. You never know what
coworker may show up in your life again, so always
be careful.
Speaker 7 (19:58):
Don't burn those bridges.
Speaker 8 (20:00):
All right, we got it.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
I got the Chargers unofficial depth chart up here. We
have an OR situation.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Oh we're back.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
We got an OR situation. So I will accept either.
I'll accept one of two names. Andy, who is the
Charger's backup quarterback?
Speaker 7 (20:13):
Is it one of them?
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Easton Stick still?
Speaker 8 (20:15):
Nope, he's gone.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
He's gone.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
I don't know where he is. Let me google him.
Oh oh he was not very good.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
No, he wasn't very good. But now I'm worried.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
I don't know he's on another I actually haven't gone
to this team yet, so he might be this team's
backup quarterback.
Speaker 8 (20:28):
He's in the NFC. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Okay, Houston Stick's now in the NFC. We got one
of two names here. It's this guy or this guy
backing up Justin Herbert? Andy, give me one of those
two names.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
I can't. Justin Easton Stick was my guy. I didn't know. Okay,
Justin Herbert feels like he never gets hurt.
Speaker 7 (20:44):
That's true, that guy.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, Marcus Washington, do you know one of these two names?
Speaker 7 (20:51):
Tyler Heineke?
Speaker 8 (20:52):
Correct?
Speaker 3 (20:53):
You look at you off the top rope.
Speaker 7 (20:57):
Look at that baby.
Speaker 8 (20:59):
Scott also would have accepted Trey Lance.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Trey Lance is a Charger. You're right? How did I
forget about that? Trey Lances?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
You know why I didn't watch an absolute second of
the Hall of Fame game. I'm sure there are a
bunch of people screaming at their radios because I didn't
watch the Hall of Fame game. I didn't get to
see that the graphics on that eagle eye thing that
they were doing. Trey Lance was in our lives. Did
he do anything?
Speaker 3 (21:24):
I know? I forgot on him. Did Did? Did Lance
have a good game?
Speaker 7 (21:28):
Lance?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Watch it?
Speaker 6 (21:29):
There were reports that Trey Lance played really well in
that game. Actually I thought I thought he threw a touchdown?
Actually or too?
Speaker 8 (21:36):
You know, I was in San Diego, didn't.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
I wasn't tunny, actually, I think because I can't. There's
no books, there's no apps. Oh it's not legal.
Speaker 8 (21:47):
Yeah, I forgot so I was. You know, I didn't care.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
I'll go look it up. Yeah, you know what, I
still don't care. Frankly.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
I mean, it's the Hall of Fame game. I've had
to cover that game. It's like the worst game ever,
the worst. The players don't want to be there. It's
fifty fifth feety. Whether the turf is going to be
good enough for you to even play on it, and
it's a glorified now it's a sweet high school stadium.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Trust me.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
It's a sweet high school stadium, but it's still high
school stadium.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
All right, let's go to the AFC North Now, Marcus,
you're up first. You stole your You're up first?
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Oh crap?
Speaker 4 (22:17):
In fact, this quarterback this team is playing right now.
First preseason game is underway. The Ravens lead the Cold
seven to three.
Speaker 7 (22:24):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
This quarterback, Lamar is not playing, so his backup is starting.
He is two of three for sixteen yards with an interception.
The Ravens have scored despite that, though, who is that
quarterback Marcus who's starting for the Ravens tonight? Who is
Lamar Jackson's backup?
Speaker 6 (22:40):
I'm gonna get smacked for not knowing this. Answer his
first year with this team. This is a little trick. Oh,
this is the first year with the first year back tot.
Speaker 7 (22:51):
So he's gone.
Speaker 6 (22:53):
My son's a big Ravens fan and he's gonna smack
me for not knowing this.
Speaker 7 (22:57):
But is his first year? Was he drafted by him
or is he.
Speaker 8 (22:59):
Nough came over via free agency?
Speaker 4 (23:02):
He is a recognizable backup with another team for the
past several years.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
I didn't help, he's trying to help. Can't be justin fields.
He's starting with the Jets.
Speaker 8 (23:14):
Andy, you gotta steal.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I don't have a steal. I don't know who they're
going is neither? Go ahead?
Speaker 8 (23:18):
All right, it's Cooper Rush.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Coo Cooper Rush. Oh he's still going.
Speaker 7 (23:22):
Yep, he's still in the league.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
By the way, Trey Lance was thirteen of twenty fo
one hundred and twenty yards, passing in two touchdowns the
Lions last week. What'd you say we got out of
Cooper Rush so far two of three for sixteen yards
and a pick and a pick. But the Ravens are
up seven to three because Keaton Mitchell has ran the
ball five times for fifty three yards and has a touchdown.
Speaker 8 (23:45):
Well, and so they running the ball?
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Well, yeah, what did Marcus Washington tell us they're going
to feature the run most of these games?
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Okay, Cincinnati Bengals, Andy, who is there backing big?
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Come on all day? Drafted, We don't even have to
debate that.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Well, his wife for his girlfriends quite she made quite
the impression on everybody. Sure, Jimmy Garoppolo's eyes made impression
on some of our lady friends.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Okay, Marcus Washington, who is listed as QB two on
the Cleveland Browns depth chart.
Speaker 7 (24:15):
Well, I know it's not Shador Sanders.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
QB. Think about it. Think about it.
Speaker 6 (24:22):
Picket, Ye, it's Kenny Pickett is listed as QB two behind.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Just handing out hamstring injuries in Cleveland for some reason,
because both Gabriel and Pickett have them.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
My hey, this is for my launch, pat guys and
the Victor Vector Cup champions. Cleveland is where dreams go
to die.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Thank you? How to hate that city?
Speaker 8 (24:42):
All right?
Speaker 4 (24:43):
I got Marcus up three to two here in terms
of hits Andy, who is the Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback
behind Aaron Rodgers?
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Isn't it Mason Rudolph?
Speaker 7 (24:52):
Still it is he officially number two?
Speaker 3 (24:55):
Who is the other guy that was there?
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Because they were worried they wouldn't have anybody if they
didn't get Rogers.
Speaker 8 (25:00):
They got Skyler Thompson style.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
They drafted Will Howard out of Ohio's actually been pretty good,
but he has a broken pinky, so he will not play.
I don't think on Saturday against Travis Hunter making his
two way debut.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
For those who know the name but can't place Will
Howard the QB of Ohio State, I think he's.
Speaker 7 (25:21):
Going to be pretty good.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
Let's go to the AFC East Marcus. Who is Josh
Allen's back up with the Bills?
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Man, we should know this. He was on Hard Knocks
just the other night.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
Hard Knock, I know, but all it was Josh Allen.
They didn't talk about any other quarterbacks. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Yeah, I don't know either. Who is it?
Speaker 8 (25:47):
It is Trubisky?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Forget that, you know why, He's totally forgettable. That's why
I forgot. He went back there, you know what? And
he was featured about.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
A guy they talked about it.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
He was a starter once and they just kind of
mentioned Mitch True he's been here a while. And they
showed the quarterback room. By the way, spring a sense
of the article. I gotta ask, did you watch Hard Knocks?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Spring? No, you didn't care. We had said yesterday it
was boring, and apparently that's been the thing.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Yeah, but Pro Football Talk said it's not gonna get
any better.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
Do you still like Hard Knocks? I look forward to
it too, but now it's going to be this dry here. Yeah,
I hope it. I hope you get you gotta have
some you gotta have some drama in there. Somewhere.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
We gotta have that crazy old line coach from Cleveland
comparing everybody to an animal.
Speaker 6 (26:34):
So are they are they no longer showing guys get
cut on Hard Knocks.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
The did not allowed to see that. I thought it
was it was uh insensitive.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
You know what?
Speaker 6 (26:42):
That really gives the fans an insight to really how
things work.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Yeah, that's what I want to see.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Give me a taste of what this was. It don't
need the hype video for you. I will say it
does get better once they played a game, though. I
do find an interesting Sometimes I will specifically watch the
Hard Knocks team's preseason game to see what they take
from that and then put on the show.
Speaker 8 (27:02):
All right, Andy, this is it's all about timing. This
is your day. This should this should be you right here?
Who is too? Is back up with the Dolphins?
Speaker 3 (27:09):
Oh it's Zach Allen.
Speaker 8 (27:11):
Come on, baby, Zach Allen.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Oh, Zach Wilson. Sorry, Zach Wilson. Zach Allen plays for
Jack Wilson was here, he was and honestly, to a
I don't trust who is gonna stay healthy? Zach Wilson
where it looks like he's throwing the ball. Well, again,
it's not about it's not about his physical talent. The
(27:33):
guy has got a great arm. The problem is will
his head get right and will he not? Like you know,
can he pull a Sam Darnold and wash the stink
of the Jets off him and what they do to
the quarterbacks and become a viable option for teams in
this league after being the number two overall pick behind
Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Like you said, he's got a great arm. It's all
upstairs with him.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
He really is.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
I would have been fascinated to see Zach Allen with
three years of Sean Payton and could Sean have repaired him.
Speaker 7 (28:04):
I don't tell him that. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Sounds a miracle worker, but I don't know if he's
that good. Hey, Zach had some moments last year. Remember
people kind of liked what they saw. There were people
that wanted Zach Oversteady after the last game, the preseason
game of the year. Yeah, but again it's preseason. Fair enough,
it's preseason.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
He was a starter. They're showing you basic looks. You
should probably do pretty well.
Speaker 8 (28:25):
Again to do pretty well, Yeah, this is a tough one.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Marcus Washington, who is Drake May's back up with the Patriots.
Speaker 7 (28:32):
Breake me.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
God.
Speaker 7 (28:39):
Nobody pays attention to the except.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Who's the dude that's been there? He might have played
with you?
Speaker 4 (28:46):
He's he had him a couple moments in the past
few years. Got I know who this is sexy for
like a few weeks or like reliable with the Vikings.
I'll give you a hint. He was the Vikings starting
quarterback when the Vikings needed to turn to a dude
off the street or off someone else's team.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Is it Mullins, Nick Mullens, No, it is not.
Speaker 8 (29:11):
Uh, you're not gonna get this.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
Who who you got?
Speaker 4 (29:14):
It's Josh Dobbs job the past.
Speaker 8 (29:20):
Good calling the nickname.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
You know he looks like he looks like the guy
from Reading Rainbow. Yeah, you're if those people anyone who
knows those old TV that old that old like TV
show what a guy would read books.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
He looks like the guy from Reading Rainbow.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
It kind of looks like Charlie Villain a waiva. I
think they got like that alopecia thing or whatever going anyways.
Andy Lindall, who is justin Field's back up with the Jets.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Oh this is a good one because basically, I don't
think like they did anything, did they?
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Who is there?
Speaker 7 (29:50):
Now?
Speaker 8 (29:51):
I believe that this guy's new and.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
He's got a similar skill set to Justin Should just
Ton go out? Yeah, it's someone who plays like Justin Fields.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Go ahead and take it?
Speaker 7 (30:07):
Is it? Tyrod Taylor?
Speaker 8 (30:08):
It is.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
Good call.
Speaker 8 (30:11):
And you're still right there. We're tied at four. We're
tied at four.
Speaker 6 (30:16):
Like Tyrod Taylor, Man, I've always he should have been
a Bronco actually back back when there was a time
when he had not. They had an opportunity to grab him,
and and they should have grabbed Tyrod and.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
They ended up with Broncos Swiler and to do it
exactly thought.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
He was perfect for his offense. After meeting left, all.
Speaker 8 (30:35):
Right, AFC South Marcus? Who is c J. Strouds back
up with the Texans?
Speaker 7 (30:44):
Malik Willis No.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Yeah, I don't know. That's crazy.
Speaker 8 (30:48):
Seen him play?
Speaker 3 (30:49):
He went to Stanford, went to Stanford. Still don't know.
Speaker 8 (30:54):
Davis Mills.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
Davis Mills, he's been there forever. How do we forget that?
Speaker 8 (31:00):
All right?
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Andy, I'm gonna make this one fun. Okay, neither of
you are gonna get this, all right? So the Colts
who are playing right now. They started Anthony Richardson tonight.
He went two of three for twenty one yards. Now
Daniel Jones is in with four minutes to go in
the first quarter, he's one of two for eleven yards.
This is the Broncos Week two opponent. That's a win, guys,
that's a win.
Speaker 8 (31:20):
All right.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Who's their third string quarterback? And here's your hint. He
was the starting quarterback at Notre Dame last year and
starting quarterback in Notre.
Speaker 8 (31:30):
Dame last year.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
Who's behind because on their depth chart they have as
code number one's Richardson and Jones.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah it's or they got the old Yeah, they.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
Got the or for number one. Can you tell me
the starting quarterback for Notre.
Speaker 8 (31:44):
Dames this year?
Speaker 2 (31:45):
The Notre Dame starting The only Notre Dame quarterback coming
to me is Ian Brooke And I know that's not him.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
He played for Sean Payton, like Jimmy Claws. Guys, like
said Jimmy classon Sean Kaiser.
Speaker 8 (31:55):
There we go. He was a transfer from North three.
Speaker 6 (31:59):
He was a transfer for Duke Oh, I know who
you're talking about. Then he went to I know I
can see his face and I can't call his name.
I know, yeah, because he was good at Duke.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
He was really good at Do you know what, Marcus Washington?
You could.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
Ye Leonard Leonard he was. He was phenomenal at Duke.
It was actually a big deal that he transferred because
he had played so well.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
No, see an I l Era too as well. Just
go to get that notre Ba. Okay, who's up, Marcus?
Speaker 3 (32:38):
You're up?
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Jaguars back up behind Trevor Lawrence. This guy's name was
mentioned like three minutes ago.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Oh is it someone different?
Speaker 4 (32:51):
If you're thinking like C J. Bethard, it's not him.
Nicks was my call. I was gonna say Nick Mullins maybe,
but you didn't.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Didn't. No, you know what happened.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Now we got to figure out where Mac Jones went,
because they've got remember Mac Jones was there last year.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
We might have to take a commercial break before we
get to the NFC. There's your hint. That's where Mac is.
Max's over in the NFC. Now, all right, Final one
in the ANFC, Broncos Week one opponent Andy.
Speaker 8 (33:20):
Who's the Titans backup? Buying cam Ward?
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Cam Ward is there? You're right?
Speaker 8 (33:25):
You mentioned this guy when we talked about the Titans.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I barely can remember it though, because the other guy,
Mayonnai's guy got hurt.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Will Levis is hurt.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
Former Broncos backup quarterback. Go ahead, Nate likes him.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Oh, Brandon Allen, that's only half point. You gave me
too many You gave me too many inns. Brandon Allen,
you remember him. He was with the Broncos, ended up
starting against or not. Yeah, he started against Baker Mayfield
and the Browns in the actually yeah, the game. Yeah,
and he's famous because in Arkansas the fans got so
mad after a loss they burned his Chevy A.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
That's right, that's right.
Speaker 7 (34:05):
I remember this now yup that came.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
I shouldn't be laughing because it's not funny, but that's
what they're doing.
Speaker 8 (34:10):
Yeah, all right, I got Andy six to four.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
All right, we'll do a couple more when we come back.
We'll do a couple more and then we got to
wrap it up on the other side. By the way,
we do want to thank everybody that's watching us on
Twitch because it's presented.
Speaker 3 (34:22):

You've got The Krekman and Lindahl Podcast listen live every
weekday from ten am to noon on Altitude Sports Radio
ninety two five and on the Altitude Sports Radio app.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
All Right, wrapping it up here on Creikman and Lindahl
for a Thursday please to have you along. Ooh nice
tech from Chris Monard. One of my favorite people from
covering the team last year. Lejonte Wester, former buff just
caught a pass, No, it was a punt return for
eighty seven yards for tv TD. Baltimore goes up in
that game. And we also got important news and Mark
(35:16):
Springer important.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
To note this.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
We've got a finger injury to Anthony Richardson. He started
the game and was supposed to play more than he did.
Daniel Jones is already in because a finger injury after
a sack to Anthony Richardson. We'll see how serious it is.
But as Mark pointed out, that is the teams, that
is the Broncos Week two opponent, as they had out
(35:40):
to Indianapolis they may be facing Daniel Jones.
Speaker 7 (35:43):
Hey, I'll take that for the win.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Here's the thing, it's just the Colts. It's always a
weird game out there. Frankly, Look, if we're being honest,
if it wasn't for who was the running back their
big stud running back tossed the football last year, Taylor.
They were about to go up a couple of scores,
They're about to put the Broncos in a position in
and see for a while. Instead, Taylor decides he does
(36:08):
the old that's got to drive you nuts.
Speaker 7 (36:10):
Yeah, dropped the ball before you cross the end zone.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Man, Oh, I.
Speaker 7 (36:14):
Don't understand these guys.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
It's all right, though. It worked in the Broncos favor,
so we'll take it. So, but the Colts game, it's
always like Joe Flacco. I remember Joe Flacco as a Bronco, Like,
what are we doing here? As he got hurt, now
is the end of it anyway, But he just decided
to take the time to go off.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
You know. The Broncos just have.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Had some weird luck and Indy even Maning struggled there.
From what I was told, Manning hated playing there because
he loved the fans, he never really wanted to leave
Indy thought he was going to be there, and so
he didn't take any great pleasure in making their lives tough.
I think it's one of the reasons why I was
told he really wanted he was kind.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Of interested in Houston.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
I don't know that Houston was fully interested in him,
but I don't think he wanted to go to Tennessee
because I don't think he want to have to deal
with going back there.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
Quite honestly, because he did have a lot of love
for him in his heart.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
By the way, we're in the back back Backus and
Shanker Studios.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Their passion is justice. Uh, you want to give us
a couple more here.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
I know that Marcus is at his friends wondering why
he doesn't know every single backup quarterback in the league so.
Speaker 6 (37:14):
Far played defense. Come on, guys, give me a break.
And people move around a lot.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
So to get back into his talk show host suit,
let's go to suit and tie back.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
On, let's go to the NFC West, All right, Marcus
will start with you. Who is Sam Darnold's backup with
the Seahawks.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
You better get this.
Speaker 7 (37:37):
Oh I know this, Oh my god, I know who
this is.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
Talking out former Broncos quarterback.
Speaker 7 (37:48):
Oh, we just thought we just said his name.
Speaker 8 (37:52):
Uh did the buzz light Year celebration.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
Drew lock Lock, Yeah, that's yours.
Speaker 7 (37:59):
I couldn't think of his name. He went to New York.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Remember he went for a year, and now he's just
back in Seattle and he's gonna play behind Sam Darnold.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
I guess I didn't think that goes for Sam. Do
you believe in Sam? He had a good year for
the Vikings last year.
Speaker 7 (38:14):
I don't believe in Sam.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
All right, the Vikings, I do not.
Speaker 8 (38:19):
Andy. Here we go.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Who is Brock Parties back up Broncos Niners joint practice?
Speaker 7 (38:26):
Today?
Speaker 8 (38:26):
Who's backing up Brock Party?
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Who is backing up Rock Party?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
I should know this one because I feel like it's
fairly notable.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
It is.
Speaker 8 (38:35):
His name was reference in the last segment.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Yeah, I forgot already. Go ahead.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
Mac Jones, Oh, Mac Jones.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Mac Jones finally made his way out to the Niners,
the guy that remember Kyle Shanahan, like kind of initially
it was either him or Trey Lance, but he went
with Trey Lance.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
That's crazy, right now they've had both. We'll see if
I either work out for Kyle.
Speaker 8 (38:53):
We'll skip over the Rams since we.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Jimmy Garoppolo for although technically he's the starter right now,
I think Stetson Bennett is the guy after that.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Marcus who is Kyler Murray's backup with the Cardinals. It
was a tough one his first year there. I don't know,
I'll get a hint. Andy referenced the Flacco Colts game.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
Oh is it? Oh it's Jacoby Brissette's sure.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
Yeah, but there you go.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
You left New England and now he's there. Remember he
was in New England and then the Drake made thing happened,
and now he's now he's we're gonna see him next week.
Matter of fact, when the Cardinals and Broncos get together.
Speaker 8 (39:39):
Let me go ahead.
Speaker 4 (39:39):
Actually, I'm uh curious what they have on their official
depth chart here, because this should This is an easy one. Okay,
this is an extremely easy one. Okay, yep, there's no
ore situation. Marcus Washington who is Michael Pennix Junior's backup
quarterback with the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
Oh, if you don't get this, your boys are really
going to lay in. You better get this.
Speaker 6 (40:04):
Atlanta yep. And who's the starter out there, right? Michael
Pennix JUNR.
Speaker 7 (40:11):
They drafted Michael Pennix.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
He have you watched the series Quarterback?
Speaker 7 (40:19):
I haven't finished watching it.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Kirk Cousins is very mad at you right now.
Speaker 6 (40:23):
Oh, k he doesn't want to be there, right. He
was the starter, Kurt was the starter and they drafted Ah, all.
Speaker 8 (40:34):
Right, Andy. Who is Bryce Young's backup with the Panthers?
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Oh? Bryce Young?
Speaker 2 (40:40):
That's interesting because I forgot who is Bryce Young. They've
all moved around, and I don't care about the Panthers.
There's a couple of NFC teams that I'm waiting for
you to ask me because I know it, but I
don't know that one.
Speaker 8 (40:52):
We've seen him, We've seen him play with the Panthers.
It is Andy Dalton.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Oh, that's right. You forget all these guys are there?
Dalton kind of got Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 7 (41:00):
Yeahs Young.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Do you think Brice Young is back? Do you think
they've unlocked what he was?
Speaker 7 (41:06):
I think so. He's got a big upside.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
I just feel like sometimes you're just so quick to
determine yes or no.
Speaker 6 (41:13):
What do you do when you've got a veteran like
Kirk Cousins sitting behind you.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
You hope somebody trades for him. You hope somebody needs
a quarterback so bad they take that big salary off
your hands and trades for him.
Speaker 4 (41:26):
All right, Marcus, here's what we're gonna do for the
New Orleans Saints, because they have all three of their
quarterbacks in an in an or situation.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
For QB.
Speaker 4 (41:32):
One name one of those three quarterbacks on the Saints roster.
Name one of the Saints three quarterbacks.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
One of them was drafted over Shador and nobody could
believe it.
Speaker 8 (41:45):
And then a lot of people were drafted over.
Speaker 7 (41:47):
I know, I know one of the guys out there
is Spencer Rattler. And then who's the kid who they
take over Shador?
Speaker 3 (41:55):
Tyler Shuck? I mean, are you kidding me?
Speaker 7 (41:59):
Tyler?
Speaker 2 (41:59):
Shut the guy that can't throw like he's been terrible,
He can't throw passes and seven on.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Seven like he's just not accurate. Where was he out
of you remember Louisville?
Speaker 7 (42:12):
Louisville, Like of.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
All the guys, an older guy too, He's an older quarterback.
Andy who is Baker Mayfield's backup?
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay? Who is the backup there.
It's not didn't they just oh wait, they just signed
it's Teddy Bridgewater.
Speaker 4 (42:30):
Yeah, you know their depth chart is not updated.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Sign there, and he's gonna be the guy because the
old Florida dudes out.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
I think they're done with the Florida kid.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
Kyle trash track, which is who they currently have listened.
I'm gonna give you that one. I think it will
be Teddy Bridgewater.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
Well you didn't sign him for no reason, right, But
Buccaneers dot com is not updated their unofficial dut chart yet.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Trash trash that's been so far?
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Okay, Marcus Washington, who is the Chicago Bears back up
behind Kayleb Williams?
Speaker 7 (43:00):
I have no clue.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Isn't it a beigent? Tyler Pagent the arm wrestling Tyson,
the arm wrestling guy. His dad's the big arm wrestler.
You did not watch Hard Knocks last year?
Speaker 3 (43:10):
Didn't know?
Speaker 7 (43:11):
Did not?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Yea?
Speaker 3 (43:12):
His dad is like mister over the top guy. Did
you ever see that? That's what his dad does?
Speaker 2 (43:18):
And so Tyson is always you know, he's kind of
got his own little lattitude, but not the arms that
his dad has.
Speaker 6 (43:24):
Nobody pays attention to Chicago. Man, it's Chicago. It's the Bears.
They screw it up every time.
Speaker 8 (43:33):
It quick.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
Do you know who's who's in Dallas?
Speaker 8 (43:37):
I need to pull down Joe Milroe, Joe Milton.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
Milton, Milton Mill sorry Milton.
Speaker 2 (43:42):
And he's like apparently he's he's throwing some bombs, and
I'm wondering if he makes life a little more interesting
than they like for Dak Prescott because right now he's
like camp guy.
Speaker 7 (43:52):
I was just gonna ask that same give it.
Speaker 3 (43:54):
A little highlights all the time.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
Jerry's so busy trying to get everybody to worry about
Micah Parsons.
Speaker 6 (44:00):
And they're they're at a Dak. If that, if that
goes down, I think that Milton comes in. I think
he can make some noise. Where's Milrow? Where did Jalen
Milrow go? Wouldn't he just drafted over shid War two?
Speaker 8 (44:13):
Yeah, he's uh on the Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Okay, all day, behind lock, behind lock now QB three.
