Speaker 1 (00:05):
Oh thank god I made it. I am so glad
to be out of that storm for a bit. Yeah,
it's really scary out there, and the heat in my
car conveniently decided to go out on me like an

(00:26):
hour ago, so that's fun. Anyways, Can I get a
large coffee please? Oh no, that's it, unless do you
have a sauna or something I could defrost in? Just kidding? Oh,

(00:49):
you have showers here? Wow, this is a fancy truck stop. Okay,
let me see how much this coffee warmed me up.
Hot shower does not sound terrible. Is there anyone else
here or like in the showers? Oh no, yeah, it

(01:14):
must be the weather. I guess I'm the only goofball
who went out in a dress and heels and forgot
to check the weather aport. Yeah I'm cold. Yeah, I'm
hoping the snow stops soon because this is just insane. Wow,

(01:41):
this this place is really nice, Like this is a
rest stop. You guys have a fireplace, a couch and
a whole cafe area. Wow. Yeah, it's it's impressive. Oh

(02:03):
thank you for this coffee. Oh my gosh. Hm, that
is so delicious and warm going down. You know, I
swear I've never seen snow like this before. Yeah, it's insane.

(02:30):
I could not see anything more than like a foot
in front of my car. I was so scared I
was going to drive off the road and not even
know it or something. Hey, wait, you look familiar. Did
we go to high school together? Oh my gosh, yes,

(02:55):
I'm so sorry. I'm totally spacing on your name.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Right.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, oh my god. You were in marching band, right.
I don't expect you to remember me, but yeah, I
was a cheerleader. I used to bounce around while you
guys would play at halftime. Go Badgers. Oh my god,

(03:23):
those were such fun times. Didn't you win some big
marching band state championship or something. Yeah, you guys were
really good. I'm serious. It must have taken a lot
of skill. No, don't say that. It wasn't dorky. It

(03:48):
was impressive. I mean, I had to remember cheers and routines,
but playing an instrument at the same time that's talent. Plus,
you guys always looked so sharp in your uniforms. Yes,
you did, you did well. Anyways, it's nice to see

(04:14):
you again. Oh my god. You guys still some pretty
funny souvenirs. I haven't seen a naked lady pen in years,
and this shirt. I survived the worst road trip ever.

(04:37):
Oh my god, cheesy. Well, I gotta say I hope
I survived this one.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'm really not looking forward to getting back on the
road right now. But I guess I can't stay in
here all night.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
This is an emergency alert from National Weather Service. A
state of emergency has been declared due to the severe
weather conditions. All non essential travel is prohibited. Please seek
shelter immediately and stay off the roads.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Oh. Actually, can I stay in here all night? Few? Okay? Thanks,
thank you so much. Man. I'm lucky I even saw

(05:42):
this place from the highway. Your signs are so bright,
but I still could barely see lights through the snow.
I'm just so thankful to be inside somewhere with a
fireplace and heat. Somewhere with a fireplace. Of course, the

(06:14):
power is going to go out right now. Oh, I
can use the flashlight on my cell phone. Oh you
have real flashlights? That makes sense. Cool. Well, I guess
I really should turn my phone off anyways to save

(06:36):
its battery. Oh, you know, I'm going to text my mom.
I told her I was out tonight and she'll be
super worried one second. Hey, mom, don't worry. I am
safe at a rest stop with a really sweet old

(06:59):
friend my school. Gonna turn my phone off to save battery.
Love you, good night, Okay, powering down? Cool? Oh yeah,

(07:19):
the fireplace, yes, yes, yes, because it is already starting
to get cold in here. Yeah, you're right, it is
a big rest stop. That fireplace isn't gonna heat the
whole thing. Do you want to maybe sit on the

(07:45):
couch in front of it with me? I doubt you're
gonna get a lot of new customers at this point.
You may as well try to stay warm too. Oh
do you guys sell blankets? Oh awesome, okay, let me see.
Oh there's there's only one left. Well, do you want

(08:13):
to share it?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Well?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
I would totally just give it to you, but I
have to be honest. I am still pretty much frozen,
but I don't want you to freeze either, So come on,
it's not too weird. We're both former Badgers. We got

(08:38):
to stick together, right, Okay, good, All right, come on,
let's go sit on the couch. I am so thankful
for this fire I'm so thankful for this coffee, and

(09:02):
to be honest, I'm thankful I'm not here trying to
stay warm with a complete stranger. But honestly, I don't
think I've been this cold in my life. I just
can't warm up. Do you mind if I if I

(09:29):
scoop just a little closer to you. I hate to
be a space invader and stuff, but thanks. Yay, you're warm.

(09:53):
So do you really remember me? Well, I was never
like head cheerleader or anything. I feel like I just
faded into the background of the girls. Really, that's cool. Hey,

(10:17):
I was the one who recognized you first tonight. Of
course I remember you. This reminds me. Oh my god.
Do you remember that time during the homecoming game when
it started pouring rain and we all had to run
for cover.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Well, I specifically remember you were under the refreshment's table
trying to stay dry, but when you saw me looking
for something to hide under, you got up, stood in
the rain and demanded that I take your spot under
the table so I had some shelter from the storm. Yeah. Well,

(11:04):
I guess our uniforms were mostly white, so that was
very thoughtful of you to save me from that embarrassment.
You didn't have to do that. You let yourself get
soaked just to help a random classmate stay dry.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
That was.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Really I wasn't just a random classmate? What do you mean?
I think we spoke probably three times in all of
high school? Maybe five? Oh you know, we spoke exactly

(11:57):
five times. Oh how do you remember? Oh? So you
really do remember me. I didn't realize. Well, it's it's

(12:28):
pretty crazy, huh. All these years later and here you
are sheltering me from a storm again. Well, I guess

(12:49):
I should give you a proper thank you. Well you
are building quite the history of saving me. Thank you.

(13:09):
That didn't feel quite like enough, So maybe a thank
you hug? Can I give you one? Okay? Good m

(13:33):
You're so warm, you are so nice and warm. Sorry,
I just I can't let you go just yet. This
is the closest I've been to thawing out since I've

(13:56):
gotten in here. Do you mind if I huggle you
for a little while. Well, a huggle is kind of
like a snuggle, but it's a huggle. Yeah, it's a

(14:21):
hug plus a snuggle. You're just so warm.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
There you go, saving me once again, this time with
your own body heat. What would you say to a

(14:54):
thank you kiss, Well, I think it's well earned. If
I'm being honest, You're kind of my hero tonight.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
You are.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Hey look at me. Hey, this is Lacy. Thank you

(15:46):
so much for listening. I really really appreciate it. And
a big thank you to a voice that I think
a lot of you recognized, miss Zena Alexander for being
our emergency broadcaster letting us know that we are to
be stuck in the in the drug stop with each other.

(16:12):
So thank you so much, Sena. Zena is absolutely amazing.
If you have not already subscribed to her channel, make
sure you do. I linked it below. Her channel is
called Messed Up Stories and she is an amazing, amazing
VA and streamer, so make sure you follow her on
Twitch as well and just overall amazing person. So she

(16:37):
is a fellow member of the Spice Rack Girls and
we're a kang of vas that we've become friends through
doing this and so much talent. And one exciting thing
that Zena is working on is a movie. I'm so excited.

(16:58):
I'm so excited, and she has asked us Spice Rack
Girls and some of our other VIA friends to be
in it. So if you all know Clover says Hi
and Starlit Audios and Dream Audio and Methods Switch Audio.
We are all going to be in the film, along

(17:20):
with Wolf, ce Row, Amazing Va and our incredible friend Bolt.
So we are so excited, like beyond, beyond beyond, So
keep your eyes peeled for that in probably the coming months,
maybe like summertime, but we're working on it right now.

(17:41):
And so Zena, thank you so much for lending your
voice to this. As scary as an emergency alert can be,
if it's coming from Zena's voice, the news is a
little easier to take, I think, And so yeah, so
a speaker of the movie, I want to just say

(18:03):
a big thank you to all of you all who
watched me over on Twitch. That's where I like stream
my like live streams for music. You all have helped
me fund now two songs, and the first one is
going to be actually it was written for Zena's movie,
so I'm so excited. So I'm going to make my

(18:25):
own music video for it and everything like that, but
it is going to be for the movie, So I'm
so excited. And the second song you guys funded for
me last week, I've already started work on it. I'm
so excited. It's actually a song sung by the cheerleader

(18:46):
and the waitress, so they're kind of like fighting with
each other. I know, it's like crazy, So yeah, that's
it's like a almost like an argument that they're having
and it's a lot of fun. It's called Defense. And
actually I invited the Spice Rack girls to sing on
it with me because there's actually a whole like cheer

(19:07):
section where the cheerleaders are cheering, and so I invited
them to be cheerleaders with me on the song. So
I hope you like it and should hopefully be out
within like I don't know, one or two months, however
long it takes to get everything recorded and a music
video made and all that stuff. So thank you so

(19:29):
much all of you for being so supportive with that,
and a big thank you to everyone in Patreon. Oh
my gosh, you guys have no idea how thankful I
am for you. No idea. You guys keep me in
a home, you guys keep food in my belly, gas
in my car, like you don't even understand. I am

(19:50):
so beyond thankful for you. And I've been having a
lot of fun the last couple of weeks, I started
a new perk that lets me get to know you
all a little bit better. This is for I want
to say, it's a Dirty Chi. Yeah, Dirty Chi and
above members. I've been doing voice messages with through through Discord,

(20:16):
so you guys like can tell me a little bit
about what's going on in your week, and I can
send you little personalized messages, you know, like encouraging you
of whatever you have going on, or like you know,
sharing my own you know, stories and experiences with whatever
you have going on. And it's been really fun. It's
been really fun. Oh yeah. The other option is to

(20:37):
have is to have the messages come from a flirty
girlfriend instead of from me, so there it's still personalized.
So that's just been really like a fun thing for me,
Like I feel like I'm getting to know you all
a little bit better. So thanks for everyone who's participated
in that. So yeah, that's been really really neat and

(21:00):
so Okay, so this is coming out Friday. It is
Friday when I'm recording this actually about to put it out,
and Sunday I'll be live on Twitch if you want
to hang out again. On Thursday, We've moved we've moved
to the Thursday stream to Twitch. Well, you all kind
of gave me the okay on that because I can't

(21:20):
sing cover songs that are copyrighted on YouTube, but I'm
allowed to on Twitch. Like I can't play recorded, copyright
rited music on Twitch, but I can sing covers and
that's totally allowed. So that's That's the biggest part of
my stream is is I love singing and playing guitar

(21:42):
and stuff. So so we decided, we all collectively, all
the stud muffins decided, you know that, that it would
be okay if I moved everything to Twitch. So I'll
go live on YouTube, like sporadically, like if I'm just
doing like a sleepy stream or like, uh, you know,
like for my two year anniversaries coming up next month,

(22:05):
Oh my gosh, so I'll probably do like and ask
me anything a two year birthday party on YouTube, you know,
because it's a YouTube anniversary, you know what I mean.
So I'll still go live sometimes on YouTube, but the
bulk of everything is moving over to Twitch. So yeah,
I think I think it'll be fun. We got new

(22:25):
emotes this past week and we play all kinds of
puzzles and We're just so silly over there. We're just
like a big old silly stud muffin cruise. So if
you want to join us, it's totally free. You don't
even have to sign up for it. You can literally
click the link to watch. But if you want to
like chat and stuff, then you can join and it's

(22:47):
but again, it's totally free and super easy. So yeah,
that's Sundays and Thursdays and what else is going on?
Oh yeah, all my audios are on the podcasting and
they're I think they're still being released daily. I have
to check. I like scheduled to punch out, but I'm

(23:07):
not sure if they run out. But but yeah, there's
tons of audios over there, and it's actually, in my opinion,
a little bit better of a listening experience. If you
listen on like you know, Apple podcasts, Spotify or Spreaker
is a really good one. Spreaker, you can you can
skip the ads right away, like you don't have to

(23:27):
wait the five seconds. You can just like automatically skip ads,
and then oh you can download them to your device too.
That's the other thing you can't really do with YouTube,
I think, unless you have like a paid membership with YouTube.
So like, if you're going on a flight or like
I don't know, faery or whatever, a train ride through
you know, like somewhere you won't have like, you know,

(23:50):
Wi Fi service, you can download the audios to your
device and still be able to listen if you want to.
So anyways, this uh, sharing the housekeeping stuff. And yeah,
so thank you guys so much. Again.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
I'm going to give you the biggest squeeze, a little huggle,
a little huggle. All right, Well, thanks again and I
love you all so much. I'll talk to you so okay.
