And today we're gonna be starting anew series on angels. You know,
what are they? What roles dothey play in our lives? Why
are there two factions of angels outthere? What happened to cause it?

And all of this This is justa piggyback on our last series we did
of What's in the Sky. We'vedealt with UFOs and aliens and so forth.
But before we begin, why don'twe all say hello to the LHB

a lot about angels and the propercontext of what they actually are, because
I know in Christianity there's a lotof misunderstandings about angels and their roles.

this is one of the most misunderstoodI don't know topic in the Bible.
It's about angels, and there's somuch out there in ninety nine point nine
percent of it. It's not biblical. Hey man, it's true. If

So angels, right, So todaywe want as an intro, we
want to go over some of thedifferent types of angels out there, because

there's a mindset that you know,there's only one class of angels and they,
you know, all look the sameand all of this, but it's
not all right. So today wewant to start with the different types of
angels. Now, the first batchof angels I want to dig into are
the watchers. Now you're like,what are the watchers, Well, these

are the ones that record right humanhistory. They also relate messages from God
to man kind of thing, andyou find them in Daniel, chapter four,
verse thirteen. It says this Isaw in the visions of my head
upon my bed, and behold awatcher, and the Holy One came down
from heaven. And you go toverse seventeen of the same chapter it says,

this matter is by the decree ofthe watchers. So now we have
plural watchers, right, and thedemand by the word of the Holy Ones,
to the intent that the living mayknow that the Most High ruleth in
the kingdom of men, and givethit to whomsoever he will, and setteth

it up over it the basis ofmen. Now again it's just talking about
the watchers performing and relaying to manGod's intentions and so forth. So,
Sammy, what do you think aboutthe watchers, Like, are they still
watching us today? I mean,if they were watching human beings and recording

or history down back then, whywould they have stopped. We're still here,
So they're still watching and they're stillwriting things down. That's right,
that's right. And for the lost. I'll tell you what you know.
People may say, oh, butGod knows everything, Why why would he
have these angels write anything down.He's all knowing, absolutely, But God

is also just. And if younotice that in the Book of Revelation of
the Great White Throne Judgment, thebooks will be open. How don't you
think what those watchers wrote down wouldbe in those very books for our benefit?
Correct? And you're you're right,it's all for us. It has
nothing to do with God. Godknows everything. I mean, he created

everything. He not only sees thefuture, he has created the future where
we're still in the present. Soall of this that it's written down is
for our benefit. And if weread and and and we go to the
word and knowing that this is justa book specifically written for us, we

know that it's for our benefit.It's uh, it's for us to know.
And yes, God doesn't need angels, okay, but he has angels.
And um, if you have aproblem with that or a question,
well, um, one day inhis presence you may ask him, Yes,
you won't. You won't win thatargument. Uh. You know,

Um, angels are you know,part of God's creation and they're created for
a purpose, right, And it'slike you said, Louis, like you
know God knows, uh, youknow everything. So it's like when you
go back to the Garden of Edenwhen you know God is looking for Adam
and saying, Adam, where areyou? You don't think God knew where
he was? Of course he did. And then he says, who hath

told you you were naked? Don'tyou think he knew? Who told?
It was all power benefit to seethe human response to God. Instead of
confessing to the Lord, he blamedhis wife, and the wife blamed the
surfing and so forth and so onand and basically Adam blamed God because he
said the woman gave me. Sohe was the first calvinistum. But but

yeah, you know, the nextgroup, the next group, though,
I mean, it's not really agroup. Okay, it's a singular entity
here, and it's called the Archangel. Now. The reason I say it's
only a same angular being that's calledthe archangel is because in June one,
verse nine, it says this,Yet Michael the Archangel, not one of

the archangels, but the archangel.When contending with the devil, he disputed
about the body of Moses drest notbring against him a railing accusation, but
said the Lord rebuked thee. Now, brother Louis, we come from a
Catholic background. You always see thearchangel Michael and these paintings with the chicken
wings on and the Roman dressed theRoman skirt, you know, standing on

the head of a dark skinned devilmost of the time ring with bating.
Okay, what do you think aboutthat? Man? And most of the
Catholic paintings of Michael Laurini angels arevery feminine to begin with. And this
is an archangel, a warrior angel. And you know, like we talked

about this, Chris, you andI, it's it's at the moment,
the highest ranking angel that we havein heaven. And it tells you the
archangel. It doesn't mention archangels inany other part of the Bible, but
specifically Michael um and Michael is theone that contends with the with the with
Satan later on, and you knowat the end times and revelations about him,

and Michael is the defender of Israel. So if you have a defender,
this is the one angel you want. That's right, you know,
Uh, Michael is no joke.In the scriptures. When you see you
know what he's about. He he'snot like a little chubby cherub, you
know, with a little harp anda bow and arrow like Cupid. He's

(07:45):
a terrifying being, isn't he.I mean he Yeah, he is a
warrior. He in Revelation generates aboutthe great bottle on heaven between Michael and
Satan, and he costs him downto earth and he can no longer go
to been two accuses before the fatherum and yeah, he fought with the

(08:05):
devil Overmost's body. He protects Israel. He is a warrior. He does
not look how the Catholic Church depictshim or as a chubby, little churm
right right, I mean he is. If we were to see Michael in
his true form today, we wouldprobably either faint or die. Our hearts
will probably just give out because yep, he's not. These are not a

(08:26):
little cute little you know, littlechubby things flying around our bedroom. And
he hand says, you know,they used to visit him every night.
That's terrifying. I don't want littlechubby things flying around in my bedroom.
Stop beating that, you know,all right? The next class of angels

(08:46):
are called the chief princes. Nowthis is plural, there's more than one
chief prince, right, because itsays in Daniel Chapter ten, verse thirteen,
But the prince of the King,him of Persia, this was a
fallen angel, by the way,withstood me. This is Gabriel talking.
Okay, one and twenty days ortwenty one days. But lo, Michael,

one of the chief princes, cameto help me, and I remained
there with the kings of Persia.So although Michael is the archangel, he
is only one of many chief princes, right, Brother Louis, Yes,
it is. And it's beautiful theway Daniel actually explains a lot about angels
Um. And later on, youknow, he talks about Gabriel. Gabriel

(09:33):
is a messenger in Joy King.But as Gabriel is finishing speaking to Daniel,
he tells them he's got to goback up and continue the fight because
they're still fighting. And this isyou know, when people say I wanted
to see him too the spiritual world, they have no idea what they're talking
about. That we don't want tosee the spiritual world. It's it's it's

not what we would tell pretty tight. Uh. And and this is the
reason why God keeps it from us. Um later on, you know,
our glorified body will be able tosee everything, but we'll be able to
handle everything. So we know there'sa war out there between the falling angels
and those who chose to remain atGod's side, right right? You know?

And uh, Sammy know a lotof people they believe that angels are
no longer active in the Christians lifebecause we have the Spirit and if we
have the Holy Spirit, we don'tneed angels. But doesn't that go back
to God being all powerful? Whydid he create angels? Then you know
he doesn't need angels? Right?Yeah, that is you know, angels

have a purpose and they are theyou know, the watchers over the airs
of salvation. Okay, it saysthat in Hebrews. That's a New Testament.
So, uh, don't you thinkthat maybe one day in the future,
we're gonna we're gonna be able torealize how many times angels actually intervened
in our lives here on earth.Now I think we will. I think,

well, when we get to heavenor the rapture happens, we'll be
like, oh, like, youknow, God send his angels to protect
me so many times and I wastotally clueless, just going about my day.
Um. We also know that angelsare sent to protect children in particular,
um, along with Christians. Soum, because God, you know

(11:24):
duds like let the little children comeup, come up, I can't speak,
come unto me and um. Andyou know Jesus is like, if
anyone makes a little one not believein me, it would better be better
if a milestone was put around hisneck. So children and Christians are the

(11:45):
most and you know they're very importantto the Lord, and He's gonna send
his angels to protect us. That'sright. It says that the faces of
the angels are always before the Lordwhen speaking of little babies and children,
because angels are given to the heirsof salvation, so little children and that,

(12:07):
by the way, that tells youlittle children do not go to hell
because he got the same protection asthe heirs of salvation, you know.
So that's very important. Now we'regonna talk about a powerful group of angels
here, and those are the Seraphimsor the burning ones. Okay, and

(12:28):
these angels they have six wings.They stand in the presence of the Lord.
They are different class all by themselves. And it says in Isaiah six,
verse two, above it stood theseraphims. Each one had six wings.
With two he covered his face,and with two he covered his feet,

(12:50):
and with two heated fly. Nowhere's the thing, you know,
we had discuss discussion off camera.A lot of people say, you know,
angels have these chicken wings, right, or angels don't have wings at
all, and we we you know, what what we're talking about is we
let the scriptures say what it means. The scripture I just read said they

(13:13):
had six wings. They didn't saysix chicken wings or eagle wings or feathery
wings. Six wings, so theseare wings that are not native to this
world. It's a heavenly type setof wings they have. And two with
two of those wings, the Seraphimwere flying, So these are literal wings

(13:35):
that they used to And um,brother Lewis is you know you and I
talk about this all the time inmovies. We see this. Matter of
fact, Sammy brought up angels inthe outfield and all of this isn't it
all the time when you see themon the Hollywood screen. They have chicken
wings, right? Yeah, foran angel to have feathery wings means that

God created a a mix of animalsand and spiritual being. This is a
spiritual being. This is a powerfulum creation of God. And to actually
put you know, bird feathers onhim, um, it's it just doesn't
make sense. Uh. And andthis is what you see on TV like

(14:20):
you mentioned and mentioned angels in theoutfield, every time you see an angel.
Um. There was a movie Gabrielwhere this child twelve year old played
Gabriel and then he sends it onthe altar of a congregation and and you
know, uh, to let peopleknow who he is, there comes out
the wings. And and I heara lot of Christians talk about that movie

(14:43):
because it's very beautiful movie, verysentimental. And this is what happens when
you let your emotions dictate what you'rethinking. Opposite of what the Word of
God said. There's no chicken wingslike you said, there's no and them
wings. It says wings. Wingscould be I mean airplanes have wings?

(15:05):
And what are they made of?Metal? So thick it for what the
words is they had wings? Amen? I mean that that that keeps it
simple, it doesn't it like itlifts the burden of trying to you know,
figure everything out on your own.Just no. God says what he
means, means what he says,all right, So Sammy, um,
the next group are princes, principalities, powers, and rulers. And in

(15:31):
Daniel chapter ten, verse twenty one, and then also in Daniel chapter twelve,
and in Ephesians it says, butI will show thee that which is
noted in the scripture of truth.And there is none that hold us with
me in these things. But Michael, your prince, Okay, So he
Michael is one of these powers.He's one of these uhalities, right,

(15:52):
because they're noticing the verse I readwith Daniel, it says the prince of
Persia came to fight Gabriel, okay, who was a prince of Heaven.
So do you think that we havethese principalities and these powers fighting as we
are speaking right now? Yeah?I think they're probably fighting all the time

(16:15):
because there's always spiritual warfare going onbehind the teams. They're constantly, you
know, fighting demons that are tryingto probably have bad things happen, or
make things happen when they aren't supposedto yet. So it's constant spiritual warfare
all the time, right, Andwe're talking real spiritual warfare, not this
made up word of faith charismatic stuff. Right, Yeah, casting out demons

(16:41):
out of furniture. We're not talkingabout that, you know, Brother Lewis
and Daniel twelve speaking on princes andpowers and all of that. It says
this, and this is to yourpoint, by the way, when you
said that Michael guards Israel, itsays, and at that time shall Michael
stand up the great Prince again,Prince, he's one of the princes which

(17:03):
standeth for the children of thy people. Now he's talking to Daniel. Daniel
was a Jews, so we knowwho thy people is, the Jews.
And there shall be a time oftrouble. This is what Sam mentioned,
the great tribulation, okay, Andthis is matching up Daniel twelve actually matches
up with Revelation twelve. Twelve warin Heaven, okay, such as never

(17:25):
was since there was a nation evento that same time, And at that
time by people shall be delivered everyonethat shall be found written in the book
the Book of Life that brother Lewis. That couldn't be more clear. High
it doesn't Daniel twelve match Revelation twelvewhere Michael cast Satan out of the first

(17:45):
and second heavens and now he's grounded. And it goes back to when Jesus
says, you know, and Isolve Satan, you know, all right,
like Blaton, It's like he waskicked out of heaven. Of course
we know, and by reading theBook of Job that he does go before
the Father, before God. Andto accuse us, you know of everything.

(18:07):
Um, we we have to readand like you said, you know,
like Revelation twelve and we need toread Daniel because they go hand in
hand and it tells you, itgives you so much information. Um.
And then that you know, ittalks about the delivery right here, this
is just one verse. It tellsyou that in the end times, the

(18:30):
God is going to deliver his people, and Michael is going to be there.
And those who are written in theBook of Life. That's another thing
that Christians misunderstand. Everyone is writtenin the Book of Life until they are
written out because they do not obeyGod. So they will be there.
And all the Jews that are nowJews that will become saints are going to

(18:53):
have their names written in the Bookof Life. And when you say you're
talking about people that don't obey God. You talk talking about those who are
lost. You're not talking about Christmaswho they didn't. They fail to obey,
so now they lost their salvation.There's a big difference to clarify that,
because you're talking about every being toever exist will be written in the

(19:15):
Book of Life. They are there, you know, and they only get
removed if they reject the Gospel ordie without Christ. That's when they are
removed. Anybody else that is saved, they're solidified in revelation through Tense says
he will not blot out our namesthe Book of Life. So we just
want to clarify that when when Lewisis talking about, you know, those

people obey, because you know you'regonna have people say, oh, well
you're talking about works here, youknow. Yeah, all right, so
Sammy, right, So the Angelof the Lord. There's a few debates
here. Some say the Angel ofthe Lord is a pre incarnate Jesus Christ,
while others say, no, thisis a special angel that is a

(19:59):
personal tended to Jesus Christ. That'swhy he's called the Angel of the Lord.
Right now, let me see ifI could read it here Okay,
here we go. In Psalm thirtyfour or seven, it says this,
the Angel of the Lord encampeth roundabout them that fear him, and delivereth
them. So this Angel of theLord is active in every believer's life,

(20:26):
don't you think? Yeah? Um, the Angel of the Lord is again,
like Psalm says, and camps aroundbelievers and protects us and delivers us.
Um, he's still active today.Um, So it wouldn't it be.
Why would Jesus still be if itwas Jesus, Why would it still
be called the Angel of the Lordright right? Well that because they'll say,

(20:48):
oh, well, you know,Jesus is an angel, he's a
messenger. No know, we're talkingabout servants created for purpose. When it
says angels, these angelic messengers.I'm with you. I believe that the
Angel of the Lord is a personalangel to the Lord Jesus Christ. Like

(21:10):
it's a high ranking angel of somesort. We don't know. We don't
know if it's a seraphim, acherubim. We don't know, because it
doesn't really tell us. This saysangel of the Lord. So he's in
a specific class all by himself.Now, you know, Brother Louis before
we go into the fallen angels.An Ephesians six twelve says this, And

(21:30):
you know, you and I andevery Christian I know has has dealt with
this. As for we wrestle notagainst flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers ofthe darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness and high places. Thisis where the real warfare is. And
a lot of this time when itsays we're not wrestling against flesh and blood,

(21:52):
obviously we were wrestling against spiritual beings, right. Yeah. And you
know you go to uh the armorof God, and it tells you,
but you put on the helmet ofsalvation because you are constant. Christians are
constantly attacked um by this and andand the Word is our only protection.

(22:14):
Uh. And when I say theword, I mean Jesus, and I
mean what it's written down by byGod. So we have a it's the
flesh versus spirit. Paul talks aboutthis um and and when it says heavenly
places, um, I mean whenit says the rulers of the darkness of
this world is not talking about thehell. It's talking about this world.

(22:37):
It's another understanding that they think thatSatan is sitting on the throne of God
of hell, which hell is.Um. Actually God is in control of
health. Uh not. So it'swe know that there's you know, spiritual
weakness, weakness. Okay, Sothis these are people whose job or demons
whose job it is to go aroundand try to get us to turn away

(23:00):
from God. H that's right.And you know, um, you know,
we should just leave the Fallen Angelssection until next week because I you
know, I want you know,I just wanted to elaborate here on what
Lewis is saying here. Um.You know, Sammy, if you've been
a Christian for any length of time, you've experienced attacks, fiery darts,

(23:23):
you yourself, have you know,been attacked with your eternal security. That's
not that's that's what they do.They attack us mentally. They try to
get us upset, They try toget us to step out in the flesh
and so forth, and yeah,and and and try to react in our
own power. Um, you've experiencedstuff like that, haven't you. I

(23:44):
have? Um, I mean,I didn't experience spiritual war for until I
became a Christian. I was likewhat's going on? Um, But yeah,
they try to. I mean whatthey try to do is they get
your eyes off Jesus. They tryto scare you, they try to confuse
you, they try to panicky,which none of those things are of the

(24:06):
Lord, right, God is agod of peace and understanding. And they
want to basically, they want toshipwreck you in the faith. Essentially,
they want you to become ineffective sothat you won't You're still a Christian because
no one can take away your salvation, but you're not an effective Christian.
You're not working for the Lord,or you're not living for the Lord.

(24:27):
Right. He's basically with those attacks. If you succumb to those attacks,
he's he has removed you from theboard the board. Yeah, he has
taken out of the war, takenyou out of the game. He has
benched you. You're still part ofthe team, but you're just benched.
You can't do anything until you actuallyyou know, and and brothers, you

(24:48):
know, when people wrestle against withthese thoughts of you know, I could
lose my salvation or I could whatif God has forsaken me, what if
I've sinned too much? Which,by the way, we've all thought these
things at one point. It's it'swhen we get our eyes off of Jesus
for that time being, you know, uh, you know, like Lewis
always says, man, he's like, you know, when you're sitting you're

(25:10):
not thinking about God. And he'sright, he's right, right, So
he well, you know, wehave a passage in the Bible and New
Testament where um, they were onthe other side of the Galilee Sea and
and Jesus all looked to go ahead, and you know, the apostle disciples
went first, and um Jesus stayedbehind. Then the big storm came up,

(25:36):
and uh, Jesus appeared. Theythought he was a ghost, but
you know again he told him thatit was him. And and Peter stepped
out of the boat and walked onwater while his eyes were on Jesus.
But then the world tells us thathe started to look around. And when
he started to look around and theproblem in the world, he started to
sink. Uh. And and Jesussays, know, you have little faith,

(26:00):
um, and this is the wedo see the problems, okay,
uh we and we don't Jesus.Uh, it's it's um, it's a
him. It's him in nature.We all do it, you know.
I mean that's like I had todeal with problems with my car, and
I was saying, you know what, what else can go wrong? You
know? And because my eyes offJesus, and I started thinking about me.

(26:25):
Because when you there's another thing.When you take your eyes of the
Lord uh, you put him secondand you put yourself first. Because when
you put your problems first, you'reputting yourself first. So you take your
eyes of the Lord. H thingswalked out, thank the Lord um.
But that's what we do. Sometimeswe do take our eyes off of him
when we sin Okay, we're notabout him at all. We're thinking again

(26:49):
about ourselves. H. What itis that what I can do for myself?
Right? And also you know,speaking of these you know angels and
the angels and stuff, the demonicangels, they want us to fear,
and then we're not talking about godlyfear. We're talking about ungodly fear that

(27:10):
it paralyzes you. You know,they'll they'll give you what if questions,
That's one of their favorite. Youknow. It's like what what what Satan
said to eve yea hath God said? Did not really say that Eve,
you know, and then Eve startsto doubt, and the next thing you
know, we're here, you know, dying to the day. But Um,
when we fear, we are callingGod a liar. You know,

(27:37):
when the Bible says be anxious fornothing, and we get anxious, it's
because we don't believe God's word.He said not to fear. He's with
us. He'll never leave us norforsake us. And if we fear,
we're saying, I know you saidthat, Lord, but I don't believe
him. And that's why. That'show we have to think, because that
helps us not to do it.Yeah, we don't walk by sight,

(28:00):
we walk by faith. And yeah, okay, like Lewis says, the
car broke down, that's if yousee it. The car's broken down,
that's by sight. But he hasfaith somehow, some way, it's gonna
get fixed. The Lord will takecare of it. That's not his problem.
That's not the Lewis's problem. Letthe Lord deal with it. He
can deal with it. And Um, a lot of times these fallen angels

(28:22):
want us to fear the Lord becauseit gets us out of that, It
gets us out of the uh,the loop with God and Sammy again,
I have experienced that. You haveexperienced that, Lewis has, every single
Christian has experienced that. And thethe news is it means you are saved

(28:47):
if you're getting attacked by the enemy, it's not because you're on his team.
Yeah, by by them saying like, you know, oh are you
are you really saved? Or youknow, what if this or what if
that there? When you actually canyou know, stop looking at the lives
then think about it. You're like, why would I if this, like

(29:08):
if this was the truth, wouldit bother me? Right? Right?
Like, no, it bothers mebecause it's not the truth. Right And
by the way, when you know, we were in the world and we
were sinning, didn't bother us.Nope, it didn't bother us. We
didn't say, oh man, Ishouldn't have done that. No, we

(29:29):
get what we wanted. But wewere really trying to avoid was getting caught.
That's what we were fearful of gettingcaught. Okay. But now,
as a Christian, when you sin, and you will sin as a Christian,
Okay, Um, you feel convicted, you feel horrible the thing you've
done. I don't care how smallor how large. The sin is you.

(29:49):
That conviction goes into your soul andyou can't swing, you toss and
turn until you confess it to theFather. I think that's what Miraculously it's
calm again because he has taken itbefore the Father and confess your faults before
him. But okay, here's thebest part of the program, the gospel,

(30:10):
Brother Lewis. There are people watching, they're thinking about it. What
must they do to be saved?Go for it? Well, you know
all the problems in the world thatwe have, all the evil down here
in South Florida, we know thatthe floods have you know, Mother Nature.
And they always say the same thing, why doesn't God do anything?
Well, that's because he's already doneit. He's done it all, okay.

(30:34):
And one other things that he hasdone is because we are sinners and
we are falling short of His glory, he has provided a way for us
to spend eternity with him. SoGod came down in the form of a
man, which is Jesus Christ,and took on all our sin. He
became sin for us to pay forall those things that we have committed,

(30:56):
and we'll commit okay. So whateversin I'm going to commit later on today
or tomorrow or the next that sinhas been paid for. Okay, the
sense of the last person that isgoing to be born on this planet has
already been paid for as long ashe puts his faith in Jesus. And
it doesn't take a lot. It'sjust humble yourself. Understand that you're saying

(31:21):
her, and you need a savior, and that savors Jesus Christ, and
you put your faith and you trustin him. Hey, man, I
just got one question. Whose mothernature? Broo? Yeah, mother Nature?
No? No, no, donin homestead? Yeah, okay,
is he the wife of father Time? Yeah? Yeah, but he's really

(31:45):
much older than she is. Yeah. See, I tell people I don't
know. I don't even use aterm mother nature. I don't know.
I never met her, and she'salways angry because you know, you know,
you never say mother nature when it'slike a nice sunny day. Yeah,
yeah, you never. She onlyshows up. Well, she's also

(32:07):
cousins with the evil traffic queen thatcauses rush hour traffic every single day.
So yes, anyway, Sammy,go for it. So what must a
person do to be saved? Theyneed to realize that they're sinners and that
their sin keeps them from God.We have to be perfect to get to

(32:27):
heaven, and we are not Christcame, he died, was buried in
