Ci sono favole che si raccontano per far addormentare. E poi ci sono quelle che non si raccontano affatto. Perché fanno troppo male. Perché nessuno ha mai chiesto di ascoltarle. O perché non c’era più tempo. In questo piccolo spazio — fatto di voce, silenzi e memoria — io le raccolgo. Sono le favole che non racconterò. Le dedico a voi, chissà, nipoti che non vedrò mai, ma che ho già amato con la fantasia. A voi affido questi racconti, come si affida un segreto al vento. E se un giorno qualcuno vi parlerà di me, vi prego, ricordate così: che avevo ancora storie da donare, e un cuore troppo grande per restare in silenzio. Mi chiamo Giulio Antonello.
