snowing like crazy that night. And Trish was gonna come
and watch our oldest and she wasn't able to show
up because of Renee's sister. And I didn't tell Trisha
what was going on. Probably hindsight probably should have gave
her the insight on what I was trying to do.
So here we're snowed in at our apartment there in Waukesha,

and I'm like, I got this ring. I wanted to
do it, and I was. My plan was to propose
on my birthday so I could easily remember. And also
also it was the end of the Mayan calendar, so
like you know, the world was supposed to end.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
I'm like, this is it?

I don't have to make a payment on this deal.
But I still proposed to her. We had this beautiful ending,
so beautiful, and stuck at the house, I ended up
going out in the snow writing will you marry me?
Had her come outside, and she looked at the snow,
saw it, and then closed the door on me. Oh no,

because she I didn't pull the ring out right away,
so she needed to see the ring. So then she
opened the door once she saw the ring because she
thought I was messing with her, so that was our
great story. And then I think we ended up having
some Arby's for a celebration.

because she didn't think because we went up there before,
