thing you want to say about Memorial you go ahead
wringles on them. Well, I just think that thank everybody
you've had. I have two brothers and in the service.
(02:06):
I mean, of course they're heroes, but the people that sacrifice,
so we can even do stuff like this, but we
do this stuff year round, not just one particular day.
But we just want to thank all those families do
sacrifice and have loved ones of the falling. We appreciate
(02:27):
our condos and rest and preach to all those heroes.
And it's just one of the because this is really
the beginning of summer. But when you think about all
the people who had to give up an ultimate sacrifice
so we could do this is pretty amazing and we
appreciate that and we will always keep them in our
(02:50):
hearts so we can do stuff like this. Because if
you don't have some barbecue today, I must have at
my house. Now, I'll say this, girl, I've never had
brisket until I got to Florida State. I didn't know
what it was. I had no idea what it was.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I just.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
The beef brisket.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I like the fat part and they got a little
piece of fat right across the top and then the
meat and then you can put your rub on it
if you want. But I've never even heard of it.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
He got to Florida State.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
So I got to Florida State. I think in my
junior year, you finally had brisket. Yes, I never knew
what it was. I mean, now I love it. That's
my go too. Yeah, I'll get it from Heavily Barbecue.
My guy Jason tender as a mother's love. So what's
your must have?

We are loaded today the first time a long time.
I mean, we even got kids. We won't talk about
the kids. They put them off in the back, but
we want Yeah, we put them off in the back.
We are loaded here. It's truly a family affair. It's
truly family affairs.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
But this could go bad. No one person is really jealous.
Speaker 1 (04:32):

the brisket. I'm gonna get back to it.
Speaker 2 (04:37):

knows that or not.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
You know, my hair person. You got like eight women
in your house old six daughters. Yeah, well they got
eight of them, so that's you won't talk about your
hair real quick, or you want to do that a
little different. Yeah, well both of y'all. Look, yeah, did
you do yourself?
Speaker 3 (14:09):

Who did it?
Speaker 8 (14:43):
My hair beautician, Stacey, she's amazing.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Don't talk about don't talk about how.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Much it.
Speaker 8 (14:53):
Was enough, he doesn't. We don't need We don't need
to talk.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
About that either, just like your father in law.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
I don't even know how much that round of golf call.
We don't need to know how much this hair costs.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
So you don't know. He knows sometimes good not to know.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Yeah, oh yeah, you know, you know.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
I asked my wife. I said, you look amazing.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yeah, what it calls? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:19):
What it calls because you got thirty eight before you
see it on the credit card, because her plays don't take.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Cash her place w t F you mean her place?
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Well she get her hair done.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you don't take cash.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
That's crazy.
Speaker 8 (15:37):
But I didn't even get amazing. I didn't even get
a comment about my hair.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
What you didn't not one?
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, well he didn't see it in this lost his point.
It's sake, it's the same person. Hold up, you just
say nothing, Just say no and get out of it.
Just you notice the difference, like something's different, role playing
the other personality.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
He claims that when my hair is straight, I have
a different personality.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
I know, you know, you know, you know.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Should we delve in this a little bit dale into it?
Should we delve in this? Don't this guy a little
bit different?
Speaker 4 (16:17):
Instantly?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Attitude? Jake?
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Can you tell me the personality switch between? Yeah, personality,
let's deal in there.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
You're in a safe space.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Yeah, you're safe space. You can bleed, yeah, save me
bleink like three times, blink three times? Yeah, give you
give me a difference?
Speaker 5 (16:47):
Yeah, I just you know, is a little more to
the point.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
When she's got the straight hair, Oh really, okay, yeah,
we ain't messing around anymore.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Okay. Then and then when it's when.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
It's yeah, there's a little more lee way can I.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Okay, now, does she do this any particular time of
year at the same time?
Speaker 8 (17:14):
Spring time?
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Springtime, so springtime she gets a little bit more.
Speaker 7 (17:19):
Yeah, we're gonna get this figured out.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Because that goes spring goes in the summer, right, the
spring gold in the summer might got direct Yeah, yeah, yeah,
so all summer long she's well, this only lasts for
a little while, okay, and then you figured it out.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
But there's a there's a little like week span here,
things get a lot more yeah, to the point.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Okay, m hm, did you figured that out yet?
Speaker 2 (17:46):
No?
Speaker 8 (17:46):
No?
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Oh you oh you know about this too? Yeah, I'm not.
Speaker 8 (18:03):
That's sary.
Speaker 6 (18:08):
The absolute best is like when like the first time
that she straighten her hair. Everybody's been so used to
her just curly hair all the time. Rab my buddy's
wedding and.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
She decides to straight her straighten her hair.
Speaker 6 (18:19):
My other good friend, good friend of hers as well,
comes up. He's like, hey, who's who's the brunette?
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I used to go check her out.
Speaker 8 (18:28):
He was a friend of mine.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yeah, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
I just let it ride.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
I'm like, oh man, you should Yeah, she looks good.
You should go check her out.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Out killing.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
What I'm getting in front of is what what you do?
Speaker 3 (18:45):
What you up?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
We don't like? I wish yes, straight, I'll tell you.
That's what I'm going. That's exactly it sounds like.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
And it sounds like he just got to buckle up
with your about a month.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, now, this whole summer.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
About a month phades out.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Jake broke all the flannel.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yeah, that's why he left the golf court. I gotta
get home now now, I gotta be there by four
thirty around.
Speaker 8 (19:12):
No, that was the That was the five year old
doing that because it was her four cake.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
That's right. He had to get back for that, get her.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
But it's funny if we said it the other way.
We don't need that, We.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
Don't need the true She is not one to mess
with either.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yeah, you know, five year old runs the house yea,
and she should as we still sitting here.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
We can't leave our tricks. I don't know if Chris
got a little you know, little have.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
You ever had really be straight like that? Be just
with a bang.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah, that'd be. That'd be. But don't change your attitude though.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
She always has an attitude.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
To see. I don't know if we can hear what
she's saying on the light. Jesus, she good, Mario, she
got yeah, Yeah, she's coming at me this that just
have this a separate segment. But sitting to your family
because they're.
Speaker 8 (20:21):
Gonna be dias straight hair versus curly hair.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Yeah, Jake walking out. Let the sister sit down anyway.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, we're talking about you because I got out of
my six daughters, three are curly and three or straight.
They want to be opposite and they know when they
do a certain hair do. I'm not I'm not messing
with her, dad, I'm not messing with her. Why because
one of them has her uh Danielle has her braids
all the way down to an ankle, Like, how do
(20:54):
you go to the bathroom that much hair?
Speaker 3 (20:58):
So, yeah, she got tied up. Don't you swing around?
Speaker 2 (21:04):
So you know better? When each other has straight curly,
it's a different.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
It sounds like Harson, It sounds like Tracy is good
all the time.
Speaker 9 (21:14):
Well, our hair is naturally curly, so when we do
when it's straight, we have.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
To do work to it.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Okay, but that's fair.
Speaker 9 (21:24):
But if he reads some research studies done on when
there's when a woman has straight hair versus curly hair,
and then as far as when people take them seriously
or if they're like in a board meeting and there
is some science to.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
Them, Yes, who's taken more seriously?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Straight hair.
Speaker 9 (21:47):
More they they're more stern and taken more seriously. But
curly hair is more trusting.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
And this isn't meeting.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Spaces right right, this report.
Speaker 9 (21:58):
Yeah, so it's pretty fascinating.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
That it's yeah, yeah, yeah, straight hair, curly hair. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
This dude, this stud in the background, he's so happy
to be back there right now. He was really warming,
so happy to be where he is right.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Now, especially when I asked him what he's like, Grey's
gonna suck everything up for me? Yeah, yeah, I got
to sleep.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Come on, man, what you doing Gary?
Speaker 2 (22:27):
It's all good though, Yeah, that's why we put it that. Yeah,
wait do we edit this? Y'able? Well?
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Nothing like family today? Ask we get?
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Well, yeah, you can't wait that somebody gets sick, He said,
you know what, I've also wanted to tell.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Her I like her right well, and I don't like it. Well,
not that I always want to tell her that we
appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Right, It's almost like saying with all due respect to
say something disrespectful. Yeah, I don't mean to sound racist,
but the next day you say it's gonna be. I
don't mean to sound like I don't love your hair,
but I don't like it like that.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
You know I do, but I like it like that, like, yeah,
most definitely pops. You know it looks a little spicy
to me. Yeah, very spicy.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Roy.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
You want to talk about these uh pack of rookies
real quick coming in.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Uh, welcome to Leap thirty six podcast. Want to start over,
We're gonna start We got the best producer ever. We're
gonna say that. But America, We're gonna tell you all
a separate segment on families. Please listen to it. Uh,
I saw something that you sent me because Uh, I
(23:54):
be off the grid sometimes about Uh Matthew Golden and
williams Uh the two receivers. Yes, they went fishing, yes together.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Now the reason why I thought that was great because
I just want to tell the vets who really not vets,
but they're still young too. The receiver room before these
guys come in there, because they'll all get together at
some point soon. Be nice to these They not here
to take your job. They're here to get in where
(24:32):
they fit in. But seeing that they both were fishing together,
you just don't see that Normally, the first round pick,
he's walking around like ee the king, I'm the guy
of this class. Everything goes through me. But it's not
like that. When I when I saw the fishing thing,
(24:54):
I like these dudes. I loved it. You don't fish, yeah, dude,
I just fished for a a type of fish.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Yeah, well I just fish whatever.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
You know. You know my motto, right, what if it's bigger,
if it's big enough to hit my plate, if it's
be enough to hit my bait, it's big enough to
hit my plate, ain't no catching release here.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
If you're not Walley, I'll throw you back.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
No, I'm gonna eat everything that that jump on that thing. Yeah,
I'll suck them through.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, I ain't doing that.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Yeah. But actually Jen, yeah, Genda.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
So she's the man at the house. Yeah, fine, ask me. Yeah, huh,
I do everything in the kitchen. But yeah, I ain't
feeling no damn gender. She cleans him the whole. Now,
oh she cooks him too. Yeah, I just got to
(25:53):
catch it. Well, I do all the cooking, but geartt cooked.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
He just oh yeah, I do cook. But she cleans
the fish, yeah, clean.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
And she does the stuff that's healthy. Jennifer does stuff
so healthy. Stuff does not so healthy, you know, gary
not so not so. Yeah, but uh, I'll just send
it to Charlie Bars. He'll clean it.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Oh, he'll clean for real.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
He loves the clean fish with a spoon.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, that's what Gene cleans it with. Jane cleans with
a spoon. Yeah, it's popping all.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
He doesn't even have gargles on glasses, just jeans outside
cleaning the spoon.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Nephew, you don't need no gargles while you.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Clean scales everywhere.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
He rolled his scales everywhere. Flies.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Certain I can do all that now.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
His dad is a expert fish clean fish. You get
him a bucket, come back in five minutes, it's done.
But yeah, I ain't doing it. Yeah. Yeah, so I
don't know what they call Did they ask him in
the article?
Speaker 3 (27:00):
No they didn't.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
But but you're right, it's glad to see these guys.
They knew each other anyway before they got here. Yeah,
and you're right, you're right, and your wrongly Roy in
a sense. When you first come in as a rookie,
you don't think you're taking nobody's job, but eventually that's
what happened, because somebody's got to go home. Well if
(27:23):
you don't perform, you right, I mean, it's it's just
it's just what it is. But it nice to you, Yes,
that's what I'm saying. But when you become a veteran,
and you because you're in a different space when you're
a veteran name when you are in a rook when
you become like a seven year veteran or a six
year veteran, they draft the dude in the first round
(27:44):
at your spot.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
You know what that is.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Yeah, so eventually they they take your spot. The rookies
don't think that way. The veterans. It comes to mind,
And you're right. Italy was probably in this seventh year
and garyols in their probably seventh year when I came
in and dude showed me the ropes. So you're right,
(28:08):
there's no animosity and it feels like the package though
in general they got a great locker room. Yeah, and
I think that's all not just receivers, just like everybody
in there.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Man the flu. If you can't play for Mandla Flu,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Because he's gonna give you a chance as a young guy,
you're gonna get a chance. Some of these rookies, it's
a shock to them now because they'll come back with
the veterans. But when they were here with the rookies,
they were like always going out there with the person's
second team.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Right, and then you get with the vet that wasn't
shock Lero.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
You may not even go out.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
There and get any No, no, yo, you're on. You're on.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Uh you're on the taxi squad over and not tax squad,
but you're on the look squad.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
Look squad.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, because last week I was demand this week, hey,
I need you to be number thirty four in this
I need you to look at this chart and corner.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Wait a minute, it's played this way, right, And.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Then sometimes if your first round pick, you'll be to
the side and you wait for your package to be caught.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Right because you're already in there in the package.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Yeah, so they're not gonna make I wanted to be
on the look squad because I wanted pair of crypt
that was like my my big brother. I wanted to
show him that, show me the rules, right, what's the
choice route? He said, you don't know what the choice route?
(29:35):
Never heard of it? Well, you know they call a
play and the play I'm getting the ball. And if
a guy man and man, I can do this vis
in zone, I can do this, right, he said, I'll
simplified for you. And this made my day. He said,
if it's man and man, I'm running underneath. If it's
on I'm sitting down and Makowski is gonna know.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
That the play.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Right. That blew my mind right, right, So when I
saw these guys hanging out, that was.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
A big deal, right, Or it could be what shoulder
you are and I'm going the opposite way.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Yes, yes, and he would do that. Magic would do
that with Sterling. Yeah, Stering won't be rightly. Want that
thing on that hip? Yeah right, this is way before
back shoulder was a thing. Yeah, you put it on
(30:32):
my hip. I'm gonna put my elbow in the cornerbacks
like his ribs, and I'm gonna create separation. I said,
oh that's good. I just thought you just run away
from God. But Sterling was like no strong and then
(30:52):
period was elusive.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Yeah, yeah, I remember.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
And Robert Brooks was Robert combination of both.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Antonio Freeman is.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Was you ever see a duck walking away? Yeah, that's
how Freeman is. We called him quack man. Why why
whack because he his hips are like secure, Yeah, they
don't lie. Yeah, because when guys for DV Yes, so
(31:26):
God will followed him to the next level. Free give
him that shape and they fall.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
You know, that's a tough free that guy crafty.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
After the game. I used to talk to Merton Hanks
and tell McDonald and all the guys after the game,
or we played Tampa, we talked to some of the
other guys. Man, they told us Freeman was a four six.
He's always behind us. I say, it's that shape, man,
This shake gets you. He ain't just running straight line
(32:00):
right and he learned it really and Rookie camp Oh,
I got to separate myself because Freeman was a return guy. Yeah,
so they may put Williams as a return but he's
gonna he's gonna have to return. I know he's big,
but I would put him back there. Well, both of them.
(32:21):
He got some shake.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Williams and Golden gonna have Yeah, they're gonna put him
back there.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Yeah, yeah, so you know them people special team crazy,
but not not anymore.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
They fly out in there.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
It's not like it take you out.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
It's not like that no more. Yeah, he ain't.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
It's a whole different ball game. Yes, yeah, yeah, they
done got rid of most of them. Guys don't play
in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
So Williams is your guy.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
You think of Williams. I love that dude.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Now, Golden gonna be golden like that like that, right,
he's gonna be golden. So we ain't saying he's not
gonna have a good year, saying save you and Williams
for where he was picked. Yes, got an opportunity to
do some stuff because you don't see third round picks
like that.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
That, well, that can have it.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
I think that could be the sleeper the whole draft.
His measurables off the shot. Now he drops a couple
of too real, but who don't what you mean passes?
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Well, he'll fit ready for this group, this tax effects
Man top five leading dropping fast. Yeah, my nephew told
me about Jordan Love had that group caught the ball
on the consistent basis because he takes it. If you
(33:45):
were to called what would have happened, Jordan Love would
be leading the league in all but all category. It'd
be it'll be through the start. But the one thing
about Love, I love pun intended like that, like he
don't dress him down.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
No, no, no, don't and he don't get mad and
the ball.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Yeah, do what I tell you to do?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Doing nothing that what's that you have to sing?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
I'm telling you to run?
Speaker 3 (34:13):
That's only only he knows.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
Only you know that, and I know it only if
you went to the barbecue.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, only you know.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Come on, man, tell it to the group because I
may be out on, wasn't we so? But I had
some old people I want to throw this out that
throw throw this at you. Uh, this one particular guy,
I ain't gonna say his name. He don't deserve it
because he always looked for something bad. Well, I see
(34:41):
they got Jordan Love of first rown receiver and got
him weapons. I'm like, what's wrong with that? They should
have did that with Aaron Rodgers. I said, dude, that
was a long time ago. While you're thinking about that,
why you even going there? But what did your mom
(35:04):
told us not to say this word. I won't say it,
but it starts with that. Yeah, just straight stupidly.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Roy, I'm like, why are you even going there?
Speaker 2 (35:16):
As Gary a bottle dis guys who used to build
a radio space? I said, okay, I'll ask you. Oh
my god, So getting love weapons was top of mind.
I thought that'd be a good thing.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
It should be.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
So, but you know, Garty, I think it gonna be
a big impact. The second round pick.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
I think I think he's got to stay healthy, right, yeah,
I think he's got an opportunity to play a little bit.
That that offensive line is going to be a working progress.
I mean it's open. I think there's some positions open, Yes,
I really do. I don't know how it's gonna shake out.
(36:03):
Because they went and got what's the kid the Aaron
Banks Banks. I don't know how that's gonna work out.
Bank wide open too, Elton Jenkins center, right, Sean Ryan.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Zach Tom, I don't know all that.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Jordan.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
She walker over there.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
And joining your first round pick. Yeah, yeah, what are
you gonna put him? What are you gonna put him?
Speaker 3 (36:25):
At? Morgan? So they got a lot of stuff.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
She walk and said, I ain't getting them.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Not left tackle. I want to move over there to right.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Yeah, right over but left close.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Yeah. Yeah, so but that's a good thing. That's a
good thing.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
It's gonna be eight because that's what happened to him
in the playoffs against Philly.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
They have enough depth.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
You got the Monk kid coming back from last year.
You should be a year stronger. But I think you
might be right about that. Old line's gonna be key.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
We take seventy one. Yeah, this weekend, which one, well
last week seventy one, it was two seventy ones since
Helen not sent there was two seventy ones. This weekend
he side sentences. He signed off on Kevin Barry you
seventy one. Kevin Barry came in. I told him for
(37:15):
branding because he has a limousine service service. Yeah, I said,
we need to rebrand it to you. Seventy one. So
big Belton, Yeah, bringing in yeah on the gold line, Yeah,
extra block, Yeah, you're the tight end.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Detroit does it yes all the time.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
And they even threw the guy pass right and leroy
you know what that that's your beef squad, Yes, sure,
goal line beef.
Speaker 2 (37:49):
Beef beef what we're going to eat. No man talk
about the big line.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yeah, beef that you and I don't care that.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
The defense.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
No, I don't care beef package. I'm not even put
them in the in the route for two. That's what
Detroit does.
Speaker 7 (38:04):
I know.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
But but you, I think that's how you get him
in there at the tight end and you run the
ball with Josh Jacob when you get down to the ten,
run that ballun't normally they'll put up a linebacker out there.
If they put an extra lineman out there.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Fine, right where they bring another that.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Synchronized synchro synchronization one step one cut touched down.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
So I think it'll be the second round pick, Okay,
But to be honest.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
With you, it could be in it.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
It can be.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
It could be in.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
They gonna get some playing time, Yes, the first three
picks for sure.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
Yeah, because you guys find out the kid from Texas
the defensive line well Russia. Yeah, this is what it
is to be a thing that because outside linebacker was
well that wasping them, Bryce, popping them on third down.
Bryce would put his hand in the ground.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Yeah. Tony Bennett, Tony Bennett, same guy, this.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Guy the linebackers first two downs. I haven't seen Tony
in a minute.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Yeah, that's why I was always good to see our alumni.
They need to come on back.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Man.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
So the rookies, uh, well they get with the grown
folks and guys. I really, I just because Watson, cause
I know what he's thinking. I'm not going to be
back until later season and then he's going to a
contract year.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
He's still a part of it. But that takes You
don't have to rush him back.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Yeah, just I think he'll be back a lot earlier than.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Right. But but you don't have to rush him though. Yeah,
just take it.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
I think they're gonna take his time. Eight nine games.
I think we'll see him after that. He comes back
the middle of the year.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Yeah. So defense, uh thirty three twenty nine my starters.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
That safety, Yeah, no brainer.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Yeah, my nephew haven't William Man. He looked good. Yeah,
and I think it stay healthy. Jay is still on
the team because I get a lot of questions about it.
He ain't going nowhere everywhere I go.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
What's the what's up?
Speaker 2 (40:25):
What's three? I said, twenty three? Good dollar?
Speaker 3 (40:28):
What's Yeah?
Speaker 2 (40:30):
I guess there's no updates, but reports. Uh, they're close
to doing this right. They don't get done when they
get done right. I think both sides got time. The
packers aren't in any hurry. They should agree. Yeah, that
they agree on something. Yeah, they ain't leaked that out,
(40:53):
leak that link that out. We agree whatever it is,
right on something. We agree on something, link that out.
Me and my wife have a rule. Uh after twenty minutes,
I don't care who's right, who's wrong, how mad you are.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
We just let it go.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
And sometimes it's hard if you live with me.
Speaker 7 (41:15):
Does that apply on Fridays?
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Who your damn right on Friday? On Friday, I'm letting
it go.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
Friday, don't take it.
Speaker 4 (41:23):
Sorry right away, I'm just done.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
On Friday?
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Was all right?
Speaker 3 (41:30):
Oh, he's a little puppy on Friday.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
What was the movie be?
Speaker 3 (41:35):
What was the movie?
Speaker 7 (41:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (41:37):
Now Monday, different story Friday. Yeah, Yo, Monday was my fault.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
Yeah, I'm trying.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
What was the movie?
Speaker 8 (41:48):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (41:49):
The guys they had they dress up and they were
they weren't spies, but they saved the world. Now, no, it's.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
Now.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
That was a good guest though.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
The guy named way up in the balcony.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
Now in section five, hundred he way section way up.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
In the balcony Rose.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
He man in the front with Renee.
Speaker 1 (42:15):
It was.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
You go into a habitdash tree, pick out a suit.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yeah, and then you go on a mission.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Okay, And I think his name was ig Big, but
I remember him calling up.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
They sit.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Then the movie on twob not National movie.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Okay, I just checked it.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
They said we're gonna send a signal to everybody. Who
get this signal, you're gonna wherever you are, you're gonna
try to kill the next person that. So the guy said, listen,
call he said, call my mom and say put the
baby in the bathroom locked. So cause mama had that,
it was in her phone phone and it's the signal guy.
(42:58):
So she was trying to kill baby. Oh dang, I
mean trying to get in there.
Speaker 4 (43:05):
But the young man watching on TV mana.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Just get in.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
But the guy is called to say, tell toll the
young ladies and young lady call my mom, tell my
mom just lock the baby up and throw away the
key because I don't want to hurt his little sister.
So my thing is that until you get that signal,
everybody else is fighting each other. She's trying to get
(43:34):
in the bathroom to get to the baby. So not
to give away the movie, but y'all don't know what
it is. But not like you don't know, I don't know.
But when they got the signal to hurt each other,
he was in the day. He killed the signal, but
(43:55):
you had to get Samuel Jackson was part of it,
and he killed the man at the end. But it
went away when you mad. This what'll come to when
you mad lock yourself in the bathroom and don't say
that to your wife that you gonna regret.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Or go in the basement yourself over to the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
Just go in the basement like chelf in the bathroom,
dude number two, that too.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
That brings it down.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
But stay away from each other and after twenty minutes
up is over with. That is forget about it. It
will help you. I'm telling you standing there arguing and
you're gonna regret it. And then he said, hey man,
it's Friday. I gotta make this up. Lock yourself in
the bathroom.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
That is from le Roy. Lock yourself in the bathroom.
You speaking of making up shelf in the bathroom Lee
Roy R G three and RC Yeah, going at it
this week.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
Yeah, I don't get that one.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Now, Caitlyn Clark, alies, we're gonna, we're gonna put all
that in one bag if we can't. Yeah, but if
I'm Angel Rees and Caitlyn Clark, folks, can it be
like Magic and Bird? But it feels like it's different.
Speaker 4 (45:14):
I mean, but put on the compete all the time
like Magic Bird.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
Save the NBA, but there were no It felt like
there was no victory all. I mean, it seems this
Kaitlyn Clark anguries seems more than that.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
It feels like it's fake.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
No, no, no, it seems to be more of a
some feels like some racial connotations behind it. Oh, I
don't get the race. Yeah, that's what it feels like
to me. That's what it feels like. Competitive, right, but
it wasn't like that. Well I'm just going black and
white now, just just just me. It's what it's what
(45:56):
I feel. I haven't gone to a game where Kaitlyn
Clark or Angel I haven't seen any of that, but
it's just kind of what I'm hearing. And I think
the w n b A though, Yep, it's a great
thing for the w n b A to have two
stars like that, and it should be. Everybody should be
uplifting one another. And it's just it doesn't feel like
(46:19):
it's it's uplifting for.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
The w n B.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
A lifting done.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
Well, that's what I'm going back to Bird and Magic
because that was uplifting and that soul that's what I'm
going back to that that saved the NBA.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
This should be uplifting.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Well, but this is the sky and what you play
with the fever all that's new, so you don't have
the you don't have the history behind it. But it
should it should be. It should be uplifting. I don't
feel like it's just too much jump tracks. And then
you got r G three, Then you got Ryan Clark,
and they want to.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
You know, wife is white and r c U Ryan
Clark wash saying that she was clapping or something in
the background, grandstanding. But they have r G three and
(47:19):
his wife have a podcast together. Yeah, but I don't
know why he had to bring his wife into it.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
Yeah, and and of course he apologized later a couple
of days afterward. He thought her what he did was wrong.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
Yeah, it's wrong. She could do it. I should hope
my wife always celebrates stuff.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
I do.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
But if he left his wife, I don't have a
good point about it then, because you can talk about
black women's struggle and how they celebrate I'm a mama's
boy to it, ever, but I don't put down nobody
else to say that. I just say my mom is amazing.
I don't put down anybody else's mom. Correct, And then they, uh,
(48:01):
you get a lot of beefs like that whenn't Sometimes
you don't have to comment on everything, right, right.
Speaker 1 (48:09):
I wish from from both sides, I just wish r
G three would have just kept it on the basketball
court that there was a lot of stuff to talk
about that because yeah, RG three when he first because
he's because he first came out said that the Angels
(48:30):
hates Caitlin Clark. Well, that's that's not basketball, but that's
not bad. You there's so much to talk about in
basketball with those two girls that they didn't have to
be like personal like that way.
Speaker 2 (48:45):
Yeah, you say you hate Barry Sanders, right, but when
I see Barry Sanders, I hug his nack right right, right.
Maybe he was trying to say, well, you got to
explain it, but but but you have to.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
Explain it, like, yeah, and I don't think he did
that kind of jumped off and blah blah blah all that.
You know, you, I mean, you could clearly talk about
Angel Reeves right now. I think she she's the first
girl in history of the w n b A with
the amount of double doubles she has and the points
scored and rebounds.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
It talk about that that they ain't gonna sell talk about.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
That, yeah, I mean there's a lot. I mean there's
a lot. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (49:26):
It's just it just feels. So what's that word ever?
Cereals that a wordre nature. It just feels should be uplifting.
I wanted to be uplifting. I don't feel like that.
It's well, I.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Don't think people it would sell if they were friends.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
Now I'm going back to Bird and Magic.
Speaker 2 (49:46):
Yeah, if Bird, imagine was friends on the court, people
ain't gonna like.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
But off the court they were, they were tight. They
Magic at his moment in the house eating, they were tight.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
Because I'm a Laker fan, I don't want you to
high five and Bird and Bird ain't friendser nobody on
the court, nobody. He's a killer. But I think ultimately,
though we are talking about w n b A and
that could be.
Speaker 3 (50:15):
A good thing, what that is because it keeps them
in line light. But I just but I'm with you.
I think if you can.
Speaker 2 (50:24):
With sports, if you can, like, don't make it so personal.
Speaker 3 (50:29):
No, right, yeah, you don't have to just because I
like this.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
For example, I don't just because I think Lebron James
is to go. I don't hate Jordan's right, come on, man,
I love Jordan, right, I mean question, everybody knows you
like James. What when I saw Jordan? What happened? Gad?
Oh you right there?
Speaker 3 (50:54):
You took a pic, man, man, Come on, man, yes,
then you know what he said?
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (51:00):
What he said?
Speaker 3 (51:02):
What he said? Look at my shoes?
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Right?
Speaker 3 (51:06):
That Jordan's Jeorde.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
He thinks the golden is Lebron James Marke said, I
like it. He the only one got on Georgia.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
Look at the shoes.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
Because I read the room.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Yeah, yeah, you gotta read the room. Read the room.
I read the room right because I'm.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Gonna be there. I'm wearing Jordan Jordan's Who.
Speaker 7 (51:30):
Where is Lebron's anyway? That's never never mind.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Before we got out of here, though, I do want
to talk about two things. Real quick one with you
one me Uh this weekend went to Atlanta and my
niece graduated from Spelman. So that's why I got my
spell had home spellman shirt. Oh yes, spell, she says,
spelled you can read. Yeah, she graduated kum Lottie. I
(51:58):
don't even know what that means.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Yeah me need I don't.
Speaker 1 (52:02):
Yeah, you got magna kum Latti and you got kum Latti.
I don't know what either one of them mean as
it is. So she walked across the stage. Now she's
gonna go uh to University of North Carolina to get
what was that if they finished four years tri math? Yeah,
(52:22):
she'll go there for two years and finish up.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
That's extensive too.
Speaker 8 (52:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Yeah, So shout out to my niece Sydney.
Speaker 8 (52:32):
Do you know what she's going for?
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Yeah, she doing some uh something in biology science the area. Yeah,
something smart, Yeah, something smart.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
Somebody don't know about. Yeah, some I don't know about.
I don't know what. Can you tell me?
Speaker 1 (52:47):
Diff between magna gum Latti and gum latti anybody got at.
Speaker 10 (52:52):
Kum Latti is with great honor is a higher level
of distinction, typically required a higher g P a UH
and class rank often three point eight or three point nine.
Kumar is a level of academic distinction, so with high
GPAs typically three point five to three point seven.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Leo, all I know is, you know when you know
when the smart people when they when they graduate, how
you know, I don't even need how, you know, you
don't know how you know how? You know? Yeah, when
they got them, damn them, damn Rode Town.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
She rush.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
She couldn't even walk a neck with her right the network,
she got the rope and then of course she's a
a ka. Yeah, so she got it with the AKA saying,
and she got all these other things coming on. I said, good,
you're gonna be hot around your neck.
Speaker 8 (53:44):
Good for her.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
It was like ninety degrees in Atlanta.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yeah, so yeah, shout out to Sydney. She did a
great job.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
Who was all your family members that My mom was there.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
My sister. My sister graduated also from Spelman Honors. I
believe like in My sister made it, graduated like ninety nine.
So they brought what they did Leroy, they brought back
all the women's it was all girls school. They brought
back all the women. Oh, they graduated from Spencer. I
think they started with the class of nineteen fifty and
(54:14):
all March students art. It was, it was powerful, It
was unbelievad you cry if you saw, but it was unbelievable.
So really had a great time. Like my mom my sisters,
both my sisters there, we ate at my sister house.
She she had it catered. I forget the catering places.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
What was some of the food that was there. Wings
just all different types of all different types of wings,
little budgets. When you had literally when you advocated, when
you advocated out budd everybody.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
Wings had all the wings.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
They had all the kind of desserts you could ever want.
Why would you cater just went and then they had
uh had this great they had this great thing real
it was have you ever had ricks and salmon?
Speaker 3 (55:01):
I have grit Chris was shrip.
Speaker 1 (55:03):
Yeah, grits and salmon. So they had this dish where
they put the grits in this thing and then they
put the salmon on.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
Oh that was so good, well man, for white people.
That's creaming wheat. Yeah, white people's creaming week white people
and salmon.
Speaker 3 (55:18):
It's really good. Yeah. And a couple of weeks ago
your daughter graduated.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
Yeah, Gabby graduated from HBCU ever Waters College. Now this
was a big deal because I went to Upward Bound
and that's where you go there in the summer to
see what college life is about at this particular school.
And their colors are orange and purple, and I think
(55:46):
it's the first HBCU school in the state of Florida,
one of the first ones. And she also is an
ak and so there's a lot of women that sounded
like dolphins.
Speaker 3 (56:00):
I'm like, what is that?
Speaker 2 (56:03):
What y'all doing? Who y'all calling? Yeah? And I got
some beef with AKA.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
What beef you got? I got a lot of beef.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
But I had to like suppress my feelings because I
was at Florida State. I go to an AKA partner.
I'm all American. Now, okay, this is before the internet,
so they couldn't google who I was, but you should
know on Florida State and Family campus who I am.
So some of the football players and us, we're going
(56:38):
to the party or walk up there U F s U,
actually both campuses. We walk up to their house because
they got an ak ak a houses pink and green.
It's really nice, right, go upstairs. And we it's a party.
(56:59):
You can see it this. Uh, I'm gonna just say
a stud came to the front, you know, like a
woman stud. So you called the woman a stud? Yes, lord, okay, A.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
Bout six three okay three. When you're dating Larroy, you
get them kind of names. Just say, you know, what
are you out there? She was, what about six three
three something three and change?
Speaker 2 (57:37):
Five dollars? We ain't got no damn five hours, Lroy Buckler.
Speaker 4 (57:42):
But she's like, who the hell is you?
Speaker 2 (57:44):
She put her hand in my chest five dollars? I said,
he mane, come on. So we walking up the stairs.
So we all stopped, but she touched me. I fell
back and knock to guys, back back, what's on the
line up, y'all? Like the three students know it was?
(58:06):
It was like a boy man, Yeah, to Florida.
Speaker 3 (58:10):
State, you're on.
Speaker 4 (58:11):
I bet you.
Speaker 3 (58:13):
Garn it did and go there.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
I bet you was eleven of us so that eighth
nineteenth eleven. God, they gotta get startled. Yeah, it's fire.
I said, we don't want no five dollars college.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Slammer doing our face? Boom? Guys, we ain't getting in?
What did you tell them you yes, she don't care.
She's doing her job. So we go to the Delta
Red and the White. We go to their party. Oh
that's roy Lee.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Come on, let him in.
Speaker 2 (58:48):
Give him a cup, say I don't smoke her drink.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Get some words us in.
Speaker 2 (58:53):
But if you got that cup, it's unlimited drinks. Whatever
they pouring back there. Let us in. Gave us a
little wrist band. It was a little too tight, but
we had it. Yeah, we just them the football players
because it's all girls and guys are having a good time.
So that the Deltas treated me with royal ak.
Speaker 3 (59:16):
They following the rules.
Speaker 4 (59:19):
You can't follow the rules when that's why you be
for them. Yeah, that's like a thirty year beef.
Speaker 2 (59:25):
His daughter.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
You don't like his daughter.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
Well, I since I'm a hypocrite too, Did I tell
you that?
Speaker 3 (59:33):
Yeah you are?
Speaker 2 (59:34):
Once my daughter went over? Yeah is that when they Yeah,
she went over? Okay, I suppressed those ceilings, but shout
out to the Delta five was a lot of money.
Speaker 3 (59:48):
Well back then you ain't got no but it.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
Was unlimited food and drinks with you in the squad.
Speaker 4 (59:53):

Speaker 2 (59:55):

Speaker 3 (59:58):

Speaker 2 (59:59):
Mean we don't pay a ground. Yeah, the pale ground
hadn't hit yet. Yeah, you know, direct check because the
check you got working seven days for the clear just
a check. So it's like, okay, but let us say,

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Hope all americame on? Man, got my stuff?
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
She hey follow the rules and that was the rules,
which I admit it's fine. But the Deltas come on
in because they recognize.

You got something on the trade on the trigger. I
wanna smoke him. Put them on the grill.

my mama got about five bags of field piece. She

put him in a carry on bag for me, right, So,

when you go over to the side like that when
it comes through, you know they're gonna check your back, right.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
