Well it kind of goes into both, but combine first.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Since the combine, Yeah, combine. And if you've been to.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
The Underwear Olympics, yeah, yeah, I never knew they called.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
It underwear Olympics. So what I That's what I called it?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Because you have on shorts. Yeah, that's what I call
shirt that says dB yeah with.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
An and I'm like, okay. The thing about it was
testing was a big deal. The forty time is the
anxiety everybody wants to run fast. If you know this story,
I apologize, but it's worth telling because I get to
the combine and I just had a great year. Consensus

(04:48):
all American. Oh man, it was met Bob Hope. I'm
gonna get drafted. But you don't aware, but you know,
I was at the Senior Bowl and you go through
it all.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
The only thing that was left out.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
There again with the school pro day, Yeah, that's a
little bit later, right, right, that's later. So I always
tell kids that if you didn't get an invite to
the combine. It's okay just to worry about it, because
you know, why tell them, I'm living proof.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I didn't get invited to the combine, but got your
pro dain, man, But go to the pro dain. Yes,
show up and show out. Yeah, on your surface, yes,
with your coaches, right, with your quarterback, you.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Get home phil advantage.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yes, yeah, everything You're right about the surface.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
So it is it a big deal to some Yes,
most guys, the topic don't even work out anyway.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Right, they just while not back then, only all the
topics work out well then Now now we ancient.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
But d I ran four one eight six, put his
trench code on and out.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
He was gonna be a.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Topic right anyway. But what they're doing now is unheard of.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Though.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
It's it's completely different way.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
You and the analytics part of it. So I wasn't
real strong and I wasn't real big.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
I see all.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
These guys Mario taking their shirts off, and they.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Cut Mario taking the shirt off.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
They got, you know, the guys at the combine, they
got a shape. They got like a twelve pack. I
had like a one pack and a bunch of fat.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
So I'm like, uh, where y'all get these shirts from man,
it's in your bag.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
You know, I'm extreme poverty. I thought it was just
a gift.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
So I just put the bag on my shoulders and
wore my clothes to the way in.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Just regular clothes. Yes, cause I'm thinking they give you
some gifts because I've never had this. I was excited
this guy here, man.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
So I went in there and they came and in
and I got on the scale with my shoes on.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Now you gotta take your shoes off, bro. You know't
let you scale your shoes out. So but did you
change clothes though? Did you where?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
They say, sir, you gotta the stuff in the bag
put it?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Could have other coaches that some of these coaches look
like they hadn't smiled their whole life. They're like, I
mean the tough guys. Yeah, I mean got the square
s like they're in the military. You got a cursing
that go over there and change into the GG clothes
and I'm like, calm down, I'm going to do that.
Do you know, I'm all American man, take it easy.
So I go change and everybody's wearing in. I came

(07:26):
in there and I get up on the scale, gey,
you still got my shoes on? Yeah, take the shoes
on your socks all we need to get an accurate height.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
And wait, they won't measurement accurate accurate.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
I say, well, okay, so I get up there, Lord Butler,
five eleven one four.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I say, bullshit, you missed it.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Uh yeah, the three quarters though they put in the
three quarters five eleven and three quarters.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Yeah, because I and.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
The press guy at Florida State, what was you?

Speaker 6 (07:58):
I was six, I said, man, bs, I'm six one
one night. That's what the media guy at Florida State said,
six one one night for a cornerback.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
But we go on with that look in there too.
I ain't got that. Yeah, I got Oh, I didn't
have that, but in my mind I'm four four.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yes, So you've been running there for like a good
three years there because.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Coaches rounded down whatever's best.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
So I was like dejected. I'm like, I'm not big
enough because you want to be six one one ninety.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
So I go down, we get ready for the forty
and I run in turf shoes.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Them big old heavy turf shoes.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Because I don't know a lot of sprinter clade hoppers.
So I'm thinking I ain't gonna get dressed. I gave
him a blazing four six two blazer.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Please.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
I thought it was fast, so I got.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
I think his name is James Francis Apolotiz.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
He went number five to Buffalo. He was.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
He was from Fresno State, straight sprinter.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I'm looking.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Oh, he got the right shoe, he got, he got
the spring shoes on.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
He got the right shoes, got the shoes on him.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
So I borrowed a pair of shoes from another deepensive bag. Yeah,
and I gave him a blistering four to five.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Second okay, improvement.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
I could tell that was slow because once you run,
they didn't even look up and drift down at me.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
They looked at the next guy. Yeah, that good guy.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
He ain't going nowhere fur No.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I knew it wasn't no folk, But I told him,
I'm yeah, you know, I'm gonna put down a full
four because old Florida State DV ran four four four
a t buck put a four three one on them
before two.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
He did.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
And then you know something that line of great.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
No, but when they put me in that classroom on
the grease board, you let me have it.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
I could have ran the class. So that was my
niche So I'm telling.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You you didn't get it invite like I think Dian
Sun the safety they get invide, he's gonna get drafted. Fine,
you're gonna go higher than you think. And the later
you go, pick the team where you want to go.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
If you're a free agent, right, if you undrafted better, yeah,
pick your team. That's better than Sometimes that's better to
getting drafted at all.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
And then get stuck somewhere in the.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah, but it changed my life man, And you know,
rest in peace to Dick darn because Dick drawn. He
was like, it's a lot of guys run fast, but
if you don't know where to go, what good to
speed do you? So I tell people that story all
the time, families and ages.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
If they don't, you don't have to go to the combat.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
But that PRODSM, yeah, he's saying, get advised, don't worry
about it. He said, go ahead of pro day, Yes,
be ready to go. We're gonna have you ready. He goes,
you know what, you're probably gonna do better at your
PROE than you would if you do an in an
outlas the Napolis. You just gonna get swallowed up with
all the people that have held all the media. He said,
we're gonna train you. Pro day comes in Madison, You're
gonna go work out with everybody.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Go.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
You're gonna have your own quarterback, You're gonna have your
own coaches. Everybody gonna be timing you that you know
familiar faces. And I think that's what helped me and
that's what I needed.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Did you think, dude, Wisconsin?

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I always want to ask you this, do what Wisconsin
players want to play for the Packers or known I did?

Speaker 1 (11:39):
I wanted to be home and so I had my
pro day and then the Packers had the Packers, the
forty nine ers, uh, it was the Raiders and the
Vikings all had a private workout with me separate nice
after the pro day, told me that I did well

(12:01):
up my prote and they wanted some individual time to
come in and see.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Well, Coach Pete there when you were there?

Speaker 1 (12:08):
So coach p Yes was with the forty nine ers, Yes,
and Coach Pete came and worked me out privately in
uh in Madison. That's dad, Rodney Peake's dad, Yeah, Rodney Pete,
that's yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Then coach Pete then came and coached the running backs
at Green Bay. Yes, good dude, great dude, And you're
talking about, you know, a guy that helped me out
greatly in my getting ready for football and just a
good knowledge he was. He was a great, great I
would say father figure because yeah, he had kids, he
had boys that was played football in the NFL. He

(12:44):
knew what was all about. Blah blah blah. I said,
you know, coach, I ain't go to the p He said,
where about the prote He goes, That's why he goes.
I saw you, I said, I didn't go to the combine.
He said, I saw you in the pro day. They
sent me back so we can get someone on one time.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
What was that phone call when they drafted you?

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Uh, young lady inside chick and Georgia just come around
to the house.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
No lero at the time. No, yeah, so at the time.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
My wife, my first wife, because I've been married like
three times, but we'll talk. Yeah, but my jerious wife.
But yeah, yeah, my first wife. I take out the lero.
I'm gonna throw it on him.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
And i'dn't been married twice.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
Fine, but my first Jennifer too, my first wife, which
is actually my girlfriend at the time.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
She was at Is that your draft party? Yeah, she was.
Wasn't no draft party. It was just me and her.
It was just me and her there and we watched
the draft on TV with by the phone because I
ain't want all that.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I ain't want a lot of people don't really like.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I want all that, and they had you didn't know.
So my my senior year at Wisconsin, I think I
know at one point we had old the record for
the most players that got drafted in one year. I
think in nineteen eighty four, nineteen eighty three we had eleven.

(14:11):
It was twelve round twelve rounds, so we had eleven
guys get drafted that year. We had were a really
good team. We didn't do well, but then we went
to a couple of Bowl games. We had a lot
of talent. We had three guys drafted in the first
round that year.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
If you undrafted free agents going to the other teams,
probably more.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
There were way more.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yes, we had a lot of guys that went through freegency.
But anyway, I was there with my girlfriend. I get drafted,
Lee Remmel, that's my guy Gary Gary Just uh is
Carl You know, we're getting ready to take it. The
Green Bay packers are up the next get ready to
take it.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
You're good with it?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Yeah, man, of course I'm good because we hold the phone.
I'm gonna have Forest Gregg on the phone next. All
suddenly did the introduction blocker Tom Brown? No, he didn't
come to the two years later, so the.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
George parents Judge, Yeah, Judge parents ran George one arm Judge.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, I always have judges your friend, y'all, Judge parents said, and.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Yeah, we won't have one on.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
An assistant GM at that time was Bob Harlan, And
then I think my second year didn't Judge stepped down
and Bob took over for Judge parents.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
And then, of course you know that they brought Tom.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Broxay because for AST Greg was the g M and
head coach when I was there. Then they decided to
bring Tom Brox in to try to So what do
you do?

Speaker 4 (15:39):
You just got drafted that night you hung up? What
did you do? Did you like? What's the street y'all?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Going in Mifflin Street, State Street all that?

Speaker 5 (15:49):
No, none of that, just stayed.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
The celebrate order piece that's what's.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Order pieces and some beer. Yeah, that ladies up and
a little bit street. No, do nothing pet and beer
blazed up, jump off. No, I ain't doing nothing of
that man, you know, just glad to be drafted. There
weren't no parties needed to get to work.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
Who was your best friend, your rookie? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (16:14):
Who took you on your wing? What packer too?

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I would say, probably, And everybody gets us confused. Two guys, yes,
I love it, and Gary Ellis and those guys were
I was competing against those guys.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
It does make it up for a spot, It does
make it up.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
But them two guys right away took me on their wing. Yeah,
right away, showed me how it worked. Harlan Huckabee was
another guy. Showed me how it worked. You know just
where to be, where to go because you don't know
where to go.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
You know where the meeting rooms they were.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Now, I just want to know where I got my
check from?

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Right? Yeah, Well that were automatic you got automatic payment?

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Then back?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
What was it bank across the street first start? No,
was it first Star across the street? Right there, right
at the corners, green bank right there, policy.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Right across the street.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
I never saw.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
I got like a little check in the mailbox. But
it wasn't real.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, we didn't get the direct deposit.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
We directed posit nine. Yeah, oh no, it was right
in right across the street. Was that first start, that's
what it was. Yeah, so they had automatic checking that
first start.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
That's what boom done.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
What did your mom say when you're talking to your mom? Oh?

Speaker 5 (17:20):
She was happy you did good? Yeah, right, scratch.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
I want you to come home, I said, Well, I'm
stuck up here for another where I loan. They have
the falcon right, they come home, No time soon, come on,
no time soon. Man, this is it, and you know
when you're It was easy. And of course you know,
my good friend Kenny Steeles didn't get drafted in the
eighth round around around after me. So then you know,

(17:49):
I had someone who I knew. Randy Wright, which was
my quarterback in college, had been drafted by the Packers
a year earlier, so he was so he was already
there when we went up there.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
We had you know, we knew some guys play blah
blah blah.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Lyn Dicken was.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Dick was the starting quartering.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Any platform Lynn Dicky flat Lyn Dickie to me is
the reason why I love him.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Yeah, all these quarterbacks are a little off putting.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
They are, but not lying pulaying down to earth.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
I mean, he got that nice hair, you got a tall,
bow legged look. And then when he talks, it's just
so refreshing. And the quarterbacks sometime their hit scratch it.

Speaker 5 (18:34):
Yeah, they can be.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Yeah, they can't be like that.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
They can be.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Well, I don't know what they're gonna get at twenty three.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
But.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Well I'm with you though, Let's let's twenty three. Yeah,
you're gonna get a starter at twenty three. It'll be
a development most likely not.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
So you've been saying this, and they're gonna do it
in the picks, Okay, but you've been saying this all along.
Trade out of that package, Dad, go go get you
Miles Garrett, Mats Crosby and them. Hey man, them guys

(19:19):
gonna play like right now, Josh wet them get from Philadelphia, right, Yeah,
they're gonna play right now.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
They may franchise him though, I don't know. I don't know,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
Ye.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Well, they got a lot of guys over there too
where they think they don't may not need to have
them because the one guy Nikobe Dean he ain't even
play from George and they can't let him. He ain't
he gonna get paid. They ain't leting them money. But
they got a lot of jokes. They got a lot
of ers over, but you gotta know how to use them.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
Though.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yes, you can't just go get Zach Bond, but he's
gonna be worth too much money. He is because you
can't do both.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
I thought you, I'm trying to meet him. You don't know.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
No people get him on.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Man. I just want to tell him to his face,
Zach Bond to me, if I had an MVP vote,
it would have went for him, not just Defense. I'm
saying the entire league. God was amazing. He was the
reason why I think selfishly defense winning championships. I mean,
you could sprinkle in Cooper Dijon if you want to,

(20:21):
but Zach Bond is.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
What every team needs if you're gonna win a Super Bowl. Right.
That was amazing.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Man.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
Who's he from?

Speaker 5 (20:32):
He is from Brown Dear High School. Brown Dear High School,
right yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Brown Din High School. All everything in Brown play, quarterback, play,
running back, defense. He did everything in Brown Jack.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Please come on the show.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Yeah, yeah, he did everything.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
I've been I've been telling talk about him from day one.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Yeah, yeah, this guy is did not have a bad
game all year. So somebody gonna want to want that
twenty thirty pick. That's rebuilding, That's what I'm saying, Roy,
we need I think we need guys now. Yes, now
the last two draft, they're gonna get older. That's your group,

(21:08):
that's your win behind you. Now you got to build
a sell for them to push behind.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
And it's gonna be a team.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Called for muskrat Well, yeah, I'm fine with that craft
your started.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
Yeah, I don't know what you're gonna get from for
monscrew a pick.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
It gotta be something with it, not by itself. Yeah,
I don't know what you're If it's by itself, I
ain't doing right. But they may say, you know, I
need one of them tackles or the twenty third pick right,
and then you can get Garrett Wilson needs to be
out of there, the Jets, the Jests, just the morning
more I think about the Jets.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
I'm on Aaron Rodger's side. Man, I don't like the
way he did he rod Man, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
I'm good here here, starting to get under my skin.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
Go ahead, Mario said, again, here we go.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
I don't like what they did you.

Speaker 8 (21:58):
I'll buck it up.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
But a cup you wanna give in the water. Think
the water's back, you think the waters they did him.
You're carrying the water for again now. But right is right?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Wrong is wrong again?

Speaker 8 (22:08):
You got kicked out just a week ago. Man, Yeah,
all right, man, No.

Speaker 7 (22:13):
Man, they said all this stuff behind the man bag
said in his face.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
They set out list. Don't do this, don't do this,
don't do this.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Okay, I won't do none of that.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Okay, we still don't want you.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
I just heard Aaron Glen gonna get that smoke, cause
they ain't bad luck on that team fourteen years.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Where it's gonna they ain't next year. They're gonna take
my water. Redo whatever they did.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Well, let us get Garrett Wilson, get him out of Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Well you're gonna have to pay up for him. And
that's more than twenty three what you want? I said,
I think Garrett Wilson they wanted like a top five,
at least the top two.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
You don't have the top five.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
That's what you're gonna give up for him. You're gonna
have to give a lot for him.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
You gotta get him into a quarterback who's gotta learn
get together.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
You're gonna ruin the guys career. Trade them over to
the cover of things. I want to get to real
quick when and we seem like we talk about it
every week, but it ain't. We're gonna have to talk
about until it happens. And because Gyre Alexander and the
Gyre Alexander is the top of everybody mind all.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
The time, what to do with them? Yeah, can they
make it work? If not, what would you take back
for him? No less than or what?

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Well, if it was me, I'm gonna restructure his contract
and I'm gonna set him down and tell him that's
what we're gonna do and see if we can come
up with something that's compatible to a base salary. And
every week that you're healthy, you get a half a

(23:53):
million dollars, So now you can probably get back up
to seventeen eighteen million dollars. And it's almost like a
prove a contract within a contract. Now, this agent gonna
be like, kicks, we ain't doing that absolutely.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
Now, why would you do that? Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (24:08):
I mean you were in the prime of.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Your career and the agent worked for you, by the way,
But if the agent could convince you to do that,
then they're gonna release him and they'll save the six
and a half million and you get to go out
in that market.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
The same thing the Rams told their quarterback. Can you
believe that?

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Go out there and shop and circle back staff. Yeah,
go out there. The same thing happened to Uh Saquon Barkley.
Go out there and see what you can get and
come back saque so much class, Yes, sir, I appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
When he hung the phone up, he was gone. He
was never Yeah, he was gone.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
So I think that, uh, maybe another couple of weeks,
maybe a week maybe after the combine. They got to
figure out, can we save that money and release him
because it's no more guaranteed money, or let's try to
work together and do an incentive laden deal because they've
always paid him a lot of money, right, and you

(25:10):
bet on yourself and will pretty much protect you. And
when you available, we're gonna pay you, right because if
we all agree, when he's healthy, he's one of the best.
So we're gonna pay you. When you're healthy. You get
paid now. The money they're giving you previous to this,
it shows they got a commitment because they made him,

(25:30):
at one point the highest corner paid in the in
the league.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
And that's the business side of it.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
But that's when you and your agent got to say,
well what do you think because it's almost like a reset.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
You go somewhere else, you start all over again.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
And history is proven that going to another team sometimes
don't always go well. It don't always be like say Kumbardi, no, no,
he laid on his feet. Sometimes it's like DeVante yeahs
team yeah, searching, Yeah, you're just trying to find out
what's the search fit.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
So that's why I restructured three times because I wanted
to stay here because I thought this fan base.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
I ain't giving up this fan base, and I want
the fans.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
You know, it ain't about the money. It's about afterwards,
your legacy. Your legacy is I'm better on myself because
if I'm up playing up the park where I know
I can play, I'm gonna get paid.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
But sometimes that little voice say, man, I ain't make
some more right, and then you like my nephew, uh,
Aaron Jones, that's not Sometimes it ain't your fault the.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Team right, Well, just kind of they want to move
I want to move on, and then you got to
move on, and you gotta move on, go find it somewhere.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
So I think the best place for Aaron Jones to
me would be the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
It was that last year should have been the best
place for him last year too much like right, But
Jared Jones didn't want to do that.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
He got a magnificent agent though. Yeah, he got one
of the best agents. Do that ever so and but
you gotta have the agent say, these agents know everybody again?

Speaker 5 (27:11):
Yeah, lockdamn.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
They called each other on tell.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
As soon as they hang up, they call Adam Schefter,
that chef to get everybody. Boy, if you want to
know any break your news man. They got those man.
But Aaron Jones should be in Dallas. So when they
missed out on him, King Henry.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, I said, man, right, Henry, he wants to go there.
How good that would have been with running back like that?

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Right? Oh my god, they wouldn't have been good though.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
You have messed it up.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
There. You know, you never know when you get your
blessings right when Roy he got his blessing to go
where he was supposed to go. Yeah, where he's supposed
to go Candace City to be a good spot for
ar Jones.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
It would be it would be damn good spot for
him because he catch it and he can running.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
They don't have that out of the backfield.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
Uh roy uh.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
And we haven't talked a lot of Bucks, but there's
a lot of Bucks news going on. They had the
Chris Middleton trade. Chris been here forever. It seems like
the beginning of time.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
That's still hot, right, I mean when you look at Middleton,
Drew Holiday, I mean this team is is changing a
little bit right in front of your face.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
And I like Kyle Couzman.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah, A big fan of you you are.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
I like, I thought it was a good trade. I
like Kyle cous right because he's gonna play every night,
ain't right?

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Shoot?

Speaker 5 (28:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
I mean no problems, Yeah, good Side do a lot
with him on the court.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
Yeah, problems.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
We got the life skin. Yeah. People gonna try him.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
They're gonna try your God, you guys stand up for
yourself and just it could shoot free.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
Throw, yeah, everything else a good one.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
He can probably fit off five spot.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah, that's a good move. I hate to see Chris Lee,
but I think that was a good move. Yeah, but
does that get them where they need to go?

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Well, when Bobby get back after the twenty five games,
Now that was a head scratched.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
That's a real head scratcher for me.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
Maybe I misread so many questions. Yeah, right, that it's misreaded.
How much the misread it because it's oh you can't
us read it.

Speaker 8 (29:36):
You're an answer.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
You have to know if somebody gave him some medicine, right,
it comes from I don't know what.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
I'm just staying from when we played. It comes from
the team doctor.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
Now they say team though they said his boy, right,
I don't.

Speaker 9 (29:51):
Know what's assistant assistant his assistant, not the whole team,
the team.

Speaker 5 (29:57):
That's not the team Assistant's.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Sorry that the system immediately about it because and then
they say they gave him traumadol.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
You go ahead, is it what you got?

Speaker 10 (30:07):
It says in the article that the assistant was prescribed
that and he mistaken it for the legal one.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
It was called trump trauma traumadol.

Speaker 5 (30:19):
Do there's two of them. There's turn doll traumadol.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
I think it was tord tow it doll boy.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
That's the anti clamatory that takes you gonna hope your
lungs up and you don't get no sort and you
can run all day long.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, like you know from experience where you sound like
all back where you talking about it's like your law
just opened up just talking about.

Speaker 7 (30:46):
Leslie God trying to beat the system and probably been
tow off the anti flammatory.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Open you up a little bit and run a little
bit more and do things not traumadol as a lower
level of painkilling. Yeah, I think gotta get shoot up
in the second quarter with pay and killer that came
be in.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
But here's the thing though, the union I don't know
about that.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
But the union can't get involved in.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Other You know, in the CBA, they protect you.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
If you get caught with something, you don't get suspended No.
Twenty five and you go into the program. Yeah, don't
nobody even know you're still playing now if you get
caught again, oh boy, I don't know their league.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
This ain't a one off. And then you get.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
If it's if it's allegedly if it's an assistant that
are not affiliated with the Milwaukee Bucks, I don't know
who he can go after.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Yeah, what do you mean? Because if the Milwaukee ain't
going after nobody. I'm just saying to you.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
They just take to get it reduced, or to get
it reduced, to appill it or to make it go away.
So if it was the team, you can go back.
Says I got that pillage. Yeah, I got that from
the Milwaukee Bucks team dot.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
They gave me that.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
So they screwed it up. But in this case, it's
just an assistant. Who you who you where the Bucks
stopped his assistance? His assistance is he That's what he says,
his assistant, not the two team, not the Bucks, right,
I believe it. It's assistant.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
Yeah, See, so you're gonna know your guy.

Speaker 8 (32:25):
You're not gonna know you got because you're circle.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
You're in my circle. Boat.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Your assistant ain't gonna give you none to mess up
the bag supposed because the bag is this bag.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
Right, the bag got right protected. Let me hold something? Yeah, yeah,
twenty five eight lot of money? I said seven, No pay,
bag man, no pay? Did he appeal it?

Speaker 10 (32:46):
You know?

Speaker 4 (32:48):
See here's kind knew. Yeah, if you appeal it, they're
gonna pisstest you every fifteen minutes that you just take
that take the hell they leave you alone. Leave you alone.
I'll just sit on the right and come back four.

Speaker 8 (33:04):
Games ago and take these twenty five games right quick.
Don't you have like a like a list of what
you can and can't take?

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Read that, players don't All the white people do jump.
Black people don't do that. We just take the scientist
does looking at the labels the list. They do get
your list, but we don't look That is not the
same stuff.

Speaker 5 (33:27):
And belonging players don't look at the list.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
Everything in the list is the blog beloaded.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
We should look at the list, but players don't.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
You give the list to your agent. This is your agent, know.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Hell, Jeff asked me, what's send the brute forty two?

Speaker 4 (33:51):
So barnim boris dunk the bruteport two of it?

Speaker 5 (33:55):
Sorry, twenty the list?

Speaker 4 (33:58):
You mel k, Jeff?

Speaker 5 (34:00):
What do you think?

Speaker 9 (34:01):
I tell you, it's all I know. It tastes you,
just Jeval. I know it tastes good. You you my sister, you,
my sister, Jeff. All I know is tastes good. You
said drake, taste good, said drink.

Speaker 8 (34:15):
You're okay, It's fine, I'm okay. Guess all I know.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
Is that same thing with but he not with Walker.
He's the owner. You think Lee Lee Walk, and I
know you know, we think. What do you know? Glue free?
That's the first thing you ever told me coin, the
first thing you told me link back when you said, wait,
I don't know what's in three sheeps either, but I
know people drink it.

Speaker 8 (34:39):
Are you saying that five he was drinking his vodka?

Speaker 5 (34:42):
I don't know. I'm just if he was, we'll pay
for it for it.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Boy, you come back, man, Bobby needs to come back.
And they gonna the Buff's gonna try to win anything comes.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
Yeah, Boston look real good, don't Boston. They're gonna probably
win it.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
They look real good.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Boston win it again. It's just because they only gonna
get better, man. But I don't know.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
But Luca last night.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Though, Yeah, you know they're gonna play the Lakers.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
I've been a Laker fast as I was like seven
years old.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Love Lakers. But I just don't know if we got
the bench. When you play a series like that, you
got somebody death. Yeah, I don't know we got that.
But I just hope Bobby get that cleared up, man,
because you don't get out of nowhere.

Speaker 5 (35:34):
You did, You're gonna need him. Man, You're gonna need
real bad. Uh. I see you you was Did you
do something up in Green Bay?

Speaker 8 (35:46):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (35:47):
Yeah, we have Metro Market up there. We was at
the metro Market of Nobody Access.

Speaker 5 (35:51):
Yeah, what was doing?

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Employee appreciation tour. I did like seven stores between Green
Bay and Milwaukee, and just to tell the people, the cashiers,
the people, all the employees and how much we love
and respect them.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
I gave them my new recipe, A new recipe car.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
That's what is uh lays impossible?

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Whoa Alfredo song?

Speaker 5 (36:22):
I know you ain't come up with that. That's that's
too smart for you.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
Not impossible, impossible that.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I do have an illustrator, Jackie, because I like to
dictate some of these recipes. Actually, Chef David from the
Chef's Table, I got a lot of ideas from him. Yeah,
that guy's a made. But you talking about the recipe,
it is like Jeff with the Hobs, and you got

(37:05):
to make sure it tastes amazing. But we went to
these stores and we was at the Metro Market downtown Milwaukee,
and we had some of the artists.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Because we did HBCU night at the Bucks game shout
out to the bucks Man. The Bucks I love y'all man.
What they did for Jack and Jill is a nonprofit
and they gave these kids amazing seats and a tour.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
Uh Boss, he let them go down.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
I saw way uh d Wade Locker was in there
and Marquette plays that shock was my guy. Shout out
to Marquette, and these kids never really been in the
locker room room and walking around and on the I

(38:04):
like the sixth level. They had some for HBCU. They
had some of the African American art that you can buy.
And Pamela was one of the young ladies that we
featured at Metro Market downtown.

Speaker 4 (38:20):
So that made me.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Feel good good because I like buying black owned stuff
and I like family stuff. That's why instead of like
going to certain places, I like going to Like even
when you brought Tiszalo, when I knew it was a family,
I was dead man speaking of that kind of family history.

Speaker 10 (38:41):
Appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
Speaking of family, Jeff, what you guys anything, Yeah, what's
tired going on? Last year?

Speaker 10 (38:48):
Yeah, we had a birthday party and then there's the
beer museum downstairs. They had the German American like they
have a group of just people like it together and
they like talking about the German brewing his tree and
the big time.

Speaker 5 (39:01):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 8 (39:02):
So they came up by us and hung out for
a bit.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
That was a lot of fun.

Speaker 8 (39:07):
And then you have birthday party at night.

Speaker 10 (39:08):
And then this week Gilbert Brown is doing he has
a fundraiser with Charlie Barns up and I believe it's
pronounced tell you Ryan, tell you Ryan Madison. So they're
doing a big fundraiser up there for mental health and substance.

Speaker 4 (39:27):
Man, if you don't know, Charlie bed Man, the funniest
guy in the world.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Great story.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
They're gonna make a lot of money on here. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (39:34):
Yeah, here's a lot of fun to hang out with you.
It's a pretty good guy, so should be a good time.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
You just don't ask him nothing about me. You'll be fine.
I don't believe it.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
So that's great.

Speaker 8 (39:45):
So he's gonna have his beer there, so bringing the
beer up for him.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
Okay, you better have a lot of it in that area.
They're drinking a lot. Are you gonna take something Gay's bear?

Speaker 8 (39:54):
Yeah, I don't know. I have to have to get approved.

Speaker 5 (39:56):
Well you know, we got it.

Speaker 8 (39:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't want to, don't want to shovel?

Speaker 4 (40:03):

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
