Speaker 1 (00:00):
I've got some awesome updates from the Tokyo team. This
is their wallet here. They've got so many cool features
with NFTs and training directly within the wallet itself, and
these updates take it to the next level. Let's get
into it. Hey, I'm Peter buy. If it's your first
time here, hit that thumbs up subscribe notification bell. I'll
keep you guys up to date with everything that's happening

(00:22):
in the Cadano space. And this is really good update.
Let's get through them here now. The first one here
is this Android update. Then they have put in bitcoin support.
There's a lot of talk about bitcoin introroperability at the moment,
and they have they're making this possible within their application too.
And then also the tokesale, they're token for the application too.

(00:44):
I'll talk a little bit about that and how you
can earn some of these tokens at the moment as well.
But let's have a look at this. So this is
a sneak peak of their Android application. So it's what
you expect what you see on the iOS device at
the moment. That all ported over for the Android Android device.
Now people may be thinking why that's taken so long

(01:07):
to develop the Android thing, and this is because it's
not a wrapped application. It is natively built on the
iOS device, so it uses a lot of the features
and security things that you'd find on iOS applications, so
it had to be rebuilt from scratch for the Android ecosystem.
So it's quite a bit different from other mobile wallets

(01:28):
that you might see because it is using a lot
of those native features within the iOS ecosystem as well.
So that's why they couldn't release both of the apps
at the same time. They have to work on two
different code bases to make this possible. So this is
a full rework to make all the features a parody
between the two mobile operating systems. So that's really good

(01:49):
to see and I can't wait for this one to
come out. I know a lot of people have been
asking for the Android version as well. So I'm an
iOS or user, so I've been using the wallet to
myself already, so I'm not too fussed about this, but
for the Android guys, it's coming now. This other update here,
this is around the BTC integration. This is allowing bitcoin

(02:12):
to be held on the wallet as well. So now
you're here you can see your Cadona assets and also
your bitcoin that you may have within the wallet too,
so you can use the same wallet and hold different
assets in there. Now this is the first step built
for interoperability and multi chain assets, so this is really
exciting to see. It just makes the wallet a lot

(02:33):
more versatile in regards to what you can do with it.
So good to see the team are thinking about this
and moving forward with it as well. Now you may
be interested in earning some of these top rewards within
their ecosystem too, So if you are an avid trader,
you can do the trades through the application, try it out,
see what you think, and in doing so, you earn

(02:54):
some of these top rewards from their tge So once
their token sale happens and they generate their tokens, you'll
be able to earn these tokens, will claim the tokens,
i should say, and then trade them within the ecosystem too,
So this is something that's pretty exciting. Encourages users to
start playing around with the application and also start trading

(03:14):
within the Candato space, so it's a nice way of
going about incentivizing users there. Now there is that whole
leaderboard aspect there, so the more you trade, the higher
you are on the leader board, and you can make
your leaderboard profile public or private. So it is off
and private by default, but you can make it public.
You can show off your trading ability and how good

(03:38):
you are essentially, so in doing so, you can turn
it on. You can earn the XP. But you can
also follow other wallets that are out there trading within
the ecosystem within the Tokyo app, and then you can
do similar trades as what they're doing, so you can
copycat trade within the application. So that's really good to see.
So if you find a really good trader out there,

(04:00):
you can copy their trades and hopefully follow their gains
or follow their losses even so, be careful there with that,
but you can copy what they're doing and hopefully get
some gains out of it. Now, if you're more passive
and you're not much of a trader, you can earn
some of their toke rewards by staking your AIDA to
their stakepool. Now this is non custodial. The AIDA always

(04:23):
remains in your wallet. You just delegate your wallet to
the particular pool and you be able to earn these rewards.
So depending on how much AILA you have delegated to
their pool, you be able to earn those toke rewards.
So you can look at the website here. This is
go maestro dot org, slash marketplace, slashboard two. This is

(04:44):
their pool here. This is all their data, I should say,
and you can have a look at their tokenomics, the
performance of the pool and everything else around it, so
you can find out exactly how and what you could
possibly earn. These are other state pools here. This is
the Tokyo ICPO. The Tiko is Toke. You can connect
your Kadano wallett from here and start earning those awards

(05:06):
straight away. It is a ninety nine percent margin pool,
which means you don't earn any eight of rewards. You
give up those eight awards so that you can earn
these toke toke tokens in exchange. Now, they do have
a bunch of partner pools here as well. Happy Expool,
aid OZ that's my stake pool, DAP Central, Kadano Paul

(05:27):
one and two, Tyler twenty one, Ada Clover Japan one
or one, Japan Fancy Granted, Aida Pool and x Pool two.
So you do have all of these options here. Now,
all of these are community run pools, and their margins
are different. So the first one here you can see
margin ninety nine. All the other ones here are one
three point seven percent, so it varies all over the

(05:48):
place here. But you can earn your eight awards and
then also earn the toke token as well. You just
won't earn as many. You earn a lot less because
you are still earning your eight awards, but you're still
earning some of these tokens in the process. So it's
a nice way of distributing the tokens out to the
community itself. So if you're interested in any of that,

(06:09):
do check it out. I'll put all the links down
below for you guys. And I want to do a
little bit of a giveaway here. Now. I do have
a lot of these NFTs in my wallets, and I
don't know if you can see that very clearly there,
but that is my Cadano Press NFT. I have a
lot of them in my wallet here. I was going
to give them away at a meetup a little bit

(06:31):
earlier this year, but I completely forgot to do it.
So in this case, I am going to give them
away in this video. I'll put a comment down below
with a link to it. A Twitter, Twitter post or
X post I should say, and then you can interact
with that X post in the comments and I'll work
out some mechanism there. But have a look at that

(06:52):
tweet and you'll be able to follow instructions to get
one of these NFTs. Here, you will have to download
the Tope wallet as well. Can experience what that whole
setup process is like with the Tokyo wallet. So that's
it for me. Guys. If you enjoyed this update around
Tokyo Wallet, get that thumbs up, subscribe notification bell, and
I'll see you in the next video.
