Speaker 1 (00:00):
News update from Token at twenty forty nine, A lot
has been happening in the Candana space around there. We've
got a lot of headlines from it, and I'll cover
as many as I can from Emergo's announcements, from an
Zen's and a few more as well. We also have
seen news from Midnight and then new Night Paper, this
fourth gen blockchain that's been built. I'll go over a
little bit of that as well, and I've got a
(00:21):
couple of news updates from various projects and builders in
the Kadana space. All that coming right up. I'm Peter Bwy.
If this is your first time, you know that, d'll
hit that subscribed button notification bell so you get kept
up to date with everything that's happened in the Kadana space.
I try and cover it all. There's a lot happening here,
and you know, I do miss some stuff, So if
there's something that you guys would like me to cover,
(00:43):
leave a comment down below, let me know what project
I need to look into, and I'll do a deep
dive video around it. Got a bit of time to
do these deep dive videos, so I'll go through as
many as I can. But let's get into these news updates.
These are absolutely awesome. Now, this first one here wasn't
from Token twenty forty nine, but I saw this and
I had to just at least announce it or get
(01:04):
you guys up to date with it. This is Kadana's
Foundation's education partnership with Petro bas. Petro Buss is that
massive petrochemical company over in Brazil, and they partner up
with the Kadana Foundation to a massive educational program for
their employees so that they can try and work out
(01:25):
what best ways they could incorporate blockchain tech into their company.
And they have started the process and this is really
really exciting to see. So this is one of their
Zoom calls. I think at Zoom, I can't tell these days.
This is one of their calls that they did, and
this is the first initial step for them to go
through and start educating them about blockchain, Kadana and what
(01:47):
it has to offer. So really good to see that
this is moving along. Petrobras is incorporating in some way here.
I don't know how exactly in the future, but they'll
come up with some really good innovative ideas, I'm sure
of it. Now, let's get in to the Token twenty
forty nine stuff and I saw this post I just
had to share it. This was I believe, a chartered
(02:08):
flight from the US, maybe over to Singapore. I don't
know where it is exactly, but this is probably my
worst nightmare, especially in a long haul flight, having to
fly over somewhere and having to listen to a massive
party that's happening on the plane at the same time.
I don't know if they allow this kind of stuff
on airlines, but this'd be absolutely saying. But what I
could gather from this it was a chartered flight, so
(02:31):
it was a private plane that was rented out by
everyone that was going to the event. So it maybe
in a small local flight. I don't know. I don't
know what airline it is either, but it's crazy to
see anyway. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it Token twenty forty nine.
I'm in this category here, not so much single, but
in the poor category, so I won't be going there.
(02:52):
But it did look like an absolutely amazing event. But
there are a lot of prominent people in the Cadina
space over there at the moment, so it'll be interesting
to see what kind of collaborations have come out of this. Now.
This is a really interesting post from Patrick and he says,
ten people told me today I'm the first person they've
ever spoken to who is building on Kadano. Now, I'm
(03:13):
really not surprised by this. This is something that the
Kardana community really needs to get out there and start
doing more of. We need to be at events. We
need to start paying for exhibition booths at Token twenty
forty nine in Dubai in Singapore. We need to look
into big events like here in Australia, Australian Crypto Convention
(03:33):
that needs to be represented with Kadano presencea as well.
And for many years it has not is the biggest
event here in Australia and there's absolutely nothing in the
Cadano space there. So this is things that we need
to get out of. I know, the Kndano's Summit is amazing,
it's big and it gains a lot of attention, but
it doesn't get to the people that are outside of
(03:56):
our bubble. And this is something that we need to
break and in front of other people, other ecosystems, other
builders and attract that interest in So marketing is definitely
something that we need to work on here and getting
out of our bubble. So this is good to see
that people are seeing now projects that are building within
the Kadana ecosystem, such as Ndmaker, But we need to
(04:18):
extend that further. We need to showcase all of our
projects that are building on Kadano and show them what
we are capable of outside of our bubble. This is
really critical at the moment. So Patrick, good on you
for building Ndmaker and taking it further than our ecosystem. Now,
this is one of the other projects that Patrick was
tweeting on about and I still haven't been able to
(04:39):
find deep information as to what they're doing. But Truvolvtech,
we're at this URWA Enterprise round table and they were
talking about to our WA's particularly for India. So I'll
have to dig into this one a little bit more
and I'll tell you what these guys are all on about.
But from what I underst stand, they are building it
(05:01):
at the government level in India. So this is definitely
a project to keep your eyes on in regards to
what they're trying to deliver in terms of RWAs and
what they have in India. So I'll keep you guys
up to date. If you know anything, leave a comment
down below for me. This was the other really big
announcement that came out of the event, and this is
Andsen's bring in roughly seven to ten million USD in
(05:24):
terms of liquidity onto the ecosystem on their launch. So
this is the seed liquidity that they'll be providing on
the launch of USDA. I did a video about this
on the channel as well, so check it out in
the top right hand corner there links there and you'll
be able to watch the breakdown and everything else that
I talked about. This particular seed liquidity for the USDA token.
(05:48):
So this is a stable coin. We need more stable coins,
we need more training. I absolutely love stable coins. I
think it's it's a really good use case within the
crypto space and being able to use it in stable
swat pools. Providing liquidity there I think is a very
low risk way of participating in DeFi. It's mainly because
(06:09):
when you provide liquity, you don't suffer from as much
in permanent loss. If you're providing stable coin assets such
as USDC and USDA or USDM, it's supposed to be
worth one to one USD, so it doesn't matter which
way the token goes, as long as you're earning those
protocol fees from whatever DeFi protocol you're providing liquidity on.
So I like that type of DeFi play. It's a
(06:31):
lot less lower risk because you don't have to worry
about the permanent loss when providing to an AMM liquidity pool.
So I can't wait for more of this liquidity to
come on. It just makes sense to me, especially needed
in the Cadano space. Do check out that video. I'll
put a link down below for you guys as well.
This other partnership here is with Zilka, and I thought
this one was interesting, is a partnership between them and Immergo.
(06:55):
So they are going to work together to bring in
interoperability between the two chains. Now, this is the press
release from this particular announcement, and I've just highlighted a
few things for you here. So the partnership extends beyond
interoperability between the two chains Cadana and Zilquod blockchain, but
will also include mutual collaboration on key things. One is
(07:18):
to enhance network interoperability, strengthen the economic security the interoperable
liquidity channels. So I'm assuming they're going to leverage USDA
on and off ranch with encryptus to try and bring
liquidity back and forth all over the place. Next is
to leverage Kadana related webprear technologies, stable coins, headless wallet
(07:38):
infrastructure to apply to the tokenized luxury assets of Zilqua.
So this is something that America really good at. They
have the stable coin USDA, and they have the wallet
that they've been using for years, and so many users
have Yuroi. So combining these two together and incorporating into
the tokenization of luxury assets on Zilqua is going to
(08:01):
be a really good thing. Maybe we'll see more of
the Kadana ecosystem taking advantage of what Zilqua have to offer,
and I'll show you what they have to offer in
a second. The other thing here is Kadana's distributed governance
by joining and participating in intersect community led events. So
they're going to maybe put it in a proposal or something.
I don't know, but let's have a look at what
(08:22):
Zilqua actually have, and this is what they have. This
is the Zilka thing. They mainly focus on the Web
three luxury brand, so this was quite big in the
ethereum space with decentraland and fashion brands and whatnot coming
into that space and people being able to buy luxury
(08:44):
three D assets, and it was gaining a lot of traction.
But Zilkqua here do this and actually work with those
brands and they look at the intellectual property rights of
that brand in the metaverse. So this is one of
the things that they do play with. The Zilko blockchain
has been around for quite a while, but it doesn't
rank very well in terms of its position on coin
(09:07):
market cap. You can see it here on CMC and
it is ranked one hundred and seventy four within the
rankings of all the different blockchains, even lower than Terror Luna.
So I don't know the amount of adoption this particular
token has, this particular blockchain has. I did have a
look further into the price history of the token itself.
(09:29):
If you go back far enough, it hasn't performed very
well in terms of token holders and users. It does
seem pretty good overall, So I don't know what else
Zilka are bringing into the deal the partnership here. Maybe
they actually do have a lot of connections with the
various luxury brands out there, to open up the minting
(09:50):
and intellectual property rights of these brand deals onto the
blockchain with Amergo, so that is one of the details.
I would love to know a little bit more more
about what each party is delivering to the table here.
I did have a look at their metaverse and everything
else that they have, so this is the Metaminds group.
It does look quite nice, quite interesting. They've got the
(10:11):
augmented reality VIR experiences with their metaverse, so overall it
could be a very interesting product. I can't see any
way to get to access to this quite yet. I
don't know if it's launched. I can't see anything tangible
from it at the moment either. If you do jump
into their YouTube channel, they do talk about IP rights
(10:32):
and impacting luxury brands and other things around how the
fashion world could take advantage of metaverse experiences. So it
is definitely a good tech and a move in the
right direction. I just want to be able to see
this as a tangible product I could use myself. The
other product that they do have here is token tracks now.
(10:53):
Token tracks is a music web three music marketplace that
they have and actually have some artists that I do recognize.
Josh Savage here is on so many Web three spaces,
it's insane, and I do see his stuff here. This
is one of his releases on the platform, particularly here
on releases, you can explore the particular collection that he
(11:14):
has and you're able to mint this one. This one's
minted on Polygon, so you can mint this one here
and experience his Web three release of music on blockchain.
So good to see that there. So there is definitely
some usage and adoption and a release product in that case.
But Zilkwa is definitely something I'll keep an eye on
and see what these guys are delivering for at the
(11:35):
Cadano space as well. If you have any pinions about this,
I'd love to hear from you as well, leave a
comment down below let me know what you guys think
about this particular partnership. Now, the other big thing that
came out of Tokeun twenty forty nine is the release
and updates around the Midnight Network. So Midnight is the
privacy chain that ig are developing at the moment, supposed
(11:57):
to be like an evolution of what Kadano has to offer.
But this is some of the new updates that are
coming out of the Midnight's Midnight team at the moment.
The first thing is the white paper or the night Paper,
I should say. This is a new night paper that
talks through everything that they have to offer and how
it's all going to work. There are some interesting aspects
(12:19):
around it if you are interested. I'll put the links
down below here to download the white paper, but you
can get to it at Midnight dot network slash white Paper,
download it as a pdf. This is a pdf here.
It's not very lengthy and it is very readable. It's
about sixteen pages long, and there's some interesting aspects around this.
And some other Kadano community members have pointed this out.
(12:41):
Now feel here from Anastasia Labs. He mentions this, let
me read this out for the audio listeners. You guys
have absolutely no idea how many people this will onboard
onto Cardano. Night is launching as a Cadano native token.
This easily has the potential to drive more traffic to
the chain than the combined volume of every single DAP
(13:02):
that has launched since Alonzo's that's when smart contracts came
to play. So this is a very interesting opinion here.
So essentially, from what I understand, the night this is
the brand new token that's going to be released within
the Midnight blockchain. But this is the token here, This
is the token utility here, So let me just read
this for the audio listeners. Like other blockchain ecosystems, Midnight's
(13:26):
tokens primarily secures its networks. It helps ensure uptight and
allows a network to be self sustaining. Most blockchains require
a fee commonly called gas or fuel to process or
prioritize transactions. This tokenized energy is often reallocated to the
network operators as rewards. This fuel is usually an unshielded token,
(13:46):
which exposes transaction details and users identities. Blockchains that elect
to use shielded fuel to protect metadata struggle to have
such tokens listed due to regulatory concerns. This reduces block
reward liquidity, which deters ecosystem participation and lessens the network security.
So I think Minaro had an issue like this. Midnight
(14:09):
innovates by using two tokenized assets working together. Night the
unshielded token for governance, consensus participation and block production rewards,
and Dust, a capacity access shielded resource that operates the
chain activity. The fuel. So if you're moving assets and
you don't want people to see what's going on. You
would use dust, which is the shielded asset, the privacy
(14:32):
asset through the network. So we have the two tokens there,
one for the operation of the network and two DUST
for the privacy transactions. So that's an interesting new development
that has come out of that. And furthermore, that is
a Kadano native token, so this is where we're seeing
the link between the two chains. We're seeing that Midnight
(14:56):
is using the Kiddano token to help fuel its ecosystem
in terms of governance and operator fees into sustainability. So
that's really good to see because it's tapping into the
Cadano network that way. So this was the good news
for sbos, the statepool operators. They will be able to
leverage their hardware becoming validators for Midnight and get Night rewards.
(15:20):
So this is super exciting. There's a lot of staatepool
operators on the Kadana ecosystem that don't earn any rewards
or are running at bare minimum and just breaking even
because of the price of AIDA and the amount of
statepools are actually mint blocks. So a lot of operators
have been running batches to help decentralize other decentralized apps
(15:44):
on the Kadano space or running other bot scripts to
try and generate some more revenue. So this now here
allows some more of these operators to use their existing
infrastructure to run the midnight block validators, and that's another
sort revenue that staatepool operators can obtain and get to
get funds from. So this is really exciting. I am
(16:07):
a stakepool operator myself, so hearing stuff like this, and
it sounds like a very minimal amount of work that
is required to get a midnight stakepool operational and functional
using existing hardware, So that's really cool. It's also a
really good thing for Midnight because it's actually leveraging the
existing operated network, a very good and very decentralized one,
(16:29):
so they can fire up their blockchain very quickly. So
I'm very interested in that myself, and earning some of
these night awards could be very profitable indeed, so interesting
aspects coming out of Midnight at the moment. Please do
check out the white paper links down below for you guys.
Now onto some other news updates from the Cadina space.
This one here is a UI sneak peek from Twin
(16:53):
Twin are bringing real world assets in terms of tokenized
gold to the Condina ecosystem, and we are seeing the
twin gold tokens here. This is their dashboard in general.
It is looking quite nice and they've incorporated quite a
few nice, really good features overall here. So I will
put links to that down below so you can watch
(17:13):
this video here about what they're trying to deliver, what
they're going to bring into the Kidano space. Token ize gold.
I can't wait ur w ways. I think is the
perfect use case for crypto at the moment, So do
check that one out. Twino doing some really cool things.
Can't wait for them to actually announce how they're going
(17:33):
to do all this as well. There's a lot of
regulatory things. There's the gold holder, the company that holds
the gold for them, so US as users can purchase
the gold. There's a lot of things in this so
I can't wait for them to actually announce these things. Now.
This is something I just wanted to highlight. This is
from Dave Ada, and he's pretty cool. He's pretty cool.
(17:55):
He's building something really nice here. This is a virtual
virtual simulation of all the relays out there or statepools
out there, and you can see how they're transacting and
submitting transactions to each other, where blocks are going. And
this is a really nice visualization to see the decentralized
(18:16):
Candano network around the world where all the state pools
are based on GeoIP locations, at how the transactions are
being submitted around the world from each one of the pools.
So very nice work there, Dave. I can't wait to
see the final release of that. This other news item here,
this was I think a really cool use case as well.
(18:37):
And this is tap dono tags and the Tiago here
is a stapool operator and Kadana ambassad he has made
these little tags here. You can tap these tags and
they are connected with an NFC chip and have the
NFT that is sold bound to the person that has
minted on chain. So this is over a really cool
(18:57):
use case of blockchain n and NFC chips, so an
amalgamation of tech here. They're already in talks with various
projects for authentication of merchandise, proof of attendance and other
products like that. I've got a let me justs you
this all right, This is a Kadano summit, not a
(19:20):
Kadano summit, a Kadano hoodie. This is from the Kadano Foundation,
and where is it? This has one of these type
of NFC tags on it. This here, that's the NFC tag.
If you tap your phone to this or open up
the NFT that is related to this particular hoodie to
prove that it has been purchased by myself. And it's
(19:42):
an authentic thing, so it's got a unique policy ID
and it's linked to that particular collection. So this is
one of like a thousand or so hoodies or something
like that, and that's how you can prove and authenticated
it because it has that NFC chip built into the
hoodie itself. It's a washproof, it's you know, all all
that stuff, so you don't have to worry about it
(20:04):
falling apart. But it's a really cool use case and
you can see it being used in all sorts of
other industries as well. So Thiago, good on you for
it developing this further and creating these tags. I'm assuming
you're using it for a proof of attendance within various
meetups and whatever. So I think it's a really cool
use case. Really good to see guys. So in terms
(20:26):
of governance, now, we've got some good numbers here, so
governance is progressing. We are over that one point two
percent of circulating supply now being action in governance. Maybe
it's abstain no confidence or delegate to a de rep
or a de rep themselves. So we're seeing more and
more of that ADA coming on chain and participating in governance,
which is absolutely awesome. Here these are the live stats.
(20:48):
We have four hundred and thirteen de reps with almost
six thousand delegates, so that's really good. That's a really
good start. And we have a live staked eight at
four hundred and ninety million, so that's really good to see.
We also have one other big thing here, and this
is another governance action that has been put on chain.
(21:08):
This is an info action, so you can see it here.
It's all in different language. I believe it's Japanese with
the word the iki guy, so that does sound Japanese
to me. I do have to do a translation here
to find out what's going on with this one. Here,
we have a few people already voting with sbos voting yes,
and this is quite a bit of Aida that's being
(21:29):
voted through. So this is eighty two million. Eight are
already voted yes by four sbos. So this might be
the sakepold operators in Japan. I know there's a lot
of big ones there, so this this might be something
that they're just trying to move through as a something
for in the Japanese ecosystem. Now, this is an info action,
(21:49):
so it doesn't actually trigger any on chain governance in
terms of treasury withdrawals or anything like that. We haven't
gone to that point yet. After Chain hard four two
we will see treasury withdrawals, so we have to translate
this and see what they're all on about. But we
have two governance actions on chain now, so do check
that out. If you are a d rep, you start
to have to do some work now. Now, in terms
(22:10):
of work, I have to just do a bit of
a shout out here for the Marketing working Group and
they have been doing a massive amount of work on
the budget for Cadano's marketing next year, and this is
the V one of the budget. As it is, this
is what it's looking like. I won't go through it
in detail here, but you can find the links to
(22:32):
It's on link tree, so it's link tree slash Intersect
Underscore Marketing underscored WG for working group links down below
for you guys. If you want to go further into
this one here, remember this is version one. This is
a draft. This isn't the final. This will be put
for community feedback before it goes on chain. So this
(22:54):
is when you can read over and say, hey, I
think there's some things that need to be added, or
maybe we can remove this or adjust the budget for
this might be a little bit better. Of course, you
have to give some alternatives and some options with those
budgets whatever you're recommending. So if you say no, I
don't like this, tell them why and give them an alternative.
Work collaboratively here, guys. Okay, it's how things are done.
(23:17):
Now we've got community governance. All right. That's all I
have for you guys for this one. I do actually
have quite a few more tabs open here for Tokyo
Wallet and Vesper as well, but I'll keep them for
the next video. I've gone on long enough for this one.
But if you want to hear those ones, you know
what to do here that thumbs up to subscribe notification
bell be kept up to date with all this stuff
(23:38):
and all these other bits of videos of content and
everything else I'm creating for the space I'll see in
the next video.
