Ludivine, a curious dog from Elkmont, Alabama, leaves the house one morning. She sees a group of runners and stops. It’s the start of the half marathon. Suddenly the race begins – and Ludivine runs along. On the way, she takes breaks: she sniffs a rabbit and looks at cows. Nevertheless, she continues to run. After 13.1 miles she reaches the finish line and comes in seventh. Everyone is surprised and enthusiastic. The spectators cheer. Ludivine becomes the heroine of the day, and the race is later called “Hound Dog Half.” Maybe you too can accomplish something unexpected. When others see your energy, they will cheer you on – just like Ludivine.
