(00:02):
Your listening to Legends Library. Nowhere's your host. He's a mountaineer and
Kyle Rawlins. Hi everybody. I'mLisa and I'm Kyle, and my name
(00:25):
is Crinthia, and you're watching LegendsLibrary. We are our podcast dedicated to
the Legends line of the Star Warsbooks, and today we've got a bit
of a fun episode. It's notquite as what we had played, but
we're just gonna talk about what welove about Star Wars with our excellent guest,
Corinthia. She is the host controllerof the Turtle Sith Empire, the
(00:48):
Facebook group, and you know she'sa big fan of Legends, so we
thought we'd have her own today. So if Corinthia, if you could tell
us a little about what you wereup to and how to find you as
well. Sure. So my nameis Printhia Um. As Lisa said,
I run the Facebook group called theTurtlesith Empire. We are also called the
(01:12):
Final Sith Order on Facebook um andwe also have a dedicated forum online.
It's mainly a fan club and roleplaying group and are like our sandboxes of
a couple of hundred years after theend of Legacy era in Legends, and
(01:33):
we just do all kinds of funrole playing and story writing and it's it's
been a fun group for a coupleof decades and it's just fun. So
yeah, a couple of decades. That's awesome, he said, decades.
Yeah. Yeah. We were foundedoriginally in two thousand and three, so
(01:55):
yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's great. We still
have our original founding members are members, so it's great. Yeah. Serious
from way, your Attack of theClones Crew is still your Attack of the
Clones Crew. That wow. CoYeah, it's great. Just means we've
(02:22):
got apparently got some kind of stickingpower. So yeah, we love it.
What's the kind of the stuff you'vebeen writing about on there? So
we're obviously given the title we're aSIF fan club, so we focus a
lot on um, you know, revisiting and bringing into like our quote unquote
(02:46):
modern day, um, a wholebunch of uh you know, legends uh
SIF more like um, especially thingsthat pertain to like the Eternal Empire.
Ricotta, like I'm blanking all thatone second that's always forced you to get
(03:08):
up. Oh no worry. She'slike, do you want to see Mike?
But no, thank you. TheInternet's like yes, you got the
marker, Lisa, No, ohno, I'm just gonna keep recording one
(03:32):
moment, are you really? Oh? Scrit All right, let's go.
It's just one of those episodes changeits post. I mean, now now
I'm gonna like we're entering are like, no, no, no, Lisa,
(03:52):
We're gonna continue right here right becausethis is the moment that like we
enter that Howards during level of likeLegends Library. We're just gonna roll with
it. I'm sure like laughing rightnow, you know what I mean.
It's I was gonna say, maybeyou've got the setup for Haward Stern,
but you know, I gripped LegendsLibrary. This is a very unscripted episode.
(04:15):
I heard the listeners who are tuningin and now not tuning in at
this point, but that's truely.Yeah, Like some of the stuff I've
been reading about recently was like I'vebeen doing lots of you know, going
in tuning in about like obviously wewere going to do a Women of Legends
episode again, and I didn't realizehow much Abel Peta first of all,
(04:41):
had to do with naming of Sith, like he was the one responsible for
Darsanta's name, which is pretty coolas well as Dark Millennial and a couple
other ones like that, So Ithought that was pretty neat. His name
was just a time favorite. Yeah, thank you, Able, Yeah yeah,
(05:02):
and yeah, um, in factfulto like able opinion, we refer
to his works a lot in ourin our group as well as we love
his stuff. So yes, yes, way back at this point, Yeah,
yeah, I remember launching the discordand being like thrilled that you were
(05:25):
going to be one of the modsand like, yeah, all right,
cool. I was thrilled to beasked by Joe because you know, I
only know him through the other editor, Edwards, so it was kind of
a big honor that like I gotto, you know, be a bigger
part of Supernatural Encounters and everything that'shappening in the know Asian Stith arena there.
(05:46):
So that's really fun. You werereally recommended, and um, I
think we were still doing before Discord, we were doing Facebook Messenger and it's
just like all right, mod talk, I'm pretty sure you were and from
that, so yeah, again forthose like tuning in like's it's kind of
the first meet and greet that we'vehad on video for quite some time.
(06:09):
So it's it's kind of nice sinceour um our previous work that we were
doing the way. I'm going toleave it up to the ladies here if
they want to discuss that further.Yeah, but it's good to have Corinthia
join us a lot more on somethinga lot more positive than we were all
working on before. Yeah. Ithink that's a nice way to leave it.
(06:30):
Yeah, right, exactly, twoladies, how much wine have you
drink today? Top number two?If you see me leave for number three,
then you know that you should probablystop the show. So, Crinthia,
I wanted to ask what was yourfirst kind of moment getting into Star
(06:53):
Wars? You know, the typicalStar Wars question, what are you interested?
So I yeah, yeah, lookat me. So I kind of
always grew up with Star Wars.My dad was a huge fan, so
it was always like just like around, Like I remember playing the og Battlefront
games and watching the prequels with himgrowing up. But it was never like
(07:13):
something I was a huge fan of. It was just kind of like existed
in my space, and it wasn'tuntil the sequel trilogy. Actually, I
saw Force Awakens in theaters and waslike, this is amazing. I need
more and I found Legends and thatwas the end of the story. Really,
so I got sucked into you know, um like Throng Trilogy, Dark
(07:38):
Fan Trilogy, all these like awesomeyou know, whether like the quintessential Legends
works for people who are new andit was just a downward spiral and here
I am now welcome to the darkside. Yeah yeah, you know what
(07:59):
you know are people may not eat, but we have hardcovers. Yeah.
Yeah. I think it's it's nicewhen like parents get you into it,
or like at least they still kindof give you things, like I just
want to show you something. Mymom's the other day she was like,
(08:20):
look, I got you treat andthen like put it on my chair in
my office and it was a Forceof Wagons Wagons Life Saber book and I
was like, thanks, mom,oh cool Post of Legends library. I'm
like, you can't just try.Yeah. Ever since I got sucked in,
(08:41):
it's like everybody gives me Star Warsstuff. They just know, Yeah,
if you'll love Star Wars, yeah, can't go wrong with gifting me
a Star Wars book. Yeah.I mean I'm gonna keep it in package.
I like, if it doesn't haveif it doesn't have the black Horse,
I'm like, that's I'm like, look for the little black Horse on
(09:03):
it. And if you see that, you know, I'll love it.
Yeah, that's that's that seems tobe well. Well, in fairness,
Kyle Marvel did used to do thenineteen seventy seven comic runs, so you
can't really they just that. Yeah, yeah, and they were like,
no I love those, No,no, those those were their own thing.
That was yeah. Well they theybrought a sheer bay lu Maya,
(09:26):
like how could you not like thoseoriginal Marvel comics were great. They're usually
like like and I only I onlyhave things on the shelf that I have
dark Horse on them. So there'sthe omnibus up there for the Marvel collection,
you know what I mean. Ihave all the reissues of everything that
they did that was pretty cool, and the and actually and and it's okay,
Lisa, I got the Marvel Okay, traditions of the Marvel Year,
(09:50):
you know, because those are beautifulformats. By the way, is anybody
collecting those? I have them digitallycoming out right now, but no,
I know people who have been who'sbeen collecting them? Yeah, Oh they're
beautiful I don't buy anything from themanymore, like like you can't not buy
certain things, and like the Seeingthe Knights of the Old Republic edition amazing.
(10:13):
Mm. Yeah. I always tryto pick up things. Yeah,
like I pick up things secondhand oryou know, like little bookstores and things
like that. So I mean youget what you get, you know,
like I did find uh yeah, what did I get? I got Tales
of the New Republic at a garagesale a couple of weeks ago for twenty
five cents. It was like twentyfive cents. This is the best deal
(10:37):
I've ever felt. Yes, ohnice, m love. Do you have
any kind of merchandise and stuff?Oh? Sorry, Kyle, go ahead.
No, I think the best dealI ever got ever for anything was
Scourge for on hardcover for ten dollars. That's like my big claim to fame
(10:58):
on the best huh. Yeah, you know at some local city shop.
Yeah, I'm sorry, And youwere going to talk about other things here,
Yeah, no, I was justgonna talk about crincy. Do you
have any merchandise, Like, what'syour favorite collectible that you have? Oh?
(11:18):
Boy, I'm not actually really allthat big of a collectibles person.
I'm mostly focused on just collecting books. Yeah, but honestly, probably it's
this poster that was bought at aBlockbuster, and I just love it so
much. She's so long moved Bookbuster. Yes, I'm them. Yeah that's
(11:41):
cool. Yeah, yeah. Honestly, some of my earliest Star Wars memories
are of um renting Attack of theClones like a gazillion times at Blockbusters.
Eight year old me loved it.That's awesome now for me, Like when
(12:01):
I went back and after reading Legendsand then watching the prequels. I know
we were kind of talking about prequelsbefore we started recording, but the moment
of like Order sixty six I foundwas so much heavier because you get all
these like in depths of all thesecharacters, and like I after reading a
bunch of Legend stuff, I bawledmy eyes out at the Order sixty sixteen,
(12:22):
Like I just could not handle itbecause I was like, I know
all these guys now, you know, like he gets no Keyati, yeah
cod oh bad. He's one ofmy favorites. Yes. Did you know
his niece actually tried to get herselfbecome a sith, Like when Order sixty
(12:46):
six kicked off, she actually hollowcalmed Palpatine and he's like, how did
you get this number? And she'slike, well, I want to,
you know, be a Sith becausethis is the this is the this is
what the Force is telling me todo. And he's like, well,
if you can kill my apprentice, then be it. And of course obviously
she doesn't. But then it's kindof like her ruse of you know,
she wanted to take them down, but yeah, but she she dies in
(13:09):
the end, obviously. Yeah.Have you read that one, Kyle?
Yeah? Which one? I kindof was distracted when I was Did you
see something shiny on the screen?Yeah? I tuned in and I was
just waiting for my appropriate moment tojoin back in. Which book were you
(13:35):
talking about? No, I wasjust talking about the comic about Clocoon's knees,
my Dad's dolly on there. Itwas a part of Republic. It
was either tales or Republic or Empire, not Empire. I'm gonna have to
think about it. I think itwas Republic. I wouldn't be Empire.
Yeah, because I haven't read earlierRepublic and like a little bit um I
(13:56):
revisited like the Quinlan hero Oh nice, And that was pretty cool, very
cool. You were talking about likelike merchandise and stuff, right, we're
like like favorite stuff. Yeah.I know that it's like old mail,
but I think like the coolest thingthat you can just buy any game stop
(14:16):
anymore because they still have them islike the Jana solo. Oh yeah,
that was definitely like like yeah right. And one of the nicer things that
I've received recently was, um,we're having Nick Joseph do the se audio
drama and he sent me this recently, right, and it's it's pretty cool.
Shit there we go, Oh cool, he's such a yeah, he
(14:41):
like autographs it awesome. He's gonnabe playing himself yea, so it's kind
of nice. And he's he's likeset it my way a little yeah,
and it's like it's it's his card, you know. Yeah, it's awesome.
It is just such an awesome dude. I think I chatted with a
little bit a couple of months agoand just what a nice guy. Yeah,
(15:05):
you just remind us he was veryunderstanding and he's like patient. That's
yeah. Well, fun fact aboutthat layout that necklace it's from Finland.
Yay. Cool. No, likejust reminder I'm finished, like no,
one else cares, but it justsme. Oh well, yeah, Kyle,
(15:31):
if you want to remind everyone kindof the project you've been working on,
Viking, Man, no, kid, I think I do that too.
You. I was just kind oflike going off of what you were
saying there. I'm like, yeah, right, yes, I'm not Viking.
(15:54):
No, I know, I know, I know. I do like
like death Model on the side too. Yes, but yeah, yeah,
this is behind me and stuff. This is this is the Sky River Studio,
if you would, And that's what'sgoing to be behind creating the Supernatural
Encounters audio drama and the orchestral score. So all behind here, empowered with
a whole bunch of fun software aswell as like like hardware sequencers and synthesizers.
(16:18):
It'd be fun. Which cool,Yes, very cool. Is there
a moment you're particularly looking forward toin the in the drama? Without spoiling
anything, I do, all ofthe fully work, the soundscaping and the
orchestral pieces, and the orchestra sideis like probably the most enjoyable piece of
(16:44):
everything in its own different kind ofway because spending like years with what I
was doing and then applying that afteralso like seven years of band, like
growing up and all that fun stuffand um continuing with that route in life.
It's like I can do something withall that now. So that's one.
But really the like synthesizer play andand like um getting into like a
(17:06):
lot of weird um like following strangeEuropean YouTubers and their tricks and whatnot and
what they've been doing. Yeah, and like getting into like Tom hol Hulkenborg
from from He's pretty pretty famous guyaround these towns or the town now,
you know, mister Holknborg. Sotrying to get into that realm of things
has been pretty fun and we've beenUh, they can quite a lot of
(17:27):
progress on that. That's a baddrama will probably be ready in about two
years. And yeah, that's that'sno time at all. Yeah, we're
now we're still going through we're goingthrough the very very final draft of Supernatural
Encounters now and the scripts are goingto be provided to everyone who's going to
be participating, Printhier and yourself, including in the yeah, which which I
(17:51):
like to call a D for short, but like, so AD will feature
everybody here in this room. Iwas gonna say spoilers. We haven't told
anyone that I'm in the audio dramayet we did. Oh no, Kyle
got drunk and made a spoiler.I'm not drunk. I'm just I'm teasing
with you. But yeah, worldLisa is gonna be in there. But
we don't have to tell her.Tell the world, I said her,
(18:15):
but tell the world the world toher, you know, kind of keeping
with the theme of things. Yeah, but um, we don't have to
tell them what role you're gonna have, per se. Sure we'll leave that
part, you know, a mysteryand mine. But all this thing getting
back to the LP, A lotof that stuff's happening and uh yeah,
kind of like you know, lookingat what's going to be behind all that.
(18:36):
Yeah, before we were like, yeah, I've built like the studio
into the the I don't want tobend my cameranging back, but like my
actual like Legends Library, you know, has kind of been built into the
studio. Yeah. That's cool.Yep, and I know of her.
(18:56):
I'm fully eventually they'll be Oh no, I was going to change the subject.
I'm sorry, Oh, go forit. Well, we were talking
before we started recording. Matthew Stoverand I just wanted to talk to Matthew
Stover to be honest, um,kind of like what's our what's our favorite
books, our favorite moments? Umand Corinthia, Like, I know you
(19:19):
are a fan of Revenge of theSith. Yes, huge prequels fans.
So Um, Matthew Stover's Revenge ofso novelization was one among one of the
first like Legends books that I everread. So it's kind of like it's
got that special place in my heartand it's just such such a fantastic elaboration
(19:41):
on on an already great story. So yeah, I just blanked on who
wrote Attack of the Clones novelization?Um Oney, you could remind me death
threats for vector crime? Who receiveddeath threats? Oh right, say one?
(20:02):
I answered it? Yeah, yeah, I forgot it was him that
about it? Yeah, I knewit was someone like controversial or only because
the fans drove him away. Ohhe wasn't controversial. Yeah, Like he
was given a task and he didit incredibly well. I remember every single
moment that he wrote for Chewbacca's deathversus whatever's going on now? So yeah,
(20:27):
well I still burned into your eyeYeah exactly. I bawled my eyes
out reading that scene, and Iwas on the subway, so that wasn't
a very lovely public moment for me. But yeah, and then that was
a different kind of time too.You can literally just ruin anybody's life during
(20:49):
that time in Star Wars by sayingthat, yeah, you know, chew
he died well and you would justexcuse my language, but if anybody's day,
and they'd be like what, andlike it's like it's true, Like
I actually like, oh, Ireally get that. It's like, well,
it's r Salvatory, you know theguy who yeah, you know,
(21:11):
well he has a lot of coolstuff there right now, and and he
came along and he he killed Chewbaccaand it's not like he came up.
Yeah yeah, but nobody nobody caredabout like that immediate like you know logic.
They were just like really upset thatsomebody chilled Chewbacca. Yeah. Well,
I remember like walking out of thesubway and then I went straight to
(21:33):
the bookstore and I was like stillin tears, and I was like I
need the next one because Chewbacca died. And then the guy was like spoilers
much and I was like, youwork in the bookstore, this is your
own fault. Yeah, I missedthat. I used to have a couple
of different stores in like the TriState area that I would go to all
(21:56):
the time, and like they knewthat I I follow everything. Yeah,
and the same like you know, when I would go in, they'd be
like yeap, yeap, all right, and then like you know, next
thing, um they would always haveit like on the side. And I
see these same people to this dayand it's like, no, they don't
have anything for me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But getting back to
(22:19):
Stover, I mean, like Iknow one story and I've talked about it
before that I think Disney should tryto tackle is talking more about Mace Windu
And you know, I thought kindof having like a prequel to the Stover
Book of Mace or something like thator I don't know, I don't know
(22:41):
how how it could be done, but I just think it would be a
story that is still needed. Yeah, Mace Wood is snoke? Is that
what you said? That was goingaround for a while there. Why that
(23:02):
was one of the Yeah, thatwas a theory. Yeah, you know,
why would why not Lisa? Likeyou know, and then what happened
was so much worse, but allthe same, it was great. You
know, I love the idea ofSam Jackson being in there somewhere. Yeah,
true, you know, it's it'slike funny. I wonder if like
part of that is, like becauseSam Jackson has said before publicly that George
(23:25):
Lucas got ripped off, you know, for stealing Star Wars for four billion,
because like I think you got rippedoff or it was that tmz,
yeah, a little snippet. Iwonder how he feels about things today.
I'm sure you've spoken on that since. But yeah, well, I mean
they're going to sell Twitter for fortyfour billion, obviously Star Wars has much
(23:45):
more value. Yeah, clearly,I've got my priorities straight. Yeah.
So Corinthia, I know, soyou're into Seth who would you be?
Your favorite stuff? Yes? OhI'm a huge Darth Vader fan, just
(24:10):
super classic, Like who doesn't loveVaders? So yeah, he's probably my
favorite. Yeah, but like howold? What's up? How old are
you? Corinthia? If you don't, I don't ask a woman for age.
So and did you know did youknow Vader like from the get go
(24:34):
with like the long curls and youknow, the scars and and all that
is that is that how you wereintroduced to Vader, like through Hayden Christensen
more or less. Yes, yes, it's a very interesting take because you
have the old school and it's justlike all we all we got was Sebastian
and it's like yes, yeah, god, yeah, yeah yeah, and
(25:02):
then like you know, then cameHayden Christensen this like I'm comfortable enough to
say it's this beautiful man, andit's just like yeah, yeah. So
I was just curious on that becauselike it changes from culture to culture,
you know who. Yeah, it'slike I've been saying, I am such
a prequel skin so yeah, righton. I love the prequels too.
(25:26):
I love everything terrible about Star Wars, like Crystal Star. I love that.
I've still not done Crystal Star, but it's on the list of episodes.
We should make that one the nextone. I've read it, like,
yeah, next, because I stilldo. I don't think Randy ever
touched that one. I don't Ican't remember, but I think they did
(25:47):
it. No, I don't thinkthey did. They tended to do like
the more popular ones that you know, yeah, people going oh yeah,
nobody likes Crystal Star. If youain't so good though. So the other
day I was swimming at the lakebecause it was like it was like forty
degrees the other day. So Iwas swimming at the lake and I met
this couple and they're probably like lateforties, maybe early fifties. I'm not
(26:11):
really good judge of age, butyou started talking. Yeah, I know,
we started talking about Star Wars, and of course they're like, oh
cool, you know you've got thepodcast. And then immediately they were like,
oh, hey, the crush shesaid, blah lad. And I'm
just like and I'm just looking atthem and I'm with my boyfriend and he's
like, uh, I'm like, but it's it's that kind of age group
where you know, they grew upwith the original ot and then you know
(26:34):
they watched the prequels at like whilethey're teenagers or in their twenties, and
they just hated it. And they'rethey're both actors as their professions, who
were like, he cannot act, blah blah blah. And they're French French
Canadian actors. By the way,Uh, they're very lovely couple, but
don't say anything. They're a verylovely couple. But it just made made
(26:55):
me go Yeah, there's still alot of hate towards Like I know there's
hate towards Hayden, but like itis what it is, and I still
think he did a great job.So I don't know how you feel about
him crazy, Yeah, I getthe circumstances. Yeah, I love Haydens.
I love his Anakin. It's myfavorite Anakin out of all the iterations.
(27:18):
So even even um like Anakin's writtenthrough in books, I like a
really screen version the best. Yeah, and you can see it like it's
all him, right, definitely.Yeah. The casting people can talk smack,
but the casting for the prequel trilogywas perfect. Yeah. Perfect.
Yeah, Yeah, I'm gonna argueall the plot, but like Hayden was
(27:44):
perfect McGregor, like, you knowwhat an amazing actors and you know,
he was so little known about inNorth America, like he had I think
he had done Train Spotting at thatpoint, which is a fantastic movie.
Yeah yeah, Like in fact, the Phantom Medicine they started taking four in
ninety seven was like like older forhim at that point. Yeah. Now
(28:11):
that's like Hayden was completely out ofnowhere. He didn't he didn't have anything,
really, did you enjoy what wasit? Looper? No, not
Looper. I'm forgiving me Jumper?Thank you? Did you that one?
Yes? I also loved that one. So yeah, that was that was
great. Hayden. We were talkingabout episode two before we began taping this
(28:33):
evening, and um, you knowand like the novelization versus the film,
but those deleted scenes that you know, they definitely did include, which was
fortunate, but I wish that theyput them into the cut version, you
know, like the actual theatrical release, because it made Hayden Christensen so much
less creepy. Yes, like justsee where they visit the map areas state
(29:00):
and he talks to like his mom, like Padme's mom and dad and sister.
That was like the best scene. And he goes out and like walks
in the garden with his dad andher dad and like talk, they talk,
and it was just such a likea pure thing and like if you've
ever dated, you know what thatfeels like to go to the parents' house
and like meet the parents and itjust it just rounded their relationship for me
(29:25):
in a way that you just didn'tget through the film. Yeah, right,
yeah, I think and they putI remember in the scenes too.
There was so much detail too, down to the forks and the knives and
had like shellfish silverware designed and likeall of that for for those scenes.
Yeah, and they were beautiful andthey definitely I'm glad that they got like
(29:48):
their credit where it was due asfar as you know, they were at
least included most of the releases backthen, but like I would have made
the film so much better in thenovel. Yeah, to pull that off
for it. Yeah, is theremore in the novel with the families.
I haven't read Attack of the Quonesor four. Yes, I think that
(30:11):
scene is in the novel. Yeah. Yeah, he uh salvatory stitches everything
together. Yeah pretty well, okay, Yeah, and we were joking earlier
that you get to see, youknow, what happens to colleague and all
that there was. There was alot of extended, extended or deleted scenes
if you would, that that heelaborated on in the novelization, and it
(30:33):
was definitely made it definitely made itworth reading. Yeah, that's cool.
I mean, I also want tolike Hayden Christis and I'm sorry but like
in modern Day, um, atleast I know you missed it on that
because you still haven't watched Obi one, right, no good because this is
steaming right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was quite surprised that
(31:07):
they did not use any anti agingfor Hayden whatsoever in the Obi Wan show.
It was very strange. It wasgreat to see him like participate in
modern Star Wars times now. Imean, like I hope that they they
hooked him up. I felt thatthey did not do him like service with
the series, but um, itwas nice to see him back out there
(31:27):
and know that he's part of thecircuit, you know, yeah, true
with the Star Wars circuit. He'sstill around now. Yeah, even if
it's like the most heartening thing waslike seeing audience reaction. It was just
so so nice to like finally havehim like feel all the love that yeah
(31:48):
he didn't feel, you know, first time around. So yeah, I
wish we got like everything that hewas in. I wish we got everything
he was in in one episode sothat we just revereer that episode instead of
the whole thing the closer without givingaway spoilers, was was particularly nice to
see him without a shadow of doubtjust be psychotic. You know, it's
(32:15):
a psychotic Hayden Christensen was for thefans and whatnot for our contact here was
was quite a joy. Yeah, yeah, by far, like save that
entire series. Yeah, so thankyou Hayden for continuing to be around and
somehow saving that show that was supposedto be about you and McGregor. But
(32:36):
you saved it, buddy. Wellthat's good. I'm glad to hear that
then, at least, because it'skind of like with A'm at best when
he went to celebration and people werejust like, yeah, you're here,
like and so happy. And itwas the same with that couple that I
met the other night and they werejust being like, oh, jar Jarred
and I do my usual like speelof like look, this is why you
(32:58):
know you should kind of like astep back from your hate and you know,
appreciate jar Jar because like he's amisunderstood character. He's a sweetheart.
Yeah, he said a lot ofthings when it should have been a line
from like QUI gon to padme, for instance. But it is what it
is, and it's still a children'smovie, yes, people, definitely.
(33:20):
Yeah, that's like the biggest thingthat most people forget is like episode one
was a film for children, solike a character like jar Jar is for
kids. Yeah, and like Iremember I loved Jarjar as a kid.
So yeah, it's like any anyadult who like hates on jar Jar,
(33:42):
it's kind of like, well hewasn't for you anyway, so well,
and I generally reminded them that, like my best stood on the Brooklyn Bridge
and you know debated at attempting suicide, so you know, stop your hate
and publicly shaming people for no reason, because look what you can drive to
someone to to that point. Then, yeah, all he did was replaced
(34:05):
three po. Yeah, like ifyou watch the old Ones and that perspective,
it's just like all right, likethree was annoying, excuse me,
breaking character of a new Hope, right, you just hated him and like
he actually like draws you down, and like I don't know, you love
(34:27):
him because of like the nostalogy andeverything else, and it was a great
film, but like he's incredibly annoying. Exactly, Yeah, he love those
moments with like Han, you know, yeah, he was just the same
archetype and like Obi Wan called hima lower life form and all that.
(34:47):
It's just like so like I know, do people hate George for doing that?
But at the same time, likehe let the audience and on the
joke, like obi Wan was ourway in and like obi Wan hated everything
about what Quigan was trying to do, right, So, like it's the
subliminal messaging that people missed about episodeone is just like you know, we're
supposed to be obi and like obiWan and we're like ibs warming all this
(35:13):
and like you know, these guysare doing the story, but we're just
sitting there like what the is actuallyhappening for this entire time we're obi Wan
And like that's like the brilliance behindepisode one, Like he managed to pull
it off in that perspective. LikeI'm just saying it's a perfect film.
Out of the three, the onethat felt the most. Yeah, I
(35:35):
think it's the one that felt themost like Star Wars. And that's like
not a popular opinion. I hopethat we get hate mail, but like
it will probably be we don't gethate us yet. Hopefully nobody starts talking
or anything weird Bice folk from NewJedi Order. There we go, Let's
let's let's keep it. Who wouldyou say? Okay, so you you
(35:59):
like Sith, but if you couldtake a Jedi as your favorite character.
Who would that be? Do youthink it a Jedi? Yeah, you
can take your time on you didn'tjust say Anakin st Okay, So this
whole episode is titled Hayden and WhyWe Love You. Yeah, all right,
(36:23):
that's good enough. I mean Ido love also Luke Skywalker just like
in terms of like Legends books, like just I love Legends Luke. Yeah,
(36:45):
and like if they don't, ifthey don't read it from start to
finish, they kind of it's reallyeasy to like get lost out there and
forget where you're at in the timeline. And that's fine. Like the progression
of Luke was not some um opthing like you know again like back to
the point, right, Like ifyou read Thrown, it's just like all
right in the timeline, like he'shere, but as you go along with
(37:08):
everything else, it's like by thetime do you get to the unifying force,
It's like Luke Skywalker was everything thathe was supposed to be, and
you know, and the tractors likecan can you know make their own opinions,
but down to like crucible, youknow, Luke Skywalker was was the
(37:29):
opinion of everything that we would hopethat he would become even if even if
appreciate like fot J, that's liketheir own issue because that series was like
made for hardcore fans, even ifpeople don't realize it. So like only
the hardcore hardcore fans, we're gonnaget most of it. Yeah, Like,
yeah, Luke Skywalker is og andwas perfect in the Legends and yeah
(37:52):
with the meme yeah, yeah,I don't know, just you know,
everything that they did with with Lukethroughout Legends just made him feel so much
more down to earth than you knowwhat you in comparison, what do you
has done with with Luke? Andyou know what can be extrapolated from the
(38:15):
movies as well. It was justso nice to you know, read Luke
as just like a dude yeah youknow, yeah, not a dude who
just happens to be, you know, in the situation that he was in.
So yeah, minus the four stroke, you know, Jesus, Yeah,
(38:37):
no, you know, we wegot like the warrior that he really
was, and like he he liketranscended into Yoda level, you know,
when he was just ready to yeah, sit back and let the order take
care of itself, you know,And there was a um in Cruise,
(39:00):
well there was that point when you'rejust watching like the Academy happen, you
know, and it's just like ashe was setting back and whatnot, and
and that that's like probably my favorite. Like I know, Detroit didn't apparently
know that that was going to bethe last book of the timeline save Mercy
Hill, um, but he surewrote it like it was in its own
weird, strange way if if you'veread it, Crinthia, Yeah, yeah,
(39:22):
I've read it. Yeah, andit's a beautiful way to end the
whole thing. Um. But yeah, we got like yo to Luke and
you know, yeah, Conn andLea got pummeled enough to the point that
they actually were going to retire. And finally it's like yeah, I don't
want to give you spoilers, Isazac, but yeah I haven't read it yet.
(39:45):
Yeah, well I was just yeah, that's going to make a comment
on Luke because you're saying, yeah, he gets this level of like perfection,
but then like you look at himin Legacy and he's not clever enough.
He still see that Looke, Mayaand Jason are up to something or
Jason's is being tainted. It's onlyit only takes Mara to go enough of
(40:06):
this. I'm going to go andsort this situation out. And and then
even with like you know, thedreams from Abalath, like he's like,
oh, it's clearly Mara sending mea message from like beyond, and dope,
like there's there's times when yeah, you can still see you can still
see his humanity, but like it's, yeah, you're so right, like
he is at that crazy cool level. But I don't know, I just
(40:30):
found it like stilly sometimes when theywere like doing their investigation of like why
uh Jessina Lobi was killed and itwas because of like lu Maya and Alima
Leimer killing her and like that subsequentlike investigation, and he was just kind
of like, you know, thissilly kind of you know, like suspicions
(40:51):
and then of course he thinks thatAlima killed Mara Jaide, but you know
it was Jason long spoilers. Yeah, yeah, but I you know,
they had they had to like redothemselves in a new way. And I
think that they wrote Luke okay forthat whole situation because it's like all right,
look like you know, making Jasonturn to the dark side was a
(41:14):
trope they had to make it umthat that whole impact quite significant to actually
be able to pull it off withoutit sounding cheesy. They wrote, Okay,
for Luke, you know, hewas all right, and like like
Legacy brought along some of my favoriteLuke moments of all time, you know,
(41:34):
um, like seeing him vulnerable whenhis wife dies. Oh yeah,
his his girl dies, and likethat was that whole series was probably my
favorite thing in the lore. Sothey've been like a little biased from it,
and like that's that's probably why Ilove Fay the Jedi so much,
because, like, for for aman who like like you know, um
(41:58):
had more of a dad than himgrowing up, you know, I understood
a lot of his like references andlike kind of being out there with him,
so I think it translated differently forme. But that's just like a
biased But I really love how howLuke turned out and whatnot. And by
the time like did we get toyou know, fade of the Jedi and
(42:19):
his acceptance of of being banished fromeverything that he created, I think that
was the you know and leaving Kentin charge and all that fun stuff that
he had to go through, andjust like watching everything that he created,
like leaving your baby in a way, it was like kind of like the
strange symbolism with George himself, likeleaving behind Star Wars yea, and like
(42:39):
you know, just having to trustthat it would kind of like carry on.
Um. I know that's like liketoo deep of a thing to actually
mean anything, but that's how Ipicture it in my brain now. I
don't know. I really enjoyed howLuke turned out by the end, and
like Ben Skywalker was like just asequally exciting character as an exciting character.
(43:00):
Yeah, forward to him replacing Lukekind of like yeah, and becoming his
own thing and like all of theedginess and everything else that we wanted from
Luke, I think we were goingto get with Ben. Um. Yeah.
I love Ben's evolution, like himbeing just kind of like a kid
(43:20):
that was scared of the force whothen end up dating a stiff as well.
Like but like yeah, you know, like his whole progression, Yeah,
like his progression like going to Zaiasand finding ship and you know,
subsequently giving it accidentally to Lumaya andthen ship attacking Mara later and then snsing
(43:40):
that like Mara's kind of like Benand Ben was like Mara, Like there's
a little bit of the darkness inthem, but don't I don't know where
I'm going with this tangent other thanShip's the best. I'm a big fan
of Ship. Yeah. Yeah, what it was understated characters that doesn't get
(44:01):
enough screen type. But yeah,we got that nice little rebirth with with
Vastara and Ben. You know,it was going to be mar and Luke
all over again. Yeah, exactly, except for what their own twist.
It was gonna be great. Yeah, do you think so? Like with
ken Hamler, I just had athought because because Saba, Yeah, I
(44:24):
know, we we all have experiencedbad leaders recently, But do you think
Luke should have left Saba in chargebecause she became in charge eventually? Like
yeah, yeah, wasn't that thenatural choice? From the break? Anth
was just old school? Yeah, you know what I mean, That's why
(44:45):
he got the position. It wasjust old school. M hm hm.
I liked what they did though, because they had to. They had to
make a way for Saba to savethe day and like takeover that. Yeah.
So yeah, I like the charactersthey chose, Like if Kent was
the fall guy, Like, Istill remain quite good with it like,
(45:05):
I'm not pissed in the way thathe died, but it was actually kind
of gallant for him, despite theirony of the whole stupid situation that he
died over. So the stops fromI'm leaving. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
like they gave him a really cooldeath despite his good point of view,
I guess. Yeah, Like likeLuke was the leader of the rebellion,
(45:30):
bro, like he should have kindof listened to his comrades. Yeah,
I think that that's like I think, like I know that, you
know, we get like Luke's insideon everything, but at the same time
and it's like, come on,man, like yeah, yeah, not
exactly, like following the principles ofyour founder here. Yeah. Yeah.
(45:52):
Do you have a favorite author thatyou've really enjoyed ours? I am a
huge John Jackson Miller. Yes,so can be so. Like as far
as like books to reread, go, I'm pretty sure I reread um Lost
(46:13):
Tribe of the Sith at least oncea year. Yeah, yeah, I
recommend Yeah, it's yeah, Ilove that book. I recommend you tuning
into an old episode on Legends wherewe actually had John Jackson Miller come on
and he basically narrated the entire likeLost Tribes of the Sith and like he
just and he was amazing, Likehe just talked. He talked so much
(46:36):
that I actually could leave the room, Yeah, because he was just like
like and I wasn't expecting it.Just listen to him on other shows before.
He's amazing, amazing. Yeah,I'm a huge fan. So yeah,
m hmm, there's um yeah,he's definitely another author. I'd like
(46:58):
to get back on the show justbecause he's just like a fun guy to
talk to. Um, let meknow when you do, have you I
mean like, aha, he's likeusually responsive, he's pretty responsive. I
think we can get him to comeon here. Yeah yeah, yeah,
uh yeah. So messages to JohnJackson Miller and miss Message Hayden, who
(47:22):
are clearly watching. Oh yeah, yes, clearly definitely one of our Like
however, many tens of people whowatch get a couple definitely miss your Christens.
What's your next book that you planon reading? Oh well, I'm
(47:45):
in the middle of like a gazillionbooks right now, so I know I've
got some that are on my twofinish lists. Yeah, um wash,
looking at looking at my shelf rightnow, I know I still need to
read like Eye Jedi, uh,Shadows of the Empire reward? So oh
(48:08):
good? Are you going to dothe Shadows of the Empire and its entirety?
Yeah, like you're gonna read thebook and read the comics. Mhmm,
all right, yeah, that's theonly way to do that one.
Yeah, yeah, really I shouldbe like, where's where's your sixty four?
(48:30):
Girl? Do you have your Nintendosixty four emulator hooked up? You
gonna find one? I guess now, did you ever play the Nintendo sixty
four game? No? I wishI did. So. It's very easy
I'm not quite old, very easyto find online that gives you the rest
(48:52):
of the story you need. Youneed the game, you need the comics
and the book and you'll get thewhole. Yeah. I know it sounds
cheesy and be like this guy Kyledamn that he just like keep talking at
that thing that we did together hereon the on the podcast, but he
kept saying over and over again totry to play this video game on the
(49:13):
internet where it's very easy to findand you'll love it. He tries.
It's from the time period of videogames that like it's very easy to play
Like I know people are gonna belike an uproar saying this, but like
you know, it's it's not difficult. It's not like it is now,
(49:34):
you know, when you have tobe so invested into a game to be
able to like be good at it. Like Shout Out the Empire in all
D sixty four games were really notthat way, Like everybody could just sit
down and like get down. Itwas fine. Yeah, yeah, I
think you know, the two dwampas are going to kick your ass and
it's great. Nice. Yes,I think the game came out and went
(49:57):
like five nineties nine five ish okayish. Yeah, so it's like,
oh man, it's so bad sogreat, it's perfect, you know what.
The old games like that are justsome of the best. Yeah,
Outcast included all that. Yeah, but a pause for that Shadows of the
(50:20):
Empire because like that was really cool. That showed us like, like I'm
I'm inspired recently because Christopher Nelson hashad a lot of memorabilia from that time
that he's been having on his channeland it's like, um, because Shadows
the Empire was such a multimedia project, like it was like one of its
first kind. Yeah, Chris Nelsonon his YouTube channel had a bunch of
(50:42):
what they would what Lucasfilm would sendout to like Kaby Toys and all the
Toys r US all that stuff.Like it was like this this really cool
letter from them stating that like youknow, they're building the story. Um,
they're kind of like interconnecting the videogames because remember like places like Kaby
Toys and stuff with sell video gamesas well, and they're like, yeah,
all the all the toys and youryour aisles are actually connected to this
(51:04):
big story we're doing. It's veryfascinating if you want to check out Chris's
channel. Um. Yeah, itwas like for all those people who say
that like none of it matters,it's like that's not true. That's not
necessarily true. I'll say that becauseit's like, yeah, there was actually
like like community outreach and Lucasfilm wasknown to do a lot of very like
ahead of their time things people don'tgive them credit for now, like Shadows
(51:27):
of Multimedia Project. It was perfect, you know, one thing, but
it was like really cool for thetime. Yeah. I was reading some
of the older comics recently, andyou know when you get like those sections
where like people talk like ask questionsand then they respond kind of like in
the outreach part, but like youactually look at it and people will be
like, it'll say Karl rawlings fromyou know, and then the full address
(51:51):
of the person posted and it's inthe comic of like this person's full address,
including apartment number and like postal code. I was just so trusting back
in the day. It was adifferent time. But yeah, yeah,
I do miss those times. Likelike I'm old enough to like, you
(52:12):
know, I had like a beeper, you know. Yeah, so like
right and in like I wrote inThe Dark Horse when I was a kid,
you know, I wrote to delRay too. Maybe I've read it
and didn't realize that you were oneof the people being answered. Oh yeah,
it was community outreach was a lotdifferent back then. I think it
(52:36):
was a lot, a lot moreinvolved. And I do miss old times.
That's a separate conversation I've had thesecond. I told you before,
if I get up for the thirdone, that it's probably time to end
the show. Yeah, so I'mgoing to use this as a very nice
segue and let you ladies talk herefor like three minutes while I go get
a glass of wine. I'm goingto join you for the closure of the
show. How's that? Yes,Kyle, we're officially I don't get your
(52:58):
wine take it. I'll be rightback, all right. Well, actually,
Crinthia, I was thinking of posingyou a question, and if you
want to think about it, youcan feel free and I'll just yeah,
born about something else. If youcould pick five individuals to be like you're
a team, who would they be? So for instance, yeah, for
(53:22):
instance, with me, I've definitelypicked braun Um, Laba, Mara.
I'm kind of on the fence withLeo sometimes like yes, Um, vain
Yes, I love vain Um.And the fifth one I don't know.
I'm decided are two I guess probablymine would probably be like mostly stiff characters
(53:52):
like I guess yeah, uh ohyeah, I just put your bat name.
I knew who you meant. Don'tworry. There's there's many ways to
inciate words and Star Wars, youknow, Twilight, we like you know
(54:12):
none of it. Yeah, sometimesit's like something you know what I this
is how kind of disconnected I wasfrom Star Wars for the longest time,
so Jason and Jana, right,I never knew it was pronounced that way.
I thought it was Jacking and JanaVagina and I was like no,
and then somebody said it and I'mlike, oh no, I've been saying
(54:35):
it round in my head round thiswhole time. Oh my gosh, vagina
that it was used. Yeah,I used to think that it was like
that kind of stupid names, rightlike, but it turns out I was
just saying them wrong, and they'renot stupid names. They're actually pretty normal.
Yeah, normal, that's really yeah. Oh yeah, I can see
(55:00):
that. Like some of the namesobviously, like like the black black black
black, you know, like andstuff like that, like you know,
um try Denning. He's famous forhis alliteration like Saba Sabateen and and all
those kind of characters. So likeyou never know what is going to be
what like obviously people have a troublesaying my name even and that's not too
(55:20):
hard. There's two eyes. Butso okay, I'm still thinking about who
would be in my eighteen Yeah,it's a hard question because really I didn't
even think about Plagus and Plaguas islike one of my favorite books. I
He's awesome. I love that wasmy the first Legends book I have read.
(55:50):
It was a great It was oneof my first five books I read
was Plagues Actually yeah, yeah,no, first two books Star Wars books
I read were Dark Plagus and uhpaul Its Camps, Lords of the Stuff,
which is kind of okay, I'vekind of flown under the radar that
(56:15):
one. I've read that one. That was my first love that I ever
read. So yeah, like Iwas going on a home that was like
that was an interesting one. Yeah, oh no, for sure, I
was going on a whole like VaderDark Side kicks. I was buying all
the like Vader books first, andI was like, oh, yeah,
a story about Palpatine Invader, Likethis is gonna be good. Yeah,
(56:37):
yeah, no, I was onthe same kind of kicks. They threw
a camp of bone. Yeah.He hasn't written since right now, Like
that's the only book that he had. Yep, yeah, you written one
other thing. Oh, I don'tknow, I don't remember. We're at
a date. It was. Yeah, that was kind of the nice part
(57:00):
about the beginning. Like I hatedthe reboot. I was definitely a Warhawk,
but it was like, all right, people were still writing for it.
But I've noticed in recent years thatlike there's not much. Yeah,
mister Kemp has not really been toomuch. No, yeah, and they
haven't like they don't use James theSena enough anymore. Like the last one
he did was what no Catalyst forRogue one? Yeah, John Jackson Miller
(57:25):
was like, you know, RebelDog. Yeah. Yeah, that's when
he did this Catalyst, which isa fantastic book. I liked. Catalyst
was yeah, James as Yeah,No, that was a good for for
for j j M. It wasNew Dawn, right, that was the
last one he did. Yeah,an introduction of Yes, Yes, m
(57:50):
Yeah, which is also fantastic andI've read that one multiple times. Yeah,
well to those guys, have yougotten your your third wine and you're
enjoying it? Yeah? I poseda yeah, I posed a question to
(58:12):
Corinthia which was, if you havean a team of five people from Star
Wars, who would it be?Oh? Yeah, are you asking me
or you just telling me this thisamazing question. I'm still thinking. I'm
trying to build like a team inmy mind. So far, I've got
gas Nagatado, um add x racoonsto that fifth sith sith Okay, yeah,
(58:40):
yeah, just I'm just trying tobuild like the coolest sifteam I could
possibly build. Yeah, I'm regrettingmy choices now. I want Plaguins on
my team. Yeah, I wantsome some lords that I can't talk about,
yeah, but Sith lords. Yeah, I would also add some of
(59:04):
those my list as well. Ilove that you're so familiar with that that
realm of sw Corinthia's and it's verywell friends with Edwards. How could I
not be. Yeah, it's aunique experience to be able to have you
on the show because like, yeah, the best that we are in it
here and like there's not really alot of platforms that are are you know,
(59:27):
volunting. See, So I'm gladyou're here. More people mean to
be in on list because it isgoing to be amazing. Supernatural Encounters is
the shit. It is that.Yeah, if you like Sith at all,
you gotta yeah, get in onit at all. It's it's the
origin. It's like the actual origin. Yes, yes, yeah, that's
(59:52):
awesome. Yeah, and it's goingto be free online. That's even more.
Yeah, that's cool. Still thinking, it's still thinking, Kyle,
do you have anyone Lisa? Yeah, maybe I'll ideas three years ago or
(01:00:12):
so, Lisa tricked me with thesame question. It's a very difficult question.
Ball at me and I'm like,um, I know. I also
said XR coon I believe, Isaid, Jason, m Now what wait
wait, so we're making a powerteam for it's an A team. No,
it's your A team, an Ateam for anything? What is the
(01:00:36):
mission for this A team whatever?I don't know. I just like,
okay, no, that's fair, that's fair. The question has a lot
of answers. I got you.Um, if it was five people,
I'm gonna be weird and just saystuff that doesn't really matter instead of like
key characters and stuff, because youknow this, that's I would build.
(01:00:58):
I'm going to build a droid team. Well, I just say I love
I love droid sentence throughout Star Wars. It's perfect K three. Yeah,
So I would say Q nine fromSupernatural Encounters because Q nine is one of
my favorite droids of all time. Now look for him in the future and
you'll know what I mean if youpay attention to that. Um and uh,
(01:01:23):
what was it? I five Qy or whatever the hell that was
from Med Star Um Steve Perry thedroid from the droid from the like the
Pavon cycle. Um yeah, I'mtalking about I know, it's been so
long and I can't I cannot tellyou the name st um they Yeah,
(01:01:47):
they were in and a lot ofstuff, um Corressant Knights as well.
Anyway, that that droid, becausethat was like there was a lot of
um themes put around like droid sentencesfrom there. That was kind of cool.
Um see here, I'm gonna takeJason's um y vh sterroid because like,
(01:02:10):
you know, those droids have aspecial place in my heart too.
They're so full of hatred, butthen they got cute, like all of
a sudden, they were like theywere like these tapable pet droids that people
just had and like we ne Atlantomade them for like to muse on Vong
and then all of a sudden peoplecould just have them. I was like,
(01:02:30):
throw one of those guys in there. I'm gonna throw one of those
those guys in there for ships andgrins and um let's see that's what three.
We gotta throw like a Clone Warsera droid in there. So I
would definitely throw just like the roidto episode one thing, just like just
(01:02:50):
a straight like killer droid. It'sOkay if it fails right away, I
don't care. That thing was badass, just like yeah, Trade Federation issued
non CIS issued Droidica. Yeah, and then um I eighty eight B.
(01:03:12):
Yeah, we're going to be specific. I was gonna say which one,
but yeah, yeah or four alarm, you know, like anyway, but
just yeah, yeah, that's that'smy random like Star Wars team, just
to have one, I guess,just know there's a specific mission that I
gotta bring mar Jade into it.I could always go that route, but
(01:03:35):
just cheese. Random cool droids thatwe like. We don't forget iron holes,
but that's from that's from a longtime ago. There's so many,
there's so many nice droids to choosefrom. They were all great. I
love Solace from Dark Rendezvous. Um, he's also like one of my favorite
droid characters characters ever remember them theFootmen droids from Dark Rendezvous? Yeah,
(01:04:01):
yeah, absolutely, yeah, Ohyeah, random stuff. I'm just gonna
keep talking unless he cut me off. I told you about this third glass
thing? Oh you did us?Did I know? Normally we've got such
like notes and like I did havewell, I like said, I've got
(01:04:26):
all these pages of notes that wewere gonna do for show, and things
got a little shange. Yeah, but we're a little more normal poetic.
But today it's just an episode ofwell, it's just you getting drunk.
Are you born with grace or onecannot just simply have grace for Seinfeld fans
anyway, Um yeah, yeah,we wanted to give you something because like
(01:04:49):
Kritia is a wonderful guest to have, we didn't have like the full crew
that we were going to do forthis spectacular of course, and um yeah,
and like you're just you be partof it for so long. I'm
glad that like I don't know howmuch we've all talked to outside oft shall
not be named yea um, butfor people who are watching, because like
(01:05:11):
you know, our channel is relativelynew and people don't really watch our long
episodes, they're like our shorts, but hopefully they're watching this one. Um
At the same time, like Corinthiahas been part of like like my Star
Wars camp for so long, eventhough we've never had the chance to talk
on video save maybe something but remotelike audio only. In a previous um
(01:05:34):
shit show that we were both involvedexcuse me, a previous nonprofit that we
were both involved in not that longago, including Lisa herself as well,
so we were all working together priorto this very harmoniously. So it's very
nice to have you here. Yeah, I'm gonna try to like, yeah,
yeah, I'm gonna try to wrapup my drum closer here, but
(01:05:56):
like, yeah, I'm glad you'rehere and Liza's here. We're all able
to talk and just and I havesome fun watch Kyle get drugs away.
Yeah yeah, because I was like, you know what before we started taping
this people for those like nine peoplewho are still watching this by now,
um, you know, it's justlike I'm just gonna break out the bottle
of wine and we're gonna like, you know, really meet Carinthia and like
(01:06:19):
Lisa have like like chatted and whatnottoo. So yeah, it's been a
great time. Yeah, I'm justso, she says, really, Leo
Glass, thank you. It's asecret, but Lisa always has beer somewhere.
Don't tell anyone that I said thatbecause she doesn't want people to know.
(01:06:44):
She definitely wants people to know it'spart of it. But the secret
though, like we don't talk aboutthe fact that we definitely like have a
beer or two before we do.Allegen's library is this thing on? It
is on and right now haven't hadanything? Thank you, It's like water.
Take that back to normal right now, Kyle, Oh, one of
(01:07:10):
these days, I guess. So, Crinthia, have you thought any more
of who else you would want onyour team before we'd be? Okay,
let's hear it. So astbished nowtotal SIF fan. So my a team
is dars plagus xarn nagasaa. YeahI'll go and yeah yeah man, yes,
(01:07:46):
yeah, yeah, I'll hardly agreeon that decision of your team there.
That team is going to kick someass. Yes, well I'll take
your team down with my team ofThrown and Saba and Mara Jaide and our
two and Baine. My team hasto be like a lot cooler where they're
gonna be like T three at theend of like rapping, it's gonna get
(01:08:12):
smushed whole on ships go back. She picks the lords I picked kick butt
kicking women like you get droids? Can I at least get h K forty
seven? He's like really known. So I was trying to stay away from
(01:08:33):
the really knowns, but I thinkI need help me lords and stuff like
like he at least has experience, that's true. He's good with insulting people,
yeah yeah, and killing yeah,I mean terminating. Oh well,
(01:08:56):
I think this is one of thoseepisodes where I don't know how people are
going to about it, but Ihope listeners they're going to feel some kind
of way. I hope you careenough. I hope you all care enough
to leave like a bizarre comment underneathhere and then um, subscribe to the
channels to like look at for morebizarre episodes that we do like this as
(01:09:17):
well as are very cordial, verycordial you know deep dives, because I
would hope that, especially after misterAbel gave us such a wonderful yeah,
which again, thank you sir,and yeah we're friends anyway. I'm glad
that, like, like you know, we do deep dives into books that
(01:09:41):
other people I feel don't. Um, we all saw the notes to be
prepared for a simple like Women's ofLegends, like that's a lot that Lisa
did and all the same like youknow, like you know, we kind
of like invest our time into legends. Oh shit, I can't get the
top angle, but you all getthe point. There's a lot of books
over there. Yeah, we investour time into legends, and I think
(01:10:03):
that we do dive that people don'tdo. Yeah, yeah, and like,
if anything, there's more politics thatpeople are worried about, and like
your sounds a little off though, dive too much into that necessarily. I
think it's a very wonderful show.My camera's off kilter, I'm drunk.
But at the same time, um, yeah, you know it's it's worth
(01:10:25):
checking out to subscribe to our channels. Lies has been doing a bunch of
shorts lately. I've been like slammedat work to a point that like it's
not even I should just not openmy mouth any further. Yeah, because
I'm not going to talk about youryour work situation. My work life is
is just like pummeling. So asthe same token, um, Lies has
(01:10:46):
been doing shorts and eventually I'll tryto hop in with that with her and
stuff. But like, at thesame time, it's been wonderful and people
have been like tuning in, soalso to just just subscribe to the channel.

the audio work that we're doing,I am taking submissions for like specific fully

work if people want to put thatstuff in. I think that it's a
lot of fun to like throw alot of extras in the background, just
to have people involved with things. If y'all want to tape yourselves yelling into
a camera or onto a microphone, obviously that would be great because there's some
senatorial scenes that we're doing and Iwould love to hear you all scream.
