last week and didn't go so wellbecause my bulgarian split lunges in bed didn't

(01:17):

muscle worship, and practical advice stuffput on the games. Today we're
taking a look at gymtimidation. Whatcauses folks to get anxious about going to

(01:41):
lift weights. We got ideas toput you back together, get on the

muscle. New York City's largest policeunion is suing to use performance enhancing drugs
and arm reduction. How to balancethe use of hard drugs and performances.
(02:05):
Drop Dead Woo Party, don't dropdead gorgeous, drop dead gorgeous. You
know, it's like doing this podcast, Like we started doing this podcast about
now three years or two years agoor so Smarly two years for Let's Grow
Bag Together. Yeah, yeah,And they opened up a Pandora's box of
emotional issues and stories and never ina million years I did this because it
(02:30):
was like, you know, Ithink muscular guys are hot and and they're
like, let's you know, bringin some of that action. And we've
covered health and fitness on our SisterSibling podcast, Feast of Fun for Yours,
so it's nice to just kind oflike channel this and have that focus
right right, and so you know, this is being simulcasts both on Feasts
of Fun and Lets Grow Big together. And you know, when we started
(02:52):
doing this podcast and posting all thisstuff on Instagram and even me doing the
bodybuilding contest and winning winning second place, thank you very much, gratulations,
thank you, it's silver Daddy,Silver Daddy, silver for those silver.
Uh. It started getting people tellingus about their horror stories in life and
(03:14):
in the gym. And I alwayssubscribe to this idea that a good a
personal trainer, lights of fire underneathyou, a good coach, lights of
fire inside of you, get youmotivated, get your motivated, get your
life, change your life. Youknow, fearlessly be yourself, but be
the best version of you you canbe. We will accept nothing less.
(03:36):
That's right, bring your best tothe table. And with that, it
just comes like when we started interviewingthese bodybuilders and even talking to the listeners
of the show, they're all justlike, you know, it's like my
house burned down on fire and Ilost a foot and I got a drict
into meth. It's like, youknow, the bomb that exploded and I
fell off of a cliff and stuff, and then I won the Arnold CXIC.
(04:00):
Well, a lot of a lotof trauma for sure, and a
lot of things to be anxious about. Yeah, I think about you know,
the some of the most famous bodybuilders, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone,
had their start as male sex workersmuscle for hire. Some of the most
respected and loved and influential bodybuildings, like Mike Metzer, struggled tremendously with embracing
(04:26):
his homosexuality and drug addiction with meth. He lived in a van by the
river. And look at Chris Bumstead, all that muscle, and he went
bald and had to yet hair transplants. Really well, I didn't notice.
I don't tell you didn't follow thatI did, but I was like,
I'm not looking above the Losing yourhair could be traumatic for a lot.
(04:48):
And there's millions, if not billions, of dollars spent worldwide on hair restoration,
hair coloring, all sorts of stuff. Yeah, I mean, how
you look is anxiety. Wells tothat question right off the bat. So
you know, I'm I'm bodybuilding,I'm choose to the gills doing all kinds
of things, you know, andI worried I'm going to lose my hair.
(05:10):
What should I do? I thinkyou're gonna look good, bald.
Honestly, I take this as ahypothetical question. Our new egg head overlord,
I'm taking this as a hypothetical question, asshole. Well you know,
(05:32):
listen, Yeah, but the tools, there's three things you could you could
do to stop your hair loss. You know what those are? Shave your
head, get a hair transer. In terms of medication, medication, most
people it's you know, you monoxidil. It's a rob on topical, but
I think you can also take itas a pill. There's a fantastic eye
(05:53):
you can take that and also tothey recommend that you wash your hair with
a yeahs that component and that's shownto revitalize hair. So monoxidl also known
as Propecia. I love the namePropecia. It's a I don't think people.
I don't know if Propicia is evena brand anymore. Are people even
naming their children Propecia anymore. They'renot Propecia. Break daddy's lotion here,
(06:17):
get make sure you don't look Godalost all his hair. Yes, mom,
propicia, you put that on youron your there actually was a sex
worker on the internet. She wasa character. She was a character actress
who did a character called Propitia.Yes, but so with a crackhorn,
yes, the famous crackworder. We'llget to we're actually talking about meth on
(06:40):
today's show. Party. But soPropecia not a finasteride for Asteroide is a
is a what is that called aprostate reduction medication. That side effect is
a very powerful d h T blocker. Yes, that's what it does.
So as you get older, yourtestosterone in your body converts to d HT,
(07:02):
which is more potent version of thesame testosterone because your body needs testosterone
to functions, and so as aconsequence, you start losing your hair.
So like that's why older gentlemen andwomen, uh and non binary people as
they mature through life, their theirhair starts to fall out because the DHT
(07:24):
is higher in their bodies. Butyou can do stuff like taking salt palmetto
you can which is a powerful Uh, you know, anything that has to
do with the prostate can also helpyou with preventing hair loss. And if
you're a stimulate, not stimulating itprotecting it. So stuff to you know,
like salt palmetto. Finasteride is amedication for that. And then propecia
(07:46):
or monoxidil that works more on yourfollicles of your hair, and it's a
DHT blocker. And then of coursenyserl. I don't know how that works,
but I go three together. It'sanother block. It's another block.
So it's just blocking it from differentways. Science. You got to get
these things from different animals and ifit doesn't work out, just shave it
(08:07):
life. Listen, these hair pieceslook phenomenal these days. Yeah, you
know, you can't even tell thatthere's a rug on a lot of these
people's heads. Oh you can dogo to Turkey and do like Chris pumps
in and just get hair plugs bypulling the hair out on your butt you
got and stick out on your head. You gotta be careful though, because
like one guy, they said thatlike you can't have caffeine for like two
weeks after I got't even allowed toorgasm for two weeks was I was told
(08:28):
no orgasming for two weeks, Iknow, and you look like Chris Bumpstead.
I'd be orgasming every minute. Andone guy from Chicago went to there
to get it. I was followinghis story on it on Facebook about getting
the hair transplants, and then Ididn't hear anything from him. And then
like a month later, somebody wasjust like, did you hear about that
guy from Chicago went to Turkey toget hair transplant and he just dropped dead
(08:48):
in the cafe. And I wasjust like, I mean, my heart
broke it for this poor guy becausehere he is trying to, you know,
do something, and then he endsup dying. So what parts of
the world is the coffee really bad? And there's no sex in Indiana?
So maybe those hair transplant places shouldbe a coming down in other places.
(09:09):
But yeah, and that who knows. I don't know exactly the circumstances of
this person's death. Let's be real. I mean, if you're in a
Turkey, there's gorgeous men and thecoffee is amazing, I know, And
now I'm telling you not to drinkand have sex there, It's like jeez.
So anyway, anxiety. What's amedical tourist going to do? Oh
my god, my life is gonnaExact's what we get to. There's our
(09:33):
pivot to anxiety. Anxiety. WhenI think about anxiety and I think about
anxiety and a Jim. I rememberwatching this Netflix special on dogs. Do
you remember seeing that one on dogs? The Life of the Life of Dogs.
I watched so many dogs videos,I don't know which one I And
there's this guy who basically has thisisland of misfit dogs. So he's got
this island or that's out in thecountry somewhere, and he has all these
(09:56):
stray dogs and rescue dogs that'd staywith him, and I mean there's literally
hundreds of dogs, right, andso every day he kind of gets the
dogs to run up the hill andaround because he's like, if I don't
get them to run in a herdand burn off that energy, then they
just become super anxious and they haveall sorts of problems. So you literally
(10:20):
see this guy running, the dogsstart following him, and then they all
just start running, and some ofthe older dogs don't. They just kind
of like chill out. But thenthey come back and it's just like they're
just like, Okay, we gotour exercise, we did our thing for
the day. And so he's like, it's it just eases their mind and
just makes them more comfortable. Andso that's kind of like what I think
about going to the gym. Ialways think about, like for inspiration as
those dogs. Well, so areyou saying that the cause and the solution
(10:45):
are tied to each other with anxiety? So not exercising causes anxiety and the
solution is to exercise, but youdon't want to exercise because you have anxiety.
Yeah, kind of man, we'reall fucked. Well, it's a
catch twenty two is it's you know. But it's also like with exercise too.
It's one of those things that it'slike you can go to the gym
(11:07):
and you have a lot of energyor whatever, and then it just it
just depletes you. In the end. You're you're tired, right, they're
too tired of care that you yourlife is moved. But that other times
you like go to the gym andit gives you the energy you need.
Yeah right, Yeah, So it'skind of like sometimes you get out of
it, would you what you putinto it and want out of it?
Right, Well, you have toremind yourself why did you want to go
in the first place. What doyou want more? Do you want to
(11:30):
stay home or you want to gothere? And some of the people there's
like, you know, I'm notinterested in exercise. I'm happy being at
home and you know, doing someYouTube yoga. You know, it's like
they go watch a video on YouTubeand they follow it and stuff. But
you know, remember everybody has beenin your shoes, every single person that
is in that gym. And whenyou walk into this, you know,
a lot of these gyms just canseem enormous. So a lot of people
(11:54):
joining these shitty little I call themhotel gyms. You know, it's like
one or two treadmills in their apartmentcomplex. They have a rack of dumbbells,
some of them are missing. Theyhave a bench. But you're like
it's not clear what to do,and you're just standing there like going,
well, I guess I'll just gohome. And people I've seen this happen
(12:15):
and people just go to the gym, walk in the door, and turn
right around because they don't know whatto do. And that makes me so
sad because for us and for alot of our guests. It's a place
of happiness. It's a place whereyou can be like I'm working to change
myself or to pursue something that Iwant. This is a time for you.
You spend the rest of your lifegoing to some job trying to make
(12:39):
some asshole rich. You're trying toyou know, cook for somebody that besides
yourself, if you're you know, have a family, you're doing things for
other people. The gym is thetime for you to take care of yourself
so you can be there for otherpeople. And it's a really like deep
spiritual psychological state of being. Itcan be, it can be, and
(13:03):
it should be. You know,it's like you were saying, it's like,
well, if you're actious, you'renot paying attention. But you know
everybody's been in your shoes and everybody'sbeen worried it won't work. But you
know it's I had my my sistersaid to me one time, it's like,
think about you know, people thinkabout failure as a as a disappointment.
(13:24):
You know, they they're worried thatthey'll go to the gym for an
hour or a month or a yearand there will be no noticeable change.
That their life will stay the same, that they're going to make mistakes,
that they're going to hurt themselves. And you know, when you try something
and it doesn't work out, nowyou know that that thing that you tried
(13:46):
wasn't the right solution for you,and there's no other way to know except
to try it error. Yeah,So it's like maybe going to a yoga
class or CrossFit or something where it'sa group environment and you're surrounded by other
people who works in the same boatas you are, can be really empowering
and get you past that hump becauseyou know, sometimes it's like for me,
(14:07):
it's like, you know, workingout, I have to plan I
have to plan my my food beforehand. Uh you know what am I going
to drink, what I'm going towear? Where's my wireless headphones, where's
my lock where's my you know, wraps and you know, weight belts and
stuff like that. There's all theselittle things and if one of those things
that's messing, I'm like, fuck, my workout's like, you know,
(14:30):
not gonna be as much fun oras effective. And so because there's all
these little puzzles, you know,I make a little checklist for myself but
you know, ultimately, like themost rewarding thing about bodybuilding or just weightlifting
is that it's teaching you that withstructure, with tiny little steps, something
big can be accomplished. Is thatincremental change, right, And just any
(14:52):
kind of exercise is good exercise. It's like the Gospel size a little bit
at the beginning, a little morelater on, watching all the muscles grow.
That's how your body goes on andtake a look at the dumbbells.
Okay and so on. I'm sothank you, Patty level. Yeah,
(15:15):
I didn't know Patty Leveell was goingto make a surprise visit. Hi baby.
Yeah. So, you know, planning your workouts, there's one app
that we really like. It's calledthe Workout App. If you're not not
sure what you're doing and you don'tknow what to lift and all stuff,
and even like how much weight tolift, this app is. We don't
get any money from any of theseapps, right, so we're just this
(15:37):
is stuff we use. We likeit. The Workout app is great.
In terms of tracking your food.Chronometer is a really great app just because
it allows you to put in arecipe and then based on the weight of
your serving, you're going to beable to know the macronutrients, the calories
and so forth, and a lotof other apps can't do that. So
because you know, that's half thebattle is your nutrition. You can hit
(16:00):
it hard in the gym, butif you're you know, having too many
calories or not enough calories, ornot the right kinds of foods, then
it can be super detrimental or itcan be great. When you're getting started.
The first thing you can do,don't worry about the fats, don't
worry about the carbs, don't worryabout anything except your protein. Just try
to get one point five times yourbody weight and protein a day and a
(16:27):
lot of that. Like the minutethat people try to start doing that,
it starts changing everything. Because theywere like, because most people are protein
deficient, they're very very protein deficient, and so when they eat start this
protein, they're not They're like,I can't eat anything else, you know,
They're like, I don't want, you know, more rice or more
butter or whatever. It's just thatthey've got so full. And you know,
(16:51):
I think like a lot of peoplewho turn to like Atkins diets or
you know, Paleo diets, it'sa similar kind of reaction, right know,
because those diets are high in proteinand high in fats, people think
that there's somehow like there's something magicalabout that. But I think it's just
that they're not having enough protein andthey're not looking protein from whole foods because
(17:12):
protein builds muscle, muscle burns calories. Now, let's talk about the sexy
side of the gym. You meanthe locker room, all of this.
You know, performance artists an asprinkle post porn modernists. She's a porn
star who became a performance artist inthe nineties and she said she loved going
(17:33):
to the gym because the gym gaveher better orgastic ooh and so for her
she using the muscles. Yeah, yeah, she worked at Kegel Muscles.
Probably she'd worked at all the muscles. You know, and if your body
is a sexual machine, then youknow, exercising it it means better sex.
An orgasm is you know, alot of it is that tension.
You build up this tension release, tension release, tension release until you have
(17:56):
that big release. And you know, lifting weights is kind of the same
thing. You're putting your muscles undertension and then you're releasing them from that,
so it is kind of like you'rehaving like I wouldn't say, like,
you know, almost like a miniorgasm in a way. Yeah.
But like for example, like wherethe Roman dumbbell deb straight leg dead lifts,
I learned this one. I think, yeah, the Romanian one.
(18:19):
You know, so you're holding dumbbellsand you're almost like you're touching your toes
with these dumbbells. And I learnedthis from Josh Diesel, who's really hot,
you know and muscle muscular guy fitnessinfluencer. He said, when you
come up, squeeze your glutes likeyou're fucking somebody. And I was like,
can I imagine that with you?And so with that, like squeezing
(18:42):
your glutes when you came to thetop was really effective in helping me.
You know you yesterday you were like, have you done something different your Yeah,
And that was just from that onechange with from Josh Diesel. So
thank you, Josh for making myhusband's booty better. Well, you know
a lot of people, you know, the sexy side of the gym people
(19:03):
have a lot of anxiety about itbecause sex is a lot about looks,
and people worry about like do Ilook good? You know, And believe
me, we're all kind of goingto the gym for health, but we're
also trying to look good too.So you know, if you're anxious about
it, make sure that you knowyou're clean, you're wearing clean clothes,
you like your bathe, your bathes, because like sometimes like clean as a
(19:23):
you know, I know some timespeople show up to the gym and like,
well, I like that man set. I'm like, you know,
there is something about a man set, and there's there's also something about smelling
like ass. Yeah. I gotsomebody kicked out of the gym one time
because they wouldn't wear deodorant, andeverybody complained about that person and they were
just like and I said to them, I was like, baby, you
got to look I'm on tremble oneright now and that's why I'm gonna smell
(19:47):
like that. And I was justlike, you know, you need to
like bathe and be respectful of otherpeople's because this is a shared space.
Yeah, And that's a big mistakethat a lot of people make, is
like when they come to the gym, they're worried people are going to be
pissed off of them because they don'tknow any better. But part of that
is like it's it's the attitude thatyou do know better, that this this,
(20:08):
that you're not willing to learn andlisten to other people's feedback. And
one of things one sure way topiss somebody off is just don't rewrack your
weights. Just leave a big messthere for somebody else to clean up after
you, and some gims will kickyou out, oh for sure, you
know. And so that's that's wherethe you know, the anxiety comes from,
is like they're worried about not knowing. But if you're open, and
(20:30):
I think that's just like you knowwhere people talk about like cancel culture like
show if I say the wrong thingon your podcast, my career is over.
If I post something on Facebook andit hurts somebody's feelings, then I'm
going to lose my job. AndI'm like no, as long as as
as long as you're willing to listenand learn and love, yeah, then
(20:52):
you're going to be okay. Well, like you know, for example,
like sh newb mistakes, there's somethinglike one guy who was complaining about this.
He was trying to ask this guylike how long you're gonna be like
how many more sets do you haveon this machine? The guy was just
like, I'm using this machine. He's like, I know you're using it,
but like, how many sets doyou have left? He's like,
I'm using this machine and like hedidn't want to tell the guy like how
many sets it is because he did. This is but this is such like
(21:12):
a it's a common courtesy, Likeif you've been to a gym, it's
a common thing for people to askyou how many sets you've got left because
they're trying to plan their workout too, because you know, this is shared
equipment, it's a shared space, and so you know, give somebody and
if you don't know how many setsyou have left, then be like I'm
not sure how many I'm you know, be polite about it, but you
know, being dismissive to somebody, especially an old timer at the gym.
(21:33):
You don't want to screw with olderpeople because they have ways to fuck you
over you haven't even thought of yetfor twenty years. I mean, that's
why you always have to respect peoplewho are older, because they're going to
fuck your shit. They know ahundred different ways to fuck you up that
you've never even thought about. Youyou should have just gotten started. Yeah.
Well, you know, listen,I'm one of those people that's guilty
(21:56):
of like wanting to hog the spaceto myself. And if I see somebody
who's using a machine that I wantto use as well, I go up
to them and I say how manymore sets are going to have? And
they're usually like I just started,or they say something, you know,
to try to show you away. And so my next response is like,
well, do you mind if weshare it together? You don't want to
(22:18):
be a greedy person not share. And some people will absolutely rather than share
it, they will just up andleave the now it's so curb your enthusiasm.
Yeah, Larie, David would beproud of it. Why if we
just share it? No, justtake it? No? And what's even
better, So they get up andthey start wiping the seat, and you
(22:41):
say, don't worry about it,I clean it's fine, And so they
think, oh, this guy's reallydirty. He doesn't care about germs.
Yeah, and so they got upand they rock or away, you know.
You know part of it, listen, I want to create an environment
where people feel comfortable to share.Sharing is important, you know, because
you also learn some much from somebody, especially if you're sharing it with somebody
(23:02):
who knows what they're doing. LikeI had this one guy that I had
a huge crush on, you know, and he was showing me how to
do a triceps overhead cable extension, you know, and he was just really
friendly and really nice. But thenthe next time I saw him, he
was like, they don't want togive me the time of day because I
was a little too friend. Hewas, you, yeah, he's like,
(23:22):
this guy's a little too nice.I see hearts in your eyes.
Fausto's it's no homo. Well maybejust a little homo. So, you
know, if you're not sure whatto do, start your workout with Cardio.
Just got on the you know,we all know how to walk.
Get on the treadmill. Go listento some of the fabulous feasts of fun
(23:45):
podcasts, episodes, comedy albums, you know, watch the TV show comedy
albums like Eddie Murphy's Raw. Yeah, Eddie, why did you put your
dick in the sink? Eddie?I want heff That is, you listen
to Eddie Murphy's Delirious or Raw.You're gonna get in shape just by listening
(24:07):
and watching and laughing, you know, and then you're just like, going
to the gym is your treat. It's the time you get to like spend
time watching or listening to your favoritepodcast like this one. And you know,
sometimes it's like I listen to musicat the gym, but sometimes like
I'll catch up on my favorite TVshow and if it's like you know,
that way, I can kind oflike listen to it sometimes because you don't
always have to see what's happening. And if it's something that I'm like,
(24:30):
oh, I really need to seethis, maybe I'll go watch it again
when I get home, or I'llpause it and find something else to just
kind of listen to, you know, keep yourself entertained at the gym.
Yeah, Meta horphosis doesn't happen unlessyou're feeling cute to begin with, and
the best way to do that isget some clothes, some shorts, some
leggings that make you feel cute andhappy. We have a friend of ours
(24:53):
who is just this giant muscle hunk. You know. He weighs two hundred
and forty, sounds lean, gorgeous, pretty face, and insatiable sexual appetite,
and he wears the sluttiest clothes atthe gym and makes all the straight
homophobes super nervous. They're sweating. They're sweating, you know, and they're
(25:15):
because they're part of them. They'rethey're admiring him, you know. And
at the same time he's like unapologeticallysexual, you know, and to the
point I'm just like, you gogirl like fears you could pull it off.
I mean, what do you meanI try to dress? Oh you
do swham well. I mean,I just everybody has a different definition of
(25:36):
what sexy is. I don't likewearing tank tops because I feel like my
skin starts to you know, skidor you used to like wearing tank tops?
What do I don't know, justh I like muscle shirts. I
like the sleeves, but I feellike the tank tops kit is too much,
you know. But also like inthe summer it's better, so you
know, I bring it out andstuff, and part of it is like
I'm kind of like, you know, kind of like a lot of these
(25:59):
bodies builders. I wear a hoodie, then a T shirt and then a
tank top underneath it and peel itoff as the workout lower, the slower
reveal your pump covers, and Ihad this one guy was he was an
older gentleman. He's like, man, you strong as fuck, you strong
man. I was like, yourfriend's doing dumbbell bent press at one hundred
(26:19):
pounds. I'm only doing ninety, you know. Yeah, but you're a
little fella. Yeah. And soI was just like that. It was
so complimented because I was like,I feel like I'm struggling completely. You
know, so everybody at the gymthinks they're doing worse than they really are,
including you. You know the factthat you even got out of your
(26:41):
butt went to the gym and youwinded through the door. That's going to
be enough. And maybe taking ina little nap. You know, if
you're going to take a nap beforethe gym, don't make it go past
forty five minutes because your brain startsreleasing these hormones that make you go into
deep sleep. Oh and you don'twant I've slept a couple hours on a
nap before the gym before and wantto do on a regular name not on
(27:04):
a regular basis. But you know, if you if you feel you need
it, do it. You getpumped with little help from your friends,
bring a friend or make friends ofthe gym. You know. It's like
we have we have some people thatwe only the friends we only see at
the gym. We only see atthe gym, you know, and I
say to them, I was like, you know, talking lifting well,
you know, and those kind ofrelationships, those are those gym buddies that
(27:26):
you have, the person at thecount and the person you buy coffee from,
the person the grocery store that yousee like these people on a daily
basis. Those little human interactions thatyou have every day, they add up
and that's your community, that's yourwebbing. That's the thing that supports you
in your life. You know, you're not an island. You're not doing
this alone. There are people allaround you that have some kind of relationship
(27:48):
with you and that's and that's importantthat you honor that and respect that and
understand that that's helping you. Yeah, I mean God of spiritual here.
It's like you know, when religionsor faiths to talk about what God is
or what our connection to the universe, that's it. That's it's our connection
to all living things. And thatconnection we still don't fully understand why it's
(28:11):
so important in our well being andour resilience, and so when we remove
ourselves from that connection, we feela sense of emptiness. You know.
It's like, I mean, thinkabout like all the people who like I
live by theirselves, like Unibomber.Literally it's just you know, you lived
by himself in you know, avan by the river. You know,
it's like that isolation regardless regardless ofthe cause of it, the consequence can
(28:37):
be very detrimental to your well being. So you know, just being around
other people, I think in somedegrees is as helpful. And the gym
can be that tool for you. Now, if you live in a in
a rural area or in a placethat's isolated where you don't have access to
a full gym, then building onein your basement can be a really great
thing. And what about like theyou know, it's it's great to have
(29:00):
those, you know, those interactionswith the community, but what about the
people that like you don't like thatat the gym. So you had that
weird hook up with somebody and you'relike, oh, geez, I'm going
to see him at the gym.You know. You know, for some
reason, Mark, I never havethat problem because I'm the one that they're
trying to avoid that the other onethey're trying to avoid. Yeah, well
you know it's you know, thething is is like you're an adult,
(29:22):
right, and adults do things andthey go out and have sex with people
that maybe they they're not going tobe having sex with again, or go
on a date or something like that, and so the best he can do
is just you just be an adultabout it and just you know, screw
somebody else. You know, onenail removes another nails. What they say,
well, like even you know,in the dating hookup apps, it's
(29:44):
like, you know, there wasthis one guy who had a I didn't
realize he had a crush on me, you know, and we never we
never did anything sexual, Like wewere just flirting on social media on Instagram,
Facebook and such. And then oneday he find out that I have
a husband, you know you andhe was like livid. He was so
(30:06):
mad about it, really well foryears, Like he just gave me the
cold shoulder, you know, andhe's like all he said is like,
you're married. I was like, baby, you know, you think a
catch like me is going to staysingle? Come on, please? I
was like, I don't barely knowyou, and so you know, it
took him like a couple of yearsto over like, to forgive me for
(30:27):
being in love with someone else. And I was like, listen, you
know there's plenty of me to goaround, that's for sure. You can
have them Thursdays, Fridays and SaturdaySundays four pm when you're working out,
plan your meals, have some kindof yummy food waiting for you at home
(30:48):
when you're done, because there's thistemptation. And we're listen, we're just
as guilty as that is going outto eat, you know, especially you're
like, well, I did myworkout, I'm gonna gout myself up.
You know mac blt keeps a hotside hot and the cold OK, forty
years ago, but you know,I mean I'm guilty of that. I
will go and work out and afterwardsI will have a double cheeseburg and fries
(31:08):
sometimes because you know why I workedout. That doesn't work that way.
You can't get You cannot outrun abad die. It's not something I'm going
to do every day, but everynow and then. Hell yeah, Well
that's the expression if it fits yourmacros, and how much macros are you
fitting? There's pickles on there, there's cucumbers, there's tomatoes, lettuces.
(31:30):
Catch up, don't don't be listen. Here here's the here's the study that
we talked about last week. Howyou think about your food affects the outcome.
Have you believed that your food's goingto be nutritious and good for you,
even when it's a burgerm fries, you know, which is you know,
questionable. It's going to be betterfor your health and better for your
(31:52):
physique than if you think, ohmy god, this is you know,
poisoning me, surely, and Ithink that's the same case, you know.
So that's why people pray before theyeat, you know, or meditate
before you eat. So before youeat something, just spend a moment and
think about all the people in theworld that have loved you up until that
(32:13):
point to bring you into existence.Oh that's so sweet, and and think
about that gratitude, and think aboutall the people that made this meal possible,
and think and assume that that mealis going to be the best food
for you at that moment. Therewas a study that was done. They
give I think of like four hundredpeople milkshakes and they said to half the
(32:36):
group, this is this is ahealthy milkshake. Yucky, yucky, yucky,
but it's good for you. Andthen they gave the other half of
the group that the same milkshaked. This is decadent. It's so rich and
delicious. It's you know sometimes youjust kind of treat yourself. It's full
of ice cream and sugar and fat. Oh, and they were more satisfied.
Right, Well, it turns outthat the people that the it,
(33:00):
that thought the shake was healthy forthem, their bodies were able to process
the milk shape better than the peoplewho thought they were less satisfied. They
were less satisfied. Yeah, yeah, the people that thought of it as
the milkshape being indulgent were much moresatisfied with it. So the idea you
have to think about how you thinkabout your food is really important. You
(33:20):
have to think about it as beingbeneficial to you and satisfying that urge.
So, you know, it's partof it is like bodybuilding is learning how
to cook and you know, combingthere. Man, we live in a
time period right now. There's workouts, there's fitness advice and all that stuff,
but there's a lot of recipes outthere and YouTube you just search like
(33:42):
how to make you know, panexpress orange chicken without being fryed. Then
all of a sudden, yeah, with the air fryer, and you make
your own sauce and you can uselike monk fruit sugar to substitute for the
honey and that what's for dinner tonight. We can make that if you want
to, so, you know.At the same time, and I have
(34:04):
one of one of our listeners said, man, I'm so glad I'm doing
all this bodybuilding stuff. It's soimportant for me. It's my wellbeing,
my mental health. I just wishI did this ten years ago. And
you know, one of the hardestthings you're going to do in life is
forgiving somebody who's hurt you, who'signored you, who's let you down,
(34:25):
even if that person's you, especiallyif that person has you. It's the
hardest thing you're going to have todo. And when you can forgive yourself,
then you can put more energy intodoing the things you want to do.
And everybody starts somewhere. I mean, there's a lot of studies out
there for people who build muscle afterthe age of sixty, seventy or eighty,
Like it's never too late. Andthen one thing that they focus on
(34:49):
is like you have to do resistancetraining and you have to get protein.
So it doesn't matter how old youare. You can start now. I
mean, you know, you canslow down almost in some ways verse your
aging if you can. And onething that's interesting about you know a lot
of these bodybuilders that I've observed isthat especially you know, once they start
juicing, they're like they're willing totry anything. You know, like a
(35:13):
lot of people, like, youknow, especially younger people, look at
like hard drugs like math, k, ecstasy, cocaine, oh, all
the ones. Yeah, they're like, I'm not going to do that.
That's crazy. You know. It'slike but you know, they get on
into the steroids and suddenly they're like, oh, okay, Oh do you
think the steroids is a gateway drugto other Do I think anything is a
(35:35):
gateway to something else. Anything experiencethat you have in life, especially if
it's a positive experience, it makesyou think, like my fear, my
anxiety was you know, over orover exaggerated. That's part of the reason
why people get addicted to heroin isbecause they do heroin and they're like fine,
(35:58):
and the next day, What wasall the worry, all the fuss.
Oh my god, this is somuch fun. I can do this
on the weekends, no big deal. And then that's where it gets you,
because you just don't start noticing thatyou're digging yourself into a hole that
you can't get out of. Andyou know, when it comes to hard
(36:19):
drugs, and you know, andMike Mentzer, one of the most famous
bodybuilders, struggled profoundly with a harddrug addiction. And part of it is
like I you know, he wasnot able to see the cage that he
had put himself in because, likehe did, his pre workout was math,
right, you know. And I'lltell you this the listeners. I've
(36:43):
smoked math and then gone to thegym. I've smoked crack and gone to
the gym. This is a longtime ago. And when I was like
nineteen, at our roommate, shewas kind of sketchy as she went day.
She's like, oh, I foundthis math, let's smoke it.
And I was like, okay, whatever, And so I looked it and
went to the gym and had amarvelous workout. You know. Of course,
(37:04):
I fell off my bicycle on theway to the gym twice from the
math well, because I know thisis from crack, smoking crack. And
then you know, about ten twentyyears later, I had a friend of
mine and he was like smoking mathand I was like, let's smoke it
and go to the gym. AndI went to the gym and I just
didn't feel like doing anything. Iwas just like, this is bullshit.
(37:24):
I just well meant it could bea real motivator for some people. For
some people clean their apartment, they'llsell costumes, they'll go to the gym,
do all sorts of stuff. Well, there was that pre workout jacked
that had dimethylamine in it, andthen the FDA said, oh no you
don't, so you do math andjust get enough protein, and like it's
or will math eat muscle? Well, I think part of it is with
(37:46):
these you know, it's important tothink of like crack, cocaine, meth,
anything that's an upper works kind ofin the same way. So it's
like making this deciction. Well,I'm you know, I'm vegan, so
I only do cocaine because cocaine comesfrom plants, and meth is a chemical.
It's like honey. All of themhave the same things. It's like,
(38:07):
in fact, you know the thingyou got to be most worried about
is fentanyl because that ship is goingto kill you. Get your shit tested.
I still don't understand why drug dealersare putting fetanyl and things that are
supposed to stimulate you, and fedanylis a doubt. It's called synergy center,
so you put when you put twodrugs together, they produce a greater
(38:29):
effect than if they were individual drugs. And I know that some of you
listeners are you know from talking toyou, guys are balancing or struggling or
interested in doing performance enhancing drugs andhard drugs simultaneously. And so this conversation
here is about harm reduction. I'mnot here to discourage you one way or
(38:50):
another. I'm here to tell youthat's like you got to take steps in
curbing that harm so it doesn't Soit gives you as many options as you
can if you decide to stop anyof those drugs, and part of that
is taking supplements to protect your liver, protect your blood pressure, protect your
(39:10):
your kidneys. And one of themost effective ones is n acetyl cysteine or
soldas NAC, having twelve hundred milligramsin the morning and at night when you're
on a hardcore cycle can be veryeffective in protecting your liver and your and
your kidneys. And what is NACis that it's an amino acid, Okay,
Yeah, So the amino acid's nameis n A subtyle cysteine, Okay.
(39:36):
And so this helps with your kidneysbecause like if you're on, if
you're on, it helps to protectyour your mostly your your bile. But
it basically it's it's a it's it'san amino acid that helps your body purge
toxins. And so that along witht U d C A and I don't
know, I'm not going to pronouncethe whole todka, but the full where
(40:00):
it's like it's like from Bare biowarebyl Yeah, so along those two synthetic.
Now now it's synthetic, so it'snot from Bears five hundred milligrams daily
wherever you can Cissius quin drag Lagurasis another one, or just siss us,
you know, taking two or threepills of that stuff a day and
(40:22):
touring can actually be really effective inlowering your blood pressure. Naturally, between
three thousand and four thousand milligrams twicea day, and you think, you
know, you're like, oh,I'll just drink a red Bull. Go
read the nutrition label on a redBull doesn't even have like five milligrams of
touring well, because you're like ifyou're on a bunch of gear, it's
(40:43):
you know, you're mostly worried aboutthe effects of what blood pressure is doing.
Right, So the blood pressure, like if it gets too high,
it's going to can ruin your kidneys, it can give you heart disease,
it can be bad for your liverand for your brain function really, and
so it's about most of this istrying to keep that under control. And
if you do something like drinking alcoholit can be just and smoke it can
(41:05):
be just terrible for your blood pressure, and you know it'll kill your gains
if you have a heart attack. So find a doctor you trust and tell
them I'm doing steroids, I'm smokingcrack or meth or doing lines of coke.
Get them to prescribe you stuff thatcan help you sleep better, because
one of the things that's most compromised, even if you're not doing hard drugs,
(41:27):
is your ability to sleep. Becauseall this stuff is very like it's
stimulating your adrenaline glance and so askinga doctor for a prescription, what was
that you said? Hello? Hello? Testsin or well. I have friends
who've been in like recovery or likethey're alcoholics, and so you know when
they go on binges and stuff, they usually get some kind of like hell
(41:47):
dollar or something like that prescribe, whether the doctor to help with you know,
the DTS or coming out the alcohol. So you know, there's these
wellness clinics that are around, andso if you're going on some kind of
like party binge, maybe plan somethingfor the end of it. Like if
you're out all weekends, like maybeMonday morning, you're going to the clinic
to get an IV drip or something. Yeah, even going like actually those
(42:13):
sailing IV drips are really great, you know, and in Las Vegas they're
all over the place. There's oxygenbars that you can put an oxygen mask
on yourself. But you know, just getting enough sleep and water and the
right medication to block the receptors inyour brain that are being stimulated and keeping
from sleeping is you know, harmreduction. And ask your doctor for a
(42:37):
prescription, talk to them and ofcourse always test your drugs for fetanyl and
get a free narcan from a gayhealth center to keep it nearby in case
there is a risk of overdosing, because that could save your life, you
know. And if you want toknow more about this stuff, just message
me on Instagram. I am acoach, I'm consultant. We can set
(42:58):
up a session and for nine dollarswe can go over what you're doing and
no judgment here and making recommendations onhow to talk to your doctor, where
to find the help you need, and also like what to do right now
to make yourself feel better. Solet's go into some question. Sure you
(43:19):
know this one comes from David. My new job is more physical than the
old one, and although I've lostthirty pounds, I'm still not happy with
my body fat. Worst of all, my butt is smaller. What can
I do when any exercises we're makingmy butt tight and my stomach flat?
(43:39):
Well, I mean your butt isyou called the gluteus maximus. It is
the biggest muscle in the body. It's a second one, yes, one?
Yeah? After what my dick?Yeah, dick is a rectile tissue.
I mean there's some muscle kind ofgoing on there, but it's mostly
just that just because you've heard thejoke before, it doesn't mean funny to
(44:00):
somebody else. Proceed. So thekey with the key with the build bigger
butt is definitely you want to dosquats and you want to do hip thrusts,
anything that's going to engage that butt. Stare master. Get I'm the
Staremaster for an hour and you know, in four or five months, tell
me how your butt looks. Yeah. Actually, one guy that was,
you know, a regular hard druguser that we knew at the gym,
(44:23):
he was always on that stare Masterand his butt looked fabulous. Oh yeah.
And you know, let's face it, some of these guys that do
those hard drugs, they're not thespitting image of fitness or you know,
health. It's you know, ifyou do know somebody is like doing a
lot of drugs and they look good, talk to them because they really know
(44:44):
what they're doing, they really knowwhat to overcome. And yeah, the
stare master is really one of themost effective and the easiest ways to do
cardiovascular exercise that trains your glutes andflattens out your stomach, you know,
but ultimately, you know, flatteningout your stomachs is going to be not
necessarily from your abdominals, but fromreducing your caloric intake just enough, not
(45:05):
too much, to then start yourbody losing fat. And you know,
twenty minutes of cardio every day orfive days a week can go a long
ways to getting you there. Whatalso do they say, like you know,
if you get a lot of bellyfat and that's where it collects rather
than other parts of your body,it might also do with your cortisol levels,
which is a stress hormone, andthat helps your body create fat around
(45:27):
your belly. And so you gotto figure out maybe what are you stressed
out about and try and eliminate someof that stress from your life. Dan
wants to know how long does ittake to look like you? To look
like me? That's a question,like you know, I asked a lot
of times. It's like your Iwant to build muscle and look the way
(45:50):
you do, and I want toknow how long it's going to take.
And part of me, like Ifind that question to be setting yourself up
for more a difficult road ahead, because it's like you know, when you're
on a long road trip, ifyou're having fun, it doesn't matter how
long it takes to get there becauseyou're having fun on the journey. But
(46:13):
if you're like hating the trip, you're like, how long is this going
to take? Three hours? Right? Oh my god, you know,
two hours, you know, andso what should have been a joyful experience
now becomes our duist and you'll neverwant to do it again. But you
know, for people who are newto lifting, you can expect to gain
(46:37):
about five to fifteen pounds of musclein a year, and as you do
this longer and longer, you havediminishing gains without steroids. So two years
is about three to ten pounds ayear, five years about two to seven.
And then like me, you know, gaining muscle after ten years of
lifting regularly, it's about two poundsa year. So if you're getting old
(47:00):
or you've been lifting for a longtime and you're going to continue making those
those gains, you know, youryour friend trend blown and supplement to keep
it if you want to pack onmore. Yeah, so it has to
happen early on. You're going toget good, like more results, and
then over time it's you're gonna getsome diminishing returns because your body is getting
(47:21):
to the state where it kind ofwants to be right. But I've seen
guys who are like, you know, I know they're natural. I believe
them, and they have phenomenal physiques. Like one friend of mine, Brad,
he's a car dealership, and I'mlike, why are you not competing
in a bodybuilding contest. It's like, I just didn't. That's for fun.
It doesn't sound like Paul end buthe should. I just do it
(47:45):
for the attention from the buys. But you know, I think also people
want to know, like what kindof results are they going to see immediately?
And there's a common trend they say, if you really want to see
results immediately in your physique, formost people, and these are people that
aren't working out or haven't really putmuch into it, is just try and
lose ten pounds and see what yourbody looks like. That it's going to
(48:07):
make your dick bigger. It'll makeyour big dick bigger, but it's going
to be a profound change. Andthen you know, work on that getting
work on that muscle, and youcan do both at the same time,
but you know, get the dietcorrect and figure out what kind of exercises
and what kind of regime you geton. But those you know, even
with me, like if I losefive pounds, I just see it in
my face and you know, Ipersonally, you know, like it and
(48:30):
people will notice it. Can yousay, it's going to make your dick
bigger? Three times faster, It'sgoing to make your dick bigger. It's
going to make your dick bigger. It's going to make your dick bigger.
You have a small waist, yes, also depending on the angle of the
camera. We'll do another. Doit you we're waiting. Tell us what's
the secret a photo of her bigdick? Well, it's always nicer,
(48:52):
like if you can get somebody elseto take a picture of your dick,
because I feel like somebody has anangle of it, like some of Fauser's
dick picks that he sends out,Like those are photos I've taken. Yeah,
that's true. People go like, who's that. I was like,
that's my husband, and they're like, who's taking that photo? Oh?
I put it? You tell mewas on a timer. I put it
(49:13):
on a tripod on a time.My girlfriend did it? They like it
if I said it was my girlfriend. You don't necessarily want a greasy dick
in it because like you know, you don't want to don't grease up your
poll, you know, or ifyou whatever, just I mean, I
guess a little glistening, but youjust don't want it, like I mean,
some people might find it hot.But if you want it to look
big, try and angle it insuch a way where your waist looks smaller.
(49:37):
H And also like get your dickso suck it in the camera closer
to the dick for shorten it.Well. You can also just push your
you know, the same way youpush your bicep to make it bigger.
You can take your stomach and justpull it up and then it pulls back
on the on the skin around yourdick and makes it is that right forward?
Yeah? And how is that goingto look in the photo? I
(49:58):
don't know. Try it. That'sabout you know, all all advice,
all these podcasts and body You alsowant to side just try it and see
if it works, you know,So you want one like kind of aimed
at the photo so it looks bigand long. You also want to side
one so that people can see itfrom the side, so that they they
can trust a photo. You don'twant just like a little head popping out
(50:21):
from your underwear. That's not it'skind of well, it's like some of
these people, you know, they'redick connoisseurs like you. They're like,
they want to see a three Dthree hunderds of you know, print three
D printer model of someone's dick,be able to rotate it up and down
and everything. And I'm like, and then sometimes some of these guys,
they're bottoms, and they said, this is this is an aside here.
(50:44):
They send you photos of their ass, like fifty photos of their ass,
right and nothing else. And ofcourse I respond to it's like, so
are your bottom? Yeah? Areyou top? Are you top? And
they're like, well you think it'sso mad about it, you know,
And I'm like, listen, youknow you're sending me fifty photos of your
ass there. I'm sure your faceis beautiful. I'm sure the rest of
(51:06):
your body's beautif let's see it.It might not be, but you know,
I have to say that it probablyworked. It probably they do it,
so it probably works for them. You know. Well it's because they
know they they want you to focusa lot of attention on our booty,
you know, And and you know, the butt is the seat of power,
well your body movement. Yeah, those that colleges are now recruiting people
(51:30):
for years by looking at their athletes. But yes, like like like a
gay guy at a stripper club, like they look at that bubble butt.
They're like, he's got a bubblelot. They call it a bubble butt,
an anchor butt, a Coca Colabooty, all sorts of things.
If it's not like if you're playingfootball and you don't have a big butt,
they're not going to recruit you, damn. You know, well because
(51:51):
it's also you know, theater likethat. I'm a big fan of the
Savannah Bananas. So they're a baseballteam from Savannah, Georgia, and they're
kind of like the Harlem Globe Trottersof of baseball. So they make the
opposing team we're pink and they wearthese like leopard yew bright yellow outfits and
they do a lot of musical theaterand dancing and it's all very like homoerotic.
(52:15):
So, like one video that's circulatingon the internet is the Savannah Bananas
recreating the ending scene from Dirty Dancing, and so the picture and the umpire
get it picture of the catcher thecatcher. Yeah, the picture and the
catcher get it, get it aresinging a love song to each other.
(52:36):
That was a very nineties thing.I feel. Oh yeah, gay guys
would wear T shirts that's a pitcheror catcher, right, you don't see
that much anymore. But I'm surprisedthere's somebody queer involved in the Savannah bananas
or you know, we're all gayfor muscle, right, But so this
they recreated this thing and you know, the scene where baby gets thrust it
(52:57):
into the air by Patrick Swayze isreally hard to do, Like I've actually
done that, and it's like withsomebody who was about the same weight as
me at the time, and Iwas just like, man, I'm want
to drop this oneman on the floor, you know. And so they did
this with a guy who I couldI would say he's about two hundred and
thirty pounds and this little catcher he'syou know, he's tight, he's an
(53:20):
and he had a nice, bigfat package. Until a friend of mine
at work, who's a baseball formerprofessional baseball player, said to me was
like, oh no, that's acup. It's a cup, yeah,
And I was like, God,damn it. I mean it might it
might be holding something back, butit's a cup. And I was like,
man, I wanted to have thetime of my life. Nobody sits
foust on the corner. Maybe it'slike a chastity about for these guys.
(53:45):
So yeah, So Savannah bananas,if you ever get a chance to see
them. If you're not fan ofbaseball but you love crazy, whacked out
stuff, go see it. Well, I am a fan of Savannahs and
of bananas. Yeah. In NewYork City, there's a there's a ban
on police officers using steroids. Well, now there's a New York's The cop
(54:09):
union is suing the police commissioner andthe Mayor of New York because they have
the zero zero tolerance policy for NewYork police officers using steroids and other performance
enhancing drugs. And they've had somethinglike this on the books before. You
know, you have to have likesome kind of like doctor's permission or something
(54:30):
like that. But before, likefrom twenty eleven, when they made this
rule, they just said, youknow, you're not allowed to have this,
but they didn't say that you neededlike a doctor's excuse. And now
I guess they're coming along and sayingyou need some kind of like doctor's permission
to be using any kind of likesteroid or human growth hormone or something like
that. Because Ronnie Coleman in Texas, he would have been fucked. Was
(54:52):
he a police officer. He was, Oh wow, you imagine getting pulled
over by him to be like yesor whatever. I've pulled this off Reddit
and read it's all just like Ican't believe police officers are on store woids.
They're mostly like look like they're outof shape, but I don't know,
I've seen a lot of cops thatlook like they're definitely royed it up.
There was, you know, atthe gym, the the La Fitness
that I worked out in the suburbsof Chicago. One day, they broke
(55:15):
into the lockers and they stole youknow, the funny somebody broke in.
Yeah, somebody did and was stealingship and thankfully like nothing was like my
locker was broken and stuff was likerummage around. They didn't want to steal.
They didn't even steal the money inmy wallet, which was really weird.
Maybe I was the one who didit, but anyways, so I
(55:36):
was like, you know, callthe police. And so the police came
and there was this like, youknow, a woman and this hunk.
I mean, you know, Ihad the time hungry eyes. One look
at you and UH can't fantasize.I got hungry guys. And so this
(55:59):
this cop, you know, andthe woman, and she's the woman is
trying to get me, like totalk about what happened, and of course
I'm just staring at this gorgeous gorgeoushe's got in his number. He were
going to rather kill me than hewas. And he's like, maybe he's
on the down low. And soso he came by the place I work
(56:20):
again, and one of the cleaninglady says, man, what is up
with the cops in this neighborhood.I was like, you know, probably
they have a cushy job and theyjust lift weights. They only hire hot
guys, or they hire hot guysor something. She's like, if that's
how the cops look like in thisneighborhood, I want to start commingting crimes.
Arrest me, please, arrest me, do your worst. Yeah,
(56:42):
take me to the incursor. Yeahthat's that thin blue line, more like
a thick blue line. Terrible, terrible. Okay, So a question from
Melanie wants to know how much doyou bench? Fausto, what's up?
Bra? What's up? Uh?You know? How much do you BENU?
I feel comfortable question? Yes,it's a stupid question. You hate
(57:06):
it and most bodybuilders hate it.Yeah, because part of it is like
safety first, and when you focusabout how much you bench, you're going
to hurt yourself and that heart. You know, getting injured sets you back
on your goal. You will getinjured if you're an athlete of any kind,
but especially one where you're pushing yourselfweek after week, you know.
(57:28):
And so you know in terms oflike I don't, I don't. Like
I used to measure my one repmax and used to be about three plates
on each side, But at theage of fifty two, there's no way
I'm doing that, you know.So I would say, like two forty
five pound plates on each side iscomfortable. But you know, it's like
it's a it's a you know,how much you bench? Is also like
(57:50):
a vague question because you can lookat that from all kinds of different angles,
like three sets of ten your onerep maximum, And so I tell
people it's like, you know,I I don't really use the bar for
a traditional bench press, I doa decline or inclined, but I seldom
ever do a traditional bench because Ijust find that it puts your shoulder about
twenty five is that right? Yeah? So what is that for ninety?
(58:14):
Yeah? Two twenty five? Okay, so you know whatever. But to
me, I was like, ifyou want to know what I'd do,
my last set usually is about sixto ten reps of ninety pounds on an
inclined dumbell. So there you go. Now you're stronger than me. Don't
you feel better? Enviro with yourselfninety pounds inclined, inclined dumbbell bench press.
(58:36):
Okay, now, but I dothat too. Like if I see
somebody that I admire and they're liftingweights in a video, I pause it
to see what they're lifting and stuff. Yeah, you want to know,
But you know, some of theseguys like something, you know, like
that what is it that Jojo JeoffreyVasso, that Jojo Rush from France and
who's gorgeous and has this phenomenal physique. You know, he's really strong,
(59:00):
you know. So it's part ofit is like it safety comes first,
but you really do want to trickyourself or train yourself to to lift more
and heavier. So this is likea question that comes a lot to us,
and I don't know, my apologiesgot in right down the name.
Is it better to do higher repswith low weights or low reps with heavy
(59:23):
weights, or drop sets or rest, pause, or squeeze the muscle or
don't squeeze the muscle. And partof it is it's it's a it's a
it's your box of crayons to paintthe bigger picture right to draw with.
It's a it's a set of toolsto basically get bigger by lifting more over
(59:45):
time, because if you want biggermuscles, bigger weights will get you there.
And sometimes if you've been doing, you know, three sets of ten,
do four sets of eight, orif you've been doing four sets of
twenty, do five sets of six, you know, like change mix it
around and that because uh, youknow, heavy lifting heavy is going to
(01:00:09):
recruit different muscle tissues than lifting forendurance. And sometimes when you lift with
lightweight, you can squeeze the musclesmore to get more blood in there,
you know, which leads us tothis other question or more something we want
to draw attention to is kisses. So what did you discover about kissing that
(01:00:30):
you didn't know before? Well, you know that one of the things I
always tell people is like stress iskills muscle. You know, so when
you're fighting with somebody, Joey Swallthat poor guy just had like some major
heart operation and it didn't mean tobe poor guy. Hop what do they
drop the tool in his heart?Or yeah, they went in there,
(01:00:52):
they dropped a tool in his heartand it was supposed to be a forty
five minute operation and it turned outto be a six hour So with his
life at risk and it's probably acompromised and I'm like, you know what,
get a lawyer and sue, becausehospitals won't think twice about going after
everything you love and own to paythose bills. But the minute they fuck
(01:01:13):
up and suddenly it's like, oh, well you signed a release and I'm
like, contracts don't mean shit.Well, you know, get a lawyer,
Peter Francis Jerrasi, give him acall. I'm sure Joey can handle
his own business. And I toldhim, I said, don't let these
fuckers off the hook. You know. It's like that trip to the hospital
at the very least should be free. You should not be paying. They
(01:01:37):
messed up on you. But anyways, stress conflict, not being chilled.
It's a gas killer, is agains killer because it raises the stress hormones.
And so one thing that I've discoveredand being married to the most beautiful,
charming, charismatic man in the worldmark Feelian, is that kissing someone
(01:01:57):
you love helps to call me down, helps to create a feeling of belonging.
And so six seconds is all ittakes, is a sex second kiss
on the lips to release oxytocin ortwenty second hug. And if you can't
kiss a person, adopt a dog, pet them, or just touch yourself,
(01:02:22):
you know, just pet yourself.I'm not talking about sexual things,
but you know, touch your bodyany kind of Yeah, get cozy,
get in the hot bathtub, getyou know, wash your bed sheets,
be cozy, Watch your favorite comedyshows. Anything that releases happiness and a
(01:02:42):
sense of belonging will release oxytocin, and that helps the build muscle. And
that's pretty much all we have foryou guys today. Let's grow big together.
