Speaker 1 (00:00):
On today's show, we are sharing a prayer for the
women who lead with purpose in the tapestry of ministry.
The women who stand up the pulpit, behind the desk,
and in the trenches of service often carry burdens unseen
by the world. With each sermon preached, each prayer offered,
and each life touched, women clergies serve as pillars of strength, faith,
and endurance in the Kingdom of God. Yet the weight

(00:23):
they bear is often heavy. The cause of leadership, the
spiritual warfare, the demands of family, ministry, and personal growth.
They face challenges both known and unknown, but they rise
with unwavering conviction, driven by a divine purpose that transcends
every trial. This prayer is for the women who lead
with purpose, the women who are called to shepherd God's

(00:43):
flock and to inspire transformation in the hearts and minds
of others. It is a prayer of recognition, honor, and empowerment,
acknowledging the sacred calling that women and ministry carry, one
that is equal parts grace and strength, vision and action,
wisdom and compassion. Acknowledge the battle. Father, we come before you,
lifting up the women who have answered your call to

(01:05):
lead with purpose. We recognize the spiritual battle they face
each day, the resistance, the doubts, and the challenges that
rise against them. We acknowledge the till it takes on
their hearts and minds as they pour out their lives
to serve You in your people. Yet in the midst
of every battle, you have given them the strength to rise,
to stand firm, and to keep moving forward. We ask

(01:27):
for your divine protection to cover these women of God,
protection from discouragement, from isolation, from the voices that attempt
to undermine their calling, strengthen their resolve to trust in
your voice above all others, and surround them with the
community that lifts them up, encourages them, and helps them
bear the weight of their mission. Praying for wisdom and guidance, Lord,

(01:48):
we pray for wisdom to guide the decisions of these
women who stand as leaders in your kingdom as they
shepherd your people. May their hearts be aligned with your will.
Grant them discernment to see beyond the surface, to hear,
to hear your voice clearly, and to lead with integrity
and humility. When they feel weary, May Your spirit renew
them with strength and clarity when they feel overwhelmed. May

(02:09):
they find rest in You. Help them to navigate the
delicate balance between family, ministry and personal life, and grant
them the wisdom to lead in every area with grace
and peace, Empowering them for the journey. Holy Spirit, empower
these women with the gifts they need to fulfill their calling.
Pour out your anointing on their ministry, their leadership, and

(02:30):
their hearts. Fill them with boldness and confidence as they
speak truth, as they lead worship, as they guide others
to Your throne of grace. Let their lives be a
reflection of Your glory, and may the fruit of their
labor be abundant. We ask you to grant them a
deep sense of purpose, knowing that their work is never
in vain. Help them to understand the eternal impact of
their leadership. How the seeds they plant today will bloom

(02:53):
for generations to come. Strengthening their inner women, Father, we
also pray for the women behind the ministry, the daughters,
the wives, the mothers, the sisters. These women are not
only called to serve in the church, but are often
the quiet warriors at home, balancing the responsibilities of life
with their call to lead. Strengthen their inner women fortify

(03:15):
their hearts and equip them to be the women you
have created them to be. May they find moments of
peace and stillness where they can rest in your presence,
be restored, and find the strength to press on. Remind
them daily of their worth and the incredible value they
bring to your kingdom. Let them feel your arms around them,
affirming their call and affirming their worth. Closing with the

(03:35):
blessing Lord, we ask for a mighty outpouring of your
favor upon the women who lead with purpose. May they
walk boldly in their calling, knowing that you are with
them every step of the way. Bless their work, their families,
their ministries, and their personal lives. Let them experience your
joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. And when the

(03:55):
day is long and the road is hard, may they
remember that they are never alone, for You are their
constant companion, their faithful guide, and their source of strength.
We thank you for the women who lead with purpose.
May they continue to shine brightly in this world, reflecting
your love, your grace, and your power. In Jesus name,
we pray Amen.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
