Empowered for the Journey by Embracing God’s Promises for Women in Ministry

Today on this podcast, we are sharing empowered for the
journey by embracing God's promises for women in ministry. Scripture
focus Some twenty three six, New King James version, and
it reads, Surely Goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life, and I will dwell in
the House of the Lord forever. As women called into ministry,
the journey we walk can often be fraud with challenges.

(00:22):
Yet Some twenty three six serves as a powerful reminder
of the strength, confidence, and security we can find in
God's promises. It offers us a foundation to stand on
even when the path feels uncertain or when we face
struggles as women in clergy. Through this verse, we can
draw deep empowerment and assurance for our ministry journey, knowing
that God's goodness and mercy will always be with us.

The assurance of God's goodness Some twenty three is a
beloved sum that reassures us of God's constant presence and care.
As women in ministry, we know that the road can
be difficult. The demands of serving others, balancing family and
ministry life, and navigating the complexities of leadership can leave
us feeling drained. Or uncertain, but God promises us that

his goodness will follow us all the days of our lives.
His goodness is not merely a passive presence. It is active,
moving ahead of us, preparing the way and ensuring that
every step we take is accompanied by His favor. In
the context of women clergy, this goodness takes on a
very personal meaning. God's goodness provides the strength we need
to face opposition, to overcome doubts, and to lead with

grace and courage. It reminds us that our worth is
not determined by the challenges we face, but by the
grace and goodness that is always within reach. Embracing the
mercy that follows us alongside his goodness, God promises of
his mercy. Mercy is God's tender hearted forgiveness and compassion
towards us, even in our weakness. As women in ministry,

we often face the added weight of being the first
in many spaces, breaking barriers, facing skepticism, and enduring extra scrutiny.
In these moments, God's mercy is a constant balm to
our souls. When we feel weary, when we make mistakes,
when we wonder if we are doing enough, God's mercy
reminds us that He is with us. His mercy doesn't

just follow us, It envelops us, offering us forgiveness, healing,
and renewal. It empowers us to keep going, knowing that
our mistakes do not define us. Instead, God's mercy is
there to wash over us, empowering us to press forward
in faith and service, dwelling in God's House forever. Finally,

in the House of the Lord forever. As women in ministry,
our calling is not just about what we do for God.
It is about where we abide. We are called to
dwell in His presence, to find our identity in Him,
and to rest in the security of His eternal love.
Ministry may take us to places of hardship and sacrifice,
but the invitation to dwell in God's house is an
invitation to intimacy with our Creator. It is an invitation

to be nourished, strengthened, and revived by His presence. The
word dwell signifies not just visiting or passing through, but
establishing ourselves in a place of peace, worship, and relationship
with God. No matter what the world throws at us.
We are always welcome in the house of the Lord.
There we are nurtured for the work he has called
us to, renewed for the battles ahead, and comforted by

his unshakable promises. Empowering women clergy today Some twenty three
six provides an anchor of empowerment for women in ministry.
As we stand firm in the goodness, mercy, and presence
of God, we are reminded that we are not alone
in our calling. God's goodness follows us, his mercy sustains us,
and his presence secures us. With this promise, we can

approach our ministries with renewed vigor, knowing that we are
empowered not by our own strength, but by the unshakable
foundation of God's love. To every woman in ministry listening
to this, know that you are equipped with the journey ahead,
even in the midst of challenges. God's goodness and mercy
will never depart from you. Your calling is not just
about the work you do, but the life you lead

in His house, where you will dwell forever. Keep moving
forward knowing that He is with you every step of
the way. Prayer, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the
promise of your goodness and mercy. As women called into ministry,
we lean on your strength and guidance. Empower us to
walk boldly in our calling, knowing that we are supported
by your unchanging love. When we grow weary, remind us

of your mercy, and when we feel uncertain, help us
to dwell on your presence. Thank you for being with
