Speaker 1 (00:00):
On today's show, we are sharing permission granted, releasing the
woman you were created to be. The conference room fell
silent as the CEO asked for ideas. Though my mind
raised with a solution I believed would work, I hesitated
doubted second guest, maybe my idea isn't good enough. What
if they think I'm overstepping Someone else probably has a

(00:22):
better suggestion. By the time I finally worked up the
courage to speak, another colleague had proposed nearly the identical
idea to immediate praise and approval. Sound familiar? How many
times have you silenced yourself? How often have you dimmed
your light, downplayed your gifts, or denied your wisdom? How
frequently have you sought permission to be who you already are?

(00:44):
Sister today that changes. Consider this your official notice permission
granted the permission trap. From earliest childhood, many of us
were conditioned to seek external approval before acting, raise your
hand before speaking, ask for leaving the table, get permission
before making decisions. These childhood rules create necessary order, but

(01:07):
many women never outgrow this permission seeking mindset. We carry
it into adulthood unconsciously believing we need approval to use
our God given voice, pursue our deepest dreams, set necessary boundaries,
prioritize our own well being, embrace our authentic selves. This
permission trap keeps countless women living at half capacity, always checking,

(01:31):
always doubting, always waiting for someone to say, yes, you may.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Second Timothy one seven. Notice what this verse declares. You
already possess power. You already have love, You already own
a sound mind capable of making decisions. These aren't things

(01:52):
you need to request. Their gifts already granted. The authority
you already have. When Jesus send out his descisiples in
Luke ten nineteen, he told them, I have given you authority.
Non I will give you authority if you prove worthy,
or you will receive authority when someone important validates you.
He stated, it is accomplished fact, authority already given. The

(02:14):
same is true for you. You don't need to earn
the right to walk in your purpose. You were created
on purpose for purpose. Your assignment was encoded in your
DNA before birth. For we are God's HANDI work created
in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared
in advance for us to do Ephesians two ten. Use

(02:34):
your unique voice. Your perspective, shape by your specific experiences
is needed. No one else sees the world exactly as
you do. Let your light shine before others that they
may see your good decent. Glorify your Father in heaven
Matthew five sixteen. Set healthy boundaries. You are responsible for
stewarding your energy, time, and well being above all else.

(02:57):
Guard your heart for everything you do flow from it.
Proverbs for twenty three. Pursue healing in holness. Your well
being matters to God beloved. I pray that you may
prosper in all things and be in health, just as
your soul prospers third John one two. You already have
divine authorization for these things. You're not waiting on permission.

(03:19):
You're waiting on your own decision to use what you've
already been given. Breaking the approval addiction. For many women,
seeking external validation becomes an addiction more powerful than any substance.
We become dependent on other's approval for our sense of
worth and direction. The symptoms of approval addiction include excessive
apologizing for having needs or opinions, inability to make decisions

(03:43):
without consulting multiple people, physical anxiety when others disagree with
your choices, abandoning your own values to maintain relationships, exhaustion
from constantly shaped shifting to please others. The cure begins
with a radical truth. You will never please everyone, and
that's not your assignment anyway. Am I now trying to

(04:04):
win the approval of human beings or of God? Or
am I trying to please people? If I were still
trying to please people, I would not be a servant
of Christ Galatians one ten. Breaking free from approval addiction
requires recognizing a fundamental truth. Seeking God's approval and seeking
human approval often lead in opposite directions. When you commit

(04:24):
to divine validation over human validation, you find the freedom
to become who you were created to be. The woman
in waiting. Too many women live as women in waiting,
waiting for permission, waiting for perfect circumstances, waiting for absolute
certainty before moving forward. We say things like I'll pursue
my dream when the kids are older, I'll speak up

(04:46):
when I have more experience. I'll prioritize my health when
things slow down. I'll write that book when I feel
more qualified. But here's the truth. There will never be
a perfect time. The kids will always need something, You'll
never feel completely qualified. Things rarely slow down on their own.
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and

(05:07):
deliverance will arise from another place. But you and your
father's family will perish. And who knows but that you
have come to your royal position for such a time
as this. Esther four or fourteen Esther didn't wait for
perfect circumstances. She acted in the circumstances she had. She
didn't wait until she felt fearless. She moved forward, feeling
if I perish, I perish. She didn't wait for more qualifications.

(05:30):
She used her position, however uncertain she felt about it.
Releasing your authentic self. Perhaps the greatest tragedy of permission
seeking is that it keeps the world from experiencing the
authentic you, the woman God had in mind when he
formed you. We've become so accustomed to editing ourselves, our words,
our dreams, our appearance, our truth, that we sometimes lose

(05:52):
touch with you. We really are, beneath all the adaptations
you made, all the delicate inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mind Mother's womb. Thank
you for making me so wonderfully complex. Your workmanship is marvelous.
How well I know it Psalm one hundred thirty nine
thirteen to fourteen. You are not a mistake to be corrected,
but a masterpiece to be expressed. Your quirks, your passions,

(06:16):
your unique perspective. These aren't flaws to be hidden, with
features to be celebrated. Releasing your authentic self means speaking
your truth with both courage and kindness, pursuing your purpose
without apology, loving the parts of yourself others have criticized,
honoring your needs without shame, expressing your gifts at their

(06:36):
full capacity. The permission declaration. Today, I'm inviting you to
make a declaration, first to yourself, then to God, and
finally to the world. This is your permission declaration. I
no longer seek permission to be who God created me
to be. I no longer apologize for taking up space
and rooms where my voice is needed. I no longer

(06:57):
shrink to make others comfortable with my gifts. I no
longer wait for perfect circumstances to pursue divine purpose to day,
I accept the authority already given to me. I embrace
the woman I was created to be, in all her strength, passion, wisdom,
and power. I choose to walk in the freedom purchase
for me, to speak with the voice entrusted to me,

(07:18):
and to fulfill the purpose encoded within me. Not some day,
not when I feel ready, not when every one approves.
Today now, as I am your permission legacy. When you
stop seeking permission and start walking in authority, you do
more than change your own life. You create a permission
legacy for every woman watching you. Your daughter learns she

(07:41):
doesn't need approval to pursue her dreams. Your colleagues sees
that she can speak the truth with confidence. Your friend
realizes she can prioritize her well being without guilt. By
granting yourself permission, you silently granted to countless others who
have been waiting for someone, any one, to go first. Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,

(08:03):
let us throw off everything that hinders in the sin
that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance
the race marked out for us Hebrews twelve one. The
permission you've been seeking has already been granted. The authority
you've been waiting for, has already been given. The woman
you were meant to be as already within you waiting
to be released. In closing, all that remains is for

(08:25):
you to decide. Will you keep seeking permission or will
you start walking in the authority you already have. The
world is waiting for your answer.
