Speaker 1 (00:00):
On today's podcast, we are talking about the power of praise.
Our key scripture reads through Jesus. Therefore, let us continually
offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of
lips that openly profess his name Hebrews thirteen fifteen. Praise
is powerful. It has the ability to transform our hearts
and shift the atmosphere around us. When we lift our
(00:22):
voices in praise, even in difficult times, we are making
a bold declaration of faith. Praise isn't just a response
to blessings. It's an act of trust in the character
and promises of God. At its core, praise redirects our focus.
Instead of dwelling on our problems, we center our thoughts
on God's power, love, and faithfulness. This shift in perspective
(00:45):
moves us from despair to hope, from fear to faith,
and from way to worship. It's in these moments of
praise that we are reminded of who God is, our provider,
sustainer and savior. The sacrifice of praise the scripture call
did a sacrifice of praise, and rightly so. There are
times when praising God doesn't come easily, when the weight
(01:06):
of life feels unbearable. Lifting our voices to sing or
speak his praises can feel like the last thing we
want to do. Yet this is where the power of
praise shines brightest. Sacrificial praise isn't about ignoring our pain.
It's about choosing to exalt God in the midst of it.
It's proclaiming God, you are good even when life is hard.
(01:28):
You are faithful even when I can't see the way ahead.
This kind of praise moves heaven and shifts the spiritual atmosphere.
What happens when we praise chains are broken Enacts sixteen.
Paul and Silas praised God while imprisoned, and their worship
led to an earthquake that opened the prison doors. Praise
has the power to break the chains of fear, doubt,
(01:50):
and despair in our lives. God's presence is invited. Psalm
twenty two three says that God inhabits the praises of
his people. When we praise him, we create a space
for his presence to dwell, bringing peace and comfort. Victory
is declared. Praise is a weapon. It reminds the enemy
that he is defeated and that we belong to the
(02:10):
one who has already won the victory. How to cultivate
a lifestyle of praise Start small. Begin your day by
thanking God for one thing. Sing your praise. Use worship
songs to declare God's goodness. Even when you don't have
the words yourself. Speak it out loud, Profess his name
and attributes, saying God, you are faithful, You are my rock.
(02:34):
Build your faith and invites his power into your life.
Reflection moment. Take a moment to day to pause and
praise God, not because of what he's done, but because
of who he is. Reflect on his unchanging nature and
his promises over your life. Write down a few words
of praise and let them guide your heart throughout the day.
(02:55):
Closing prayer, Heavenly Father, I praise you today for who
you are. You are good, you are faithful, and you
are worthy of all my worship. Even when life is hard,
I choose to lift your name above my circumstances. Let
my praise be a sacrifice that honors you and invites
your presence into my life. Break every chain and silence
(03:16):
every fear. Ayes I trust in you in Jesus name. Amen.
When life feels heavy, let the power of praise remind
you of the one who carries it all. Trust him,
worship him, and let his glory shine through your life.
