Where Newsom, Doctor Newsom, Welcome to Let's Talk to the Lord.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
Well apossa down. Thank you. I appreciate the opportunity and
I appreciate.

Speaker 9 (05:32):
God opening another amazing door to get the word out
to the people.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
I love it. I love it. I love it.

Speaker 8 (05:39):
And before we begin our interview, please tell the Kingdom
more about you. Who is Frederick where Newsome?

Speaker 9 (05:51):
Well, actually I go by King Doctor Frederick Douglas ware Newsom.
And the reason I go by that is because I
think God has give me a great calling and everything
I do in music, in ministry and the political arena.
God has just blessed me in so many different areas,

(06:13):
being with different awards, so the Stellar Awards, the Grammy
Awards now do the.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Different World Award. So God has.

Speaker 9 (06:21):
Established me pretty well and now He's given me a
great platform to express everything He's allowed me to do.

Speaker 8 (06:29):
Amen, and doctor Newsom, please tell the Kingdom when and
where Christ found you and share a little of your
journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Well.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
Actually, I gave my life to the Lord in nineteen
eighty five, September twenty second, nineteen eighty five, and it
has been an amazing journey. It has been up and
down journey. Starting loss in ministry. Obviously, need like a
lot of people didn't really know a whole lot about ministry,
but then as I kept going and learning more and
more about God and more and more about Jesus Christ,

(07:07):
I began to grow and grow and grow, and God
just have blessed in so many different facets. So, you know,
start off as a brother. Then some years later I
became a minister of the Gospel, and then I became
an elder and the Church of God in Christ. And
then I went on to and get a doctor degree
in divinity, and I worked on the peace, the leadership

(07:31):
and management, and another doctor's greems administration. So as I
kept growing and growing in knowledge and wisdom and learning
more and more of God, God just kept opening more
and more doors and the like. Now the ministry is worldwide,
and I give all glory and honor to God because
He opened every single door and made every single way.

(07:52):
And it's really it's really profound, it's really awesome. It's
really amazing, and you know, and from those humble beginnings
to where I'm at today, and it's really an opportunity
for a lot.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Of people to get to know what God.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
Can do in your life if you let God lead
in guide your life. And I feel blessed and honored
with the all the great things that God is doing.
And so I mean it's just unlimited, just as the
stop when we put our hands in God's hands. And
that's what how God has opened doors and made ways,
and you know with the different ministries he's allowed me

(08:28):
to start, which is really awesome. Newsome kings, queens and Gods.
So it's really awesome everything God is doing in my life.
So how humbly, humbly, you know, thank God for the opportunities.
And you know, God has led me a long ways
even to this day. So I'm really really proud of
what God is doing.

Speaker 8 (08:48):
And what is your calling and purpose in the Kingdom
of God and in the Body of Christ.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
Well, my calling and purpose is what God gave me.

Speaker 9 (09:01):
Many years ago. When I started my first business. Knew
some gospel ministries and when God had me start that business,
the outline was prepare the world for the return of Jesus.
Now I didn't realize forty well, however long nineteen eighty
five was till today, I don't know how long I
am about forty some years, but I know.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
My math, but I'm just didn't count that fiact.

Speaker 9 (09:24):
But anyway, when Gods had me, God had me started
New Some gospel ministries, and God gave me the tagline
where prepare the world for the Return of Jesus. And
I'm like, what, prepare the world for the return of Jesus.
But now starting that format then and see where how
all these positions God has placed me? And now I
see everything unfolding. And now to this day it's still

(09:47):
in New Some gospel ministry preparing the world for.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
The return of Jesus. And even when I made that
statement to people, they're like, what what are you talking about,
prepare the world for the return of Jesus, And I thought, no,
I don't know if that's what God gave me.

Speaker 9 (09:59):
And at that time I was like, well, okay, it
sounds interesting, it sounds nice. But then now forty years later,
I'm looking at how God disolved everything like preparing the
world for the return of Jesus, and I was like, oh,
my goodness, so I've really seen it unfolding right before
my eyes. Everything that God had been doing and had
been preparing me for, with all the connections around the

(10:21):
country and around the world. God had been setting the
entire stage for me and bringing everything to past that
he told me. And that's that's my mission is to
prepare the world for return of Jesus.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
And doctor Newsom, please tell the Kingdom a little about
the nus Awards and how it began.

Speaker 9 (10:43):
Well, the NUSIM Awards. It began with the name Nuseim Awards.
Now we've changed, we've changed the God Come. We changed
to the News of World Awards and bringing other awards
shows that we were doing into the nuse Of Awards.
But really we had a humble beginnings. We started twenty
one years ago, in two thousand and four, and you know,

(11:03):
we started up in Rochester, New York, you know, a
city up in upstate New York.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
And we started our first show.

Speaker 9 (11:09):
There and you know, we had you know, probably at
the first show, maybe thirty or forty people at the
first show. But it was new, it was just starting,
you know, and God had me go home, you know
where I'm from, Rochester, New York, so he had me
to go home and start the show. But then over
the years we had branched out across the country, like
doing different shows in different states and different cities around

(11:31):
the country.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
And that really ended up giving us a huge, huge
name in the music industry.

Speaker 9 (11:39):
Even though I started off with the Stellar Awards. I
was on the advisory boards for the Stellar Got Some
Music Awards. I'm one of the first members, one of
the founding members of the Stellar Award. I got some
Music Academy. But then I worked with Stellar war was
for like fifteen years. And then after I worked with them,
then the Grammy saw what I was doing with the
Stellar Awards, so the Grammys. I was nevering a twice

(12:00):
for the Board of Governors for the Grammys, so I
really had a huge, huge position in both areas. But
when God told me to start the New Some Awards,
I asked God, well, what is the News Award, because
I didn't know what the Newcentward was. But then God said,
I want you to recognize all those people that Dolls
and the Grammys don't recognize. And that was the birth
of the News Awards in two thousand and four, and

(12:23):
then from.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
That point forward when.

Speaker 9 (12:26):
We've just been moving and moving and moving ever since.
Now the News and World Awards is worldwide now. And
that's why I tell people all the time, Pastor James
that you know passable. John's that despise not small beginnings
when they start small, but we're patient and we let
God build and build and build and acknowledge him. Then
that's where we get our growth from. Because every step.

Speaker 6 (12:46):
That I've made in my life, it was always.

Speaker 9 (12:49):
God directing God directing, God directing. People know me to
this day they said, well, he ain't gonna do nothing.
Let God tell them.

Speaker 6 (12:54):
And that's the truth. I'm not doing anythings lest God
tell me to go this way or to go that way.
Because you know, I've seen I follow other people directions
who said they were of God, but.

Speaker 9 (13:03):
They were not of God and led me in some
wrong directions, and I just made it up in my mind.

Speaker 6 (13:08):
God is on leading guide me. And that's where I'm
at today. Is that God leading and guide.

Speaker 9 (13:14):
And that's where the new awards now news and World Awards,
and you know, we had our humble beginnings, but God
just taught us every step of the way, every step
of the way, and then now the world wide award
show and humbly, the same way we started is the
same way.

Speaker 6 (13:28):
We are now.

Speaker 9 (13:29):
We're just as humble as ever and thanking God for
every opportunity every door. We don't assume like, oh, well
people need to get to know us. No, we don't
make that assumption if they get to know us, they do,
they don't, they don't. It's all God. It all belongs
to God anyway. But yeah, we feel really honored in
privileged the doors that God has blessed us with.

Speaker 8 (13:48):
They meant and Kingdom. Proverbs the third chapter and the
fifth through the sixth verses declares, and I will begin
reading at the fourth verse, verse one, Then you will
find favor in high regard in the sight of God
and man verse five. Trust in the Lord with all

(14:10):
your heart, and lean not on your own understanding verse six.
In all your ways, acknowledge him God, and he will
make your path straight, Now Kingdom. The Brinton sceptual Against
translation declares, trust in God with all thine heart, and
be not exalted in thine own wisdom, Now Kingdom. The

(14:36):
sceptual against in the Greek translation of the Hebrew's Old Testament.
The term sceptual against refers to the seventy two translators
involved in translating the Pentitage from Hebrew to Greek in
the third century by Sir Lancelot Charles Lee Brinton, originally

(14:57):
published in eighteen forty one for Now Kingdom. The entomology
of the word trust denotes help, confidence, protection, and support. Kingdom.
To trust in the Lord with all your heart emphasizes
complete reliance on God. Trusting in the Lord involves a

(15:18):
deep and unwavering faith that goes beyond the pure and
simple intellect, meaning one's being, mind, will, and emotions. This
is a call to surrender every aspect of your life
to God. Theologically speaking, this trust is foundational to our

(15:43):
covenant relationship between God and Creation, which commands love for
God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength Kingdom.
That trust leads to or is a call to faith
in Christ. So, doctor Newsom, how has this passage of

(16:06):
scripture been your foundation for all of your accomplishments?

Speaker 9 (16:13):
And that's an excellent question. And that's what I based
my whole outline. Even to this very day, forty years later.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
I don't lean on my own understanding.

Speaker 9 (16:23):
You know, I've been to twenty two schools, got college degrees, diploma, certificates,
all those things, but there's still not enough knowledge. I
have to trust God every single day, every step of
the way.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
I don't know pursuable myself.

Speaker 9 (16:37):
I know this, and I know that, and like I
said earlier, if God doesn't leave me I'm not going
if God doesn't tell me it's not going to happen.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
I based my whole life like the apostle Paul.

Speaker 9 (16:47):
No matter how much education he had, no matter how
much wisdom and knowledge and learning and teaching, God.

Speaker 6 (16:52):
Had to lead him. Christ had to leave him. And
that's why.

Speaker 9 (16:56):
He was a pro prolific in setting up so many
churches and doing so many things with God, because he
let God continue to lead him. I take those same
patterns and all that ways, acknowledge Him, and he will
direct dive past. And God have been directing my past
all these forty years. And I feel extremely comfortable. Don't
plan on going anywhere because you know, like like Zaba

(17:18):
as you know.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Looking at God in large in my territory.

Speaker 9 (17:21):
You know, and and God has allowed me just to
touch so many lives, thousands and thousands of people's lives,
and I.

Speaker 6 (17:28):
Just find it awesome and amazing. We do our Knew
Some World.

Speaker 9 (17:31):
Awards show, and you know, I talked to hundreds and
hundreds of people that come to the show and we
just have a great time. And then I love it.
I I told people I wouldn't trade it for nothing
in the entire world because God is I mean, God
is God. He's just just just you know, allowed me
to do so much. And the more him more he
allowed me to do, the more and more humbler I become.

(17:53):
You know, I don't I don't get exalted because oh I'm.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Doing this and I'm doing that. You know, I said, well,
everything is good. You know. I don't pick one thing about.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
Of another like Okay, that's good. You know, it is
part of what the door God opened. God open the door,
you walk through it. And I think I think that
this just my thought, but I think that God blesses
me because I like to stay so humble. I don't
think I'm better than nobody else. I don't think I
gult myself high than nobody else. I'm just that humble
little man that walk around every day like everybody else do,

(18:22):
and be like, oh, hey, God, what do you want
me to do next? And not knowing God has building
a huge, huge platform, and you know, to me, it's
just like getting up in the morning, like all right, God,
what you want me to do next? You tell me
what to do once it's done, God, what we're doing next?
I acknowledge Him in every way, and I think that's
that's the premise, that's the outline of the accomplishments that

(18:43):
He has allowed me to do is because I don't
take him for granted like he had to do anything.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
You know, God will have to do nothing for me.
But by his grace and his mercy, he opened these
doors and make these waves.

Speaker 9 (18:53):
As he opened the doors, I just walked straight through them. Now,
you know, I told him, like some years ago, I
told him, I said, you know, I purposed in my
heart with God. When I do, I'm just walking through
it and asking questions later. Because of God.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Open the door, it must be something good.

Speaker 9 (19:06):
And if I open it myself, that's deptical. So you
know I have to truk God. Well now I'm just
too old. Now, I really gotta trust God.

Speaker 8 (19:17):
Amen in Kingdom, and lean not on your own understanding,
which warns against self reliance because of the limitations of
human wisdom. This proverb declares that our human reasoning is
never and can never rise above divine guidance. Again, lean

(19:41):
the notes to support or reliance because of our own
flesh understanding is not sufficient as a foundation for our lives. Why,
because Jeremiah declares in the seventeenth chapter and the ninth
verse that describes our or heart as deceitful and prone

(20:03):
to life. Isaiah declared, God's thoughts are higher than human
flesh thoughts and ways with its satanic influences and flesh temptations,
keep them. Godly wisdom far exceeds our flesh. So we
rely on the Holy Spirit rather than our own thoughts

(20:25):
and feelings. So, doctor Newsom, please tell us about your
run for the presidency as a right end on the ballot.

Speaker 9 (20:36):
But I had, you know, it's a great privile and
great honor to run for the highest office in the country,
president of the United States. And I ran actually under
my own party, in the Newsom Party, which is a
party of righteousness. Some people say it's an independent party. No,
it's not independent parties, losing party, just like I said,
news and parties, but having that righteous outline, I actually

(20:57):
ran against Trump and Kamala as a writing candidate. Now,
just to be justifiable, I wasn't the only one in
the country. There were many others that ran as well,
but I think I was the only one that ran
under a righteous format, of godly format. And that being
the case, you know, God had gave me, given me
a prophecy.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
He had told me that Biden was going to drop
out of the race.

Speaker 9 (21:23):
And I went on Facebook told people that, you know what,
God give me a prophecy. Biden gonna drop out of
the race. Trump not gonna be able to finish the
race because he would have me too many issues and
problems and I would be the last man standing. Well,
all that took place, Biden dropped out of the race
three weeks later. I said that three weeks before the election,
Trump didn't have enough money finished and I was a
last man standing. And then I said, January twentie if

(21:43):
he's not gonna be confirmed as President of the United States,
January twentieth, come And people said, oh, well, she knew
and he was confirmed. Actually he wasn't because one, he
never put his hand on the Bible, so that's part
of the confirmation process. Two, he actually don't even quantify
for the President of the United States because he had
an old application that he put in and he didn't

(22:06):
put in a new application.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
So all the events that.

Speaker 9 (22:09):
Took place still doesn't make him qualify for president of
the United States. And I'll say, first and foremost, one,
you got to put the hand on.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
The Bible, because that's part of the process. He never
even touched the Bible.

Speaker 9 (22:20):
Two, the application he did during the November fifteenth, twenty
twenty two, he was considered an insurrectionist. Well, the fourteenth
a member of the Constitution of the United States is
if you participate in an insurrection against the country and
run for the office of the presidency, you don't qualify
the runs for that office.

Speaker 6 (22:39):
And he did that. So everything we saw happen.

Speaker 9 (22:43):
Actually was not what we saw happen because he cannot
be confirmed as the president one basis, his application was
too old, and two he never put his hand on
the Bible as part of the confirmation process.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
So everything so the prophecy still became fulfilled.

Speaker 9 (23:00):
He wasn't confirmed as present. They went through the words,
they went through the motion, but the confirmation was not there.
So now seeing how God prophetically has opened up the outline.
But when God gave me we even run for the presidency,
God had me with the Newsome nations, being president of
the Newsome Nation. Now that is the nation everybody want

(23:21):
to be a part of. Where where if we function
of the righteousness, godliness and all those things that everybody
else do, and other nations we don't do that.

Speaker 6 (23:30):
And all basically what we want our citizens of the
news Nation to be. We want to pour.

Speaker 9 (23:35):
We want the needy, we want the afflicted. We want
the widows, we want the orphans, we want the homeless.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
We want all the.

Speaker 9 (23:42):
People other countries and other nations don't want. We want
every least one of them. We don't want no rich people.
We don't want no proud people. We don't want no
wealthy people. We don't want none of them.

Speaker 6 (23:51):
We want the lowly of people, just like me, us,
the lowly people of the earth.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
I want them to make up the Newsome nation. These
are the people God to me to go get. I
don't want no rich people. I don't want no wealthy people.
I don't want none of them. I just want godly people,
those that are sick, those are the lame, though they're deceeed, disabled, homeless.
I want all those people to be a part of
the disom nation. So me running for the officer of
the presidency. God says yes. But then he told me,

(24:20):
why would I take something new you being president over
the United States, take something new and put put you
in somewhere old let me know, I want to be
the part be the president of the Newsom nation. And
that's what we function under right now, being the president
of the Newsom nation. And now this is the nation
the whole world is going to look forwards. This is
the whole nation the whole world is gonna look at

(24:41):
because there's too much corruption in the United States, it's
too much corruption in other countries and other nations. It's
too much corruption. Why would God build something new on
something old. He's just not gonna do that.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Jesus said, why would you put.

Speaker 9 (24:53):
New wine and old wine skins? Or the new wine
would bust the old wine skins. You take something new
and put it into something new, and that way you
got a goose style of the foreign foundation. So what
at we see playing out today on TV and on
the radio and in the news.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
Everything we see y'all see playing out it is pretension show.

Speaker 9 (25:15):
Because if you if we notice a lot of things
that said and then just then it says and then
it's retracted and like, oh they mean that. You can't
run no country like that saying things and don't mean it,
and then you change it later and then that's just
like kids playing it playing in the playing it on
the playground, playing in the paper house. You can't do
that stuff as a leader. But Newsome Nation is them,

(25:36):
is the nation for all nations around the world to
take pattern after. And that's why I am so blessed
and so honored that God blessed me to be the
King of Newsome Kingdom and the President of the Newsome Nation.
So I feel so humbly honored that God opened the
doors and made these ways and now and get a
chance to be a blessing to the whole entire world.
So I think I'm in a God's putting me in

(25:57):
a perfect position, a.

Speaker 8 (26:00):
Man, a man, and a man again. Doctor Newsom, please sir,

definitely would be a benefit to everyone to take part
in everything we're doing.

Speaker 8 (27:29):
And how may the Kingdom support your ministry?

Speaker 9 (27:35):
Well, you know, the Kingdom can support the ministry, I'll say,
really by whatever outline God put on their heart, whether
they you know, want to support it like helping out,
volunteering at the event financially, however God put on their
part on their heart to support and that's definitely really

(27:56):
really amazing with us.

Speaker 6 (27:57):
You know, it's it's all up like us and all
is now here, Director.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
Past, However, the God, the rest of the ministry that
would be awesome, the Kingdom ministry that will be awesome
and amazing.
