First, Lady Gail Neviles Stringer, Welcome to let's talk to
the Lord.
Speaker 14 (11:19):
Welcome Apostle. Thank you so much for having me. It
is such an honor to be here with you today.
Thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Amen, and the honor is all ours. And before we
begin our interview and discussion, please tell the kingdom more
about you. Who is Gail Nobles Stringer.
Speaker 14 (11:43):
Yes, Hi, I'm Gail, and I am the third of
five children. I have the a three sisters and one brother.
And as you first stated earlier, I am a pastor's
daughter elder Bishop Nevills out of Youngstown, Ohio. I grew up.
He trained us to sing in his church before he
(12:03):
left Phillip's Chapel, which was his father's church. He trained
us how to sing, and we started going with him
as he would travel in revivals and he would call
us to sing before he got up to preach. I'm married.
I have a husband, Jonathan Stringer, and that's a little
bit about myself.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
A man and first lady's Dringer. Please tell the kingdom
when and where Christ found you and share a little
of your journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior
Christ Jesus.
Speaker 14 (12:42):
Yes, I've always been in the church, and as I
said earlier, they trained us to sing, and you know,
you just move into the vein of doing church. But
when I really found Christ, I'm going to say in
a relationship, is when I maybe about twenty twenty one,
when I ran into a hardship in my life and
(13:04):
I couldn't speak with nobody and nobody could help me,
and I started calling on the Lord and that's when
he really came into my life and I had a
personal relationship with him. So I'm going to say maybe
about twenty years old, it's when I really really found
the relationship with him.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
And what is your calling and purpose in the Kingdom
of God and in the Body of Christ.
Speaker 14 (13:30):
I believe my calling is to minister the gospel and
to inspire others with the message of Jesus Christ. We
have people that's broken hearted out there, and I believe
the Lord has called me to sing to the broken
hearted and to draw them into His presence that they
may want to accept Him as their personal savior, and
(13:54):
to lift and restore and leave them into the worship,
reminding them that God has always faithful even when life
seems to be shattered, Gill shattered.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Excuse me, Ia, Man and Kingdom. I will be discussing
with Sister Stringer the testimony and story behind the song
Let me be the one to begin. When God says
let me be the one, it means that God has
specifically selected you to fulfill a certain mission, purpose, and
(14:29):
assignment in your lifetime. Your mission is for a Godly
purpose and involves you analyzing your posture, position, connection, and
willingness to allow God to lead and guide your life
because with His choosing of you, it will cause you
(14:50):
to strengthen your relationship in Him, because you will need
Him to support and strengthen you through the challenges that
that will come with the assignment. It will cause us
to build trust in God. You will have to learn
to totally trust God no matter what. Psalm thirty seven
(15:12):
and five declares to commit your way to the Lord
and trust in him, and He will bring it to
path Kingdom. In the God's Word translation, it declares, in
trust your ways to the Lord, trust him and he
will act on your behalf. Now Kingdom, the God's Word
(15:33):
translation communicates the good news of Jesus in clear, simple
English translated directly from the Hebrew, Aramaic, Aramaic and Greek
texts with easy to understand English words Now Kingdom. Commit
your way to the Lord emphasizes the act of in
(15:54):
trusting one's life and decisions to God, meaning the path
and course of your life declared in Proverbs the sixteenth
chapter in the third verse, which advises us to commit
our works to the Lord for our plans to be established. So,
(16:15):
in other words, when you have been chosen by God,
you must have his divine guidance, because like Abraham, you
will encounter unknown territories. So we surrender all control and
align our lives with God's divine will, mirroring a trust
(16:37):
in God's sovereignty and wisdom.
Speaker 9 (16:59):
How show I'm thankful you deserve moth and praise can.
Speaker 7 (17:05):
Be from more danger calling on your grand name.
Speaker 15 (17:11):
Everything you made was good, nothing to be rejected, your
workcause of credive, your love received as per five.
Speaker 10 (17:24):
So on my knees and worships where I want to
be found, even those seven thousand still having bad.
Speaker 7 (17:36):
Let me be duty Claire, you.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Leap.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Let me be the one to sing.
Speaker 16 (17:45):
How good you are, even those seven thousands still having bad,
even those seven thousands still having bad.
Speaker 7 (18:00):
Mshop, can't men do everything ever is good?
Speaker 4 (18:28):
Not your your I never seen as one?
Speaker 16 (18:39):
Monies and worships where I wanna be fine, even those
even thousand still have.
Speaker 9 (18:50):
The de to dig care you are hold dot.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Meds, don't you.
Speaker 9 (19:03):
Seven thousand quick thousand thousand thousand brees.
Speaker 16 (19:09):
Come butt you raise for me those the extra mind,
even those seven thousand still having bad, even those seven
thousand still having bad.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
A little beastrink.
Speaker 5 (19:56):
First, ladies, drinker, please kill your testimony and share the
story behind the song.
Speaker 14 (20:04):
Let me be the one, yes, sir, the story that
I have to the song, Let me be the one.
I was on my knees one morning at my four
o'clock prayer and I was just in my prayer, I
was just surrendering to the Lord, and my mind was
going back to house. There's so much going on in
(20:24):
our land today. People are going through so much, and
they're walking away from Christ, and they're failing to believe
that Jesus is what he said he was. If he
did it before, he can still do it again. And
they're taking matters into their own hands. And I was
telling the Lord, Lord, I want to be one of
the ones that stand for you no matter what. And
(20:47):
it was inspired by First Kings, the nineteenth chapter and
the eighteenth verse where seven thousand didn't now. Elijah thought
he was the only one that was living the truth
of God, and the Lord revealed and said, no, no, no,
I've got seven thousand that haven't biwed. And I begin
(21:10):
to say, Lord, I want to be one of those
ones that don't bow to you. I want to stand
firm in your word today. I want to be an
example to show people that you are still the same yesterday, today,
and forever more. And that word seven thousand just kept
ringing on my knees. And I called my producer and
(21:30):
I said, I'm hearing a song with seven thousand have
been bowed. I want to be one of the ones
that don't bow. So that's how that song was worth.
Let me be the one even those seven thousand haven't bowed.
Let me be one of the ones that don't bow.
(21:52):
To stand firm to you.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Day man, the first lady stringer. Can you describe the
first time in your life when you encountered God conveying
to you to let him be your one and only.
Speaker 14 (22:10):
Oh yes, sir, I'll never forget the moment when God
made it clear that he wanted me to be the one.
I'm going to go into a personal testimony. I was
depressed and suffered from depression.
Speaker 10 (22:27):
And.
Speaker 14 (22:29):
I hated life and I wanted to die. And I
would often get into the bed and just ask God
to take me. And I prayed that pray so much.
He didn't take. I tried several times, but he came
to me and he said, I want to use you.
It's a long story. I'm not going to go into it.
(22:50):
But it was through that depressing moment where God came
and ministered to me. It wasn't in a grand service
or powerful Bible service. It was in a quiet, broken place.
I was broken where I had run out of you know,
run out of answers and options, and life had thrown
(23:10):
it thrown me into a storm and I didn't know
how to navigate, and I stopped trusting in people who
you know, who I leaned on. People couldn't answer the
questions that I needed. Like I said, I suffered some
depression and then that's when God came to me and
I just surrendered. When I found out he wasn't going
to take me, I just surrendered. And but I felt
(23:31):
that depression just left me. And that's how I knew
God was calling me to be out of desperation. I
heard the voice of the Lord, and that's how I
became one of the ones.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
For him and first Lady's Dreamer. Was it a challenge
for you or was it somewhat easy for you to
surrender to God?
Speaker 14 (23:53):
Oh no, sir, it was definitely a challenge because I
always thought I could fix it.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
A law time.
Speaker 14 (24:00):
I was like that you know the devil would come
and speak to my mind. But when I found that
there was no resolution or no just doing. You just
have to do a God's way. The enemy's going to
come and try to you know, there's a scripture says
he's going to steal, kill and destroy. He comes to steal,
kill and destroy. But God come that we may have life.
(24:21):
And I started praying, I started getting in my word,
and I started feeling the peace of God come over me,
and I recognized this is what I need to do.
And he comes every now and then to try to
steal my joy. But I know now who it is
and I know how to navigate through that. So life
(24:41):
is a challenge. But God will give you his peace
through his word and through prayer. To trust and believe
in Him.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
And kingdom. As I have said, to surrender means to
trust him Kingdom. Trusting God is one of the central
things in Scripture. Us to have faith in God's character
and promises because we rely on God's provision, protection and faithfulness,
(25:11):
especially through seasons of adversity. It takes trust to allow
your life to be in the hands of God. So first,
baby Stringer, please release a word of encouragement to the
listener who is struggling with trust issues with God.
Speaker 14 (25:33):
Yes, sir, I want to encourage everyone listening who is
struggling to trust God. I want to remind you of
this truth. God is faithful even when life makes no sense.
I know what it feels like to have your own
trust shaken when people let you down, when prayer seemed unanswered,
(25:58):
with the pain feel un when it feels unbearable. But
I also know this God never fails Proverbs thirty five
and Sixcess Trust in the Lord with all thine heart,
and lean not to your own understanding and all your ways.
Submit to Him, and He will make your path straight. Listen.
(26:22):
Trust in God doesn't mean will always. It will not always,
you will not always understand his ways. But it does
mean that we can rest in the act that He
is good and He is working everything out for our good.
If you're struggling to trust to take all take small
(26:42):
steps and remind yourself all the time He's come through before.
If he did it before, he'll do it again. And
I promise you this one thing, that God won't let
you down. People will let you down, but God will
never let you down. And they say He may not
(27:03):
come through when you want him, but believe you this,
he is always on time. When he comes through, he's
right on time. Well, cheat, God, keep trusting us and
hold onto him. He won't let you down and.
Speaker 5 (27:17):
Kingdom, he will do it. It declares God's active role
in fulfilling God's promises and completing his mission in our lives.
But I can say one trust builder is when we
see it with our own eyes, God's divine intervention. When
(27:42):
God accomplishes it and you see it happen in your
own life and realize our trust is not insane because
the call and commission has been birthed out and you
become who He's ale you to be. So finally, first
(28:03):
Lady Stringer, share with the listeners your adoration when you
began to accomplish what God created you to do, and be.
Speaker 14 (28:16):
Yes, sir, When I walk into my purpose and see
God using me for his glory, my heart overflows with adoration.
There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing I am doing
exactly what He has created me to do. In ministry
through songs, encouraging the broken hearted and pointing the people
(28:40):
back to Him. It humbles me to think that God
of the universe, which shoes me with all of my
flaws and past struggles to be a vessel for his kingdom.
Every time I see and live touch souls, encourages the hearts,
the hearts the heart's work. God cries. I'm reminded that
(29:02):
it's not about me, It's all about Him. It brings
me to a place of worship where I just thank
him for trusting me with his work. I adore him
because he has not taken my pain and my experiences,
even my disappointments right, but he has made them something meaningful, meaningful. Oh,
(29:25):
I'm so happy to be moving in my purpose.
