Speaker 7 (07:36):
And before we continue with our interview and begin our
discussion in your own words, please describe the story of
your life.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Wow, I've been living for sixty years, so let me
see if I can give you a short version of that.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
So.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
I'm a city boy born to Miss Sippy parents in
this great metropolis of the beautiful Wichita, Kansas And anyway,
my placement in the birth of my family was number
eight out of nine siblings. I was the youngest of
siblings for fifteen years. My mother had another child at
the age of forty nine, and I was born during
(08:18):
the transition of the ages. What I mean by that
is I was born during the time when society was
referring to those that were born in that age as
baby boomers. But because I was born in the month
of December, I was often grouped in in with the
Generation X people. So if I sound confused, then I'm
gonna make that the excuse. While by the time I
(08:40):
was born to my parents, by the time I was born,
my parents had already accepted the Lord by the time
I was born. So I grew up in a Christian family,
and they were very dedicated to the Pentecostal Holiness Reformation,
but this particular group that we were in, they were
(09:00):
not a part of a mainstream denomination. They were very independent,
and so my view of life was completely form shaped
and based out of the social not out of the
the norms that were amongst our church family. That the
environment that I grew up in, and it was a
very protected, protected environment because I didn't see a lot
(09:23):
of things that were going on I was I was
not even consciously aware of civil rights until I started
school and understanding it around about the first or second grade,
and so we were in a very protected environment. So
what was normal to me was probably add normal to others,
and and and I grew up with the with the
(09:45):
strong what they call uh holdliness views. And I don't
believe holiness is, you know, a denomination, but they did
there was. They felt they were very different. So I
grew up in that type of environment that the youth possible.
Speaker 7 (10:02):
Man so a pustle makes them. Please tell the Kingdom
when and where Christ found you and share a little
of your journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior
Christ Jesus.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Wow, I would love to so well. As I stated
how I grew up in such a strong Pentecostal background,
growing up in that protected environment, it really caused me
to be a little different in my own words, I
would say, using hindsight, I was very religious by both
of my parents having really good voices. I grew up
(10:39):
singing in church and singing gospel music. Matter of fact,
that's all we were allowed to sing. And I remember
starting singing at the age of five. Now that's important
because by the time I was five, I had scripture
memorized because they kept us in the scriptures as children.
They kept us memorizing scriptures and the church that we
(11:01):
were in. We even had seven days a week of
church services. Every day, I kid you not, Sunday through
Saturday we had service. Saturday is the only day we
didn't have two service because every day of the week
we had two services a day. Okay. So I was
inudated with God and with Christ, as they would say
back in that day, and so I was consumed with
(11:24):
the word. I was consumed with the rituals of being
in church and having church. And my understanding as a
child was that that was the way of life. And
so at the age of nine, I intentionally walked up
to the altar and fell on my knees and gave
(11:44):
my heart to the world. And now that's how they
described it to us back then, that that was the
way to do it. And I did just that. I
went there and I was baptized at the age of nine.
But it was around the age of fourteen when I
had a vision that God was sending me out to
nations to preach it. As a matter of fact, I
can remember there was a song. As I was having
(12:06):
that vision. I could hear Shirley Caesar singing that song,
go Yeda four and teach all nations, go go go.
I remember that plan. I woke up trying to find
the radio and thought maybe Mama had put the album
on and no music was playing in the house. But
(12:26):
it was in my dream, in that vision I was having,
and the Lord was telling me to go. And that's
when my salvation really became serious to me. And so
by the age of fifteen, I began preaching ministry and
I established my first church at the age of twenty
seven as a son of the Church of God in
Christ and incorporated. I was part of that denomination. By
(12:49):
the time I turned twenty nine, I was elevated to
the office of an apostle, and my church disconnected from
the denomination and became independent and things like that. So
my walk with the Lord seems like every eight to
ten years, I tend to grow more. I tend to
(13:11):
experience something different. I tend to feel a pulling, a nudging,
a guiding for the Lord to do something I've never
done before, to experience him in a way I never
experienced him before. And that's been consistently in my life
even up to this current day.
Speaker 7 (13:27):
Back to your apostle job and what is your calling
and purpose to the body of Christ and in the
Kingdom of God.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
So my calling is that of an apostle. I have
a strong alpostolic grace on my life. Whenever I do things,
usually it's establishing, in founding into the hearts of me
and women, boys and girls, the understanding of the Kingdom
of God and the power of God is established, which
(14:00):
is in the hearts of men and women, righteousness and
understanding of grace. And so I function as an apostle,
and that's to the body of Christ, because I believe
that the five fold ministry, the apostle, prophet, the e
angispastor teacher have an expiration date, because the Scripture says
in Ephesians, I believe it's chapter three he said that
(14:22):
defended them the apostle, prophet, avenge fast teacher untill we
all come into the unity of the faith. And so
at that place, that's when I believe we stop functioning
as a earth bound church and we begin to function
as a divine kingdom, the very Kingdom of God that
exists in the earth. So in the Kingdom of God,
I am a priest and a king, which is what
(14:44):
I believe. Everybody is.
Speaker 7 (14:47):
Man and kingdom. There are topic of discussion for this
episode is the God within now Keingdom gought. The Holy
Spirit is our indwelling connection and power source, and he's
our connection to Christ and God himself. He is what
(15:12):
we call the master key to our relationship experience, providing guidance, power, revelation, peace,
and empowering us to stand during the storms and chaos
that accompanies life in a sinful world. Now Kingdom. The
(15:33):
name Emmanuel means God with us and mirrors his divine
presence and assurance of God's constant presence with us. John
fourteen and twenty six from the Amplified Bible declares, but
the helper, comforter, advocate, intercessor, counselor strengthener, stand by the
(15:59):
Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name
in my place to represent me an act on my behalf.
He will teach you all things, and he will help
you remember everything that I have taught you. So now
for the babes in Christ, the God within is accompanied
(16:23):
by his angels and is more than enough understand because
God the Holy Spirit was here before time began, and
he is company present and everywhere. At the same time.
He is omniscientus. He has all knowledge of everything and omnipletent.
(16:47):
He has all power. Understand, God fills his creation and
is universally present and in power at all times. Blessed God.
He is not far from us at any time, and
He is also living and abiding with in us and
(17:11):
all at the same time. So we have to learn
how to gain access to our power source. Apostle Mason,
what are the steps to receiving our power source and
God within?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I believe it's very simple. Matter of fact, you even
just you mentioned it well in the Book of John,
the Gospel of John, in the first chapter. One of
the things that is said in there is that as
many as believes him or receives him to them, gave
he the power to become to be made the signs
(17:55):
of God. Sonship is the key the understanding the God
within because sonship deals with DNA shared DNA. And I
like the fact that you even use the word Emanuel
God with us. And in the Book of Revelations in
the Message Bible, I believe it's in chapter twenty it says, look, look,
(18:16):
God has moved into the neighborhood, and then he declares
that the neighborhood are the people that believe so starts
with believing, and then the second thing I believe. The
apostle Paul comes back and gives us a reiteration, and
he gives us further in understanding and insight when he
says in chapter eight of Romans, he says, for as
(18:39):
many as are led by the Spirit of God, they
are the sons of God. So in John he said,
if you believe and receives, you have the power to become.
Speaker 7 (18:52):
Enterromans.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
He says, and if you allow Holy Spirit, who is
the indwelling person of God, allow him to lead you,
then you are definitely a son of God. So the
qualification is to believe and receive and then allow yourself
to be led, be under the influence the control of
Holy Spirit. When you're under the influence and control of
(19:14):
Holy Spirit, that means you are walking in your sonship.
That means you're allowing the Dna of God that's within
you to actively engage, instruct you, to activate you, to
push you, to excel you, to encourage you, to instruct you,
to advise you. And he does all of that because
we hear him within the tune. We tune our ears
(19:37):
into his voice, and he's leads to us. So it's
really simple, it's not difficult at all. Paul said it
this way. Also, he said he talks about two different righteousnesses.
There's a righteousness which is of the law that requires
that you do certain things. But the righteousness, which is
the faith, is not about doing. It's about confessing with
your mouth and believing in your heart. So the main
(20:01):
element is believing. And when you believe in your heart
what Christ has accomplished, and you speak that out in
your mouth, even if you don't see it on the
physical level. We don't go by what we see on
the physical We go by what we see internally in
the God in us, and the God in us will
(20:22):
always show us the completed work of Jesus Christ. And
when I speak according to that, that causes me to
experience salvation on multiple levels. Hallylujah.
Speaker 7 (20:35):
And they said, how should we maintain our vessels so
we can have unlimited access to the river of life
within us man.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
So it's many people get stuck with the external or
hands on approach of wanting to function and righteousness and holiness.
But according to the scriptures, because it comes by it
being internally, you not to maintain a mind, your veporless cleans,
(21:12):
because your mind is stayed in a position of being
on Him, filled with the Holy Spirit, lived by the
Holy Spirit. Jesus said this in Matthew six. He said,
if your eye be single, then your whole body is
full of light. And I like to translate that worth
your eye being single is if your eye is focused.
If I have a focused wherever my focus goes is
(21:35):
where my energy flows. I'll say that another way, because
the word energy and anointing are interchangeable in definition. Where
your focus goes is where your annointing flows. So when
I keep my focus on Him, when I keep my
focus and my mind captain, tuned in and turned on
to living the life of relationship with God, it keeps
(21:59):
me in a state of existence whereby I can always
be used by God. Paul said this in Roman chapter twelve.
He said, be not conformed to this world, will be
ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. So in
order to experience the life changing power of holy ghosts,
we have to have a mindset. That is an agreement
(22:21):
that Jesus came and took away the sin.
Speaker 7 (22:23):
Of the world.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
And as the apostle John said in his Epistles, it
says for this cause was Christ's manifested to destroy the
works of the devil. This is important because if I
know Christ was manifested, and he was, that tells me
the devil's works have been destroyed. Therefore, my focus is
(22:46):
not on what the devil can do or have done.
My focus is on what Christ has done, which is
He's given us the victory and made a triumph through him, hallelujah.
And there's therefore now no So I keep my vessel
clean by keeping my mind tuned in to who He
(23:06):
is and what he accomplished. I don't define myself according
to a sin consciousness. That's what the Right of Hebrews
calls it sins. I don't define myself that way. I
define myself according to what Christ accomplished. And when he
rose from the grave, the scriptures declares that he had
all power that was in heaven and in earth. That
(23:26):
power was transferred to us who believe we receive Holy Spirit.
It's the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.
It keeps our Boy, it keeps us in grace, and
grace teaches us to be righteous. Because righteousness is not
about what I do It's about knowing who I am
(23:49):
in him, because when I have the right identity, I'll
have the right behavior. That's pustle John back.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
For you.
Speaker 7 (23:59):
Man, so a pusfilmation. Please share a testimony of how
the God within has transformed your life.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Oh wow, I must say that the level of encouragement
and I'll even use the word positivity for people to
understand that has entered my life. Being able to see
the best in people came because I started realizing that
I didn't have to pray to God up in the
(24:32):
clouds to the left of the sign or on the
other side of the planet Jupiter. No, he lives inside
of me. He's closer than the skin on my body.
And because I started treating him like he was here,
I started getting answers immediately. Not only was I getting answers,
but it caused my character to be uplifted. And when
(24:54):
my character was uplifted, because I associated that he lives
in me, and because he lives in me, every thing
that he is is in me, Everything that he has
is in me. God has made himself one with us.
That is the desire. That's why Holy Spirit changes us
into the same image. All of the same image.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
I like that part.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
We're not some replica. No, we're the same image of Christ.
He changes us into the same image of Christ. And
that changed me to the point where I had a
greater outlook on life, a better positive look, the ability
to help people see themselves the way God sees them
and not the way they've been defined by sin. Help
(25:38):
see themselves from a kingdom perspective and dynamic realizing that
they already have every covenant blessing, every covenant promise. And
I'm telling you, it gives you a better disposition because
I don't have issues with anger anymore because I identify
with the God within me instead of trying to get
God to be involved with me like Louiah. It changed
(26:01):
my attitude when I realize He's already there. Instead of
praying like, Okay, God, I need you to come.
Speaker 7 (26:07):
No, I don't need him to come. He's already here.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
He needs me to engage and activate with the God
that's in me. And when I started recognizing and realizing that,
it just changed my perspective of how I live life,
how I pray, and how I serve His people and
his kingdom.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
An apostle Mason is there anything else about the God
within that we have not covered that you would like
to release at this time.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Well, I mean, there's so many aspects to the understanding
of the God within, but I think I think what
I would like to share is is that Jesus said
that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and its
joy in the whole the ghosts. And then he told
us the Kingdom of God is within you. Okay, So
(27:06):
everything that he describes about the kingdom really has nothing
to do with anything outside of me. It has everything
to do with what's in me and understanding the Kingdom
within me. Understand, that's me understanding.
Speaker 7 (27:18):
The God within me.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Because the kingdom is God to domain and God to domain.
The domain is the territory in which He rules over Alllujah.
It's his territory that he rules over, and it's the
rules by which he functions as God, which he functions
as God. And the Kingdom of God is within me.
(27:40):
That means that I am the place that God dwells.
That's why you can also staffy Manuel over your forehead
God with us.
Speaker 7 (27:48):
And I am.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Also functioning in a spiritual supernatural capacity. I function like
God does that right there, that right there. If we
could rapsta, we would start recognizing that we oftentimes as believers,
we ask God for things he's already given us. He
(28:09):
asked God to do things that He's empowered us to do.
That's why we lay hands on the sick because I
don't have to ask God for healing. He's placed himself
in me so that I could deal with healing based
on what Jesus did by defeating it. He's placed himself
in me so that I can deal with sickness and
(28:31):
disease and even opposition in life. I can deal with
it with the wisdom of God that's within me. It's
it's right there in me. The Kingdom of God is
in you, and that's what makes us kings and priests
in His kingdom.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
That's the God a man and a man again. Music
being featured during this podcast. We opened with Hallelujah, and
we're getting ready to hear exceedingly.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Oh wow, thanks, so listen. Hallelujah is a song that
kind of comes from my childhood church. The ones ever
recorded it as a song, so I took it and
revamped it and changed it because it is a song
that speaks the sentiment of my heart. It is the
chance that I love so much. It is it is
(29:31):
me praising God with God's name in it, because God's
name is the highest there it is hallelu Yeah. So uh,
that song there, it really just it just speaks of
the worshiper, and it declares that the worshipper is saying,
I'm here, you're in me, and listen, I released the
you and me out into the atmosphere. Hallelu hallelu lujah, hallelujah.
(29:56):
So that's the US hallelujah. Now this exceeding abundantly. That
song was birthed during prayers because one of the things
I do, especially when I'm in a congregation for the
most part, I pray scripture, even if I'm not quoting it,
but I pray the scriptures. I pray the scriptures. And
that's what happened. Ephesians chapter one, chapter two, chapter three
(30:18):
came up in my prayer, and when I got to
chapter three, instead of just praying it, it turned into
a chant and it became a song. I was so
glad they recorded it because I went back and took
it and turned it into an actual song. Exceeding abundantly
above all that you could ask for think and it's
based on the power that work itin us. Guess what
that power is.
Speaker 7 (30:39):
The love of God.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Guess what love is.
Speaker 7 (30:42):
Love is God.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
It's the God with the end that exceeding abundantly. Is
to encourage the saints to know that if you can
think it, God wants.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
To do more than that. So elevate your mind, man
and the postle Mason, what are your websites? Booking information
and social media pages for the Kingdom?
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Thank you for an opportunity to share that. So I'm
still working on website, but you can find me on
social media on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok as Alvin Mason
on Facebook, and I think it's the same on all
of them, and on there we share some things that
we're getting ready to do even more. We also have
a YouTube channel on the doctor Alvin Mason, Doctor Alvin
(31:36):
Mason a YouTube channel and you can find us on
there as well.
Speaker 7 (31:43):
And how made the Kingdom purchase your music and support
your ministry?
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Oh so at the current moment, so we're working on
a new device whereby people can purchase the songs and
please shot them and own them to do it as
they please. But until then if you would just consider
the music that of these two songs, we got five
more songs that are coming out. With these two songs,
(32:12):
you can sign them on any music platform and just
play them stream them every time the count rows up
of how many times it's played. A stream that gives
us an opportunity to be able to make money, and
the money help support being able to do more projects
as well.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
A man.
