Dodgeba, Peace and blessings to you. Peace are released to
you in the name of our Lord and Savior. Yes,
you were the Messiah. I am your radio Apostle Apostle
(04:38):
John E. Ross, creator and host of this podcast, lead
Apostle and founder of Omega International Prophetic Ministries, and thank
you for tuning in for season nine The Number of
Divine Completeness and then Let's Talk to the Lord gospel
radio talk show and Kingdom. Our guests for season nine
(05:01):
of Let's Talk to the Lord is gospel recording artists
Desiree Fox Kingdom. Desiree born in Canada, is now a
resident of Orlando, Florida, Kingdom. Despite not realizing her vocal
talent initially, Desiree quickly found herself drawn to the stage and,
(05:23):
by the age of twelve, captivating audiences with her soulful voice.
Her experiences include Canada Idol and touring with theater companies
throughout Canada. Desiree Fox, Welcome to Let's Talk to the Lord.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Thank you so much for having me. It's such a blessing.
I'm so excited.
Speaker 10 (05:49):
And before we begin our discussion, please tell the Kingdom
a little more about you. Who is Desiree Fox?
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Oh my goodness, Well, first and foremost. I love the
Lord wholeheartedly. God is good all the time. I ain't met.
I'm a mother, I'm a wife. I've been singing a
very long time, since I was twelve. We won't say
(06:22):
how long a long time. I'm from Canada, as you mentioned,
and I'm one of indigenous descent, which is also pretty
pretty neat. And I just feel like I've been called
to spread love and helpe and glorify God through music,
through producing music, conversations I have in a grocery line.
(06:46):
My husband's like, you've never met a stranger? Does there?
I said, well, I ain't that the truth? So I
just you know, I'm here, And like I said, anything
to glorify God, I'm here, and that's that's who I am.
Speaker 10 (07:01):
Man and such a fox. Please tell the Kingdom when
and where Christ found you and share a little of
your journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior Christ. Jesus.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Oh my goodness, God is so good all the time.
He truly is. Well. I didn't grow up in a
Christian home, actually, and Jesus found me, So I'm trying
to find a way to say this gracious for you.
So I grew up in a home that there was
a lot of trauma and stuff like that, and God
(07:38):
showed up in such a profound way, and from that
moment on it just was like I knew I experienced
the Living God and the power of his name and
how good he is, and you know, from a very
young age, five years old, you know, and he came
to me. So it really truly is an incredible testimony. Yeah,
(08:00):
I wish we had a lot of time because we
could go really into it, but it definitely it's just
a testament of how God strengths his faithfulness, how good
he is, how powerful he is just to overcome everything
and being overcomer because of Him. So I just got
to say all the time. I mean, we wrote a
(08:22):
song about it, and God so good right all the time.
So I can't stay that enough. I am living proof.
Speaker 10 (08:30):
Amen. And what is your calling and purpose in the
Body of Christ and in the Kingdom of God.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Well, I guess first and foremost spread the Gospel of Jesus.
I think everybody in ministry, I mean, we're called to
do this. I love to do it. I love the Lord.
Anytime I have time to tell anybody about the Lord,
I can't wait, it's my favorite thing to do. So
I'm also an encourager. I love people, I truly did,
(09:00):
and I love to encourage. I've always been that way
ever since I was little. Yeah, and you know, he
found me and I have been that one of ninety
nine at times in my life, and He's just given
me this gift to you know, talk to people and
help people and encourage people, and not just by way
(09:21):
of music, but just who He's made me to be
to glorify Him. And gosh, it's just such a wonderful
honor to love God, to know God, and to be
used by God in such a mighty way. I'm so
eternally grateful for God and for that. So I think that, yeah,
(09:42):
that's that's my calling to be called to ministry and
to minister and that good stuff.
Speaker 10 (09:48):
So in Kingdom, I will be interviewing Sister Fox about
the testimony and her story behind the song I'll fly
Away to begin. The phrase, our flyaway expresses the hope
for us Christians and all who are in relationship with
(10:08):
God through Christ Jesus, that one day, when our lives
in this earth dimension is over, our spirit will leave
this earthly dwelling to a divine body prepared by God
in the third heavens, where Christ and God is, is
where we will be provided we are prepared to meet
(10:34):
the Lord and Second Corinthians the ninth and the tenth
verses is where the apostle declares in verse nine, so
we aspire to please Him, whether we are here in
this body or away from it in verse ten, For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ,
(10:56):
that each one may receive his due for the things
done in the body, whether good or bad, indicating that
every individual, regardless of status or believed saved or unsaved,
ready or not, we will all stand before the judgment
(11:17):
throne of Christ. This judgment seat is distinct from the
great White throne declared in Revelation the twentieth chapter the
eleventh through the fifteenth verses, which is for unbelievers. Here
we are focusing on believers Christians, those who are in
relationship with God through Christ. We will be evaluated for
(11:40):
our works, not for salvation secure through faith in Christ.
This highlights individual accountability, which means we will be rewarded,
which should be our goal every day that we are
alive in this earth dimension and based on our faithfulness
(12:00):
and obedience to God's command. Our judgment pertains to actions
taken during our life rooted in God's righteousness kingdom. The
Greek word used here are agathos meaning good and follows
meaning bad, denoting not just the outward actions but somebody say,
(12:26):
but but the motivations and the intentions behind them. This
judgment is not about condemnation for us, but about assessing
the quality of our services and faithfulness. God has a
system in place. If we obeyed, there is a heavenly
(12:47):
reward for obedience. If we disobey, we cannot receive the
reward for obedience and completion. This is the reason why
I always say is better to obey and complete and
not leave here too soon, because if we pass too soon,
we cannot receive the intended reward for obedience and completion.
(13:11):
We should desire to complete and try our best to
obey God so the enemy does not succeed in taking
us out before God's intended time kingdom. Where we go
after this time of evaluation is a separate topic and
teaching for another time. Sister Fox, please tell your testimony
(13:36):
and share the story behind the song I'll Fly Away.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Yeah. Absolutely, The song fly Away was written for all
of those signing themselves lost in that balance of grief
and the reminder of the hope we have in Christ.
And unfortunately, grief is nothing new in this journey for me,
so the song particular really holds a huge significance to me.
(14:04):
The song really is a reminder that no matter what
we face, God has promises in place for us. And again,
like you said, it's it's not goodbye, it's only until
we meet again. And this unwavering hope that we have
in Christ and the peace and rest that only Jesus
can give. Interesting story one of the co writers on
(14:25):
the song, Carl, he actually lost his wife during the pandemic.
So this song is is just not only personal to me,
but it's personal to Carl and Carl, and it's personal
to my husband as well. And it's amazing then when
when you gather people to write, what can come out
of it just by how good God is and how
(14:46):
He can use you so creatively to write something, especially
when you're writing from a place of just profound grief
and despair. And again, the only way to be filled
is to know God and to know his promises and
just trust him through it. So the song is very,
very you know, it has a profound, significant significance. Rather
(15:12):
for all of us who wrote the song, produced it
in and ultimately put the song out. So it really
is amazing. It really has a story in and of itself.
Speaker 10 (15:23):
And Kingdom Jesus declared in the scriptures profound insights that
provide comfort, hope, and understanding about the nature of death
and the promise of eternal life. Yes you would, Jesus
teaches and emphasize us that death is not the end,
by a transition to a life in communion with God,
(15:47):
Praise God. So it's never goodbye, but until we meet again.
Revelations twenty one and four declares he will wipe away
tears from their eyes, and death shall be no more.
Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore,
for the former things have passed away. Romans fourteen and
(16:11):
eight declares, for if we live, welcome we live to
the Lord. And if we die to the Lord. So
then whether we live or whether we die, we are
the Lord's Ecclesiastes twelve and seven declares, and the death
returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit
(16:32):
returns to God. Who gave it. Romans six and twenty
three declares for the wages of sin is death, but
the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord. And finally, the fourteenth chapter of the
First through the fourth Versus declares, in John, let not
(16:53):
your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
In my Father's house meaning heaven are many rooms meaning matches.
If it were not so, I would have told you
that I go to prepare a place for you. And
if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again and will take you to myself. That
(17:18):
where I am you may be also, and you know
the way to where I am going. Sister Fox, please
speak a word of encouragement to those who are in
the season of sadness due to loss of a friend
or family member.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Sure, I would say to those who are grieving, it's
okay to grieve their own way. And there's no one
way of grieving. And it comes in waves and it's
fifteen years later it presents itself and you're like, where
did that come from? Or you find yourself you know,
the waves crashing all of the time. But one scripture
(18:00):
in particular that I held on to and I'm constantly
reminded of is Psalm thirty four eighteen. The Lord is
close to the broken hearted and saves those who are
crushed in spirit. And man, did I hang on to
that for dear life through those seasons, because I've had
some crazy testimony of just really a tragedy and grief
(18:21):
and stuff like that, as I'm sure some of the
listeners here know all too well as well. But again,
you just spoke a word. Hanging on to those promises
and knowing the word and knowing God's promises and hanging
on to those are just it's freedom. It really is freedom.
And just know that in your morning, God is still good.
(18:43):
He is always good. Take each day as it comes,
Lean into him. He is the Prince of peace. Trust
him and he will hear your heart. I know because
I've literally personally lived it more than once. And all
I know over and over and over is that God
is good, and God is love and God is He
(19:03):
will not forsake you, He will not ever leave you.
He is He is your constant and your strong power.
So again, God is amazing, And.
Speaker 10 (19:13):
Sister Fox lives in with you sharing a testimony of
surviving losing a friend or family member and how God
brought you through during that time.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Yeah, it's exactly that I think of grief as a
journey rather than a destination, because it does come in ways,
because God is constantly showing up and teaching you things
and reminding you of things. And you know, to love
and have lost, that's really only an earthly thing, you know,
to love and lost, it is not a godly thing.
You know, we will see our loved ones again, we
(19:48):
will be with Jesus again, and just to directly speak
to them that our mourning. I know your pain. I
understand its weight. I know the truth. God is the truth,
and He's and He's promised to be close to you,
and I know by personal experience, God's love is still present.
He's with me, and he will be with you. He
(20:08):
will carry you through. He has been my stability and
my strength, especially when you know my emotions were all
over the place and when I had particular bad days
where I was like, today is not the day, but
today is to rejoice in the Lord, because anytime is
a good time to rejoice and to be grateful and
(20:31):
to give thanks to the Lord. No matter where you
find yourself, because He is good, and he is there,
and he is your strength.
Speaker 10 (20:41):
