Speaker 5 (05:52):
Man.

Speaker 9 (05:52):
I'm honored, my brother.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
And before we begin our interview, please tell the Kingdom
more about you. Who who is Sam Stewart?

Speaker 9 (06:02):
Well, yes, yes, uh. I want to say that I'm
a faithful follower of Christ. That's what I truly want
to be known for. But you know, I grew up
in the streets of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, wanting
to make an impact and make a difference in my community,
just seeing the challenges and the struggles, the drugs and

(06:25):
the violence and everything going on in the community. When
I came to the Lord, I just had a heart.
I wanted to do something right, you know, and so
that's the passion that drives me. But you know, I'm
a husband, a father, and like I said, you know,

(06:46):
I'm just trying to follow what the what the Lord
has for me.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
A miss, Brother Stewart, please tell the Kingdom when and
where Christ found you and share a little of your
journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Speaker 9 (07:02):
Ay Man Amen, I appreciate that. Yeah, the work came
into my life right on time. It was a period
where I started going down the wrong path. Assault and
battered someone in high school. I broke his nose and
gave him two black guys, got kicked out of school,
got caught stealing and kmart stealing some rap CDs, you know,

(07:22):
back in the day. And I found myself from probation
and just trying to fit in. And I mean there
was no real reason for me to act out this way,
just trying to fit in and prove, you know, myself
to the guys in my neighborhood. So my pops, you
know at the time, and he saw all this and
he said, well, you know what, at fifteen years old,

(07:43):
you're gonna go to work. You know, we're gonna get
you out the streets and teach you how to work.
So my first job, I was washing buses at Rain
and Ross Bus Company. It was a black owned business
on the west side of Las Vegas, a dumping toilets
and cleaning the chairs and in between the seats and

(08:04):
just learning how to work and just getting away. And
then there was a coworker that has witnessed Christ to me,
you know, for the first time. You know, I've never
heard it the way he presented it, and so my
heart was wide open. And then he ended up bringing
me to a Bible study and they were teaching on

(08:26):
the Book of Revelation, which, if you know my testimony,
that is the first book I was introduced to in
the Bible, and I really have a you know, a
close attachment to that book. You know, a lot of
other Christians kind of stray away from the book, but uh, yeah,
I really love that book. That's the book that brought
me to the kingdom. So of course at fifteen, I accepted.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
The Lord and it's just been.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
Well, it's been a battle.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
You know.

Speaker 9 (08:53):
I wish I would say I've done everything right since
I was fifteen years old, but you know, God's grace
has been with me. And that's that's saying. Well, the real,
the real thing that I would like to say is that,
you know, at two years old, my mom separated from
my dad. They got a divorce, and my mom ended

(09:15):
up developing a mental illness and the doctors called it paranoia,
schizoph schizophrenia, and she began to become abusive physically, physically
and verbally abusive. And that really you know that that
shocked in my world, that really tore my world up.
You know, here is a person that's supposed to nurture

(09:37):
you and love you becomes she becomes the abuser. And
so at fifteen, my heart was crying out for that
love and acceptance. And so Jesus fulfilled that void. He's
showed me a love that I've never experienced and an
acceptance that I've never experienced. And so I was just
addicted to Christ after that. So I definitely wanted to

(10:02):
get that part out.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Hey man brother saying what is your future vision for
his hop Nation and radio?

Speaker 9 (10:15):
Yeah, here's how Nation. We are a nonprofit organization. We
started back in twenty twelve as a Christian hip hop venue,
five thousand square foot facility, and we were doing shows
every month. Man, We were really making an impact here
in Las Vegas. We were able to run for about

(10:36):
six and a half years, but we had to shut
down like right before COVID. And so now after COVID,
and I'm not saying COVID was the reason, but I
had some personal growth I had to undergo as well
with my faith. But now post COVID, we're doing events
around town. But we're looking to get another home bay,

(11:00):
you know, we want to get another building for the venue,
for the headquarters, and also for the network, the radio
network and the app. Of course, we want to get
as many app downloads as possible. His Hot Radio is
the app on all platforms. And we really want to
impact and change our culture for Christ because we know

(11:24):
how important media is, how powerful music and podcasts and
spoken word, all these medias play a powerful part in
our culture on the direction that we're headed. So we
just want to take it back from Satan and we
want to give it back to God. So that's what

(11:45):
his hop is all about.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
Hey man, a man and a man again, Brother Sam,
please announce our topic, begin coord discussion and let's go
to the word of God.

Speaker 9 (12:04):
Amen. Amen, Well, let's get to the word. So the
topic today is Matthew chapter eighteen, verse nineteen, and this
scripture speaks on the power of agreement in prayer. Agreement
is so important, So the importance of unity among believers

(12:26):
when we make a request to God is so important.
To be united. It amplifies our faith and it demonstrates
that all of us in a group as a whole,
we all rely on our creator we rely on the
power of God to answer prayer. Just like the early

(12:47):
Church and Acts twelve five through twelve, how they all
came together in agreement and they just storm the gates
of heaven with their prayer. And so God also promises
us that he will answer us when we make agreement.

(13:07):
When there's a verse that says when two or more
are together, he's in the midst of us. And also
as Versus says that one can send a thousand to flight,
but two can send ten thousand to flight. If I'm
a quoting that correctly verbatim, But we get the heart
of the scripture. It's like when we come together and

(13:29):
we align our prayers with God's will, right, we got
to be praying in God's will. Then the Word assures
us that our prayers are affectives. But also when faith
in unity go hand in hand, agreement isn't just verbal,

(13:50):
but require spiritual alignment in faith, motivation, and purpose. In
other words, unity. This is something that I truly believe
that has been struggled in the Body of Christ and
in different ministries. Of course, I can say from personal

(14:10):
experience in my own ministry, we've struggled with unity because
people come and they have their own agendas or they
have their own ideas, and they want to do it
their own way. And to be truthful, all of us
need to be seeking the will of God because God's

(14:33):
way is the only way that will bring us success.
God's way is the only way that will ensure protection
and security and love. You know, God, There's something that
God has placed on my heart, like a couple of
days ago, and I was just researching. I was doing
this study on why does God? Like why do people

(14:55):
go to Hell?

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Right?

Speaker 9 (14:57):
I mean, Hell is a topic a lot of people
don't want to really talk about, but it's real. It's reality.
The Bible speaks on it, Jesus speaks on it. And
I'm like, why is God's wrath so hot? And why
are people punished so severely for I mean things like
outbursts of wrath and sexual im morality and stuff like this,

(15:18):
Like Wow, I'm like, God, you know why it is
so severe? Like why for one thing? It makes you
fear the Lord and it makes you shun all of
the sin. But the reason that it's such an extreme
punishment is because God is a loving God and God
doesn't want anything to hurt his children. Like if you

(15:41):
love someone, you love your children and your family, anything
or anyone who threatens your children or your family, you
are going to protect them with all means necessary. And
I get it, I get it.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 9 (15:57):
If I come in and I become a perpetrator and
I start hurting the Body of Christ and start causing
division on all this other stuff, like I need to
fear God, you know, fear God's judgment because I'm hurting
his children, I'm hurting the body. And so that is
one of the reasons why I believe agreement and unity

(16:18):
is so important in the Body of Christ, because this
is this is His family, this is His children. And
so what we need to do is we need to
contend for the unity. Right the Bible tells us that
these are all commandments and instructions contend for the unity
of the spirit as brothers and sisters. Like if something

(16:40):
comes up, if there is an issue or anything like that,
like we need to contend to resolve the issue, not
just write the person off and go off and do
our own thing and forget about the person. And now
you got unforgiveness in your heart. And that's a whole
other topic unforgiveness, right, because Jesus tells tells us that

(17:01):
if we don't forgive our brother or heaven, any father
in heaven will not forgive us. See, that's hurting his children,
that's hurting the body if you can't forgive one of
his children and you bring that hurtful spirit that because
unforgiveness brings a lot of other things. It brings sickness,
it brings mental illness. If you really look at the

(17:23):
impact in the effects of unforgiveness, even just on a
humanly level, just our human physical bodies, it's a cause
of a lot of diseases itself. So just imagine in
the spiritual realm. So this is really really how we
really need to contend and really understand and listen to

(17:46):
what the Spirit is saying, listen to what the Bible
is teaching us that we must be in agreement. Agreement
starts with resolving conflict and maintaining a spirit of reconciliation.
You know, we have to keep that spirit of reconciliation
and everything. And so I mean, of course, the surrounding

(18:08):
versus discuss church discipline and forgiveness and the power of
binding and loosening you know the principles of agreement applies
not only to prayer, but also to decisions made within
the Body of Christ. And so even our own decisions
should there should be some agreement in there. And man,

(18:30):
it's just this topic, if you could tell, there's really
close to my heart because I've seen so many churches
split now, I've seen.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
So many ministries.

Speaker 9 (18:40):
Get dissolved or just go go, you know, split because
somebody thinks they're better, they're smarter or greater, and they
want to challenge the leader and take half the people,
and that they miss it like we're supposed to be
doing Guy's will. And I believe that if we submit

(19:02):
is the Bible says, submit one to another, and the
Bible teaches us to work in another man's field, and
then you will get your own. So I do believe
that a point will come to where you can get
your own and have what you desire once you submit
to the process.

Speaker 5 (19:21):
So a man, a man and a man again. Kingdom.
Our topic for discussion is coming from Apostle Matthew, the
eighteenth chapter and the nineteenth verse Kingdom. I will begin
reading from the eighteenth verse, verse eighteen. Truly, I tell

(19:43):
you whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Verse nineteen. Again, I tell you truly that if two
of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for,
it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven.

(20:08):
Verse twenty. For where two or three gather together in
my name, there I am with them. Kingdom, the Amplified
Bible declares again, I say to you that if two
believers on earth agree, that is, are of one mind
in harmony, about anything that they ask within the will

(20:30):
of God, it will be done for them by my
Father in Heaven Kingdom. Again, I tell you truly. This
phrase declares the authority and the truthfulness and the genuineness
of Yeshua's words. Kingdom, the Greek word for truly is
a man, translated as a man, which means so be

(20:56):
it or verily. Verily means in truth, certainly and truthfully
and confidentially, emphasizing the reliability and importance of this teaching.
In other words, this is a divine agreement assuring the
disciples us of the certainty of his promise and the

(21:20):
sacredness of this message. If two of you on Earth
to decrease the power of collective prayer and agreement. Kingdom
understand in Jewish tradition, the testimony of two witnesses was
required to establish a matter. Here is declaring our needs

(21:42):
and spiritual matters are like legal ones, strengthened by the
agreement of multiple parties. Kingdom on Earth establishes the divine
connection between the earthly and the heavenly realms. Kingdom, agree
about anything you ask for. Agree from the Greek here

(22:03):
is derived from the English word symphony. It implies unity
of purpose. This agreement means seeking God's will, and this
agreement here means to seek God's will because we are
to seek God's will. This denotes the biblical principle that

(22:27):
God delights in granting and his willingness to respond to
the prayers of his people provided they align with His
will and purpose. It will be done for you a
powerful assurance that He will respond. Kingdom. The phrase it

(22:48):
will be done for you is a divine commitment reflecting
God's sovereignty and faithfulness. This speaks to the creative power
of God's word, making what you are asking for a reality.
This reassures us and encourages us to approach God with confidence,

(23:13):
knowing that our prayers, when aligned with God's will, has
the power to effect change kingdom. There is power in
the agreement of God's joint heirs coming together in prayer.
In regards to anything, even with two God is there

(23:34):
no matter the size or the number of people. The
key is asking it in entire acceptance to the will
of our Father in Heaven. This is power in joint intercession.
Understanding there may be some restrictions, meaning the thing asked

(23:58):
for must be a lie lying to the will of God,
your creative purpose, good in itself, and expedient for the petitioner.
Expedient meaning a course of action or plan. The prayer
must be fervent, earnest, faithful and preserving Kingdom preserving meanings

(24:23):
to look after, protect, maintain, and care for, knowing God
has our best interest in mind, encouraging us to trust
in God's perfect wisdom and timing. Brother Sam Stewart, please

(24:43):
give the final words on our topic from discussion from
Matthew the eighteenth chapter and the nineteenth verse.

Speaker 9 (24:52):
Amen.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Amen.

Speaker 9 (24:53):
If you really break it down, it all comes down
to love, because love will make it easy for us
to agree to come together to submit to church discipline,
to basically purge the body. You know, if you cherish something,
you want to keep it pure, you want to keep
it clean. And it's a challenge. Why would God put

(25:19):
us on this earth knowing the condition of the human
heart and tell us to be perfect and to be
holy and to be clean. Well, we can do it
in His power and in His power alone. But also
it is such a sweet and great reward when we

(25:39):
do so. There's no egos, there's no big man on campus,
when we all come together in agreement and do it
together for the glory of God.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
Amen. Brother Sam Stewart, please introduce yourself to the Kingdom if.
