(06:00):
honor and privilege to open season ten of Let's Talk
to the Lord with Pastor Morgan. Pastor Morgan, welcome to
Let's Talk to the Lord.

Speaker 14 (06:18):
Thank you so much for including me and allow me
to be a part of your platform.

Speaker 13 (06:24):
And I have been anticipating this, so I'll say, let's
get to it. Let's talk to the Lord.

Speaker 15 (06:33):
And before we begin our interview and discussion, Pastor Morgan,
in your own words, please describe the story of your life.

Speaker 14 (06:48):
Well, the story of my life is very intriguing in
the fact that I was born preachers, good born on
the road, and my parents were evangelists and then founded
a church in New Orleans, and so I was very
privy to gospel because my mother was a church organist.

(07:11):
My dad was a jazz guitarist, and that's probably why
I had that little jazz flavor to R and B
flavor to my gospel.

Speaker 13 (07:18):
But you know, I grew up really in a staunch environment.

Speaker 14 (07:25):
It was very difficult to breathe.

Speaker 13 (07:28):
And when I say that in the.

Speaker 14 (07:33):
In respect of creativity, and I knew that God had
in he had had definitely impregnated me with something that
a lot of people don't get to have. And so
you know, the enemy attacked me and I spent a
youthful life with drug addiction cocaine, cracked in and out

(07:54):
of juvenile attentions, in and out of jail, and.

Speaker 13 (08:00):
Cleaned up a little bit.

Speaker 16 (08:01):
Had a lot of heavy, heavy charges on me. But
you know, I just kept on pressing. You know what
I'm saying. I just kept on pressing.

Speaker 14 (08:07):
So you know, my life in a nutshell is something
in the fact that God shows me and he was
not going to waiver his investment and his return on
his investment, and so God wouldn't let go of me
until I turned around and started doing what he called

(08:29):
me to do.

Speaker 13 (08:30):
And so pretty much, I mean, I could go on
and on, but.

Speaker 15 (08:36):
I'm just I'm.

Speaker 14 (08:37):
Here because he keeps pressing and because I love him
so much, because he keeps covering me.

Speaker 17 (08:43):
Yes, and Pastor Morgan, please tell the Kingdom when and
where Christ found you and share a little of your
journey to relationship with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Speaker 13 (08:59):
Well, I mean, so, I mean, I can't, I can't
can that up?

Speaker 14 (09:04):
There are so many points and momentous occasions and monumental
geographical locations where God just arrested me and pushed me
up against the wall and said, are you gonna do
what I called you to do? And many times I
said no, Not so much in my vocabulary or my audible,

(09:27):
you know, audibly, but in my actions. I just I
kept saying no, And so he just kept giving me
a space of grace until he slacked out the rope
and I fell myself in jail, not for the first time.
But you know, I don't even remember how many times
I just told God, I said, I don't want to
do this no more. I want to come back or

(09:47):
any more. I've been coming here since I was fourteen.
I was twenty nine years old. He started going there
when I was fourteen years.

Speaker 13 (09:54):
Old, I think.

Speaker 16 (09:56):
And I just said, God, to give me a strategy.
And so God ga mere strategy, and that was accountability.
And that's what I termed my life aground.

Speaker 15 (10:05):
And Pastor Morgan, what is your calling and purpose in
the Body of Christ and in the Kingdom of God?

Speaker 16 (10:14):
Clarity and restoration. First of all, clarity.

Speaker 14 (10:20):
We have to be careful as men of the cloth
that we do not misrepresent Jesus Christ Man.

Speaker 16 (10:30):
We must bring clarity. We cannot bring judgment.

Speaker 14 (10:35):
We bring wisdom and witnesses to the greatness of our
Lord Jesus and our Savior Jesus Christ. And so anytime
I see people bringing division, I mark them. I'm not
saying I cut them off or discard them, but I
marked them. I ear marked them, which means I'm going

(10:57):
to keep my peripheral vision on you because if you
are so into vision against something that we're supposed to
be marching in accordance and rhythm, if you are bringing
something against that, that I have to keep that little.

Speaker 13 (11:17):
Thing in my mind. You understand what I'm saying. Yes,
it's real simple, sir.

Speaker 14 (11:23):
You know, in day to day life, if we all
mark people who keep so in division in our lives,
you know what we will do.

Speaker 16 (11:31):
We will produce divisiveness, which.

Speaker 14 (11:35):
Is division just anything that diverts somebody's mind against the
division I mean division.

Speaker 13 (11:46):
So anyway, man, I just that's the way I feel
about it.

Speaker 15 (11:51):
And Man and Kingdom, I will be discussing with Pastor
Morgan from the topic under a h than heaven to
begin kingdom. Being under a open heaven means that you,
as a child of God, get whatever you need from
the Lord when you need it. It is also unhindered

(12:15):
manifestation in the earth realm of all that heaven is
of God's own glory and presence. Kingdom. When heaven breaks in,
universal laws can be temporarily or permanently suspended. Kingdom. When
heaven breaks in, we see and are witnesses to miracle, signs, wonders, healings, revelations,

(12:40):
creative miracles, and the move of the supernatural power of
God Kingdom. When there is a open heaven, that means
that the Cherubim are troubling the waters and anything you
need just to ask and receive. It's a outpouring of blessings.

(13:02):
It also means a window in heaven has opened with
wealth emerging. Angels are appearing. Signs and wonders and the
prophetic come forth, and we are under a overflow. Visions
come forth, and you begin walking and operating from another realm.

Speaker 18 (13:32):
Unselfishly died on cavalry, Oh how you gave a lie

paid and payed to it into the scene.

Speaker 21 (17:51):
You you you, you paid it all.

Speaker 15 (17:59):
More him. Please tell me your testimony and share the
story behind the song A open Heaven.

Speaker 14 (18:10):
Well, under an open Heaven came from a sermon that
my father preached, Bishop Joseph Morgan, and that's what he preached,
that we are under an open heaven. And it hit
actually my colleague, doctor Nathan Young and who is a
stout doucer, writer, etc. It hit us and we began

(18:37):
to declare it. And you have to understand I had
not been long out of jail for all kinds of stuff.
It was very challenging for me to do that. But

(18:58):
we wrote that song and we just again to declare
we're under open heaven. And that is the album that
God began to catapult me from. He began to show
me that if you do what I asked you to do, sir,
and you submit to me, I'm going to open up
the windows of heaven and so well, we began to

(19:20):
write the song and then, my god, it was amazing,
you know, just to see what God has been doing
through that album and that album is, you know how
old that album is.

Speaker 13 (19:35):
That album's been around for a long time.

Speaker 16 (19:37):
And it continues to.

Speaker 13 (19:40):
Speak the benefits of obedience and what God has called
us to do.

Speaker 15 (19:47):
And what was your motivation behind the Open Heaven Albums
one and two?

Speaker 14 (19:56):
My motivation was, I knew that God had put something
inside of me to draw people to Christ and I
understand that I was a reflection of His glory and
what He had called me to do. And it was
my motivation to create an album and records that that

(20:18):
just really brought that change in people's lives. You know,
if you look through the titles in that album, the
volume one and two, understand there's a very there's a
lot there, but it all comes from a place in
my life that.

Speaker 13 (20:32):
You know, I began to write from there and God
just blessed it. He blessed it.

Speaker 15 (20:43):
And Kingdom, when God's presence is poured out over our lives,
nothing remains the same. Kingdom, It is truly a honor
and a privilege for God's sons and daughters to feef
at our Father's table. Deuteronomy twenty eight and twelve declares

(21:05):
the Lord will open the heavens the storehouse of his bounty,
to send rain on your land in season, and to
bless all the work of your hands kingdom. To prepare
or position for a open heaven, we must understand the
heart of our father God and be in a intimate

(21:28):
and obedient relationship with him. Move from all flesh self
efforts and position yourself to dependency on God in a
life of faith and decree and declare the supernatural move
of God. Then step out in faith, far soul.

Speaker 6 (22:12):
I was sidly.

Speaker 11 (22:20):
For so long I did not have a song, the pray,
press and feel my day, and clouds blocked miuy, But
there was the thoughts speaking to me, awaking the passion

(22:43):
so quiet in me, in me, so steal in.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Me, mhesh, yes I.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
Sho, I can't lay here and give up. No, I
choose to worship right now, Shoes.

Is that your face calling me.

Speaker 21 (23:45):

Speaker 5 (23:56):
You do have anybody in here tonight that chooses to worship.
Sometimes it gets bad. I just can't lay here give up.

Come on, put those hands in the air, just say
it with me. Come on, I choose the worship you, Lord.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
I choose the worship right here in the midst of
everything that I'm going through, God tells.

Speaker 25 (24:36):
Putting down my face, don't know where to go, don't know,
have nobody to talk to. But I'm made up my mind.
I'm point to worship you and spear it in in truth.
I bless your name, I glorify you right now. I'm
desperate for your presence. God, I'm coming up for you.

(25:03):
I'm a living witness.

Speaker 5 (25:04):

do it right now. Come on, he's healing me.

worship your saim.

Speaker 6 (26:54):
I'm gonna learns up.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
My heart is long fall small mint with the.

Speaker 15 (27:16):
A to Jesus, So pastor Morgan, help us. How do
we live in a state where God's presence can flow

(27:41):
freely in our lives?

Speaker 14 (27:46):
Well, you remind me of Psalms twenty seven. I just
spoke about this this past weekend and you know, the
Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?
And it goes on in incredible passage of scripture and
a psalm, a worship moment that David had.

Speaker 13 (28:05):
And I think that.

Speaker 16 (28:09):
He was putting into perspective because his people kept saying,
you're the lamp of Israel, You're the lamp of Israel.
But David always understood he was not the lamp. He
was a reflection of the lamp. And so because he
was a reflection of the lamp, he had to be
in the right position.

Speaker 14 (28:24):
Anybody that understands about reflection understands that you cannot reflect
into you in the right physician.

Speaker 16 (28:32):
And so when you asked me this question.

Speaker 13 (28:35):
I automatically think about the scripture where David said, the
Lord is my light.

Speaker 16 (28:41):
Yes, I'm not the like, I'm not the lamp. The
Lord is my like, he is my salvation. Whom shall
I fear?

Speaker 14 (28:48):
And so I think that it's incredible for us and
so profitable for us to understand that psalm.

Speaker 13 (28:57):
If you go back and look at why.

Speaker 16 (28:59):
David wrote that, he said this to his people, that's
what he wrote this song for, is all They.

Speaker 14 (29:05):
Said, no longer will you go out to war? Since
I think it's in second Sam and I wish I
had the reference, but he said no longer. They all
his boys because he almost got killed.

Speaker 16 (29:14):
They said, no longer, will you go out the war
with us? And less the lamp of Israel be quenched.
But David come back and wrote the Psalms. He said,
the Lord is my life.

Speaker 13 (29:24):
I'm not the lamp.

Speaker 15 (29:25):
I'm not the light.

Speaker 13 (29:26):
I'm the reflection of the light.

Speaker 14 (29:27):
And I think it's so important for us to be
kingdom changers, kingdom builders. It's for us to understand the
perspective of reflection. We cannot be drunk on success. We
cannot be drunk on what God begins to do on
our life and think it's about us. We are not
the light, and that's what blesses me. That's why David
was a man after God's own heart, because he understood protocol.

(29:52):
He understood he was not the light. And people will
puff you up, Bishop, people will put you in that
position and they will proclaim it you that light. And
you have to be a very very solidarity, a solid
solid man, and have solidarity to push against people who
are trying to puss you up because the same people
who love Saul changed and loved David. I don't care

(30:16):
what the reason is, but we understand the law of humanity.
We flow and grow towards what is flamboyant.

Speaker 13 (30:25):
So that's my testimony on.

Speaker 15 (30:27):
That Pastim Morgan. Let's end with a testimony from you
about a time in your life when you were under
a open heaven.

Speaker 14 (30:40):
When I got locked up and I was facing major
prison time, God forced me to the wall, the Holy
Spirit God on my shoulder, and he said, this is
the time to make the change. It didn't happen at
the altar. A lot of people's deliverance starts there and
ends there, but I did not. Mine started in the

(31:02):
jail cell and I said, God, what would you have
me do?

Speaker 16 (31:05):
I felt like Soli Tarsus. I'm just saying, uh, that's
my testimony. That was my That was my moment when
I felt like the windows of heaven. See a lot
of people think about when the windows open of heaven
open up.

Speaker 26 (31:18):
It's all about prosperity. It's all about new cars and
new houses and you know, fresh living. But sometimes God
opens up the windows of heaven to yank somebody out
of a prison centerce yank somebody out of addiction, yank
somebody out of depression. That sometimes the open window don't

(31:38):
have anything to do with money, how about that? But
it has to do with peace, joy and the Holy Ghost.
I wish I had a witness right there.

Speaker 15 (31:50):
