let me count my fingers and toesgive me a minute. Um, I
would, I would ask my wifeto do that, but it don't do
that. We've seen the pictures.A uh creepy. She Yeah, I
didn't think it's that bad. It'snot that great, but it's not but

(02:28):
body chills. It's just one ofthose things. She had her she had
her one week uh check up atthe foot doctor yesterday and they took the
wrapping and bandages off and uh soyou can see the stitching and it's,
uh, it's Gnarly's the word I'vebeen using. It's a very And you
thought it was a good photogenic opportunity. I did. I took a picture
of that. I took a picture. I took actually a couple of pictures

(02:51):
of her, he of her calfthat because they did heal surgery and that
that's not that's pretty min He'll neverlet her live that down. No,
no um our, our adopts areour daughter. Amy sent the picture of
it to her, text it andshe goes, that's not good. She
she wasn't quite thrilled with the pictureeither. And then I and I said,
hey, Elijah, but I go, did you show Elijah? And

(03:14):
he goes, I don't want tosee that. I go, come on,
you watch horror movies and blood andguts and he's like yeah, but
it's like because it's real, andso I think it's every time I mentally
think about it still since chills downmy legs. Let's see it. Let
me I'll post it on No,I asked her. I did ask her.
Yes, I go, okay,I post it on the Facebook group.
She goes, do not post thaton the Facebook? I go,
I said, can I do itfor my Tuesday? So I told her

(03:36):
I was going to post on theTuesday terror There. You post it and
just put a caption underneath there, get a leg up, something is a
foot Let Yeah it is pretty prettygnarly, but yeah it is Wednesday,
Seawan as our recording had a nicelittle guest chat, um, your guys
is week going okay? So farman making it through? Yeah, our
little bean had her tenth birthday yesterday, so turned double digits. I told

(04:00):
her it's hold on for a while. That's a happy birthday, all um,
she I told her, I said, hold on double digits for a
long time until you turn one hundred. Then you get triple digits. So
now all four are double digits. That's right, nice, nice, good
luck with that's right. Yeah,my goodness, gonna happen. Birthday.

(04:20):
That's awesome. Uh And Nate, you're like, so you're hanging in there
just a little a little tired.Yeah, a little different schedule this week
as far as sleep, So Igot you, Yeah, fell on it
a little. Yeah. It's gotthe toothpicks in his eyes, holding his
eyes up. Yeah, like thecartoon, they're kind of bending. Tom
Jerry, You're right, that's whoI thought. I remember, you see,

(04:41):
like the red veins and you knowthere, well we are glad the
creepies have joined us about as always. And uh, I guess what,
guess what? Oh? What right? Grumpy over here? What what do
you mean by that? You meanlike, you know, I can't wait?
Oh my gosh, what is itJoe time? Wait? It is
the dad joke of the show.So the other day, you know,

(05:04):
I was very hungry, which isall the time pretty much, so nothing
new there. I decided to goto McDonald's and I got a kid's meal.
Boy was the mom and son pissed? I got the kid's meal?
Yet? Yes, yeah, Igot I actually did get it. I

(05:25):
I was just waiting for that awkwardsilence. Yeah, that's uh the see,
I took the kid's meal and seeand I uh, by the way,
I thought. I thought i'd geta better reaction. I like that,
by the way, and I wasgonna I apologize ahead of time.
This was supposed to have been mentionedlast week, So I'm calling myself out

(05:47):
because it is sponsored. I wantedto do the dad joke and then focus
on the sponsorship afterwards. So yes, this dad joke is sponsored. Uh.
The sponsor is Cody Hill. Now. He is the owner of Hillside
lawn Care based out of Morrisville,Indiana. And this is the guy that
he just completed our landscape at ourhouse a few weeks ago and it does

(06:09):
look amazing. Now nice. Grantedwe did not have any landscape, I
mean barely, but no, hisprices are reasonable. He did a fantastic
job, very professional, very easyto work with. Um. He also
does lawn mowing as part of theservices that he offers, so he does
landscaping and mowing. So contact CodyHill today for a free quote, and

(06:31):
you can reach him by phone atthree one seven nine three seven one five
one again three one seven nine threeseven one five one, or you can
check him out on Hillside lawn Care, which he has a Facebook page.
Uh, make sure you tell himthat you heard about us on I'm sorry,
make sure you tell him tell himthat you heard about him on MAKEO.

(06:55):
That's why I mean lots of words. Yeah, but no, Cody
Hill, great guy and he doesfantastic work, very very good. Thank
you. We are very pleased withour landscape and we have gotten two or
three compliments which made us feel good. Yeah. Great guy though he's he's
a fantastic very professional. Um soyeah. Check out the Hillside Lawn Care,
which is the sponsor of the awesomejoke that I just did. Well,

(07:17):
appreciate our sponsors. We do appreciateour sponsors. We even appreciate are
the jokes. And I will say, I go, hey, Cody wat
se I want to go that far? I said, I asked him wat
segment? He goes, oh,dad joke absolutely, because he said he
likes to do dad jokes and hegets the eye roll, and you know
from his kids, that's the point, isn't it. I said, that's

(07:38):
yeah, then that's what you get. I mean, you know, you
gotta get the eye roll. Thatmeans you're you've succeeded. So yeah,
so give Cody, you know, give him a call or check him out
on Facebook. So anyway, itwas exciting to have a sponsor for that.
Now I'm going to turn over toyou, mister Seawan. I suppose
you want the first part of theannouncements. I'm looking at my show flow
notes and it says first announcements checkcheck. We are here as always every

That is what our Mako family isall about. A man right and fantastic.
Fantastic is makes us our French ShamrockO'Malley made a nice post the other
day Facebook group said that she appreciatesthe community that we've built, and I
said, that's what fuels us,you know, those comments like that,
Yes, it's they I mean, trust me, we like to hear that

(09:09):
they love the show and what wetalk about and they think we're awesome.
Yeah, I mean, well thisis like my wife tells me that all
the time, so kind of getthat gets old a little bit. Yeah,
yeah, uh no, but thatis exactly what we're talking about.
Somebody that appreciates the community that webuilt, well, you know, um,
but even before we put when wewere putting all the bits and pieces

(09:30):
in the foundation of this podcast togetherduring COVID, you and I would have
those discussions and that was one ofthe biggest things, is that we want
to make sure that we're putting somethingout there. And that was beyond this
exactly, and the emotional support groupwas in the community was a big part
of it. So we had thatand as a cornerstone. Honestly. So,
I am so impressed that we've donethis the entire time and then we're

(09:52):
going to continue to do so.I like what we do. You know
what, We've got a lot.We've got Nates he's oppressed. Nate's approval.
He is impressed. Stamp of approval. Yeah, uh, Nate approved.
Well then that's all we need, you know. We, like I
said, we want to talk aboutthe creepies, fun stuff, but I
mean it's gotta go past that, you know, I gotta go a little
bit more, right, that's thefun stuff. This is the serious stuff.

(10:15):
Are you saying we have depth?Mhmm, you're not going that far.
I think we do a little bitmore than I thought we'd ever had.
Uh No, but yes, uh, thank you for that, Sean.
Do you guys have any shout outs? I'm gonna say no this time,
No, you don't, Nate mM yeah, I'm right there with

(10:37):
the no. No. Man overtwo, I don't get to go out
and play in public, out doall the drivers on the road like I
do. You know, hey,get to do that, Johnny Bingo who
waited all okay, Well, youknow what most I do is hit a

(10:58):
grocery store on the way out tothe camper and I checked myself out,
so out to myself for the checkingout, fabulous check, scanning of product
and bagging. Yeah, well, you know what, that's good. I

(11:18):
think you need to call some ofthese numbers up here that we just gave
out. Sean, you want togo over that again? I absolutely yeah.
Well you know what, I'm gonnagive a shout out because I felt
so bad about forgetting to give hisuh sponsorship. Cody Hill again Hillside Long
Care. Give him a call.Check him out Hillside Long Care on Facebook
nine three seven one ere three oneseven Again. We are so proud and

(11:41):
feel great that we actually have somelandscape. And I think when we've gotten
compliments compliments, people are actually goingit's about time. I think that's what
they I mean, they know itlooks good zero, but I think they're
also going, thank you for givinga little more curb appeal to your place.
I'm like, no, worri aboutit. Did they think you're abode

(12:01):
was abandoned? Oh, we didn'tknow any of my love there No,
Cody May I'm telling you he dida great job. So anyway, my
shout out again is to Cody Hill. I'm keeping his information for sure,
yes and he yes, he's great. Okay. Other than that, don't
have any more shoutouts special announcements. As always, we want to mention our

We're gonna have some good food, good music, some awesome makeo merch

out fun. It's gonna be herebefore we know it, and then this

(13:11):
but they are still at the RandolphCounty Asylum. They still have their
tour flashlight tour from seven to eightthirty, so please go check out that
place, but we will not bethere. So I just want to make
sure you know, if if you'regoing to get my autograph, I won't
be there. I apologize. I'msorry, you know that's what I was
going forward. Yeah, we'll getthere at some point though. We will.

(13:31):
We will, and we've got acouple more uh you know we're talking
about. We'll get them schedule andthen we'll have those planning to do big,
big planning. So coming off ofthat, mister Seawan, tell the
creepies what this episode is all about. We just had a wonderful guest chat
with a new friend of the showis Damien Christie of RKB Paranormal. He's

(13:52):
also the co host of a podcastcalled Life Beyond six Feet Enjoy Creepies.
Hey, Creepy, we have aspecial guest on our show for this episode.
Uh. He is a co founderof the RKB Paranormal Team. Uh.
He does have a podcast called LifeBeyond six Feet. Let's bring on
Damien, Christy, Damien, howare you, sir? Good? How

(14:13):
are you guys? We're good.I'll let Sean and Nate say hi to
you. Hey, Damien, Hello, how's it going. We're good,
We're good. Thanks for coming onand taking your time. Yeah, hey,
thanks for having me on. Yeah, you're welcome. Glad to be
able to do this. Um,let's go ahead and just get into the
fun stuff. Um, Damien, tell tell our listeners and of course us,

(14:33):
how did you get into the paranormal? Now what I even begin?
Um, I've always been into itever since I was like a little kid.
Um really got into it when Iwas a teenager. Day my two
best friends are going up. Wewere all just always just really intrigued by
it. And um, you know, when we were drive instead of being

(14:56):
out of the weekend's partying and doingtypical teenagers stuff, we was out,
you know, going to cemeteries andbreaking into abandoned houses that we heard was
haunted and just trying to trying tofigure out if anything is actually going on
in these places. And being actuallystarting a team was something we always talked
about even though this was before allall the TV shows, so we didn't

(15:18):
even really knew that people would actuallydo this stuff. And then of course
from the shows came out, wewere like, oh man, they actually
there's actually people that go out anddo this that you know, we need
to actually do that. And so, you know, we we still talked
about it and talked about it,and then of course we got into adulthood
and we all got married and startedhaving kids and Bridess kind of was put
on the back murder, but itwas still always there. We always still

(15:41):
talked about it, and then wereally got gotten really into talking about it.
Was about two thousand and eight, two thousand and nine, my best
friend Keith to told me about WaverleyHills. He sudden me some stuff online
and he's like, man, wegot to go to this place. You
know they let people in there. We got to go. And in two

(16:02):
thousand and eleven, Keith was apolice officer in our hometown of Dixon,
Tennessee, and he was shot andkilled in the line of duty. And
so the dream of us three friendsthat kind of you know, kind of
came to just an unexpected hall wheneverhe passed away. But it was still
something me and my other best friendJosh, who's my co founder, still
something we talked about, you know, throughout the years. And then fast

(16:26):
forward to twenty twenty. You know, the pandemics shut everything down and you
know, can't really go anywhere. But I'm on vacation from work, so
I'm like, you know, I'mstill going to go some of these places
that probably are going to have alot of people in them regardless. So
I'm going to go check out someplaces that I wanted to check out,
and birth and Mountain State Pencentury wasone of them up in East Tennessee,

(16:47):
and so I took a three hourdrive up there run myself one day,
you know, checked it out duringthe day, and I was telling Josh
about it on the way home andhe was like, man, I wish
you would have told me. Iwould have rode with you. And so
me and him went back up thereabout a week later, you know,
did the day thing again, andI was talking about it on the way
home. I was looking at theirwebsite and stuff, and I was like,
hey, man, they you know, they allow investigations here. Let's

(17:07):
let's get some people together and comeback up here and do that, and
he said, yeah, let's let'sdo it. And so about a week
and a half two weeks later,we gathered up some friends and went back
up there. We was there forabout seven or eight hours and didn't have
no kind of equipment whatsoever. Wehad a digital recorder and an emfarchitactors,
so we didn't really get to documentanything. But we had so much stuff
happening throughout the night, everything fromdisembodied voices to hearing the cell doors swimming

(17:33):
shot, to having stuff thrown atus, just so much stuff. We
were like, man, this iscrazy. And so on the way home,
now I have to talk and tohim, I was like, man,
you know, we've been talking aboutthis since we were you know,
little kids, teenagers, and youknow we're on the wrong side of forty.
So if we're going to do thisthing, we need to go ahead
and do it now. And he'slike, you know, I agree with

(17:55):
you. And so totally. Thename I had mine, which there's our
KB Paranormal and RKB is the initialsof Keith. His then was Richard Keith
Beller, so we wanted to usethat to honor him and kind of still
have him with us here our investigations, and so the next morning I messaged
my tattoo guy had him designed mea logo. I had a Facebook page
up the same day and we hadour first official investigation about a month later.

(18:19):
And we've been going strong for threeyears. Actually three years yesterday we
started his team. So at theanniversary, that's cool. That is an
awesome story. Yeah, I hateto hear that, you know, the
death of your friend. That's that'shorrible. Um, but what a way
to honor him, you know? And Kep yeah, he would, Yeah,
and that's awesome. You know, used his initials. That's cool because

(18:41):
I was going to ask you whatthe RKB stood for, so you answered
that, Um, so yeah,So three years yesterday, that is that
is very cool. UM. Now, is it just like who's on you,
like the official team? Is itjust you and Josh still or have
you added other member verse to likebe an actual part of the team that

(19:02):
you know as far as um ordo you just bring people along with with
you guys or who's all on it? But when we first parted out,
we had quite a few people. We had a couple of people that went
with us to Crushing Mountain, andyou know, we had a few of
our friends that we added in.And before the first official investigation, it
was a bunch of behind the scenesstuff that was going on, and none

(19:26):
of us really wanted to participate. So me and Josh came to the decision,
we're just going to kick them allout. And so, and this
was about the time now wife hadjoined the team. So for the longest
time, it was four of us. It was me and and his now
ex wife and my current wife. You know, So for the biggest portion
it was only four of us,and then then throughout the last couple of

(19:48):
years, we've hadded some members. So right now we're we've got one,
two, three, four or fivesix seven. I think we're back up
to about eight. So it's meand my wife, are my life's his
son, he's almost sixteen. He'spart of the team. He does but
he can go. Of course,Josh and his now girlfriend is on part
of the team. One and oneof mine and Josh's a long time friends

(20:11):
from other mentory school's part of theteam. And then another one of our
good friends he's a part of us. So, like I said, it's
about seven or eighter list right now, so that is awesome. So you've
got so the sixteen year old.So, um, did he like as
as growing up? Did did healways like this type of stuff or just
as he's met you and is itsomething kind of new to him or I'm

(20:34):
just wondering since he's the young one. Yeah, he had experiences growing up
too. And you know, mywife, you know, his mom was
always into the paranormal whose he hada bunch of experiences growing up and stuff,
and he was always interested in itand that was kind of one of
the things that kind of drew ustogether whenever we first met. That was
like a big common interest was toparanormal And when he was younger, you

(20:57):
know name my wife's been together broalmost three years now, so he was
thirteen. We got together and hewas like, oh, man, I
want to go to a place withyou guys. And I'm like, well,
I was like, dude, Iwas like a lot of these places
you have to be eighteen, youknow, a lot of us you know,
insurance purposes, you know, theyusually gonna let minors in, I

(21:18):
think. But as soon as Ifound a place that you know, allows
people to come in, I waslike, I'll take you along and eventually
came across the place they were doinga public event, um place called Rosemont
and Gallatin, Tennessee, and theywere doing an all ages event, and
so I took him to it andhe absolutely loved it. And he's been
on I think three other investigations withus. Like I said, he don't

(21:40):
get to go that often, butwhenever we can take him, we take
them with us. Sure. Yeah, I just say, because he'd be
right, maybe a sophomore or juniorin high school. Yeah, he would
be a junior junior. Yeah, man, see it. I would have
loved it to be able to dothat. Yeah, sixteen years definitely.
You know. I like that stuffwhen it since I was a kid.
But but it's it's funny how like, uh, I know that it happened

(22:02):
with us when we first went toour first locations and stuff. It If
you're into it, it just likeit grabs you. It's it's like a
drug. You just want to keepgoing to these investigations appropriately or inappropriately,
it grabs you. That's true. It's like, um, it's like the
game. I was telling somebody,It's like the game of golf. Like

(22:23):
either you're into it or you're not. But it's like when my dad and
I would play, it's that youknow that that you could be playing horrible
and then that one good shot, whether it's a putt or a drive,
it brings you back well in adifferent roundabout way, like yeah, the
the paranormal you you might not haveanything, but it's just that potential.
You're at a creepy place. It'susually historical, and uh, it's just

(22:45):
that that adrenaline it does. Itdoes. It's like and just and if
you have something even minor bring itjust keeps ringing you back, and it
is it gets addictive because um,yeah, I wish we you know,
we we got obviously a late start. Uh and uh, I'm in my
fifties and we're on the wrong man. I would have loved to have started
yeah as a kid. But youknow, I mean we've talked about how

(23:07):
some people play cards, some peoplegolf, some people go out for beers.
Although we I mean, we couldstill do all that stuff, but
we do. That's what we enjoydoing, is going to do investigations.
We don't get to do it asoften as we like, but uh,
yeah, it's a blast. Itis. It is, but like Nate
said, it is, it's addictive. And um, you know, we
we've been to I think for threeor four or five places and uh,
you know, in the last coupleof years, so we're kind of getting

(23:29):
there. But how many, uhdo you try to do as far as
stay like on a monthly basis? How many investigations do you try to schedule?
Um? But we try to keepit to at least once a month.
Um. Sometimes maybe maybe once ofa couple of months. But um,
and the six years since we started, we've got probably roughly about thirty
investigations under a belt. Oh wow, that's a lot. Wow, that's

(23:51):
a lot. Yeah for not youknow, for just doing it for three
I mean really three years is along time, but it's not that long.
Um, it's yeah, it's alot of places. What um,
I want to ask you too beforewe start kind of getting into the investigations
and some of your stories. Um, do you guys like uh as far
as equipment and what is your styleof investigating? Tell us you know kind

(24:12):
of what you use if you useanything? Uh, anybody on your team,
like you know, is somebody designatedto be the video person and audio
or uh, how does all thatwork? Impaths? You know, yeah,
yeah, right. Do you haveany impaths or people that kind of
lean on that side of things asfar as being you know, UM sensing
what's going on. UM, well, well, first off, we're a

(24:34):
very respectful team. We're not oneof these teams that go in and and
provoke and and in cust of spiritsout and stuff like that. You know,
we go in freedom like we're stillalive and like they're right there in
front of us, UM location inone location that the people told us.
And you know, this is theonly way you can get them to interact

(24:56):
with you is if you're kind ofa jerk going. And so that's one
of the only times we actually kindof provoked and it worked. I mean
we got we got stuff happening. But I learned that, you know,
we're always going in respectful and stufflike that. UM. Equipment, I
mean, we try to keep itas basic as possible. You know,
camcorders, digital recorders, the MFattackers, UM, they have a rimpole

(25:17):
that's probably my favorite piece, UM, other than like a digital recorder because
you can get interaction with it.UM. We have an SLS even though
it kind of gets a bad rap, and you know, it does give
off a lot of false positives thatwe have catchers and stuff that finally left
us scratching our heads. Um,my wife's kind of a sensitives. He's
been told he's a little bit ofclaiboying, a little bit of a medium,

(25:40):
so you can kind of send somestuff even before we get to a
location. She's like, you know, I think it's going to be an
act of night, or he canfeel like somebody senting by besidder that of
course none of us can see orsentence. He's like, there's somebody right
beside me, and thus that waytoo. He kind of taps into that
stuff when we're in locations, sowe kind of have a couple of sensitives

(26:02):
on the team too. So,um, coming off of the what you
were saying about your wife, isthat something that she's recently discovered about herself
or is that something that she cango, oh, you know what,
it's happened since I was a littlekid or whatever she did say, and
stuff that's kind of happened throughout herlife, but she never really really even
really must thought about it. Andit's really me and her started dating,

(26:22):
and then she kind of started moreor less kind of accepting it, I
guess you could say, and kindof getting more comfortable with it. And
now you know, it's like aneveryday thing with her. You know,
it'll be like, oh, Ithink there's somebody standing here with me,
and about that time, something mighthappen, or you know, I'll get
the coach hills or something. SoI'm just like, you know, it

(26:44):
becomes second nature to her. SoI'm sensitive too. I wish I was.
I'm more of a rock in themiddle of the room. I wish
I was sensitive, insensitive to temperatures. Yeah, I think that is such
an added aspect to an investigative team, you know. I um, like

(27:04):
said Nate Shan and I've only beenon a few and I don't think we've
had anybody that's I mean, we'vebeen with Aaron egg Natz. Um.
I know she can kind of havea little bit of it, a little
feel, but as far yeah,I have a little feel. But I
think that'd be something other than theequipment. If, like I said,
if a team uses equipment, somedon't. Um, I think that's a

(27:25):
huge bonus to have somebody like that, And so Uh, to have her
come along and be able to,like you said, even even uh have
a feeling even before you get tothe location, like hey, I think
it's gonna be very active or itkind of gives you a little bit of
an edge how to prepare. It'slike a barometer, right yeah, right,
spook comme Yeah awesome. UM,And it sounds like you have a

(27:48):
lot of equipment. I'm pretty impressed. Like that's well, we all,
you know, take more or lesseasy equipment. Um, we have at
least one Champ orders of ptty mucheverybody on the team have try to have
at least one digital quarter with everybody. UM. So that way we're always
documenting, um, whether it beabout video or audio. And we did

(28:11):
ask this method a lot too,UM, but we've had quite a bit,
quite a bit of success with thattoo. So UM, I really
enjoy doing it, Josh loves doingit. In my life, it's only
done in a couple of times. So she's kind of she uh, she
kind of gets overwhelmed I think whenevershe does it, because she said,
you know, there's so many voicescoming through, and like I think she's

(28:33):
hearing them, not just through thespirit box. And stuff, but I
think she's like sharing them like thesadder and stuff too, so she gets
kind of overwhelmed at times with that. So she's only done in a couple
of times. Yeah, as Isay, I was going to ask you
about if she's being a sensitive andyou're doing est this method and how how
that was going to be coming throughto her. So yeah, her being
overwhelmed, I can I can understandthat, and that'd be a little bit

(28:56):
intimidating. And well, yeah, did you I looked at you early,
Rachelle, did you have a question? I think that's interesting. I did
kind of one of the looks oflike that's it's that is so interesting to
me. I think it's um.I think a lot of people have gifts
that they don't even you know, tap into. So I think it's really
cool that that your wife has thatand then that she can feel that.

(29:18):
Um. The other thing is isthat it's neat that she's you know,
presensing. I like that that she'syou know, already kind of tapping into.
For me, I love to knowabout the history of the place and
what the feel is like. SoUM, I just I find that fascinating.
I re find it interesting. Ohyeah, do do you guys?
Um? I know a lot ofinvestigative teams have different approaches as far as

(29:42):
especially sensitives. They some of themdon't want to know anything about the place
they're going to. Uh, youknow, they'll obviously they'll know the name,
but that's about it. They don'twant to know the backstory. Uh.
And then some people, whether it'ssensitive or just uh, you know,
part of investigative team, they wantto know everything about it going in.
So do you guys have a certainapproach or do you just kind of

(30:03):
maybe here and there as far aslike what you want to know ahead of
time about a certain location. Ithonestly just kind of varies from from investigation
to investigation. Sometimes when we goin completely blind, don't thing with the
name, And then you know, when we get there and like, well
do you want to walk through? And sometimes it look telling me. Sometimes
they're like no, we just wantto see a fifth wall we can gather

(30:26):
you know, totalate with with otherstuff that's happened here. So it just
it just kind of depends, gotcha, Yeah, Because you know, hearing
a lot of investigations or I'm sorry, investigative teams on different shows. You
know. I know some have saidsay, like the lead investigator want that
he or she wants to know. But if they bring in a sensitive a

(30:47):
lot of them say, Nope, don't don't tell me anything. You guys
can know about it, but Idon't want to have a heads up because
they want to go in fresh.Uh have you know, zero knowledge of
what's going on and what the historyis all about, what good or bad
or all of it? So,UM, yeah, I was just curious
to see, like what your approachwas. Um, have you ever had

(31:10):
an investigation where you guys had toleave? Is just is too much?
Yeah, there's never been one wherewe've had to leave. There's been a
couple. After we were done,we were just like, you know,
what, what was really going onhere? Um? Like, there was
one location we went to, umand it was actually our thumb's second investigation,

(31:33):
his first full investigation was just theteam, and of all places,
it was an old post office. But we didn't really think much of it.
We're just like, oh, cool, an old post office and darn,
I'll walk through. Um. Actually, our son and one of our
other investigators both got scratched on theneck and then there at the end of

(31:53):
the night, I was locked insideof vault in the complete darkness by myself,
and I out with three scratches onthe back of my neck. And
the people that kind of like Iguess, oversaw the investigations I gave us
like a walk through and stuff. They're like, you know, that's really
weird. That's never happened here. And I'm sitting there thinking to myself,

(32:14):
ever happened? You know, thenonly one of us is going to get
scratched. We're not going to leavewith three people leaving with the total of
five scratches. You can't say, tell me that's never happened here, right,
Yeah, yeah, that's pretty active. So when they were giving us
a walk through, um, theguy wasn't was telling most everything, and
there would be certain times he wouldgo to say something and his wife would

(32:37):
look over at him kind of shakeher head or clear like telling him,
don't don't tell them that interesting. They weren't allowed to tell us certain things
like the owners didn't want people toknow, or if like they just didn't
want to tell us. But assoon as they said a scree we all
were like in agreement, like they'rethey're hiding something and it was. It

(33:00):
was a really weird place. Sothat, to me, that's weird.
And the reason I say that isif you've got a place that you're letting
investigators come through to check out,or if you've got a place that,
yeah you do, you know, even like tours, that's kind of part
of it, like to hide certainthings or not let people know. You

(33:23):
know, you know what I mean, Oh yeah, we've got activity,
this is it goes to whatever oreighteen this and that and this could happen,
that could happen, but then youleave out some other things. You
might as well just let it allout and just get people heads up.
Or if you know, if youhaven't had anything but somebody says, oh
my gosh, I got scratch.I've got three scratches, don't go oh
well, I was never you know, like just say oh wow, yeah,

(33:45):
be transparent, just be genuine andhonest. And I don't get that.
I mean, you're you already havepeople coming in to check it out
and it's already got something, sowhy not just go with it whatever it
is? Good, bad, AndI don't I don't understand that why they
would do that. Yeah, itdoesn't make any instant me even did did
the scratches happen in real I mean, like as far as when you realized
it, was it real time ordid you just at some point go,

(34:06):
oh my gosh, I've got scratches? You know? I mean because some
people feel it at when it happens, or they realize it later on,
when it kind of you know, settles and it you know, maybe it's
kind of raised, and you know, I was just curious, how when
did you realize you got scratched?Well, the first guy, our teammate,
Mark Um, like I said,it was a daring a walk through.
He just kind of this random He'slike, man, my neck look

(34:28):
like it's burning. Let me look. And I pulled out my phone in
front on my flashlight and those scratchedlike all the way down the side of
his neck. I said, man, he got a big scratch on her
day because they did you scratch yourself? He's like no, he's think my
hands had been in my pocket thewhole time. I was like, oh,
that's weird. And probably ten minuteslater our son was like yeah,
he's like, my next is kindof burning. Two and then Mark checked

(34:50):
his neck and he's seen the scratchlike foreman on the neck. Wow,
like I said, when when ithappened to me, like I said,
I was walked and saw this walland I was doing the that's this method,
um, and it felt like myneck was burning and it started kind
of hurting. And when it startedhurting and stuff, I was like,
all right, I'm done. Andwhenever they letting me out, I told

(35:12):
him what was going on with myneck, and they pulled their phone up
and hung the light on over thestreet. Little tiny scratches on the back
of my neck, and then youknow, we had where we had.
I don't have the video anymore becauseI lost a lot of my stuff.
Um, it was my tough crash. But there was like a fifteen minute
video in me and there and Inever once touched my neck. And I
walked up with three scratches on theback of my neck. It's crazy.

(35:34):
That is many. Yeah, wehaven't had anything like that. I know
Nate has been. Uh. Bobbymacke Yeah, I every time I ask,
I keep forgetting where you've been.As Bobby Mackie's I was standing just
outside the base. So yeah, the basement so called gel cell type thing
and yeah, something pinched at theback of my leg. Yeah. I

(35:57):
don't think any of us other thanyou know that I haven't held anything touch
me or try to scrash me.And I don't think either something. No,
but you guys try to blame mefor doing it, that's right.
Yeah, I'm more of the tickler. Yeah right. Um, so let's
let's get into some of the otherinvestigations and some you know, tell our
listeners some of the places you guyshave been and any you know, certain

(36:17):
stories from that would be great.Well, we've uh, we've been fortunate
and if I guess you could callit fortunate enough. Um. Like I
said, we've done roughly about thirtyinvestigations and we've only had maybe three four
dead nights. We're like, wedidn't have nothing happened and been captured enough
and on video, nothing on audio, which is completely dead. Um.

(36:37):
So we've gotten lucky pretty much everywherewe've gotten whether we've just got audio or
if we've captured video off it's justthose personal experiences that we didn't capture.
You know, we've had those experiencespretty much everywhere we went, um,
other than that post office. Um. Some of our most active places have
been Octagon Hall in Franklin, Kentucky, um Hotel Metropolitan, and Paduca,

(37:01):
Kentucky. It was a pretty activeplace. Our most active location has been
the historic Scott County Jail and Huntsville, Tennessee. And at that place we
actually captured our most profound piece ofevidence so far to date. And that
night it was just me and Joshand of course they had, you know,

(37:22):
one of the the ladies who overseeeverything. She stayed on site because
insurance purposes all that fun stuff,So she was downstairs the entire night in
her office season investigator toast, soshe was editing video, had noise canceling
headphones on all night, didn't didn'tknow anything that was going on. And
so you know, we're going throughthis jail and we're having stuff happening pretty

(37:44):
much every room we walk into. But it's always what happened RAT when we'd
walk in before we start recording,or it happened RAT when we were walking
out after we've done stop recording.Because for switching locations, there was kind
of toying with us, like allnight long, and at the end of
the night we decided, you know, we've hit every area up. It's

(38:05):
like, let's let's finish the nighton the second floor in the kitchen,
and we're really kitchen. We havethe door closed, and Josh is saying
some stuff like, you know, you guys have been doing this stuff all
night long. Human kind of messingwith us, but we want you to
show us that you're really here.S really show us something. And about

(38:27):
that time, you know, likeour rimpud starts going off. We have
at any eat eye box that startskind of fluctuating and kind of going nuts,
and both of the time we bothhear what sounds like a female from
the hallway saying felt like it wasloud enough that we both heard it,
heard it over the devices deepen andyou know, I pick up my camera.
I'll walk over to the door andI opened the door and I'm like

(38:50):
hello, And about that time, there's a picture on the wall that comes
flying off the wall and does aflip in mid air and lands about four
feet away, And of course itscares me, and I'm dropping some choice
language because it's you know, andwhen we found me calmed down, we
review it like we're at the endto see if we even captured it,

(39:10):
because I was I wouldn't looking atmy camera when I walked out. I
was looking out in the hallway,so I didn't know if my camera was
even on, if it was pointingat the ground where I was pointing at.
And sure enough, you know,we captured the entire thing, and
you know, we went downstairs andgot Miranda, brought her upstairs and like,

(39:30):
you know, you got to watchthis, and she she couldn't figure
it out. We tried to debunkit for about twenty minutes, and that's
something we always like to do beforewe just throw it out there saying it's
paranormal. We try to make surethere's no logical excipition that we can come
up with before we throw it outthere presented to people. And all three
of us drove for twenty minutes tryto debunk it. Her and her her

(39:53):
partner came in the next morning, tried for an hour to debunket. I
couldn't figure it out, and I'dsend her the video because he's like,
you know, send me that video. I want to you know, I
want to break it down and lookat it closer and into the video.
When I walk out into the hall, you can see this why anomaly comes

(40:14):
down and goes to the right. You see a black shadow figured daughter across
the screen. And then right whenthat picture goes fine, it looks like
a shadow arm comes up from behindthe wall and the slap this picture off
the wall. All that happened withwith the devices going off and the and
the woman's saying help and all thathappened in about forty five seconds, and
we captured every bit of it.That is. Yeah, if you've got

(40:38):
that type of reaction, um,and you're able to capture it that that's
awesome with Yeah, with your equipmentyou heard it in real time, that's
freaking awesome, really freaky an awesome. Yeah were you were you? Uh?
I don't know. Uh. Well, first of all, we respect
that you try to debunk things, maybe come up with altern of reasons of

(41:00):
what happened or why it happened, you know what caused it? Uh,
A lot of them, don't youknow. And I mean I'm not gonna
dog any investigation or investigative team fornot doing that, but I think that
is going, um, you know, the extra mile, just to say
hey, before we're gonna to saythis is what it is or put it
out there. Um, I thinkthat's a legitimate way to do things as

(41:22):
far as investigating and is to justto see, Okay, could it be
this, could it be that? Not? You know, maybe it's not
the paranormal or the supernatural causing it. Um. But but after but other
than that, like were you,I don't know if I would be scared.
I don't know. I think i'dbe there all in all. I
think i'd be terrified. You thinkit'd be terrified. I don't know,

(41:42):
because that's kind of like what youwant, you know, But then again,
be careful what you ask for.I don't know. I don't know
actually happened. It's it's scared thecrap out of me. But after I
backed up, I mean, wewere both had so much adrenaline and we're
so hyped up, like the footoorwas done, like out the door,
like we were super excited. We'relike, you know, we've been doing

(42:05):
this for over a year. Wehaven't really captured anything good. Did we
just capture something? Do we justreally experience this? And and what makes
us even a little bit more interestingis earlier in the night, that same
picture has fallen off the wall.We were in the room next to the
kitchen and we captured audio of itfallen, but we didn't actually see it

(42:28):
happen. And so when we heardit fall we walk out there and we're
like, oh, that's weirdness.Picture fell off the wall, and you
know, went downstairs, got Miranda. We're like, hey, this picture
ever were falling? So she's like, now it's you know, never followed
us. We hung it up andat this time, this location had only
been up maybe a month, hadonly been open to the public for about
a month, and they had allthese pictures hanging up throughout the jail with

(42:52):
like these um like industrial strings, like bellcrow strips because it was all there's
all that's built out of concrete boxand everything, so they didn't want to
drill into the walls and stuff likethat, so they had them hanging up.
You know, they had four orfive strips on each picture. And
it took some effort to get itoff the wall because when I fell that
first time, we hung it backup and try to pull it off,
and it took a little bit ofeffort to pull it off. So you

(43:15):
know, we you know, wepoured it off and try to get at
the land where it did and everytime we would let it go, it
would just fall straight down, andwell, we just want to chalked it
up to you know, maybe somebodywas here there in the day, because
they like allow like stuff. Iwas like, maybe somebody was here there
in the day they were messing withthe picture. Maybe it wouldn't fully stuck

(43:37):
on the wall and it just slowlyfell off. So we just kind of
tossed that out right. But thenwhen we actually witnessed it happened, and
you know, and that flies throughthe air and does a flip and lands
four and a half feet away, then then we got to thinking after the
fact of well, maybe that's whathappened the first time, because it was
when it fell off the first time, it was probably about a probably landing

(43:58):
about three feet from from where itwas on the wall, and so it
was just one of those things that, you know, it was crazy when
we heard it. When we actuallyseen it happen, it's just blore months.
Well, the flip is that kindof sells it for me. It's
it's not a picture is just notgoing to do a flip. I mean,
you can fall off the wall.It can even you know, and

(44:21):
it's gonna bounce or do whatever. But if it flips that, I think
that's something that you can't explain exactly. Yeah. Uh, what other places
have you been? And give giveus some more good stories. Well,
another good place we went to.Um, we went up to the Hotel
Metropolitan and Paduka, Kentucky. UM. It's kind of like a little bed

(44:44):
and breakfast type thing, but it'salso like a hit like a living history
museum, which um it was builtback in nineteen o nine, but an
African American lady um and she builtit simply for African American people because you
know, back then everything was segregated. You know, rights couldn't stay we're
blacks, were blacks, couldn't saywe're white sports as she built it specifically
for you know, black travelers andstuff. And you know, word got

(45:07):
out about this, you know, great new hotel that just opened up.
And it's really not a hotel.It's more of a small house. I
think it has like six or sevenbedrooms upstairs, so it's more of like
a bed and breakfast really. Butback then there was probably a magnificent hotel.
Like I said, Lord got outand all these different entertainers started staying

(45:28):
there. You know, bb Kingstayed there, Ray Charles stayed there,
Tina Turners stayed there, some ofthe hallm Globetrotters has, all these well
known people from back in the daywould stay there. And so me and
my wife decided to go up aday early before the investigation because we just
kind of wanted to night ourselves. And we get there, the owner the

(45:49):
surround kind of tells us some ofthe history, tells us some of the
spooky stuff, and she gives usthe key and he lets us. He
leaves us there and we're like, okay, cool, and you know,
the bed and breakfast. He figuredsomebody would at least stay on the property
or something, but you know, nobody stayed and why the owner was giving
us per walkthrough. We walked intothe kitchen and brought When we got into

(46:10):
the kitchen, there was this dooron the side that popped open. It
was a bathroom door. And shewas like, oh, that that happens
all the time. She goes, that's why I don't like being in here
at night because all this stuff happens. I just don't like being in here
boy, you know, at nighttime. And so when she left, me
and my wife immediately went to thatdoor try to figure out why it opened.
You know, maybe it was partiallyclosed, maybe vibration calls it open.

(46:34):
We couldn't get it open, youknow, we kind of banged on
the wall, jumped up and downin front of it. We couldn't get
to open. So fast ward tothe next night we had Now he's now
a former team member, but hecame up and you know, he investigated
with us. It was just usstill be there all night long. And
at one point during we were kindof taking a break, he was walking

(46:55):
into the kitchen to get something adrink, and we heard him scream and
we came, you know, tookoff front of what did this happened?
He's like, man, that doorjust opened, the same door it opened
on him, like right when hewalked past it. And probably by an
hour later, he's back in theregetting him something to drink. Me and
my wife's in the in the roomtrying to think we were using an EMF

(47:20):
detector or something, just trying tosee if we could get any spikes,
and we hear him asking for thedoor to open, and after he asked,
he streams out again and it openedlike when he asked it to open.
Yeah, And so we spent afterthat, we probably spent twenty five
minutes, and it's on our videoon our YouTube phage. The last twenty

(47:43):
minutes of this video is just usvideo on this door trying to get it
to open, and so of coursewe weren't able to capture it, but
that was a personal experience for him. But I think this location we captured
probably our most probably it's not probably, it's the clearest EBP we've ever caught.
It was captured at this location, and its actually captured on our camporder.

(48:07):
We didn't even I think I hada reporter going, but we were
upstairs. I was in the middleof the hallway. I was set up
doing the SS method my life andTed were probably about fifteen feet behind the
asking all the questions and stuff. And at one point I feel something kind
of like poking me on the armand I call out. I said,

(48:29):
hey, something's touch on my arm, And about thirty seconds later, it
kind of starts rubbing me on thearm and I was like, hey,
it's touching me again, and thatmy whole arm, my whole left arm
gets freezing cold. And in thevideo, probably about a minute after that,
you can hear Ted say are youpop? And then you hear my

(48:51):
wife kind of whisper, who's pop? And then right at the camera it
comes through and says, that's notmy name. It as clear as the
day, like, there was nostatic in it, There was no is
this what it said? It wasclear as day, that's not my name?
And I was upset at myself afterthe factus when I was reviewing everything,

(49:12):
I forgot to turn the night visionon. So all you've seen in
this video is the red girl andexit side. So I was leading myself
up because I was like, man, who knows what we might have seen,
you know, coming out of thatworld that was touching me if all
I had the night vision on.But we kept about EVP, so that
I kind of made up for it. But it was that was a super
clear EVP. Wow. Did didum As far as your wife being the

(49:37):
sensitive, did she uh have anyinformation to give about it? Or was
that something that you know, Idon't know. I don't know when you
guys go to places, if shehas you know, it just depends on
the place, probably, But didshe have anything to add to it?
Like, yep, this is theperson or this is who it is or
what it is any anything like that. Um, you can remember, let

(49:58):
me pick up on anything in theinvestigation. In the night before, you
know, me and her, wegot to whatever room we stayed in,
and I'll up all night long.I don't even like I'll walk up.
So we started um with the doorclosed, and it just kept getting warm
and are and she kept making meget up and open the door more and
more, and finally the doors wideopen, and like I said, I'll

(50:22):
slept all night and she was tellingme about it the next morning. He
Goes says, there was multiple timesthroughout the nights, he goes, We'll
go over out the door and itjust seemed like there was somebody there staring
at us. It's like, notlike in a bad way, like creeping
on us or youthing, just peoplethey're just kind of checking us out.
I was like, who we leavepeople in our room, you know?
And she said, she goes,I felt that several times throughout the night,

(50:44):
He goes, I was waiting tolook over and actually see somebody standing
there, she goes, But Inever did, she goes. I just
since that almost the entire night watchher. Yeah, I said, this
place was, you know, builtfor African Americans, and here these two
you know why people sleeping in there? They're they're probably two people in are

(51:04):
in our building, you know,And and that it was just and we
had our probably our best SLS captureat this location too. And like I
said, the SLS gets a badrap because it gives off a lot of
false positives. But this night, when we started our investigation, it was

(51:24):
dead for probably the first forty fiveminutes to what I were like, nothing
was happening, and I'm like, man, let's just play some music.
Is play some music, and thepeople who stayed here seem probably stir up
anything. And I turned on aBB King song and my wife has the
SLS focused in the dining room, and this song comes on and these two

(51:45):
figures map in. It's an allone and like a short one. Like
it's like a man and a childstanding there and they both look way they're
dancing to the music. And Iwas like, that's and that's strange.
I was like, let's see whatwhen we turn the music off, shut
the music off, they both disappear, like rubbing the music stops. I'm

(52:06):
like, okay, that's cool.I was like, let's play another song.
Let's play a little bit more upbeatsong. I think we turned on
like our Ray Trolls or a littleRichard or something. And as soon as
the music comes on, they bothpop back up, tall and short.
When the folk looks like they're dancingmusic that looks like the little kids is
kind of breaking it down. Itlooks like the man, the taller one,
it's like tapping its foot to themusic shots off. They both disappear,

(52:30):
and I was like, I waslike, surely it's got to be
something over there. It's thinking isa person and it was where we hadn't
facing. It was just an emptydoorway. And like I said, they
both mapped in both times when musiccame on, both disappeared with the music
turned off. All right, thatwild That's just like residual. It's so

(52:55):
interesting to think about what's going onthere, you know, is it something
energy it's stuck or you know, something or a happy period or a happy
time you know for for that energyor the ghosts. I mean, it's
just you know, I want toknow what's going on there. I think
that's that's so interesting. Well,I think it might be uh it sounds
intelligent, not residual. Yeah, because it's reacting to the Wow, that's

(53:16):
a good point, and reacting tothe music right where it's it's uh intelligent
to know, Oh they're playing musicmusic and they're reacting yea. And if
they're doing yeah, like a dance. Uh is that something you they kind
of told you to do? Orwas that just an idea? You're like,
hey, I wonder if music wouldstir up something. Just like I
said, nothing was happening. Youknow, we weren't hearing any knocks,

(53:38):
we weren't hearing the full board screaking, the whispers like nothing was happening.
And I was just like, let'slet's try some music. Let's see what
happens. And once we started playingthat music, I kicked up the night.
It was. It was full onactive the rest of the night.
Man. Yeah, intelligent makes sense. And yeah, it was just an
idea. I was thinking, well, gosh, you know, didn't do
anything until you started playing music. So yeah, yeah. The next morning,

(54:04):
Um, you know, the ownercame back the next morning and we
were kind of telling her some stuffthat went on, and we told her
about the door and the kitchen againand she goes, she goes, the
only thing I can think of maybein this kitchen, she goes, she
goes years ago, she goes,Um, a man murdered his brother in
this kitchen. Nice Like, Oh, I was like, well that's kind

(54:25):
of would have been nice to knowahead of time, so you know,
maybe a figure out if that's who'sbeen just opening this door every every five
seconds, you know. But andand she told us we could. We
were welcome back anytime. So youknow, that's definitely a place we plan
on going back to at some point. I bet tell us the name of

(54:46):
it again. Please, that's allthe metropolitan and that's in uh where's it
gosh, Paduca Paduka, Kentucky.Yeah, check that out. Um I
just lost my tranth one. Ohum, real quick before we get into
more stories, tell so remind us, uh what the SLS camera is that

(55:09):
the one that is shows like theheat or is it the like the stick
figures? Is that? Is that? Is it one of the two or
is it something totally different figures?Yes? Yeah, okay, I I
knew it had to be one ofthe two. Um okay, yeah,
I had written my notes. I'mlike, it's either the heat or the
or the stick figures. Yeah,I think not too long ago we had

(55:31):
somebody on the show and they weresaying the same thing about that. We've
watched some of those videos too,and yeah, places we've we've looked at
and thought, man, it justit is. It's very creepy. I
think that's consistent though with the umsls where you know, you take I
don't know, it's it's not themost uh accurate, So your your opinion

(55:52):
on it. We we've heard before, Yeah, and and in watching videos
and all that, uh of differentinvestigations. I think everybody kind of has
that idea of what you know, you kind of take it for you know,
you might you want, you mightwant to use it, but don't
really buy it to it fully.Um, what what other places have you
been too? I want to knowabout Brushy Brushy? Oh man? Like

(56:16):
I said that that's but that nolocation is what eventually just set us off
down this path. Um, justdoing our walkthrough. So, like I
said, we didn't really know muchabout investigating the other than what we would
kind of do as teenagers or whatwe've seen on TV. So we didn't
really know what we were doing. So you know, we're getting us our

(56:37):
walk through and stuff and in frontof us, so there's actually nobody behind
us, and you know, we'rehearing people talking behind us, and we're
all turn around and they're like, yeah, that happens a lot. You
know, you hear people talking, there's nobody there. Um. So we
witnessed, you know, we hadthat happened just doing our walkthrough. And

(56:58):
we started out it was six ofus, was three guys, three girls.
We all started out together and weeventually just eventually just drifted apart.
The guys went in one direction, the girls and then another, and we
were They had one sale kind ofset up. They had like a table
on chair and they had a checkerboardin there. And I was like,
hey, let's, uh, youknow, let's move some of these checkers

(57:19):
around and then come back in alittle bit and see if they've been moved
back. And you know, wemoved some of them around and took a
picture of it, you know, the document that we moved them. We
came back probably about forty five minuteslater, and those pieces were back where
they were originally worked, and Iwas like, that's weird. I was
like, I was like, surelythe girls had come up here and you
know, to put them back.Well, literally met up with them and

(57:43):
I was like, hey, ify'all been up in these cells that has
the checkerboard and they're like, now, we've been down in this area this
whole time, or like y'all didn'tgo up there and mess with the checkerboard.
They're like, no, I swearwe know we didn't mess with it.
And so were they messed them withless? I don't know, but
you know we know that we movedthem. When we came back, they

(58:05):
were moved back back on the boards. We moved them, We moved them
off to the board and so thatwas a little one of those things we
weren't really sure about, but itwas if it actually happened, it was
really cool. Um. At onepoint me and Josh kind of separated from
the group and we were out andI think it was the d D Box
saleum, and we did have somedazzing rods. The tour guys let us

(58:30):
use some dazzing rods. We'd nevereven heard of dazzing ross until that night.
And uh, Josh has a lotof a lot of luck with him,
but he's using these guys. Herods, and every time I asked
a question, it would like theywould turn him on the way and then
they would point a pretty much pointwherever I was standing at and eventually asked

(58:50):
he, oh he does do youcan find like Damien? And then brought
after he asked that question, itsounds like something was thrown at us because
we hear something like a little soundslike a little rock just crashed behind and
I actually I didn't capture that onaudio. I think that was the only
thing I captured on audio. Thenkind of the end of the night,
like I said, Josh is stillusing the dowsing rods, and it's he's

(59:14):
just asking all these different guests andno questions, you know, yes if
it's yes, you know, openthe rods if it's no cross on them,
and we're just trying to walk intothe courtyard, and every time he
asked a question, like I justseemed to get more and more angry,
and I had no idea why I'mgetting mad. And we eventually make our
way into the gymnasium and same thing. I'm just every time you ask a

(59:37):
question, I'm just getting like supermad. And he finally asked another question
and I finally and I'll throw myhands up and I'm like, screwed this
done? And I storm across thecourtyard like mad as a hornet, storm
off, get past the rest ofour crew, get about fole feet away
from him, and that anger turnsto sadness, and I literally I break

(01:00:00):
down and I'm crying tears, andJosh was like, now, what's going
on. I was like, Ihave no idea. I was like,
I don't know what happened. Andabout thirty seconds or crying, it lifted
and I was perfectly fine, andI was using, you know, the
record of his entire time, andso a couple of days later, I'm
listening to everything and started kind ofmaking sense why I was getting these these

(01:00:23):
emotions, these emotions coming through. It seemed like he was interacting with this
black guy who was in prison simplybecause of the color of a skin.
But he didn't whatever cry he wasput in there for, like he was
completely innocent, and so I wasfeeling his anger for being put in there,

(01:00:45):
and then I eventually felt this sadnessbecause he eventually passed away there,
spent his whole life there, allbecause of the color of a skin,
and That's what I could kind ofgather from the presence he was asking the
answers he was receiving, and Iwas feeling and I've never been affected with
anything like that before, and Ihadn't been affected since up until I think

(01:01:07):
January of this year. Move wasat a location, but it was was
wild. Well, I was gonnaask you, had you not had that
type of occurrence before as far asgetting that emotional or whether you're angry or
sad. Yeah, that's not typical, right, that's what you're saying.
No, the first time of ithappened was there, and like I said,
it didn't happen again for two anda half years. It happened back

(01:01:30):
in January at a location when wewere at I didn't feel that anger,
but I felt this is sudden sadnessand it started bawling and I want to
leave the room I was in,Like I had to be Josh a bit
more or less. I had topick me up and put me out of
the room because I did not wantto leave the room. Man. Wow,
yeah, something getting a hold ofyou. Yeah yeah, speaking through

(01:01:52):
you or or putting its emotion hisemotion on you. And let me say
it's his emotion on you, andthat is that would be a little overwhelming.
I think a little scary too, just even like like not a scared,
like oh my gosh, you're frightened, but just like you said,
you're like like, Josh is going, what's wrong, dude, Why why
are you acting like this? Andyou're like, I have no idea.

(01:02:14):
That would be a little a littlebit unnerving, overwhelming, especially when you
don't usually react that way. Whenyou go to locations and all of a
sudden you're like ticked off one minuteand then the next you're sad. That's
that's kind of that's a lot becomelike a condo too. You know.
We've talked about that for people, like having those responses to the spiritual energy.

(01:02:34):
So yeah, I've never had thatbefore either, So I think that
that would be interesting. And justthink if you were by yourself and you're
experiencing that, at least you hadyour your friend to kind of grab you
and yeah, I kind of checkall, yeah, I pull you out
a bit exactly, and then likewhat's going on, you know, help
you through it instead of just youknow, because you know, our friend
Aaron, she goes on a lotof investigations by herself to these places,

(01:02:57):
and we're like, how do youdo that? You know, Like and
she she goes to a lot ofintense places, you know, and uh,
yeah, I'm just glad you hadyour your buddy with you. It's
definitely intense, no doubt. Um, Sean, you got I know you've
got something I wanted to know aboutit. Did you you captured a lady
in white? Did you have afull body apparition that I had heard about?

(01:03:21):
I didn't capture anything. This isyears ago before I ever had a
team. In this house we livedin, Um this is after my first
marriage and that I ended up movingback in with my mom for a little
bit and we all lived in thishouse. It was you know, my
mom, my stepdad, myself,my two younger stepbrothers, my sister,

(01:03:42):
her husband. There was like nineor two I was living in this house,
right, and like just all thiscrazy stuff. What would go on
there? Like nothing to the pointlike oh my god, we got to
move. Just stuff that would needto kind of scratching your head and trying
to figure out what it was.And like I said, this was before
I ever had my team, andall this other stuff. But there was
one night we always when we wentto leave, we'd always got through the

(01:04:05):
basement door because the basement they broughtto the driveway, so we always just
left through the basement. So I'mgoing to leave one night, It's like
nine thirty at night, and Igo to walk out the door, and
I was just happened to look upand I see this woman out in the
yard, just standing there, andyou know, she's like, I don't
know if she was just in anightgown or she was in a dress,

(01:04:26):
but it was she was in allwhite and she had like long white hair,
and I'm like, like, whois that? And you know,
I stood there and probably stare atus. We're probably a good ten or
fifteen seconds just trying to figure outwho's in our yard. And from a
in the split second that the screendoor passes my eyes when I'm opening the
screen door, she's gone, I'mlike, what in the world. And

(01:04:50):
the way this house is set up, there's from the driveway, there's some
stairs that go up the little smallhill to our front, to the front
yard and leads around to the frontdoor. My two brothers was out there
sitting on the steps and I waslike, hey, man, I was
like, who was just in theyard? I was like, it was
Brittany, just out here, mysister. They're like, now, there's
nobody out here. We've been sittingout here for about forty five minutes.

(01:05:11):
It's the only been us. Iwas like, man, I was think,
I know, I've just seen thiswoman in the yard, Like,
man, there's nobody out here. And they're like, where was he at?
And was he was over by theblack tree. There was a tree
in the yard that was a bigchunk of it. A big portion of
it was charred, like I don'tknow if it was struck by lightning or
if somebody said fire to it orwhat, but it was a big,

(01:05:32):
big took part of it. Iwas charred black. I was like,
then she was over by the blacktree. And they're like, how man,
we haven't seen nobody out here untila couple of nights later. Walking
out of the same door, I'mwalking the girl, but I was dating
at the time. I was walkingher out to a car and she just
stops before she ever opens the door. I'm like, what are you doing?

(01:05:55):
She's not saying nothing. I'm like, hey, I think, what's
going on, and she finally kindof snapped out. It was what's what
are you doing? She's like, there's a woman in the arts. Where
are you meaning? She goes, there's a woman in your part right now?
Like, well, what does she? You know? What does she
look like? Again? She does. She described the exact same thing and
in the exact same location, andI hadn't told her about it because I

(01:06:18):
didn't want her to freak out andnot come back over. And I was
like, you know, and Ididn't want to tell you this, but
I'd seem the exact same thing you'redescribing two nights ago, and her eyes
gotten really big if she's like, are you kidding? I was like no,
I was like, as like asked, you know, Peyton and pressed
and they were out here, andof course she ran to her car and

(01:06:38):
they all think she ever came backat night after that, But yeah,
it was that place was wild.Yeah, I don't blame her, I
guess I think it'd be interesting.Yeah, that'd be cool. Do you
have any idea who it could be? Like, I mean, like,
what did you kind of delve intothe history of the house or the location
and say, oh, it couldbe this or did you ask any neighbors

(01:07:00):
if they've seen anything. There wasn'treally any neighbors. Like the closestness was
probably half a mile down the road. But like I said, back then,
I didn't really know much about researchin places like this because I didn't
really know that was a I mean, I knew about research, but I

(01:07:21):
didn't know how to go about researchin places like that. So I just
kind of talked it up. Thehouse was haunted. But we do know
that there was two headstones in theside yard, and you could make out
one of the names. It waslike clear as day. It was I
remember what his name was now,but he was a lieutenant or something,

(01:07:44):
and it said he had died inlike the late eighteen hundreds. I'm assuming
he was like probably a Civil Warsoldier, is what I would guess.
And there was a little smaller headstonebeside it. I said baby, and
then like a name underneath that.So we're assuming that I was an infant
or a child. And what's crazyabout that is, like I said,
my sister lived there at the timetoo, and so my my nephew was

(01:08:06):
living there and at the time hewas about three, three, maybe four
years old, and there was onenice uh she'd always have to sleep lay
in bed with until he fell ase because he was scared to seat by
himself. And so I'm in theliving room watching TV and she's texting me,
and she goes, Braden's in heretalking to the closet door, like

(01:08:27):
the closet doors old. She's like, he's in here talking to the closet.
He's talking about this. He goes, he's in there just having a
fullblawn conversation. And she goes,I asked him who he was talking to,
and he goes, I'm talking tothe man. She was, what
man? He goes, the manhe's in there, he's covered in blood.
Wow, Well, this kid's threefour years old. He's not gonna

(01:08:47):
like just randomly think of something likethat. So a little while later,
like a few days later, mysister was telling me her and my mom
was sitting at the kitchen table. Now listen to the middle of the day.
Mnephew comes walking through, opens theback door, opened the screen door,
says, hey, y'all, comeon in, closing the doors,

(01:09:08):
walks back to the back rooms, comes back out twenty minutes later, opens
the doors and said I'll see youguys tomorrow. Of course they ask,
you know, who are you talkingto, and he goes, I'm talking
to the soldier man and his littleboy, and I'm on, holy crap.
I was like, the there's asoldier and a little boy buried it

(01:09:29):
or a little kid buried on theside yard. Yeah, so that,
like I said, that place isjust that's the only people only history I
knew about it. It was thosetwo people buried there. And I tried
to research in the guy's name andI could never find anything. But back
then I wasn't very good at research. So Damian, I have to tell
you about the lady in white orcream that you're talking about. My wife

(01:09:51):
my him Back in March. Mydad passed away in the middle of the
month and he had in stage Alzheimer's, and my wife and I before we
put him on hospice, we wereup at my mom's is in about twenty
minutes away from our house, andwe were coming back from their house and
my wife was driving. It wasin my car, and we were kind

(01:10:11):
of going down the country roads andshe and I were talking and we went
around this curve. It was nota real well little road or you know,
back road, and she freaked outbecause she's like, oh, my
gosh, who's who's at walking? And I was like, what are you
talking about. I don't see anybody. And she's trying to tell me that
there was some woman in white ora white dress walking along the road that
she almost hit. And I waslike, I did not see anything,

(01:10:33):
honey, And I looked back andI was trying. I told her,
I'm like, well, let's goback and find her. And she said,
like the hair on the back ofher neck was standing up. She's
like, I'm not going back.So she's trying to figure out who would
be walking and I was like, honey, you just saw a lady in
white, and she goes, actuallyit was like a cream color. And
so we kind of talked about ita little bit. And it's funny because
during that time, you know, with my dad, you know, getting
ready to pass everything, she wastalking about how she missed her grandmother who

(01:10:56):
had been dead for quite a whileand I never got to meet her,
and she said, I always wantedmy mom or my grandmother to come back
to me, and so I gotto thinking. By the next day I
told her, I said maybe thatwas your grandma. You know, how
do you know that when your grandmatrying to send you a sign that you
were just talking about. And she'slike, you know, maybe that was
my grandma. Well, a coupledays later, maybe later in the week
and her we sat down and haddinner with her parents, and I was

(01:11:18):
telling this story. I said, did you tell your your parents about seeing
your grandma? And they were like, what's this you know? And so
we told that whole thing, andthen she corrected me, saying what it
was like a cream colored dress. And my wife's mother said, Jenna,
don't you remember what you buried yourWe buried your grandmother in It was a

(01:11:38):
cream nightgown. It was her favoritenightgown. She goes, that was your
grandmother and it was She was like, oh my gosh, we did her.
Her grandfather wanted to bury in herlike a proper dress, and my
and my wife at the time saidno, she's going to be comfortable in
her cream nightgown. And she,my wife said, I had forgotten it
completely about that. She's like,oh my god, that was grandma.
So she had this thing. Ididn't see it. I was like,

(01:11:59):
you think that we'd see somebody walkingalong, but it freaked her out and
it just seemed like it was justmeant for her, you know, right,
that's crazy and and something else thatmay I don't know if it's connected
or not to the to the Ladyin White. Very first experience I remember
as a young kid. I wasprobably three years old, and I'd woken

(01:12:26):
up in the middle of the night. I was sleeping on the couch this
night for whatever reason, and Iremember waking up and of course it's dark
in the living room, you know, maybe some light shouting out through the
window or whatever. But I'll wakeup, and they all all went back
and looking at wake up at faceup at the ceiling, and there's like
but I've always described it as likea witch figure floating above me, Like

(01:12:48):
not like your typical witch with thepointy black hat. But that's just what
it reminded me of, was awitch. And you know, of course,
being three years old, it spookedme and I pulled the covers up
over my head and when I wadthem back down, she was still just
kind of floating there, and theybrought them up again, and when I
pulled them down the second time, she had disappeared, and of course,

(01:13:10):
you know, my parents told meI was just having a bad dream.
This or bad And the very firstinterview I did probably started our team back
in like January of twenty twenty one. I was telling that story about the
woman floating above me, and Itold her about the woman I've seen in
white and this one of the hosts. She was like, you know what

(01:13:30):
if that's the same person and they'rejust kind of following you around Because at
the house that I've seen the womanin, there were several times I heard
a female whispered with my name inmy air, like I would be about
almost asleep and it was just Iwould have like earbugs in and I was
here over my music, like somebodywas like a right in my hair,
whispering my name, and it wasthat of a female. And she's like,

(01:13:55):
you know what if the two areconnected somehow, Like I never really
put two and two together. Ithink it is kind of weird to think
about. So it's possible for surethat I may never know, but it's
always it's always stuck with me.And if that was a dream, it
was the most vivid dream I've everhad, because I remembered that for thirty

(01:14:15):
eight or thirty five years now.I think I think there is something to
it. Sorry, I asked myphone calendar thing. Yeah, that that's
I think I damnan, I thinkthere is something to that. I mean,
yeah, you you may never know, but I mean to say it
there isn't so you can't say that. So I as want to say,

(01:14:39):
yeah, it's connected. I don'tknow. You've sold us, Yeah,
you've sold us. I mean,God, that's a lot there, that's
a great story. Um what realquick? Um? Like the lady in
white though, did could you tellyou said white hair? Was it?
Like are you saying like white hairmeaning like an older old lady white hair?
Or you just like a kind ofglowy white ghost pair you know.

(01:15:02):
I'm just trying to figure out maybeage or it was white hair. It
was like white string, you likelike she had just got out of the
shower. But I could tell itwas a younger woman, Okay, but
I really couldn't make out facebook pature, but I could tell if she didn't
like have any wrinkles or anything likethat, like if he looked it even

(01:15:24):
felt like a younger woman. Yeahright, So yeah, well, I
don't know if she was connected tothat tree, because you know that it
looks like that tree had been burnt, and I just I never could figure
it out. And I've always wantedto go back to that house and just
knock on the door and just talkto the people that live there. Now,

(01:15:45):
yeah, they would probably look atme like I'm crazy, and you
could try it. I mean allthey could say is nope, no,
thank you, but maybe they will. You never know, some people might
be open to that. Yeah, you know, I get it though,
Yeah you might. You know, you're like, oh boy, you don't
want to have somebody I think you'recrazy, But you know what, who
cares? If you know? Maybethey do, maybe they don't. So

(01:16:09):
you'll never know until you try oneway to get validation, right, That's
right. That would be interesting yetto know. Yeah, have you seen
anything? We're gonna wrap up herein a few minutes. I have one
question. I know Sean has one, and then we'll we'll finish up.
But I want to know what isyour favorite horror movie? What is your
favorite scary movie? If you haveone, My favorite scary movie, my

(01:16:32):
favorite is horror movie of all timeis Namron in Street Part three. Oh
that's a good one. Now,what is it about part three? Because
I haven't really seen any of them. I've seen parts of the first one,
but I've not seen anything past that. So what is it about part
three that is your that makes ityour favorite? You know, I really
don't know. It was just becauseI loved all of them, with the

(01:16:55):
exceptional Part two. I never reallycared much for Part two, but it
was just that one just always stuckout to me, like I felt like
the story was at I guess alittle bit more creepy because they're like in
a in a hospital, and Idon't know, it just felt more creepy
than the other ones. And ofcourse after the third one, they started
getting kind of more funny and morepunch lines and stuff, So that one

(01:17:17):
was like the last one. Youknow, I still had like its little
funny lines, but they weren't meantto be funny. Right after that they
kind of get they started adding likemore calmly stuff to it. But you
know, that one's always been myfavorite. You know, I love horror
movies. I've got Bason Freddie andghost Stays tattooed on my arm, So
I'm it's been a big and sookay. So yeah, I thought three

(01:17:42):
was the dream Warning Zone. AndI was wondering because I love that one,
because I love the docking song.Yeah, I love the video.
I'd watch it over and over onMTV's Top twenty. That was the summer
of it. Yeah. Song wasactually playing on my playlift on the way
home today. Yeah, yeah,I love I love that, uh that

(01:18:04):
as well, And I remember thatvideo. Um, and I heard Actually,
what's funny. As I heard thesong, I hadn't heard it in
thirty some years, and I heardit about well, let's see, it
was before vacation and those two weeksago, so yeah, from maybe about
a month ago, and I waslike, oh my gosh, it take
me back to my e I thinksophomore year in high school. So that's
a great song. Yeah U eightyseven. Yeah, that was my sophomore

(01:18:25):
year. That's right, very cool. Yeah. I was just curious because
I I and I've heard that aboutThe Frint or The Nightmare on Elm Street
movies that as they go, themore they they're the ones that they've made,
the later ones that's been more comedy, and a lot of people that
like the first two or three theykind of bail on the on the later

(01:18:45):
ones as far as youven mentioning them, because they're like, well, they're
they turned into comedies, not horrormovies. So I yeah, that's why
I've heard, but I haven't seenhim. So, um you real quick,
you said you had what tattoos?Again? You said, yeah,
you had what characters? We've gotFreddy I'm sending, and I've got a
ghost face and I've got my Ghostbustertattoos as well. Gotcha, gotcha.

(01:19:06):
I've got Michael Myers. He's that'smy The original Halloween's my favorite movie,
horror movie of all time, andof course Michael's my favorite horror character.
And I've got him on my leftshoulder. Um. I'm working on my
tattoo artist that's done all twenty five. Um. She is so booked up
and I'm like, man, Ican't wait till November. So I've been

(01:19:26):
trying to reach out to other tattooartists and it's being a little more difficult
than I expected. But regardless whoeverdoes them, I want to get.
As far as horror characters, Istill want to get. I'm gonna get
penny Wise and I want to getthe Creeper from Jeepers Creepers, So yeah,
so I've had I want them forIt's like I want to get leather

(01:19:47):
Face, but also want to getMichael Myers. Yeah, I want to
get the Creeper. I keep Ikeep telling my wife I'm gonna get Annabelle
because all the kids are scared ofAnnabelle. So those are great movies.
By the way, my wife andI love those Annabell movies and they are
creepy. Sean, go ahead andask your question. Yeah, I want
to know about your podcast. Iknow it's called Life Beyond six Feet and

(01:20:11):
I know you're the co host. It's been three three year in the third
season, and we just just droppedepisode one of season three on Sunday.
Congratulations. And I never even thoughtabout podcasting, like and I never even
listened to a podcast up until youknow, we were Me and Josh was
interviewed for our first one, likeI said back in twenty twenty one,

(01:20:34):
and after that podcast, I wasthinking, it will be something kind of
cool to do just to kind ofkill some time, like on our days
off and stuff, you know, like I don't know what we would do.
What we talked about who we talkto. It was like, but
it's gonna be something cool to do, and he say, yeah, we
should do that, and that waskind of it. We just kind of
talked about it for a second. That was it. And then you know,
we did our second interview on apodcast about nine months later, actually

(01:20:59):
the next day after be captured andthe picture Fune flying off the wall,
so we had a crazy story totail and after that, I was like,
man, I was like, Ireally want to do a podcast.
I was like, you know, just interviewing for them with fun. I
was like, so actually be inthe interview. I think. I was
thinking that'd be really cool. AndI said we just kept talking about it
and talking about it and talking aboutit, and I told you, I

(01:21:21):
was like, man, if weever start this, it's like I have
a name. And the name camefrom when we actually first started our team.
It was I had this weird ideathat I wanted the team to have
like a tagline, and so I'vehad all the team members come up with
the tagline and I was going toput it out on Facebook and I was

(01:21:42):
going to let people vote on whatthey liked the best, and life beyond
six feet was one of them, and that was actually the one that won.
But we never used it for anything. But I told Josh, I
think we have to use this forsomething at some point. I think it's
just it's too cool. And Iwas like, man, I was like,
that's a perfect name from the podcast. And got to talking about it
again and talk to a few differentpeople that host podcasts seeing kind of how

(01:22:08):
they do theirs, and and thesecond podcast we did, and you know,
I reached out to him me andhim was pretty good a friends' housing.
Now, how did you start doingyears? And he's like, man,
I used to do it by Zoom. He think that was the easiest
way I found. And you know, I've done different stuff now, but
that's why I started out. Iwas like, well, I'll try that,
And so I downloaded Zoom on mylaptop, you know, signed up

(01:22:30):
for it. And that guy thattold me that he was actually my very
first guest. Like it was aspur the moment thing, like I recorded
it and I'll put it out likea week later, and all I do,
I don't edit anything else. Solike whatever we talk about, if
we get off subject, if there'sa blooper, and that all stays in.
All I do is saw on themusic. And like I said,

(01:22:53):
we just dropped episode one of seasonthree. You know, I've had on
I've had multiple guests on from fromlike TV shows and stuff I have.
I've had local investigators on from youknow here right in Middle Tennessee. I've
had them. I've had investigators fromMichigan, from Florida, from you know,

(01:23:14):
all over. I've had different podcasterson. I've had UM, I
know you guys know where Christen Amandaof The Paranormal Girl. Oh yeah,
yeah. I've had Jordan Klein fromFireside Paranormal Podcasts on UM. And they
were both on my season two finale. I do like on each finale of
the seasons, like each last episodeof each season, I do like a
paranormal round table and I'll bring themon four past guests and I just do

(01:23:39):
like a kind of debate type thing, can get everybody's like opinions on these
different things. And they were onmy season two finale. And you know,
it's been been really fun so well, I just followed today, so
I'm excited to listen. I think, and I like the way you haven't
homage. It looks like to Keithas well with the police background. I
like that, yeah, right, like and because because everybody you know that

(01:24:04):
knows about the team, they kindof know the backstory of the team.
And I've reached out this guy I'veknown for a very long time. He
used to actually date my ex stepsister, if that makes sense, and
he's like a real good artist, and I reached out to him about designing
the podcast logo and he was like, man, He's like, I don't
think I could do it. Justiceis like, but let me give you

(01:24:26):
somebody who I think could do reallygood. And I reached out to her,
and you know, I kind ofgave her some cemental about the team
and the name of the podcast, and that's what she came up with,
and she was like, is thatgood? And I was against freaking awesome,
you know. So it's funny howthanks just sort of happened in a
certain certain way and it ends upbeing perfect. Yeah. I'm looking at

(01:24:50):
right now and it's awesome looking. It's very cool. I love the other
red and blue lights and you've gotthe the image in the middle, very
very u I don't just yeah, colorful, bit creepy at the same time,
and now that we know and Ifollowed your show story right yeah yeah,
yeah, and knowing why you havethat as uh yeah, it's pretty
cool, very nice of you.Um yeah, we'll I'll definitely check out

(01:25:14):

to work, because I listen topodcast all day long. Um, I

(01:25:38):
work, you know, my fulltime job during the day, throw my
AirPods in and then I own acleaning of business, and so nights and
weekends, that's pretty much what Ido while I'm working is listen to podcasts.
So it's nice to have a newone. And then obviously you know,
you're a friend of the show now, so we'll always we'll always show
support to our our friends. WellI'm our show too, so um,

doing the plays, if we're goingto be going to and if we capture
something really good, I'll kind ofrelease like a little snippet and then I'll
eventually release like a full video onour YouTube. So all of our content

(01:26:42):
we put out actually on our YouTube, we don't pull. I've putting out
full content on our social so Iwant to kind of draw everybody to the
YouTube page. And so that's whereall of our content is. And Life
beyond six feet same thing. Orwe're on all social media. We actually
have the YouTube channel. Um,like I said, I'll record via zoom,

(01:27:02):

being on the property and who wasit, he said, of siblings or
somebody they didn't see it, Yeah, the apparition and he's like what I
