(00:28):
Welcome everyone to Life Beyond six feets. We are your host, Damian Christy
from our KB Paranormal She's Kelly Shaperfrom K two Paranormal Research. Kelly,
welcome back again. Yeah you keepreturning, like like I'm shocked you return.
I know I keep coming back, right, So all right, Well,
(00:50):
this week we have a very specialguest. I'm very excited about this
episode we have with you, soI'm gonna keep up. We have missed
Danny Marie this week and get hauntedDanny. Oh, we got the giggles.
But Danny, welcome to Life Beyondsix feet. Thank you for having
(01:11):
me. This is so fun.I love it is. We we always
have fun. You should see usinvestigating together. It's a riot, it
is, you know what, becauselike having fun is the biggest part.
I think, like having that goodenergy, right, it's the biggest part.
It's so much fun. We havea blast. It is. You
(01:32):
gotta take it serious, but youalso gotta have your fun too, where
it's just gonna be absolutely boring whennothing's going on. So yeah, yeah,
so obviously you know, my wholegig when we're out investigating is to
make him scream. It's at leastonce you ever get him to do like
the Scooby Doo like jilt, likeyou get scaredly tries to run every time.
(01:55):
And and what's funny about that is, like Nanny, nine percent of
the time when I get scared andscream him, it's something non paranormal.
It's always how it is, right, how many times I have scared my
teammate, my teammate Rob, Idon't even mean to. I'll I'll try
not to interrupt him because he's talkingto guests or something, and I'll just
be like just off of his peripheralso you can't see me, and he'll
turn around jump scares. Every singletime, the foeman is going to have
(02:17):
a heart attack because of me.One that's good stuff. Yeah, the
last one I was, I wasjust standing there and Damien was kind of
walking backwards or something like that.He turned around and there I was Snate
scream well to me to be there. So yeah, all right, yeah,
(02:38):
so obviously this shows about the paranormal. Danny's a paranormal investigator. So
Danny kind of tell us how yougot on this paranormal journey, kind of
start start us off from the beginning, start us from the beginning. Well,
honestly, a lot of the stuffI'm gonna sound real generic, and
I'm trying not to, but Ifeel like a lot of people have the
same thing. I grew up ina else, you know, very weird.
(03:02):
Yeah everyone, right, I feellike everybody I running. Oh yeah,
I grew up in a haunted house. Right. I think it's a
pretty recouisite for being a paranormal investigator. You have to grow up in a
haunted house, at least one ofthem. Right, It's marks the questions
of what the you know, whatthe f is going on here? How
no around I'd say, I don'teven remember like the actual age anymore,
(03:23):
probably like seven or eight. Hadsome really off the wall stuff happened in
the house that I was growing up. I had been pulled out of my
bed by an unseen power and thewhere like I had a handprint that like
you know, when you got tograb somebody and like it kind of leaves
the mark work. Ye lasted prettylong. It was like a real large
hand I was the only one inthe room. I was so scared to
(03:46):
end up sleeping on my parents' floorfor like a whole week. Wouldn't even
tell them why I was sleeping ontheir floor. Wow purified. So about
like the last day I decided Iwas going to stay in their room,
I for some reason couldn't sleep.Looked over to their closet. They had
just like really grand closet and itlooked like an old man and a German
shepherd walked out of the closet andthen just vanished. I was like,
(04:09):
that's it. I'm not asleeping hereeither. So all these things would happen.
There was like this little ghost catthat you would see like trying like
it would. It would literally justtrot down the basement stairs and then disappear
like you would never see it anywhereelse in the house. It was so
bizarre. But yeah, disembodied voiceswe'd have, we'd have this smell and
(04:30):
it just smelt like someone who hadn'tshowered for a very long time, shirt
and muck. But you could actuallylike follow this smell, like you would
follow it from room to room likeit was just doing its own thing.
So I mean, really old farmhouse. The property's pre revolutionary, so like
it could just be like that's Idon't know, old farmer, like you
know back in the day you didn'tbathe anybody. It could have been anything,
(04:53):
anybody anything. Yeah. So yeah, like having all these experiences,
it always left me. By thistime, I was a teenager, I'm
like, what the f is goingon here? Like this isn't normal?
Started going to grade school telling myexperiences. Everyone's looking at me like what
is what's wrong? Or her?You know what I mean? So I
just I decided that I wanted toget answers. Obviously, when you're like
(05:15):
eighteen nineteen, no one's going totake you seriously when you want to try
to get into a paranormal team, right, So kind of like okay whatever.
TAPS was like a big thing backthen. So I was watching all
the TAP shows and everything and justdecided, you know what effort, I'm
going to try to make my ownteam. Why do I got to join
somebody else's. I didn't realize howhard that could be, especially when you
(05:38):
don't know you know what I mean, Like you don't know what you're doing.
So it's like yeah, but Iended up somehow deciding to do this
whole I'm gonna find myself and myparanormal journey, and marched my butt down
to Gettysburg buy myself with no cluewhat to do, right, ended up
finding this amazing couple who kind oftook me under their wing. They helped
(05:59):
me network, they got me introducedto a whole slew of people, and
I just was doing my own thing. Like I still couldn't get into a
group. Everyone's like, well,we want someone with experience or that can
do this or that. I'm nota psychic medium, I'm not a demon.
I'm not you know, I'm notspecialized. I'm a normal investigator.
I love using my fills to investigateand I use equipment, but I would
(06:21):
never claim to be anything beyond that, you know what I mean. Right,
So ended up just I found acouple of friends and we decided to
go to just like do some randomparanormal journeying on our own. And this
one location out in New York.Lady was real sweet. We were talking
to her, I was telling herwhere I was from, and she's like,
you know what, there's this groupout there that's really close to where
(06:43):
you live. You should really checkthem out. And ended up being a
own you can see my taps.Ended up being get haunted right, Oh
my, oh my, gosh, this is great someone in the local area
that kind of has the exact samecore values that I had, Like I
wanted to be able to help people, wanted to be able to have someone
else be able to have a betterexperience than I did trying to get into
all this, you know what Imean, And that's what they're all about.
(07:05):
So I called him up and Rob'sa co owner and somehow talked him
into doing an investigation with me inGettysburg. Never met me before, right,
He's like, yeah, sure, where are we going? He booked
his room, I booked my room, my friend booked their rooms. We
had the best time. It waslike we always known each other. Like
it was just one of those youknow, like when it's meant to be
(07:26):
kind of a situation, it's likeDamien and I. It's it's exactly like
us. Yeah, it's just likethat family vibe instantly, And I was
like, okay, so he's myHe's my weird little brother. I keep
telling everybody, yeah see, andI'm like Rob's a weird little sister.
But yeah, Like I ended uptagging along because screaming I should tell you
(07:47):
my little sister who But yeah,so I just started tagging along with them
and eventually somehow talked my way intobeing a gene culture manager and how I
got where I'm at today. Ilove it. Well, there's one thing
that I found out about you whenI was researching you is we use the
(08:09):
same Tarot deck. Oh do wereally? Yeah? But do you the
crow deck? I love the cI love the crowd. Do you do
the first deck or the second deck? I think it's the first deck.
Where is it like floating around heresomething? I think it's the first one.
Okay, yeah, that's the oneI used too. Yeah. They're
just they're real easy to read.It kind of just feel like you find
(08:31):
Yeah, they just kind of they'rethey're very communicative. They're very Yeah,
it's like, oh yeah, it'sI get so exciting because I have like
a little array of like the Ihave like twelve decks and there's like three
or four of the bicycle through likethey're the only one and it really connect
with you know. Yeah. Ipicked up a few extra decks and I
actually used my Witch deck the otherday and the crow deck got jealous out
(08:54):
a bunch of bullshit. Nice,it's weird. It have personalities it's the
Yeah, I love it, Ireally do, and even to like,
depending on what question I want answeredor like what mood I'm in, it's
certain decks worked better than others. It's right. And that's the way I
went for the Witch deck. Iwanted something a little bit different than my
Crow deck. And they got jealous. They're like, no, you're mine,
(09:18):
You're hard. I've had that doneonce. Oh I gotta do you.
I've had that done. Have younot sorry that we'll have to I've
had it done once. And Ithink the woman was full of it because
she told me my wife, mybest friend, and our two sons pretty
(09:41):
much the exact same thing. AndI'm like, reponse, whatever it was
pretty much it was pretty much theexact same things. He just worded it
differently. I was like, oh, come on. I was like,
I just that's just bizarre. Soand like, it's because every card,
even if you pull the same cardfor each person, it could mean like
(10:03):
there's three people and you pull itthree times, it could mean three different
things. Yes, yeah, becauseit relates to all the other cards that
are pulled too, which can't beidentical for everybody. If they were,
I'd be like my deck's broken.I need it. Yeah, now now
that I'm actually thinking about it.She did say that at some points,
(10:24):
in some kind of way, Iwould be making money off the paranormal.
And look what we just started.I know, I know, so maybe
you scary as hell? It iswe it is we just started. Do
you hear what we did? Didyou see what we did? We would
(10:45):
you do? We picked up ourfirst property, our first location. Did
you really? Yeah? They askedus. Damien went there first to check
it out, and he called meup and he says, they want to
do events. I don't do events. You got to go out there.
And so I went out there andI said, you got to come with
me. I can't do this journeyby myself. You're gonna have to come
(11:05):
with me. So we both wentback and investigated again, my first time,
his second time, which was unreal. It took me two weeks to
stop vibrating from that experience. Areyou kidding me? No? I'm not.
It is. It has. Ithas an intelligent haunting, it has
(11:26):
a residual haunting, it has anelemental haunting. And we're looking at a
native spirit haunting. Oh all atone location, No, wonder I've vibrated
for two weeks. Damn. Ihad that weird, like like the internal
buzzing. Right, yeah, it'sthe internal buzz I had that. We
(11:46):
were at the Conjuring House not thatlong ago. It was my first time
at the Conjuring House and oh mygod. I messaged Sarah's our other co
owner. I messaged her. I'mlike, hey, just so so my
nose in case something stupid happens here, I'm buzzing. I can't figure out
why I was. I've not doneit but a few times, and now
I know why it is. It'sbecause it's so active that it just the
(12:09):
energy in there just makes you buzz. Oh you know what, Well,
yeah, you figure all the differentand it's not just one thing. It's
no, like you said, elementaltoo right, elemental too. Yeah,
that's to me, I feel likethat's a whole other level, because that's
that's a whole other level that I'mnot familiar with, I think in my
opinion, and I don't. I'mno expert on anything. I'll just energy
(12:31):
right, like that was right?Very ancient definitely not human so h but
not very very ancient. Necessarily bad. After I said that. I'm like,
well, people are going to takethat I'm saying it's bad. No
it's not. No, no,it's not it. It's an indication of
what we're picking up as a humanbeing, as our body. Our body
is the biggest antanna out there, right, So my favorite piece of equipment
(12:54):
is just being able to buy thingsup. Yep, yep. Yeah,
no, that's one thing. Areyou enjoying the conversation that we're having day
kind of like you've been blocked out. It's all good, it's all good.
So what did you What did youthink about the old hospital on College
(13:16):
Show? I love that building. She is alive, she is her own
thing. I absolutely love her.It was It's really cool because on top
of the hill, right, youdrive up and you're just I was just
awe struck. This is the biggestlocation for who. I've been investigating for
about sixteen years now, and thiswas to date the biggest location I had
(13:37):
ever been at. So driving upso I was just all inspired. It
was kind of a little star struckat the aspect of getting into you know
what I mean, I was justlike I do I was like, I
wait to get into We had beenthere and it wasn't a normal investigation for
us being there. When I wentanyway, my team had gone out and
done a normal event there, andthen we were doing Girls Versus Boys,
(14:01):
the Paranormal Challenge, and like therewas this whole thing with Haunted Road Trip.
We got all these cameras set upand it was like the girls versus
the boys, and we had challengesand the girls ended up winning because it's
a little trophy with a skull. It was. It was so fun.
But we got that setting up.Oh, it was. We're trying to
(14:22):
I would hope eventually it's we keeptalking about it. We need to reset
it up. It just takes alot of planning. We want to get
like other teams involved with something likethat fun. But yeah, just like
setting up the cameras and like tryingto get pictures to like throw in the
in between times and stuff. Atone point, I was in there by
myself, and I'm just like,Okay, I'm like not like scared,
(14:43):
but I'm like, wow, totallyknow I'm the only living being in this
building, but I'm not alone inthis building. It was you'd hear someone
talking and you'd go like, oh, it's one of my team members and
you go to talk to them, nobody where you heard the voice come from
so clear that clear of direct directforce. There'd be someone down the hall.
(15:03):
I go down the hall and there'sno one there. Or I would
think that I saw one of mycrew turn into a room and I'd be
like going to like asking if theycan check a camera or something, and
I'm like, Okay, then wouldid I just see turned the corner,
because I definitely saw something. Yeah, Wow, Yeah, And Charlie Antania
the owners there, there's the sweetestpeople. Oh my goodness, I freaking
(15:26):
love them, I do. They'sso nice. Yeah. We interviewed Tanyan
instantly that that location went to thetop of the list for me, right
what she described happening to her,Yeah, and then there I don't I'm
probably gonna misspeak here. I don'tif it's called the Carot House whatever.
The house. There's two houses thatare connected to the trapperty like one's right
(15:48):
next to it, and then there'sone like you go down the stairs.
It's so it's kind of fun, like you get down these stairs and then
there's like another house. Right.Part of the part of the team that
I was with. We stayed atthe one that's right next to the hospital.
Oh oh, they're haunted one ofus. There were three of us
staying at the top, and atone point I was the only one there
(16:11):
and I thought one of I thoughtthat one of the guys that I was,
you know, one of the peopleI was staying with. I thought
they walked back in. So Iwent to go asking them, Hey,
is everything okay with the other person, because they were helping them get their
baggages out of the baggages bags outof the car. No one was there.
People. We were hearing knocking,we were hearing it just really unexplainable.
(16:32):
Could not figure out where some ofthis stuff is like happening or Yeah,
I don't know. Just that thingactive and I love it and I
would recommend every single person to gocheck that place out. Okay, have
you I'm sorry, I don't knowwhat you have you been there? No,
it's now on top of my list. Yeah, that's that's in a
way trip. Yeah, and it'sso worth it though, it really is.
(16:56):
It's going to get Damien to beable to do road trips. Though.
You gotta get some road trips in. Man. It's hard with my
with my job, so I knowI have to have. You're gonna get
your vacation next year. They y'allhave like you got. There's nothing like
a terra normal road trip, youknow what I mean? Like, well,
I know, yeah, I'm doingthem on a regular basis these days.
(17:22):
Yeah, it's nice to stay ina separate hotel all the time,
Like, yeah, there's there's afun aspect, but then it gets really
draining, like I just want myown bed. Like at some point,
you're just like I'm done for me. It's not the bed for really,
it's the food. I can't.I get so tired of fast food.
Yeah, I can't do it.Feel like I just want to sit down
(17:45):
restaurant. Right, You still withus, Damien, You've been block You've
been you can You've been just goingin and out with the video. I'm
trying to make sure you're still withus. Yeah, I'm here. I'm
here your turn. Yeah I couldtalk in your turn. So you know,
you keep you keep mentioning. That'sall excited to me. Okay,
(18:14):
I forgot where I was going.See, so you keep you keeping all
kinds of notes I do, andyou keep you keep jumping in front of
me. No, you know youkeep mentioning, you keep mentioning get Haunted?
What what is get haunted? Forthose who may not know exactly what
it is. Oh, we areWow, we are hard to put into
(18:38):
one sentence. So we're like amulti facetted paranormal network. So we do
everything from having the network where wecan bring everyone from like the Novice,
the Season investigator teams, we kindof like created this space for all of
them to come together, but asafe space, like there's no judgment.
(19:00):
You know, if you can't comeinto you can't come in act on like
an you know, like act likean act like an ass a curse,
Right, I go for it.But a jackass, Yeah, like a
jack You can't be a jackass there. Everyone, you know, you come
here to grow, you come thereto learn, you come there to experiences
tips. If you have a questionabout a location, you come to the
network. Everyone helps each other there. It's so it's it's a breath of
(19:23):
fresh air actually because it's something thatso many people have been looking for for
so long. So we finally havethis one centralized location. We get Haunted
dot com. We have the publicnetwork, the private network on Facebook.
We also are an events and servicescompany. So what we'll do there is
we will rent out locations, dothe ticket sales. We keep our events
(19:47):
small. I hate overcrowding. Noone wants anyone to have a horrible experience.
Our biggest thing is it's about you. It's your investigation. We're there
to facilitate it. We want youto have your experience. You're not there
to watch our you know what Imean. So small group and we try,
we try our best. So wheneveryone comes in, a big part
(20:07):
of what we do is we wantto get to know you. So there's
a lot of you know, justlike socializing, trying to figure out,
okay, if you have a lotmore experience, we're going to try to
group you with other people that area little bit more experiences. In that
way, you don't have to worryabout gauging what you're doing because maybe someone
isn't as skilled or as knowledgeable insomething. So I try to keep the
levels of experience similar. And thenwe usually have two to three crew members
(20:33):
per location, depending on the sizeof location. Obviously split the people into
groups. You know, we gohalf the night is a guided investigation,
so we'll take our groups. Youknow, we'll explain the equipment we're going
to use, how it works, what the theory is, give a little
bit of the history of the location, run them through a few experiments,
try to get them, you know, as involved as possible because it's it's
(20:55):
their night, you know, andabout halfway through the evening we kind of
leave it up to that. It'skind of a free room situation. We're
like, okay, guys, hey, you learned what we can give you,
free go, you know, I'llhave your time. And then if
you know, there's sometimes there's peoplewho they're not as comfortable going and do
their own things, so we staywith them, we continue to investigate with
them, or sometimes we'll give whichis my favorite thing, as we'll do
(21:17):
like these little extra experiments. Youknow, they're optional if you want to
do them. Usually there's a lotof like estis involved with that. Or
sometimes we'll do like we have likethose trips. Have you ever guys ever
used those trip wires? So tripwires are fantastic. Oh my god,
what trip wires. They're great. Our one investiator, Brittany, she is
(21:37):
so great at using these things inall these fun and innovative ways, Like
the one time she had them allthe way around the table. I think
she's doing like a card game.So if you know, if the spirit
wanted to hit, they had tolight up the spot of the trip wire
they were. That's awesome. Shegets squatl She's phenomenal with these things.
And then the one time she hada circle and you put all the chairs
(22:00):
around it and she'd ask them tolight up the one that's under the chair
of the person they liked the most. It's just well, our crew is
I give them all credos man. They come up with the wildest, like
not cookie cutter experiments to do withlike whatever is at their disposal. They're
so good with that. That's agood. Yeah. So that's that's what
we do as far as events andservices, and then we also do merchandise.
(22:22):
Merchandise is huge part of what wedo. Right we have the merchandise
to me is pulling my teeth andout I am yeah, time T shirts,
mugs, we've got laser grits. So we do customization too, so
which is phenomenal because Okay, yourteam, your small team, you don't
(22:44):
want to have to order five millionshirts. So that your team can have
shirts. We can help you there. We can do the smaller quantities.
We can put your logo on.Or if say, like you have a
name, but you can't figure outa damn logo, you know what I
mean, So we'll help you figureout your logo. We'll get you customized.
There's this whole section that's just gearedtowards helping people that are wanting to
like get a brand, you knowwhat I mean, a customization. And
(23:08):
then we also I'm trying to thinkthere's something I'm missing. Oh my god,
how could I forget that? I'msorry. I feel like I'm mailing,
consulting someone who's getting started and maybehas questions we can figure out,
Okay, what is it that youneed? Who do we know that we
can help you, and just tryingto get people where they want to be
(23:30):
in the paranormal because that's kind oflike it's kind of our thing is just
we want everyone to be uplifting. If you win, we sin if you
know, and then we can't helpeach other, right because you never know
who's going to be the person thathits on the evidence that breaks some some
barrier to where we actually start understandingwhat we're dealing with here. Yes,
(23:51):
And I feel like it's so important. Like if you can give somebody else
to tools, maybe they have astrategy or everyone has a different mindset,
everyone thinks that things differently. Maybewhat you're doing is not working, but
they can think of something a littledifferently and it gets you know, gets
the answers or the evidence or thatand how I mean that's not where is
that not a win? You knowwhat I mean? Right? Well,
(24:12):
there's so many teams that are justout there for themselves and they're just very
protective and closed off and don't evenYeah, they don't care. I know.
It always wants to me, it'sit's to me, it's not it's
not about that. It's about helpingeach other. It's about the community.
We've got a huge community. Yeah, I mean for as small as the
(24:33):
paranormal is, it's huge, youknow what I mean? Yeah? Yeah,
And I mean we're only making itsmaller when we don't want to share.
So and the thing is too SometimesI wonder is it because they've been
like I try to give everyone thatbenefit of the doubt. I'm like,
is it because they were burned somany times? When they were trying to
start, and they just they wantthat they want to be able to say
(24:55):
I did this for me, youknow what I mean, Like, I
hope I don't want that to be. Maybe for some people it is,
and I would hope that they findpeople out, you know what I mean.
Yeah, I would think for somepeople that would be the reason.
For others, they're just they're justjealous of what they have. They're yeah,
it's yeah, that's happened. ButI you know, for my team,
(25:15):
for my team, when I starteddoing this, I was all about,
whoever wants to come in and investigate, I will give you that chance.
I'm more than I'm all for it. And I my entire team is
new. I do not have oneseasoned investigator on there except for me.
You know what the beauty of thatis, they're all going to think outside
(25:37):
the box. They're not far way, you know what I mean? They
are. My resident skeptic is oneof the biggest innovators on the face of
the planet right now. He isreally good about it, and he doesn't
he didn't believe in the paranormal whenhe first started. He just had his
first experience at the Gaines House inGainsborough and he is he picked up my
(26:00):
dawsing rods and he says, Ican't explain that. H get that.
Heck, I'm like it isn't thatthe best when there's someone who's like it
can't be and then they're like wow, like how right? Right? So
yeah, Damien called me. Hesays, I got somebody new for you.
(26:22):
I'm like, cool, those arethe send them over and even because
like we do a lot of publicinvestigations, so we'll always ask like,
hey, who's who are the skepticsin the room? Who doesn't believe?
And it's it's fun to watch themthroughout the night, especially if they're what
they haven't really had their first experiencesyet when they finally get got just the
whole, their energy everything changes.Yeah. Yeah, I told him,
(26:48):
I told him. I told Jim. I said, I really want to
have a camera on you when yousee your first full bodied apparition. Oh,
you don't forget that either, tobe incredible. What's your next topic,
Damian? Oh, I'm just anenjoyee listening to you guys. Cat
(27:11):
He's gonna fire me after this show. Cool, I love this so so
so, what's some of the placesyou've investigated, not as a part of
like the events and stuff, justlike as with your sale forwards, just
a few friends. What's some ofthe most some of the best places you've
(27:34):
investigated personally? Nope, so actuallyI think when I first got started,
I spent a lot of time inGettysburg and the Orphanage, the National Soldiers.
(27:57):
I will screw up the whole. It's the old Orphanage. Getting into
that for the first time. Thatis one of those places you always have
that one or at some point inyou're life you end up having that one
location that it either calls to youor there's something about it that you just
always have that connection. And forme, it's it's the Orphanage in Gettysburg
(28:18):
walking in there for the first time, and it's gone through some renovations.
They are trying to take care ofthis building, but at one point it
had you would walk into that there'sa storefront and then you would walk into
the side and they were doing itkind of as like a haunt almost like
a haunted attraction. But hello,we know what it takes to keep buildings
(28:47):
up and property up and all thatkind of crap. I mean, it's
a lot more intense than what peoplethink it is. Let's see, he
just lost connection. Hello, Ijust I just popped. Hey, there
he is. I don't know whatthe fuck just happened. I can hear
you. We can't see you.Oh no, I don't know, but
(29:07):
we can. We can hear you. We can't see you like I have
nolk. Like my screen just wentblank and like everybody was gone, well,
I've got I've got the Oh no, there's just Danny, there's me.
There. You are you kept here? We are We're bad. We're
(29:30):
bad. So I just missed liketwo minutes of what we were talking about.
Oh we just went into where IWe were talking about how get I
like to get Haunted premise and theirbusiness. Their business model in that it's
(29:52):
a one plate, one stop shopfor what you need. It's kind of
what I wanted to do with theparanormal. But it also is related to
Historic Rescue that I had started. It's a nonprofit that I started when I
first got into being stories about theparanormal to help locations restore, maintain,
and repair. I don't think thatthat goes hand in hand what we try
(30:15):
to do it. Does you everwant like work side by side that we
can try to help. I would, I would dearly love to do something
like that. I'm gonna have toget a hold of you guys and have
us sit down. Are you guysgonna what paracons are you gonna be at
lately? Coming up? I haveus sit next to I think we have
Ocean State Paracon Arracon? Which areyou going to? Rock Island? No?
(30:37):
I don't think, Okay to NOSone I'm going to right now is
Rock Island, and then after thatit's Nashville. No, No, after
that's wild Man the one, andwe can definitely got to talk. I
can get you hooked up around andyeah we should. Yeah we need to.
We need to sit down and havea drink and talk and have dinner
(30:57):
and all that other kind of stYeah, but absolutely love that. Yeah,
that would be so much fun. What about me? Hi, Damien,
welcome back. You can come too, but you gotta drive with me.
So nobody even realized I was gone. So what's next? I have
(31:21):
no idea. No, as soonas you dropped up, I stopped.
I was like, oh, wekept talking, like I just turned versation
into something else. Yeah, yeah, like we were doing we were doing
Girly Bond. It went to mymain screen and I was like, are
you fucking kidding me? I justlost that entire episode. Yeah, you
were losing me again, like Iwas so pissed. I don't know.
(31:44):
I mean, it's been stormy.If you, I don't think you.
I don't know if you did ornot. I you lost the recording on
it or not. No, itstill shows it because when it came back
it said that Danny was the hostagain right away too. Yeah, it
shows us still recording. So Idon't know. It's probably because we've been
having storms on and off all dayand we have shitty internet. Maybe the
(32:05):
gods are with us this year.Okay maybe so uh now that things are
kind of back, So what's someonelikes have been through here too? Right?
Where are you at right now?Allen Town? Nice? Where are
you? Oh? Allan Town Easton? Okay? Got it? Got it?
Yeah that whole little area. I'vegot a good to uh keep going,
(32:30):
Damien, Danny, Marie and Icould probably talk for hours and still
not reach a scratch. I justI just I just got a couple more
cops. I just got a couplemore fat can you hear me? Am
I still here? I'll go toget Eastburg with you? Ok yeah,
(32:52):
always, I don't know if I'mstill here. Yeah we can we can
hear you. Sweet Yeah you're you'refrozen, but we can hear you.
This is ridiculous. It's probably thestorms. Yeah, you're here, you're
here. Can you hear here?I can hear you, guys, you're
here, here here. Okay,So before this, I'll just screw you.
(33:19):
Keep trying, keep trying. Canyou hear me? What's the next
what's the next thing? Well, before this screws up, I just want
to know, like, what's thelist? I'll read it. Yeah,
I have terrible hand rap, right, Yeah, but the internet sucks out
there, so yeah, I willgo to Gettysburg with you. Hands,
(33:39):
I would go to Gettysburg with you. There's so many places out there too,
so I just well, just thereason why I moved to Tennessee was
because of Civil War history. Oh, Gettysburg. Then hey, it has
to be Gettysburg. I have todo Gettysburg next years. Oh, if
you're gonna go out that way,Hashtown Jeremy and Danielle owned Cashtown. Oh
(34:04):
my god, they have made thisplace looks so phenomenal. They're the most
ding And Hi, I think I'mback, You're back. I have no
idea, I have no idea anykeep talking, keep talking, just keep
talking. Yeah, so while I'mhere, just keep talking. While I'm
(34:27):
here. I have one more thingI wanted to ask for. What is
some of your bucket this location, whether you do it by yourself or with
get haunted. Oh okay, sothis might be so genaric, but I
really want Stanley Hotel Stanley. That'swhy. Oh my goodness to Stanley the
(34:59):
what is we record? And allof a sudden, I can't think.
Help me out here, guys LakeShawnee. Right, that's the one that
that's the Amazement Park. Yes,I have been. I've been begging and
they're like maybe, but it's anoutdoor thing. So like doing an event
for the public, it's harder todo those. Yeah, So bucketless probably
just for me? Is is therethe Goldfield? Yeah? I've done the
(35:23):
Goldfield? Oh my god? Howwas it what I've done the Goldfield?
Oh I've been wanting to get inthere. Oh my god. It's just
it's you're talking about the one that'sin Goldfield, Nevada. Right, hotel
and the owner in Nevada. SoI know the owner. She's a she's
(35:45):
an Oregonian, just like me.So yeah, and I had helped.
Yeah, I've done the gold Field. Oh, if you want to go
back, if you want to goback West and do gold gold gold Rush
stuff. Yeah, you're taking me, I will, I'll pick you up.
Let's go, let's go. I'lleven drive halfway. I love road
(36:06):
trips. I do too. Iabsolutely adore that. I love them.
And even even when the rest ofmy career's like, oh, I'm like,
let's go, guys, let mego, because you get to you
know, you're scene. I meanreally seriously, when you take a road
trip, it's a lot better thanwhen you're driving when you're like, you
get to see so much and it'slike even just like meeting the people at
(36:30):
the different places you stop and thenget sometimes you get recommendations, Hey check
this place out. Yeah you neverwould have known about. Now there's there's
a show. There's a show Paranormalroad Trip so fun, so fun.
So yeah, but yeah there andthen Birdcage Theater, like I kind of
in the Birdcage. Oh my god, I'm gonna steal you and I'm more
(36:52):
than likely it is haunted because whenI was in there, it was like,
uh, I don't want to goaround the corner. I really don't
want to go around the And Ihad been there before I was an investigator,
and I found there to be honestanything. Yep. Do you imagine
if you would have actually been pokingaround, if I had been actually been
(37:12):
poking around, right, that wholetown of Tombstone is just filled with stuff.
Yeah, I need the cemetery wasmy favorite. Yeah, oh yeah,
picked me up, pick me up. I'll send you my address,
pick me up. We're gone.I don't even have a job to worry
about, do it. But yeah, I think those are the main ones
on my bucket list. I mean, there's always one to add on as
(37:36):
you go, because you know herenew by new places. But it's like
College Hill. I hadn't heard aboutthat place instantly, At this place,
at this place? Oh am,I freezing up again? Which place?
Oh Scott? What place? OhScott? Yeah, Scott, honey,
(38:00):
yep, I need you there, you need to Okay. Miranda and and
Chris are incredible. And Miranda runsShe's got spiker, Miranda's got biker.
Explorations Spiker. Yeah, she's GhostSpiker. Chris co founder knows her.
(38:22):
Yeah good, Yeah, yeah, and yeah come on Dan, Yeah,
it's a great I need to Yeah, I should definitely I need to do
some more road trips. This isso you do you have any Do you
have any downtime? Are you constantlyworking right now? Because we're kind of
in the spooky season right so yeah, always spooky season for me, but
like right now for the mel Yeah, we're a little busy right now,
(38:45):
but it's gonna be you know, dies off in the winter a little bit
and then doesn't kind of pick upinstrum until like midsummer. But yeah,
so right now kind of put butit won't be you know, I'll get
some downtime in there eventually, I'llYeah, you really do need to have
some damn time just for your ownpersonal health, yes, and even just
(39:07):
to get into because because of doingthe public investigation side with yet haunted,
you don't Yeah you're in haunted locations. Yes, you're helping run in investigation.
You're not actually investigating because you're makingsure everyone else is getting their time
to do it. So there's alot of times you go to a location
maybe for the first time. You'relike, I can't wait to go back
there and just do it myself, because you know, yeah, if there's
(39:28):
a noise, you can't go runafter it. You got guys, you
want you guys go check that.I mean, well, that's what I
told Damian the other day. Isaid, if I've got an owner that
wants to be on an investigation,I have no problem with that. But
I will instantly ask for a secondinvestigation where they're not present, just because
it'll be a different experience. It'sa different experience. And if you're if
(39:49):
you spend the entire time talking andteaching and training and explaining and you don't
get investigation time, you don't getto connect with the location. You're trying
to connect with the owners so thatyou can get that kind of information across
to him. But yeah, Itotally agree, you need to have time
that you get to go out andinvestigate. It's it's so important too,
(40:13):
because you don't want to lose, like you never want to lose that spark
what made you want to start inthe beginning. And then you know,
if you're doing the same thing everysingle time and not giving yourself that much
needed time. You kind of likeget jaded, right exactly, Yeah,
totally, yeah, I completely getthat. Are you still with us,
Damien, I'm here. I thinkyou're checking on you. He's kind of
(40:37):
here. Are you here? ThinkI think I'm here? Hello? There
he is? All right, Wellbefore this, you're here, You're you're
here? So what else is onyour list? I mean, I don't
I don't really know. I don'tknow what I'm going to be allowed to
do because I don't know if I'mgonna get shut off again by the internet.
So see everybody, Okay, wellchat chat a little bit. You
(41:07):
should come out to my house andtoo. I've thought about just going to
Genus because you don't live so withanything else on your list on my list,
on my bucket listen, No,I might, I might have to.
Yeah, so you know, Imean, I think for me for
(41:30):
the next time. Yeah, Sowhat is next on your path? For
for me? For what what's comingup next? What's next on your path?
On my path? Just I definitelywant to. I love the whole
the direction that get Haunted's going withwith networking with everyone, and I'm hoping
(41:52):
that that grows into something even bigger. I kind of would like to see
us, not that I don't haveto say so that sounded stupid, but
like i'd like to see a littlebit more time spent with which I think
we're going to end up doing, like different specialty projects and stuff. I'd
like to be more involved with thatside of it and to connect with the
different There's all these different teams thatI'm getting to me right now that I
(42:15):
absolutely adore, like P three Sand Exician Paranormal. There two that I
just just got to like really connectwith and to be fair size projects would
be so fun that or trying toget you know, trying to get out
there. And I kind of like, so I started this whole divination thing,
like finding divination with Danny, andit's more of I've always loved divination.
(42:37):
It's kind of a it's that partof the paranormal for me is so
much more exciting than the beeps andthe buzzies of all the equipment. Not
really an equipment person, I don'treally but oh was that mean? Okay,
No, I don't know, butyeah, So I'd like to maybe
do something where I can expand onthat and for me, the starting that
(43:00):
page on Facebook was. I wantpeople to help help me in my learning
experience with it, because I willnever claim to be an expert in anything.
I've been agreeing with tarot cards sinceI was a kid, but I'll
never ever claim to be an experton that. There's dowsing rods, which
I'm so I get so frustrated with, which I think is a reason that
I should learn to use them alittle more to get past that frustration level.
(43:23):
Dowsing rod I've said that pendulums justlike all those those little nuances for
just trying it without the batteries andthe you know, the scrying. Oh
I would love to dive into that. Well what I went out and God,
is a actual compass to replace aK two? Oh oh, I
(43:46):
like this? How do you feellike? How do you feel with doing
that? Do you like it?It is not as sensitive as a K
two is, So you're getting actualreal readings from things that are not as
as readable by the K two.So you're getting you're getting some real stuff
(44:06):
using the compass rather than the Ktwo. Oh my god, I never
would have thought of that. Thatis so awesome. How did you come
up with that? I am allabout finding things that are everyday things to
use. It's like I used tocarry a five pound bag of flour with
me and my ghost hunting kit justto see if something when move ye,
and then cat cat balls came upand I'd been using cat balls for years
(44:30):
and then everybody else discovered them.Yeah, I've got like twenty six of
them or something like that. Yeah, it's like fifteen bucks and you get
three million of them only because catslose them because they're like and they go
fly in and so yeah, Iam all about finding everyday items to use.
(44:52):
I have a pin wheel, whichwell i'm packing I'm moving this this
coming week. Pin wheels would begreat. Have one? I got to
go down to the dollar store.Yeah, you have to. They're fun.
I've not had it work for meyet, but I haven't brought it
to the last couple investigations either. So that's on me, the fact that
I haven't gotten it to communicate. But yeah, because you imagine it's something
(45:15):
that would be easy enough right fora spirit energy to move. It doesn't
take a lot, and you couldget them to like to either. You
can get them to go this way, you can them that way. You
can get them to go either way, yeah, or not move it because
I don't like things where when itgoes off, your first response is like,
oh, are the batteries dying?Like no, I want something where
(45:35):
I'm like, I can't explain whyit's doing that. I went out and
built. Have you ever seen pendulumjars? I have I would love to
make, like you can make thoseyour I've made them. I have like
nine of them right now that I'mgoing to take to the para cons with
me. You like, Yeah, that's kind of taking the aspect of it's
you doing it right. It takesall human all human manipulation out of the
(46:00):
Asian. Oh I need to Ineed to make one, or I need
to buy one off the or somethingyou sell them. Yeah, I do,
I do, but I'll send youone. You can. You can
test drive it for me. Ohmy god, I'll buy it and then
and then I'll send the whole thingfor you. We'll we'll talk later and
I'll send you one. Yeah,my Damien. Welcome to the Dan Welcome
(46:23):
to the Danny and Kelly Show.Oh yeah, we just we've known each
other all of our lives, youknow, throughout several centuries. So and
else she got for us. Idon't think anything. Yeah, so I
(46:45):
think, yeah, I don't.I'm not sure where my past lead me,
past divination and all that, butyeah, past, yeah, past
the divination. Where where's the nextlocation you're gonna be at? It's the
next location we're going to. Itis a conjuring house. I have my
(47:06):
listen here. Conjuring House is comingup September sixteenth for the crew. Yeah.
I will not be there, butour crew will be there for that
one. And then we have Ithink it's six twenty second as we're having.
So have you guys ever been toPine Bush? There's this? Okay,
so there's this Pine Bush UFO andParanormal Museum. Its pine Bush,
(47:30):
New York. I think it's NewYork. Don't tell me if I got
that wrong, but yeah, isthis fun little place where you know,
they have like this whole museum setup. They do lectures there. So
Robin Sarah, who are our cofounders of Get Haunted, they're going to
be doing a lecture there for forPine Bush. And then the next day,
which would be September twenty three,we're doing a double event, so
(47:51):
we're gonna have half of the crewis going to be working the Shanley Hotel
and Napanock. Yeah, I thinkit's Napanack. And the other half is
gonna be doing the middle the MiddleOrange Correctional Facility, which is Hey,
so are you guys gonna do adouble S decession where you do one in
one location, one in the otherlocation. You see if the responses masked
(48:13):
the questions on both locations. We'vebeen doing that and I'm going to bring
that up, like, hey, guys, do you want to try this
there? D Yeah, try adouble S decession this weekend yesterday, Actually
we were we had three locations right, so we had I was at White
Hill Mansion in Fieldsboro, Fieldsboro,New Jersey. I'm gonna butcher every single
(48:34):
place where it's out. It's sobad. It's it's been a weekend,
so I would should have gotten upand gotten that drink before we started.
So we had that Endfield in seventeenseventy one Endfield House, A lot of
people know it as the Endfield DemonHouse from Animal Planet. So we had
that location, and then we hadPaul Myra, So we had all three
(48:58):
of them and we did Alive overour Get Haunted YouTube we did a live
STIs experiment went really well. Wehad everyone that was under the estis.
I'm pretty sure at least two ofthe locations they named every single location.
They were calling up people's names fromboth, like all three locations. It
got a little wild. Actually verycool, very very cool. So that's
(49:22):
something I like. I like that, like if we're going to use equipment,
like, let's use it outside ofthe box kind of way, you
know what I mean? Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, So yeah, that's
I'm trying to bring that up thatthey should im like, Hey, if
you guys want to do a littleextra, maybe try the estis that way.
So yeah, that would be thatwould be interesting to see if something
(49:44):
happens on both of those locations,Oh my gosh. And then I would
start looking at who's haunted on yourgroup. I feel like we're all so
here's the thing, because we've allthere's a small group of us that have
been doing this together for so longnow. Yeah, and I feel like
I think it is us sometimes,Like I think I think we bring it
out, like just the energy ofwhen we're together, things get a little
haywired And I'm like, yeah,I don't know, you know, I
(50:07):
wonder if I wonder I've often wonderedif it's the energy of the people that
are there that actually stimulates you know, if you're around people that are if
you're around people that are active,and they're laughing, they're joking, they're
having a great time, you wantto be a part of that. So
what means I mean, what's preventingthe ghosts from not being part of that
(50:28):
as well? You know, Ithink it's having fun. Everybody's got to
be a part of that. Andthat's something we always try to tell our
guests because there's those ones that sitthere like they don't know what to do,
where they're really nervous, and we'relike, guys, the more you
put into this is the more you'regonna get out of it. The more
time you're you're spending enjoying it,you send energy waves out. All the
time you throw out, you getback in one form or another. So
(50:51):
right, yeah, why why notif you're sitting there and you're having a
great time. Some of my bestevidence ever is always when we're not trying.
It's when we're like we started doingan experiment and it wasn't working,
so we just started giggling and talkingwith ourselves and all of a sudden something's
going off, or we get anEVP telling us what the card is in
front of us, and I loveit. I love it. It's just
(51:13):
so cool. There's just something aboutthe paranormal that just yeah. And then
there's the whole level of like,we don't really everyone's like the one question
I ask every single time, I'mlike, please do not ask if they
know that they're dead, because wedon't know if they're dead. We don't
know what exactly it is that we'recommunicating with. What if it's what if
(51:37):
it's just a thinning of the timelines. What if it's a dimensional thing?
What if what if we're the ghosts? What if they're the ones that are
living? And where are they go? I mean, have you seen that
one with Nicole Kidman, that movie? Oh my god, what was the
name of that movie? The others? No, yes, the others that
the end of that movie. Iwant to have my favorite movies of all
(52:00):
times, like are you getting meright now? Oh my god? That
it opened up an entirely new worldfor me. There's so much that we
don't know, which I think makesit all the more exciting when we do
get some kind of evidence. Yeahright, Yeah, always leaves me with
like five more questions and I havean answer for us, right Yeah.
I don't think we're ever gonna cutIf we ever get to the point where
(52:22):
we start getting answers for this,it's gonna kind of ruin some of the
fun. We have kind of squashedsome of the magic out of it.
Watch some of the magic. Yeah, yeah, I'm right there where they
have mentions and stuff, right yeah, Because yeah, the world's the I
mean, they talk about the veilthinning in after after Halloween or Mabon.
(52:45):
No it's not Mabon, it's asand hang so Swaynes. So they talk
about the veil thinning. So whatif that is actually something true? What
if there is a veil? Andwhat if it does go up every now
and then and we get we getinside into the spirit world. It just
we don't know. And here weare, here, we are being modern
(53:06):
human beings who don't have any knowledgeof anything that our elders had back And
that is frustrating, like how arethey so more that so far advanced in
certain aspects of life that now we'rejust like I don't know how they did
that. Well, yeah, wellthey were more in touch with reality than
we are. Actually, just yougotta think of it too, like even
(53:29):
and I'm sure people have done thisexperiment, but like taking when you're getting
your most evidence, when you're gettingyour most interaction, and say, when
is you know, the moon phasesand the electromagnetic field and like where is
everything lining up? What is that? Is that the veil? Is that?
Because like you know, the magneticsfrom the Earth, from the tectonic
plates, from like everything, right, what is it? A million different
(53:53):
us is running around in different dimensions? Right? Have you ever had and
this is like where starting out forme was, have you ever had a
piece of equipment or a walkie talkiego off and it's the voice of the
person standing right next to you AndYou're like, there's no way that was
just them, because they're right there. See now, that hasn't happened to
me yet, and I'm kind ofI mean, the only thing that I've
(54:15):
had is a doppelganger. I've seena doppelganger of my brother and yeah,
so it was somebody that I'd knownall my life that I saw and he
it was him it was his face, it was his eyes, it was
everything about him. Isn't that theweirdest experience? Oh my god, that
(54:36):
happened happened to me? Penhurst.I thought I saw one of my crew
members on a different floor and Icame down. I'm like, how how
are you? How are you here? You were just there and grow I've
been here and I'm like, okay, well I just saw you, like
up on another floor. And thenat one point it was crazy and then
we had a table set up becausewe were at a Parican and Penhurst,
(54:59):
I took a picture of our logo. I was just getting stupid and I
was like trying to get a stupidangle on our logo. Took the picture
and I'm going through it and I'mjust like all the color went out of
I'm behind the damn logo. It'sme standing behind our logo and I'm like,
I took What the hell? There'sno way, like, no way,
I don't know. I don't keepinggoing out, but like my face
looks It scares me because my eyeslook funny and it like I don't like
(55:20):
that. Wow, yeah see thatwould be the yeah, I don't send
that to you. Then just beweird. I was like, yeah,
right, someone took your phone andI'm like, no, I have witnesses.
I'm going to tip the photo.I don't know. Yeah, yeah,
that's it's just it's they could probablyspend hours and hours and hours and
(55:44):
hours and hours upon hours and daysand years and months and whatever the hell
talking about the paranormal. Me personally, I wouldn't stop if I if I
had an opportunity to talk about ittwenty four seven, three sixty five,
I'd probably do it. I feellike, good, absolutely, yeah,
But I'm not one of those weirdos'. I'm actually a normal person. But
(56:05):
I just have a caption for theparanormal. So what else you got for
us, Damian? What else doyou want us to talk about? And
that's why you kept get called getyou kept getting called the witch? Right?
Yeah? Did you really two sto sessions now at separate locations.
(56:31):
They've said they well, the oneat the stables. Let me tell you
about the one at the stables. The one of the stables. We were
doing the s to session and theysaid Kelly and they went and everybody said
which one, because Damien's wife isnamed Kelly as well. Okay, so
they said the nice one. Andthen at some point I came up in
(56:55):
conversation and I was the witch, which doesn't bother me because I am.
Then we're Then I was at anotherlocation for just on Wednesday and they were
doing another s to session and theysaid and it said Kelly. And the
