(00:35):
Ladies and gentlemen, this is LifeBeyond six Feet. I'm Damien and welcome
to the show. This week,I have another past guest from season one,
episode number eight. I have missChristen Amanda of the Paranormal Girl podcast.
Kristen, welcome back to Life Beyondsix Feet. Well, thank you
Damien, and welcome back to you, sir. I am so happy you
(00:59):
are back in action, back inthe saddle. Just really looking forward to
the show. I missed it.I missed you. I mean, you
know, I see you all thetime, but I missed you, buddy,
right And uh, like I toldGil and Joy when I talk to
them, you three guys are thereason I brought the show back. Y'all
(01:21):
bestowed that that excitement back in mewith what we've been doing. And uh,
I knew at some point I wouldbring the showback. I just didn't
know when. And over the lastwhat six seven months now, with what
we've been doing, that that excitementhas been brought back and I'm like,
it's time to start back up.So yeah, yeah, absolutely, So
(01:44):
it's been Uh it's been a longtime coming. I know a lot of
people were like, are you gonnacome back? When he's bringing it back,
and I was like, I don'tknow when or if, and so
well I'm glad. I'm glad,and like I I get I get the
reasons why, you know, podcastersneed need a break. Some times I
get it. Uh, you know, it always hurts my heart a little
bit, especially when it's a goodshow. You always brought good content,
(02:07):
You ask a questions, great guests, and it's just like, you know,
you know, you got to yougotta let them fly and and come
back when they want to. Butit's just I'm just really happy you're back.
Well, I appreciate it. Solet's talk about what you've been up
to on your show, because nowI know you're up to like what season
six seven, somewhere around there, episode like one hundred and fifty or something.
(02:30):
It's outrageous how much, yeah, how much you've done just in the
couple of years since we first chatted. So so tell me, tell me
what the show has been up toin the last couple of years, well,
last last couple of years. Actually, basically the last two seasons have
(02:50):
been the last couple of years. It's so funny, like I think about
the beginning when I was mapping outthe show, I was like, Okay,
so here's the deal. I'm goingto do one object each season.
Each season's only going to be likenine ten episodes. Its gonna be great.
It's gonna be just a quick education. And that's how it started out.
And then slowly, over that firstlike year, year and a half,
the season started growing. And thenI hit season five, which was
(03:16):
all about aliens and UFOs, andthat one was thirty episodes, and I
was like, oh, dang, dang, okay, I'm not gonna do
that. I'm a real it backin so here. I am at the
end of season six all about Sasquatch, and I think I'm about fifty episodes
in it. Dang. Near tookan entire year to do this season,
(03:38):
which is I mean, in allreality that that's probably about right, you
know, like like try to tryto measure the seasons by the year,
kind of stretch it out a littlebit, and it's but it's provided me
more opportunity to explore even more minutelike niches and little facets of the subject
(03:59):
of Sasquatch. Things I never thoughtI would learn or want to know,
Like, you know, Sasquatch hasbeen a trip. Man. It's never
it's never really been one of thosesubjects for me. Like growing up,
it wasn't nobody really talked to meabout it. It wasn't really like the
stories that we would tell each other. We were all about like ghost stories
and afterlife stuff and that that's myjam. But yeah, just jumping headfirst
(04:26):
into Sasquatch, into a subject Ireally really didn't know much about. I
knew about the Patterson Gimlin film.I knew about the phenomenon, like they're,
yeah, okay, some people thinkthere's this big Harry ape out in
our woods, right, and thatwas about it. That was about it.
And I've said that before for differentsubjects, but like for this,
(04:46):
like it's the real deal. I'mhonestly speaking just from my heart. I
didn't know much about it. Soit was kind of, I don't know,
just eye opening and mind blowing toreally learn, like why is it
that people believe this phenomenon? Whydo they believe so hard that this thing
is out there? And here atthe end of the season, I have
(05:11):
gathered why I'm getting it? Yeah, all right, And that is quite
a few episodes to do about onesubject. But when you actually deep dive
into any kind of subject. Nextthing, you know, you're like,
holy shit, I've already done likeseventy two episodes about this one thing.
Where did the time go? SoI mean, I could only imagine if
(05:33):
if I really, if I didmy show like you and like Gill and
them did, or I just kindof focused on one subject per episode,
I get I'd get lost and thenI'd be like, oh, well,
I just discovered this, now Iwant to do one about this, and
I would just keep going yeah,And so that's I don't really have time
(05:53):
for that. So with kids andeverything, that that kind of takes up
a lot of the time. Sothat's kind of a reason I wanted to
stick with just talking to people.I've thought about doing the episode here,
and they're just but then I'm like, do I really just want to hear
myself talk for an hour? Sobut you know, I give you and
(06:18):
Gil and everybody that does these kindsof episodes major props, because like I
would, I would either talk toomuch or I would lose interest very easily,
and I would just stop doing it. So as I get sidetracked very
easy of like if my mind's notfocused in on it, like I've I've
tried to sit down several times toput all my different paranormal experiences onto paper,
(06:41):
and I'll get sidetracked. And thenI was like, well, i'll
finish, I do some more tomorrow, and then tomorrow comes, I don't
do it. I'll do something tothe next day. The next day comes
and so I mean I had aboutsix pages typed out at one point.
I have no clue what happened toit. And so let's, uh,
let's talk a little bit about Tombstone. I know recently you you went to
(07:03):
Tombstone, Arizona for a convention. How did that go? Oh, my
gosh, it was amazing. Itwas just an amazing trip from start to
finish. Never been to Tombstone. And I was accepted as a vendor at
the Tombstone wild West Para con It'stheir the This was their second annual one,
(07:24):
and it was just rad I metso many people professionally speaking at the
at the convention, I met somany people. I had my booth set
up like a little like radio station, had my banner. I had a
bunch of people stop at my tablethat first day. The second day was
a different story. It was alittle little bit quieter and people were just
were like no, no, no. But first day was just bomb dude,
(07:48):
Like, talked to so many amazingpeople, met a lot of people.
Got to meet Bruce Oh gosh,oh no. His last name is
scapes me. He's the coordinator ofof the wild West para Con and he's
just a hoot. He was onmy show. I actually did a two
part with him because hey has somegreat stories. He's a great storyteller,
(08:09):
so I just let him go.But he was great. And yeah,
I met actually a couple of upcomingguests that I'm going to have on in
season seven at the end of thesummer. So that was great and I'm
actually they actually provided me with thestories that they sat down and gave me
at my table. We recorded allof them. So that's going to be
(08:30):
part of my content for my summerhiatus that's coming up, so we'll do
a special installments of the paranorm Girlpodcast, just like ghost stories and scary
stories. So that part was awesome. Experiencing Tombstone was awesome. Like if
you've never been whatever it is youthink, like whatever it is that you
have in your mind, like you'veseen the movie Tombstone. You hear people
(08:54):
talking about Yeah, yeah, it'slike the old buildings, and you know,
it's all like a bunch of originalstuff, looks like old Western.
It is that it's like you're walkingdown this dirt road and it's just the
boardwalks on both sides and the littlekind of cute little shops and saddlerys and
cigar shops and stuff like that. It's very atmospheric, like it's like you
(09:18):
step back in time a little bit. And then the place that we stayed,
we stayed in an old boorddello thatyeah, way back in the day.
It was actually moved across town becauseit was too close to a school.
So they picked up this house, moved it across town. They built
(09:39):
some additions onto it, but theyactually retained the original staircase and two original
rooms, and we were able tostay in one of those original rooms.
And it was actually I had specificallyasked for the most haunted room. That's
what I wanted. Yes, Sowe were planning to do some ghost investigating
(10:03):
at this place. I don't knowhow far you want me to go into
this, Just tell me to tellme to sup as far As. So
we yeah, we had been planning, let's let's bring our equipment, let's
do some investigating there. I mean, it's a bordello, it's so old.
And then we're in the most hauntedroom. So like the first night,
you know, we set up theEVP recorder and we were just talking,
(10:24):
hoping to catch some EVPs, andnothing happened. And it was weird
because like the room itself was itwas it was quaint, it was it
was cute, it was quiet. It was like very peaceful, like a
peaceful atmosphere. So I didn't feelanything. They keep a journal on the
bedside table for guests of the roomto write down their experiences with Sadie.
(10:46):
That's that's the name of the ghostthat purportedly haunts it, and a lot
of people have written like, yeah, the faucet and the shower turned on,
and a door opened, a drawerlike wiggled, stuff like that,
And so I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. The whole weekend,
nothing was happening. Okay, that'sfine, that's fine. Maybe Sadie just
(11:07):
likes me. And so like thenext night, so we had met one
of our fellow boarders, and heactually he's a coordinator and I think he
runs the tours over at it's apenitentiary over in Maryland. Oh shoot,
big one, big one. Anyway, I'll remember it afterwards you put it
(11:28):
in the show notes. And sowe made buddies with him. He was
amazing, and he wanted to jumpin on a ghost ut with us.
So we investigated the downstairs like sittingroom, the parlor area. Man,
we got some amazing evidence. Itwas so active down there, and we
were just down there for a coupleof hours, like I couldn't believe the
(11:50):
stuff that was happening. I'll postthat sometime this summer on my channel because
I want to share that stuff. It was just incredible. Like at one
point I literally thought he was comingdown the stairs to join us. The
stairs have a very particular creak, and so I heard these footsteps coming down
the stairs and I was like,oh, hold on, Lee, hold
(12:13):
on, Lee, Patrick's coming.Don't just keep recording, but let's wait
for him to come down. Andit comes down the stairs, down the
stairs, down the stairs, andright at the foot, like there's a
wall there right at the foot ofthe stairs, the footsteps stop and We're
both just like sitting there in anticipationof Patrick to come around the corner.
We're like, what the Patrick? And so I had to like I got
(12:37):
up and went over and poked myhead around the wall. Nobody's on the
stairs, nobody's there. Like itwas oh, like I'm getting chills thinking
about it because it was so real. And you can hear that on the
tape that we did catch that.So that was like the second night or
like the night before. Yeah, yeah, that was the second night.
Sunday came great, still hadn't heardfrom Sadie, and then we were leaving
(13:00):
Monday morning. And Monday morning,I set my alarm for like five thirty
or something. I wanted to getup early and just like really get going
and be there early at the airport. So I set my alarm for five
thirty and I, you know,I hit snooze, and I'm kind of
dozen in and out, in andout, just kind of doze and I'm
(13:20):
like, yeah, I'll get upin a second dozen and then very distinctly
over at the door, I heara soft woman's voice say bye. My
eyes shot wide open, like itwas like I could distinctly hear it was
just on the other side of Lee. He was laying next to me,
right by the door, like athead height where you would imagine. Bye,
(13:43):
that was it. That was itI heard from Sadie. Yeah,
that's that's awesome. Actually I gotseals thinking you tell him that. So
it's awesome. That is awesome.Thanks. Oh that was your what you're
worth? Fifth investigation? Now,oh gosh, yeah, it's gotta be.
(14:05):
So. I know when we chattedthe first time, you had done
two. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so forth and then we've done too
since we've been here. We investigatedSaint Ignatius and we investigated a post office.
Has that been it? That's beenit? Yeah. So number five,
you're you're getting up there. Yougotta you hadn't quite caught up to
(14:28):
me. Yeah, but you're gettingthere. Man, Now you're you're the
goat. Man. I don't Idon't think I can catch up to that.
Well, I don't. I don'tknow if i've if you mentioned those
other two investigations, you may havein our group chat somewhere along the way.
So anything interested happened in every oneof those, the two recent ones.
(14:50):
The yeah, well I'll tell youthe easy one first, because so
this was the post office, andthe story was a friend of mine works
there, and the story was thatshe it's haunted by this woman and she
doesn't know who she is. She'slike look through the history, you know,
(15:11):
documents and all that. I mean, she thinks she's just like a
patron or whatever, like an oldpatron that just really enjoyed being there and
going through and meeting her, seeingher friends and talking with everybody. So
she calls her the lady. That'sit. So we were there for like
three hours and nothing was happening, like nothing, Like there wasn't any weird
(15:33):
feeling, we weren't getting any EVPs, like the buzzers weren't going off,
nothing, nothing. So I waslike, okay, well let's you know,
I'm getting really tired, it's gettinglate. Let's let's go ahead and
wrap it up and we'll just we'llcheck the tapes tomorrow, you know in
my review. And like on thedrive home, it was so weird,
like I suddenly got this just bangingheadache, like it hurts so bad,
(15:58):
and it just came out of nowhere. I don't get migraines. I rarely
get headaches, and it's like slowlydissipated the further and further we got away
from the post office. So Idon't know if that was, like I
don't know what that is, likeif that's a regular phenomenon, like if
you've ever experienced that, like ifyou have body aches or headaches, like
from a location. I don't know. Usually the only time I would experienced
(16:22):
a headache is if I haven't atemouths throughout the night. That's why we
try to load up on snacks. But huh, I can't recall that ever
happened. I'm not saying it hasn'thappened, but I can't. I don't
know. I don't know. Ijust attributed it to some kind of energy
right that maybe didn't want us there, I don't know, or I soaked
up too much of the energy.I don't know. We would review the
(16:45):
recordings and everything later, and wedid actually capture quite a bit of stuff.
We just didn't know it at thetime. Right now, the other
one Saint Ignacious Hospital. Some peopleto say, skeptical people like to say
that, you know, oh gosh, the hosts and the coordinators there,
they just really really like over exaggerate, like all that's going on there and
(17:08):
they try to trip you out blahblah blah before they set you free in
the building. Now is this isthis an abandoned hospital. This is an
abandoned hospital. It was built backin the late late eighteen hundreds and was
an asylum. And oh wow,I don't know something. It's got a
(17:29):
history, it's got a crazy history. Yeah. So the Saint Ignacious Hospital
in Coullfax, it's been on abunch of shows too. Now what they're
saying with that, like them overexaggerating activity. That might be the case.
That might be the case to someextent, But what we experienced that
night, it most certainly was justgenuinely happening. That's what was happening.
(17:55):
A lot of stuff happened. I'lljust tell you too, Like two of
the most distinct that just just totallystick out for the whole experience because we
were there for like three and ahalf four hours was it three and a
half? I can't remember how longthey let you run around. So the
first experience there is a room ofa past patient who was confined to a
(18:18):
wheelchair at one point. He wasin like this horrible wreck at some point
and he was paralyzed, and hedid not like this. And the story
is that his ghost still haunts hisold room. And when he was alive,
he was not very nice to anynurses because he was just so mad.
He was so mad at what lifehad dealt him. And so in
(18:40):
the afterlife, you know, notmuch has changed. He's still I think
his name was Michael. He's stilla little little monster. But we were
in his room and we had setup a rempod in the window. Now,
if you know anything about Saint Ignatius, there's no electricity in this whole
building, like the clo Cyst.Electricity is like a street lamp, like
(19:03):
across the across the alley way, like right way across. Uh. So
there's no interference like that. Andwe set up this rimpod just in the
window where we thought, well,if you're in a wheelchair, you'd like
to sit, maybe sit by thewindow and look outside at the outside world.
And we just started asking questions, asking questions, and like five minutes
into like maybe talking to the spirit, waiting to see if you would respond,
(19:26):
the rimpod goes way off the charts, just like all the lines,
and so we keep asking questions. It keeps going and like neither. We're
standing across the room just watching thisthing go off, and that really like
I don't know, like affected me. One. I've never used a rimpod
before. I understand the concept behindit, the idea behind like you have
(19:48):
to be somebody has to be aroundit or some kind of electrical interference yep
and uh. And then we talkedfor a little bit more and then we
said goodbye, and it like turnedoff and it didn't go anymore, like
nothing. I don't know, Idon't know how to explain that kind of
activity, like what was affecting thatif not Michael, Okay. So the
(20:11):
other thing. Rose is a veryfamous figure in this hospital. A lot
of investigators love to go specifically forRose, and she was she was an
interesting character. She was like atone point she was like painting the walls
with her pooh and like peeing everywhereand oh no, it was kind a
(20:34):
wild. She was wild but fun. I don't know, she's a fun
character. So we learned about Rose, like first thing, you know,
before we started the investigation, thatthe host told us about Rose, and
you might run into her, youmight smell something. I mean, a
lot of people report different things, and so all night long, we're we're,
you know, up on the topfloor, down in the basement,
(20:56):
all over the place, blah blahblah blah blah, and nothing from Rose.
Like. We actually didn't really knowwhere she was located at that point.
I think either that wasn't told tous or we forgot. She's on
the third floor, I believe thirdor second floor, And so we were
like, okay, let's go backup to where we saw it. We
saw a shadow figure, well wedidn't see shadow there was a shadow figure
(21:18):
earlier that night, So let's goback up to that floor and let's just
walk down and see if we getanything else. So we're back up on
that floor. It's just Lee andI alone on the floor. We're walking
down, like slowly down the hallwaytowards where the shadow figure activity had happened
earlier, and about halfway down thehallway, we suddenly both just stop on
a dime. It was as ifwe had walked right into a wall of
(21:44):
rose perfume and p like, itwas so pungent. Damien and my heart
started raising because it turned on thelight and look to the left. I'm
not even joking. We were rightsmack right at Rose's room, like the
door to her room, and justto run into this wall of something so
(22:08):
physical, a sent like this, because yeah, she I mean, you
proportally will smell rose perfume, youcan smell pee, you can spell pooh,
you know like the stuff. Solike for us to run into that
very specific scent right at Rose's roomwhen we didn't know where we were in
the building, like on the floor, we didn't we were walking around in
the dark, right, And sojust that experience in itself, Nothing really
(22:32):
happened after that. We went intoour room after that and like did some
EVP session, but nothing really happened. But just that specifically has stuck with
me because it was just I don'tknow, it was just a powerful experience,
just another experience of like how oh, how do I explain this?
Right? Where is that coming from? Yeah? Yeah, those phantom smells
are definitely intriguing. I've ran intothat a few times. Just like where
(22:56):
I used to live, none ofus smoked, would randomly get a strong
smell of cigarette smoke, yeah,And I would just kind of chalk that
up to my you know, beingmy aunt, because he was a heavy
smoker. And so that that's it'sreally strange. And to be that specific,
like a perfume mixed with with earin, that's wow mm hmmmm. I
(23:18):
know it's a very specific sense, isn't that. And And for the rim
pod to be going off like youdid, with all the lights going on,
that that's that doesn't happen that often. Normally, when it goes off,
it'll be the red light or thegreen light. For all of them
to go off, that's like thattakes some energy because I don't know because
very rarely have have I been usingour rim pod and all the lights go
(23:42):
off at the same time, nokidding. Normally it's just the red light
and then sometimes you'll hear it beeping, but none of the lights are going
off. And when it's just beepingnormally, that's like it's it's detecting a
temperature change, okay, But forall of them to be going and off,
like I think there's a purple lighton there. I don't think I've
(24:03):
ever seen go off with ours.WHOA, Yeah, that's that's that's pretty
rad. You got to experience that, so that makes it even more of
a just like a crazy powerful experience. I don't know. It was so
infrequent that that happens. I've I've, like I said, I don't think
I've seen it, but maybe oneor two times. We've had our rimpop
(24:25):
for about three years. Okay,so yeah, it's ah, that's that's
pretty wild. Yeah, so thatwas that was saying ignacious. But I
do recommend you go at some point. You'll love it that that it's now
on the bucket list. I thinkI've heard of it. I think I've
seen it on one of the paranormalshows, maybe ghost Hunters. Maybe I
(24:48):
think maybe they've been there. Butuh, because it sounds familiar. So
yeah, you got really really luckyto see that. And uh, speaking
of Lucky house going with him,Lucky has been rehomed. Oh no,
yeah, he now resides at myoffice my place. Okay, yeah,
(25:14):
I remember you tell me that.I thought maybe you gave him to somebody
else. No, no, becauseI do feel a responsibility for Lucky.
As weird as that sounds like, right, it's just a doll, It's
it's just an op. He's madea plastic but I do feel a responsibility
he Boy, it was such astrange start to that relationship, Like I
(25:37):
showed you the video. Yeah, yeah, okay for your audience. My
dogs were going crazy and we wererecording it because I was going to do
like an unveiling of Lucky, anduh, the recording just stopped. It
rose to shut off, no reasonwhy. So that was weird, weird
start. And uh, you know, I had it in my mind when
(25:59):
I got him, because as theperson who had given him to me said
that, you know, some weirdstuff is gonna be certain to happen here,
so you just best be careful andbe respectful to Lucky. Right.
It's like, okay, okay, you know what, I in my mind,
I'm gonna make up my mind thatyou know what, this doll isn't
bad, it's not mischiefous. It'sit's Lucky. It's it's a good omen.
It'll be my good Omen. It'llbe my Lucky Charm had a mere
(26:22):
for about a week, I think, after I unveiled him on the on
the Beer Booze and Boogeyman and beforehe was moved, because within that week
I was having some strange I hada strange like thing with my phone,
like it went on do not disturb, just all by itself. One night
I was like flooded with a bunchof missed messages. The next morning,
(26:45):
I was like, what the hellis going on? Another time? Oh,
I asked Lucky again with the respect. I asked, Lucky, would
you be in my video about hauntedelectronics? You gotta let me know.
And right at that moment, Igot a text message like and I took
that as a sign, you know. I was like, Okay, I'm
not gonna mess with that. I'lluse another doll and then the tipping point.
(27:07):
So I have two dogs, twocats, and they are my life.
They are my world. And Iwas out of town for just one
night. I was coming back thenext morning, and that night, while
I was four hours away, Ireceived word that one of my cats had
gotten out. I am in Coyoteville. Coyote Ville, and like, I
(27:30):
dropped everything, and I came righthome and we could not find her.
Couldn't find her for the life ofus. Thankfully, I won't bore you
with the horrible details and the sobbing, but thankfully she was found twenty four
hours later, uneaten by coyotes.Little dirty, little stinky. But she
(27:52):
is now safely back home. That'sgood. But I was sitting here thinking
about it. I was like, boy, this has been really weird.
It's like been one thing after anotherafter another since Lucky came into my home.
But if if he had anything todo with my cat, just mysteriously
escaping like that, that is thatis too far. I don't you have
(28:12):
a I don't. Yeah, Idon't. I don't care. I got
to read home. H I gotto get him out of here. If
he has, if his energy hasanything to do with it, he's got
to go. So so, yeah, he's at my office now, and
he seems happier. There's not weirdstuff happening at the office. Everything is
fine here at my home now,so he seems happier. I'm going to
(28:34):
retract that statement because you did saythe other day you had an Alexa going
off in your office next door.Oh you know what though, No,
I did figure it out. Ohdid you figure it out? Yes?
Yes, I guess maybe I've neverheard it do this before, but it
was like it seems to be connectedto the person's schedule, like their Google
(28:55):
calendar. So I caught it again, Yeah, because it did it again
last time. I was there yesterdayand that did it again in the morning,
I was like, what is itsaying? What is this saying?
And I ran over to our officereal quick and I heard it like repeat
itself and uh and it was itwas saying, like, you know,
there's a work order do in halfan hour. I was like, oh,
(29:15):
okay, that makes more sense.Okay, so that's den that is
debunked. That's good to know becauseI remember you had asked me if if
I wanted lucky and I was like, yeah, you know, if I
was single, i'd probably take itoff your hands. But you know,
yeah, well, I mean he'llhe'll be around for a while, so
(29:37):
he sees he's always on the table. So we're gonna we're gonna dive into
something that uh, you know, has brought four people really close together all
the last six or seven months. At the end of season number three,
(30:00):
was it three? Yeah? Ithink season number three, I did another
paranormal roundtable. I had you onas a I guess the panelist whatever you
want to call it, a debater, I don't know, and Gil was
on, and of course a coupleother you know, past guests. But
that was the first time you twohad actually met. And I remember after
(30:22):
the show after we recorded, Gilwas a message He's like, dude,
Christ's cool as fuck, you know, blah blah blah. I was like,
yes, it's pretty rad, dude, you know. And uh so
you two hit it off after thatrecording, and uh, y'all, y'all
came pretty good friends. And likeyou said, me and Gil had become
pretty good friends before that, meand you had talked quite a bit.
And I discussed this with Gil andJoey last week when I when I recorded
(30:51):
with them, Gil's remembering of itis a little different than mine, and
I'm like, well, you know, we would have to go through all
the messages and that's a lot.I initially thought it was my idea to
do a three show with all threeof us, and he was like,
well, no, you know,we were trying to get you to come
back, and I threw out theidea of a call in show, and
(31:14):
then I messaged Kristen to try toto try to kind of nudge you along,
and then I just started the groupchat and it just kind of grew
from there and you were like,so when are we doing this? And
I was think, remember that's howit happened. But you know, our
eternal group Chat has now developed intoa monthly live podcast, and Gil somewhat
(31:34):
jokingly, you know, came upwith the name. He just tossed it
out there and I was like,actually, that's really that's a really neat
name. And he was like,I was like, we should go with
that. And and of course, you know, Joey got brought in on
episode number two. And you know, over the last seven months, you
know, all you guys have I'vebecome really close to you guys. You'a
were like my main group of friends. There was my friends here. I
(31:56):
don't talk to that much anymore.Just life happens and this is how it
is sometimes. So you know,y'all have kept me sane, you know,
this past year. So uh so, let's let's talk a little bit
about B three, about beer Boosand Boogieman. What is your recollection recollection
of how this actually started? Ohman, Okay, See, my brain
(32:21):
is fuzzy as to who actually whowas the instigator of what would become beer
Boos and Boogeyman. I do knowI agree with Gil that at that time
because he and I were going backand forth like we we wanted to help
you, like we were trying topush you. You remember trying to push
you. You know what, Juststart a start a call in show,
(32:42):
start to start a live show.Just do it like once once, weak
and it'll be easy. You don'teven have to prepare blah blah blah.
And so I know he and Iwere like, we're talking about that a
couple of times, like, Okay, how do how do we encourage Damien
to just get back into the saddle. He's got to do it? And
then how in the heck did itmorph into suddenly, Okay, we're all
(33:04):
doing a show together. Now,this'll be fun. Yeah, because Joey
hadn't popped into it yet. Butuh yeah, and then I don't remember.
I'll have to go back in themessages and see how in the heck
did that actually happen. It's likemagic, right, and and it and
I was I don't remember what Iwas searching for this morning. I was
(33:29):
searching through the group chat. AndI think this initially started like developing back
in like December of last year.It did. Yeah, yeah, well,
you know it's it's interesting because soI had been chatting with Gil just
about like like I would tell himevery now and then like, man,
(33:51):
you know, I am dying todo a live stream, like I want
to do like just a live streamfor PGP. I don't know what to
do here. Some ideas I'm thinkingabout launching at the first of the year,
launching something extra, something new,but like, I don't want to
do any extra worklick. It's it'sa lot already. I got a lot
on my plate, so it hasto be something I can just turn the
(34:14):
live on and go. And Ithink he was telling me, like even
months before that that he and Joeywere considering doing some kind of life like
at some point like and so hewas like, Okay, well, well
we're gonna we're thinking about starting somethingat the at the first of the show.
Hey, you want to be ourguest auditor, whatever you want to
come on. Sometimes I'm like, yeah, cool, that'd be great.
(34:35):
So that was already kind of inin rolling before even before December. And
then yeah, and then that ideastarted formulating in December, like hey,
all three of us, like Damienneeds to be doing this, We're already
thinking about doing this, like let'sdo a Collin show. You already threw
out the idea of a Collin show, Let's do it. Yeah, yeah,
(35:00):
so it was. It was inthe in the works like well before
that first one, right, andit's it's been really fun and it feels
like to me at least, ithas been well received. Up until the
last episode we got you know, interrupted, uh the power outage of YouTube
or whatever the hell happens. Andbut yeah, it's been it's been fun
(35:23):
and uh, we've all had somepretty interesting stories, and we've had some
interesting calls, which one, whatyou're thinking of Bigfoot? You are thinking
of big but I know, ohand now I forget And now that you
(35:45):
sent the audio the other day,I was like, I need to go
back and listen to that. Soeven oh gosh, anyway, So,
so, did you foresee this lastingas long as it has so far?
Do the what g force? Whatdo? What? Huh? Say that
(36:07):
again? I don't I don't evenknow what I said? Even boo me
off track? Did you foresee thislasting as long as it has? The
three? Foresee this that? Yes? Yes, from that first episode,
dude, I am not even lying. That was it kind of reminded me
(36:29):
of like back in my actor days. There was just this really special thing
that happened. As unprepared as youfelt, you were like worried about missing
lines, you were worried how theaudience was going to react as soon as
you stepped on stage, and therewas like this magic with the audience that
just kind of took over and yousuddenly like you go into this blind world
where you're just like, okay, character, now I'm on stage. This
(36:52):
is fun. I don't even seethe audience anymore. This is it's magical.
It's a weird feeling to describe. That is what it felt like that
first episode. And it like assoon as we hit cut, I was
like, damn, that was agood show. We got something really good
here. And I had no ideagoing into it. I knew I was
(37:14):
gonna have fun. We were goingto tell stories, We're gonna do all
the fun things about paranormal shows thatI want to do. We're going to
try this call in feature, seehow it goes awesome. There was a
lot of unknowns when we were headinginto that episode, but it just worked,
and it worked beyond even my expectations. So at that point, like
as soon as that first episode,I was like, this is this can
(37:37):
go places. I truly believe thateven even today, it just keeps getting
better and better and better. Wemake little tweaks here and there, we
keep growing. We're growing the group, and I just foresee it, bar
any unforeseen just craziness, I justforesee it continuing to go. I can't
(37:59):
wait to see where we are thistime next year. Well we can.
We can talk about the growing becausewhen this episode airs, that growing with
have I already been now? Yeah? So yeah, you know, we
had talked about bringing in a fifthmember, and actually I don't think we
talked about it. Somebody approached us, and you know, we were all
on board and that didn't work outfor for reasons. And and then Gil
(38:23):
was like, hey, you know, I know this other guy blah blah
blah. He's got a large following, he does this, does that.
What would you think about that? And I was like, yeah, you
know, as long as there's nostuff like the last person, I was
like, let's let's give it ashot. And we were all on board
and met with him. You know, seemed like a pretty chill dude.
(38:45):
I'm excited to get him on.Like I said, when this episode airs,
are we bringing him on for episodesix or or is he starting after
I believe he, well, hewould have been on it with us for
episode six, okay, right, yeah, yes, I do believe that
is the plan, that he's gonnajump on that stream with it. It's
(39:07):
so weird to talk about back then. It's talking about the future, but
in the past we are. Weare in the okay anyway, brain Uh
so yeah, yeah, but goahead with the with the with the growth
and the right and so now we'vealso are going to be doing a weekly
show co Paranormal Happy Hour, andI think we again, I think the
(39:32):
first one will have already been done, but this comes out. But uh,
I think we have discussed the firstone. We're going to try to
do all of us and then eachweek it it'll just be two of us,
sometimes maybe three of us. I'mjust kind of how our schedules work
out, and uh, it's gonnabe you know, basically like beer Booze
and Boogeyman, but shorter and Ithink we're gonna try a few different things
(39:54):
with that and just kind of seehow it goes and uh hopefully, you
know, we get some sponsorship dealsout of this too. So gosh,
absolutely, if there if there isany show that is just primed for certain
sponsorships. And you know what I'mtalking about beer companies, paranormal beer companies,
(40:16):
paranormal coffee companies, which by noweverybody's video will be out for our
unboxing videos of that par normally themedcoffee company. Yeah, that kind of
like it's just it's just right forthe picking for us. And then like
to add on to that, likethis extra layer that I don't see a
(40:36):
lot on other paranormal shows that Ithink gives us a little bit of an
edge. Technically it's a comedy show. It's a comedy paranormal show, and
you just don't see that too terriblymuch Like everybody's so serious, right,
there is serious moments when people aretearing their stories, but like kind of
in between calls, you know,we're just bullshitting like we do in the
(40:58):
group chat, you know, andthen you're gonna occasionally get stories like the
big Foot dick stories. So yeah, I had to say it. I
did. I had to. Ihad to, so, but uh,
you know, it's it's been reallyfun. And as far as the sponsorship,
I don't even care if we gotpaid for it. I just want
like free paranormal beer because I can'tfind anything where I live. I know,
(41:22):
it's such a travesty, like youwould think Tennessee in the state,
the whole state, you could findsomething like you get y'all got good beer
there? Like where where's the paranormalstuff? Whe's the fun stuff? I'm
guessing I would have to go tolike Nashville, like bigger than from where
I'm at. But where I live, I've checked literally every single convenience store,
(41:43):
liquor store around my area, andI got lucky and found the UFO
beer at a grocery store the lasttime, and uh yeah, it's it's
it's been super disappointing, and uhwell, I'm free to start breaking out
the hard liquors and just throwing somethingtogether and be like this is a ghost
(42:06):
fart, this is angel feats, right, So yeah, I mean I
might have to and just just makeour my own concoction. Hey you know
what, and then we can offerthat as maybe like a segment or extra
content Damien's menu and for adding yourvarious drink concoctions to it. That'd be
(42:28):
fae. So all right, Soyou mentioned earlier that you're about to wrap
up season six, and you're goingto take a little bit of a break.
So what's what's the plan for thereturn, like when you plan on
returning full time? So season sevenis going to lunch September third, It's
the first Tuesday of September. Ibelieve that is the date. And the
(42:51):
topic next season is going to beghosts and hauntings. That is that is
going to keep me busy for awhile. And I got to have you
back on, you know that, right, Like that's already unsaid thing.
I gotta have you back on.I was gonna ask that. I was
like, when are you gonna haveme back on? You know? But
it's right, Damien, No,yeah, no, you're you're You're on
(43:13):
my short list here. But yeah, I'm you know, I keep having
some just really random ideas. Ijust want to go so deeply into this
subject just fast as that people don'ttalk about all that much. I just
want to explore all of it.And this is the problem I often run
into as I overwhelmed myself right atthe start, like I'm gonna do this
and this and this and then I'mgoing to do this. But I think,
(43:37):
you know, so long as Ipaced myself don't burn myself out.
There's plenty of really interesting parts tothe ghost phenomenon that uh, that can
be explored every week. And I'mjust I'm so thrilled to be at this
point in the show where I feelconfident enough to tackle a subject like this.
You know, I'm not a paranormalinvestigator. I don't you know,
(43:59):
I don't know what like you knowit, but I'm ready. I want
to talk about ghost lights and equipmentand Japanese ghosts and I want to talk
about it right exactly. And andyou're a you're a paranomal investigator in training
because you do have a few underyour belt. And as I still really
want to do a location of allof us there, do do a live
(44:22):
show and then investigate afterwards and maybe, like I said, stop a few
hours in and record some more andmaybe that'll be like a bonus episode or
something. And yeah, like alike if for what I've already got a
location in mind, Like if thatwould be perfect if we could all I
(44:45):
mean, it sounds bad for me, so I'm already in Tennessee. So
but you know, it's it's threefloors, it's the Stork Scott kind of
jail. You know, Yes,I would love to go there, you
know, and they have Wi Fi, so that's they have electricity, So
they have Wi Fi. So Iknow that wouldn't be an issue, because
I think that would be the biggestissue we would all run into if we
(45:07):
did it separately somewhere. It's findinga location that has Wi Fi, right,
and because a lot of these locations, especially if they're empty, don't
have electricity, so they're definitely notgoing to have Wi Fi. So I'm
like, man, I think thisplace would be perfect. We could set
you know, if all five ofus were able to go, you could
have two set up on the thirdfloor kind of spaced out, somebody in
(45:29):
the middle, and then somebody downon the first floor. And I just
it'd be like a perfect setup, like you could all be spaced out,
and that it's big enough to whereif there's two people on the floor,
one person could be at wood endand one person could be at the other
you shouldn't really blend into each other. I don't know, I just think
it would. But I called DIBson the second floor. Is this the
(45:52):
location you locked Josh in a coffin? No, he hasn't been locked in
a coffin. What am I remembering? You told me something about we we
we were saying if we ever cameto a location that had a coffin in
it, he was willing to layin the one. Okay, all right,
(46:13):
but no, all right. Thehistoric Scott County Jail is where we
captured the picture flying off the wall, right, Yes, which we talked
about when you were first on myshow. That's awesome. I would love
to do that. Yeah, Ithink you did. You throw out this
idea originally, whoever it was,This idea makes my heart sing. We
(46:34):
would all be meeting in person forthe first time, which is crazy to
me. I think that was Gil'sthought. He was like, I'm more
excited just to meet you guys inperson. Yeah, of course, you
know that would be the more importantthing, because we haven't met each other,
even though it feels like we havebecause we talk damn near every day,
even it's just for a couple ofminutes in the group chat. And
(47:00):
the only thing I hate about ifwe did it there is how far you
would have to travel, and Ihate that part. Just fly into Nashville
can't be that bad. I'm surethere's a straight one, no, no
stops. I don't know. I'llhave to check it out. So but
like in my head, I'm thinkingwe did something like that. I was
like, I'd love to do itaround Halloween. Oh so, man,
(47:23):
I bet that place gets so bookedout though for Halloween. You think they
do stay pretty booked, but likenot to the point where like, shit,
we got to book this a yearand a half in advance, So
like I could probably get on theirwebsite right now, they probably have dates
in October, and I'm sure becausethere is dates they black out because you
(47:45):
know, they go to conventions. The ladies who own it, they go
to conventions and they do investigations. So I'm sure if like there was a
date blacked out that it was like, look, I was like, this
is the only day that works forus. Is any way we could still
do this because this is what wehave in my did I'm sure we could
probably make it work one way oranother. But that's the location I had
(48:07):
in mind, because, like Isaid, the biggest issue I think we're
going to run into is a placewith WiFi. Okay, so because because
I know they haven't because they livestream their podcast there every week on Facebook.
So m hmm, yeah, no, man, I'm down. I
am down. Let's I'm down forthe jail. Let's do that. See
(48:29):
what Gil says, Let's just makethe decision for him right now and then
surprise him with a with a toelike Gil, we've already decided this.
You need to be here on thisstage. And Jonathan, I forgot Jonathan's
got Jonathan, it's got a longway to come to. Uh. He's
well, he's in Mountain Time.I'm not sure where no wait he yeah
(48:51):
yeah, Mountain Time too far fartherthan him, So I would be traveling
the farthest out of anybody. That'sokay for you, for you to me
in, I'll do that. I'lldo that. Well, I mean,
if you're on board, let's uh, I'll toss that out in the group
chat here and a little bit andsee if we can't do it this year,
maybe we can plan to do itlike early next year. Because they're
open your round because they have heat, they have air, so that would
(49:15):
be an issue either or some ofthese of these locations where if they do
have electricity and Wi Fi, theymay not have heat or air. Yeah,
yeah, so that would be alittle yeah, yeah, yeah,
So all right, anyway, sohow can people follow you listen to you

the socials that she just mentioned, and give her a listen. She's she's
she's really good. She she doesthe work for her show and it's really
(52:07):
and I'm guilty and I told Gilenjoy this. I've listened to your show
several times, but I don't havea lot of free times that just sit
and listen to stuff, so Ihave listened to quite a few episodes,
and uh, it's it's really wellput together. And I think your acting
background has is part of that.Like you're you're so articulate and well spoken,
(52:28):
and you don't stutter a lot asto where I stumble over myself at
times. And uh but uh,anyways, thank you again. Everybody go
listen to her, and uh,Kristen, thank you all right, thank
