Now this probably confused Roman reader,since Lucifer was a Roman god at the

But because they're so stuck on theBible being ultimate reality, which is
what Orthodoxy is, right, theBible is ultimate reality right there, they
had to figure out how to putall this together. So they said,

whatever. Well, this has tomake sense. But you have to remember
these are scholars with Orthodoxy Christian backgrounds. That means they have an agenda.

a whole bunch of writers started sayingthe same thing. Gregory the Theologian

the devil with Isaiah's description of Lucifer. Writing in the fourth century. For
example, this guy declared, thenature of the divine essence is than above
