The railroad underpass on South Kollett Street Slash four Demanda
Road remains closed this morning. The closure became necessary when
a semi truck got stuck underneath the underpass yesterday morning.
The City of Lima has now closed that underpass to
allow CSX time to conduct a safety inspection of the

railroad bridge. The duration of the closure is undetermined. We've
learned more about a Wednesday night triple murder, suicide, and Tiffin.
Police say that a woman was removing personal items from
her home following multiple domestic issues when her husband, forty
two year old Ryan Egan arrived armed at the scene,

Egan fatally shot both the seven month old son he
shared with the victim and the woman's seven year old son,
before fatally shooting the woman's ex who had come to
help her move. Egan then turned the gun on himself.
Ohio House Bill two forty seven, known as Avery's Law,
has passed both the Ohio House and Senate and will

soon be headed to the Governor's desk. Back in June
of twenty twenty four, Avery was attacked by two pitbulls
during a playdate at a friend's house. The attack left
her in a coma and resulted in the loss of
both ears. Avery's law will increase the minimum jail time
for owners whose dogs attack from thirty days to six months.

The law will also grant additional authority to animal control
officers and dog wardens. Federal investigators have released a preliminary
report on the crash of the UPS flight in Louisville.

The report includes still images from an airport surveillance video
showing the left engine and pylon separating from the wing
as the plane began to take off from Runway seventeen R.
A fire ignited on the engine as it flew above
the fuselage and then landed on the ground. The NTSB
reports as investigators found evidence of fatigue cracks in addition

to areas of overstressed failure on parts of the pylon
that attaches the engine to the wing. There were no
missed inspections or scheduled maintenance. Fourteen people were killed in
the crash, three crew members and eleven people on the ground.
A final report with a probable cause of the crash
is not expected for at least a year.

More Proskeuter say fifty year old Lawrence Reid had multiple
prior cases over the last three decades. At the time
he allegedly doused a woman with gasoline and set her
on fire Monday while riding a city train in Chicago,
well more than forty nine arrest including ten thelony cases
for crimes ranging from battery and assault to aggravated arson.

Reid was already on pre trial release for an aggravated
battery case for violently hitting a social worker. Prosecutors asked
