An Indiana woman was killed in a crash in Putnam
County yesterday morning. It happened at just before eleven o'clock
on US two twenty four in State Route sixty six
near Ottoville. The Lima Post of the Highway Patrol says
that seventy two year old Dorothy Smith of Anderson, Indiana,
was driving a Honda SRV eastbound on two twenty four,

was driving a Ford Van southbound on State Route sixty six.
Patten failed to stop at a stop sign and struck
Smith's Honda. Smith's vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.
Patten's vehicle also went off the road. Dorothy Smith was
pronounced dead at the scene. Seventy two year old Nathan Smith,
