red starting pitchers went a total of two and a
third innings, Cincinnati needed a strong start last night from
the newly acquired Zach Latel, and the veteran provided it.
He went seven innings, allowing just three hits in one
run as the Reds posted a five to one win
at Wrigley over the Cubs. Cincinnati broke a one to

one tie with four of the seventh, three of them
coming on a home run by Spencer Steer. After the game,
Reds manager Terry Francona commented on the good effort from
starting pitchers, Zach Lttel.
