ABOUT THE GUEST:  

Sharrell Page is a dedicated nursing student at Samuel Merritt University, currently in the second semester of her junior year, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With a diverse academic foundation that includes African American Studies and Social Science, she is preparing for a future career in nursing. Sharrell has consistently maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout her studies, most recently achieving a 3.9 GPA, earning her a spot on the Dean’s List.   She is an active member of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) through the California Bay Area Black Nurses Association (BABNA) chapter and is in the process of becoming a member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated, Lambda Chi Chi Beta chapter, an organization committed to "service for humanity."   Sharrell’s professional experience spans customer service and personal wellness, with a particular focus on cosmetology and self-care, bridging her passion for healthcare and nursing. After earning her BSN, she intends to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. She is deeply committed to promoting holistic health, particularly for individuals within the African diaspora, and believes in the importance of addressing all aspects of well-being for true healing.   Sharrell's goal is to restore compassion to healthcare and to address healthcare disparities by ensuring that every individual feels valued and included in their care.
