Lucis mcdoud eisode Love that again andup the standing the ride, rise,

(00:21):
all up the standing, dear ridwell, good evening everybody. It is

(00:46):
now time to get on at theorders of the days. The Lucius McDowell
Even Right Podcast. Want to welcomeeach and every one of you to the
show tonight. I'm excited because againyou know, we're gonna jump off with
the Word of God as it pertainsto live in and right. We're gonna
be talking about again this subject matterof walking in the spirit. So they

(01:07):
need the food of the students totonight we're gonna deal with the food of
ease. And I'm telling you, guys, giving us a piece that uh
the pats is all understanding. Andbecause it's given us that piece, we
are to walk in it. I'mso excited tonight because even as we jump
into the word tonight, we alwaysare reminded of what we believe and what

(01:30):
we teach because and this then allyou gotta say it. You gotta put
it in the atmosphere because if youdon't say it, somebody will say something
for you probably won't represent who youare. So let's represent who we are
tonight. I'm representing that by theword of God and everything that I say,
and that we're gonna back it upwith the word of God. And
if we back it up with theword of God, we're gonna get it
in our spirit, and not justget in our spirit. Were gonna live

(01:53):
it. We're gonna live it.We're gonna live it. We're gonna live
it because God want us to liveright in deed, last and find how
do you know that you know we'reliving in perilous times, And because we
are living in perils of times, darkness have covered the earth and throw darkness
to people. I want you tounderstand. This is living in the last

(02:13):
days, and these last days ofparent less. Let me tell you this
divider says that men shall be loversofs and own selves, compashus, boasters,
proud plastomers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unfolding with our natural affections,
truth breakers, false accusers, andconfidence. Here despises of those that
are do to traders, heady headed, ooh, bighead, high minded,

(02:36):
lovers of pleasures more than lovers ofGod. In fact, this last part
having a form of godlasness, butdenying the power. They're such turn away
from I like first numbers us foreverlearning and never able to come to the
knowledge of the truth. And I'mtelling you right now, we got to
come to this place where we don'twant to be in that category. Don't

(02:58):
want to be listed in those scripturesbecause it doesn't represent those who are humpy
for God. It doesn't represent thosewho want to live right and do the
right thing. I just want tojust challenge the night and say that,
you know, as we continue towalk in this thing called living rights,
we want to make sure that weare aligning ourselves with the Word of God.
So open Second Timothy, the thirdchapter, the sixteenth. First,

(03:21):
it's just all scripture is given byinspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for corrections, forinstructions, and righteousness. Verse seventeen
says that the Man of God maybe perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good
works. In other words, thatthe Man of God may be matured.

(03:43):
Say, we got to come intothis place of maturity because there comes a
time where you know, you wantto bore than just eat, you know,
the milk. But we want toget the need of that word,
because we get that need of theword man, it begins to help us
to live. It helps us tolive and overcome areas of heart ship,
to help us to fight the fight, a good fight of faith and finish
our course. I mean, ithelps us to move forward in the very

(04:06):
things that God is required us todo. So you gotta get you gotta
eat good. And said when youeat good that music, you know you
eat good, you end up doinggood. And I'm standing from this perspective,
get that word in you eat yourspirit, each your spirit, because
in your feature spirit, you willbegin to develop the relationship with the Holy
Ghost that God really wants us todevelop, you know properbs to fourth chapter

(04:29):
the seventh verse, it teaches usthat wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore
get with us them wow and withall that getting get understanding. You know,
I was a part of the churchthat one of the slogan was and
all that he didn't get understanding,Well, let me tell you. They
used to unwraple that word. Theyused to put that word before us.
And I'm telling you, just gettinginto that word in the mid week services,

(04:50):
in the in the weekend services,it was a trumendous blessing because what
it got us discipline so that wewere able to have and intake. You
see, how to develop an appetitefor the Word of God. And just
like you develop an appetite to eatall that crazy fruit and you're gonna say
crazy for the food that is notgood for you. You got to learn
how to detop. You got tolearn how to get to that place where

(05:13):
you have discipline that you will notallow those things that you're putting in you
to actually kill you. Can youimagine that you can just eat the Word
just like you was eating natural food. How powerful, how great you would
see as a man or a womana God. Yeah, I'm talking about
you to that because I want youto get to the point where you need
to get on a diet. Youneed to on a diet with the food

(05:36):
to eat, but you need tobegin to increase the speruital food that goes
into your system. You need theWord of God each end every day.
So if I get you over toyour flash, let me go ahead and
just help you get the crucibi thefass so that you know we continue to
walk according to what the Word ofthe Lord is saying. So let's jump
into the teacher tonight because God allowedto give you, and we're praying that

(05:58):
you are ready, ready, readyto seed over. In Glatians to fifth
chapter, it says in the sixteenthverse, it's if this I say,
then walk in the spirit, andye shall not fulfill the lust of the
flesh. For the flesh lust isagainst the spirit, and the spirit against
the flesh. And these are contrarythe one to the other. That you

(06:20):
cannot do the things that you wouldif you be led of the spirit.
You're not under the law. You'renot under the law because the law could
not do what Jesus Christ has done. Jesus died on the cross, so
that we now have the seed ofthe food of the Spirit on the inside
of us. In in every seed, according to the word of the Lord,

(06:40):
it produces after each kind its ownkind. So that means that if
the seed has been planning in me, that means as I nurture it,
as I order it, as Icultivated, it will grow, and I'll
end up growing into a great vesselof God, praise the Lord. Like
verse number twenty two, it says, but the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

(07:06):
meekness temperance. Against such there isno law. And they that are in
Christ have crucified the flesh with theaffections and love. So goes the verse
twenty five and six that we livein the spirit, let us also walk
in the spirit. So we're gonnalive there, and let us walk there.
And I'm telling when we walk there, we're gonna see better results in

(07:28):
our lives. I want you tounderstand that tonight we're gonna be dealing with
this subject matter of the fruits ofpeace. We talked about love. We
talk about ther God bay love.Talked about the joy of the Lord being
to your strength. We talked aboutthat. You know, with that joy,
nobody can't take it because it isthe joy that the Lord has given
unto you. And I want youto know that this peace that we're talking

(07:50):
about tonight, in difficult situations, the Holy Spirit also gives us supernatural peace.
Notice the Holy Spirit also aid usto love. You know, the
scripture says over in Romans the fifthchapter that the love of God has been
shared abroad in our hearts by thepower of the Holy Ghost. And if
you go back and look over andlook at the joy pieces for the joy

(08:13):
of the Lord is our strength. That means that the Holy Spirit there is
big on the inside the us,has caused us to be increased, to
be grace, to do those things, and to stand and have that joy
even when sadness and all that otherstuff try to come our way. We're
not moved because only joy can todeal with the most difficult situations around us.

(08:35):
And we are so grateful to Godthat you know that you know just
tells us that joy isn't our humanbased happiness and that comes and goes.
Rather, true joy is produced bythe grace of God, and it manifests
itself, particularly in hard time.So let me tell you something, even
today, if you had a heartmoment, just what you still God joy

(08:56):
the lower to God. Even today, if you had a lot of virginity,
if somebody came and challenge you inways like that before, you still
can walk in the love of God. Why because the Holy Spirit gives you
the power to overcome in all theareas that you cannot win in yourself.
That's why you gotta always remember that. You know, it's not by might

(09:18):
nor by power, but it's bythy Spirit saves the Lord. It's the
Holy Ghost that lives big on theinside of you, and it's the Holy
Spirit that will continue to give youeverything that you have need of. So
in difficult situations, the Holy Spiritalso gives us what we call supernatural heats.

(09:39):
He again, is a fruit ofthe spirit, and it is a
fruit that rises up in us deeplyto enable us to be rocks in the
middle of terrible, terrible situation, terrible storms, and also threatens to disrupt,
you know, when things are tryingto disrupt our harmony that God has
provided. And this, y'all rightonto this because the words peace it comes

(10:03):
from the Greek words irene areene ei r e n e irene a,
the Greek equipment for the Hebrew wordshaloon. It expresses the idea of wholeness,
completeness, or tranquility in the soulthat is unaffected by outward circumstance of

(10:24):
pressures. Oh, my goodness,I'll say it one more time. This
word it expresses the idea of wholeness. I want to be whole, completeness,
I want to be complete, ortranquility in the soul that is unaffected
by the outward circumstance or pressures.Now. The word shalom also indicates that

(10:45):
this dominating peace ultimately gives rise toprosperity in one's soul. So, rather
than align with difficulties and pressures oflife to break you and have a person
who is possessed by irene is theperson that is possessed by peace is whole.
They are stable, they are polished, polished for the blessings of God

(11:07):
to come on in life. AndI just want you to make that confession
nut to night. I'm hold tonight, I'm stable tonight, i am pull
poised for the blessings of the Lordto come upon my life. I want
you to understand that this is somethingthat you gotta You gotta tap into and
and and make and meditate on thosethings to make sure that you are doing

(11:28):
and you are living in those realmsof what God has promised you. Now,
God has promised to the believers peace, and I want you to understand
that peace gently is. Hey.I'm going to read a couple of scriptures
because I really want you to getreally excited about what has been given unto
you. Over in Psalm's verse numberof stands the number four and eight stands
the number four number four stands thenumber eight. It says, I will

(11:52):
both lay me down in peace,in peace and sleep, for Thou Lord
only maketh me dwell in safety. If nobody want to go to bed feeling
uneasy, I want to have thepeace of dying in my life because I
need to sleep good at night.Praise the Lord over. In Luke the
first chapter seven and eighth verse,it says, through the tender mercies of

(12:13):
our God, whereby the day springsfrom on igh has visited us to give
light to them that sit in darknessand in the shadow of death, to
guide our feet into the way ofpeace. Our feet, our footsteps have
been guided by the way of peacenow over. In Lucasacon, chapter thirteen
and fourteen verses says, and suddenlythere was with the Angel of Multitude of

(12:37):
the heavenly Host, praising God andsaying glory to God in the highest and
on earth peace, peace, peace, peace, that calm moment, peace,
peace, peace, that time ofbeing stable, peace, piece,
that time being poised for blessings. And I know that this is very interesting
that we want wholeness, we wantcompleteness, we want tranquility, regardless of

(13:00):
what is going on in our life, whatever is going on around us so
much so that it is unaffected byout with circumstances or precious Ooh, I'll
tell you, we got to getthis thing down packed over. In Romans,
Glory to God became through the sixthverse. He says, for the
beef currently minded is dead, butto be spiritually minded is life and peace,

(13:24):
life and peace. Romans of fourteenchapters of seventeen Versus says, for
the Kingdom of God is not meetnor drink, but righteousness and peace and
joy in the Holy Ghost is inthe Holy Ghost. We get that joy
in the Holy Ghost, and weget that peace in the Holy Ghost.
Glory to God, hallelujah. SoI want you to understand these are things
that God is saying in his wordconcerning peace. But I want to show

(13:48):
you also where God has promised peaceto all believers. So if you are
born again, I want you tounderstand that God never intended for your heart
to be troubled. God always intendedfor you operate in the spirit of peace.
And I'm telling you, if youdon't have peace based on whatever is
troubling you, I want you tolive according to the Word of God tonight.

(14:09):
So over in Psalms number twenty ninestands the number eleven the word of
the Lord Resu says, the Lordwill give strength unto his people. We
are the people of God. Amen. So he's gonna give us to spend
house because he's spent by the powerof this holy ghost. And he says,
the Lord will bless his people withpeace. Now, come on,
they'll let you know that God neverintended for you to go to bed in

(14:31):
trouble. God never intended for youto wake up in the morning burden.
As if you cannot go the nextmile of the way. God wants you
to not only go the next milelof the way, He wants you to
finish your course in faith any timethat you get over until place where your
trouble, and that's confusion, it'schaoticness all around you. To let you
know that you're not walking in peace. And we are believers. We must

(14:54):
receive. We must receive what Godhas promised. All of the promises of
God are yes and amen. Andbecause there yes and amen, grab a
hold of the gravel, Hold ofthe gravel, hold of it. Now
God gives us an abundance over inPsalms number one nineteen stands the number one
sixty five. It says, greatpiece, how they which love Thy law

(15:15):
and nothing shall offend them? Greatpiece. That means it's a mega a
mega a mega's muggles border. Peaceis for those who love the law.
And the reason why you got thatgreat love for God is because you know
what the Word says. You're notoperating in your mind and in your intellect,
but it says, and nothing shalloffend them. Why because you have

(15:37):
loved the Word, you're going tooperate by that love. And because you're
doing those things, you will havegreat peace. Okay, they're a profession
in this piece. Over in theIsaiah the twenty six chapter, the third
verse is, if thou will keephim in perfect peace, whose mind is
faded on thee because he trusted inthe I will trust in the Lord.

(15:58):
And still like that, and tellthem what trusting, Because if I'm gonna
have peace, if I keep mymind staying on him, he's gonna keep
me. Oh my goodness, heis the keeper the gro the words.
If thou will keep him in perfectpeace, whose mind is stayed on thee
because he trusted in deep I likethis because pieces even promised to believe it's
pace, because it comes up likea river over in Isaiaha forty eight,

(16:22):
chapter the eighteen verse, it's just, oh, that THU has heartened to
my commandments. Then had the peace? Then, had thy peace been as
a river, and thy righteousness asthe ways of the sea. That's powerful.
That is powerful. He's saying,if you harkened to the commandments,
then had thy peace then as ariver. That means that that river is

(16:45):
gonna be calm, That river's gonnabe flowing and it's never gonna stop.
And thy righteous is gonna be asthe ways of the sea. And when
I think about the ways of thesea, boring, the ways go in
and they come out. They goin and they come out, And he
never stopped going in and coming out. Now there is a legacy that God
Jesus Christ has given on us whenhe died on the cross. John fourteenth

(17:06):
twentyt That says, peace, Ileave with you my peace. I give
with you my peace. I giveunto you. Not if the world give
it, give eye onto thee.It says, let not your heart be
troubled, neither let it be afraidthat not your heart be trouble, and
neither let it be afraid. Nowover a sad John in sixteenth chapter the

(17:29):
thirty third versus is these things whichI have spoken unto you, that in
me you might have peace. Inthe world you will have tribulation, but
be a good cheer. I haveovercome the world. That's why you got
to get in him. That's whyyou got to give your life totally to
him. You know, you cannottake the chance of being trouble. You
cannot take the chance of allowing theenemy to come to you and flood you

(17:52):
of all that God has promised you. Because these are promises that I'm telling
you that you want to tap in. And every born again believer must operate
under the standards of the Word ofGod. We got to get back to
the foundations. We got to getback to God because as we get to
know those words and the principles ofwhat he's saying, it allows us to

(18:14):
win. When when when in everysituation I just love it, he said,
by peace I leave with you.Peace I give under you, and
not if the world give it,give I under you. And he tell
you, don't let your heart betrouble, and don't be afraid, and
a lot of people are walking aroundin fear. And the stift he teaches
us, I just not giving usthe spirit of fear. I love power
and a sound mind. Do alllike the other people. When it says

(18:37):
these things, I spoken to youthat you might have peace. He says.
In the world, you're going toalways have tribulation. But be a
good cheer. He said, I'veovercome the world. So if he's overcome
the world, I'm with him.I want to be in the peace.
I want the peace of God torule and reign in every situation in my
life. My last one I wantto talk about because of the promises,

(18:59):
is that promises and turning passing allunderstanding. You know, there's a moment
where some people don't even understand howyou are operating. You let it be
known that I've got the peace ofGod, of ruling, reigning and big
On the inside of the Philippius thefourth chapter of the seventh verse, it
says, and the peace of Godwhich passes all understanding. They'll keep your

(19:19):
hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.Let me tell you something, all because
of what Christ Jesus hath done, because of the finished work of Christ on
the Cross. I now operate inall of what He has promised me.
I'm so grateful, I'm so thankful. I just give him the glory tonight.
I give him all the praise becausein the midst of chaotic situations,

(19:42):
I now have what we call supernaturalpeace that rise up on the inside of
me. And I'm not gonna letno one rob me of my peace.
I'm not gonna let anyone get meof all of those things that God has
promised me, because if God haspromised me, I want to have it,
you know, and says of thefeat coming out, but to still

(20:03):
kill and destroy. But Jesus said, I come that you might have life,
and that you have it, thatyou might have it more abundantly.
So tonight I'm going to speak andsay I want my abundant peace. I
wanted to rule and reign because iftrouble is around me, according to the
word of the Lord, I needto have my holiness. I need to
have my completeness. I need tohave my tranquility, and I need to

(20:25):
know that I am not going tobe affected by any outward circumstance of pressure.
Nothing can come against my mind.Really well, it can come against
my mind, really, the emotion, but it will not prosper because I'm
going to rise up in what Iknow that God has given under me,
the authority that He has already givenme that I can win in every situation.

(20:47):
So I praised God for the peaceof God. I praised God for
the peace of God. Now,if you have encountered a difficult situation,
of difficult relationship, difficulty in arelationship, maybe it could be you know,
anybody in your life. It couldbe a spouse, it could be
a relative, It could be afriend, or an employer. It could

(21:10):
be an employee, it could bea coworker. It could be a member
of the church. Yes, amember of the church, because sometimes church
folks sometimes I like, they forgetwho they are. But guess what,
we know that we have a responsibilityto remind ourselves of how we are supposed
to conduct ourselves as it results tothe peace that God has given unto us.

(21:32):
Now over in the Hebrews, thetwelfth chapter, the fourteen verse,
it's this where the verse begin bysaying, follow peace with all men,
follow peace with all men. Wow. The words follow is and it's the
Greek word d otop. This wordwas an old Honting term that meant to

(21:55):
follow the tracks of the animal orto follow the set of the animal.
You know, my granddad, hewas a hunter, and I mean,
you always used to love to gohunting. And I'm telling you that I
was never a hunting trip that mygranddad went on where they never brought anything
back to our house and brought Whenthey were bringing stuff back to the house,

(22:17):
we would see the things that theywould have shot it and killed and
bought. They would stripping down andmake sure that it was taken to a
processing company so that we would beable to actually partake of it. And
it was amazing what they did toactually get into the pocket of hunting.
And it goes exactly what this wordis saying. This is a word that

(22:37):
old hunting term. It means tofollow, to track or to follow the
tracks of the animal, or tofollow the scent of the animal. And
you know, my granddad he evenhad some hunting hound dogs. And the
hound dogs they were smart. Theycould smell things, and they could go
running after and they can take youexactly where you need to be so that

(23:00):
you can see it. I'm justgonna read this whole verse, because I
want you just follow peace with allmen at holiness, without which no man
shall see the Lord. This isfollow peace with all men. So that
means your love factory got to bekicked in. That means you still got
to have some joy in you todo this. That means that in order
for you to do this, yougotta be really death, like the hunter

(23:23):
death. Imagine a hunter get allyou know, he gets all geed up,
and he go out in his huntinggear and he's following the tracks of
the type of animal that he's hunting. He's following the set of you know,
it could be a rabbit, itcould be whatever they areut they're doing
deers, and he's looking for everylittle branch that the animal may have broken

(23:45):
so that he can better track itswhereabouts. Now the hunter is hunting,
following and starching for that animal, and he is not going to stop until
he finally gets to that place wherehe can get his prayer. Now,
the Holy Spirit used the word inHebrews the twelfth chapter the fourteen to say

(24:07):
follow after peace with all men. That means sometimes he doesn't just come to
us, Oh my Lord, stopit right there. He just doesn't come
to us. In fact, mostof the time time he does not come
to us. We have to dosomething to find peace with people. We
have to follow after peace Lord God, and God is the actor of peace,

(24:33):
so he knows how you can obtainit with every person. Can you
imagine? I wonder what would happenfor all the people that you have a
problem with tonight on the design ofmy voice, what would happen if you
follow east, not waiting on themto initiate things, but then you just
go ahead and initiate that peace factorin them so that you know that nothing

(24:55):
could stop you from really moving inthose things that God would have you to
move. And the rem this piece. It gets you to the place where
you are whole, You're completed, you are tranquil, and you are unaffected
by outward circumstances of pressures. Nowyou can do this based on the food
of peace that lives on the insideof you. Oohie, oohie, ooh

(25:19):
wow. I'm gonna set again.Oohie, oohie, ooh wow. Like
I said, you gotta get tothis place where you are able to hunt.
God instructs you and I to puton our hunting gear and make a
firm decision to do something about therelationships according to his love that have been

(25:40):
shed abroad in our hearts, bythe power again of the Holy Goath.
I just want to go to Romansthe fifth chapters to read this for you
because I love this man. Thishas been one I tell you that it's
always helping me. I tell peoplehaving a hard time with relationships, having
a hard time with people, thisis what you gotta do. I'm gonna
start that verse number one, Romansthe fifth chapters, and verse one he

(26:00):
says, therefore, being justified byfaith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, by whoalso we have access by faith into the
grace wherein we stand. We gotto have faith, but we access this
but just by whom we have accessby faith. You know, the grace
is access by faith. We gotto have faith in order for this to

(26:22):
work. And remember our faith isone of the fruits. So that means
and you know you got this faithworking for you. If you want all
these other components that work, guesswhat, all of them got the work.
Glory to God. And you needto be having them working. You
need to have them working when itis necessary. So it goes on and
says, and it's just by whomalso we have access by faith into this

(26:45):
grace wherein we stand and rejoice inhope of the glory of God. Not
only so, but we glory intribulation. Wow, how you glory in
tribulation. Also, Lord, thattribulation work in patience. Pasius is another
one of the fruit of the spiritglory of God. So that means you
gotta you gotta work hard, people, because in every element of your life

(27:07):
you're gonna be tried. You're gonnasee exactly are you walking by the spirit?
And remember that enemy wants you notto walk by the spirit. Do
you want you to respond in yourplace? I'm gonna tell you some stories
about some things happened in the firstbook right now, it says, And
not only so, but we gloryand tribulations, also knowing that tribulations work
it patience and patience, experience andexperience hope. And here's that verse and

(27:30):
hope. Make it not a shame. Why because the love of God has
been shed abroad in our hearts bythe Holy Ghost, which it's given unto
us. Wow, we have beengiven the power of the Holy Ghost.
So you need to remind yourself.I can't be responsible for what that person
does, but I am responsible forwhat I do, and God has required

(27:55):
me to do everything I can doto obtain peace in this relationship or whatever
is going on. Of course, sometimes even when you do everything you can
do, the other person doesn't respond. You can't answer for the other person,
but you are going to have toanswer for your self. You got
to answer for yourself. So whyis it so important that we follow after

(28:19):
peace just like the honest Why isit so puntant that we begin to even
when people don't respond to us,we have to continue to respond back to
them. The Bible goes on totell us and you rous to twelve,
chapter fourteen. It says, followpeace with all men and holiness, without
which no man will see the Lord. Now that word she tells us that

(28:41):
a lack of peace in a relationshipbecomes a blocker that stops us from enjoying
and experiencing the presence of God.Now, I don't want nothing to be
a blocker that's going to stop mefrom enjoying and experiencing the presence of my
God. Think of how many timesyou have been in a service where God's

(29:02):
are knowing that his president people arebeing blessed, but you can't hear and
end to it because you are soinwardly upset about something that somebody did you.
I will never allow. I'm notgonna say never. I'm gonna say
it's my desire that I will alwaysbe cognizant of the fact that every time
when there is something that is goingwrong with relationships, that I will rise

(29:22):
to the occasion. I'm getting applicationhere, and I will allow peace to
rise. I allow the peace ofGod. Now that's the passes all understanding
to rule and ring in my spirit. Now, now you gotta be able
to jump into this, because yousee, these attitudes are blockers, and
that is why the writer of Hebrewsays that without peace, or in the

(29:45):
presence of strife, you will notto be You would not be able to
you will not be able to beadmitted into the life changing presence of God.
Now that he ain't going to heaven, but you're not gonna be able
to experience the life changing presence ofGod. I've got to experience the life
changing presence of God. I'm notgonna allow nothing that you do to me,

(30:10):
what you'll say about me, keepme out of the presence of God.
Now let me tell you, theenemy will definitely plant people in your
eyes, in your face, inyour space to make sure that you are
looking at them. But let metell you something. You got to look
to the heels. What's coming toyour health, Your health coming from the
Lord. You got to keep youreyes stained on Jesus because Jesus is going
to give you the perfect peace thatyou need. And just as we walk

(30:34):
by faith, we have to recognizethat we cannot get distracted by what we
are saying. Yes, we willsee the natural thing right before us.
We got to continue to have thepeace in knowing that we are not going
to allow ourselves to ever be robof anything that God has for us.
Because it's important that I have mywholeness, it's important that I have my

(30:56):
completeness, It's important that I havemy tranquility. It's in port that I
let it be known that I'm notgoing to allow my mind really emotionous,
to be affected by any outward circumstanceor pressure that can't get me down.
Because the word of the Lord,as far as Shloma is concerned. I've
got a dominating piece that ultimately willrise and give me the victory. I'd

(31:18):
say I got the dominating element ofpiece that's gonna rise up and give me
the victory. Now, strikes isa blocker. It will stop you from
entering into the odor, and itwill stop you from entering to the blessings
of any kind. And you gotto understand that there are blocks that will
keep you from experiencing the power ofGod. That's why even if I got

(31:41):
an altercation with I'm gonna frame Lord, I forgive, forgive me. Let
me forgive them so that I willnot walk into a place where I am
not able to experience your presence.I had something that happened to me earlier
this early world. That was thatwas last week and someone will cutting the
property. And while they were cuttingthe lawn on the property, they had

(32:04):
an altercation with one of their workersand they started cussing, and boy,
they was carrying on, and theywere very rude to the individual. And
I was very embarrassed for the individualbecause I thought they were very disrespectful because
they were cursing in front of me, and I just told him I to
excuse me. One second. What'sgoing on here? We can't have that
here because we don't. We don'tconduct ourselves like this when we're at our

(32:24):
church. We're not cussing. Ialways tell people, I don't smoke,
I don't drink. I don't cuss, I don't smoke weed, I don't
drink. I don't because I'm notam I'm not a player. But i
love the Lord with all of myheart, and I'm trying to be like
him every day. What the guygot off and he got very all right.
He told me he didn't care ifI was the passing and I was

(32:45):
not the landscaper, and if thelandscaper was doing what he needed to do,
and I need to do what Ineed to do. I proceeded to
tell him, you know what, you need to get off of my property
because you're being very disrespectful and rude. Now, I didn't get loud.
I did get bushed with him,but I let't know. You got to
go. Well. I called thisboss because I've had a wonderful relationship over

(33:06):
the years with this boss, andI said, you know, never in
my life have I ever experienced whatI just experienced. I said, one
of your workers was here. Iwas not pleased with, you know,
their conduct. I noticed I wasn'tall right. I rate I wasn't.
I didn't lose my code. Iwas very comfortable, but I did share
with them, please inform them notto ever come back again. Well,

(33:27):
I heard something beating on my doorglass boom boom, boom, boom boom.
I mean, it was just knockingreal hard. So I go to
the front door of the church andguess who it was. It was the
custom There was the one who literallywas I right on the property, and
he was like, you know,I just want to apologize. I'm saying
myself, but you just strong theway and you were very and you were

(33:47):
very rude, not only to me, but you were rude to your your
coworkers. And he said, pleaseforgive me. I'm asking for your forgiveness,
and you know, the word ofthe Lord rose up and mean,
now I'm not gonna lie to you. You know, the fleshy side of
me said, don't you know, don't don't even deal with it, because
the way that he responded it wasvery embarrassing. So he reached his hand

(34:12):
out. Well in the beginning,he asked could he come inside I told
him, no, he did not. I didn't feel like it was a
safe thing from the be inside, because I'm always wise to make sure that
I protected myself when I'm in abuilding by myself. So I told him,
you know, you say what yougot are saying. So but he
apologized and he reached his hand outto shake my hand, to let it
be known that, let it bedone, let that be water. I

(34:34):
guess under the bridge because at thatmoment, Hey, he wanted to he
wanted to keep his job. Ibelieve that. And not only did I
really think that, you know, his boss talked to him and told him,
you know, that was not theright way to conduct himself. So
as he reached his hand out toshape mind, I'm telling you I had
to have the supernatural force of theHoly Ghost to help me to shake his
hand because my flesh did not wantto shape that man's hands. I want

(35:00):
to keep the real with you.I want to make sure that you're understanding
because every day you're gonna be challenged, and you got to still go back
to understanding and doing what is right. But when he said that he asked
for forgiveness, I heard something inmy spirit says, release him, shake
his hand, let it know it'sdone. So as he did that,
he you know, I shook hishand and I said, I forgive you.

(35:21):
I said the words I forgive you. Now I wanted to, but
I said, I forgive you.I'm gonna let this go. And even
in letting go, it helped meas I was moving on to carry out
my regular assignments. Because had Ihad goodness and honed, my heart got
strife. Had I, you know, well, just a root of bitterness,

(35:42):
it would have caused offense to comeand it could have thrown off the
rest of my day. I couldnot afford for my day to be thrown
off because my day was filled withimportant tasks of things that needed to be
done that was back on the opportunitiesof what was going to happen the next
day and now just the next day. But on Sundays, I don't need
to go into the pool pit beingmad at nobody just because you know,
they didn't conduct themselves the way thatI wanted them to conductnce of I can't

(36:07):
go conducting community meetings in front ofpeople because I might see that same personality
that might just send me somewhere ifI'm not forgiven. So I asked the
Lord forgive them. I forgive them. I released them, and I need
to be free of it, andlet me say the sea. I recognized
that I had a responsibility to actuallyprotect a piece of God that has already

(36:29):
been given under me. I wascustivating that fruit. I was making sure
that no weeds were around my gardenso I could get to that place of
moving forward with the rest of mylife. Now it's important for me.
Although it was chaotic moment between usthere on that property, I still had
to go back to stand my guardfor my wholeness, for my completeness,

(36:51):
for my tranquility, so that Iwould not be affected by the outward circumstance
of the pressures that was trying topush me off of my fruit of peace.
It's mine, I said, it'smine. I'm not going to allow
most blockers to get me out ofzone so that I am not going to
be able to carry out the mandateof what God has already placed in my

(37:15):
life. Wove glory to God.So let me go back here again and
get it again. And it saysso to he Brews the twelfth chapter fourteen
Pirus, it goes on to tellthe follow after piece and holiness. That
word holiness is from the word hagia. It means to be separate or to
be different. Now, would't havebeen interesting when he cursed I would have
ran back and cursed him out. That would have discredited mind witness. That

(37:37):
would have just credited who I amto God. It ain't got nothing to
do with me being a pastor.Has got everything to do with me of
allowing my life to shine. Andlet me tell you something. When the
scripture over to Isaiah says darkness iscoup of the earth and growth darkness to
people, you better know the devilis doing everything that he can do to
discredit those individuals who are standing towalk in the light of God. There

(37:59):
is a light that shines, thelight that shines right that the whole world
needs to see. The earth iswaiting and they're tronveilent for the sons of
God that show up. And I'mtelling you, somebody has weighed on you
to show up in the workplace.Somebody has waited on you to show up
in difficult scenarios. And it's timefor you to show up and stop allowing
these blockers to get you to theplace where you cannot be in the presence

(38:22):
of God the way you need tobe holie. So this word, how
is it needs to be separate orto be different. In this particular case,
the right of Hebrew is telling usthat we don't have the privilege of
acting. We don't have the privilegeof acting or thinking like the world.
You know. The scriptures over inRomans the twelfth chapter. I love that

(38:43):
too, because he reminds us inRomans the twelfth chapter, I love it
because it was one of the veryI remember the first message I preach.
It was all renewing the mind andbought My mind has been renewed for it
ever since I preached that first message. It says swept chapter the first verse,
I can seech you. This isPaul, you down for a brother
by the mercies of God, thatyou present your bodies a living sacrifice holy,

(39:08):
acceptable unto God, which is yourreasonable service. And be not conformed
to this world, but be yetransformed by knowing of your mind, that
you may prove what is that goodand acceptable and perfect will of God.
Now let me tell you this. You got to be able to renew your

(39:30):
mind with the word of God.And if those thoughts keep coming up,
you got to keep renewing your mindand you cannot let allow those words or
those thoughts to keep coming up,otherwise you will end up having what we
call strongholds. And people who havestrongholds, they have a problem withever overcoming

(39:52):
and winning in those areas that Godwould have them to wind it. And
I want you to understand it isour responsibility to pull those down. Yes,
actually pull those thoughts down and bringhim into the obitis of Christ.
And even if they act up,you need to keep on pulling it down
because that's the thing that is requiredof us to do. And you got

(40:14):
to come to that place that ifit continues to act crazy, you gotta
act crazy with it and get moreword than you that you're able to continue
to live according to what the Lordhas already spoken on to you. I
want to jump right quickly, justfor a side note to go to Second
Corinthians, chapter number ten. Itgoes on and says in verse number three

(40:36):
inches for a throw we walk inthe flesh, we do not war after
the flesh. And remember you knowthe commandment of this whole teaching is to
walk in the spirit so that youdon't fulfill the lust of the flesh.
So you got to continue to walkthis thing out, and you got to
remind yourself, it says verse numberfourth, of the weapons of our warfare,
they are not carnal but money throughGod. To the pulling down up

(41:00):
strongholds, pulling down on those badthoughts, pulling down of those things that
the enemy continued to call create Icall an evil imagination. And remember,
those are the things that's trying torob you of your wholeness, your completedness,
your tranquility. Those are the thingsthat's trying to affect you by outward

(41:20):
circumstance or pressure. You got toget that word in, and you got
to pull it in and say,I will walk into the love of God.
I will finish my assignment. Iwill do just as the Word has
already instructed me. I will recognizethat I have the power of the Holy
Ghost living big on the inside ofme. I will recognize that the love
of God has been shed abroad inmy heart by the Holy Ghost. I

(41:44):
will recognize that I got righteousness, piece of joy in the Holy Ghost.
I will recognize it I got apiece that surpasses all understanding. And this
is all generated by the Holy Spirit. I pull it down, I cast
it down. I cast it down. Now what happened when you cast it?
It is casting down imaginations and everyhigh thing that exosted itself against the

(42:04):
knowledge of God. But that meansthat hatred is coming against the knowledge of
God, that division is coming againstthe knowledge of God. All of that
ugliness is coming against the knowledge ofGod, because it's not what God has
required of us to do. Ifyou're read it in your world, you'll
see that God is a god oflove, and God tell us you love
at all possible, follow peace withall men. That means that you go

(42:25):
ask for them. You let itbe known that I am not going to
allow this to rob me of myvery presence with my God, because I've
got to be right with God.What does it mean for me to not
have peace with you? What doesit mean for you to try to have
peace with God? But I don'thave peace with my fellow men who by
them who I've seen none. IfI got peace with God, who I've

(42:47):
never seen, and then I gotdon't have peace with men who I see
all the time? Something is wrongwith that picture because aunts you are.
You are really an example of whatGod is calling for. You are a
little g in the earth, flowover to God. So I know my
time is running out, but Iwant to kind of get this done because
I want you to hear this. The Holy Spirit. I'm gonna go back

(43:07):
to the Holy Spirit. God callsus to the highest thenard the Holy Spirit
lives in us, giving us thepower we need to walk and forgiveness on
a much higher level than the world. Holy Spirit gives us the power to
walk in freedom rather than in thebundage. Holy Spirit gives us the power
to walk over every trap that theenemy sets before us. We're called to

(43:31):
follow after peace, to hunt it, to seek it, to pursue it,
to hunt it, to seek it, to pursue it with all men.
It doesn't matter who it is,your wife, your husband, your
children, your preacher, your pastor, your employer, your mother, your

(43:52):
father, your sister, your brother, your relatives, your cousin, your
bestperate. It does not matter.Go back, make it right that you
are walking according to the Word ofGod. Come on. This is a
Lucius McDowell Living Right podcast. Thisis teaching us how to live right.
People Now I'm not just giving youthis out of my head. This is
what thus said the Lord. Weare called to follow recipees again, to

(44:14):
haunt it, to seek it,to pursue it with all men. And
we're called to walk in holdliness,to behave ourselves differently than the people that
are lost. We got it.We are the ones that's supposed to be
walking into light, making sure thatthe light is being shown big in our
hearts. If we fail to pursuethat kind of spiritual walk and remain in

(44:36):
strife and business, it can blockus from experience seeing a tangible presence of
God. Because I'm gonna tell yousomething, I truly believe that when you
walk in the power of the Lord, I believe that there is the power
of the presence of God that comesover you, Lord of God that just
takes you to another level. AndI want you to go to your next

(44:57):
level to night. So I justwanted to to close it out by saying,
you got to continue to walk thisthing out. You got to continue
to do what God is telling youto do because he wants you to be
his example in the earth. Isay, he wants you to be his
example in the earth. I urgeyou to take a moment to look at
your life. Think about those timeswhen you harbor bitterness and offense and allowed

(45:22):
your heart to grow hard toward aperson. It was very difficult for you
to experience the sweet persons of theLord during those times. And I want
you may not agree to, butI'm going to tell you it was.
That's exactly what this verse is talkingabout. God is calling each of us
on a higher level. And likeit or not, this verse tells us
that we have to do when we'redealing. It tells us what we have

(45:44):
to do when we are dealing withdifficult people in difficult situations in our lives,
who have hurt us or offended us. And let me tell you something,
Indian life, you're gonna have someoffense, So get ready to overcome
his things. If we're serious aboutbeing disciples Jesus Christ, we must determine
to forgive every person and every offense. We have to respond differently than the

(46:07):
world would respond. Then, asmuch as possible with us, we must
actively follow after obtaining peace with allmen. Let me tell you the only
way you're going to be able todo this is by spending time with Jesus,
ask him what path you are tofollows to obtain that peace. No
one understand this better than Jesus. He had enemies all around him, yet

(46:31):
he walked in peace with all men. So we got to spend time talking
to him. We got to allowhim to help us get on the right
track that leads us to the freedomfrom strife and offense, and to abide
in the sense of his presence everyday. I want to be in his
presence every day. I want tocontinue to live and long to deal with

(46:52):
him. I want the more ofhim, and I encourage you to get
the more of him. And asI close tonight, just want to remind
you that this is a supernatural fruitof peace that must rise up, and
this piece will grant unto you wholeness, complete, this transquility in your mind,
willing emotions that will be unaffected byoutward circumstance oppression. Yet this is

(47:15):
the power of God that lives bigon the inside of you. And we
think about the word of peace isthe word Shalom, And Jehovah Shalom is
our guide the peace. And guesswhat he has already told us that it
has been given on to us.Now it's our opportunity to continue to walk
according to that piece that's our passesall understanding. And when people think that

(47:37):
are really getting on your nerves andgetting next to you, let it be
known that you got the peace ofGod that rises up being on the inside
of you. You got the holyspirit that holds you, and you're not
going to allow nothing to keep youfrom following and pursuing the peace of God
concerning all men. That means thatyou don't have favorites. That means it's

(47:59):
everybody that in your circle of insorglory to God. So tonight, as
I leave you, I want youto understand that you have been given a
directive, and that directed is thatyou know, get the weeds out of
the garden so that you know thatyou can cultivate that fruit of peace.
And as to cultivate that fruit ofpeace, you will find yourself in some

(48:20):
wonderful experiences with God. In thepresence of the Lord, there is fullness
of joy at his right hand. There are pleasures for everyone. I want
the pleasures and I want the fullnessof joys. So listen as I close
tonight. We are leaving you tonight, but I want you to understand we're
not leaving the word of God,not to the presence of God. We
speak peace right now to your situations, to whatever you're going through. And

(48:40):
as the Word of God has beengiven unto us, we believe right now
to not allow your heart to betrouble because He's given you the power to
overcome. Listen, it's been ajoy ministring unto you tonight talking to you
about the fruit of peace, andI want you to get it and walk
in and walk in and walk itout, walk it out, walk it
out, because this is Lucius McDowell'sfounded off. On the Lucius McDowell podcast
