Ms. Wilson is a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse originally from the state of Georgia. She followed her in her mother’s footsteps and became a nurse. She joined the military (US Army) out of high school and utilized her educational benefits to complete her undergraduate and graduate education. She started her nursing career as an Emergency Department Nurse at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been residing in Southern California for the past 20 years and has worked both in the private and government sectors of healthcare. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Council of Black Nurses-LA Chapter, Inc. She works as a Nurse Manager for a medical surgical telemetry unit in Los Angeles.
