Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to the Good Vibe Series.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We wanted to bring you this series so that you
can hear firsthand from the amazing women that join us
at the Good Vibe Retreat. A lot of you have
been interested in coming, and what better way to get
all the vibes and really hear the magic that we
make on these retreats than firsthand from the attendees. So
let's get into it.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Hello. My name is Monique, and I chose this trip
because I was at a really weird place in my life.
I was doing the work and doing everything right and
wasn't receiving the outcomes of what I felt that I
deserve and knew that I deserve. After losing my job

(00:48):
due to a layoff in February, Go and Behold, the
retreat came along and I doubted. I didn't want to
do it. I had all these different thoughts, but something
kept calling me here, calling me to a place that
allowed me to finally become the person that I am

(01:11):
destined to be. I know this might sound cliche to
who's ever listening and needs that nudge or that confirmation.
I don't know why you're doing it, but for me,
I needed to find me right. I needed a community
of women who were like minded, who will be open,

(01:31):
who would be empathetic, sympathetic to where I was in
my life. And to be quite honest, I didn't know
if any of that was here because the fear was
so strong. But I chose to go beyond the fear.

(01:52):
And that was one of the things that I received
from this trip. I received so much I cannot put
one word or one specific thing because it was just
everything to me. It was more than enough, Like I
joke with the ladies, like I could have left on
the second day, but every single experience just continued to

(02:15):
unfold and unpack all of my suppressed doubt, fears, inadequacies,
whatever it is that I thought less than about myself.
Like everything confirmed, Like girl, you are it, like you
are here. You deserve this. Yes, I had to go

(02:37):
across out of country to get it, but it was
so worth it. I would do it again and again
and again. I think, Erica, Emila, I've told them this,
and I'll tell them again and again. Thank you for
taking up the time to do the work, to do

(02:59):
what but we as females need right when we cannot
get it in our small town or we're too busy
in our big town to be able to our big
city to be able to receive it. Thank you for
just taking up space, allowing your spirits to be open, honest,

(03:20):
so that people like me are a very small town
in the South who felt really small but was able
to come here and get my voice back and be
able to speak openly and honestly and just say what

(03:44):
the fuck is in me right that I feel that
I've been suppressed for so long. I greatly appreciate it.
I will not stop saying it because it means too much,
and I just know that you guys may need to
hear it. But I'm going to tell you over and
over again, thank you from the bottom of my heart

(04:05):
for just giving me this opportunity to finally become the
woman that I know that I am. Thank you
