Speaker 2 (00:40):
Hello everybody, my name is Shoshana Auberbach and I'm so
happy to be back. It took a break for a
few months and we're back live on Bold Brave TV.
Thanks so much for joining us. Today's topic is a
very important topic we're going to discuss and how to
(01:00):
deal with our anger. We've been discussing this in our
series Anger, Friend or Foe, and today I'm going to
give you some additional tools to deal with anger and
release negative feelings safely and effectively. Going to be exploring
(01:20):
EFT Emotional Freedom Technique with more tips and perspectives to
empower you to communicate more effectively and confidently, reduce the
emotional charge from anger, and respond with clarity and level headedness,
and give you some free resources to learn and practice EFT.
(01:45):
So I want to invite you to call in or
send us a chat. We'd love to hear from you,
and if you think of something that came up after
the show, you can still write us an EA through
Bold bravetv dot com. So let's go forward. First, I
(02:07):
would like to introduce myself next slide please, I can
please have a little insert there in the corner, okay. So,
I am a music therapist and social worker licensed in
the state of New York, and I also provide energy
(02:28):
healing and spiritual healing and I do intuitive readings. And
I am also a certified Belief Code, Bodycode and Emotion
Code practitioner. So for more information, please see my website
and how I can help you have a happier, healthier life.
(02:49):
Next slide please. These are some of the previous show
topics on Lovelight and Wisdom. We talk about energy healing,
energy awareness, and how to deal with difficult emotions so
that you control them and they don't control you. Next
(03:11):
slide place Please also check out my two albums with
original healing songs. I wrote the lyrics, the music and
made the arrangements. And I invite you to listen with
your heart and swell as your head. Give some perspective
(03:32):
about life and love and a lot of wisdom next
slide Place. So again, this is our series Anger Friend
or faux series topics. Please check out our previous shows
if you are interested in these topics, or maybe you
(03:53):
know someone who is. Anger is a very difficult emotion.
It's a very challenging emotion, and yet it's ubiquitous. It's
part of everyone's culture, everyone's life. Everyone has to deal
with it. But the way we deal with it is
the way it will turn out in the end. It
(04:15):
will make us a better person if we can use
and harness this energy effectively and constructively and improve our relationships.
And if not, we know we did the best we
could with what we had. Next live Place. So when
we have challenges, and everyone has challenges, I've discovered from
(04:41):
myself that one thing that makes a difference for me,
rather than lashing out, and what do you mean by that,
is to pause, have the discipline and the vigilance to
pause and think, do I really want to go there?
Do I really want to go there? It takes a
(05:02):
lot of vigilance and a lot of self discipline, but
you can do this over time, and even if you
catch yourself afterwards, it's still a big victory to change
those ingrained habits. Questions I have post to myself is
(05:23):
is it worth investing my time and energy in the fight?
How important is it? What will I gain? What are
my intentions? And what do I do with the energy
of my anger and hurt feelings if I decide to
let it go? So yes, this may seem more of
(05:44):
a cerebral kind of approach to dealing with, you know,
knee jerk kind of reactions, but the key is to pause,
step back, detach, and let you know the thinking part
and not the reactive part of your brain take over
so you can respond and not REACTA pause and think,
(06:08):
do I really want to go there? Is that how
I want to use my energy? Be more in control
and more empowered over your thoughts and who you are
and who you want to be next lide place. So
this is a quote that I saw in a copy store,
(06:29):
and it really while I was waiting for my copies.
You know you're looking around like it really touched me.
A wise man was asked what is anger? He gave
a beautiful answer. It is a punishment you give to
yourself or somebody for somebody else's mistakes, and it could
(06:50):
be your own mistakes as well, so when we hold
on to our anger, the question is are you giving
your power away? Are you giving your power away? And
from myself included, this has been a journey for me
as well. It made me stop and think, am I
(07:12):
giving my power away? I'm like, huh, do I have
power to give away? What is that? I just want
to blurt it out. But I realized over time, and
with the help of some very gifted therapists and healers,
I was giving my power away and I wanted to
stop that. I wanted my power for myself. What was
(07:36):
I gaining from this? I had the illusion of controlling
the degree of closeness in a relationship, but it wasn't
hurting me. It was the other person. It was hurting myself.
I had the illusion of power, it was really inauthentic
power because I was letting someone else's behaviors dictate my response.
(08:00):
It affected my physical and mental health. I mean, I'm
a functioning person, but why spend my time and let
someone else take up room in my brain without paying rent?
I invested my energy in perpetuating resentment instead of life
promoting activities that bring me happiness. Why do I need
(08:25):
to have a headache and a neck ache and a
backache or whatever ache or a heartache because of someone else.
In the end, I'm responsible for my happiness and my choices,
and I want to feel proud of whom I see
reflected in the mirror. Sometimes also, people are a fear,
(08:46):
have a fear of losing their identity. If I let
go of my anger, who would I be? So when
we hold onto anger, think are you giving your power away?
You're feeling trained because you're giving your power away. So
today we're going to talk about EFT and how you
(09:07):
can better cope and deal and manage this very strong
passionate energy. Next Live Place. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom
technique and it was developed by the man in the
top picture, Gary Craig in nineteen ninety five. It was
(09:29):
also popularized in recent years by Nick Ortner, whose picture
you see on the bottom, and his siblings. They have
a wonderful and extensive website and app called the Tapping Solution.
And by the way, I have just as a disclaimer,
I have no business relationship with any of the products
or people mentioned here. One thing that was amazing use
(09:54):
of this amazing modality was that Nick and his colleagues
who lived in Newtown, Connecticut, used EFT to help people
in their hometown who were traumatized by the Sandy Hook
School shooting in twenty seventeen. EFT helped survivors with symptoms
of PTASD and responders. Let's look at some more plays
(10:21):
next slide. How do you use EFT Well, you can
use it on just about anything. How does it help
specifically with our topic today? Anger? It reduces the emotional
charge and triggering. It releases stress, increases confidence to express
and receive someone else's anger, which is not easy. You
(10:44):
can use it on phobia's pain, anxiety test, anxiety, fear
of flying, fear of change, depression, trauma, release, infusing positive emotions, grief,
worries about money, relationship, stress, weight loss, block, pregnancy, sleep support,
PTSD and more. Next slide. Please, So, what it does
(11:10):
is you tap on the endpoints of acupressure meridians and
balance and calm the nervous system. Meridians, as we'll see
in the following slide, are energy pathways in the body.
In each meridian corresponds to an emotion. Let's take a
look at those meridians. Please, In the next slide. See,
(11:33):
there are twelve pairs of meridians and yin and young pairs.
And when the body is in balance, we have a
state of optimal wellness. When we're out of balance, we
have a disk ease, a disease hyphenated as dissease. We're
not in balance. So the idea of shiatsu and EFT
(11:56):
and many other moheali modadies is to re balance the system.
And how do we do this. We tap on the
end points of these meridians. Next slide place. These are
the nine tapping points. So we're going to start with
the eyebry between the eyebrow. The second point is the
(12:20):
side of the eye, then underneath the eye, and we're
taking the it doesn't matter which hand, we're taking the
middle and the index finger. Next we have and tapping
just gently firmly, bit gently, and then under the nose,
(12:40):
under the chin, and then we also have the collarbone.
Some people can just use this, okay. And then we
have underneath the arm. If you're a woman, is approximately
where the top of your bra is. Okay. So those
are the nine tapping points. Now to set this all up,
(13:02):
we start with that karate chock point and we're going
to tap minimally seven times on each of these points
while we're going to be saying a statement. So let's
look at the next line place and these or the
corresponding meridians of the body. And remember each meridian corresponds
(13:25):
to an organ. So when we tap and remember the
organs go have a start point and a terminous point.
So when we're tapping on the terminus points, we're literally
clearing and balancing all of each meridian one at a time.
You are literally giving yourself a tune up. And remember,
(13:51):
each meridian corresponds to an emotion, so whether or not
we're conscious of it, we're also clearing out some of
the negative charges from negative or painful emotions. So this
is the basics of EFT and we're going to learn
(14:11):
more about that when we come back from our commercial break.
This is Showshanna Auerbach speaking to you live on bold

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Welcome back, everybody. I'm Shoshana, your hostess of Love, Light
and Wisdom, and you're watching me live on bold Grave TV.
We've been talking about emotional freedom technique, which can be
used for many many different types of emotional stresses or
maybe just infusing some positive energy. We've been reviewing the
(16:54):
tapping points again. We take the middle and the index
finger and we're going to tap on these nine different points,
which also correspond to the terminus points of acupressure meridians
and also you give yourself a literal tuna because each
of those points corresponds to an emotion. So we have
(17:18):
nine basic tapping points and these are some other alternative
tapping points on the hand and rest. So today we're
going to focus on the main nine tapping points. Let's
go to the next line place. So this is the
basic diagram and protocol, and let's have a demo. So
(17:44):
I'm going to think of since we're addressing feelings of anger,
I'm going to think of something that makes me feel angry.
Let's see, I know recently I sent money order to
one to pay off a debt and a month went by,
(18:05):
six weeks went by, and I contacted Western Union and
I found out that I cannot get my money back
because it was cashed, although the intended recipient did not
receive it. So that meant I'm out a few hundred
dollars and it was stolen, and I feel angry about
(18:26):
that because I worked hard for that money. So the
first thing we do is assess your SUD level. That
means subjective units of distress and common colloquial terms, that
means rate yourself your distress on a zero to ten
point scale, where zero is no stress and ten is
(18:48):
it's really bothering you. So I'm going to tune in
how much is this issue bothering me? It's about it
or a seven, maybe an eight. I think probably an eight.
We'll give it an eight today, Okay, So then we
(19:10):
have a set up statement. So I'm going to take
my index and middle finger and I'm going to be
tapping on this karate chop point okay, which is part
of the heart meridium. And I'm going to say, and again,
you can put this in your own words and you
can tap along with me. Please do this at home.
(19:33):
Even though I have this problem of the money order
being stolen and feeling robbed, violated, hurt, whatever, I deeply
and completely love and accept myself. And if you're not
sure what you're feeling or what the issue is, you
(19:56):
can simply state, even though I have this feeling or
I have this issue, I deeply and completely love and
accept myself. Now, we also want to prepare the brain
and the mind to be open to change. This issue
(20:17):
is really bothering me, and I am ready for change.
I am ready to use this energy for a more
constructive purpose, and I am ready to do that now.
And I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Right now,
(20:42):
we are going to go through those seven tapping points,
starting with the eyebrow point. This issue of the money
order has been really annoyed, and you're gonna keep tapping.
And if you can't think of the next statement, just
(21:04):
keep tapping, It'll keep It'll come to you. Side of
the eye, I am really angry that someone stole my
money under the under the eye. You feel the I
feel the bone here. That was a really nasty low
(21:24):
thing to do. Next point is under the nose, that
little indentation above the lip. I'm really angry that someone
stole my money underneath the chin, underneath the I'm sorry
(21:49):
the underneath the lip. On the chin, I feel violated, collarbone.
I'm so angry, I don't know what else to say.
(22:11):
And under the arm, that was a really low thing
to do. On top of the head. As a spiritual person,
I accept that was God's will, and I still feel
(22:33):
angry about it, and we're going to do another round.
I am going to take action by filing a police
report when I get the documentation back and I find
out who signed the money order. Side of the eye,
(22:58):
I am not powerless underneath the eye. Maybe something else
worse was supposed to happen to me, and this is
God's way of saying, better the money than my body
or a bigger loss. Underneath the nose. I really don't know.
(23:23):
I just know that I feel angry about it chin,
and that's my story. My feelings are my truth color bone.
I wish it didn't have to be this way, and
(23:50):
under the arm, I'm just going to take a big
sigh because I just don't know what else to say. Ah,
top of the head, God, please help me find out
what happened. And I'm going to do the best that
(24:10):
I can. And if I can't get my bunny back,
give me something even better. All right, So we do
about two or three rounds and take a deep breath,
just let everything integrate. Take another deep breath. I'm going
(24:37):
to tune in again and rate myself on a zero
to ten point scale. How much is this bothering or
affecting me now? But it's not a you know, whatever
number comes up first, don't you know, really ruminate on
(24:58):
it with me. Okay, it's a five. So with one
round of doing EFT on this issue, I started at
an eight and I went to a five. So what
do I do now? I still have some anger and
(25:18):
that's normal and natural, So I will do I would
do or I would tell a client to do another
round of this. So we're going to start at a
five and just get it down. Maybe we have to
do two or three rounds of this, and the idea
(25:39):
is to get it as close to a one or
zero as possible and then just let the rest go,
like send it up, put it in a balloon, and
release it to God in the universe. So that's the
basics of EFT. I'm just going to tune in. Who
(26:03):
am I feeling my body now? Yeah, I feel a
little clear in my head. I feel some energy, more
energy moving in this part of my brain. I feel
a little clear in the back of my head because
we collect a lot of tension there. Remember the neck
is the bridge between the head and the heart, so
(26:24):
that's where a lot of energy gets stuck, especially at
the base of the neck. So yeah, I feel some
feel clearer there, feel it moving. My aura feels a
tiny bit clearer. And one thing I want to also
(26:49):
emphasize here, there's something called bypassing your feelings. It's like, Okay,
you know it was meant to be and or maybe
I'm just so numb about or in shock about it,
i don't know what I'm feeling, or it's like I'll
forget about it. That's called bypassing your feelings and not
(27:16):
It's a form of denial or checking out, numbing out
because we're in shock. Something has created in balance and
or system like what can't believe somebody would steal my money? Order?
Like what's going on here? So the idea here is
to get as real and specific with the feelings, and again,
(27:42):
if you're not sure what they are, just keep saying
the same thing over and over again, this feeling, this feeling,
and imagine feeling in your mind what you're feeling. Ah,
you know this, this feeling, this feeling. One of the
(28:04):
wonderful things about EFT, besides its efficacy that it works,
is you can be so creative with your statements. Now,
at first, this can be maybe intimidating because it's so
wide open, But the more you become familiar with it,
(28:24):
and there are many many good resources out there for
you to get some ideas about how to formulate your statements,
including the Tapping Solution app and website, you'll like. It's
a skill. The more you do it, the better you'll
get at it, and the more effective it will be
(28:47):
for you and people you care about. So we're going
to take a break now and we'll come back in
two minutes and learn some more about the efficacy and
the wonder of eft emotional freedom technique. This is show
Shanna Auberba speaking to you live on Bold Brank TV.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Hello everybody, and welcome back to Lovelight and Wisdom. I'm
your hostess, Shoshanna Auberbach, and you're watching me live on
Bowl Brave TV. We've been talking about emotional freedom technique EFT,
specifically how to deal more effectively constructively with angry or
(31:48):
negative feelings. So we just went through a series of
EFT around of ef T where I went from an
eight to a five about it to an issue I
was angry about stolen money order. So let's learn some
more about EFT and what makes it such an effective
(32:11):
modality with efficacy. So there are many many research studies
about EFT on the tappingsolution dot com website. Some of
these include EFT lower stress hormone cortisol by forty three percent.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Right.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
This was published in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases.
Ef T reduces food cravings and MR functional MRI scans
which show changes in the brain. And also tapping positively,
that's where we deal with an infusion of positive feelings.
(32:56):
I'm proud of myself, I accomplished something. I smile from inside.
So tapping positively can influence gene expression in seventy two genes. Wow,
let's look at some more on the next slide place.
(33:20):
EFT tapping is shown to be a fast, long lasting
treatment for anxiety. This was also further studied by taking
brain scans of brain activity and patients treated with EFT
decrease the frequency and intensity of anxiety symptoms. Burnout and
(33:43):
healthcare workers dramatically was reduced by EFT ure wonderful Helping
people in the pandemic and afterwards can benefit from this
as well. Test anxiety in high school students was reduced
significantly with EFT as well as treatment offt treatment reduces
(34:10):
PTSD symptoms by fifty two percent in veterans. Wow, giving
them back quality of life after they gave a lot
to us. So we can sleep at night. So let's
learn some more in the next slide place, let's do
(34:34):
a little review of a tiny bit of neuroscience. The
limbic system how we feel our emotions. This is the
actual place in the brain where we feel our emotions.
They come from somewhere. So first of all, there is
sensory input from our eyes, our ears, our nose or taste, touch,
(34:56):
and this is relay buy different nerves auditory nerve, olfactory bulb,
and optic nerve and so forth to the thalamus, which
is like the grand relay station. And the thalamus is deciding,
like what do I need to do with this neurological
(35:18):
impulse this signal, and if our brain decides we want
to keep following that signal, then it goes to the
olympic system. Part of the Olympic system is that green
bulb in the center called the amygdala. It's an almond
shaped structure which has to do with emotions, particularly of
(35:44):
fear and anxiety, but also are other emotions. And notice
how closely it is in proximity to the hippocampus, which
is where we store memories, especially term memories. So we're
making an imprint. Oh, I haven't smelled this before. I
(36:06):
haven't heard this piece of music before. I haven't have
I seen this space before. You know, our mind is
doing a like a Google search, lightning fast Google search.
Is there a template, a pre existing template for this
in my mind? And if not, we create one. So
one thing that's very interesting is look at the speed
(36:29):
of which these structures work. So the thalamus works about
fifty milliseconds, decides what to do with the emotion, the
input the neurological signal signal. The amygdala works a tiny
bit stowar seventy five milliseconds right, and the prefrontal cortex,
(36:54):
which is in the front of your brain, your thinking brain,
where you make executive decisions. Am I going to pay
more attention to that emotion, to that feeling, or how
am I going to respond to it? Or in response
is also remaining quiet and putting you delaying, deferring your response.
(37:18):
That is five times slower than you're amignala. Or adversely,
your reactive brain, you're amgnala is five times faster than
your thinking responding brain. So if we can buy ourselves
sometime and just pause and think, like in the first slide,
(37:43):
do I really want to go there with my energy?
Is my emotion controlling me? Or am I in charge
of my emotions? That is a quality that is unique
to uman beings. Animals do not do this. So also
(38:05):
let's remember that ninety percent of the brain perceives and
experiences the present event as a past one and triggers
the amingdalah. And this is part of what goes on
in PTSD and flashbacks. Or maybe you see somebody's face
that reminds you of someone else you had a positive
(38:25):
or a negative encounter with. Like this, your brain is
deciding I like I don't like, I have fearful or
I have a positive open response. So again, if we
can just slow down that part of our brain, take
a deep breath and realize what's going on and say, okay,
(38:46):
I'm just going to buy myself sometime how I can
respond and not react. So I'm in control. I am
in authentic power. So if you want to learn more
about this, you can look up doctor Kate Truwett's book
Healing Is in Your Hands. Healing in your Hands. Okay,
our next slide, please, let's learn some more about the
(39:09):
amygdala when it gets overloaded, short circuited. Ah, that is
what we call the amygdala hijack all right, milkdown. It's
an overload of emotion, too much energy at one time.
So what's going on is the amygdala is overriding the
(39:32):
frontal lobes, the thinking part of your brain, to hijack
stress response control. So how can we avoid this? First
of all, pace yourself and don't overload yourself, breaking tasks
down into small steps and celebrating smaller victories instead of
getting overwhelmed by how will I ever do this whole thing?
(39:54):
Break it down and good job, all right, and of course, breath,
Let's take a breath now. Okay, let's learn some more
about our emotions. In the next slide, place, brain imaging,
as I mentioned before, has also been done with EFT.
And let's take a look at the next slide which
(40:19):
shows a breakthrough study about changes in the brain regarding
food cravings. And this was done with a functional MRI,
so that while a person is even thinking about eating
or not eating different foods, different areas of the brain
light up. And let's take a look in the next
(40:40):
slide about some images in the brain. So you see
here the little orange in the top left, that's before
four weeks of EFT and after EFT that was once
subject and then in the bottom it's a female subject
(41:04):
and only four weeks of EFT they decreased creatings for
carbohydrates and fast foods, increased power over food, and measurable
change in brain activity. Isn't that amazing. We can actually
see it working in real time. Let's go to the
next slide. Place, here's another slide of some brain activity
(41:30):
regarding after four weeks of treatment for generalized anxiety disorder.
So you're see the dark blue is the normal ratio
of wave frequencies according to the so called average person,
and the red is highly dysfunctional. And look how things
(41:52):
change over time in the bottom from after four tapping sessions,
that's maybe twenty minutes or so altogether of EFT changing
the brain slowly slowly. After eight tapping sessions, after twelve sessions,
(42:12):
that's maybe an hour or two, maybe three at most,
no drugs, no stress. And this can be a form
of self help. You don't need to go to the doctor,
call the helpline, the mental health help line. Let's look
(42:37):
at some more about how ef T can help you.
Ef T versus e M d R and a study
done it came out about the same. EMDR is the
eye movement desensitization repatterning. It's a state of the art
modality for helping people deal with trauma by also again
(43:03):
repatterning thinking patterns, cognitions and believe it or not, this
was really surprising. It was about the same right again,
different strokes for different folks. Let's go to the next
line place. So let's learn some more about ef tam
(43:30):
You can use it to help other people as a
gift to their higher self. So let's say you are
having a tense encounter with someone. Maybe you care, you
don't care, so much about. You can tap on their anger. Okay,
(43:50):
even though so and So's anger is bothering me, I
deeply and completely love and accept myself. So this is
how you can help someone else. You can also use
it to help humanity in the world. You can tap
about the pandemic or the shortage of something in the store,
(44:11):
or the inefficiency of something. You can proxy for other people,
but remember to discharge their energy when you complete the session.
You can also use it on animals while proxying for
the animal. It's not necessary to have training and certification,
but there are courses that you can take, and we'll
(44:34):
learn more about this when we come back from our break.
You've been watching me live so Shanna Auberbach on Gold
Brave TV on Love, Light and Wisdom. Please join us
after the break and we'll talk more about how EFT
can help you.
Speaker 3 (44:52):

Welcome back, everybody. I'm Shoshana Auerbach, your hostess of Love,
Light and Wisdom, and you're watching me live on Bold
Brain TV. We've been talking about emotional freedom technique aka tapping,
and how this can help you deal more effectively with anger,
(47:17):
negative emotions as well as infusing positive emotions. We have
a comment here from a listener. Hi, my apologies if
you mentioned this before. How long are the sessions recommended
to be? I think that there's no one size fits all,
And first of all, thank you very much for your comment.
(47:38):
We love comments, and I think it really depends on
the flow, the issue, the person yourself included. You know,
everyone has a different capacity, so you don't want to overdo,
you don't want to overdo, overstimulate. So how long is
(48:00):
sessions recommended to be? I have done EFT sessions on
myself and I'm again I'm very familiar with it. Maybe
in five ten minutes, but for someone who's more of
a novice, it could take longer, or maybe someone who
is Sometimes I have had experiences where I went only
(48:23):
from like say a ten to a nine, and that's
all my body could take at that time. So come
back to it another time. But remember, even going from
a ten to a nine, where something was really triggering
a person, just that little step is not actually so little.
(48:45):
So I hope that answers your question. Okay, so we're
on the topic of anger in this series. What are
some causes of anger and how to address them. Anger
is a very complex emotion. There might be many other
emotions underlying it that can trigger a person. Depression, especially
(49:07):
in men, is how anger is how they express. Many
times they are depressed feelings because it's harder for them.
It's hard for people in general to articulate feelings, so
it's just that energy of arms, frustrated, disappointment, hurt to
feeling disrespected and validated diminished. Anger can also be caused
(49:33):
or triggered by unmet needs, unmet expectations, frustrated needs, disappointments,
perceived ego wounds, feeling dismissed, overlooked, invalidated, feeling or being
given the feeling of I don't matter, my feelings don't matter,
(49:55):
and I'm a nobody. That is very painful. Crossing bound
can make a person feeling how many times did I
tell you? Please? Don't right? Disempowering or feeling disempowered. Misperceptions.
What seems isn't always what was, and misperception can cause
(50:20):
a certain response triggers from the past. The brain operates
on one timeline. So what seems the way you're seeing
something now, it's actually triggering something in the past that,
even though it could have happened twenty fifty years ago,
it's as if it's happening right now. There's one timeline
(50:41):
in the brain. Next slide. Please. So there are some
benefits of anger. It may be signaling us what's missing,
something's wrong, something's out of balance, something's not in resonating.
In my integrity system, we call that dysphonic. Maybe it's
(51:04):
a message I need to stand up for myself. Like
the money order, Okay, I'm going to do what I
can and that's all I can do. I won't allow
you to treat me this way. I want you to
respect my boundaries, respect what's important to me. So perhaps
you can figure out what's missing and address that. It's
(51:28):
not easy. You can also use the energy of anger
to fuel solution, like Mothers Against Drunk Driving was started
by a woman whose teenage daughter was killed by a
drunk driver. She took proactive steps to channel and fuel
funnel her anger into something not only constructive for her,
(51:49):
but for millions of people. Let's look at the next
slide place. So anger has a wisdom, stop and think.
Don't let your emotional self phone battery, so to speak.
Get down to zero, nurture yourself. Halt stands for as
(52:14):
an acronym am I feeling hungry, angry, lonely, tired, and
address your needs as such. Again, just buy yourself some
time and bring the reactive part of your brain, the
signals to the front part of your brain, the thinking
responsive part of your brain. And let's look at the
(52:39):
next slide place. Remember perspective, the messenger and the message.
Maybe the person you're angry at was sent to teach
you a strangely wrapped gift of a lesson. To learn
the lesson and move forward and the next slide place.
(53:03):
Just be careful because there's a fine line. Sometimes between
anger and danger one letter difference. And let's go to
the next slide. And remember there are also consequences of
not expressing difficult messages, as we've discussed earlier in this series.
(53:25):
And the next slide again, I encourage you to do
some tapping on things that are making you uncomfortable or
maybe infuse some positive energy. And let's go to the
last slides. Are you measuring the decrease in the negative emotion?
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (53:41):
How much is this triggering you? How much is this
bothering you? How much is this affecting you? On a
zero to de tenth. Thank you for your question. And
if you can't let it go, find a work around.
Sometimes you just you've done your best and let God
do the rest. It's not easy, but maybe you have
(54:04):
more to gain by letting it go and taking up
your energy with someone else's mistakes. And let's go to
the last slide place and some issues will never get resolved.
So this has been Shoshana Auberbach speaking to you live
on Bold Brave TV on Love, Light and Wisdom. I
(54:26):
hope today's program will help you deal more effectively with anger,
