talk about real life, real struggles and the power behind
Lucas and beyond. I'm your host Savannah Bird today and
our special guest is a Zora miss z is in
the building, hey, and we will be discussing building while

(01:47):
battling a warrior into a ceo. So let's howre you
doing to that? Beautiful?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I'm okay, gorgeous listen, still back, look amazing, Thank you,
thank you?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Skin looking good?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So that I mean your product is working listen, just working. Listen, everybody,
So what what what did it?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
What did I say?

Speaker 3 (02:20):
This is the face cleanser made by me. I made
my skincare products for people with loopers and people that
don't have it, but when I created it, it was
for us.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
So I'm appause you on that, sus. Before we get
into that, For people that do not remember the episode
that we did previously, why don't we go ahead and
just reintroduce yourself? Okay, So let's reintroduce yourself.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So tell us.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
What type of what type of loopers you have and
what inspired your skincare line.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I have loopus sl with rheumatoid off writers, and what
inspired my skincare line was the itching, the itching, the
face piling, getting up, having little red marks and then
you can see the wings and my face is swollen.
I got tired. I got real tired, waking up in

(03:25):
the morning calling my mom like, hey, lady, look, I
need some help. My face is on fire. It's breaking out.
I got wets going like this across my face. It
was just like, at this point, if the doctors can't
help me, I'm gonna figure something out. So I turned
myself over to Holistic, which I already had started digging
into it, but now I'm like me deep in there.

(03:48):
Holistic has has guided me thus far making this skincare
line for my skin and others. Okay, so it's for
people with loopis or without loops, anybody that's dealing with
any type of skin issues period. Yes, so if you
have lupez or asthma. I also have a couple of

(04:08):
girls on my YouTube, my YouTube, my Facebook page Terry Drummond.
If you're looking for me that they use the product
and they have skin conditions I've never even heard of.
And then I have a neighbor who, honey, when I
say bathed in it, bathed in it. When she did that,

(04:28):
I was like, I knew I was on to something.
I got it. I had. Also, I gave my closerm too.
She uses it on her ankles when she gets off
work due to swelling, the inflammation that we go through.
It's been helping her with her swelling. So when I
say I'm I'm still blown away in shop, I am.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
That's amazing. That is amazing. Don't be be blown away
in shot. But understand that it was meant for you
to create this.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Listen when it took no other highway after having to
deal with certain issues personally, trying to get up and
fall back down and get up and fall back down.
It was It's a battle.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
It was a battle, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
So how long did it take you to actually start
distributing it and selling it to individuals? So how long
were you in the lab cooking it up before before
you actually like got it to where it needed to be.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
So I love roses, okay, roses and tiger lilies. So
when I first started, I was looking at tiger lilies
and I was like, and y'all, look, I gotta try
to a tiger lily, so you should know that's my flower.
I'm like, okay, I'm gonna use tiger lilies. But then
something just drew me. After praying and crying because I'm like,
I don't know how to take this tiger lily and

(05:55):
go to a lab and say hey, I need you
to turn this flower into some liquid. It was so
much easier once I started doing research on roses and
how roses, whether it's rose, hemp, rolls, oil rolls, anything
helps people with lupis. Oh that's all you had to
tell me. Okay, great. So once I went to a

(06:16):
lab that my manager put me onto out and it's
out and literally out into Amazon. All my products come
from overseas. We have real nuts, real yeah, the real jajobo. Okay,
real roses that are actually grown organic. It's don't have
all the pesticides and stuff that's in our dirt. And

(06:38):
I'll saw you here in America. It's literally over in
the Amazon. So when she let me know about that,
I was like, okay, I gotta get this bread up.
I gotta figure something out. So temporarily I had found
me a website that does organic skincare, and I gave
them my idea. They rock with it so well here

(07:00):
that we ended up connecting my manufacturing company here with
the manufacturing company over the Amazon. Okay, so they started
sending the nuts and the oils and stuff I could use,
sending their head to America. So all they did was
turn it into a base for me, and I just
added my essential oils I wanted, and then real real roses,
hanging them upside down and letting the AILLL drip to

(07:22):
the end like it's a process. Who knew oil was
and roses?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I was just gonna say that, like, wow, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
So if you could speak of just a little bit
on that, like how so you hanging the roses upside
down would.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Allow the oil to come out of the ross in
order for you to even use it?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Now, that's a good question for the lab.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Good question, real question for the lab.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
See me, I was doing my own due diligence, looking
it up using chat, GPT and going on YouTube videos
trying to see out on Law's Green Earth, do you
get all you out the roads and what I've learned
from YouTube, you just hang it. All you do is
hang it and put a little jar and all you
over a couple of days, it's gonna start dripping. It

(08:13):
just drifts. It's not a lot. You gotta get a
bunch of roses to do it. Me being me, I
just bought myself twelve dozen roses and tried this thing.
And when I did it, I was like, oh, snap,
it really works. So when I talked to the manufacturing
company that my manager with me onto, they was like, yeah,
you do that, but it's other steps to pull it out.

(08:35):
So that's what I said. They got the bulk of
the answer. I was just experimenting with myself.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Got you, got you? Got you? So is this something
that is it expensive to do?

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Like?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
How much are you able to share that with me?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
No? Okay, later, well.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Me and you, Me and you the caravanhind the scenes, Okay,
cool cool es.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
So before we jump into this this next one, I
did want to touch bases on a little bit. So
I remember you reaching back out to me. I told
you I was gonna bring you back on about six months.
It's been about six months plus, and I was so
excited that you got what you needed from this platform
when you were on six months plus months ago.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
So do you want to elaborate a little.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Bit on how Lucas Has No Face podcast helped you
with your your business?

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Absolutely? So, look y'all, no jokes, no gimmicks, no games,
y'all keep in mind, be looking up and down because
I'm looking at my live on TikTok two. Y'all, no jokes,
no games. I literally soon as we got off of
the interview, I think it was maybe a week or
two later, I tried to get on my website because

(09:54):
I was creating it. You know, it was a basic website.
You know, you can click, go in there, say what
you want and now I'll answer and respond and say, okay,
I'll have to kick to you in an X amount
of days. Oh no, oh no, no, no, no, went
up there on the back end of my website that
they said, pooh crash. I was like, what the hell?
What did I do? I'm calling my mom, talk to

(10:17):
my sister. I'm like, y'all, I can't see any orders.
I can't see anything. Listen. It took me three months
to get my website back up. Three months. In the
three ploths. I had orders galore. Living in a small
area like I live in Porias, so in Virginia, so

(10:37):
everybody knows me. And when I posted on Facebook, that
was one thing. People will hit me up and say, okay,
I need orders. That was easy. But getting my orders
out to people in Texas, Louisiana and New York it
was not easy. And then I felt bad as a
boss cause it's like people are ordering and I can't
get it out there because I can't see address no more,

(10:58):
I don't have a song number to reach, shouldn't see anything.
My whole system went down, Like I literally had to
go back and rebuild my website from the bottom Savannah.
It took me, whoo what four months?

Speaker 1 (11:13):
What caused it to go down?

Speaker 3 (11:15):
The order overload? And was it whatever system I was
using at that time wasn't equipped to handle that. You know,
like when you use blue holes and stuff like that,
it shows you the amount of orders the you know
what I'm saying, give you a limit. When I first
started the website, I didn't I didn't know, I didn't

(11:35):
know what I was doing. It was just something I
just threw the gather and said, okay, make it easy
for somebody one two three ABC doing it that way.
I should have did that. I should have went to
my mother who's the tech head, my sister who's the
tech head, and let them look at my website and
tell me, hey, you need to go back and do this,
fix this, don't use that anymore, go to blue holes,
or go to God Daddy. I didn't know none of that,

(11:57):
so I had to sit down and literally talk to
people in it to figure out what happened. I had
to talk to Google. Google. Let me tell y'all, some
Google aint no help. Google is not no help. If
you're gonna build a website on Google, that's cool because
I also have my Azora real estate. Yeah, I'm meant

(12:18):
to that too, doing apartments and stuff.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
But to bring you back on for that and I
will come.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I'm still building that, but Google is helping me step
by step because I don't want to mess up. Google
is such an easy website to use to build you
a website from scratch, but you gotta know what you're doing.
You really got to be a techie to know what
you're doing. I start linking in with other tech heads
and use the other websites in my family to help
me build myself back up, and it took me four

(12:44):
months and I'm here.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
So after amazing.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
So after after our interview, everything just went down. Even
as far as the podcast, I was getting ready to
do things, just start break it and happening. Couldn't figure
it out because me being me, I can start one
thing more than one thing at one time. So me
starting up this podcast, me making this sauce, me trying

(13:12):
to figure out this website, me working on the skincare line.
I did four things unknowingly but knowingly, and then it
was like, okay, most hoigh, what do you want me
to do at this point? Because excuse me, I got
so much going on is drama everywhere within my business.
I don't like it. So at this point I'm getting raided,

(13:33):
shut down, hit the pressure mode and let this loopers
take over because I'm tired. That's how I got.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
So after the interview, your orders just went skyrocket to
the plane where your website just crashed and you did
not know why. Maybe right here in Poria, I've already
sold over two hundred products just up and down the
East coast.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I've sold over two hundred products. I am when I
say shock, it's a mind blowing feeling, y'all. It's a
mind blowing feeling to see just to sit here every day,
and I'm not gonna lie. I chop out my home.
I do have a shop, but my shop I do
faces and stuff, and people know they can come there
and pick up their orders. But I trap right out
my house so I don't have too much of an

(14:15):
overhead fees and all that good stuff. I right on
out of here and take it to ups and get
it right to you.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
That's moasan to hear that the show, you know, just
changed your life in a couple of months of time,
just coming on here. So that makes me feel amazing.
You should you happening for you in your life like that?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
That is so dope.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
The Bible say he gonna put you with who you're supposed.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
To be with.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
That's not no story. That story.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
What kept you motivated during the hardest part of your
battle with Loupez.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
My children, Kay having at the time of the eleven
year old son and a five year old daughter, and
I have to look at them when I'm in the
mini flares. You know, when you just feel the aches
and you can feel the flour up coming. I have
to tell my son, give me some water, get my
medicine for me, open it up. And my daughter, she's

(15:21):
so cute y'all reminds me of my sister when we
were little. She always tell me, even in the midst
of my flare ups, mommy, you got this. You know
you famous, right? You know you can do this, right?
You got this, mommy? And I'm like, you know what,
I am famous, I got this And in some days
it's her words because I would be so low. It

(15:45):
was like, Okay, I hear you, baby, you know you
just I hear you, baby, And then going out the room. No,
she gets it in my bed and wrap her little
solf around me and say, hey, mommy, you got this.
My son come in here, ma take this medicine. I
need you up. We gotta have you here. This is
my eleven year old who's now twelve, and my five
year old who's now six, And even to this day

(16:05):
she looked at me and said, hey, you know you're famous, right,
Mami Clockett. Absolutely, thank you. My kids are everything, and
especially chasing the high of the lifestyle my mother and
my father gave me. That's another reason I keep going.
I'm not used to chicken wings and that's it. You

(16:27):
got to give me in a baked potato and some
cauliflower or some spinach on the side. They got some
garlic in it.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
I'm real high maintenance, listen mood, ain't cheat.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
No, so chasing that and watching my mom, my sister,
my brother, my dad be hustlers. That's another thing. Don't
leave me out the circle. I'm hustled too.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
That is amazing. That's just amazing that you that they
continue to keep you going and give you the energy
and stuff that you need. Also for you to recognize
and understand your body when you need ruds. And this
brings me to I was gonna say it, but I'm
gonna say it. Like when I came in here today,
my my producer, he was just like, what's wrong with you?

(17:10):
And I'm like, what do you mean was wrong with me?
And he was like, well, you just don't look like yourself,
you know, And I'm just like and and the truth
of the matter is like I'm not myself. But I
still have to continue to like to show up and
do all of the things, because what is the excuses
gonna do?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Right?

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Ex excuses. You know what I'm saying, I still have
to show up. I still have to work.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
I still have to give the people what it is
that they need, what they won't and in all honesty,
like this is an outlet for me as well. So
I just say that to say, like when he could
recognize that something is wrong with me, it's good just
to be around people that notice that something is wrong
with you, that your energy is off, that you're not yourself,
and that take take them to have additional time to

(17:54):
kind of like talk with you, even if you don't
want to talk about it, because I was very vague
about it, like because I'm just like you know, I'm
still here to do what it is I need to do.
Time waits for nobody, you know what I'm saying. But
I still have to in my lone time to do
self care and do what is that I need to do,
continue to show up to the to continue to show
up to the world.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Full effect, properly. Right, So that's good that you have
that around you. How has thank you? I appreciate it.
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
How has living with loops shaped the way you see
yourself and your purpose?

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Recently, I lost a family member y'all forgive me for
tearing up. I had a cousin named Angela and Angie
had loopis, and when she passed away this year, I

(18:55):
think the reality check keep me right in my face
because even with having Lucas Slie to me, I'm normal,
you know what I'm saying. You want that sense of normalcy,
you feel like you're normal. You could defeat the world
for sure. Watching my cousin pass away from a distance
because I wasn't I didn't get a chance to visit

(19:17):
her things like that because I was with my business
family understood. But watching her stay in high spirits when
she knew she was at the last end, she was
finishing her race with lupus and with life, it broke
me down. That's what broke me down, because it was like, God,

(19:41):
we have the same illness, the exact same illness, and
I'm watching you tell the family in the world like
this is it. She was throwing hints that this was it.
So at that moment, it was like I wanted to
give up. I did because it was at this point,
you can't defeat this thing. You can't defeat it. Even

(20:04):
when you're eating right, you're going to sleep you're doing
everything you're supposed to do, taking your meds. You can't
defeat lupas. And in all sorry, y'all, I'm holding the
water bag and all reality, I've been defeating it. I've
been defeating it as of eight years. I've been defeating it.
So it was like, Okay, I can stand, but I did.

(20:27):
Everybody saw it. It was on TikTok, it was on Facebook,
it was on Instagram. I put it across my whole
social media so people can see I'm still human. I'm
still human. Yes, I have an illness. Yes I'm having
a mental breakdown due to my illness, but I'm watching
other people affected with it, so watching that it just
gave me more strength to say, oh no, oh, no,

(20:50):
giving up. It's not an option either. You're gonna lay
down and let it defeat you and be backing a
severe flare up. And now keep in mind, my severe
flare ups called me to become a paraple, legion, my
internal or get shut down, my throat closes up. I'm
completely done. And then I thought about my mom and
my sister and my dads that were there at the

(21:12):
hospital with me when I couldn't do anything. I couldn't talk,
I couldn't eat, I couldn't bathe myself. Why would I
sit here and let Lucas defeed me knowing one I'm
no good, dead and gone. Two my sister, my brother,
my mother, my fathers, They're gonna have to miswork just
to sit at DCU hospital with me. That's torture for sure.

(21:34):
And then I'm torturing my kids. And I'm about to
take the easy way out because I just want to say, fie,
I give up. But instead of doing that, it was
like get up, like really, get up, get up. You
have to keep going. There's a mission in front of
you that you feel like you can't touch, but you're
touching it. So sorry, y'all, just get up.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
It's okay, don't be sorry.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
And to see me standing now against all odds of
being talked about, being laughed at, people trying to steal
my business from me, people trying to say that I
owe them when I owe you nothing, when I've created
this state. No, I'm not giving my nothing to nobody.
It's my turn to take my credit. It's my turn

(22:24):
to tell lupis I listened me? And you, lady, we're
gonna have to face off at some point me and you,
so we faced off. I got I got her out
the way. So since I got her out the way,
I've been, Okay, I've been.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
That is so dope.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
I'm so glad that you made that choice because at
the end of the day, all of our stories are
different and we all have a mission here. You know
what I mean, and God has the last say so,
so never look at somebody else circumstances or question as
to why you haven't finished your mission yet. You don't
know why he took her. You understand what I'm saying,

(23:04):
and it's a host of a community out here, including
me that if you are going through those things and
you feel like you don't have an outlet, I believe
I gave you my direct number, so you know I
now though, these are classes that I teach as well.
You know, not only do I have a podcast, but
I offer classes as well if you go to my website.

(23:24):
So I am a life coach. I am STARTI finding
a lot of other things that deals with healing and
acceptance and all of those things.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
So I am here not just for.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Selling out your skin, but I'm here to help you
emotionally and spiritually mentally as well. So yeah, I'm glad
that you made the decision to get up because you
do have a mission and that it's very selfish of you.
That would have been very such selfish of you to
just give it all of it because there's people that
care care about you. I'm saying, I'm glad that you

(24:01):
came through and came to so just remember next time
you can sit.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
In it, but not too long.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
That's it, is it.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
We're gonna move on to entrepreneurship and business. You're the
founder of not just one, but two successful businesses, Azora
Organic Skincare and Azora Home and Stay. What inspires you
to Well, you already told us what inspired you to
start them, So I'm gonna ask you what is the
next step?

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Is there a next step?

Speaker 3 (24:31):
There is a next step coming, it's actually in the works.
But I'm a backtrack for a split second. What made
me start a Zora Home and Stay. I am a
nurse by trade, so big and seeing friends and having
coworkers that were travel nurses. They will come back and

(24:52):
tell me the story or tell us the story because
I worked in the hospitals with them. I'm in a
rinky ding hotel. I gotta stay over here. They don't
treat us well, and it's like, you know what a
zoor home and stay. I want to make sure that
you're able to bring your pets with you, bring your
children with you, your husband, your significant other. Because you're

(25:13):
out there six months, eight months, six weeks, twelve weeks,
you don't know. So I know people that have detachment
issues or abandonment issues, and you want to have that
comfort blanket with you, whether it's your dog, your children,
and your husband, get pet, I don't care. And finding
apartments and homes houses. Actually that allows you to do that.

(25:36):
That allowed me to do that. That's what made me say, okay,
you know what, I'm building my empire. Now here we go.
So I started it, but I recently put it on
palls because skincare has taken over my entire life.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Right now, that's a blessing. Skincare gonna pay for that
at home, insane.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
I'm telling you, So now hold on. What was the
question against this?

Speaker 1 (26:03):
What's next to come?

Speaker 3 (26:07):
What's next to come? I don't know if I should
say it or not. Andy, listen, just for me, my
one of my biggest inspirations believe it or not. Outside
of my mom and my sister, my brother, my media
family is and I know y'all watch Love and hip Hop.

(26:28):
Judge yourself, don't judge me, don't worry about me. Is
Yandy Smith Harris. I mean how she has created love
and hip hop. And I was a little girl watching her.
So now as a grown woman, it's like, hey, Yandy
did it, I can do it. A couple of people
Mona Scott did it.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
I can do it.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
I can make my own. So not too far down
the road. But what's to come is I'm currently working
on a show called Making Bosses. I have seven young
ladies underneath me, current that have all and they made
me laugh. If y'all go look at my birthday August twelfth,

(27:08):
well not August twelfth, August seventh, I believe it was.
We went out for my birthday and everybody that was
sitting at the table, they were all looking at me,
but I was looking at them like I'm proud of
my circle. Like everybody has a business, whether I helped
you or didn't help you, everybody has a business. And recently,

(27:28):
sorry me and his nose rings, get reet snashed out.
Recently one of my girls, Iris, she called me and
she said, no, not Iris, it was one. She called
me and said, hey, you remind me of Natalie None
without the drama. You don't mind helping people, You don't
mind sharing and posting other people videos and stuff like that.

(27:51):
And I said yeah, because I would want y'all to
do the same for me. When y'all see my stuff, share, post,
like follow, tellpeople. So now it's like I have there's
seven of them under me, and they looking at me like, yay,
what you about to do? What you gonna do with us?
And I recently told them in the group chat, I
am going to have a show, y'all. Just hold on.

(28:13):
We're working on some stuff in the background, but I'm
gonna create this show called Making Bosses. It's seven girls
out and turned into bosses. Everybody, whether I'm enhancing your business,
help you create it, and we go to brunches, we're
gonna take trips. We're gonna do this thing. And I
wanted to be yeah, y'all, it's gonna have a little
bit of drama, a little bit, but it's not the

(28:33):
drama like the shows. It's the drama like you get
to see one of my girls has been inconcrated before,
you know what I'm saying, and she had to find
her way. So you're gonna see her life. You're gonna
see my everyday life with me battling with Lupe's and
having to get up and go in this shop, dealing
with crazy clients when they called and tell me, hey,

(28:54):
my all ain't got here yet, and I'm up here
on the computer stressing out because I'm like, I gotta
get this dead day, fussing and cussing, but I'm still
giving a love because I want you to come back.
I'm not a nasty person, so that's what's actually in
amaking for me.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
That is dope.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I can't wait to I can't wait to see it.
Hopefully when you get it a day and time for
your lunch, you come back on here for your lunch
actually before you play. So I'm looking forward to it.
I do always, if you can remember, always have my
guests read out the comments. So thank you guys for
tuning in to Lucas as My Face podcast. We are

(29:31):
live every Wednesday at six thirty on platforms. You want
to go ahead and read some of these comments that
we got. She's clapping and you still comments, got to
read them out live comments.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Vitamins like antioxidants protect the skin cells from free he
putting them on. I just yeah, I'm here, help with
agent signs and uh oh my dad is here. I
made that, and my godmother is here. Continue to Growtary

(30:11):
as a person and your business. Yes, anti inflammatory which
can calm irritated skin and fight. Yes, money drummer, that
is my that's my sister. That's who I told you
was at the hospital with me. Yeah, that's we got.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Was that all of them?

Speaker 3 (30:39):
It's a lot. They're still popping up. You gotta oh,
I gotta go back to the beginning. Here we go.
Oh yeah, they'll go. One of my young ladies right there,
Miss Irish, Oh, hey, come, thank you. This the community,
it's not just my family. The community is pulling it.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Okay, thank you guys.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Hey y'all. And then up here on my TikTok, I
have I've made a really good friend of a big
sister type thing we have going on. Cindy, Hey, I
see you up here. Hey she definitely yes, the village

(31:27):
definitely calls me and say, hey, get up and let's
get it done. Then you know what you gotta do
get it done. Clock is sidy how.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Much or knows comments? Thank you? Think you think you?
Thank you? So we're gonna move on to empowerment and resilience.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
What roles have the community or support played in your
success as a CEO and a warrior.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Since we've been honest? Yeah, let's be my community here
where I live. Some support you and some don't. I
live in Maybury. If you if you ever watched Andy Griffith,
Hey see I live in Maybury. So what I did
so that the community would support me. I gave out

(32:17):
over one hundred free samples. I put sample kits together.
I had my cousin who does pastries. She made me
little small cheesecakes, little cheesecake bites, and I put them
in bags. And I made my skincare kits, little sample kits,
and I gave them out to hundreds. Once I did that,

(32:40):
certain people were like, hey, I want to try that.
Let me see how that feel on my skin. So
once that happened in my community, it's spread it like wildfire.
Still giving out samples to this day, y'all samples are
worth it, but gave it out the resilience behind not.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
To cut you off.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
I'm sorry we was in a twrying each other voices.
But samples are definitely people don't understand when you have
a business. Sometimes you got to give away free things
just to get a client or all of the clients
because word of mouse does spread fast and people don't understand.
Sometimes you got to give out your mercher, whatever it
is that you got going on, sometimes you got to
give it out free to have that come come back.

(33:19):
So the fact that you understand that is super super dope.
So what was your feedback on giving out all of
those selfs free. Well, let's see, I want to see
if IRiSS for her call. Let me see, from day
one of meeting you, I knew you were meant to
be in my life. You have been a huge inspiration
to me.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
I'm blessed to travel through these blessings with you. Love you, Iris.
That's one of the.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Second Make sure you follow Lupis That's No Face podcast.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Follow her. Well, let's see, Oh she caught me run
that question back one more time.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
I said, how did that make you feel?

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Like?

Speaker 1 (33:59):
What was they feel? How did that make you go?

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Oh? Feedback phenomenal? My like, I said, my neighbor when
I say love her to death, love her down. She
hits me the first of every month and let me know,
just for her because she's on a she's what is
it called income income income, she's on a fixed income,

(34:24):
so for her, her kid is sixty dollars. She's older.
But she literally knocks at my door and say, hey,
it's the first of the month. I got my sixty
dollars in hand. I want my kid and you know
I have it here on hand, so I'm giving it
to her. And my money coming in. And sometimes because
I work with her, I know when the bills come

(34:45):
in the first of the month, she'll get me. On
the back end, I live right next door to you.
I come get my money.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
But so doing something like that with a great turnout,
do that make you want to do something quarterly for
the community? You know, what are you doing anything with
the community as far as you did with my skincare line?
My manager and now we're putting an event together come

(35:11):
May of twenty twenty six, health and Wellness, and I'm
going to.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Have my uh no, I said, okay, yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
We're going to do the sound baths. We're also going
to have aestheticians they're using my skincare products to give
deep cleanses, deep tissue massages using the roles Oi you
that I created.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Yeah, that is dope. I can't wait, So make sure
you let me know when it is we'll do okay.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
So many people with chronic illnesses feel limited. What advice
would you give to someone who wants to follow their
dreams but feel held back by their help.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Don't let your health deplete your wealth.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
M say that again.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
I don't let your health deplete your wealth just because
you don't feel like you're up to it. It could
I'm a backup. It can be just a thought in
your mind. That thought when you hear people on the
spiritual side of the world say, get the book and
write it down. M h, I get the book and
write it down.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Okay, I'll see there. Yeah, preach practice what you preach.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
I have a weeping corner. This is real. This is
my real life. I have a weeping corner and I
have an altar. And as much as we hear you
know TOXY answers, TOXY ancestors, you gotta remember the most
how I created the universes. He created a space for
your ancestors to go So when you sitting there with
that thought in your mind and you like, oh, okay,

(36:52):
well you know what I got loopis so I can't
do it. I forget it. No, I know y'all sit
there with that thought running back to your four friend
and now in your subconscious mind saying, get up and
do it. Get up and do it. Absolutely, get up
and do it. Nothing be trip, nothing beats to try
you get get knocked down. I promise you I done

(37:12):
been hit with about fifteen handmakers that had to get
back up, don't you. Yeah, don't let it. Stop giving
it that entity of death. You're feeding life into your illness.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Stop i'n't put your person.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
The scriptures tell you, you know, why don't you sell
out your mouth?

Speaker 1 (37:39):
That is real life you.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
If you walk around saying I'm sick twenty four seven,
guess what your flow up gonna happen? Then you can't
have that thought in your head no more, because now
the business you wanted to create it's God. Now you
have to really focus in on your health when it's easy.
Stop claiming that entity of lupis. Yeah, I got we
got we have it. Okay, Now what I'm gonna let

(38:05):
you be box me in the ring. No, let me
get up, cause I got financial gains I need to get.
I want to leave a legacy behind for my children,
or my siblings, or my mother family in general, to
keep my name going, whether I'm here or not. So
that's why I live by. Don't let your your illness,
don't let lupis deplete your your wealth. There's a bag

(38:27):
out there for everybody there definite crazy, get it. You
just gotta keep going, that motivation of knowing there you go.
I lived by this room. My mother used to say
it all the time, but I never understood until I
became a grown woman, asking you shall receive, seeking, you
shall find knocking, the door shall be open. Go to

(38:47):
the most high. Some people call them God. I call
them y'all. When I go to y'allho and ask him
is this my mission? Is this what I'm supposed to
be doing? Because the last time I looked in the mirror,
I had wept under my eyes, my throat hurts, I
got the red marks on my legs. But you told
me that hey, back in twenty seventeen, like I talked
to him, you stayed in twenty seventeen. Long as I

(39:10):
keep you first, you wasn't gonna take me backwards. But
it looks like I'm going backwards. But the whole time
I was going backwards, it was him taking me backwards
to go back and grab the thoughts that I had
of creating something. And then it was like, Okay, I
see you.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Now, that is amazing. That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
How do you stay grounded and prioritize self care while
building your empire?

Speaker 3 (39:35):
Meditation? And I'm god if anybody knows terrry me like this.
I told the job before. I used my alphabet CD
and THAC. Once I do that, I meditate. I stay
hydrated with water, I drink tea and believe it or not,

(39:56):
I will call my sister in a heartbeat, or she'll
call me me and tell me I made this clean today.
I made this juice. You should try it. And then
me being me and I'm blue up my juicer. So
I'm using my blender. I'm going to the store and
get everything she said and make it. And I'm gonna
give you a really quick story. I was at my
sister house out there in DC and she saw me hurt, swelling,

(40:22):
I'm crying, I'm lifting when I say this, girl, mean
green juice was with it. By the time she called me,
I told she how you feel because I'm driving three
and a half hours back to Hume for me, So
how you feel? Oh, I'm good, y'all. I had all
my energy back. I didn't feel any pain, nor did

(40:43):
I smoke my alphabet yet. I was just riding the sea.
You know what I'm saying. My sister made me this
juice to help me with my information. That's happening because
my little crazy behind left my skincare so I was
out back. So the information. My sister's like, we're gonna
calm back this thing. I can't sing home like that.
Me and mom, we're gonna figure this out. But we

(41:03):
didn't even have to call our mother. She literally used
all organic fruits and vegetables and made me a mean
green juice and maybe been rolling. I was rolling a
whole You're gonna have to tell me what that that
juice is once we've done so I can put it
so I can put it in the comments so people
can try it and let us know what they think.

(41:24):
You're still up here. It says if you if you can,
Mam said, shit happens. It can make you. It can
break you. How it turns out, it's your choice. That
is definitely our mother for sure.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
What does living well with loopers mean to you? Personally?

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Living well with loopers?

Speaker 1 (41:45):
Yes? What does that?

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Living well? For me is one getting a proper rest
I need, eating the proper foods I need so that
I can be well. If I don't do those two
things and drink nine point five alkaline water or uh,
I would be a mess y'all because I'm hard headed.
I'm honest. I love tomatoes, I love everything. I'm not

(42:07):
supposed to have steak. I'm one of them people. But
in order to deplete that and get that out my system,
I got the rest. I got to eat nothing but silence.
And I'm a spinish baby to death. I will finish
silnd you to death. Because that's let.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Me ask you something. Let me ask you something, my
first question, because this is in my book. This is
in my book that I wrote that you can get
off of Amazon called guy Living with with Loupis or Www. Dolopis.
That's my face a com Do you know you're a
blood type? Yes, I'm all positive and I'm I'm.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Glad to hear that.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
And the reason why I asked that is because they
preached that, you know, all the green things are good
vegetables and feud and all those things that we are
supposed to eat. But depending on your blood type, it's
certain things that you cannot have whether they're good for
you or not.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
So that is why I asked you that question.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
And for those that are tuning in today, if you
do have loops or have any autoimmune disease, know your
blood type and then research your blood type because it
is things that you are eating that cause flare ups
because of the blood type that you have. So it's
things that you should not be eating because of your
blood type. And a lot of people don't know that,
and a lot of people don't know they blood type.

(43:22):
I challenge you guys for that, and the people that
don't know they blood type, please do come back to
this episode and let me know what your blood type
is and then we're gonna go from there.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
But people don't know that.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
People with everybody on there, to figure out your blood type.
And lease moving on to legacy because you said legacy right,
So what message do you hope women, especially Lupus warriors
and men, because men and women have loops right, take
away from your story today? Where do you hope Lupus

(43:57):
warriors take away from your story today?

Speaker 3 (44:00):
That I can do all things to y'all who strengthens me.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
I mean, it's nothing else today. Yeah, I mean for
my Christians, you know, they're saying I can do all
things to God that strengthens me. It's real life days.
People with loop as, we don't have the strength, we
don't have the capacity the capability.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
You are, That is how true.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Sometimes I question myself and ask myself and something, and
people that don't have autoimmunsesse be like, how do you
be doing all of what it is that you do?
And I mean so many different warriors and every last
warrior that I came across are some serial entrepreneurs. And
I just don't know if that's because of the illness

(44:50):
and what it told us that we couldn't do, we
couldn't have, we shouldn't do. As to why we're like that,
I'm still trying to figure that out. But for me,
when I wake up, I'm just like, I leave everything
from the day before, yes, and I'm like, I woke up,
I'm blessed today. Let me focus on the moments because

(45:10):
I rarely get the chance to live in the moment
because I'm a planner, and so like if I showed
you my schedule is crazy, Like after this, I gotta
go to.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
Work, you know what.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
I ain't gonna work doing this, you know what I'm saying.
So I just be like, dang, how am I even
doing this? And I was like, you know what, I
don't even want to question him because he is allowing
me to do all of these things without having a
flair well out having anything. Now I may be a
little delirious because I'm tied or yeah the brain fog,

(45:44):
but other than that, fine, I'm fine. And I learn
like he got something for me that I just I
just I don't know yet. So I'm gonna keep doing
it toil his voice is loud enough for me, he
and uh, just to kind of like do a circle back.

(46:04):
I used to I couldn't stand when I got dinosed.
I used to like me and he was not friends.
We were not friends. But now in today's world, I'm like, well,
why not me, you know what I'm saying, Because people
look at me like you have loopings, and I'm like,
I know that I'm somebody's hope.

Speaker 1 (46:18):
I have been somebody's hope.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
So my job is to literally the people make sure
that I continue to stay healthy. So them looking for
me to help them, it drives me to continue to
be on that that correct path to be healthy so
I can continue to help them because they say, you
don't look like you have loop and it's just like,
what do loops look like? That's why Lupens has no

(46:41):
face was born. So I want to say thank you
to all my supporters, my viewers. Anybody that rocked with
lupus has no face, anybody that rocked with me before
lup face, because you guys keep me going because I
feel like y'all are depending on me in a way
and that I have to continue to produce. And I'm

(47:01):
proud to say that. So I appreciate even you. I
appreciate the whole, the whole overall that. So I just
say that for sure, like for sure, if you could
go back and talk to the version of yourself who

(47:21):
was newly dinosed, what would you say to her?

Speaker 1 (47:26):
And why?

Speaker 2 (47:27):
If you can go back to the new person that
got dinosed freshly, freshly, newly dinosed, what would you say
to her.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Why hold your head up?

Speaker 2 (47:37):
Mm hmmm, Yes, okay, baby, it is okay because what
we're gonna do is be very transparent and.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
Hold your head Because when I got diagnosed, I felt
like a walking disease. M I felt like how people
could get to know I don't have it people STDs,
st I, s h v E eights. Just having that

(48:09):
moment of feeling like a walking infection, knowing it, I
caused it to myself unknowingly, hold my head up, slow down.
It's okay to take a break. It's okay to say
I can't deal with this today. It's okay to tell
yourself mentally I'm not okay instead of holding it in

(48:32):
and then you're putting all this stress and strain on
your body from your head to your feet, and you
don't know you're stressing out your body. My sister said,
it could just be that you put an energy that
matches your own a. Hey see, big sister, My good,

(48:54):
big sister.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Yes, I love you, God, mommy, you put in for
supporting her, for supporting me, for supporting us as a whole.
Thank you, guys much. What's next for your personal and
professional life?

Speaker 1 (49:09):
Well?

Speaker 3 (49:09):
Personal, if we're gonna touch it. I ain't gonna die
deep in it.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
But Ooho said, you all come out here to be
holding back.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Okay, I'm currently living in an apartment with mode OH
and I recently found out that I am living in
the top five toxic modes. So with people with lupus,
I want to tell y'all, look around your home, check
your cabinets, look at your clothes, look at your shoes,

(49:38):
look at your head, look at just look at you.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
The moment you feel as though when you go to
your checkup for your loopus and you see your red
blood cell count, what was up here even and then
this is recently me It then dropped like this tremendously,
and you know you've been doing everything right. Look around
your environment, check your environment.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
It is a hard pill to freaking swallow knowing these
people are torturing me. But not just me. I have
a son with asthma that I have to wake up
every day every night. Some nights I'm not sleeping. I'm
being completely honest with y'all. The nights I can't sleep,
I'm feeling orders, honestly, But to have to sit here

(50:24):
and be like this over my kids some nights just
to make sure they're lives or when I wake up,
they're like this at me because they know what I have.
I know what my son has, I know what my
daughter has dealt with. My daughter was septic in twenty
twenty four and almost died due to toxins. So I'm
learning now what mold can do to people with lupis.

(50:45):
It really messes with our brain fog. It really messes with.

Speaker 1 (50:50):
My law system. Period. That's it. So my question to
you do you have a plan to be moving all?
Like are they going to relocate you? You know what
I mean?

Speaker 3 (51:02):
They don't want to handle anything behind behind the scenes.
We'll talk some more.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Okay, so we're gonna get off that.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
But I thank you so much for tuning in and
a lot of the things that you did say, like
learning your triggers, know your blood type, those things like that. Again,
I did just ritually launch a book, a book you guys,
God living webble loop is. It can be purchased on
Amazon by your author, Savannah Birts, or you can go
to www dot loops has NoFace dot com. I am

(51:36):
also a life coach. I do teach a host of
classes that's on my website. If you guys are going
through anything, please still go to the same website that
could be of help to you. Also, I want to
know what is coming up for you and if you
can tell the people where they can find you in

(51:56):
your skincare line at so we can drop those tags.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
I will greatly appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (52:04):
What's happening next for me, yes, the skincare line. I'm
going to continue to push out these orders while working
on my show making bosses and still in the meantime
in between time of that, I'm still gonna be working
as or home and say nothing changed, but the day
of the week and the time I'm just right now,

(52:26):
I feel like the most I got me and auto pily,
So just take a little moment to catch up, get
everything caught up, while even though I'm fixing what's going
on behind you, I need you to focus on what's
in front of you. On my facials, everybody knows I
do facials from here to Timboks two. If you don't know,
go on my TikTok, my Facebook, my Instagram. I love

(52:49):
doing facials. I love doing extractions, especially the men with
the big beers. Oh god, I love just digging my
finger in there.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
Oh god, love. I love it so and then.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Being able to after I do my face, shoes, my
beer cleanings and say, hey, here's a kid, whether it's
a sample kid or they tell me I'm about to
buy a kid from you. What did you use? And
that's my favorite thing when they hit me with it,
But what did you use my skincare products? Baby? My stuff?

Speaker 1 (53:19):
That is amazing.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Well, you could definitely tell that you are into some skin,
that you have a regular skin regimen, or you doing
something because your skin is definitely going.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
So I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
I love to talk to people that have their online
and they are basically a walking brand of themselves. So
you are a walking brand of yourself. Your your face
look very flawless. Yeah, look very flawless.

Speaker 3 (53:49):
And look I look y'all for real. Ever since I
watched my face this morning and use my skincare kit,
I have not puted nothing else on. This is just
naturally me, no makeup, no not me.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
I love it. I absolutely love it.

Speaker 2 (54:05):
And remember anything that you got coming up new, please
do stay in contact.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
