Speaker 2 (00:24):
Thank you, enjoy. All right, just this way. The training
(00:58):
room is this way.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I lean into my friends and I just let them know. Well,
I know we're about to do this exam, but just
so you know, hm.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
Hm, and Rue is in prison.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
I think she's gonna go good friend to help her, though,
I that's she stopped messaging me back.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
I can't say I'm surprised. Yeah, has she burned down
an orphanage?
Speaker 6 (01:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
It was kind of a lot of words at once
and then they disappear right after, so trying to digest
any of that was impossible.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Oh okay, yeah, is she flying?
Speaker 7 (01:48):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
I've I've messed its chuir a few times, so hopefully.
Speaker 8 (01:55):
Okay, all right through hair, this is our training room.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Professor drosk ushers you into a sort of heavy stone
cylindrical room after you've kind of descended some stairs in
the area, Purple lights surround a cylindrical platform in the
(02:35):
center of the room. Several sigils are emblazoned with purple
magic on various pillars ringing the room. You can see
that there are some statues and things around the room,
and there is another sort of large purple sigil on
(02:59):
the platform. As the professor activates something with the wave
of her hand, you can see the torches get a
little bit brighter and the sigils begin to emblazon.
Speaker 7 (03:22):
There.
Speaker 9 (03:22):
We are.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Welcome to the Malificanum Training room. Here you will perform
your practical tests for admittance into the academy. Do not worry,
this training room is well guarded against magical disasters. She
(03:48):
makes a point to look at the remedial students. Dicker
smiles and sorry, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
At least she's not looking at us.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
Right, true, I suppose me.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
She She's glancing around, and she says, now, I'm.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Sure you're wondering what exactly is required of you here.
This practical examination is important to judge your magical abilities
as they are and your capabilities as they may be.
(04:40):
This platform here is where the trials will take place.
Now you have choices to make. You can either participate
as a group or you can participate individually. You also
(05:01):
have the option of showcasing some of your talents if
you desire it. You can take the easy version of
the test, the normal difficulty, or the challenging difficulty.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
What's the difference? Why would you do that? A good question.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
The easy difficulty will pitch you against.
Speaker 10 (05:38):
Easier creatures.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
However, it may not be best for you to showcase
what you can do.
Speaker 11 (05:49):
Hmm.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
If you put yourself against a difficult challenge, you may
be given a much more difficult test, but you may
showcase your abilities more. While this chamber will prevent your
deaths during this trial, it will not stop pain. You
(06:18):
will feel pain as if you are well injured.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
However you are injured. Okay.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
If you take on a challenge that is far above you,
that will not do you well. Either. If you take
on a difficult challenge and you overcome it well, that
will earn you quite a high score. Think and choose wisely, individual,
(06:56):
group and what sort of difficulty wish to perform.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Dicker immediately speaks up for the remedial students will take
the challenging one. Professor, I believe that one should give
us double XP.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
What's next? Well, I mean on our next piece in mind?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
And you said that there are a points system, so
to speak. Yes, what do those points do for us
as students?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Well, the higher the points, the more likely you are
to be admitted.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Oh, and I look to the two of my friends
and my friend Bill here is able to work with us?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Right? Hi?
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (07:44):
As I said, the written exam and the failures that
occurred during the written exam maybe made up for here.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
I look to my friends, do it Do we want
to do the harder one?
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (08:07):
Yes, if it provides, If it provides more points, if
our reward is bigger, then yes. If the reward is
the same, then there's no need for us to extend
our capabilities.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
I wonder if they have scholarships.
Speaker 10 (08:27):
I have one goal, and that's locating the tower then
has the most magical artifacts.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
Wouldn't that like, you know, if you were just enroll
and then have a library card, couldn't.
Speaker 10 (08:43):
You do that?
Speaker 5 (08:44):
You will without getting.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
In from worse things of that nature?
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Was.
Speaker 10 (08:49):
I thought the point of us doing all of this
for sure, But if the reward is the same, why extend?
And I look down at Iris's hand. Our expose ourselves
to limitations.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
It could be more experience that it could be.
Speaker 10 (09:11):
But is it worth you having long term damage? As
I said before, something's disrupted in you requires time. But
it looks of it a lot.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
By the way, guys, should it be concerning that weird
elf guy knows what XP is?
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Is he a player? The other group is?
Speaker 1 (09:41):
By the way they're like talking, you can see the
other like both Percy and Walhan are like throwing there.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
What do you mean we're doing the harm?
Speaker 10 (09:52):
Who cares about double XP?
Speaker 12 (09:53):
Double XP?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
It's going to be so good? What are you worried about?
You worry too much?
Speaker 10 (10:00):
Mm hmm, I'll raise my hand. Yes, what is XP?
Speaker 2 (10:08):
I have no idea?
Speaker 10 (10:10):
That's what I thought when I looked at the others.
HM this xpece beacause does not exist.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
And he just mentioned it.
Speaker 10 (10:28):
Calamities adding more normalities. They are strange. So we have
to make a decision. The Professor's not going to wait
much longer.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Professor, just one one question before we make our final
decision we are going to work together. By the way,
is there any sort of level suggestion for the harder difficulty?
Speaker 10 (10:55):
I believe what she means is what's the sin it
for us? If we go with the heart one or
the easy one, they both have the same results. If
we have no, they do not.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
The easier the challenge, the less likely you are to
show off what you can do. There will be less
points awarded. Ah, but see if you fail miserably, it
won't matter.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yes, but my question was not what you just suggested,
because because she knew about being a level tense paritist.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
That's why I'm asking.
Speaker 10 (11:35):
Ask why.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Is there any sort of suggestion for a level that
you would recommend for the harder trial?
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Please make an insight and willpower difficulty fourteen.
Speaker 11 (11:51):
Insight willpower fourteen eleven failure.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Okay, this is a new scene. By the way, I
know you have some special bullshit that is activated per scene,
so I'm letting you know.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
I just feel like there's gonna be a way more
important thing that's gonna come up in like shortly that
I should probably.
Speaker 9 (12:17):
Use it on.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
So do these creatures are chosen based on what I
perceive to be your current level of.
Speaker 13 (12:32):
Skill, right, okay, and I'm just going to look to
the others enders. So the point is, if we do this,
(12:52):
it's going to make it so that we are going
to get stronger, faster at a harder difficulty as well
as getting more points.
Speaker 10 (13:00):
Us gets stronger or showing our capabilities. And I'm up
for the challenge, but I don't blame me. What happens
to this room?
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Digger kind of worms his way over to the group
and says.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Do you hear that?
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Hey?
Speaker 10 (13:27):
Why what do you know?
Speaker 2 (13:31):
I I know that you might be worried that this
might be too hard. I just thought i'd let you know.
Speaker 10 (13:42):
There is.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
When when you are admitted into this school, depending on
how well you do in there well initial trials, they
reward you with different things.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
I see we've all been accepted, you see already, but
there's some confusion about how we.
Speaker 12 (14:11):
Might continue here.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
So I thought I might give you a heads up.
Speaker 10 (14:20):
The better you do, the better the reward.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
I just thought you might like to know because we'll
be taking the higher one.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Okay, I'm looking forward to seeing what it is.
Speaker 14 (14:38):
You can do.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
I want to go first.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Why would we go first? Surely you would want to
go first.
Speaker 10 (14:51):
I believe that you should go first. You spoke of first,
and you've seen be confident, and you did take this before.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Apparently, the professor, I think they want to go first.
Speaker 10 (15:00):
Can I? I'm a straight power now, I.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
Wouldn't do it in a way that's physically harming to someone.
Speaker 10 (15:08):
Good about mentally.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
Well, it depends on what you mean.
Speaker 11 (15:16):
Hmm.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
Maybe we should wait until being graded. Otherwise, you know,
it's like jumping in a rail right.
Speaker 7 (15:22):
Yes, no, do not let do not let him eche
you one got this.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
I think they're a little nervous, Professor. They should probably
do the easy version of the two.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
No, we will be doing the difficult version.
Speaker 10 (15:36):
I would really like the.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
Hard core version, the hardest version, the herd too hard in.
Speaker 11 (15:42):
A row baby, maybe not too.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Well. We'll be doing the difficult one as well, Professor.
And which one of you shall be going fast them?
Speaker 10 (15:58):
Of course, because he's such a charming specimen of magical capability, and.
Speaker 7 (16:05):
He volunteered first.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Thank you. I'm so glad that you're thinking of us,
but I couldn't impose.
Speaker 15 (16:12):
Really, why don't why don't you three go first?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I am so curious to see how you will do.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Oh is it because you need to watch how we
do things?
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Well, I'm always watch how you do things.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Professor's looking between the two groups. Ah, I would like
someone from your group to roll the D twenty please myer?
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Okay, low is going going later? Low is bad?
Speaker 5 (16:51):
Ill?
Speaker 11 (16:52):
Low?
Speaker 5 (16:52):
Watch this eleven? That's not too bad.
Speaker 11 (16:54):
Well that's the milk toast.
Speaker 16 (16:55):
Roll well twelve.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Uh so, uh, Dicker says, oh, we'll go second.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Then, surely that's fine.
Speaker 10 (17:07):
You say the lower goes later.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
I don't know what I said.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
What's like the lower in number, as in like closer
to twenty goes later?
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Dicker?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Dicker, No, that's not That's not what I meant. What
I meant was, and it came out wrong, was that
whoever wins the role with a higher number gets to
fucking choose.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Ah, Okay, I said it wrong. It was my bad.
Uh we'll go second, and uh, the professor says, I
don't care. Get him on the desk, all right?
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Are we ready?
Speaker 10 (17:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (17:47):
As we'll ever be, ok unless we can miss for
but then there will be already.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
I guess yeah, I suppose that would be good.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Ready?
Speaker 12 (18:04):
I think so?
Speaker 17 (18:06):
Should I drink a potion beforehand?
Speaker 5 (18:07):
What do you think doping and a text?
Speaker 10 (18:10):
Are you suffering from a man of sickness?
Speaker 7 (18:12):
No, I'm just a little you know what, professor?
Speaker 14 (18:15):
Is it okay?
Speaker 7 (18:16):
If I I didn't sleep very well last night?
Speaker 11 (18:18):
Is it okay?
Speaker 7 (18:19):
If I if I drink a.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Potion, it doesn't matter?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Okay, perfect, thank you, and I'm gonna go ahead and
just fill my mountain back up.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (18:33):
Is our clocks clear?
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Your failure and success clocks? So, uh, they are going
to be reset? Yes, so before you do that?
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Oops? Yeah, I figured. Uh I should have said that faster.
Speaker 10 (18:49):
It's okay, I just ticked off one.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
So uh, the uh the written exam. If you failed that,
you have no bonuses going into this exam. If you
passed the written exam, uh, you will be starting with
U two successes.
Speaker 11 (19:13):
Mm hmmm, very well, and you did one over.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
If you failed the written exam, you start with one
failure here.
Speaker 10 (19:27):
If we pass, your start in zero failure.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
If you pass, you start with zero failures.
Speaker 10 (19:32):
Yes, okay, all right, and you are.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Sure you wish for the difficult exam? M hm, very well.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
Wait so I already have a failure then that is correct.
Speaker 18 (19:54):
Okay, which schools of magic are you the most comfortable with?
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Each of you?
Speaker 10 (20:12):
Please m elemental.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Animals or something Chimerism, that's the one.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Mm hmmm, spiritism.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Very well, if those are the schools that you are
most comfortable with, mm hmm. I want you to keep
that in mind during the exam. Showcase as many skills
as you can and showcase your best skills when you can.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
And does it have to only be in that domain
or is it something that we could bring something else out?
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Your job is to impress understood well, all right, okay, dokie,
difficult exam? All right, it's Moon.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
Moon shows up and just hop that got the entire
costs into space and but died.
Speaker 11 (21:31):
I think they pass.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
As you get yourselves situated onto the platform, you can
see the professor. Uh, there's what appears to be like
a series of crystals that the professor it almost looks
a little bit like Superman's Fortress of Solitude, Like she's
readjusting these crystals in this little little control panel.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Thing, and she's moving them around a little bit.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
And as she does, you can start to see creatures
begin to appear inside this area. Why those bars showing up.
That is not fun. I have to adjust them for
everybody again. Cool, cool, that's fun.
Speaker 10 (22:28):
Let's do that.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Okay, M.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Mommy, sorry.
Speaker 10 (22:40):
Mmmm, let's see we need those.
Speaker 12 (22:48):
Is big Daddy?
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Sorry, you'll have to excuse me.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Chat.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
We had several we had several uh basically, several modules
stopped working after the after our game was patched, and
it has borked several creatures for me.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Okay, and let's see and we need of these. Is
that gonna work? Oh boy?
Speaker 19 (23:35):
Is that gonna work?
Speaker 10 (23:36):
Please?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
No?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Okay, all right, I was just not gonna work at all.
Let's try this again.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Nope, okay, do one of those.
Speaker 7 (23:51):
We scared them into submission.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
There we go. Okay.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
There are three creatures that begin to materialize on the
other side of the platform. One kind of looks like
a big Daddy from BioShock. It has that kind of
look to it. It's obviously some sort of construct. There
is a flying construct of some sort. And then there
(24:23):
looks to be like this. It looks like a woman
with waving red hair, except snakes or kind of growing
out from her arms and stuff and slithering all about.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
And the professor says.
Speaker 16 (24:42):
Ready ourselves, Hello, and.
Speaker 18 (24:50):
Begin.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
All right, I'm gonna add you all to the encounter,
and I think it's time for us to roll some initiative.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
Please, Anders, you probably have the best right.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
If you shift click the group check, it'll bring up
the initiative check.
Speaker 14 (25:19):
Sixth failure for me?
Speaker 5 (25:31):
Okay, supporting, Oh has seven failure for me? Get on
my level, doing great, doing great.
Speaker 10 (25:39):
I just needed to roll group check.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Yes, okay. The number to beat was A nine. A nine.
They are going to go first.
Speaker 16 (25:50):
Hulloh, okay, here we go.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
What now if it's it's it's weaving combat, We're okay,
We're okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
To start things off.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Uh, the woman in the back with the snakes, Uh,
you can see these snakes sort of begin to dance
around and her eyes start to change, uh color to
this sort of red appearance, and they start to glow.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
You all start to gaze at this creature as she
uses a spell.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Hmmm, unfortunately not your kind.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
I kind of gathered when you made two constructs.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Well, what were the classifications for yours? Again?
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Hmmm, at the moment it is a little bit, let
me find out it's down here, so beast monstel plant.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
None of those okay. Uh as she casts.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Oh, I don't like that.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
That's a weird move.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
What does ou do?
Speaker 20 (27:23):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Actually, I need to check on something because it's not
saying what the max is on this. And if she
can target all of you, that's super not good. So
give me a sec Let me just look this up
in the actual book. This is kind of important. Uh okay, okay,
(27:55):
up to three creatures. Great, she is going to cast
us on on all three of you. She will cast
brain melt huh uh huh okay, joke.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
So no, I have no brain.
Speaker 16 (28:20):
Oh that's a.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Hit on all three you lose uh.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
D over which are seven seventeen mind points all three
of you?
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (28:37):
So you just click on the button.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
You should be able to click on yourself. And then
I think you're gonna have to do it. I think
you have to do it manually. Unfortunately.
Speaker 9 (28:51):
Sorry.
Speaker 21 (28:55):
Yeah, okay, okay, and it is your turn.
Speaker 5 (29:12):
Oh my brain ha ha ha, I'd love to go first.
If that's okay, guys, go for it. Okay. Then as
my brain starts to royal, you start to see me
go aha. And as I do that, my main brain
starts to shake like a subwoop or like you know,
like a drop of water and then a lake and
it kind of goes all around me. But as it does,
(29:33):
sound emanates as I use a thundering roar, and uh
so that's what what that what that's gonna do? Is
that all three of them? Now, well I guess let
me read the thing b't chooses any number of creatures
they can see, and each of those suffer shaken.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Just kind of happens, okay, And there is no role
for this, huh.
Speaker 5 (30:07):
It wasn't for the dragon who I stole the move from.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Alrighty, my own special bullshit biting me in the ass.
All right, let's see, hey, alrighty, you see them all
(30:41):
sort of like recoil from this. Uh okay, yes, they
all appear to have been shaken by this attack. Very nice,
bo okay.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
And I think next we're gonna have the large construct
that bronze golam is going to rush forward and will
begin to uh you see it start to like quirrel
its arms as this thing sort of rotates and spins
like a top, and it will do a whirlwind attack.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
Oh no, the world win attack?
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Is it? I don't know, is what you're thinking of?
Speaker 5 (31:29):
We go was it a twister tornado?
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Will wear tornado? That was tornado? Ah uh okay.
Speaker 12 (31:36):
I know I do this.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yes, this should work and select people.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Ooh enders an irish. It manages to rush forward. Bow
is kind of still in the midst of roaring as
this creature spins its arms wildly and will attack you
with air damage fifteen air damage to both of you.
(32:06):
You're buffeted and you're sort of like thrown towards the
edge of the platform.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
And there's like a purple sort of shield that catches
you as you're and it's not like a saw. You're
not like caught gently.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
It's like hitting a wall behind you as you smack
into it from this creature.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Who barrels forth? Okay, w turn is next.
Speaker 10 (32:34):
I can go LUs all right. As we're being thrown,
I'll grab the side of this wall and snatch the
air out of the I snatch the winds, let's say,
elements into my hand and twist them around mine and say, okay,
you're going to be a problem. And as I hit
the ground, I will cast ventis on the air construct.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Okay, uh.
Speaker 10 (33:06):
Hey, why can I oh? Yes, Teeter's argued this right,
m oh it's supposed to take my decks decks you, Yeah,
every time I have you have.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
To do it manually. Unfortunately, okay, roll check decks and decks.
Speaker 12 (33:33):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
You're trying to beat an eight.
Speaker 16 (33:39):
That's crazy, the same thing, never mind, man.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, as you uh summon forth the air, maybe the
air is kind of distorted by the attack that this
uh bronze golm uh just attack you with. But you
you're not able to summon forth the gust of air
that you're trying to and it just kind of veers
off course and it sort of spins around, maybe tossling
(34:07):
everybody's hair, but it doesn't seem to do the concentrated
push that you're trying to do. Strange, Okay, the razor bird,
this was a potential enemy that you could have fought
when you were in when you were back in Syntharis. M.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Let's see here. Uh oh, you can see that this one.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Is made up of various metal bits and things. This one, uh,
I think this construct, you know, is quite obviously modeled
after some kind of hawk.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Right, And as it's flying about, it's moving rather quickly,
and then suddenly you start to see like its tail
feathers separate and there's small rockets there and they rockets
begin to fire, and it flies super fast towards someone.
(35:27):
Let's see if this is set up right as well.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
I have to check every time. Now it's gonna should
be able to randomly target. Let's see if this works properly. Yep,
bo it flies towards you as flames erupt from the
rocket below its tail feathers, and it leaves this trail
(35:54):
of fire behind it as it rushes towards you, and
you manage to roll out of the way.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
Okay, Iris, Okay.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
They said to impressive.
Speaker 7 (36:09):
Okay, let's impress them.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Yeah, and I'm going to go ahead and raise my staff,
calling forth Judikara Veil of sacrifice.
Speaker 6 (36:22):
It'll begin to go ahead and.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Glow as it illuminates the room a little bit further,
kind of with a blinding light as she operates behind us,
kind of like a tear in reality. And she takes
a sheet of like basically it's her veil. She takes
a veil of like basically star dust and throws it
over us.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
And I'm gonna go ahead and give us.
Speaker 11 (36:46):
I'll give us air resistance.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
Since that creature used one before.
Speaker 7 (36:51):
So that's everyone but me.
Speaker 6 (36:52):
You two both get it.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Ah, not condom as well. Interesting, Uh.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
Never gets old.
Speaker 7 (37:10):
Now we have to do the cars.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
Help should be able to click your token and uh
might be able to just drag the resistance onto it
or click it from the chat.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Okay, Uh, new round, there they go first. Okay, I
think we're gonna have uh the echidna go first this
time it will mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
I think you can see, uh the snakes start to
multiply out of this creature's sleeves. They just kind of
start to slither all about, and the snakes just kind
of like double up. It's almost like she's cast some
sort of cage bunching on the snakes. As they begin
to they just kind of split and separate, and they
(38:15):
start crawling all over the place as a tangle of vines. Okay,
is this gonna work correctly? So all right, let's see
(38:40):
if this works right. Ooh, enders the vipers that begin
to slither all around. You see them like rushing towards
the group. Several of them sort of separate and head
towards you. And this is going to be a twenty
versus your defense. And you were hit for two twenty
(39:00):
three poison damage. To feel their fangs sink into your
feet in flesh.
Speaker 10 (39:09):
As they do, you'll see me get impacted by each one.
There's no expression change on my face.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Alrighty, whose first?
Speaker 5 (39:27):
I guess I can attack.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
I will.
Speaker 5 (39:31):
Cast my gaze at the giant ball tub looking man
resembles a big daddy, but not in that way when
a bio shot kind of way. Yeah, I'm going to
cost breezing breath at him.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
That is a hit. I love how it turned upside
down for the animation.
Speaker 16 (39:58):
Great h Yes.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
As you begin to freeze this creature, you can see
that it still hadn't quite recovered from its last attack,
and it's sort of you see the ice to begin
to travel up its legs as it begins to slow
down from this sack. Very nice.
Speaker 5 (40:22):
They take an extra five points of eye damaged because
they're shaken, not stirred.
Speaker 10 (40:29):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 5 (40:30):
I don't know how to stuff.
Speaker 10 (40:32):
No hens.
Speaker 11 (40:36):
Could do it with the pseudopod.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Try don't not work? I worked, okay, uh, alrighty uh?
Is that it for your turn bow?
Speaker 5 (40:51):
That is it for my turn bow?
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Curd The razor bird whips out out a fucking gatling
gun from underneath its wings. You see these little panels
open up as it begins to fire at two of you.
Let's see which one will be the victim.
Speaker 11 (41:15):
Steve's not it, You're our tank.
Speaker 2 (41:19):
What do you mean? Not it?
Speaker 5 (41:21):
I mean, don't worry, not a fear.
Speaker 10 (41:23):
I will.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
On Iris and Bow. Let's see what we can do
with that. Let's have some fun. Let's have some fun.
Speaker 5 (41:39):
M m hmmm, Arnist hanging there.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
I think.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
I think we're gonna get advantage on both you and
Bow get a plus four Okay, so that should do
eleven damage. Uh, Iris and Bow make sure to apply
that to yourselves. And yes, the next creature to hit
you's gonna get a plus four Alice attack.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
All right, who's next?
Speaker 3 (42:28):
I I'm gonna go ahead and go next, because otherwise
we're gonna have some trouble here.
Speaker 6 (42:35):
So first of all, I'm.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
Going to go ahead, and I'll grip my staff and
look back towards Enders as I select him as my
cognitive focus.
Speaker 11 (42:44):
Now, this is something new.
Speaker 14 (42:46):
It's kind of something that you you feel some sort of.
Speaker 7 (42:51):
Like presence over you, like you feel you feel truly
seen here.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
In this moment, and this is going to go ahead
and reduce the out of mana that I spend on
a heel as well as what is it, as well as.
Speaker 7 (43:06):
Giving them more HP for this.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
So first and foremost, I'm going to go ahead and
I will cast a heel upon both of us. And
what that will do for me is it'll be ten
to heal myself and then.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
It'll remove how much for you?
Speaker 11 (43:27):
I think it's just the four, so it'll be another four.
Speaker 7 (43:32):
So I'm at eighteen mana. Now we have a few
we have a few things to get through here. So
you're going to get sl plus two, so that's an
additional eight HP on top of the forty HP. And
then you're gonna get healing power, which is gonna.
Speaker 11 (43:48):
Be twelve HP.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
And then you're gonna get support magic, which is gonna
give you our bond strength to your next role, so
plus two.
Speaker 11 (43:56):
So I don't know if that fully heals you, but
hopefully it does.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
You effectively got sixty HP healed bo and.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
Uh no, just myself and Andrews because both okay, thank you, Yeah,
I'll do that. Then, yeah, I'm so sorry, and you
get a plus two on your next role from support.
Speaker 10 (44:21):
Magic ohrty, you said something about oh that's just healing. Actually, okay,
all right, all right, let's me have max. I think
then my next role I get relussed too.
Speaker 11 (44:38):
Yes, and that is my turn.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Is going to go as steritist level Tam, I'm shrinking.
It was not lying thirty Okay. The bronze goal is
going to whirlwind again. I think.
Speaker 16 (45:08):
That is a hit on Bow and Iris.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
This thing just keeps wind milling its arms and you
start to feel the air get just spinning around this
area again, and it's tossing your hair in all directions,
and Bow and Iris the air gets concentrated in your direction.
These basically like you're being thrown into a wind tunnel
(45:37):
and you are launched backwards again, smacking into the barrier.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
For fourteen air damage this time.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
And that's seven for you both because you have resistance.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
Okay, okay, enders.
Speaker 10 (45:58):
I am going to look towards I don't know where
and what it's called, but the one with the snakes
instead of attacked me, and I am going to bend
down behind Iris, grip the ground and you'll see these
darkness started to form for my hands and snake over
(46:20):
towards her and then it'll form an image of myself
behind her, and I am going to where is it
that I have to any spells?
Speaker 4 (46:35):
It is for real.
Speaker 10 (46:37):
The image is going to open his mouth and then
bite into her.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
Ooh, drained spirit.
Speaker 11 (46:49):
Uh that that your plus two?
Speaker 2 (46:51):
That was not so not with the plus two and
you and I didn't do you got to do deck okay.
Speaker 10 (46:58):
Okay forgetting a stupid thing not working? What is it?
Roll check right?
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Yep, x X plus modify eat it ten? Ten is
your difficulty?
Speaker 10 (47:11):
There was eleven?
Speaker 2 (47:12):
Okay and you had a thirteen technically yeah, okay, very well,
that is a hit.
Speaker 10 (47:21):
Yeah. So the image of me will grip my head,
pull it back and then sinks things into a neck
and you'll see the snakes come back to me and
roll up my body and then give me back madam.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
So you hit for twenty one mind points there half
the mind points, so you will get back ten.
Speaker 10 (47:48):
Yep, okay, yeah, and I'll stand up and then reset myself.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
Ok doky, new round.
Speaker 5 (48:07):
I'm okay, I'm gonna try it, and.
Speaker 11 (48:12):
Of course yes, I'm gonna try and sit there and
just deal.
Speaker 9 (48:16):
With it more.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
I'm gonna sit down and take it the razorbird is
gonna go first and we're gonna have it. Uh do
a Oh, it's going to do another gatling gun attack.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
The gatling guns starts spinning up again as it will
target two of you, enders an Iris another can you
look somewhere house?
Speaker 2 (48:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (48:45):
So, uh enders an Iris. As this is happening, you
hear the sound of like a loot being played kind
of like accompaniment, and it's sort of in rhythm to
this free you're attacking you and you realize that it's
coming from Dicker as he is starting to play this
(49:09):
like happy melody to go along with this attack that's happening,
and it kind of throws you off, and I'm narratively
leaning into the plus four bonus that the creature has
as your attention is lacks for a second as the
gatling gun is firing and you're listening to Rickard play
(49:33):
a little diddy on his lute and that's when they died,
and just like what And then you turn your head
for a second as this is playing in the background
and it's all like happy plinky plunky, and then yeah,
(49:55):
it's it's just kind of like this happy melody on
the lute.
Speaker 10 (49:58):
Did he oh wow.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
Okay, wow, that was a reach, and.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
It gathers Bow and Iris's attention enders You don't notice it,
but Bow and Iris are kind of like not paying
attention as this is happening.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
And then your snap back to realities.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
You're riddled with projectiles and you will both take thirteen
physical damage. Okay, who's next?
Speaker 5 (50:27):
Me?
Speaker 11 (50:28):
Okay, I'm gonna go first.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
I'm so pissed at him.
Speaker 3 (50:32):
I'm gonna go ahead, and first of all, I'm gonna
heal myself. Oh wait, yes, I'm gonna heal myself first
and foremost back to full HP. And now I'm angry,
(50:53):
and I'm going to go ahead and unleash you to
Kara's attack, dismissing her.
Speaker 7 (50:57):
It's going to be thirty light damage to each creature, okay.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
And it ignores resistances.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
Indeed, but not vulnerabilities if there are already, which is
grow it.
Speaker 6 (51:13):
Also.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Yeah, immediately as this flash of light erupts from Judai Kara,
you can see that snake creature in the background. Snakes
all hiss violent, the sort of several of them. You
see them shrivel up and like turn to ash as
the light cascades over them.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
And they all, all the creatures seem to get caught
off guard by this attack. O kidok.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
I say, remember ray training focused the same target, and
this time I shift from the big bubble boy to
of course having a day.
Speaker 11 (52:05):
Oh, it's just really excited.
Speaker 5 (52:07):
It's just really mormon, I can think because my brain's bubbling.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
Okay, the echidna is gonna go next. I think this
one is going to I think we're gonna see these
snakes start to mass up together again and they start
(52:33):
to spread out, trying to head towards one of you.
Looks like it's gonna be enders again.
Speaker 2 (52:40):
Enders.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
The snakes must have loved the taste of your blood
because they latch onto your legs and inject you with venom.
Another twenty three poison damage from this attack, like tearing
them off.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
As they just.
Speaker 1 (53:04):
They sort of like dissipate the second they've done their attack. Okay,
who's next?
Speaker 5 (53:09):
Bo Okay, I wait until end. I'm gonna go ahead
and attack the be a Kidnea. You called her with
a freezing breath.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
That is a hit.
Speaker 5 (53:22):
That's twenty six points of frost damage.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
Okay, uh, as you hit her with the ice. Uh,
you can see this like scream, sort of welling up.
She's building up, she freezes and then like by the
time she's frozen solid, it shatters and she just.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
Falls to the ground.
Speaker 5 (53:53):
Oh where the snakes go?
Speaker 2 (53:54):
They all dissipate. All thanks, Okay, the bronze Golam's turn.
I think this time we're gonna see this creature rush
forward and try to punch one of you.
Speaker 5 (54:16):
It's not gonna be me. It's never me, Iris, none
of us.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
It rushes forward, winds up with a big punch. It
does a haymaker right across Iris's head as she ducks
out of the way.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
From the attack.
Speaker 10 (54:33):
Anders as I rip the snakes from me, I'm going
to grip where they bit and pull blood up into
my hands and then smear it across my arms and
then open a rift and dig into it to cast
this next spell. I'm going to cast umbra. Oh I
(55:02):
did not choose the target. Oh it's supposed to be
two target soil hold on and I gotta do.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
They be for both that are there?
Speaker 10 (55:13):
Well, we do have the shift?
Speaker 2 (55:15):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (55:15):
Are you going to just got the shift target? Yeah?
Speaker 16 (55:18):
There we go.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
It doesn't matter. You got to roll decks in decks.
Speaker 10 (55:21):
Anyway, I know it's so annoying. Roll check eleven.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Yeah, that is a hit for both of them.
Speaker 10 (55:34):
Okay, not only does it, wait do it the opportunity
happens on me automatically, right.
Speaker 1 (55:41):
No, So if you get an opportunity, that's you get
to do week on the creature. So that's if you
get a crip, basically you get to do week as well.
Speaker 10 (55:54):
All right, there you go.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
Okay, let's see, so they're going to take your high
roll plus fifteen, which would be twenty one as well.
Same thing, right, yeah, same, okay, Yeah, you see this
(56:16):
dark What does it look like when you hit with
this DERs?
Speaker 2 (56:20):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (56:20):
Yeah, So I brings my hands into the void and
once those rips open up on the both sides of
these creatures, these large, dark clawed hands comes up and
slams them into each other and then dissipate, and so
storm a storm will hit and as the hands rip out,
I will then stagger a bit and step to the
(56:42):
end of the platform and then regain my footing.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
You see these shadows sort of tearing into the creatures
bring you hear like rivets pop and break as the
metal kind of like bends where it where it connects
the razor bird in particular, er looks like.
Speaker 12 (57:01):
It has Uh.
Speaker 2 (57:02):
It took quite a bit of damage. Okay, year round
they go first. Uh, you kildnuh is out of combat. Okay,
let's see.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
I think we're gonna have the razor bird go again.
This time it's gonna do. It's going to do uh
(57:44):
a dive attack and let's see will target this. It works,
It does work, but it misses uh andrews. You see
this razor bird fly towards you. You spin out of
the way as this as you see these razor tipped
(58:06):
feathers slice past you, You spin and just like the
barest hint of a part of your clothing just gets
sliced like like it's butter, just from the razors feathers
of this creature. It slices through the air, flies past,
circles about, and you can see like sparks falling from
(58:27):
it where it has taken damage.
Speaker 2 (58:29):
Okay, who is next?
Speaker 5 (58:33):
H I would like to aim at the bird and
fire a slime shot at the bird.
Speaker 2 (58:42):
Okay, is this a ranged attack? What are you attacking? Oh?
Speaker 5 (58:47):
Oops, it was a range attack, yes, because as my
class mutant allows me to turn my physical attacks into
range attacks. My unarm strikes even into range attacks. It
would have been a thirteen to hit.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
This razorbird is now flying close to the ground. It's
technically still flying, but its status is no longer flying
after it did that dive.
Speaker 5 (59:09):
Okay, I think either way, my attack ignores the flying and.
Speaker 2 (59:17):
You had the kidnap targeted. But this is still a hit.
Speaker 5 (59:21):
Okay, my bed and then as I hit, I should
have done this before, but I forgot, So no takesie backseas.
I'll do it only just for this one creature. I'm
gonna use my mutant thing called it. What's it called again,
(59:41):
It's called Genoclepsis this what I deal damage to one
or more NPCs? I learned their species, and then you
tell me what their theyoforms are, so like, you know,
is it flying?
Speaker 10 (59:51):
Is it this or that?
Speaker 5 (59:51):
And then I'll be able to like, you know, see
that these are constructs.
Speaker 2 (59:56):
So I don't know if you're still able to get
the benefits from those.
Speaker 5 (01:00:00):
I would do because species construct is a species and
a higher level crimeras can in fact.
Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
Even copy construct.
Speaker 5 (01:00:10):
Yes, what, but that's for crimerism for mutants. That's a
whole different ball game, and it doesn't Mutants don't care
about nothing. I just need to know what their what
their species is.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Okay uh yeah, this is our Pactida are pack okayida?
And you do this for both, I mean just the one.
Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
I should have done it earlier than I would have
had a feather three, but I forgot about this, so
it's just the one.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Yeah. Uh that and electrophora.
Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
Okay, I will yeah, I'll use half my hit points
to to to get those abilities. So you see, Bore's
a ball of slime start up, develop these weird looking
floppy slime wings again that kind of just look like
(01:01:08):
smaller round slimes. To the side of him. They start
flapping really fast, like a lady bird or something. And
then all of a sudden, you kind of heart as
a they started generally electricity and I'm a born.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Very cool, all right, such you define okay, alright, I
assume that's it for your turn bow mm hmmm, all right,
the bronze golams turn Uh, you no longer have resistance
(01:01:45):
air resistance, correct, because Jikara was dismissed, So make sure
that you take that off bow and enders that's on
your effects page.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Okay, little magic wand Dan it is gonna trying whirlwind again.
There's a hit on Iris and Bow for seventeen air damage. Again,
(01:02:13):
you're just like tossed. It looks like pinball is going
on inside this barrier as you see Bow like smack
it to Iris and they both go splaying out into
the barrier around the platform.
Speaker 7 (01:02:27):
Oh are you okay?
Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
I'm good?
Speaker 5 (01:02:30):
I think yeah, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Who's next?
Speaker 10 (01:02:36):
I can go? Maybe I'm going to talk again. What
you said this about is not flying anymore?
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Correct? Well, it's technically flying, but it's low on the ground.
Speaker 10 (01:02:48):
I got you. It's like covering whatever. All right, Oh,
go for it? Should I roll check first and then
do this?
Speaker 20 (01:02:55):
Well?
Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Yeah, CoA okay, let's see if I hit it.
Speaker 10 (01:03:01):
Okay, it's a ten.
Speaker 1 (01:03:04):
Okay is this versus I assume this is versus magic defense.
I don't know what you're doing.
Speaker 10 (01:03:08):
Oh yeah, yeah, it'll be a spell. Okay, I'm going
to draine vigor no ten anyway. Well, so what I'm
going to do is you'll see me move at a
fast speed. It's almost like a blink, and I'll end
up behind the bed and I'll engole fit and then
rip at it and instead of seeing metal and spoks,
(01:03:30):
you'll see some kind of life source flow from out
of it and come into me, and I'll blink right
back behind the party. Oo is it's for twenty one, okay,
and it stills it's vigor. But if it's drained to zero,
I don't get any I believe it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
So you can see there's some kind of like, uh
if you you can see, I think like the shadow
creep into the joints of this reacher and it kind
of like it it sort of spasmodically tries to flap
its wings and you just hear this like horrible like
creak like and breaking like.
Speaker 2 (01:04:13):
As it it tries to turn its gaze towards you,
and its head just kind of like unscrews and like
b boom, boom boom, and it falls to the ground.
Speaker 10 (01:04:25):
And then I'll just rip out his wings. I guess
I'll just rip his wings off and then come back yep.
Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Okay, So I'm gonna say so. It just says that
you recover more if it was reduced to zero, So
I will say that you are going to recover.
Speaker 10 (01:04:43):
No, no, no, if it's reduced to zero I recover none.
Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
So for example, it was no no, no, no no.
Speaker 11 (01:04:50):
So it says if the loss was reduced to zero,
so if it still.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Loses HP, so you still get this. Okay, okay, so
you get ten HP. Sorry I read that wrong. No,
you're all good.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
It's confusing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
Yes, the razor bird bet a whack. The razor bird
just kind of like falls to the ground. Uh disabled Okay,
and the ron's golm has already gone iris.
Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
I look to the others and I nod, you're doing great.
And I am dealing with a horrific headache. Now I
am in my head is pulsating in pain. I grip
my staff, and anybody who can read auras or anything
of that nature or would be able to see it,
(01:05:45):
would see me condensing my manner and trying to concentrate
it like through a pinhole. Essentially, as I go ahead
and first select the creature.
Speaker 11 (01:05:59):
As my cognitive focus.
Speaker 7 (01:06:01):
Now with that, I'm going to go ahead.
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
Since it is shaken, I get a bonus equal to one,
So I get a plus one bonus.
Speaker 14 (01:06:09):
To my tax and.
Speaker 3 (01:06:12):
My MP is now the cost is now reduced by
four times two, So my skill level times two, and
so I'm going to cast lux but four two.
Speaker 9 (01:06:24):
MP at this creature.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Wow, alrighty, so.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
That brings me down to six.
Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
How do you destroy it?
Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Everybody would kind of see me sort of leaning into
my staff pretty heavily. I used a lot of mana
very quickly, and with that reduction, my eyes become even
more focused on this target. And all of a sudden,
the mana just is in the form of light that
(01:07:01):
from my arm all the way up into the crystal
of my staff and launches a laser beam towards this construct,
shattering it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
It falls to the ground. The remedial students outside the platform.
Speaker 11 (01:07:25):
Wow, how was Wow?
Speaker 19 (01:07:28):
We have to write them now?
Speaker 5 (01:07:30):
How do we?
Speaker 10 (01:07:30):
What do we?
Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
How do we?
Speaker 3 (01:07:32):
What do we?
Speaker 10 (01:07:33):
What do we do?
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
Do we?
Speaker 22 (01:07:36):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
Okay, I shoot a nasty glare towards Dicker.
Speaker 10 (01:07:41):
When's the hard part?
Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
Well done, Well done, the challenging pot. Confidence is good,
arrogance is not. Remember that.
Speaker 10 (01:08:00):
You may step down.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Well done, serious, well done.
Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
In trouble with teacher, she said there was gonna be
a challenge, and I'll just keep mumbling.
Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
As you descend from the platform, Uh, you can see
the others looking not very confident. Uh, you can see
the remedial students look at each other.
Speaker 12 (01:08:28):
You should do this one hard.
Speaker 11 (01:08:31):
I don't think we have a choice now, like our
stupid big fat.
Speaker 12 (01:08:34):
Mouth just whoa.
Speaker 7 (01:08:38):
So you're all doing the hard one right?
Speaker 12 (01:08:40):
Hold on.
Speaker 10 (01:08:40):
I can't wait to see your abilities.
Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
Now, what's fat here? Okay, I don't think that that
was appropriate, Percy?
Speaker 20 (01:08:49):
You want us to do hard?
Speaker 16 (01:08:52):
Look at what they just fought.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
Well, they did it. We should be fine. I wouldn't worry.
You won't be fighting same creatures anyway. You won't. No,
then you would have some sort of advantage being second.
Jigger looks like his master plan. You just you hear
(01:09:16):
like glass breaking inside of his head?
Speaker 11 (01:09:19):
You know that?
Speaker 14 (01:09:20):
Like nasty I got you kind of smile like that.
Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
I give that to him, of course.
Speaker 11 (01:09:28):
Not.
Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
What do you think I am some sort of an idiot? No,
it's on the platform. It's your turn next.
Speaker 10 (01:09:34):
Are you ready for any challenge?
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
See, you don't worry. Tuggi has it. He's got this.
As they begin to climb onto the platform, while In
and Percy don't look so confident as they begin to
climb up onto the platform. Okay, the professor gets the
(01:10:03):
crystals set up.
Speaker 1 (01:10:05):
As as the remedial students begin to take to the platform,
so Dicker says, all right.
Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
So what's a plan. Are we going to throw around?
Lots of magic? I mean, Percy, you've got this right.
Speaker 11 (01:10:24):
What do you mean all I know how to do
is cast a firebolt?
Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Okay, well, dog, surely you've got more of a magic
dust or whatever it is you have.
Speaker 10 (01:10:36):
Right, I have magic dust?
Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
Good, good, Dog's magic dust will save us?
Speaker 10 (01:10:43):
What about you?
Speaker 12 (01:10:45):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
What about me? I'm going to support from the rear.
Speaker 10 (01:10:51):
It's what you always do.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
I know, it's my role in the group, don't you understand, Toggy.
Don't worry, Toggy. I'll come up the plans. You come
up with the fight. That's what we expect of you. Yeah, no, win,
it's the battle.
Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
As this happens, the professor begins to summon forth several
creatures onto the.
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Platform.
Speaker 10 (01:11:20):
Why are you doing it? Are we able to use
IP points when we're coming? Oh three?
Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
Spend them as you like?
Speaker 10 (01:11:29):
Where is?
Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
As the professor begins to summon up various creatures onto
the platform.
Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
Let's see here, we have you a cactus like looking troll, creature.
Speaker 10 (01:11:56):
Oh wow, Yeah, that thing looks fun.
Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Okay. Uh could have been and let's see it could
have been me?
Speaker 5 (01:12:10):
Could have been me?
Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
Yep, there appears to be a horrific looking carnivorous plant
like creature. Sorry, give me a second. I have to
redo all of these creatures, and I'm not looking forward
(01:12:33):
to it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Okay. And there also looks to be like, uh, two
creatures that I think you've seen before, if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
Uh, these arcane lanterns are also summoned as well.
Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
Okay, I just copy this, I should can all right.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
As these creatures are summoned, you see every like the
the the remedial class's faces just kind of.
Speaker 2 (01:13:10):
They they immediately like start to lose all color, like
they immediately get flushed.
Speaker 19 (01:13:16):
Ah. I think maybe the hard ones were probably a
little too hard.
Speaker 12 (01:13:21):
What were you?
Speaker 23 (01:13:22):
What were you?
Speaker 12 (01:13:22):
What were you thinking?
Speaker 2 (01:13:24):
Maybe double XP might be really bad? Double XP is
the best.
Speaker 5 (01:13:30):
It's the reason for everything.
Speaker 12 (01:13:32):
Don't you understand?
Speaker 16 (01:13:34):
We can show our merits, we can show our card.
Speaker 12 (01:13:37):
Plus if we do this, then.
Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
We can get the best loot. I don't I don't
know if the loot is the best.
Speaker 4 (01:13:46):
It's not gonna help us if we fail.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Ricker, I mean Dicker, and uh, what you begin to
see up on stage is the biggest clusterfuck of a
combat you have ever seen. Over the next several minutes,
you see Dicker running around trying not to be hit.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
You see wall In somehow getting really angry and trying
to bite the ankles.
Speaker 19 (01:14:18):
Of the.
Speaker 1 (01:14:20):
Cactus troll, and we see them get stomped pretty flat.
Over the next few minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
It's horrific. They're bloody, they're broken, and as the combat ends,
we can see.
Speaker 5 (01:14:34):
Question, sorry, do any of the monsters cost spells?
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Let's find out, Yes, did any of.
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
Them use a spell?
Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
What?
Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
Did they just slap them down?
Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
M Do the monsters use the spells? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:14:56):
Did they?
Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Yeah? Certainly?
Speaker 5 (01:14:58):
Let the play is the monsters? Yeah, what spell did
they use?
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Uh? It's gonna be numbing gas.
Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Oh from the dragon strap, which is one of the
creatures you could have run into.
Speaker 10 (01:15:20):
My mind points.
Speaker 5 (01:15:24):
When you see a creature belonging to the plant species,
you can cause a spell immediately and learn that spell
in combat.
Speaker 10 (01:15:32):
Out of combat.
Speaker 5 (01:15:33):
Just what do you see?
Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
You saw? It counts. You also see this creature do
pre digestion.
Speaker 5 (01:15:44):
Predigestion. I could eat so much more stuff.
Speaker 10 (01:15:48):
She's loises uh huh all sources uh ten extra okay.
Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
And let's see the arcane lantern does not Yeah, would
have only been from the dragon trap.
Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
These guys are stomps flat Uh. Toggy or tog as
you heard.
Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
Their name, is kind of the only one that puts
up a reasonable fight. It's still awful.
Speaker 12 (01:16:24):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
You can see like he's.
Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
Kind of doing something similar uh to the way that
you seem to be using your bow magically enders.
Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
Yeah, but he's also throwing this like dust at the
creatures as well.
Speaker 20 (01:16:40):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
And he's trying to throw it like at his at
his party, and it just goes horribly bad.
Speaker 10 (01:16:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
Dicker is like the last one standing, and he's basically
just running for his life around this around this platform.
Oh no, and then he and then all of a sudden,
he drops the loot and he starts bare knuckle boxing
some of them, and it goes horribly wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
He gets thorns embedded in his hands from trying to
box the cact role and it's like a horrible sight.
Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
The next five minutes is the most catastrophic failure of
a combat you have ever seen. As you look to
Professor Dross, she's actually face palming.
Speaker 10 (01:17:25):
They were admitted before in the academy.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Are you speaking to your group or the professor both?
Speaker 10 (01:17:33):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
The professor doesn't respond. She's watching this fight and I
think you catch a smirk on her face at some point.
Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
I wonder if they donated a wing or something.
Speaker 5 (01:17:47):
I want just a wing. It's delicacy.
Speaker 4 (01:17:52):
Oh no, no, I mean as in like a part
of the school or something. Because this is I feel bad.
Speaker 7 (01:17:58):
I hope they're okay.
Speaker 4 (01:18:00):
Should I should I help?
Speaker 11 (01:18:01):
Should I heal them when they're done with this?
Speaker 10 (01:18:04):
As the professor says, confidence is one thing, arrogance is
another right.
Speaker 11 (01:18:09):
But I'm not being ragan.
Speaker 14 (01:18:10):
I just mean they might.
Speaker 7 (01:18:11):
They might.
Speaker 10 (01:18:15):
And he's breathing.
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Did they even Down't one of them?
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
They took a few, a few lumps maybe, But they
all look horrible.
Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
They're all like battle, you know, like covered in covered
in bruises, and like small wounds and some bigger wounds.
And you can see. The professor says, I don't worry,
I'll take care of it.
Speaker 10 (01:18:41):
They won't die.
Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
As she begins to heal them, says that was some
of the worst attempts at practical magic.
Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
I have ever seen you think of being a little
harsh professor. Oh oh, my spleen, oh oh talgi is
my spleen falling out?
Speaker 3 (01:19:08):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (01:19:08):
I do not know.
Speaker 10 (01:19:11):
What Quartza Caudle is hungry.
Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
And he moves this paper mache creature over to the
to Dicker, get that thing away from me. She never helps.
Speaker 11 (01:19:28):
True, this is only your fault, Dicker.
Speaker 12 (01:19:31):
What are you thinking, the hard one?
Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
We barely did anything in the written exam. Well, I
just thought it might be our only chance.
Speaker 19 (01:19:42):
Maybe maybe, uh, maybe the professor will be generous and
kind and let us you fel What if I uh,
what if I contact my family and uh, maybe we
(01:20:06):
could buy some things through the university that.
Speaker 10 (01:20:11):
One has resources.
Speaker 3 (01:20:15):
It seems so maybe I wasn't wrong about there are
minutes may if he did donate.
Speaker 10 (01:20:20):
To the school, we should visit them later.
Speaker 2 (01:20:23):
Despite the generous nature of your family, wall hen, No,
this was your final chance. You'll be escorted out of
the university as soon as you are collecting your things,
you may leave. Pfessir, I think you're being a little out.
(01:20:50):
I've had enough of your stupid mouth. You think that
with a silver tongue, you will be able to convince
me that you are somewhat.
Speaker 10 (01:21:01):
No from my belt when you say silver tongue, there.
Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
Is nothing redeeming about you. There is nothing that can
keep you here.
Speaker 7 (01:21:20):
Well to say that there's nothing redeem They're very nice.
They tried really hard.
Speaker 15 (01:21:26):
See she understands us, Professor. Surely one such as you
and your beautiful scowl understands.
Speaker 6 (01:21:39):
Oh no, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
Trying to convince anybody here. I'm just simply just saying,
you know, to say that you're well.
Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
She's in our corner, Professor Dicker. Like Dicker puts his
hands on your shoulders. He's see, Iris wants us to remain.
Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
I think that that is the most important thing we've
We have, of course.
Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Made an impact on the other students here. Yes, get out.
You have ten minutes to collect your things from your rooms,
and then you will have to figure out if you
(01:22:23):
can remain in Infernia at all. Good luck getting home, professor.
Speaker 7 (01:22:37):
Out.
Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
They all sort of look at each other, turn and
walk away out of the room. Now as for you,
Professor walks over to the three of you.
Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
Hi, first and foremost gratulations. That was well done. I
do not say this easily, but it is readily apparent
that all of you are, in fact heroes. Were they?
(01:23:21):
She raises one eyebrow. Sorry, what did you say?
Speaker 10 (01:23:30):
I said, Oh, I just mumbled I'm the hero.
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Would you like to know how you did? Yes? Please,
First and foremost, I was most impressed by you Iris.
Speaker 10 (01:23:53):
You have.
Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
A very capable understanding of your spells. How all of
you must watch your usage of spells. You must be
cautious and be wary of how much your mind can
tolerate the use of such spells in rapid succession. I
(01:24:20):
know that you are trying to impress, but part of
the impression that you are making is your capabilities in
during fights. You may not have the opportunity at all
times to drink potions. Must be wary of that and
(01:24:42):
save spells when necessary.
Speaker 3 (01:24:47):
I did take notes from previously from our conversation. I've
been working really hard on trying to concentrate my manner
and be careful about it too.
Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
So thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
You say this, but you came dangerously close to a
man of crash IRUs. You did well showcasing several different
schools of magic spiritism. I saw the capabilities of an
(01:25:24):
accomplished arconist, as well as the usage of what I gathered.
And I was not aware that you were capable of
such things. But you have also been branching out. It appears,
(01:25:49):
if I am not.
Speaker 11 (01:25:50):
Mistaken, reading really enlightens me.
Speaker 2 (01:25:57):
I was hoping that you would showcase a few other
abilities that you had. But spiritism and I believe.
Speaker 16 (01:26:10):
The esper.
Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
As well as knowing an arcanum, these are all very
exceptional things. You've done well. You are passed enders.
Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
You also did quite well, managed to pass the written exam,
and you have done a rather accomplished job both with
entropy and elemental.
Speaker 10 (01:26:54):
And dark energy.
Speaker 2 (01:26:55):
Yes, well done. Not as varied as iris, but still
well done.
Speaker 16 (01:27:06):
You also pass.
Speaker 11 (01:27:09):
M hm.
Speaker 2 (01:27:17):
Oh yes you I showed a capable use of several things.
Chimerism seems to be your strength, although it is difficult
to tell. I believe that you are some sort of
(01:27:39):
strange hybrid creature, a slime. Yes, well, regardless, you have
passed the practical exam.
Speaker 5 (01:27:58):
Normal writing who eat books.
Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
However, I must inform you that you are not going
to be admitted into the school. Outside written exam was
abominable and you did not impress me enough with your magic. However, Iris,
(01:28:35):
you have gained admittance into the Malificarnum. Congratulations. Enders. Your
written exam was tolerable, your usage of magics was significantly better.
(01:28:57):
You are also admitted. Congratulations.
Speaker 10 (01:29:02):
They have access to the artifacts on the group.
Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
Mars the library. Yes, but the most powerful grimoires are
not available to beginner students.
Speaker 4 (01:29:20):
Oh, I see, thank you, professor.
Speaker 2 (01:29:27):
Yes you are welcome. Please keep in mind this is
most unorthodox. Now, as for your friend who oh yes, Bo, Unfortunately,
you will not be admitted into the university, as I've said,
(01:29:48):
and you may not stay and remain in the matter
of acarnam.
Speaker 10 (01:29:55):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:29:57):
You will have to find residents elsewhere.
Speaker 5 (01:30:00):
But I'm her familiar.
Speaker 4 (01:30:03):
Yes, I could wear him as a backpack.
Speaker 3 (01:30:05):
He can, he can condense, and he sleeps in pots
and things, so it's not like he would take.
Speaker 4 (01:30:11):
Up much room.
Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
I need an insight and will power check, and I
think this is a group check. Yeah, all of you,
whoever wants to participate in this.
Speaker 10 (01:30:21):
You will also keep my urges at bay since he
is the endless manner source.
Speaker 14 (01:30:26):
And what is the difficulty on this one?
Speaker 2 (01:30:28):
Difficulty is fourteen?
Speaker 3 (01:30:30):
I thought so okay, hey, remember to apply your bonds
in the thing in this election process too.
Speaker 2 (01:30:40):
Difficulty is tend to support, but it's fourteen.
Speaker 5 (01:30:44):
I've never rolled a supporting role in my life. So
I rolled a five.
Speaker 10 (01:30:48):
Oh goodness, m.
Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
Okay, okay, she's going to create it. No worries.
Speaker 3 (01:30:57):
I when, first of all, like to use a fabula
point to try and rear roll unless friendship is not. Yeah,
so this is a no role about charming, and I'm
being quite nice.
Speaker 4 (01:31:13):
It might I use my smiling trait.
Speaker 10 (01:31:17):
Well she did impress with Marge.
Speaker 3 (01:31:20):
Uh huh, So if I have to use the priestess one,
I could do that too.
Speaker 10 (01:31:27):
Are you smiling like that?
Speaker 12 (01:31:29):
Well?
Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
The smiling trade was meant for social rules to begin with.
Speaker 14 (01:31:32):
Yes, if I'm being sweet.
Speaker 2 (01:31:35):
About it, okay, sure, make you.
Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and use lucky seven on
that reroll, replacing two and making it a seven.
Speaker 5 (01:32:01):
And making it a crit Damn, I figure, how brooking
she was.
Speaker 1 (01:32:08):
Okay, all right, you have an opportunity here. I think
I think that's going to consume it immediately, just to
basically convince the professor to allow Bow as a familiar.
Speaker 2 (01:32:28):
He's not getting his own room.
Speaker 7 (01:32:32):
Oh, that is totally fine, That is absolutely acceptable. But
he can stay with me in a small capacity. He
won't take up any room at all.
Speaker 10 (01:32:45):
He prefers bottles and sinks and buckets, and I don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
Regardless.
Speaker 5 (01:32:53):
Reminds me of my mother, regardless.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
You have your choice of several items for your admittance rewards. Okay,
here we go. You can choose iris. You can choose
(01:33:17):
between three of these things. Let me check on this
real quick. The Blessed Mace and this is thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:33:31):
Yeah, this is under the Infernia items. The Blessed Mace.
The encyclopedia.
Speaker 10 (01:33:54):
Is that how it descripts.
Speaker 3 (01:33:56):
No, they don't have descriptions, but I think they're in
the Core World book.
Speaker 2 (01:34:02):
Uh they should have descriptions. Mm hmm some of them maybe.
Speaker 10 (01:34:08):
Uh oh yeah, some of them don't.
Speaker 4 (01:34:13):
Uh, I'll just past them in here.
Speaker 12 (01:34:16):
Yeah, uh.
Speaker 2 (01:34:23):
Dooranians check on this and the slimy jacket away. Huh.
Speaker 5 (01:34:35):
I didn't do that as promise.
Speaker 4 (01:34:39):
Oh, none of those are very good for me.
Speaker 10 (01:34:45):
Slimy oh that does.
Speaker 11 (01:34:50):
Well.
Speaker 5 (01:34:51):
Just because it's slim does not get it.
Speaker 2 (01:34:53):
M And there's you have the choice between the Explorer's
belt and and the rough gloves.
Speaker 10 (01:35:05):
Mm hmm, rough gloves. All right, well well.
Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
Mm hm.
Speaker 10 (01:35:16):
Week is against might though, I think.
Speaker 2 (01:35:28):
Yeah, weeks mighty.
Speaker 12 (01:35:32):
Mm hmm. The gloves.
Speaker 2 (01:35:40):
You do not have to choose now, but I thought
I would give this option to you.
Speaker 5 (01:35:45):
And do I get anything like a bowl? Or I
don't know, like what if the milliares get? Do I
get like a roost?
Speaker 2 (01:35:53):
That is entirely up to iris.
Speaker 1 (01:35:57):
Unfortunately, we do not make civic accommodations for familiars.
Speaker 10 (01:36:03):
Well, like to Nick, looks so nice.
Speaker 14 (01:36:06):
Yeah, a lot of things do well, we'll think on it,
but for now, what's next.
Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
Next you are to.
Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
Join your rooms and tomorrow you will begin class. Now,
keep in mind you're going to begin class in the
midst of well the year. You're probably going to.
Speaker 2 (01:36:41):
Be a bit lost. But this is a special occasion.
The arch Magister has been kind enough to allow you
into the school. Of course, this was at my behest.
Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
I am your patron, and I am glad to see
that you have not disappointed to me. Let's hope it
keeps that way.
Speaker 4 (01:37:07):
We'll do our best.
Speaker 1 (01:37:08):
The professor sort of hands out a part a piece
of like a scrolled piece of parchment that you that
she says, there is a list of the supplies.
Speaker 2 (01:37:20):
That you will need as well as your schedules, and
you can see there's like a detailed list of like.
Speaker 1 (01:37:32):
Random supplies and things that you might need. It's like
that initial bill, like if you're going to college and
you see like the ship you need to buy in
the school store, and you're just you're the bottom like
falls out of your stomach a little bit because you
see the.
Speaker 2 (01:37:50):
You see the you see this like ah total like
at the bottom or what you might need to get,
and it's just like quills, it's like parchment. It's books.
It's like you need to buy certain kinds of like.
Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
Random shit like plant feed and like crazy reagents and
things like that.
Speaker 2 (01:38:19):
It's that never ending list of school supplies that you
need to buy.
Speaker 10 (01:38:23):
What's the total of the bottle?
Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
It says five hundreds in it.
Speaker 10 (01:38:29):
Oh well, I bought the books. I think we should
go visit our new friends.
Speaker 5 (01:38:40):
I think I really ran off to the bathroom. She
had like the post exam poops or something.
Speaker 10 (01:38:44):
Oh well, she's gone. I heard one had a silver tongue.
I can at least sell for at least a hundred.
Speaker 5 (01:38:49):
Yeah, if you want to steal it, I guess.
Speaker 10 (01:38:53):
So we're going to get a tongue out of someone's mouth.
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:38:58):
Ask wait for him to.
Speaker 6 (01:39:01):
Bet on it.
Speaker 5 (01:39:03):
You know, dice trade, trade your tongue with his tongue.
Speaker 10 (01:39:08):
I have an idea. Why don't we go in the
middle of the night, take the tongue and you take
a piece of your body, form it into a tongue
and place it there. You would never know the difference.
Speaker 5 (01:39:17):
That sounds illegal to me.
Speaker 10 (01:39:20):
Since when are you worried about something illegal.
Speaker 5 (01:39:23):
All the time. I follow all the rules.
Speaker 1 (01:39:31):
The professor hands you this information and says, contact me
shortly with your requested items from the list.
Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
Good luck, I will see some of you tomorrow.
Speaker 10 (01:39:51):
Bye bye. Let's go find arts. Yes, he ran over
in glee.
Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
As Yes, we see our group head further into Malificarnum.
We venture to a different place underground, deep into the
caverns of Ilanshu.
Speaker 12 (01:40:21):
We find Moon making her way.
Speaker 2 (01:40:31):
Towards a.
Speaker 1 (01:40:36):
Bombard and queen nest. Moon tarn has left you here.
Speaker 10 (01:40:50):
With a task.
Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
You have quests in your quest blog for first time
in a while.
Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
Yeah, and yes, your quests for.
Speaker 1 (01:41:12):
Getting answers, finding out why you can absorb emberstone, why
is Tim Cross here?
Speaker 2 (01:41:26):
What is his part in all of this?
Speaker 12 (01:41:32):
And a new quest.
Speaker 2 (01:41:36):
Destroy the threat or leave the veiled to their fate?
Speaker 11 (01:41:55):
I reread it a couple of times.
Speaker 2 (01:41:58):
What a veil? Okay?
Speaker 11 (01:42:09):
And I keep moving forward.
Speaker 1 (01:42:16):
Okay, hows you make your way through the launche caverns.
You come across a few bioluminescent mushrooms. You can see
(01:42:46):
that some of them have Yeah, you can see that
some of them have been eaten. It appears there are
a few new ones that have been sprouted, but a
few of them have been sort of gnawed on or
ripped out of the ground. There are various pockets of
(01:43:12):
light that are given off by these mushrooms. It's probably
aside from the underground lava flows that you came across,
so the only light that it is down here. Okay,
at the moment, you are still on the hunt for
(01:43:36):
this bombard anti queen or as the quest has been
presented to you, do you leave the veiled to their fate?
Speaker 11 (01:43:51):
I have to answer this question now, well, what are.
Speaker 2 (01:43:56):
You hunting for?
Speaker 12 (01:43:57):
Moon?
Speaker 1 (01:43:58):
Are you hunting for the bombard and Queen? Or are
you hunting for a way out or something else.
Speaker 11 (01:44:08):
Well, I'm hunting for the ant queen.
Speaker 2 (01:44:11):
Of course, I don't like to make assumptions.
Speaker 11 (01:44:17):
Sure, what does it smell like in here?
Speaker 2 (01:44:27):
Musty? It smells earthy, probably mildewy.
Speaker 11 (01:44:41):
I've been down and I try and feel the ground.
Is there any moss or anything? Or is it just stone?
Speaker 16 (01:44:55):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:44:56):
It's mostly stone. There's probably some patches of like damp
you're in there, but there doesn't appear to be any
moss in the immediate vicinity.
Speaker 2 (01:45:07):
Dirt and stone.
Speaker 11 (01:45:10):
Okay, it's pretty silent, right, Yes, there might be.
Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
A few drips you hear around, but that's about it.
Speaker 11 (01:45:29):
Mm hmm. I stand a little taller. Hello, no response?
(01:45:54):
Oh yeah, Why is Tim Cross here? Why is Tim
Cross here? And I start mumbling to myself because there's
nobody here, so I might as well just think aloud
under the veil the failed ones? Who's failed? Why is
(01:46:19):
there something in my quest telling me about that that
doesn't even make any sense? What does that have to
do with me?
Speaker 9 (01:46:27):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (01:46:27):
And I kick a rock and I listen to it. Hello,
I feel out in front of me and I start crawling. Okay,
(01:46:52):
and I'm listening. I'm listening to to the ground. It's
kind of wet. I don't have my gloves, so it
feels really weird. But it's like this, like how underneath
a stone feels when you pick it up after a
really heavy rain. It's like, oh, this it's kind of damp, dank,
(01:47:19):
but I swear I can hear something that or I'm
going crazy. Huh, too late for that.
Speaker 2 (01:47:31):
Please make an insight insight open check.
Speaker 11 (01:47:37):
It's just an open check.
Speaker 19 (01:47:48):
Eight.
Speaker 10 (01:47:50):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:47:55):
It's so quiet here, all of your movements and like
the rustling on the ground that you're making, it's just
kind of echoed along the caverns as you continue to move,
armor sort of gently clanging along the ground behind you.
Speaker 2 (01:48:17):
All.
Speaker 24 (01:48:29):
I wipe some sweat from my brow. Oh it's cold,
and know I'm sweaty. This place is weird. Tim Cross,
of course it's Tim Cross.
Speaker 11 (01:48:45):
Oh god, oh.
Speaker 2 (01:48:50):
Oh.
Speaker 11 (01:48:51):
Riley would be laughing at this, maybe even everybody would
be laughing at this.
Speaker 12 (01:49:00):
Oh what a brick.
Speaker 11 (01:49:04):
Just in my quest now, O. Tim Cross sucks. Tim
Cross sucks. M Yeah, because he can hear and my
boots clang across the ground and just start stomping I'm
(01:49:29):
just gonna start making noise. I mean really, but a turn.
Think was down here? What is down here? Nothing? Nothing's
down here, nothing's down here, walking alone in the dark,
talking to myself. But I found aln't you. That's something.
(01:49:53):
That's something, right, that's cool. That's something to tell everybody.
When I get back up to the surfa and I stop,
it's to the surface. How far down now?
Speaker 12 (01:50:09):
Am I?
Speaker 11 (01:50:12):
Well? And I keep walking?
Speaker 12 (01:50:17):
Just make another inside check open.
Speaker 11 (01:50:27):
Seven.
Speaker 1 (01:50:30):
You're walking for a while, moon, you lose track of time,
and it's.
Speaker 2 (01:50:38):
The hard thing to do. It could be minutes, it
could be hours.
Speaker 1 (01:50:45):
You just don't know. There's no sun here to tell
how long it's been.
Speaker 12 (01:50:51):
Mm hm.
Speaker 11 (01:50:54):
I kind of blink a couple of times because it
I can't really see any thing, but it's like I'm
starting to see things that aren't there, like buildings and
crates and and stalls and shops, and I'm just blinking
(01:51:16):
my eyes like, well, this is this is it for me?
This has got to be it.
Speaker 10 (01:51:26):
And I.
Speaker 11 (01:51:28):
I wave, I wave at someone that passes me, and
they give me this confused look hello, h m hm
hi while they were staring at me. Kind of weird Oh,
and I'm passing by these people, just a bunch of
(01:51:52):
like hustle and bustle. And now I really feel like
I actually have a bit more of a purpose. And
it is, yes, dead silent around me. It is so silent.
But I can hear all these people. I can I
can hear it. I can hear excuse me, excuse me? No, no, no, no, no,
(01:52:13):
two for that, two for that. Hey, hey, hey, get backer,
get backer? Whoa sorry? Somebody steps in front of me.
Little kid, a couple of kids, whole gaggle of kids. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Speaker 2 (01:52:28):
Please make a willpower willpower open check.
Speaker 11 (01:52:37):
That's an eight.
Speaker 2 (01:52:41):
To These people.
Speaker 1 (01:52:45):
Recognize as guild members of main character.
Speaker 11 (01:52:54):
Oh and I go up to them, Hey, we're part
of the same guild. I talk to nothing. In fact,
I might even be in front of a lull. But
there's two people in front of me. How can I
(01:53:15):
not say hello?
Speaker 2 (01:53:19):
As you approach, they seem to glance at you out
of the corners of their eyes and they run away.
But there's this look of absolute horror on.
Speaker 12 (01:53:38):
Their faces as they see you.
Speaker 2 (01:53:48):
And run, abject horror as they scream run from you.
Speaker 11 (01:54:05):
I looked down at myself. Did I say something wrong?
Did I say something wrong? I thought they were my guilt.
I thought they were my guild members. That's maybe I
just had the Maybe just had the wrong people. Probably
just had the wrong people. Well, then I just shake
(01:54:27):
it off.
Speaker 2 (01:54:29):
Keep moving, insight and insight open check please.
Speaker 11 (01:54:42):
Five.
Speaker 1 (01:54:46):
Okay, you walk for an indeterminate amount of time. Feel
yourself getting hungry?
Speaker 5 (01:55:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:55:01):
I tired.
Speaker 11 (01:55:06):
My stomach echoes into the void. She gets some food,
She gets some food, and I look around for any
any food, any food.
Speaker 2 (01:55:29):
It's starting to get concerning the moon, because I'm not
sure how much time has passed since this has occurred
to you.
Speaker 12 (01:55:43):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 11 (01:55:51):
I stop and stand for a second. I swear I
can smell some kind of some kind of cooked protein,
some baked muscle, some salted meat.
Speaker 5 (01:56:13):
That way, and I just.
Speaker 11 (01:56:16):
Changed direction. What direction? I don't know when I'm going
in the direction? H m seven?
Speaker 2 (01:56:29):
Yeah, you collide with a wall moon. Oh, you're gonna
go ahead and take six damage?
Speaker 19 (01:56:46):
M h.
Speaker 11 (01:56:50):
White my nose, it's bleeding. Oh oh okay, so no
b that way. Oh, don't beat, don't beat that way?
Might I start sniffling?
Speaker 5 (01:57:26):
M h.
Speaker 11 (01:57:32):
Okay, Okay, I'm just flailing my arms at this point. Yeah,
walking forward.
Speaker 2 (01:57:41):
Have you ever done like VR stuff?
Speaker 18 (01:57:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:57:45):
You ever accidentally smacked your hand into the corner of
the dresser while you're doing VR?
Speaker 2 (01:57:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 20 (01:57:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (01:57:52):
Or you don't map it out entirely and it's just
like a feeling of your reality just completely.
Speaker 2 (01:57:59):
Yeah, it's a little bit like that.
Speaker 11 (01:58:01):
It's like two dimensional. It's like, oh, that's where that ends.
Speaker 2 (01:58:06):
It's like you actually on the punch stalactite. Ah.
Speaker 20 (01:58:15):
God, yeah, isn't this is supposed to be a game.
Speaker 11 (01:58:36):
Man, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (01:58:44):
No?
Speaker 12 (01:58:47):
Man, you know this isn't a game.
Speaker 11 (01:58:55):
I know, I know, I know. Oh, hey, can I
can I spend? Can I spend an ultimate point?
Speaker 3 (01:59:21):
I have?
Speaker 11 (01:59:21):
I have? I have those?
Speaker 12 (01:59:23):
Right?
Speaker 11 (01:59:25):
You said I have those?
Speaker 2 (01:59:31):
Hello? How would you like to spend your ultimate point?
Speaker 11 (01:59:35):
I don't know. How can I eat? I'm this close
from gnawing on my own wrist. Hi, I want, I
(01:59:56):
and I wipe my nose and a stand up. I
want I want. I want to see I want to
see a light. I want to see something. I want
to see anything, anything, anything, anything at all?
Speaker 10 (02:00:26):
Are you sure? O? Yeah?
Speaker 12 (02:00:30):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (02:00:31):
Am I sure?
Speaker 11 (02:00:33):
There's nothing. There's nothing down here, there's nothing down here.
Speaker 12 (02:00:44):
Would you like to create that one?
Speaker 11 (02:00:53):
What do you mean? Would i'd like to create that way? Yes?
Speaker 2 (02:00:58):
Yes, you spending ultimate point.
Speaker 12 (02:01:07):
The cavern.
Speaker 1 (02:01:11):
Becomes filled with bioluminescent mushrooms. It looks like something straight
out of Subnautica.
Speaker 11 (02:01:21):
Ha oh no oh had I been down And I
pluck one and I eat it without thinking, or just
(02:01:48):
start chewing.
Speaker 12 (02:01:49):
M h.
Speaker 11 (02:01:55):
When I grab as many as I can fit in
my hand, they don't taste for straw rum.
Speaker 2 (02:02:00):
Into my mouth. They taste like nothing. Basically, it's just texture.
Speaker 11 (02:02:15):
Oh, I'm grabbing five, say seven at a time, m h.
Speaker 3 (02:02:30):
M hm.
Speaker 11 (02:02:42):
When I get a grip, I finally get a grip,
and I looked down at the mushroom. Oh my god,
you have no idea, You have no idea. You just
saved my life. You just saved my life that I'm
(02:03:12):
going to be poking in ten minutes. Oh oh. And
I take a look. How many mushrooms are there?
Speaker 2 (02:03:26):
Is it anything?
Speaker 11 (02:03:27):
I can't it's everywhere. I start walking and I try
to avoid stepping on any mushrooms. I just I try
to avoid stepping on any of them. But I think
that's inevitable.
Speaker 17 (02:03:38):
There's everywhere.
Speaker 6 (02:03:39):
Sorry, sorry, sorry, trying not to oh wow.
Speaker 11 (02:03:50):
And as I step on them, they get on my
boots and now there's just blue on my boots. It's
like I'm stepping on a bunch of of fireflies that
are just going off. And my boots are kind of
glowing now. And I pick up another mushroom and I
just kind of I have to mindedly gnaw on it
(02:04:13):
as there's this sort of squelching underfoot, And I look
around and all this blue is illuminated on my face
and in my eyes, and I must look crazy.
Speaker 5 (02:04:23):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:04:24):
What the audience sees is an emaciated looking moon, cheekbones
strooding against her skin.
Speaker 2 (02:04:38):
And bloodshot eyes could have covered in soot. Her hair
is a bit scattered and frayed.
Speaker 12 (02:04:56):
Broken.
Speaker 11 (02:05:04):
Man, there's mushrooms.
Speaker 10 (02:05:05):
It's like.
Speaker 11 (02:05:10):
It's like eating.
Speaker 17 (02:05:13):
No, it's almost like tofu, but not even there's even tofu.
Speaker 9 (02:05:24):
Has a taste.
Speaker 11 (02:05:27):
How if these not taste like anything? How do you
not even have a taste? Oh well, at least I'm
feeling some I'm feeling a semblance of being full. I guess,
so that's nice. Then I stopped eating mushrooms, but I
(02:05:52):
I finished. Someone I've got or someone want to waste them.
I look down in my hands, whoa, and I hold
them up. They're covered in scratches and dirt and cuts,
(02:06:16):
and my nails are long, and my hands are so
you can see the bones and the wrists and the knuckles. Oh,
it's been a while since I've looked at my hands.
(02:06:41):
And I look and I feel like I can really
I can get it together. Does this cavern look like
it leads anywhere? As there something more promising where the
mushrooms are almost more prevalent. I'm just going to follow
the mushrooms.
Speaker 12 (02:07:04):
You created the mushrooms mood.
Speaker 2 (02:07:08):
Well, like a bloom where you were oh oh.
Speaker 11 (02:07:17):
Oh, well, I just follow this bloom until it starts
to dissipate.
Speaker 9 (02:07:24):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (02:07:26):
As you continue down this cavern moot, you start to
feel a familiar feeling creeping into your mind, your thoughts.
(02:07:49):
It's almost like a thirst.
Speaker 11 (02:07:59):
I reckon ignize this feeling.
Speaker 3 (02:08:04):
It was.
Speaker 11 (02:08:12):
Right before I left with Parn one of the last
conversations I had with Parn in Ashrael, and they shot
me the amberstone.
Speaker 12 (02:08:32):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 11 (02:08:36):
I began to pick up my hands at my nails.
I'm aware of how awake I am. I'm aware of
my extremities. I'm aware of my breathing. It's like whenever
(02:09:01):
I look in a new direction, it's almost like I
can feel my eyeballs squelching, pointing in a new direction.
Speaker 1 (02:09:12):
Heard the sound of your eyes blinking.
Speaker 11 (02:09:17):
Yes, I'm just so hyper aware of all my senses
and I don't want to be got. I start grinding
my teeth. Oh ah, my palms are sweaty, and yes,
my knees are also weak, and my arms are heavy.
(02:09:45):
But I'm not hungry, and I'm certainly not nauxious. I'm
just nancy. I'm antsy. Start doing some jumping. Hell, I
start levitating. I'm not even aware of it.
Speaker 2 (02:10:10):
There is something moving. You can hear it, moon, I stopped.
Speaker 12 (02:10:19):
Sh sh.
Speaker 11 (02:10:23):
I immediately follow the sound. No hesitation, all right. You
see this like blurred background where there's really no background.
It's a darkness. But I am going at top speed
towards this sound, focused very well.
Speaker 2 (02:10:44):
There is a grinding sound.
Speaker 1 (02:10:49):
As you approach. There's a tiny bit of light that
is here, maybe from your boots, but you hear more.
Speaker 2 (02:11:13):
And then.
Speaker 1 (02:11:19):
And as the light from your boots moves around. You
see several creatures rolling towards you, and they do not
look friendly. They're sort of bound up and bulbous in
various segments. You've seen these creatures before. You know these
(02:11:43):
are cutter pillars. As they spin towards you. There are
three of them. It is time for us.
Speaker 2 (02:12:00):
I have some initiative role.
Speaker 11 (02:12:03):
Oh, and I scream, I don't have time for this.
I am auntsy and I am full of it.
Speaker 2 (02:12:10):
I can feel it, all right, and you gotta beat
us seven. You can hit your own.
Speaker 11 (02:12:21):
Button there yet twenty one?
Speaker 2 (02:12:23):
Oh yeah, moon, you were going first, damn right up,
going for here.
Speaker 11 (02:12:33):
And I look at these things like, oh, I just
don't have time. I don't have time for you. And
I rush up to the very first one, the one
that's closest to me, and I I take broken revelry
and just aimlessly, almost almost without thinking, just slice into
(02:12:58):
the air.
Speaker 1 (02:13:07):
Okay, that is absolutely a hit. You hit the first
one and slice into it immediately.
Speaker 2 (02:13:17):
With this shoe strike. You see the creature recoil in
pain on this attack. Okay, alrighty uh, it's turn. Okay,
(02:13:49):
let's see the one that you attacked is going to.
Speaker 14 (02:13:54):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (02:14:02):
I think we're gonna see all three of them begin
to roll up. The first one is going to immediately uh,
and they will perform the guard action.
Speaker 2 (02:14:19):
Okay, it's your turn.
Speaker 11 (02:14:27):
Okay, hmm, I'm gonna do the same thing. This guy's
right in front of me. I have almost no hesitation,
no thought. I've still got a broken revery in my hand,
and I am just uh, there's there's this maddening look
(02:14:47):
in my eye that's like, oh, just frustrated by these
things when really they're they're quite terrifying. And it's up
in my face like these these big glowing yellow eyes
are just reflecting off of my off of my skin
at this juncture. It's pretty pretty freaky. But I don't
care broken Revelry. I'm going for it. I'm just slicing
and dicing this thing as much as I can.
Speaker 1 (02:15:06):
Okay, alrighty, that is another hit. However, when you attack
it playing this creatures rolled up, it looks a little
bit like Sonic the Hedgehog, and it starts to spin.
There's a bunch of gravel that kind of gets thrown up,
(02:15:27):
and as you hit it, your sword just kind of
has a glancing blow.
Speaker 11 (02:15:34):
Streaking, all damn defense.
Speaker 2 (02:15:41):
Okay, the next one's gonna go. This one is going
to roll up into a ball and attack you. It
(02:16:03):
rushes forward, moon and spins, but you're able to raise
up your shield and kind of push it away as
it begins to attack, and that is a miss. Okay,
it is your turn.
Speaker 11 (02:16:23):
I'm just feeling this this, this, this tension. There's this
tension that I can't describe, and I'm still smacking everything
that I can that's in front of me. It's almost
like at this juncture, I'm not thinking. I'm just trying
to hit, trying to kill it. So broken revelry again
on this same bug. I'm going to try and stab
(02:16:45):
it this time since it's in this kind of weird state.
Speaker 16 (02:16:50):
Again playing.
Speaker 2 (02:16:57):
It appears to be immune to physical damage while it
is spinning.
Speaker 11 (02:17:02):
Man, Oh, you's gotta be kidding me.
Speaker 2 (02:17:07):
Oh not now, Okay, last one is gonna go, and
this one will attack you as it This one sort
of spins forward and stops right in front of you,
and then you can see its mandibles dripping with uh
(02:17:27):
this what must be some kind of venom as it
will try to slash at you with its mandibles.
Speaker 16 (02:17:37):
That is a miss.
Speaker 2 (02:17:39):
As you're able to block its attack, maybe with broken revelry,
you push its mandibles out of the way. You see
its venom like landing on the ground, being obviously very poisonous.
That is a miss. Okay your returnament.
Speaker 11 (02:17:57):
Oh, I'm getting upset, especially at this one that's in
front of me, Like I really, I you know, I
really I'd rather just as soon as I can and this.
So I just feel this tension in my head and
(02:18:18):
I channel I channel this almost inner inner headache, and
I unleash a powerful blast on all three of these creatures.
Speaker 2 (02:18:44):
Oki Doki Moon.
Speaker 1 (02:18:49):
As you rear back with the powerful blast, we see
a broken revelry glow for a second with your imbued strength, and.
Speaker 2 (02:19:02):
You see it begin to slice through the air as
this wave of force and energy blasts outwards and slice
into even the creature that is spinning quickly, and they
are all struck. Very nice. Okay, you're round your turn, Moon.
Speaker 11 (02:19:30):
This one that's still in front of me, is it
curled up into a ball.
Speaker 2 (02:19:34):
It is still spinning technically, yes, still spinning.
Speaker 11 (02:19:37):
The other spinning.
Speaker 2 (02:19:39):
The others are not Okay, the one.
Speaker 11 (02:19:42):
That's not the one that's in the middle, that looks
like it's not trying to defend itself. I'm gonna stab
it with broken revelry.
Speaker 10 (02:19:50):
That is it?
Speaker 2 (02:19:51):
Hit?
Speaker 11 (02:19:53):
Yeah, maybe you should have done what he's doing right. Gosh,
you guys are annoying.
Speaker 2 (02:20:02):
Okay, let's see what is it for your turn there?
The one in the front that is spinning is going
to stop spinning and will rush forward as it's uh
seems to uh, I guess. I guess it's gonna wrap
(02:20:23):
up its spin, but it catches you off guard as
it rushes forward and will attempt to cutter ball.
Speaker 11 (02:20:30):
You hoover ball, cutter ball, cutter ball, yep.
Speaker 2 (02:20:37):
So luckily you're able to push off this attack. Clank clink, clink,
clink clink. You feel these like spikes on the cutter pillar.
Uh tear into the protective magics on Death's embraced as
you block it, and that is a miss for it.
Speaker 11 (02:20:58):
Okay, he stops spinning. Bad time to stop spinning. I
guess I'm still going forth with broken Revelry, but I'm
a little shaky, to be honest, so I'll be surprised
if this hits huh still stabbed him?
Speaker 10 (02:21:18):
That is it.
Speaker 2 (02:21:21):
How do you kill it?
Speaker 11 (02:21:25):
I slice its head off and it is not a
clean cut, unfortunately, So it kind of dangles and you
see its eyes sort of stop being as lit as
they were, and yeah, they're kind of doing doing these
and then they try to slowly stop and Brigamortis takes
(02:21:46):
over and it slumps to the ground and I'm just
disgusted at it more than anything. Od just in my way.
Guts are on my arm at this point. Ross.
Speaker 2 (02:22:03):
Okay, the next one's gonna go. This one will attempt
to attack you with its mandibles, and that is a miss.
This one comes spinning in and then it raises up
and you see the mandibles like try to pincer on
(02:22:27):
both sides of you. You hold up Broken Revelry and
Death's Embrace and just kind of hold them back and
push them away. Huh. Okay, your turn, and this.
Speaker 11 (02:22:39):
Is gonna be for this guy because he's come right
at me. Stab this thing with my left hand, not
really used to that, but I'm also not really in
my right mind, so we'll see what happens. Yeah, that
is it, and I withdraw Broken Revelry and it's covered
in guts and I see it it's really not evident.
(02:23:04):
It slumps to the ground kind of backwards. It it
is almost paralyzed as it falls backwards, and you see
it dust erupts, guts rupt. I'm like, oh, okay, I
guess I must have. Oh that was where the organs were.
Oh oh, and you see all these organs all over
the place that are just kind of out of the stomach.
(02:23:28):
It's steaming. And I did not intend to stab it
in the organ spot. But here we are now, I'm
looking at the last one, like, seriously, seriously, it's your
last chance. It's your last chance. Do you want to
you want to run away or not? I'm gonna I'm
gonna just do the same thing. I'm out of my mind.
Speaker 2 (02:23:51):
It doesn't seem to be listening to you at all, man.
Speaker 11 (02:23:55):
Of course not never they never do.
Speaker 2 (02:24:04):
It's your return.
Speaker 11 (02:24:13):
I'm frustrated at this point, so I walk right up
to it and I just slash at it, almost nonchalantly.
H At this point where I'm just I'm just I'm
over it. And in that instance, I realized, oh, oh,
I do I need to try. I do need to try.
(02:24:38):
It's not just gonna stand there.
Speaker 2 (02:24:41):
Okay, you have a new round. It is your turn.
As this attack misses, you kind.
Speaker 1 (02:24:54):
Of swing a bit wildly, realizing like, oh, this creature
is still alive.
Speaker 2 (02:25:00):
It still wants to kill me, and it doesn't care
what I'm saying.
Speaker 11 (02:25:04):
Hm, of course, And I take on a perry stance,
a fence a stance, and lunge forward with broken revelry.
This time, I'm really trying. It looks fancy, It looks fancy,
(02:25:24):
It looks like I know what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (02:25:28):
This is a proper attack and strike you definitely pierces
it's a carapace and you can see you You've given
it a nice wound here. This creature does appear to
be recoiling in pain.
Speaker 2 (02:25:45):
It's still up.
Speaker 11 (02:25:48):
There there. I'm fighting.
Speaker 1 (02:25:51):
It gets a bit more like aggressive as it tries
to attack you, this time with its mandibles, and that
is a hit this time that is also going to
apply the weak condition to you.
Speaker 11 (02:26:14):
Oh and as I'm like swishing my leg ha ha ha,
like taunting it, I would say, it probably chumps on
my arm. Yeah, I think it gets my arm. And
it's just like this totally anime moment where I'm just
like ho, do do do do do do?
Speaker 10 (02:26:31):
Do do do do doo.
Speaker 11 (02:26:32):
My eyes are like little beads like got it.
Speaker 2 (02:26:34):
Off off, got it off, got it off? Cross cross
gross gross.
Speaker 1 (02:26:37):
H it does the weak condition? You also take thirteen
poison damage?
Speaker 11 (02:26:43):
Okay, how do I do this again?
Speaker 1 (02:26:46):
Click your token and then on the there I am okay.
On the chat you can just there's like a little
broken heart. You can just click yourself and then hit
the broken.
Speaker 2 (02:26:57):
Heart if you want.
Speaker 11 (02:26:58):
Okay, think I did that right? Did I not?
Speaker 2 (02:27:02):
I might not be able to make it, says weak,
I have weak. They were Oh I don't know why
that's happening.
Speaker 11 (02:27:11):
It's it's it says I am.
Speaker 2 (02:27:13):
You got weak.
Speaker 1 (02:27:14):
I was just trying to deal the damage, but the
damage for some reason. Okay, so yeah, you took thirteen
poison damage.
Speaker 22 (02:27:21):
Oh okay, it's your out out And I'm looking at
my arm.
Speaker 11 (02:27:32):
It's there's two little there's two little bite marks, but
they're they're relatively large bite marks. But it's like sizzling
on the skin where it's like like, oh, that's not good.
Oh that that's not good. That's not good. That's not good.
That's not good. Oh that's not good. And I look
at this thing. Oh, oh well played, Oh you son
(02:27:56):
of a And I lunged forward again, and this time,
this time, I'm actually angry for this thing that put
in my life in danger.
Speaker 2 (02:28:06):
That is another hit. As you strike with broken revelry,
the creature is sliced open. You see all of its
internally spilling out. It's mandible, still trying to reach you,
and they just kind of slow down. You see it
stop moving and slide to a stop.
Speaker 11 (02:28:32):
I look at my arm. Oh grimace. Oh that's not good.
Speaker 12 (02:28:38):
That's good.
Speaker 9 (02:28:38):
That's not good. That's not good.
Speaker 11 (02:28:42):
I turned behind me. Can I still see any light
coming from those mushrooms? Or is that longer?
Speaker 5 (02:28:50):
There is?
Speaker 1 (02:28:50):
There was some bioluminescence on your boots, but as the
fight wore on, it kind of has worn away and
there are no more mushrooms around you.
Speaker 3 (02:29:00):
Hm.
Speaker 9 (02:29:02):
Oh shit, shut shut shut it.
Speaker 10 (02:29:06):
Ship, ship.
Speaker 2 (02:29:09):
Make an insight insight open check.
Speaker 9 (02:29:11):
Please six okay, okay, huh.
Speaker 12 (02:29:24):
Huhm.
Speaker 2 (02:29:25):
It's quiet, it's dark, it's quiet.
Speaker 11 (02:29:29):
Oh no, I can I can feel I can't feel
my arm. I can feel it dangling. This has happened before.
It's not my first time being poisoned, certainly not my
first time being poisoned. Oh I shake my arm. Oh no, no,
oh no, I gotta find it out.
Speaker 10 (02:29:55):
Would you like to recover?
Speaker 2 (02:29:58):
What would you like you recover? I stop.
Speaker 11 (02:30:13):
This voice that's asked me to recover hasn't led me
that they want me to do it, that they want
me to do it. Yes, I want to recover.
Speaker 1 (02:30:34):
You spend another ultimate point, your status effects are all gone,
and you regain fifty mind points. You feel that thirst
growing stronger.
Speaker 11 (02:30:58):
My arm. It's it feels like it feels like when
you when you when you sit up after after you've
been sitting the cross legged, you know, and you you
sit up and you're like, oh gosh, my foot's asleep.
Or I was like my arm was asleep. And now
all of a sudden, I'm like, oh oh that's good. Okay, great, great, great,
(02:31:19):
No poison, no poison, no poison, no poison, no poison.
We're fine.
Speaker 24 (02:31:27):
No poison, no poison, no poison, no poison, no poison.
H Then I started walking forward. I am so aware
(02:31:53):
of everything. I can hear every pebble crunching it into
my boot. I can hear my lungs collapsing with every breath.
Speaker 11 (02:32:07):
I take an opening with each air that comes into
my lungs. I can practically feel each oxygen molecule enter
into my body and I close my eyes in the
world is spinning. It's like gasoline and my vision.
Speaker 24 (02:32:27):
I've never been more focused, and I've never been more hungry.
I've never been more thirsty. But I'm full of mushrooms
and my stomach is no longer growing.
Speaker 11 (02:32:44):
I'm grounding my teeth.
Speaker 1 (02:32:48):
As the icy swallow camera follows Moon, rushing down further
into the darkness, we can see, almost like a night
vision view, things crawling along the cavern wall, familiar shapes
(02:33:12):
of the spherical bombard ants, leaves of them trailing behind Moon.
In the distant cavern, we see a much larger variety
(02:33:37):
of a bombard ant nestled to its nest, familiar red crystal.
Speaker 12 (02:33:51):
All around.
Speaker 23 (02:33:55):
Nam Ila, Me dining, Jacob love, I'll get to eat up.
Speaker 12 (02:34:06):
I know your animal.
Speaker 16 (02:34:20):
