Speaker 2 (00:25):
Enjoy Moon.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
You are walking along the snow covered grounds of Cryptia
as you begin to enter the city. As you begin
your way, it's snowing. There are signs of neon and
(01:24):
lights and vehicles and such scattered along the street that
is covered in snow. There are figures moving about, and
you can see signs and hear ads and things playing
(01:48):
from various buildings.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
A fashion for.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
And as you look at this screen nearby, you can
see this decaying creature showing off weird extensions from their
arms and from their elbows that sort of look like
some sort of sword like bone extensions made of chrome.
(02:24):
And there's a tagline right underneath.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Were functions decay.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Where there are figures moving about, you can sort of
see them. I mean they look humanoid people that seem
to be just kind of going about their business. But
there's a smell that's making its way through this area
(02:55):
that is, well, it's you know, I mean, most big
cities don't exactly smell great, right, Yeah, Well, this in
particular smells a little bit like a rot.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
And you're beginning to notice that the people are wearing
very different clothing than you've seen around the rest of Rigaliah.
There's a lot of leather, there's a lot of like
led lights, which probably gets you wondering a little bit
built into various clothing and things. And you've probably heard
(03:40):
about Cryptia being sort of technologically advanced, But is this
what you were expecting?
Speaker 6 (03:46):
No, no, I thought it. I thought it was gonna
be just cool looking computers everywhere, and I don't know,
maybe some flying cars would have been neat, but all
of this is just oh, it's it's overwhelming. And my
eyes are not adjusted at all, so I just I
(04:08):
keep blinking. It's almost like looking into the sun. Everything
is just really bright, and I'm just not accustomed to
it at all, and I'm cold, but I don't I
can't look away. I'm just.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Wow, there's some It looks like a few people that
are sort of like standing on top of what looks
to be like a husk of a variation on what
you would recognize as some kind of like truck near
(04:44):
a wall, and it looks like they are spray painting
something on the wall. It kind of looks like, do
you do you do you watch this for a second
or you just keep moving on?
Speaker 6 (05:00):
I'd probably watch.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, Like there, it's kind of an interesting piece. It
kind of looks like a like a portly skeleton with
a beard. Okay, you hear them sort of like laughing
(05:30):
and stuff as they're doing it. Huh yeah, fuck him?
Clap clap.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
Are they they're not being friendly? Are they?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
They definitely look like some kind of gang. You can
see they're all wearing like matching leather jackets.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Huh yeah. I don't want any part of that. I
just keep shuffling for.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Okay, are you trying to be unnoticed or are you
just walking normally?
Speaker 6 (06:06):
I'm just walking like normally, but I'm definitely hunched over.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
I have.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
My cape is wrapped around me just a little bit tighter.
I mean, I feel like the temperature change was just
so abrupt. I was in a damp pave for god
knows how long. Sure now I'm mean snow, I'm freezing.
I'm hungry too. The more I walk, the more I
(06:36):
realize definitely need to eat.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Something you come across like a busier street, and some
of the graffiti that you see on various walls and things.
You see a lot of the words clack clack over
and over again. And there are some other things that
(07:01):
you notice, various ads and stuff. There's so many ads
just walking, like the equivalent of like one city block.
You you must have seen like fifteen ads. Some of
the things that catch your eye you see like a
(07:23):
heasy like a skeletal hand dipping into like some glowing
green sauce and it's obviously like being held by another
skeletal hand. And then it's brought up to a a
(07:45):
wicked looking skeleton with like really sharp looking fangs that
just crunches into this and the ad plays hungry after death,
try and burn bright the afterlife snow one snack for
the snacks.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
Oh, and then it hits me, huh, I start looking
around at the people, actually looking around at the people.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
This place is full of undead.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
Hah oh oh, I just shuffled in like normal, not
really paying attention to anything, and now it's oh, go
back to shoveling. Oh no, wonder, I say to myself.
(08:43):
Smells like a carcus.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Oh oh yeah, there's uh what appears to be like
some I think you can tell, like some street food
vendors along the way. It's pretty busy here, like there's
there's a lot of people walking about. You're definitely getting
(09:07):
some looks.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Yeah, yeah, I can. I can feel that happening for sure.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
H shit, I need to stay undercover. Oh is there
any kind of vendor that's I don't know, selling some
kind of.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Hat?
Speaker 4 (09:29):
A hat?
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Sure? Give me insight and insight difficulty fourteen. Nobody looks
like they're wearing winter clothing, by the way.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
Yeah, I figured, yeah, I'm picturing Bermuda shorts. Oh that's
an eight. That's failure.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
There's no visible like hat vendor, unfortunately, of course.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Okay, well, I'm really hungry, so I take a look
at the nearest food vendor food question mark, and I
kind of shuffle over all.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Right, Uh, roll me a D ten please, Okay, that's
a four.
Speaker 8 (10:20):
Okay four?
Speaker 1 (10:25):
I have a list hold on. Uh okay, uh yeah
this uh This sign says crypt shrimp co you see
you sign for deep fry ghost shrimp, ether tempura and
(10:47):
glowing celt bites served on bone. Skewers.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
I tell I'll take it all. I'll take it all.
I hear the word skewer, I mean a sign. Really
start salivating. I am not even aware of how much
I'm drooling right now.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Yeah, you walk up to the vendor, there's probably like
one person in front of you, and I imagine there's
maybe there's not like a crowd of people that are
looking at you, but there's a lot of people, and
the people are like giving you the eye. Maybe you
like overhear some people saying something like that.
Speaker 9 (11:23):
A flesh bag.
Speaker 10 (11:25):
I think that's a fleshy.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
As you approach the vendor and one person in front
of you, the person in front of you is probably
wearing some kind of like plastic sort of led ridden
kind of like very brightly colored, very simultaneously being very
(11:55):
dirty looking jacket, and you can see they like turn
around and they've got like, you know what we would
assume would look like some kind of like shrimp kebab
type thing, right. They turn around, but it's like covering
this like green slime, and it's got like it looks
like it's placed like on a really long bony finger.
(12:19):
They turn around like sort of smile, and it's obviously
some kind of ghoul that turns around, like half their
face is missing, and they like turn and this woman
sort of like crunches into this food, turns and furrows
like part of a what's left of an eyebrow at you?
Speaker 5 (12:45):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (12:46):
Could I? Uh? And I gesture can I get one
of each?
Speaker 1 (12:51):
The vendor, who is some kind of animated skeleton, uh,
looks at you for a second.
Speaker 10 (13:01):
See you got pretty lucky?
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Yeah? Yeah, I did get lucky.
Speaker 10 (13:14):
Face is still mostly in dad.
Speaker 9 (13:17):
What sort of moisturizer do you use?
Speaker 6 (13:25):
Sunscreen?
Speaker 11 (13:28):
I never heard of that one.
Speaker 12 (13:31):
How many can I get you?
Speaker 6 (13:34):
Uh? I'm I'm it's pretty rough. I just haven't seen
the rest of me.
Speaker 11 (13:47):
Okay, fair enough?
Speaker 12 (13:50):
How many you want?
Speaker 6 (13:53):
Mm hmmm, just two or three?
Speaker 9 (13:56):
I'll do it.
Speaker 11 (13:59):
All right, you decide two or three?
Speaker 13 (14:04):
Give me three.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
You can see they.
Speaker 10 (14:10):
You want dipping sauce on the side, mm hmm.
Speaker 14 (14:18):
Okay, and they give you like a little takeout like
a little plastic dipping sauce containers like a little shitty,
little shitty plastic bag.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
And they, yeah, they give you like they give you
you said three mm hmmm, yeah, they give you three
of these sort of.
Speaker 8 (14:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
They kind of look like shrimp kebabs kind of sure,
and it's like neon green radioactive sauce on the side.
Speaker 9 (14:56):
Okay, that'll be ens.
Speaker 15 (15:01):
I checked my pockets. I've I've forgotten my wallet. I'll
be back later.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
As I realized, I don't think I actually have any
money on me.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
So you do. It just doesn't have the space on
that sheet. You still have it on your other sheet?
Can you still see your other sheet?
Speaker 6 (15:33):
Paul, Paul, Thank goodness, we're just gonna reckond that. Yes, absolutely,
And I reach into my pocket and I pull out
the change. How much did you say?
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Tens in it?
Speaker 6 (15:47):
Of course yes, and I clack down fifteen. There you
go for uh giving me the sauce.
Speaker 12 (15:54):
Also, yeah, no problem. You look kind of.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Vibrant. Thanks again, and.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
I hurry away.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yep, you rush away.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
I don't want her to get any more. But could
look at me?
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Huh. And yeah, there's like there's vehicles that are kind
of like moving through here. They're pretty slow going. They're
sliding a bit on some of the snow and ice,
but they're not quite like Earth vehicles. The cars are
differently sized and shaped, but everything has kind of like
(16:39):
a rickety cyberpunk thrown together hodgepodge kind of look to it.
Speaker 6 (16:49):
Okay, I look around. Is there any transportation that I
can take?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Are you looking to steal a vehicle? Or are you
looking to take like a taxi or something?
Speaker 6 (17:03):
Feeling yeah, oh gosh, I I just want to get
out of here. Something that gets me to the closest
destination that isn't this place?
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Okay, M make another insight check for me. I'm gonna
say this is a ten insight insight.
Speaker 6 (17:26):
That is a three failure.
Speaker 14 (17:30):
Uh okay um.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
They Yeah, it doesn't look like there's a yellow taxi,
cab co or anything like that here. There's people driving
vehicles though.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
Okay, is there a bench nearby somewhere I can sid?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
I imagine there's probably uh places around a sit. I
don't know if it's very.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Scenic, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. And I start
tearing into the bag. Sure, and I stopped chewing for
a second.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
First of all, it's not hot, like, this isn't hot food.
This is like crunchy. It's like crunchy shrimp. It's definitely
like still frozen.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
I pulled tiny bones shards out of my mouth. I'm
going for another bite.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Crunch, crunch, crunch. All right, I think it's time for
a roll. Let's get a mite and my roll Difficulty twelve.
Speaker 6 (18:59):
That's access twelve.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
You managed to get to keep this down. It was
definitely a challenge for you, but you did it. Whatever
kind of God to your constitution you have. You have
eaten some of the most insane foods on regalia, and
your stomach and digestive system has been thoroughly trained. I
(19:29):
feel but it's still.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
Like yep, yep. Likely I'm feeling full, but I still
have an appetite because nothing's really stated. When you're just
eating ice.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Shrimp bones, you need the thought.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
I did dip them in the sauce.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Sauce was actually good.
Speaker 6 (19:53):
So I take a little cup and I have the lid,
and I'm.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Like, yeah, the sauce was good, very spicy, very spicy.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
So I just eat the rest of the sauce and
enjoy the sauce. As much as I can.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Absolutely, it's maybe meant to like offset like the coldness
of the strength. You know, it's just like this super
spicy to.
Speaker 6 (20:20):
Get the taste out of your mouth.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Super super fucking spicy. Y.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
I finished my meal and I pulled my rope closer,
and I realize I'm still freezing, but I still I
have some food to me now, So I just have
to continue being the the lone fleshy out here trying
to be seen avoid being seen.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Oh yeah, as far as what you are seeing, by
the way, as you're sitting like a gremlin gnawing away
at your at your food, probably sat down on a
curb or something.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
M hm.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
The place is pretty scary but also like really impressive.
I mean there's sky's raps here. Effectively, there's way more
undead than you probably have ever seen, and they're easily recognizable.
I mean there's people with like missing jaws and shit,
and like you can see like crazy fangs people with claws,
(21:18):
and nobody seems bothered by the cold at all. There
are a few trucks that go past that are obviously
carrying like some pretty uh pretty crazy cargoes. You see
that you see that There is a symbol like a
(21:41):
logo on these trucks that you've seen many times as
you're sitting and eating, and it kind of looks like
a It kind of looks like a hex like a
like a honeycomb sort of, you know that hes kind
of look except one of the hexes is a C
(22:03):
and H underneath that it says, It says, uh.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
Craven Moore, Well, does that ring a bell?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Inside? Insight difficulty? I'm gonna say fourteen.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
That's a nine.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yeah, it might sound familiar, you just can't remember where
it's from.
Speaker 13 (22:40):
Craven More.
Speaker 6 (22:44):
And I look at the empty little club of sauce.
Oh can I stand? So it was just sitting on
the curb. But I'm gonna start moving forward. Can feel
a little war warmth in my bones, sure, from the bones.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
From what you can tell, you are at some kind
of like port city. In the distance, you can see
that there does appear to be some kind of docks area.
Speaker 6 (23:23):
My head towards the docks.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Sure, okay, And you're basically staying on the outskirts, just
trying to head towards the docks.
Speaker 6 (23:32):
Yeah, yeah, I'm My goal is to maybe ask for
some kind of transportation.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Okay, are you talking to anybody or are you just
making your way there? Or have you just keeping an
eye I don't.
Speaker 6 (23:44):
Know if I want to make eye contact, but I
think I unwittingly do with some people, just because I
am still looking around and I'm really tired, but I'm
sort of not believing what I'm seeing. I almost feel
a little bit like I'm in a dream or some
kind of trance, because there's just this this pumping music
behind me at all times, and ads are just streaming
in my face, and and I definitely hear people calling
(24:07):
me fleshy. So I'm like, Okay, this is this is
not this is not where I'm supposed to be.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Right now.
Speaker 6 (24:12):
I have to I have to I have to leave.
I have to go.
Speaker 12 (24:18):
Oh tank, you.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
All right?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (24:26):
You continue towards the docks, which aren't really close. I
mean you can kind of see them in the distance,
so it's like probably a few miles away something like that,
and you're making your way along the streets kind of
just the most direct path, is that right?
Speaker 6 (24:43):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Okay, saying on the outskirts most direct path you can
all right? Fair enough?
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (24:52):
You continue walking, and it's slow. If you've ever like
walked on snow and ice, you kind of have to
like take your tongue and it's just kind of it's
just annoying and you have to stop periodically, and you know,
your legs get really sore really fast because you have
to keep your balance, and it's just kind of like
(25:13):
a slog making your way there. You're already tired, you're
already fatigued, you feel yourself. I mean, it's definitely a
different environment and it's very bracing and cold, so it's
a different vibe deferently than where you were. Kind of
the polar opposite, honestly.
Speaker 8 (25:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, as you as you're making your way down these streets,
there's just signs of this i think discontentment that you
see everywhere. There's fights that are kind of breaking out.
(25:54):
There are obviously many gangs, lots of graffiti, and you
can see a lot of repeated graffiti, a lot of
clack clack, and you can see a lot of what
appear to be some kind of like common pieces that
are being made some kind of fat skeleton that is
(26:17):
just like with this beard, and like there's various caricatures
and things that you see along the way these pieces
being made. They are quite clearly whoever this is meant
to represent, these people do not like this PERSONA While
(26:41):
you are making your way there, these gangs don't seem
to really notice you very much. Until you start to
get closer to the docks. The environment starts to change
a little bit. There's way less reputable people looking about.
(27:01):
This looks like this looks like the Toffs area. As
you're making your way here, any vehicles that you see
coming through are making their way through in a hurry,
and you can see some of these gangs just kind
of like throwing garbage and shit at some of these trucks.
There's a lot more of these cargo trucks that are
(27:22):
making their way few and from the docks. Again with
that craven more logo or even more.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
How many trucks are there.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
A fair amount? I mean, like I said, it was
like a maybe two three miles to get to the
head towards the docks. So you've seen probably ten to
fifteen along the way.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Huh. I'm curious, and as I walk, I'm trying to
see if I can locate any more of these trucks.
Now you're looking for the direction from where they're coming.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Okay, sure, insight, this will be a difficulty.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
Ten, that's a fifteen success.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Yeah. Are you looking for where they're coming from or
where they're going, primarily.
Speaker 6 (28:29):
Where they're where they are originating from, where they're are originating.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yeah, okay, the nearest you can tell is there. Definitely,
there's definitely some coming from the docks and headed into town.
Trying to figure out where they're going is maybe like
something You're not paying attention to it first, but after
a while, after looking and seeing all these trucks, you
start to like it starts to become apparent this must
(28:54):
be some kind of like big deal in the city.
There is kind of a skyscraper that's taller than the rest,
and you can see the fucking logo for Craven More
on it. It almost looks like Stark Tower, like it
has that kind.
Speaker 8 (29:15):
Of juicey vibe.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
I changed course, I stop going towards the docks and
I start going towards the building.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Okay, it's uh, probably it's deeper into the city. And
you start doing that.
Speaker 6 (29:36):
Fair enough, something just feels off.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Okay, start making your way deeper into the city, making
your way away from these street tufts. There's lots of people.
As you make your way further into the city, way
more people now you're on the outskirts before. As you're
heading into the city, there's lots of people like walking
(30:02):
past you, giving you looks.
Speaker 6 (30:04):
And I stand a little taller.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Sure people are giving you looks and you can definitely
hear like a fleshy fleshbag. You smell it. Yeah, maybe
even see a few people like licking their lips or
what remains of their lips, Like as you walk past,
(30:31):
they look hungry. A few people look scared, but there's
a few people that are are definitely have that predator
look on their faith.
Speaker 6 (30:46):
As you moving forward.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Yep, uh, I would like you to please make me
a mite. And I'm gonna say will power and we'll
say that this will be difficulty to.
Speaker 6 (31:00):
Well, okay, fifteen success.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Sure, there's maybe a few people that you can tell
or thinking about jumping you. And as you stand taller,
maybe a few of them start to follow you or
get closer. And when they do, there's some reactions as
(31:37):
they get closer to you. Uh so, yeah, yeah, you
feel that, Yeah, what is that?
Speaker 12 (31:50):
I don't know, something's wrong with this one.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
Ah smells foul.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
I take offense at this, and I swivel around. Hey,
I shower, well, haven't in a while.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
You turn around, you look and you see them sort
of a bit surprised as you do. Uh, they have
like a they step back, you know, like as if
they're hit by something.
Speaker 16 (32:27):
Ah, what gives my man, you're just gonna call me
smellie my.
Speaker 17 (32:38):
Back, nuts on my face?
Speaker 18 (32:42):
Who are you?
Speaker 6 (32:44):
What are you worry about it? If you're just gonna
sit there and and and call me names.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
She looks familiar.
Speaker 10 (33:00):
I don't know, flashy, vibrant.
Speaker 6 (33:05):
Definitely alive, definitely alive. And I turn back around and
I keep walking.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
They stop following you.
Speaker 6 (33:18):
Good. I don't need anybody calling me foul. I know
I haven't showered.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
And how long it's been a while.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
It's just insulting.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
You are giving off don't fuck with me vibes. As
you continue through this place, you're walking for a while.
It's maybe like a couple hours of walking. There's a
few moments where people try to get close to you
then kind of back away. Some of the things that
(33:56):
you hear are which you imagine to be like derogatory terms,
for the living. And there is one thing that catches
your eye. Along the way, you see an ad, this
(34:16):
time for craven More and it says.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
Craving More keeping alive or reanimated.
Speaker 9 (34:37):
Craven More.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
What is this?
Speaker 6 (34:48):
Mhm? I go further into the city.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
Eventually you make your way to this tower, which is
very unimpressive. At the base. You see it's littered with trash,
there's graffiti all over. There is in fact, what appears
to be cleaning crews trying to clean up the graffiti
(35:16):
on one side of the building. And you can see,
like in the alley right next to it, there's people
painting for a fresh graffiti on this and you can
see clack clack all over various places. And you can
see that there is more of that depiction of that,
like that like large skeleton and doing obscene things.
Speaker 6 (35:44):
Can I go in the building.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
As you look in the front of the building, you
can see it's got what you would expect. It has
some it has some doors. This thing's fucking tall. This
is a giant skyscraper. You can see there appears to
be what what appear to be like landing pads at
various points on the exterior of this building, and the
(36:08):
front door is essentially like a very corporate looking sort
of front door. It's kind of like glass and steel
and stone. It has a sort of a more technologically
advanced brutalist look to it. Yeah, So you walk up
(36:35):
the stairs to the front of this building here, and
you can see right away that there's some kind of
security desk inside. There do appear to be like cameras
and shit around the door.
Speaker 6 (36:56):
Can I use the door to go in?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
You walk right in. As soon as you do, you
can see that there is like a well dressed corporate
but also still very undead attendant or security personnel at
the front desk. Definitely doesn't look like a standard skeleton.
(37:18):
By the way, this is a hulking sort of creature.
It has a certain distinguishable odor to it. It's different
than the rest of the rock that you've kind of
smelled in your way here. This one smells a little
bit like Garlicky.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
Hum.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
I's your business with Craven More.
Speaker 6 (37:53):
Hi, I'm actually an emissary and I am on familiar
with your business. I was just passing by and we
really were wondering what this building was all about. My
company and I.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
What company do you work for?
Speaker 12 (38:16):
Do you have an appointment?
Speaker 11 (38:18):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (38:20):
We might be on the appointment list, although they might
just be expecting me at the top.
Speaker 10 (38:28):
Name jan.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Jan rolled me a D twenty place.
Speaker 12 (38:52):
We should Yeah, I got a jen on here.
Speaker 9 (38:56):
You're way early.
Speaker 6 (38:57):
Though, I'm sure that'll be fine. I can just sit
in the lounge sip some of that whatever you guys
call coffee here?
Speaker 9 (39:11):
You mean coffee right right?
Speaker 4 (39:14):
Right?
Speaker 6 (39:14):
Of course? Elevators this way, Oh, I'm do you guys
do guest passes here?
Speaker 13 (39:21):
Of course?
Speaker 9 (39:22):
Here's a visitor pass.
Speaker 6 (39:24):
Can I hold out my wrist expectantly? Oh?
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Okay, just slide it over. It's like a little laminated
card kind of thing.
Speaker 6 (39:34):
I've put it over my my head. Great, thanks so much.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
This person, like as you walk around by the way,
you can see that they're not sitting in a chair.
It looks like they are what appears they have like
a completely different like lower body. It looks like they've
got some kind of a lizard man creature body below
the waist, Like there's this hulking set of legs and
(40:11):
like a tail and stuff behind them. It clearly looks
like it's been spliced like onto another body.
Speaker 6 (40:20):
Okay, I try very hard not to stare as I
walk towards what I presume might be elevators.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
Yeah, there's definitely like what you would expect, kind of
like a corporate looking elevator. Inside is very clean, like
they have what appears to be like little gonkdroids from
Star Wars rolling around and fucking clean and shit up.
Speaker 19 (40:43):
Go.
Speaker 6 (40:49):
I sort of stuttled by one and head into an elevator.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
It's basically a gonk droid with a rumba, like it's
just a gonk droid's been stapled onto a room but
rotating around. Yeah, okay, and yeah, you head over to
the elevator and uh you push the button for the
corresponding floor.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
As you go in, there's probably yeah, definitely, and there's
like I think you can see like probably not in
the lobby. I imagine there would be. There would still
be ads and stuff playing various like Craven More ads.
Speaker 8 (41:40):
I have a list of so much shit for this place.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
I gotta flyind the right ad mm hmmm. Uh so yeah,
there's like ads for for different craven More stuff, and
you can see like biotech resurrection services, undead augmentations, reanimation,
(42:09):
legal services. All of this shit is like running on
various ads. Does it make sense for any of it
to go along with each other? Maybe a little bit,
but it's definitely weird.
Speaker 6 (42:24):
Just kind of watch the ads, like until the door opens.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
Door opens, and you see a very different look to
this floor. It is very like luxurious. There's like a
sort of it's like a crushed velvet kind of look,
you know, it has that feel to it, like there's
(42:50):
way too much velvet on stuff, Like the chairs are
covered in velvet, the like there's like tapestries. It looks
way different. This whatever this is. It almost feels like
a completely different designer than like the lobby. You come
into this place and there's paintings and shit that are
(43:13):
hung up, and the paintings depict strange looking people. For
one thing, you've never seen them before, but one of
them definitely resembles one of the caricatures that you have
seen around town. There is a skeletal looking person that
(43:37):
has a beard and kind of shoulder length hair depicted
in various scenes, all of which are self aggrandizing. They're
just like, you know, being adored by various people and
like just there's like pictures of this person with what
appears to be some kind of like dog skeleton creature.
(44:04):
It's a very different kind of feeling now in this place.
Speaker 6 (44:10):
Huh okay, so I'm just kind of strolling through this hallway.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
Yeah. So there would be like a there'ld be like.
Speaker 6 (44:21):
A warmer in here. It's probably not any warmer in here,
is it.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
There would be like a receptionist like at a at
a front desk, like as you come out of the elevator.
Speaker 6 (44:30):
Sure, oh uh hello, hi, hello, I have a meeting
up top, and I show them the past, just hoping
that they'll understand.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Yeah, they scan it on some kind of device or something.
Speaker 10 (44:50):
Yes, jam, yes, all.
Speaker 9 (44:54):
Right, and let's see.
Speaker 10 (44:56):
I have you here, uh uh I have you here
from necro tender.
Speaker 6 (45:09):
Yes, yes, it's we only have the uh the finest
tending there for the neckros.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
Go ahead and make an insight and will power difficulties twelve.
Speaker 20 (45:32):
Uh boy, Oh my god, shut up, dude, that's Chris.
Speaker 17 (45:44):
That's the thing that's a fourteen critical.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
What would you like to use for your opportunity?
Speaker 6 (45:48):
Oh my gosh, oh gosh, hey, let me let me
opportunity let's see you. Oh gosh, you know, I would
love information. I think that's the main thing I'm looking for.
So anything that maybe is like laying on the desk
(46:08):
or something up there, I'm like.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
Oh, okay, so you're looking for information about this place specifically, yes, okay,
this company. Okay, okay. So I don't imagine that there
would be too many things like on the on the desk,
but I'm I do imagine that there are, like there
(46:30):
is uh probably a brochure, as cheesy as it is,
there's a fucking there's like a brochure on the desk.
Speaker 9 (46:43):
You can take this and wait.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Your meeting doesn't start for another hour.
Speaker 6 (46:48):
Oh that's fine. We like to make sure things are early.
So thank you, and I take the brochure.
Speaker 10 (46:54):
Well, I'm sure mister Craven Moore will be appreciative of that.
Speaker 12 (46:58):
He's a very busy man.
Speaker 6 (47:01):
I'm sure, thank you again for your help. And I
turn around and I mouth because I cannot believe my luck,
and I open the brocher.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Sure, what you see in the brousure is kind of
like a just it's just talking up this Craven more guy.
Speaker 14 (47:26):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Basically you can see that it is about like it's
about how Craven Moore separated from uh, misunderstanding business partners
to create Craven Stone, the Jewel of Cryptia, the greatest
(47:53):
trading port in all of Regalia. Mister Craven more knows
what we need best. Shit like that. It's just straight
up like propaganda.
Speaker 6 (48:08):
Propaganda, hm hm wow. I kind of just flip through
the rest of it, like.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
Okay, it mentions various services, same thing that you kind
of ran into in the elevator, talking about like reanimation services,
and like it's like all corporate spun lingo for all
of it. You know, it doesn't actually tell you anything really,
It just kind of vaguely says what they do using
(48:39):
corporate lingo with words like synergy and stupid. Shit like
that doesn't really have any substance. It's just vaguaries.
Speaker 6 (48:49):
Okay, Okay, Well I move forward down the hallway.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
Imagine there's probably like a little seating area that she
would have directed you to.
Speaker 6 (49:05):
Okay, I have a seat. Kind of sink in to
this chair because it's not comfortable at all. It's like
it's like sitting on a board.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
It's it's well, it's probably like I imagine it's it's
more it's quite comfortable. Actually it's it's very posh. But
it's like old timey furniture. It's not like it doesn't
match the lobby area at all. This looks like it
could be taken from some kind of royal some kind
(49:42):
of like royal dining room. H And everything's like velvet. Wow,
all the all the like padding on everything's velvet.
Speaker 6 (49:58):
I've been so used to sitting on and stone and
laying on the hardly cave surface that I'm not used
to it. And I start, We're like, wow, wow, I
just want a quality seat.
Speaker 10 (50:12):
Would you like any liquified slimes or coffee?
Speaker 6 (50:17):
Oh, yasha, I'm off of liquified slimes on my diet,
so coffee will have to.
Speaker 4 (50:24):
Do, all right.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
Would you like one sugar or too too please?
Speaker 9 (50:33):
A sweet youth?
Speaker 12 (50:34):
Okay, yeah, yep.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
Mint. Later she comes back with like she comes back
with like a fucking just the regular looking coffee.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
Oh and I and I take it and look at
it like it's just the most precious, priceless thing in
the world. And I take a sip.
Speaker 10 (50:57):
You're sure you don't want any slimes?
Speaker 8 (51:00):
We have a really nice mellow oo smoothie.
Speaker 6 (51:03):
Oh, I'm sure this will do the trick.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 9 (51:08):
All right.
Speaker 6 (51:10):
Does it taste like coffee?
Speaker 4 (51:12):
Yeah, it's just like coffee.
Speaker 6 (51:14):
Oh, and it's the best thing I've had problem maybe
in recent memory. And I just I just savor every
single sip of this coffee with two sugars in it.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Mm hmm. It's gone pretty quick.
Speaker 6 (51:30):
Good. It is so good. It's like sending my brain
into overdrive with how good this just basic cup of
coffee is after drinking uh, you know, moss water and
eaten dead things. It's a real welcome change way.
Speaker 9 (51:47):
Oh yeah, it's great.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
And then the time just slows to a halt as
soon as you're done with your coffee. It's like there's
not really like a lot of reading material. It's all
just kind of propaganda and shit all about.
Speaker 6 (52:11):
I look around for anything to do, and I kind
of twiddle my thumbs.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
I imagine, I imagine there's probably like a leftover magazine
or something that you find lying about, like it's like
it fell underneath one of the tables. It's the equivalent
of an undead highlights magazine. This one says, Cauldron and Crunch.
Speaker 6 (52:41):
Are there any writing materials around or any any utensils
I can use.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
Nope, I guess I'll just.
Speaker 6 (52:49):
Have to use my mind. Then there's a there's a
find the Difference picture in here, so I'm just looking
at this.
Speaker 1 (52:58):
It's all undead theme to every things, like undead teamed.
Speaker 6 (53:05):
Oh, there it is, there, it.
Speaker 12 (53:06):
Is, I found it.
Speaker 6 (53:07):
This is the tibula is missing. Put it down and uh.
I make my way back to the receptionist desk and
I ask a stereo stereo. That's a restroom around.
Speaker 10 (53:33):
You're looking for a place to unfreshen up. Yes, sure,
right down the.
Speaker 6 (53:39):
Hall, thank you, And I make my way down the hall.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
What you get is something very different than what you're expecting.
This is not a typical restroom. There's an immediate stank
upon opening the door. There it's like, yeah, it's yeah,
it's ranking here. It's kind of like the place where
the compost would go.
Speaker 6 (54:09):
I take a few deep breaths and then.
Speaker 10 (54:14):
It going, oh.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
Yeah, there's there's like where the sinks you imagine the
sinks would be like it's probably like like some fresh fertilizer,
and like the the stalls are probably just like I
(54:40):
imagine they're just kind of like pits.
Speaker 6 (54:45):
Oh. I start to bunch up my cape. Oh oh,
and I closed the stall, and is I going to
(55:06):
hear this out?
Speaker 8 (55:07):
Now?
Speaker 1 (55:09):
What you're supposed to do with these three seashells?
Speaker 6 (55:12):
There's in here and we hear the toilet. We hear
no toilet, we hear no flesh.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
No, there's so there is a button that's here.
Speaker 6 (55:21):
There's a button.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
Yeah, there's a button. Yeah, there's a button.
Speaker 6 (55:24):
Press the button. Oh god, all right.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
You press the button. There's this weird sound that starts happening.
It sounds like what I do.
Speaker 6 (55:40):
And I immediately I let I let my cape go
like and the stall opens, like I just close it forward.
Speaker 1 (55:46):
Can we see this like crazy like purple worm creature?
Like it looks like one of the fucking dune worms
come out and like and then like sinks back into
the pit.
Speaker 5 (56:01):
Oh okay, Why am I glad we don't have that
at home.
Speaker 6 (56:16):
I go to unfreshen up. Is there a mirror?
Speaker 19 (56:20):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (56:21):
Yeah, there's signs like employees must unfreshen hands.
Speaker 6 (56:32):
Oh like my dark circles. Oh, in order to wash
my hands, in order to wash anything.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
There's probably some mud in there.
Speaker 21 (56:54):
When in room, and I put some mud on my hands. Nice,
it's a little warm, actually doesn't smell too bad.
Speaker 6 (57:07):
You're the rest of everything else that smells terrible. Okay, good,
nice and dry, And I wipe them off on my cape,
which is already so dirty and covered in moss and lighten.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
At this time, paper towels like right next to you.
Speaker 6 (57:21):
Ah, and I walk out anyway without using any of
paper towels. That's how that's how it's cold. It's canted.
We're not using the paper towels.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
As you make your way back, uh, you can see
that the receptionist appears to be speaking to someone on
what appears to be some kind of communication device. There's
like it looks like a little box.
Speaker 10 (57:59):
There's here.
Speaker 22 (58:02):
I'm ready, Yes, yes, yes, sir, Jan is here, Jim?
Speaker 3 (58:13):
Who the fuck is.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
That your appointment?
Speaker 4 (58:16):
Sir?
Speaker 10 (58:19):
All right, we'll send her in.
Speaker 6 (58:28):
Can I go in? I asked this?
Speaker 9 (58:30):
You can go right in. He's in a bit of
a mood today.
Speaker 6 (58:34):
Oh okay, thank you? Noted? And I straighten up a bit.
Can I go in?
Speaker 23 (58:43):
Nothing?
Speaker 1 (58:45):
You open?
Speaker 4 (58:46):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (58:47):
This luxurious wooden door and sitting at a at a
desk is a very Poshal look king skeletal man with
a what appears to be a like a mechanical, cyberpunk
(59:13):
like arm. He's wearing purples and has like a golden cane,
and he's wearing kind of like purple shaded glasses, with
very thick, luxurious shoulder length hair and a beard.
Speaker 6 (59:36):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (59:38):
Why, hello there.
Speaker 6 (59:41):
Height stroll in and I offer my hands. I'm Jan
of the Necro Tender company.
Speaker 1 (59:50):
Tender excellent, so glad to see you.
Speaker 6 (59:58):
Mm hmm. I presume you've been told what our company does.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
But of course, Jan, how could I forget right?
Speaker 23 (01:00:16):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:00:19):
So on that note, I'm actually here more as an
emissary to find out what it is that you do
in your day.
Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
Wonderful. My name is Laizer craven More.
Speaker 6 (01:00:29):
Oh okay, And I look at a notebook and I
take a pen and the notebook from the desk and
just sort of start writing things down. Okay, great, this
is for our documentary.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Oh what now?
Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
Documentary documentary on some of the greatest leaders of our nations.
Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Well, slap my tits and call me Martha.
Speaker 6 (01:00:52):
Okay, Martha, you ready just kidding? Okay? Where were we
you were introducing yourself?
Speaker 24 (01:01:01):
Yes, of course, I'm sure you know of me, but
I am, in fact Laser craven More. Yes, the CEO
of Craven More, the founder of.
Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
This city.
Speaker 6 (01:01:20):
Amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Julia must know of me.
Speaker 6 (01:01:23):
Oh of course, I mean I know of you.
Speaker 24 (01:01:26):
But Cravenstone wouldn't even exist if I hadn't broken away
from Mike.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Never mind, Oh no.
Speaker 12 (01:01:35):
Do tell.
Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
I'm so hurrying.
Speaker 6 (01:01:42):
Oh well, all right, if you insist, But we're really
here to learn about who you are behind the business.
Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
He gets up and like walks around and sits like
on the front of his desk as you sit at
your on your chair, and he's just straightens out his
attire and he's leaning a bit closer to you, and
he says, uh, so, tell me more about this documentary.
Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
Yes, so we are highlighting some of the most as
I say, important leaders of our nation today. I am
really just an emissary talking to these leaders here. But
you were our first choice. So my goal really is
to understand more about the person behind what makes this
(01:02:38):
business so great. I have heard of you, but again
I don't know much of you, and I don't know
much about Cravenstone. If I'm going to be perfectly honest.
Speaker 24 (01:02:50):
Why do you come from one of the other shitty
cities in Cryptia?
Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
Well, if I must admit, I'm not from Cryptia at all,
but yes I am. I am very familiar with the
lay of the land. Hell, I'm sitting here as as
I talk. I am just I can st hope that
(01:03:16):
he can see that I am absolutely talking out of
my ass.
Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
You're trying to look like you're talking out of your ass.
Speaker 6 (01:03:25):
Oh, rather the opposite of this, Okay, i'd I'd like
to look like I'm doing okay.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Sure, okay, yeah, go ahead, go ahead and make an
insight and willpower difficulty twelve?
Speaker 6 (01:03:42):
Oh god, Oh that's an eleven failure?
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Where are you from?
Speaker 5 (01:03:52):
Jan?
Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
Well, you promise not to say anything, all right, I
won't make you promise anything.
Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
But well, I don't have them anymore. But when I did,
luck and key.
Speaker 6 (01:04:12):
Good man, I'm originally from Coga failure. Hm. Is that
a of concern to you?
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Well, that depends are you from there? Now?
Speaker 6 (01:04:34):
It's a good question. Let me freeze it this way.
Not on their business. How about that it's my homeland.
But I haven't been back for some time, and I
mean some time. I was really literally figuratively living in
(01:04:56):
a cave. So I'm just trying to gather more of
the uh, the knowledge that I've been missing here.
Speaker 24 (01:05:07):
Well, darling, you can't spell craven More without more.
Speaker 17 (01:05:13):
That's very accurate.
Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
Waggles his eyebrows, clearly not really paying attention to you.
What the actual contents of what you're saying?
Speaker 6 (01:05:24):
Well, mister craven More, I your first name is Laser.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Oh, yes, you can call me la.
Speaker 6 (01:05:36):
Oh Laiz Oh okay, so Laise is that your actual name?
I'm curious or did you get it because you like lasers?
Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
Who doesn't like lasers? But no, of course I was
born with that name.
Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
Hm hmm.
Speaker 24 (01:05:54):
Interesting, and I wouldn't have changed it because my old
name was really stupid.
Speaker 6 (01:06:01):
No, no, I don't think anybody does that sort of thing.
And you say Cryptia wouldn't be Cryptia without.
Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
You, right, well, of course.
Speaker 10 (01:06:14):
Hm.
Speaker 6 (01:06:17):
Well, our documentary again, it is highlighting leaders. But I'm curious,
what does your day to day look like?
Speaker 13 (01:06:24):
Here?
Speaker 24 (01:06:26):
My day to day, Well, I'm doing all sorts of
important entrepreneurial business shit from the first moment of dawn
until the end of dusk.
Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
Oh of course, yes, And while he's saying all this.
I'm looking around, and I'm trying to glean information from
perhaps his desk or the surroundings, just to see.
Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Okay, okay, it is.
Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
So he's there's a bunch of paintings, more of that,
like that m that skeletal dog like him and that
skeletal dog. Just like having fun, you know, like playing
fetch and shit.
Speaker 6 (01:07:06):
Okay, you have a dog?
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Oh yes, really, of course.
Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
Are they here?
Speaker 24 (01:07:18):
Oh no, the last time I brought them into the
office there was shit everywhere.
Speaker 6 (01:07:23):
Hm. No, that would be that would be terrible.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
I didn't want him to step in.
Speaker 6 (01:07:28):
It, of course, but I mean obviously you saved some
for later for the unfreshening room.
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Ah, I say what you did there?
Speaker 6 (01:07:46):
And I'm scribbling nothing into my notebook.
Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
So just repeated nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
It's just repeated DoD SuDS.
Speaker 23 (01:08:01):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (01:08:02):
Well, sir, thank you so much for your time. You've
been a big help.
Speaker 24 (01:08:07):
Held on a minute, Wait a damned moment. You mentioned documentary.
Oh yes, I need to hear more about it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Wind.
Speaker 24 (01:08:17):
Does COGA need to make a documentary? Oh, little old
laser craven maw.
Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
Well, it's again not really so much about Coga, but
more about the company's view on things. Necro Tender is
taking this very very seriously, and we only work with
the finest undead. Surely you understand, of course, I'm gathering
information for this documentary on account of me and a
(01:08:46):
crew returning here to film you. Ideally in this office,
but I'm not certain about the dog. The dog might
not work. So you don't bring your dog here, right,
You leave your dog at home. The dog is never
in the office.
Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
Why doesn't the dog work?
Speaker 17 (01:09:04):
Well, we just.
Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
Really don't want animals in this documentary, mister Craven Moore.
We feel like it would complicate the narrative.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
He hasn't been an animal for a very long time.
Speaker 6 (01:09:14):
Oh well, that's wonderful to hear. Then he can probably
stay at home.
Speaker 24 (01:09:17):
Yes, let's see what you're trying to do. You're trying
to do some kind of mind fuckery.
Speaker 6 (01:09:26):
Oh no, no, never, not at all. We take this
very seriously.
Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
You've said that many times. If I believe.
Speaker 6 (01:09:33):
You, Mmm, well, would you like me to prove that
I'm from Coga?
Speaker 25 (01:09:46):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (01:09:49):
And I start rapidly thinking of ways that I can
do that to prove to this man that I am
somehow from Coga. Do I have any documentation on me?
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
You have your the visa that you had from Millifax
that had your information. Beyond that, I mean you're a Celestian.
Uh you're almost seven feet tall? Right right? I mean
(01:10:23):
there's other species that are tall, but it's pretty obvious
that you're a Celestian and they've really only come from Coca.
Speaker 6 (01:10:32):
Right. Okay, Well I pull out my visa from Millifax.
See this is where we just shot at the Empress.
Speaker 8 (01:10:43):
Oh shit, you're tall.
Speaker 6 (01:10:46):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
One told drink of slime.
Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
And I look at myself salime I and then I
get the gist. Oh oh yep, I'll drink a slime.
That's me. Were you curious about col God? Perhaps I
could provide some information since I am the one who
came knocking at your door.
Speaker 25 (01:11:14):
Mm.
Speaker 24 (01:11:17):
You keep mentioning Carga in this documentary, but I have
to wonder what's it all about? Why does necro tender
want to get involved? This lazy craven more? Are you
looking for me in some sort of swim suit?
Speaker 6 (01:11:41):
And I raise a hand to my ear one moment,
mister Craven Moore, thank you for your time, and I
stand up and I start to leave.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
Mister cravenmore, goddamn it, what is it? Can't you tell
I'm in a meeting. That's the problem, sir.
Speaker 10 (01:12:11):
There is a another jam from necro tender here.
Speaker 17 (01:12:16):
I start walking fast.
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Hold on the goddamn moment. Excuse me? Yeah, you're trying
to book it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You reached the doors,
and as you as you open the doors, there is, uh,
there appears to be what appears to be some kind
(01:12:41):
of group of people outside, one of which is clearly
the dog that Craven Moore was talking about.
Speaker 24 (01:12:55):
Hold on, hold on the goddamn mean it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Is chasing after you. Yes, no, And there's people outside
the door. There's people outside the door. There's like several
people outside. It's like five people out there with the dog.
Speaker 6 (01:13:14):
I take the lanyard off of my head and I
give it to the nearest person as I shuffle out
the door.
Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
Okay, uh give me decks and decks difficulty twelve.
Speaker 6 (01:13:23):
Oh oh that's a failure.
Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
Yeah. You try to give them the like pass and
they'll they'll they appear to like know that something is wrong.
One of these people is clearly like a security person
that like immediately slices. It's like one of those anime
scenes where like you just hear the sword get drawn
(01:13:52):
like the Ei strike where it's like and then the
lanyard attached to the pass is just like separated and
slowly falls apart the past like falls onto the grind.
Speaker 24 (01:14:07):
Ah, my entourage, I see you've arrived just in time.
We've got someone here that does not be long.
Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
Yeah, as you see several members of this entourage looking
very different. They all look kind of posh. One of
them looks human, and they look alive, and they also
look very strange because you see that they have these
(01:14:45):
sort of I don't know what to call them, sort
of like do you remember the bits on the matrix,
like on the back of the spine, like we had
those kind of ports. Yeah, they kind of look like that.
There's one like on the shoulder, and it appears that
there's another one on the other shoulder. And this person
(01:15:10):
looks very haggard and just kind of exhausted looking.
Speaker 6 (01:15:20):
Do I recognize them?
Speaker 9 (01:15:21):
No?
Speaker 24 (01:15:23):
No, where do you think you're going? We weren't done
with their conversation.
Speaker 6 (01:15:35):
Oh, I think we probably probably are. I got enough information.
I got all that I needed, and.
Speaker 24 (01:15:41):
I unfortunately for you, I don't think that all I have,
they're not going anywhere.
Speaker 6 (01:15:51):
I start getting annoyed. Okay, what is it that you
need from me now? Because I can get out of
your hair, No mess, no fuss. We just wanted a
little bit of information on you, that was all.
Speaker 1 (01:16:06):
You are very rude and who is we?
Speaker 6 (01:16:10):
Necro tender? We don't work with dogs.
Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
Not true.
Speaker 24 (01:16:16):
My receptionist just said that jam from Necker attender who's
now waiting outside.
Speaker 6 (01:16:23):
They could have also led your receptionists astray. I'm sorry,
but I really must be going, and I try to
walk even faster out of there just to avoid this guy.
Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Entourage gets in your.
Speaker 6 (01:16:34):
Way, craven more? Is it craven more? Because you can't
fight your own battles?
Speaker 24 (01:16:48):
Oh, don't worry, darling.
Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
I am one of the finest litches around.
Speaker 6 (01:17:00):
I think we'll see about that, and I can smell
a fight coming.
Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
I think.
Speaker 6 (01:17:06):
I start getting ready into a defensive stance.
Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
The entourage begins moving about you. Jasper, come away from there.
Please don't mind Jasper. He's my best friend, he's my pal,
he's my boy at home, my roughing soldier. Here's my
stinky cheese, my delicious juice boy.
Speaker 6 (01:17:30):
Great noted, these guys are making me uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
As the entourage begins to circle you, we switch scenes
as we find ourselves at the feet of the Dragon
Empress in the capital of Millifax, where we find Rue
(01:18:11):
speaking to the Dragon Empress. Rue, you have just revealed
everything that's been going on the Dragon Empress and cinder Shroud.
(01:18:39):
She waits and listens to everything that you say patiently.
Speaker 26 (01:18:49):
So and it pretty much ended with me getting dumped onto.
Speaker 6 (01:18:59):
The airship.
Speaker 26 (01:19:01):
And that's where Greg and I gesture down to my companion, loll.
Speaker 13 (01:19:10):
Greg and I.
Speaker 26 (01:19:11):
Tried to figure out a way to get back, and
it's kind of ended up with us being here.
Speaker 18 (01:19:26):
Yeah, your tale is strange.
Speaker 13 (01:19:39):
I know it's a lot to take in, but it's
the truth and it's what's happened, and.
Speaker 26 (01:19:49):
That's why I need your help, your majesty.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
So I need to ask Moon something. Yes, how much
did you tell the Dragon Empress when you were together?
Speaker 6 (01:20:08):
Ooh?
Speaker 10 (01:20:14):
I would.
Speaker 6 (01:20:17):
Say that she probably heard quite a bit about Jan's
personal life. I don't know if she told her like
absolutely everything, but probably a probably a fair bit because
they were yo no close she probably know a bit,
(01:20:43):
did you lie?
Speaker 27 (01:20:45):
Nope, Okay, I see that you're telling.
Speaker 10 (01:21:04):
Me the truth, at least the parts that I am
aware of. Moon, or as you call her, Jan told
(01:21:31):
me some of these things.
Speaker 26 (01:21:38):
She's my best friend, even now after everything. If there's
anything that I can do to.
Speaker 13 (01:21:50):
Bring her back, I'm gonna try it.
Speaker 9 (01:22:05):
And this is why you seek Tim Cross.
Speaker 26 (01:22:15):
But that my knuckles tightened as I pull them into fists.
Speaker 28 (01:22:22):
M Yeah, an interesting story about this, Tim Cross.
Speaker 13 (01:22:34):
Indeed, yeah, I'll admit that. Uh.
Speaker 26 (01:22:46):
I probably should have read the pamphlet for the convention
a little more closely, but I didn't think it was relevant.
Speaker 13 (01:22:53):
At the time.
Speaker 10 (01:22:56):
Regardless of what happened to you in this other world world,
it bears no matter here in Regalia.
Speaker 26 (01:23:10):
That's not true, your majesty. He comes from where I
came from.
Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
He's here.
Speaker 26 (01:23:25):
I saw through the video feed what he did to her.
He's very much a real threat, as much of a
threat as the Valkyrie might be.
Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
Perhaps.
Speaker 12 (01:23:45):
But one thing that I know.
Speaker 9 (01:23:49):
The Valkyrie.
Speaker 10 (01:23:51):
Moon before she even met this one. There were tales
of her losing control, and more than just tales, I
(01:24:16):
had seen it personally. She is not in her right mind.
Speaker 26 (01:24:28):
My shoulders drop a little and as I furrow my
brows together.
Speaker 13 (01:24:36):
What happened? What did she do?
Speaker 9 (01:24:57):
This is not a game of question and answer. It's
suffice it to say.
Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
This, Jan that you knew.
Speaker 9 (01:25:14):
She is gone?
Speaker 26 (01:25:20):
No, No, Jen took me back to the airship.
Speaker 13 (01:25:33):
No what of all.
Speaker 9 (01:25:35):
The people that she has killed?
Speaker 10 (01:25:38):
Do you think that our world is some sort of
as you call it game?
Speaker 26 (01:25:49):
I don't think I can hide the guilty look that
crosses over my face.
Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
The Empress descends the stairs and she stands before you.
She towers over you. She's about moons, a little under
moon's height, so probably like six six six seven, something
like that.
Speaker 13 (01:26:17):
I look up at her as she approaches.
Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
And there is that.
Speaker 8 (01:26:30):
Sense of like impending doom. As she's descending the stairs.
Speaker 1 (01:26:34):
Every step of her boot upon the stairs, the marbled
stairs makes a reverberating sound.
Speaker 13 (01:26:51):
Steel.
Speaker 26 (01:26:51):
The hairs on the back of my neck, my arms,
my tail, they bristle, as my ears.
Speaker 13 (01:26:57):
Flatten against my head. It's involuntary, it's just instinct.
Speaker 8 (01:27:07):
Greg is very nervous beside you.
Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Greg, hmm. Dragon Empress reaches the last stair and she
grabs the front of your clothing and lifts you up
(01:27:35):
off the ground. She slaps you across the face hard.
Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
What do I feel like?
Speaker 26 (01:27:54):
I take my hands into her hold.
Speaker 11 (01:28:02):
Does this feel like a game?
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
She slaps you again.
Speaker 11 (01:28:10):
No, does this feel like a game?
Speaker 13 (01:28:24):
No, you're rusty.
Speaker 1 (01:28:26):
She drops you.
Speaker 26 (01:28:28):
I fall into a crumpled heap on the floor.
Speaker 13 (01:28:35):
I don't get up.
Speaker 6 (01:28:36):
Hm.
Speaker 1 (01:28:43):
She looks towards Gregg and she says, I have not
seen you for some time. You let her believe this
is some sort of fantasy.
Speaker 12 (01:28:58):
Some sort of game.
Speaker 13 (01:29:01):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:29:04):
Silence, Greg, is your connection to Moon severed? Answer me?
Speaker 13 (01:29:24):
I nod my head weakly. I bite my lip.
Speaker 10 (01:29:43):
He says that he can no longer sense Moon, their
companion bond is severed.
Speaker 13 (01:29:53):
What I look over to Craig mm.
Speaker 1 (01:30:00):
Hmmm, kind of looks down at the ground.
Speaker 23 (01:30:07):
Mm hmmm hm.
Speaker 13 (01:30:12):
How long has it been like.
Speaker 9 (01:30:13):
This since you arrived at the ship.
Speaker 26 (01:30:26):
Mm hmmm mm hmmmm.
Speaker 19 (01:30:32):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 13 (01:30:33):
That's just.
Speaker 26 (01:30:36):
Probably means that you just bonded to me, Right, we're friends, right, Greg?
Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
Greg looks up at you, mhm h leave, shake m hm,
puts a hand on your shoulder.
Speaker 18 (01:30:55):
M hm m hmmmm.
Speaker 10 (01:31:07):
Listen to me. You think me some evil tyrant or
despot like most in Ragalia. But I do what must
(01:31:27):
be done for my people, for this empire. I severed all.
Speaker 12 (01:31:40):
Tiny all of my highs.
Speaker 9 (01:31:48):
With a valkyrie long ago, and you should too. This
is no game.
Speaker 12 (01:32:06):
People live and die here.
Speaker 13 (01:32:10):
I wrote about my cheek as she says.
Speaker 10 (01:32:12):
That it may be different than your world, but it
is just as real. I do not know what him
Cross has done, but is takeover of the Dragmoor laboratories
(01:32:39):
will be investigated.
Speaker 9 (01:32:43):
I assure you we will find.
Speaker 10 (01:32:48):
Him, and when we do, I will fry every pounds
of information from his lips. And when he is done,
I will keep him.
Speaker 9 (01:33:10):
Alive for as long as I can.
Speaker 13 (01:33:18):
Let me help.
Speaker 9 (01:33:19):
You'll teach him.
Speaker 17 (01:33:22):
Let me help you.
Speaker 9 (01:33:24):
Never to Cross.
Speaker 10 (01:33:28):
The Dragon, Empress of mill Afax.
Speaker 26 (01:33:37):
Please, Empress, let me help you. Surely he knows that
I'm not from here. You could use that to your advantage.
(01:33:57):
Speak well, I mean, clearly, there's some kind of connection
with me and my own in this world where heroes
or something, and he's from my world. I'm sure he
(01:34:26):
can sense it too. Maybe my friends can help.
Speaker 1 (01:34:36):
She begins to walk up the stairs back to her throne.
She sits down roughly on it. She snaps her fingers.
Speaker 26 (01:34:49):
I crawl a little bit in her direction, still on
the floor. You could use my companions, and I, as bait,
could draw him out.
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
She snaps her fingers and you hear the stomping of
guard that remains, and they open up a door.
Speaker 13 (01:35:17):
I sit back and I watch as.
Speaker 1 (01:35:21):
This door opens. Dragon behind the throne eyes this scene
as you see two guards entering dragging someone by the
arms into the chamber. The guards deposit this person behind
(01:35:47):
you as they slump to the ground. You recognize this
person from the Dragmoor laboratory. Their uniform is disheveled. They
are bruised and battered. They have some burn marks. They
(01:36:15):
were in the lobby walking past you when you first
entered the labs.
Speaker 12 (01:36:27):
A survivor.
Speaker 26 (01:36:35):
I remember seeing them. They greeted us. No, they were
there when we were greeted in the lobby.
Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
They're kind of whimpering a little bit. They sort of
push themselves up onto their arms.
Speaker 26 (01:37:00):
I avoid looking them in the eyes, and I try
to tear my gaze away. I'm trying to tell myself
that this is just an MPC, and this is just
a quest.
Speaker 12 (01:37:17):
Please empress.
Speaker 13 (01:37:20):
I.
Speaker 1 (01:37:22):
I'm just a simple servant.
Speaker 12 (01:37:26):
Please silence.
Speaker 10 (01:37:34):
This one has already spoken of him Cross.
Speaker 1 (01:37:47):
I wish to know more.
Speaker 12 (01:37:51):
Told you well than I know.
Speaker 9 (01:37:54):
We shall see.
Speaker 10 (01:38:03):
She motions towards you. Is one of the saviors party,
a hero, your.
Speaker 12 (01:38:20):
Your majesty, I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (01:38:26):
Can you sense it upon her?
Speaker 19 (01:38:31):
What?
Speaker 12 (01:38:36):
Open your mind?
Speaker 5 (01:38:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (01:38:43):
Oh, there's something.
Speaker 1 (01:38:47):
You see this person maybe out of the corner of
your eye, looking towards you.
Speaker 12 (01:38:53):
Yes, you feel.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
Eh, it's like a buzzing.
Speaker 11 (01:39:03):
Yes, this is.
Speaker 10 (01:39:09):
What a hero's aura feels like. We know instinctively that
you are not from this place, You are not born
in Regalia. Everyone can sense this, and yet this is
(01:39:38):
the first time you have felt this.
Speaker 12 (01:39:41):
Yes, yes, your majesty.
Speaker 10 (01:39:47):
We did not get the chance to meet them when
they came.
Speaker 13 (01:39:50):
To the lab, but I know that they were there.
Speaker 9 (01:39:55):
And yet.
Speaker 12 (01:39:58):
You met Tim Cross, Yes many times.
Speaker 23 (01:40:08):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 9 (01:40:11):
Hmm, his Tim Cross a hero.
Speaker 26 (01:40:20):
I turn where I'm sitting and I look down at
the attendant.
Speaker 5 (01:40:29):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 12 (01:40:32):
Maybe sense nothing from Tim Cross.
Speaker 26 (01:40:42):
That doesn't make any sense. That doesn't make any sense.
How can he be here unless he's controlling it from
(01:41:06):
the outside. He would have admin permission.
Speaker 9 (01:41:21):
You say this word admin.
Speaker 26 (01:41:24):
I I'm not an expert. It's Vake, the other party member.
You might remember, he's a slime bo. He knows more about.
Speaker 13 (01:41:46):
Those sort of things. But in my world, Regalia was.
Speaker 26 (01:41:55):
And my voice trails off and I look away from
her as I say, Regalia was a game, and there
would be powerful users that have the ability to change things,
control things.
Speaker 13 (01:42:13):
That's an admin.
Speaker 12 (01:42:14):
I'm sort of God.
Speaker 26 (01:42:19):
In a way, but strictly speaking, just within the framework
of what they've made.
Speaker 10 (01:42:29):
He did not make this place. Regalia has existed for
thousands of years.
Speaker 26 (01:42:44):
I shrink down under the weight of her voice. Maybe
do you think it's impossible that maybe this world isn't
(01:43:05):
exactly what you thought it was.
Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
She turns her head towards the guard's weight behind this researcher.
Speaker 29 (01:43:21):
Hey Kim, please your majesty please, I only wish to
serve matterfax Please my family, your.
Speaker 6 (01:43:36):
Majesty, please please stop back to the dungeon and I look.
Speaker 26 (01:43:41):
Away, try to tell myself that he's just an NPC.
M M.
Speaker 9 (01:44:02):
Do you know where Moon is now?
Speaker 26 (01:44:07):
No, she left me, But I think if I'm reunited
with the others, maybe we can find her.
Speaker 4 (01:44:22):
M m hm.
Speaker 5 (01:44:26):
Hm hm.
Speaker 1 (01:44:32):
She taps her fingers like her claws on the on
the arms of the throne, and they like flatter loudly
echoing through.
Speaker 23 (01:44:42):
The room, and look at her feet.
Speaker 1 (01:44:59):
H to pay extra for that, hm, I.
Speaker 13 (01:45:05):
Always have fifteen cents.
Speaker 1 (01:45:10):
I couldn't resist, sir.
Speaker 12 (01:45:13):
She says, they are currently.
Speaker 10 (01:45:20):
In infernia and you wish to join them.
Speaker 26 (01:45:31):
Yes, or have them join me, just to reconnect with
them somehow.
Speaker 9 (01:45:53):
There is a way.
Speaker 1 (01:45:58):
It is normally reserved.
Speaker 9 (01:46:03):
Ranking officials and emergencies.
Speaker 13 (01:46:12):
My ears perk up and I look up at her.
Speaker 10 (01:46:19):
You will contact them now? I assume you have some
sort of communication scroll.
Speaker 26 (01:46:27):
Yes, of course, And I open my inventory in front
of her, and I pull the scroll out of nothingness
and I hold it in front of me.
Speaker 4 (01:46:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:46:38):
You can hear like the guards like drawing steel, like
the lances get drawn up the second you pull out
your inventory and empress waves a hand.
Speaker 26 (01:46:50):
I have a scroll communication scroll. I've been in intermittent
contact with them.
Speaker 1 (01:47:08):
She's contemplative at the moment. She's staring you up and down.
Speaker 10 (01:47:15):
I struggle to find which will be more beneficial for
you to join them or for them to join you regardless,
(01:47:40):
contact them, find out if you wish for them to
join you here, we can summon them here. Otherwise, I
will send you to Infernia on one condition. Yes, anything,
(01:48:14):
you will find Moon, and when you do, you will
contact me immediately.
Speaker 13 (01:48:30):
I begin nodding fervently. Yes, Yes, I can do that.
I will do that.
Speaker 1 (01:48:35):
Are you trying to lie?
Speaker 25 (01:48:38):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:48:39):
Okay.
Speaker 26 (01:48:41):
I am of the impression that this is in our
best interest. This is our most powerful potential ally, and
I'm convinced that the Empress wants to take out tim
Cross as much as I do, so, as far as
I'm aware, we are perfectly aligned.
Speaker 1 (01:49:00):
Quest shows up.
Speaker 13 (01:49:07):
I reach your.
Speaker 26 (01:49:07):
Hand up in the air and I begin to access
the quest Long.
Speaker 1 (01:49:12):
You can see a new quest from the Dragon Empress.
Find Moon. There's no reward listed.
Speaker 13 (01:49:27):
I can do this. I will do this, and I
close the quest.
Speaker 10 (01:49:32):
Long very well. Reach out to them, find out what
will be best, and I won't make it so because
it is within my power.
Speaker 26 (01:49:54):
Yes, of course, and I bow my head deeply, almost
to the floor where I'm still sitting.
Speaker 13 (01:50:03):
Thank you, Empress.
Speaker 1 (01:50:13):
She motions towards the guard and they begin to escort
you out of the room.
Speaker 26 (01:50:30):
I slowly, stiffly get up to my feet, and as
we're leaving, I gesture slowly to Greg to follow me.
Speaker 1 (01:50:41):
Greg stays behind for a second, and Greg and the
and the dragon Empress begin to have a conversation. She's
speaking does not appear to be the same language that
Greg is speaking. It's kind of grating, and it sounds
(01:51:07):
sounds like leather, sort of rubbing on leather, sort of
sounds coming out of her mouth. But Greg seems to understand.
Speaker 26 (01:51:22):
Seeing that he's not coming immediately with me, I'll stop
about halfway out of the room and turn and just watch.
Speaker 1 (01:51:40):
And entriguing.
Speaker 12 (01:51:43):
You may leave, Greg wood that.
Speaker 1 (01:51:50):
Greg turns around begins to follow you.
Speaker 13 (01:51:54):
I offer him my hand, so we hold hands out.
Speaker 1 (01:52:03):
Step outside and the guard, I guess the guard will
sort of transfer you to the guards that are outside.
There's two guards outside the door. One of them begins
to speak with this guard and says, the.
Speaker 10 (01:52:23):
Empress has bade them to contact someone and get back
to her.
Speaker 4 (01:52:29):
See that you bring the.
Speaker 1 (01:52:30):
Message back promptly, Yes, God, captain, And they begin to
escort you to some kind of like waiting room type
area just kind of comfortable with some touches and chairs.
Speaker 26 (01:52:53):
Once they bring me there, do they leave?
Speaker 1 (01:52:58):
There's a guard that waits at the entrance to the room.
Speaker 13 (01:53:01):
Okay, like inside the room with me? Okay.
Speaker 26 (01:53:06):
I sit down on one of the couches and I
as I exhale, so much tension leaves my body.
Speaker 13 (01:53:16):
I curl my spine.
Speaker 12 (01:53:19):
Crag.
Speaker 26 (01:53:19):
Are you okay?
Speaker 29 (01:53:22):
That was a lot.
Speaker 19 (01:53:28):
H What does she want from you?
Speaker 5 (01:53:38):
M hm?
Speaker 25 (01:53:39):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:53:43):
Greg shakes his head.
Speaker 30 (01:53:45):
Okay, do you think that this is a bad idea?
Speaker 25 (01:54:00):
Uh Greg?
Speaker 1 (01:54:16):
I imagine Greg will.
Speaker 8 (01:54:20):
Take a second before he responds and then.
Speaker 1 (01:54:26):
Shakes his head.
Speaker 13 (01:54:30):
Okay, I'm gonna send the message now, all right? And
I pulled the scroll back out.
Speaker 26 (01:54:41):
And I begin to compose a message to Iris. Hey,
so a lot of things have just happened.
Speaker 13 (01:54:57):
Are you there?
Speaker 1 (01:54:59):
There's no immediate spots.
Speaker 26 (01:55:02):
Okay, well you're a reader.
Speaker 13 (01:55:05):
I'm sure this will be.
Speaker 26 (01:55:06):
Fine, and I will begin to info dump everything that
just happened. I don't hold anything back, and I'll just
tell what happened in the throne room with the Empress
and the deal that I have agreed to.
Speaker 8 (01:55:21):
Okay, we switch scenes.
Speaker 1 (01:55:31):
The cavern that our Infernia group is in. We find
our three party members kind of in a sticky situation.
(01:55:52):
The shadow has leaked from the ceiling onto the ground
and you can see these wolf dog like creatures begin
to manifest from the shadow as iris you begin to
feel your communication scroll go off. There's that horrible sort
(01:56:14):
of pinging, ringing sound that's happening as you can see
these wolf creatures begin to form from the shadow. And
I need you all to please roll some initiative.
Speaker 19 (01:56:36):
Shift click that initiative check for or the group check
or whoever's doing it.
Speaker 12 (01:56:42):
I'm not I have a question.
Speaker 4 (01:56:45):
Sure, this is above table. I wasn't here. Do we
get the things from the tests, the gifts from the town?
Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
This? This is the thing that your reward that you're
you're doing the thing that gets you the reward.
Speaker 4 (01:57:03):
Oh so the other reward meeting? Good?
Speaker 1 (01:57:05):
Correct?
Speaker 19 (01:57:07):
No, the one from the previous thing that we did
to get entrance. You did get one of those three
options that were given to you.
Speaker 4 (01:57:13):
Yeah, I wasn't able to get that, but I would
have gotten the gloves. Okay, so we can add the bonus,
so I would do is this plus fourdy initiative of
that as well? I think that's what gloves did.
Speaker 3 (01:57:25):
Sure, do you want to roll instead then? Or how
does that work with the group check?
Speaker 19 (01:57:30):
We pick who leads it. So if Anders wants to
go ahead and lead it or if you want.
Speaker 4 (01:57:34):
To it, doesn't he's already been done, So I'll just.
Speaker 3 (01:57:40):
Just exceed.
Speaker 6 (01:57:41):
Easy.
Speaker 1 (01:57:50):
That is good. You are going to go first? Okay?
As these sing massive wolf looking creatures emerged from the shadows.
They're like huge, by the way, these creatures are the
(01:58:11):
size of a horse. Yeah, they're massive. They emerge from
the shadows, you immediately see these purple sort of glowing
eyes in the shadows as they emerge. Who is going first?
Speaker 3 (01:58:30):
Any takers?
Speaker 4 (01:58:33):
So did these get these just found us or were
they alerted by one of us?
Speaker 1 (01:58:37):
Well, you all went down this path and you you
did effectively.
Speaker 8 (01:58:46):
Get spotted by these creatures.
Speaker 3 (01:58:48):
All right, I'm gonna go ahead and tumble and roll
in front of my party, bounce up into the air,
and then the front of my slime's gonna open up
like I'm gaping more. And as it pulls open, it
makes a weird noise as I make a thundering rule.
Speaker 1 (01:59:09):
Okay from the tide caller. Okay, very well, that's twenty
MP to cast that. But as you do, reverberates like
a base speaker. I think we see from the back
you see Bo vibrating like a base speaker, you know,
(01:59:29):
with the subwarfer like yeah, okay, uh, and that's gonna
cast shaken on all three of these yes, mm hmm okay,
and that's my ten. Alrighty. I really wish that the
(01:59:59):
icons for the status effects were bigger, Eric teeny tiny
if you go to that right click menu for these creatures. Okay, right,
all right, and let's see the first one here is
going to we could do that. We could do that.
That's interesting. M okay. I think the first one here
(02:00:34):
is going to unleash its own sort of roar and howl,
verberating through the cave, echoing off the cave. And we'll
do this set up for random I think. So let's
(02:00:58):
find out. I'm gonna push the button to iris and
that is a miss iris. Uh, you're able to keep
it together as this creature tries to shake you with fear. Okay,
(02:01:18):
who's next.
Speaker 19 (02:01:23):
I'll go I'm going to go ahead, and I'll turn
my gaze towards enders and you'll feel this sort of
energy begin to surround you like you are my prime focus.
As I select him from my cognitive focus for the round.
This will make it so that I am able to
cast spells for eight points less of mona on him
(02:01:45):
as well. And I'm going to go ahead and cast
due to hypercognition because I have four points in it
and he's a single target, and I'm going to go
ahead and cast acceleration upon him.
Speaker 1 (02:01:57):
And this is on you said, Enders.
Speaker 19 (02:02:00):
Is on Enders, so it'll be twelve mon instead of
twenty for me.
Speaker 4 (02:02:03):
If you don't.
Speaker 1 (02:02:06):
Very nice? Is that for your turn?
Speaker 19 (02:02:09):
You've got this enders?
Speaker 1 (02:02:11):
That's my Karen, you don't.
Speaker 4 (02:02:13):
I'm trying to find out is there something about the dragon?
Speaker 1 (02:02:17):
I don't think, So you just get an extra single
additional action during your turn for two.
Speaker 19 (02:02:23):
Turns, okay, for two total actions.
Speaker 1 (02:02:28):
This one is gonna go. And let's see this one
will uh? You can see like the shadows begin to
collect from around this creature and travel like into its mouth.
As you see this, like magenta sort of purply glow
start to emanate from the creature as it becomes consumed
(02:02:50):
by shadows, and it will cast ember Breath, which is
a spell, but it is unfortunately, probably not gonna help
you very much.
Speaker 3 (02:03:00):
Bo stingy demons.
Speaker 1 (02:03:06):
Towards Enders, and that is a miss. As you see
this shadow fire blast out towards enders. Enders is quick
enough to avoid it, though.
Speaker 4 (02:03:19):
I'll just move my head as it goes by.
Speaker 1 (02:03:21):
It is your turn.
Speaker 4 (02:03:22):
Enders look towards Iris and I just nod and then I, uh,
magically pull out. Well I'm not this flavor text magically
pulled out. Finally, this expensive bow that I should never bought,
and going to aim at one in front? Which one shadow?
(02:03:43):
That's the one in front?
Speaker 1 (02:03:44):
Uh, this one is the one that just tried to
breathe shadow flame.
Speaker 4 (02:03:48):
Upon Yeah, thats getting it. Okay, see this works.
Speaker 1 (02:03:53):
Oh jesus, pretty fucking good. Wow you got a plus
I've jesus that bow is crazy.
Speaker 19 (02:04:02):
Technically it would have been a plus seven actually because
of support magic that I forgot about that.
Speaker 3 (02:04:08):
Oh is that physical damage or no, it's not a
mental damage.
Speaker 1 (02:04:13):
Okay, I believe it's air. It looks like it's air.
Speaker 4 (02:04:17):
It's not supposed to be air. I think it's supposed
to be lightning.
Speaker 1 (02:04:21):
I think that bow is air. Oh it's unless air.
Speaker 4 (02:04:24):
You're right, you're right, you're right, You're right, it is.
There's a different lightning bow.
Speaker 8 (02:04:28):
This is fair.
Speaker 1 (02:04:30):
Yes, when you let loose this arrow, what does it
look like.
Speaker 4 (02:04:36):
Anders, I'm not actually holding the bow anymore. I don't
do that anymore. It's actually floating in the air in
front of me, and I'm doing the gestures as if
I am pulling back the bow string. But magically the
arrow is manifested in my hand and it goes from
like a normal sized arrow to a giant one, and
it shoots out and the wind just blows towards all
(02:04:58):
of us. As the arrow is traveling in a spiral
emotion digs into the enemy.
Speaker 17 (02:05:04):
Loretta gripo energy.
Speaker 1 (02:05:07):
Okay, very nice. Is that it for return? Do you
want to use your yes?
Speaker 4 (02:05:14):
And with that, I'm going to collect the air from
the stream of the first arrow and do it again.
Speaker 1 (02:05:24):
Another hit. You see the creature howl in pain as
the gust of air probably like disperses some of the
shadow where it hits. It does that like anime thing,
you know, like when something like a really powerful attack happens,
(02:05:46):
like that circle like you see like get evaporated from
the enemy. It looks a little bit like that. Okay,
very cool. Let's see the last one. Is it going
to go? And it will temp You also breathe this
(02:06:07):
shadow flame, the ember breath that is a hit this
time on Enders. Uh As you launched that second attack Enders,
you don't see the one in the back casting this
shadow flame. It looks a little bit like fucking Amaturasu
(02:06:28):
blasting out towards you, and it like catches up onto
your leg and burns you. You feel intense twenty five
fire damage from this creature around worries.
Speaker 3 (02:06:41):
First I bounce up into the air and then my, my,
my membrane starts to freeze over and go, and then
I'm just a small opening forms and freezing breath shoots
out at the nearest creature or which which one has
been hit? Them out?
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
One in the middle, all right?
Speaker 3 (02:07:03):
Then it shoots out of the most whacked out looking one.
Speaker 1 (02:07:08):
That's a crit opportunity opportunity.
Speaker 3 (02:07:11):
Where do we get opportunity? Can I kill it? No opportunities?
Give me? These are these?
Speaker 18 (02:07:21):
All?
Speaker 3 (02:07:21):
Okay? Wow, scan plot twist progress lost item. But a
question about what we're doing right now. We're looking for
a nest, right m maybe all right, maybe perhaps we're
(02:07:45):
doing progress kind of lead us to the nest.
Speaker 19 (02:07:50):
Maybe information might help.
Speaker 1 (02:07:52):
Well, I think both will kind of give you the
same thing. I'm gonna I'm gonna just sort of tie
them both together here, Okay, say definitely. Yeah, I'm gonna
say that you can maybe when you hit this creature
with the ice, you can reveal like what appears to
(02:08:12):
be I imagine probably like a trail of blood as
some of the shadows from this creature recovering it. Maybe
you didn't notice it when you first came in. You
appear to be on the right path for uh, something
was bleeding and it was dragged through this middle path.
Speaker 3 (02:08:35):
Okay, I believe that this thing is also going to
get plus five extra damage because they're shaken.
Speaker 1 (02:08:44):
Very nice. Okay, let's see does that actually happened?
Speaker 8 (02:08:53):
Nope?
Speaker 1 (02:08:58):
Very nice.
Speaker 3 (02:08:59):
Okay. The kind of the rhyme that kind of covers
the creature starts to like as it starts to melt
because it's ice, it starts to look like slime. You
hear a bit of as and then like it drips
off him and then kind of like returns back to
me as I get two manna points back.
Speaker 1 (02:09:19):
Oh, very nice, very nice. That's my time. My gather
slime sound effect. Okay, it's literally called gather slime.
Speaker 3 (02:09:39):
The one that jump scape that.
Speaker 1 (02:09:44):
Okay, very nice. The one in the front here is
gonna go and I think what it's gonna do is
rush forward and try and ghost bite somebody.
Speaker 8 (02:09:56):
Oh okay, let's see.
Speaker 1 (02:10:03):
Ooh, that's a crit on Bo Bo. As you're sort
of recovering that slime from your ice attack one of
the other ones. The shadows quickly move across the ground
and the creature like pops up from the shadows and
it takes like a chunk out of you for seventeen
(02:10:24):
physical damage. And why the target regular defense? That's a mistake.
That should be targetting magical defense. Still should have been
a hit with an eighteen CRID But I will fix that. Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:10:44):
Wait, so their attack was a even number. That means
I get to counterattack.
Speaker 1 (02:10:50):
Baby, Uh, very cool. Let me just see. I don't
know if you still get that on a crit though,
hit or miss you doesn't say shit about a crit. Okay,
but hold on, it's gonna will also get an opportunity
on you, okay, which is gonna be you pop affliction.
(02:11:15):
I think we're gonna make you. Let's see here.
Speaker 3 (02:11:23):
Uh week, Oh doesn't sound very nice. Week, it's starting
your knees because he hasn't a produces. My mic died
by one. Let's press that I get there.
Speaker 1 (02:11:41):
You go, okay, now you can do your bullshit all right?
Speaker 3 (02:11:45):
Then yes, I will. I swing my ax log pseudopod
at the creature.
Speaker 1 (02:11:53):
So it would be this first one, not the second one.
But okay, difference that is a hit, okay.
Speaker 3 (02:12:01):
For sixteen points of damage. And then as I do
because I forgot to before and I think I can
do it now as well. Anyway, oh did it die?
Speaker 1 (02:12:12):
It shouldn't have. It was supposed to be the one
that I had targeted. I don't know why I didn't
do that.
Speaker 3 (02:12:17):
Okay, well regardless, I will use let it go, come on,
brain work faster. I'm gonna use genoclepsis so, which means
that I'd like to know what feryer forms it has,
and for listeners, are very of forms, basically like what
kind of creature is it?
Speaker 1 (02:12:37):
Is a flyer?
Speaker 3 (02:12:37):
Is it like a wolf kind of thing? Is it
a bird? Is it a plane? And then I can
get features from it?
Speaker 1 (02:12:44):
Okay, pull up the giant list of bullshit, HM hmmm.
So glad that they have a list. If this, if
I had to do this every time from the book,
I'd kill my So okay, let's see stonar regenerating creatures, wolves,
(02:13:05):
birds of prey, it would definitely be are packed.
Speaker 3 (02:13:12):
Are packed tita yep.
Speaker 31 (02:13:14):
Okay, uh, I think that's it. Okay, but I think
(02:13:40):
that's the only one.
Speaker 3 (02:13:41):
In that case, my slimy exterior starts to look like
it's got like it's almost like leaves but like fur,
like h it's just to get folds on top of
each other. And I'm more like a I don't know,
I got like like a triple let a slime and uh,
I'm gonna have to remove a third of my HP.
And I think that said fifty four. Now as I
(02:14:05):
look a little bit more loopine, I'll packed tita.
Speaker 1 (02:14:08):
Ish slime dogg o activate.
Speaker 3 (02:14:12):
Slime dog go go slim dogg.
Speaker 1 (02:14:17):
Okay, that is it for its turn? Who's next?
Speaker 4 (02:14:22):
So one is truly down?
Speaker 1 (02:14:24):
No, this is just sorry, God, no problem.
Speaker 4 (02:14:28):
I just want to make sure apologies. M hm, alright,
it looks to oars.
Speaker 8 (02:14:34):
I mean.
Speaker 19 (02:14:37):
I'm I'm gesturing towards you because.
Speaker 6 (02:14:40):
All right, to make sure you.
Speaker 1 (02:14:42):
Two are okay, okay, awkward like after you no no, no, no,
please please, after you no no in the middle of combat.
Speaker 19 (02:14:50):
With the encyclopedia that I have, like, no, no, all no,
I'm just trying to find out things.
Speaker 4 (02:14:55):
Okay. I will hold my hand back and then gather
some of the shadows, place it at my feet, and
then bend down and touched the ground as the shadows
swiftly go towards I don't know what dog attacked me.
I'm just gonna go towards the middle one and I've
been working on and be like and I'll say, you're
not the only one that controls shadows, and I will
(02:15:19):
h Okay, I'm gonna press the skilling and I have
to do decks decks okay, okay.
Speaker 19 (02:15:26):
But.
Speaker 1 (02:15:29):
Oh that was a cool smoke effect.
Speaker 3 (02:15:31):
What the fuck that was? Sick?
Speaker 4 (02:15:34):
Uh? I have to do what a roll check is?
What it is? Yeah, I gotta figure out how to
fix this right. Decks decks.
Speaker 1 (02:15:44):
Difficulties versus magic defense is eight?
Speaker 4 (02:15:50):
You said I'd get a plus two.
Speaker 17 (02:15:54):
No, that was only for one attack.
Speaker 3 (02:15:56):
Supart Okay?
Speaker 4 (02:15:56):
Cool? To make sure I's a fourteen Okay, that is
a had twelve Okay, so it's twenty one damage, shadow
damage or dark damage, and uh, I recovered the amount
of hit points that was lost.
Speaker 1 (02:16:16):
Very cool.
Speaker 4 (02:16:17):
So you'll see a shadow come up from behind it. It
looked just like Indus or me, and instead it will
grab his face and then pull down and you'll see
red eclipse where the scratch was and bare teeth. And
then it'll sink into the neck of this wolf and
drain is vigor.
Speaker 1 (02:16:36):
You can feel the vigor being drained from this creature.
But like at the same time, like you can feel
like the dark damage doesn't seem to affect it as
much as you expect.
Speaker 19 (02:16:52):
Half as well of the hit points, not all of them.
Speaker 1 (02:16:55):
Get here's I see it.
Speaker 4 (02:16:58):
I see it automatically apply as cut.
Speaker 17 (02:17:03):
Well, it would have been ten and then half of it.
Speaker 4 (02:17:05):
No, it didn't, It didn't apply.
Speaker 1 (02:17:07):
It looked like it did.
Speaker 4 (02:17:09):
It didn't. It says it down there. But remember I
got hit for twenty five.
Speaker 19 (02:17:13):
You had forty nine HP before you had less than both.
Speaker 1 (02:17:16):
Oh really, I saw an effect on your on your couch.
Speaker 4 (02:17:20):
All right, cool, I didn't see it so small, I
can't see it, all right, And I get one more go?
Speaker 1 (02:17:26):
Yes, yeah, last, all right?
Speaker 4 (02:17:29):
Oh, I see that that didn't do as much dandwag
as I wanted to. So I'm going to do barrage.
Let's see you perform a range attack. You may spend
ten minuta to choose one omption the attacks, game multiple two,
or you increase the attacks. Okay, so I can hit twice.
Speaker 1 (02:17:52):
You can get two two target targets, or one twice.
I think you can. I think you can target multiple.
I mean you just double check.
Speaker 4 (02:18:00):
Yeah, it says a maximum of three. I think it
costs Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:18:05):
Multi two doesn't necessarily mean that you have to have
two different targets. It can be the same target.
Speaker 4 (02:18:11):
Okay, all right, let me spend the manner and then
I am going to unleash.
Speaker 1 (02:18:20):
Okay, chi which one?
Speaker 4 (02:18:22):
All right? I'm going to attack this one and this one? Hey,
not the whole ship.
Speaker 1 (02:18:27):
And then okay, both hit.
Speaker 4 (02:18:34):
Same thing some in the I pull the bow out,
and this time I summon multiple of the arrows, just
half the size of the large one, and shoot them
out towards these shadows.
Speaker 1 (02:18:45):
Very cool. Both hit. You see one of the arrows
sink right through what appears to be some kind of
core located in the center of this creature the shadows
enveloping it high it. But you see something sort of
shatter in the shadows and you hear this whimper and
(02:19:08):
the shadows disperse from the one in the middle.
Speaker 4 (02:19:12):
There's your weakness. Attack the core. That something the words located.
Speaker 1 (02:19:18):
Oki doki ang is oh okay, Uh. The one in
the back is gonna go.
Speaker 17 (02:19:36):
Give John up.
Speaker 1 (02:19:40):
I can zoom in a little bit more when I
do that. Okay, this one is going to.
Speaker 25 (02:19:49):
Let's see.
Speaker 2 (02:19:58):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:19:58):
This one will use breath huh. As you see it
begin to collect the shadows, you get ready to breathe
that shadow flame again.
Speaker 18 (02:20:12):
Gold.
Speaker 1 (02:20:13):
That is a hit on bo.
Speaker 3 (02:20:15):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:20:16):
You're gonna take twenty two fire damage.
Speaker 3 (02:20:18):
Bo I guess I will, and.
Speaker 1 (02:20:23):
You're already weak, otherwise it would make you suffer weak
as well.
Speaker 3 (02:20:29):
Okay, how do I take the damage? I press the button? Ah,
I mean crisis h emergency iris. Oh that is not good.
Speaker 19 (02:20:40):
I turn my focus over towards bow and I'm flipping
through the pages. Okay, all right, yep, I need to
concentrate my manna and I'm going to sign bo as
my cognitive focus for this round, and my hyper cognition
then kicks in I will cast heel for two mana,
So that's gonna bring me to eighty six mona instead,
(02:21:02):
and you were going to get fifty hit points because
we're level twenty now and.
Speaker 17 (02:21:07):
Wait, there's more.
Speaker 19 (02:21:09):
You're going to also get an additional twelve because of
my skill level two and healing power as well as
a plus two because if our bond with support magic.
Speaker 3 (02:21:21):
Stop so much over healing, I'm going to pop this is.
Speaker 1 (02:21:26):
Have you seen Overlord that like time where he's like
buffing himself and it's just like last for like ten minutes.
That's iris.
Speaker 3 (02:21:36):
What's that spin again?
Speaker 17 (02:21:37):
You just see all these effects kind of come over.
Speaker 19 (02:21:39):
You and I'm just like looking in this book and
then looking at you.
Speaker 17 (02:21:43):
Oh that should be.
Speaker 1 (02:21:45):
It, all right, thank you. Bo was expecting a band
aid and got like injected with nanobots. Go pop new round.
Speaker 3 (02:22:02):
Okay, I'd like to slap them definitely. I've got multi
three with my ferry of former blah blah blah. So
how do I grab both of them with a right
click because I can target one shift T shift T okay,
so they're both targeted and so no more, mister spell guy.
(02:22:25):
I'm gonna go ahead and slack him with a pseudopod.
Speaker 1 (02:22:31):
Those are both hits.
Speaker 3 (02:22:33):
Mm hmm, oh, both hits. Okay. Do I want to
do anything with this? Do I want to do anything
with this? Let me see if I can do anything
with this. Let me just fillibuster a tiny bit because
I can't remember where things are. Oh, okay, you do damage.
Speaker 1 (02:22:51):
DM skilling.
Speaker 23 (02:22:57):
Them.
Speaker 3 (02:22:57):
I don't think I have anything I want to do
because I'm not in crisis, so that doesn't work. But
I'm good. They have been sufficiently slapped. But if they're
in a crisis, they take five extra damage because I'm
a doggie.
Speaker 32 (02:23:13):
Now, okay, alrighty, They're gonna go.
Speaker 1 (02:23:30):
One in the front here is gonna go and it
will try to uh let's see here, I'll try to
ember breath somebody towards enders Enders. You see that roiling
(02:23:52):
shadow flame try to hit you again, but you spin
out of the way of the attack. Who's next?
Speaker 4 (02:24:03):
It's I go again? Mm hmm. Okay. At this time,
Bow was working on the one in the front and presumed,
so I will cast the my cast. Excuse me, how old?
Summon the bow once again and shoot to the one
in the front. Another hit.
Speaker 3 (02:24:27):
Okay, you meant to multi again?
Speaker 4 (02:24:32):
No, why did I do that? I literally just clicked
the both.
Speaker 1 (02:24:35):
It just because the other one is hidden. You want
to unselect? Let me just re roll the damage or okay,
just delete it?
Speaker 4 (02:24:48):
There we go, There we go. Let me. I thought
once it was gone, it was gone? Sorry?
Speaker 1 (02:24:55):
Okay? Uh did do so? That is a hit? Is
you see like more of the shadow just kind of
like dissipate. You hit it like pretty solidly this time?
Speaker 5 (02:25:10):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (02:25:14):
Is that a for your turn?
Speaker 4 (02:25:16):
I see.
Speaker 1 (02:25:18):
Alright e the one in the back, we'll attack with
a ghost bite. It's time tries to snap at you
enders As you rush to look for a place to shoot.
The creature tries to emerge from the shadows behind you,
but you hear it as it's about to chomp on you,
(02:25:40):
and you're able to like maybe boot it out of
the way before it's able to bite you. No, you
around or I'm sorry? Iris, re turn?
Speaker 4 (02:25:52):
Iris turn?
Speaker 19 (02:25:53):
Yes, I'm going to go ahead and I'll slap the
close the book closed that I have in my hands
and begin to close my eyes. And as I begin
to open my eyes, I'm glowing brightly at this point,
and I begin to focus on the one that is
in front of us.
Speaker 17 (02:26:12):
Now, with that.
Speaker 19 (02:26:13):
Being said, since it is shaken, I believe it's still shaken, right, yes, okay,
So that is now my cognitive focus for this round.
So with that in mind, I get a plus one
because I have one point in cognitive focus to my
attack on that one.
Speaker 17 (02:26:28):
But I'm going to do an attack.
Speaker 19 (02:26:29):
On both, so that's going to subtract for MANA for
the spell. But I'm going to go ahead and cast
lucks on both of them. So that should be the
first one. And then I don't know why I have
both targeted, so it should have hit both, yes, whatever whatever.
Speaker 17 (02:26:51):
Whatever, major loser.
Speaker 19 (02:26:53):
So since that was the one that was in front,
it hits that one. And then for the second one,
let me just go ahead and I'll target it separately,
and I will go ahead and cast that again, and
it hits both.
Speaker 1 (02:27:12):
Very nice. You see one of them dissipate as you
lux connects with one of it's the core that seems
to be keeping this shadow creature together and it just shatters.
The other one is hit kind of full blast for
this one, and it was supposed to you said it
(02:27:34):
gets extra damage.
Speaker 17 (02:27:35):
What happens with the cogno, so it was just a
plus to hit.
Speaker 19 (02:27:38):
But I hit both of them anyway. Yeah, So I'll
do it separately next time and just add the modifiers
I have.
Speaker 1 (02:27:44):
I placed the car. There was an effect that you
could do for the cognitive focus, and I put that
on them. So hopefully that works. Now.
Speaker 13 (02:27:51):
Cool?
Speaker 1 (02:27:52):
You were like slamming buttons and I was like, no,
I'm pretty nothing.
Speaker 17 (02:27:55):
I'm just trying to get so much stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:28:00):
Eat action turn succeeded. Okay are you is that? Do
you have to activate?
Speaker 13 (02:28:06):
No more bullshead?
Speaker 26 (02:28:07):
I promise for now?
Speaker 3 (02:28:09):
All right, now you around, Okay. I bounce on the
ground and spin in the air like Sonic. Their headshog
with a showing and then one sudapod swings out in
an arc and tries to club of this creature with
a pseudopod attack.
Speaker 1 (02:28:28):
That is it hit? Okay?
Speaker 3 (02:28:31):
They take five extra points of damage because they're in crisis. Okay, Doc,
and I believe that's my turn.
Speaker 1 (02:28:43):
Wow, it's keeping track of the how long a cognitive
focus is?
Speaker 8 (02:28:46):
Now?
Speaker 17 (02:28:48):
Oh that's so sick.
Speaker 1 (02:28:51):
Cool? All right, good to know.
Speaker 7 (02:28:55):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:28:56):
Is that it for your turn?
Speaker 4 (02:28:57):
Buff?
Speaker 3 (02:28:58):
Mm hmmm? Twenty three points of clumboring damage very.
Speaker 1 (02:29:03):
Well, and I did apply the extra dway. This guy
is gonna I think we'll do another Ember breath. He
targets enders yet again and missus.
Speaker 3 (02:29:25):
In his breath. He really once ends right now.
Speaker 1 (02:29:31):
The shadow. Yeah, this creature is like hurting. It's lashing
out in pain, and it just kind of throws an
Ember breath out and you just barely have to move
to avoid it. Okay, who's next.
Speaker 4 (02:29:47):
It's come and put it out of his misery. Hopefully,
let's target this one and I'm just going to summon
the boat.
Speaker 1 (02:29:53):
And it's again, that is a hit.
Speaker 4 (02:29:57):
How do you kill it a this time? I make
the arrow a little front heavy so that when it
hits and it disperses the shadows, also cracks and explodes
the core as it goes in the wind tunnel, then
buries into his chest, exposes it, and the back end
of the arrow hits the orb and shadows it.
Speaker 1 (02:30:24):
Where is my air effect, It's all the way at
the bottom.
Speaker 4 (02:30:27):
I got you.
Speaker 1 (02:30:36):
As the creature dissipates iris, you begin to see this
message trigger the communications.
Speaker 19 (02:30:50):
Oh, I pull it out from where I have it
because I've been keeping it on my person and kind
of like a little tied to it and I open
it to check. Oh oh oh, okay what uh room
(02:31:17):
met with the Empress didn't well after she was in
prison and her and Craig tried to make money and stuff,
but it didn't really work out. Okay, yeah, not for dinner.
Speaker 13 (02:31:37):
Not for dinner.
Speaker 3 (02:31:39):
The dancer is the easiest class making money. I mean,
what was she doing?
Speaker 13 (02:31:48):
I don't know, but.
Speaker 19 (02:31:51):
It seems like, uh, you might have an option here
to meet up with her soon.
Speaker 3 (02:32:00):
Okay. I was wondering, you know, when we would because
how long has it been? Does Moon know where she is?
Speaker 1 (02:32:10):
It's been a couple of weeks.
Speaker 19 (02:32:14):
I will send a reply to Rue just asking her
if she would like to know where it is we are,
if there's some way for her to be brought to
us directly.
Speaker 23 (02:32:25):
Or if.
Speaker 19 (02:32:29):
If we should complete this and then come to her.
Speaker 13 (02:32:33):
So there's a response almost immediately.
Speaker 26 (02:32:39):
There's a couple of options here, and I think if
you want to come here, the Empress might be able
to make some arrangements, or I could go there. Question mark, questionmark,
question mark, question mark.
Speaker 19 (02:32:54):
Is it some sort of UH air travel or is
it teleportation or something?
Speaker 1 (02:33:02):
I d K.
Speaker 6 (02:33:04):
M hm, wow, she's saying.
Speaker 19 (02:33:10):
She's saying that either we can go to the Empress
or word that we can have routhe sent to us.
Speaker 3 (02:33:17):
I mean if we go, would we be allowed to
from this school? Will they like, you know, expel us?
What's gonna happen?
Speaker 19 (02:33:23):
Well, we should complete this. We do need money really badly?
Rude us too?
Speaker 5 (02:33:27):
Well?
Speaker 3 (02:33:28):
I mean how long? How much long is your semester
here or like you know, tutelage. I mean you could
teach everybody here anyway, but like, how if we leave,
will they like, you know, be like how it is
back you know, at home and be like, oh you
haven't attended as much and so that they're like, you know,
do you dirty? And fire you? Or sorry, expel you?
How does that work?
Speaker 19 (02:33:46):
Well, Professor Droskin, I talked at length about this in
our weeks here, so I don't think it would be
a problem as long as we let them know this
is our final exam as well.
Speaker 3 (02:34:00):
So okay, I.
Speaker 4 (02:34:02):
Don't want to leave until we get what I need
from here, right, And.
Speaker 3 (02:34:08):
You've been never so patience about it because it's a
final time here, you know, right.
Speaker 19 (02:34:14):
All my I'll message Drew back saying, is it possible
for you to be brought here? And I'll basically to
the best of my knowledge, because I would imagine we
would have seen a map, had to know where we
were going, et cetera. Kind of give as much information
about where we are and if there were any coordinates
on it or anything like that, give that over to
Rue too.
Speaker 4 (02:34:34):
I if I can weigh in on the matter. If not,
it's fine, of course, I believe we should go to
the Empress.
Speaker 3 (02:34:47):
Goss. But she's so boring and hot. It's so warm
around her, Okay.
Speaker 4 (02:34:55):
I also would like to speak with her. I have
information concerned in the valpy.
Speaker 19 (02:35:05):
What information?
Speaker 4 (02:35:09):
It's in pieces right now, but I feel it what
I seen, the one that you call moon it is
no longer there. You'll see me pull something up in
the air, open up the console. Yes, villain valkyrie?
Speaker 3 (02:35:42):
What do you mean by that?
Speaker 19 (02:35:47):
Her status has changed?
Speaker 3 (02:35:50):
Right, So she's gone from hero to villain. But we
never chose hero to begin with, So what does it mean.
Speaker 4 (02:35:59):
It means I have a job to do. We have
a duty and a job to do.
Speaker 3 (02:36:07):
I didn't sign up to be no police man, but
we police.
Speaker 19 (02:36:16):
Okay, Well, then I say we complete the mission here
if you do not wish to bring rue to us,
and then we go.
Speaker 4 (02:36:27):
Yes. Capital Also, since then, from the encounters a encounter
that I've had, you need to get a lot stronger.
And that doesn't also doesn't really mean from doing what
(02:36:48):
we're doing. But we need allies, and I feel that
the Empress will support us in our clane, or if
we could.
Speaker 3 (02:36:56):
Find a bunch of poors the.
Speaker 9 (02:36:58):
A good tune.
Speaker 19 (02:37:01):
Okay, I'll let her know that. I'll send a message
once we are complete with this trial.
Speaker 6 (02:37:11):
Very good, and please crawl that of.
Speaker 3 (02:37:16):
Blood on the walls and stuff over there. It looks
like it's getting thicker over there. And I kind of
point with like a city pod using my advantage I
got from that cred.
Speaker 4 (02:37:29):
Okay, Also, is there anything in the ground from the
mobs were killed? I'm going to investigate m.
Speaker 1 (02:37:38):
Yes, absolutely. Who would like to make an inside check?
Speaker 3 (02:37:45):
I got ten.
Speaker 1 (02:37:46):
We can do a group We can do a group.
Speaker 17 (02:37:48):
Chap, I'll lead it.
Speaker 19 (02:37:51):
Do you what difficulty for the.
Speaker 8 (02:37:53):
Check seem.
Speaker 1 (02:38:02):
This will be.
Speaker 8 (02:38:11):
Thirteen thirteen.
Speaker 19 (02:38:13):
Okay, don't forget your.
Speaker 3 (02:38:15):
Bonds, you know, oh a critical never mind? I rolled.
I was like, you know, I've never never succeeded in
these before, But there you go. I don't think it
actually does anything, does it?
Speaker 17 (02:38:31):
When he's no?
Speaker 1 (02:38:32):
Not for the Okay, it is the best that Meyer
has ever rolled.
Speaker 17 (02:38:38):
Do you want the twenty before?
Speaker 3 (02:38:40):
That's right, baby, never to roll that hi ever again?
Speaker 1 (02:38:45):
I mean the entire session. This is the best he's
ever rolled.
Speaker 3 (02:38:48):
Oh yeah, as a table story, to be sure.
Speaker 1 (02:38:53):
Uh, okay, Yes, you're gonna find some stuff. Uh okay,
first and foremost, Yeah, okay, you are going to find
(02:39:26):
uh with a twenty. You're going to find uh roll
me a D ten please.
Speaker 19 (02:39:37):
Five?
Speaker 1 (02:39:38):
You find fifties in it, and you also find what
appears to be something that looks like a uh paw
on the ground, sort of shadowy, sort of looks like
(02:39:58):
something got left behind.
Speaker 3 (02:40:00):
Does it look like it came from one of them?
Or is it actually different?
Speaker 1 (02:40:04):
It's similar, but it is different. Hmm.
Speaker 19 (02:40:10):
Okay, I'll give I know bo doesn't really hold onto money,
so I'll give half of the money over to enders.
Speaker 1 (02:40:19):
It is some kind of fist weapon or brawling.
Speaker 3 (02:40:27):
M curious that I think can we identify it?
Speaker 1 (02:40:31):
So yeah, I think you can uh with this twenty
success effectively, this is a bear paw. A. Yeah, it
is a brawling weapon, and while you use it, while
it is equipped, you are immune to weak.
Speaker 3 (02:40:53):
You know, this would have been really handy when I
was weak in this fight.
Speaker 1 (02:40:58):
It has to be equipped though it is a martial weapon. Hmmm.
Speaker 3 (02:41:04):
I equip it. I don't know. Can I equip it?
I think I can.
Speaker 1 (02:41:08):
We're a weapon master, you absolutely can.
Speaker 19 (02:41:10):
Mm.
Speaker 3 (02:41:11):
Then yeah, I just go. Yeah, I could probably make you.
So that.
Speaker 1 (02:41:18):
Probably not a weapon you would have ever expected to use,
but you can mm hmm. Okay, I will drag this
onto your sheet. I don't think you now if you
have the vision for it, but I will just drag
it on your sheet.
Speaker 25 (02:41:32):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (02:41:34):
So what happens is that, like you see bows, like
a pseudopod extend into the into the glove, and inexplicably,
the bare poor then starts to kind of like in
a flex and then it kind of he pulls it
into himself and then it's gone. But it's not destroyed.
It's just no longer there.
Speaker 17 (02:41:54):
Oh, mysterious, looks like a jack in the box. It's
gonna pop.
Speaker 1 (02:41:58):
Out wonderful, Oh God.
Speaker 17 (02:42:09):
So shall we carry on? Towards the carnage.
Speaker 3 (02:42:12):
Yes, bloody walls over there.
Speaker 19 (02:42:15):
Perhaps we should be very careful bough considering mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (02:42:20):
So just be aware, Bow. If you do want to
use that, make sure to equip it, otherwise the effect
will not stay.
Speaker 3 (02:42:28):
Okay, item spipple.
Speaker 1 (02:42:34):
Equip Also any of your d buffs and buffs that
you had on that last for a scene. Those end?
Speaker 3 (02:42:45):
Okay, the scene is over all?
Speaker 8 (02:42:47):
Right?
Speaker 3 (02:42:48):
Then in that case, the weird like kind of I
guess triple like jelly first starts to recede back into
me and I'm back to my smooth, spherical self. Can
you take the week off me?
Speaker 5 (02:43:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:43:03):
Wait, no, I'm immune to week. Never mind?
Speaker 1 (02:43:07):
Okay, do you follow this trail of blood?
Speaker 18 (02:43:12):
Mmm?
Speaker 3 (02:43:15):
I turned to the others. Do we follow this trail
of blood?
Speaker 4 (02:43:19):
Well?
Speaker 19 (02:43:20):
That's our best lead, is it not?
Speaker 3 (02:43:22):
I guess do we even know what these demons were doing?
Speaker 13 (02:43:28):
I can imagine nothing good?
Speaker 3 (02:43:30):
M What if they're good demons and they've sent us
here to go? What if they what if they send
us here to get rid of us?
Speaker 13 (02:43:40):
Do you think?
Speaker 3 (02:43:41):
So? I don't know that had mistress lady, she's she's
really I don't know, like she's got like a witches
brow up a butt of something. She really doesn't like you.
Speaker 19 (02:43:50):
I don't think that's true. She was very pissed off
at the start, but I think that I've been, you know,
wearing down her tough exterior.
Speaker 3 (02:44:00):
M hm.
Speaker 19 (02:44:01):
Maybe, I don't know. She does seem like she still
hates me.
Speaker 3 (02:44:05):
I don't really know, to be fair, I just thought
it would be the right thing to say. Anywhere else go.
Speaker 1 (02:44:12):
Delving further into the cave, following this trail of blood, Uh,
you come across some torn clothing.
Speaker 3 (02:44:28):
What's the m what's the threat count?
Speaker 19 (02:44:32):
I say, is there any blood or anything on it?
Speaker 4 (02:44:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:44:37):
Yeah, for sure?
Speaker 19 (02:44:39):
And does it look fresh?
Speaker 1 (02:44:41):
Yep? The expensive looking Not really, it looks like it is.
I imagine it's probably like, uh, just like a slightly off
white fabric. It's not like rough spun or anything. But
(02:45:09):
it's probably something something in the middle.
Speaker 3 (02:45:14):
Been part of, like a uniform. Yeah, I think someone
was expelled here. What I mean, look at it. It's
it's it is part of what you guys are wearing.
I presume you're wearing clothes. I haven't just power method
(02:45:36):
gained you into wearing uniforms.
Speaker 1 (02:45:39):
You'd be wearing uniforms.
Speaker 19 (02:45:40):
Yeah, okay, and is it the similar fabric?
Speaker 1 (02:45:45):
Yep, you're right.
Speaker 19 (02:45:52):
Let's be on our guard. Yes, this blood is fresh,
so this wasn't too long ago.
Speaker 1 (02:45:59):
Hm, I'll take an insight check from Iris and Bow.
I think we can have.
Speaker 12 (02:46:08):
A group check from them.
Speaker 3 (02:46:10):
Okay inside is it not group?
Speaker 1 (02:46:14):
Yeah it is. It is a group check.
Speaker 3 (02:46:16):
Okay, insight Europe.
Speaker 1 (02:46:17):
This is difficulty ten, I think.
Speaker 3 (02:46:21):
Okay, we like succeed in helping my friend with a
with a check.
Speaker 8 (02:46:29):
Nope, there it is all right.
Speaker 17 (02:46:33):
I'm gonna use.
Speaker 19 (02:46:36):
Lucky seven on that one to make it a fourteen
or to make it a thirteen.
Speaker 1 (02:46:42):
Okay, Uh, you almost missed something. Iris Bow clearly did
not notice at all. There's uh red hair.
Speaker 10 (02:46:55):
All right.
Speaker 13 (02:46:58):
I think.
Speaker 19 (02:47:00):
I'll blink a few times because I'm not really seeing
it and sort of get a little bit of a
second wind with my focus and noticing the hair. Does
this remind me of anyone?
Speaker 8 (02:47:15):
Yeah? You?
Speaker 1 (02:47:18):
Uh, you had a pretty clear picture of someone with
like some pretty bright red hair a few weeks ago.
Speaker 19 (02:47:28):
Oh it's that student, that.
Speaker 3 (02:47:34):
Girl which one, the wet one?
Speaker 4 (02:47:41):
She was always wet.
Speaker 3 (02:47:42):
You're gonna have to elaporate.
Speaker 4 (02:47:46):
I touched her. She was always wet.
Speaker 19 (02:47:48):
Oh, sweaty, She was sweaty. She did seem quite nervous.
Speaker 4 (02:47:52):
Oh from the exam, tripping all over the place every
time you've slipped off of a times. I just that one. Yes,
in the nervous voice.
Speaker 19 (02:48:03):
Well, we're not seeing her body, so she did. It
doesn't mean that she's dead.
Speaker 3 (02:48:07):
Mm hmmm. She could be possessed or we might have
to help her for later. Oh, yep, yep, let's go right, Yes.
Speaker 1 (02:48:18):
You continue.
Speaker 4 (02:48:18):
You have information on sens. Yes, what did you say?
You're always reading that book as I talked to Iris.
There's information on demons, and they shape shift, they can.
Speaker 19 (02:48:32):
Do all sorts of things. It really depends on the demon.
We learned about them a little bit. I know you
kind of we'ren't too interested in being there.
Speaker 5 (02:48:44):
But.
Speaker 19 (02:48:46):
It didn't teach us a decent bit. It's just we
don't know which ones we're facing in here.
Speaker 4 (02:48:52):
Well, you don't be surprised if they were demons and
we could be walking into a trap. Hmmm.
Speaker 3 (02:49:03):
Well, I wasn't able to do what I normally do,
so they weren't like beasts, and they weren't plants, so
they probably were demons. They kind of felt funny. I've
got I've got a sense for these things and how
they taste, well feel the are our money's on demons,
(02:49:23):
But I haven't really. I don't think i've seen another
demon before.
Speaker 1 (02:49:26):
How I I think you have, at least in that
training exercise.
Speaker 19 (02:49:37):
Oh right, all right, the lady one, yes, forget what
she was.
Speaker 3 (02:49:44):
I think I think those were demons. The way you
beat them into like shadowy powder, that's not really beasty.
But I could be wrong. I'd like to know.
Speaker 4 (02:49:55):
More, though, so I'd like to point out that one,
the talkative one, one with a tongue, I should have
cut out.
Speaker 3 (02:50:01):
A silver tongue one.
Speaker 19 (02:50:03):
Oh he interfered with our exam.
Speaker 4 (02:50:05):
That bastard, you're a something I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:50:10):
Ah. Well, I mean they all could be down there.
We should probably keep moving, right.
Speaker 19 (02:50:14):
I don't want them to get hurt.
Speaker 4 (02:50:16):
Well, that's my precise reason of saying that we need
to be careful, because you tend to want to help
everyone irish. They may be in fact, not who they
say they are. And who has a name dicker anyway,
and then I started walking in a direction.
Speaker 3 (02:50:42):
You know, he makes a fair point. There who doesn't
have a ridiculous name. He must have awful parents.
Speaker 1 (02:50:52):
As you round the corner, you can see a lot
more blood and what remains of a person uniform shredded,
red hair, seemingly chopped right off. H.
Speaker 19 (02:51:18):
Well, she's not a demon.
Speaker 4 (02:51:21):
M definitely part of one.
Speaker 3 (02:51:23):
Now, okay, do you reckon? We should? How close are
we to the body right now? Can you paint the scene?
Is the body by itself?
Speaker 25 (02:51:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:51:37):
The body is there. There's probably a little bit of
like some organs left. Maybe it's right, it's ripe, it's
been there for a while. Won't go into extreme detail, but.
Speaker 3 (02:51:51):
It's m it was fresh at least at least since.
Speaker 1 (02:51:55):
Tuesday, right, yeah, probably about a few.
Speaker 3 (02:51:59):
Ties takes at least.
Speaker 19 (02:52:02):
Where are her friends?
Speaker 3 (02:52:07):
I think Anders is right that body might be a trap.
Speaker 4 (02:52:12):
Either that or they came down here on the counsel
of the Maldi one saying that they can do something
they can't of themselves at well kill. Can I feel
any manner or anything off of this or is.
Speaker 1 (02:52:28):
This corpse cold inside insight?
Speaker 7 (02:52:33):
M h?
Speaker 1 (02:52:36):
Unless you have a spell or something that you.
Speaker 4 (02:52:38):
Use, I mean I have dream spirit.
Speaker 1 (02:52:42):
Right, I don't think that's usable against a dead crature
my credit? What would you like for your opportunity?
Speaker 4 (02:52:54):
Goodness? Grace is the list that I always put up
because I never hit these. Give me somewhere.
Speaker 1 (02:53:06):
The body is like just kind of like in a
really pathetically shallow hole. There's kind of just like a
little bit of rubble on top of it.
Speaker 4 (02:53:13):
It is opportunities, definitely, we have advantage.
Speaker 3 (02:53:20):
Uh what monster could have possibly done that?
Speaker 4 (02:53:26):
Okay, so I think information and advantage are the two things.
Let's go with information. Why not? We're here to investigate, right, yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:53:35):
Yeah, yeah. You try to sense the mana and there's
barely like anything left here, but what you do get
is that there is some kind of there is manna
(02:53:57):
further into this cave, and you feel that it is
still in some way connected to this corpse.
Speaker 4 (02:54:09):
Okay, They'll see me bend down and over, my hand
over like just trailing the body until I hit a
spot and then my eyes are closed and then I'll
lift my hand almost like a compass. I'll follow as
a man of stream. Then it flows down the side.
Speaker 3 (02:54:27):
Do you think what did this could be? Down there?
Speaker 4 (02:54:32):
Still?
Speaker 19 (02:54:32):
Gorgean We don't see her friends, so we might as
well try and see if anyone else is there to
I hope them were. We have to hear this anyway,
Can I.
Speaker 3 (02:54:46):
Cram her into my inventory, you know, to bring back
for her I don't know family.
Speaker 17 (02:54:52):
With her guts on the floor.
Speaker 3 (02:54:54):
It might take time.
Speaker 17 (02:54:57):
Perhaps we try that later or we know by the school.
Speaker 4 (02:55:02):
Okay, Yeah, we don't want to be looked at as
the ones that did this.
Speaker 3 (02:55:10):
Okay, makes sense to me. I've don't know my CSI.
You have a point. If I put my slime on it,
they might say, oh, you did it or something.
Speaker 19 (02:55:21):
That is going more for disrespecting a body that's already
been through so much. But yes, that also works.
Speaker 17 (02:55:27):
Don't touch it.
Speaker 4 (02:55:30):
No, I trail behind. I'm staring at the face. Is
our face intact?
Speaker 3 (02:55:39):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (02:55:40):
Not really?
Speaker 4 (02:55:41):
Okay? No eyes, no nothing, Okay, it's.
Speaker 1 (02:55:44):
Bits and pieces.
Speaker 3 (02:55:45):
Okay, it's not a good look.
Speaker 4 (02:55:47):
Well, that's interesting because I technically experienced death and I'm
trying to correlate between the two. But I just followed
the others.
Speaker 1 (02:55:56):
Okay. You continue to make your way further into this cavern,
and there is a strange sound that you can hear
as you make it, maybe twenty feet away from the body.
Speaker 10 (02:56:18):
M hmm, sounds a little bit like a loot.
Speaker 4 (02:56:26):
I just look at irons symbol.
Speaker 5 (02:56:33):
Hello.
Speaker 3 (02:56:35):
Oh, that goes the elements of surprise.
Speaker 4 (02:56:38):
I wouldn't have done that. I faded into the shadows.
Speaker 32 (02:56:42):
Did her.
Speaker 13 (02:56:44):
Name no?
Speaker 19 (02:56:45):
Iluma?
Speaker 17 (02:56:48):
It gave me see I get to eat.
Speaker 4 (02:56:55):
I know your animals.
Speaker 1 (02:57:09):
