Thank you, enjoy. Shotgun explodes as you see the ghoul

(01:00):
wearing the pink leather jacket and and and sort of
these goggles, these futuristic looking goggles take aim at you.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Moon.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
You're pretty focused on the emberstone in the staff of
Laser Cravenmore, and the shotgun roars and let's find out
if it hits. They're aiming at you. That is a miss.

(01:41):
Shotgun goes off and explodes.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Moon.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Does this snap you out of what you were attempting
to do here? Or do you continue forward?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I think I probably continue forward. It's pretty it's pretty heads.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Very well. Uh, Laser craven More says, what are you doing?
It's not proud of it? And uh, the entourage of
Laser craven more look like they are about ready to attack.
Do you continue?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I reach for the the I reach for the staff.
All I can see is the ember stone.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Oki Doki. I think it's time for us to go
over here.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Oh no, where are we going, coach?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
So we're gonna bring you over to this screen, and
I think it's time or some combat. Okay, let's see.

(03:04):
Is the combat head gonna work? Why is it just
off screen?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
What is happening?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well, combat Hut is not cooperating out. Nothing is working today?
Why does everything hate me?

Speaker 4 (03:23):
More?

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Aspiring?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Several guys are conspiring.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I know it's fucked up. For a second chat, there
you go? All right, there we go? Okay, uh, I
need you to please roll for initiative.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
Mm okay.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
That's a nineteen.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yeah you crushed everybody's initiative. Okay, yeah you had to
beat I think ten. Okay, yes, you get to go first.
You get to go first. What would you like to do?
Get started?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Well, I'm pretty focused on the staff still, and I'm
not sure if really anything has broken that focus, but
I just keep trying to reach for it, and so
I guess my first move is to try and knock
this out of Laser craven War's hands.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Okay, I would suggest that is probably a hinder. I
think you're trying to hinder Laser craven More here. So
let's have you attempt probably might and decks.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Okay, so let's see.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Do you want me to roll open check or just
roll check or can I target him and hinder.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You should be able to target him and try and hinder.
I think the might index.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, okay, that's an eight.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah. Unfortunately, when you go to to grab the staff,
you are halted, probably by the entourage. They kind of
jump in front of laser and you are confronted now
with the entirety of the entourage, which is what appears
to be this sort of ghoul wearing this pink leather jacket,

(05:22):
what looks like another ghoul of some sort with rotting flesh,
maybe a zombie, and this kind of hound that is
missing all of its flesh but is looking very angry nonetheless,
as well as a skeletal what must be some kind
of techno mage of some kind to the left of

(05:47):
Laser craven More. And that will be your first turn. Okay,
I think lasers says well, I don't know what else
to do here. It appears we're going to have to
resort to violence now if you don't want to coop right,

(06:11):
we'll just have to bite your fucking arms off. And
he will motion towards his hound and says, and he says,
go on, eat that fucking hand right now. And the
bone howler will try to attack you.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
No, not the bone howler.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Okay, my hands. It will try to attack you with
its serrated maw Oh, that is a miss. The bone
Howler rushes for clacking glittering. That's not a word. Good job.

(07:04):
Brad's gonna make fun of me forever for that one. Okay, yeah,
I know I did it.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
Sorry, could you repeat that?

Speaker 4 (07:14):
No?

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Uh, that is a miss.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (07:21):
And I look at the dog as it skitters past me,
and I'm just like.

Speaker 9 (07:31):
Go on ahead, the.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Ship, Okay, that is a miss. It is your turn?

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Is it my turn?

Speaker 10 (07:43):
It is?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
I I've got uh flattering.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Wow, that was clearly clattering.

Speaker 11 (07:52):
Guys.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Yeah, we're all here. I almost said adults, but I'm
just still leave that out. Uh. So I'm looking at
this stuff.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I'm like, okay, okay, fine, fine, fine, I don't want
to hurt the puppy.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
So I'm just gonna try and knock this dude out.
Who's got the cool pink jacket on?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Okay, and I think that's gonna be with my shield,
and so I take deaths Embrace and uh just kind
of try and clang him over the head.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Hey yeah, oh wait, I'm not sure if I did
that right today? Not do that right? Where's my where's
my plate? Where's my where's my boy?

Speaker 1 (08:31):
So you have your you have broken revelry, it's your sword.
Deaths Embrace is the thing that you can use to
sacrifice ten HP deal right extra damage, so you can
attack with the uh with the shield, but it doesn't
it's not gonna do very much. Hm hmm.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
You don't have your down out of my shield now
and deciding to ret condest, so I instead take my
sword and try to shift this guy.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Okay, true, all that is a hit? Nice?

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Okay. As you shrink this creature, you will deal sixteen
physical damage. Yeah, you you connect and there's you just
rip like a chunk of this creature's remaining flesh and
some of the very very impressive cyberpunk fashion away from

(09:28):
this creature. And it just kind of like looks down.

Speaker 11 (09:32):
You fucked up my jacket. That's right my way.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
Sorry, And.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I think in retaliation, it will try and shoot you
with a fucking shotgun.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
No, not a shotgun, not my innards.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Actually no, it's it's going to uh probably like lift
up the jacket where you uh, where you struck with
the sword, and you can see like there's just some
kind of horrible fluid just leaking out.

Speaker 9 (10:13):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
It's like a little yellow and green, and then this
fucking like noxious gas uh starts to emanate, and the
creature sort of like smiles at you. Oh well, I
guess you'll have to pay the price for that one
as it releases deadly gas.

Speaker 12 (10:33):
Oh and uh, let's see, hmmm, you are gonna suffer
some poison damage at the start of each round.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Okay, that is it for its turn. What you're doing?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Hold my nose and it smells really gross, and it's
also like all I can feel it.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
I can feel it like coursing through my body. But
I'm also so focused.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
And all I want is the staff, So I look
at laser like, listen, listen, we can we can avoid
a lot of catastrophe here if you just give me
the staff.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
I'm not going to give you my stuff. It's my
fucking staff. It to you.

Speaker 13 (11:25):
Well why not?

Speaker 6 (11:26):
I have a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Well that's fine, but I'm still not going to give
you my fucking stop. It's really cool. You know how
hard it wants for me to get.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
No, But I mean it is a cool staff. But
and I just look at the Umberstone, like, damn, is
this even worth it?

Speaker 3 (11:54):
What are you asking?

Speaker 5 (11:57):
I'm looking around.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
At these guys and I'm like, what are they gonna do?
They're just they're just gonna bother me more than anything.
I don't think anything is actually gonna take my arms off.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
And all I want is just a little snack, just
a snack. It's right there in front of me. I
don't want to have to decimate a.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Whole party of undeads, including their puppy.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
I can't make your choices for you, but but.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
I can smell it.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
And as I it's up to you whether you want
to create or destroy?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Create? What do you mean create?

Speaker 8 (12:36):
I'll be able to do is destroy?

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I don't think that's true.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
What and I and I stop mid everything, and these
dudes are just watching me talk to nothing.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
What do you mean what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Also fucking mind attack?

Speaker 5 (12:59):
Wait way no, wait, I'm forming a.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Plant and and I probably lose my turn because I've
just been dallying.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I think this time Laser is going to attack with
one of his attacks. Oh shit, all right, I've had
enough of this ship. And let's see. I think I

(13:41):
think Laser yells you know what, and he lifts up,
lifts up his sunglasses. Uh, and he says, I'm crazy
about the gaze. I love the gaze and he will
uh look at you. And he has a special ability
called gaze and hell, uh go ahead and unleash a

(14:04):
curse upon you, and you will suffer from.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
Do I suffer from the gaze?

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Now?

Speaker 13 (14:15):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
God is gonna be everybody? This is gonna be Uh.
I think we're gonna do week and not on him.
We're gonna do week and slow right now, weekend slow?

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Oh does this like does this like hit me as
a beam or something?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
I think I think it's just like this, uh this
rainbow like laser energy that blasts out of his eyes
and he is uh yeah, he hits it hits you
like right in the face, and you just you're like
blinded for a second. You're Tony Foster sasion surrounded, slow

(15:06):
and weak.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
I can't see anything.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Okay, that's one of his is your.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
T I kind of stumble forward blindly like, hey, that's
not fair man. Oh and I'm blinking like okay, wait
wait wait now what was that you said about creating?

Speaker 5 (15:29):
Ah? Ah, and I look down at my hands. I
just I just I just want to make something real.
And I put forth all of my energy into making
something up here.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
If I'm gonna eat umberstone, this is what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 7 (15:54):
Do I make anything?

Speaker 1 (15:57):
What are you thinking of when you do this?

Speaker 5 (15:59):
Greg?

Speaker 1 (16:03):
All right? Please make me an insight and will power
check difficulty is fourteen?

Speaker 8 (16:10):
Oh kay, oh that's a six failure.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Uh Moon, you vaguely think of Greg as you are
trying to create something. What you create is not Greg.

Speaker 14 (16:42):
It is.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Vague approximation of some kind of combination of like uh,
bark and leaves and maybe like mud and earth, and

(17:11):
it is sort of crumbling apart in your hands. Oh,
I was not there before. Please remove. I'm gonna say
two ultimate points two.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
I feel decidedly weaker than I just did two seconds ago.
Oh oh, and I'm watching all these leaves and dirt
and mud kind of dry.

Speaker 5 (17:42):
Up and cake in my hands. Oh no, oh, that
was something that was something I don't just want to destroy.
Oh no oh, And I look up. Oh I'm still

(18:07):
feeling the poison.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, I mean, it's just this cloud of noxious gas
all around m I.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Clenched my fists, and you see like crumb leaves of
leaves and dirt and everything just fall out.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
What the hell is that? Oh?

Speaker 15 (18:30):
I'm just.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
A little hungry, is all. And I'm looking at it
at the staff more than ever.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Now she must have used the bathroom. And as this
starts to sort of crumble apart in your hands, what
are you gonna say?

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (19:02):
I was just gonna start moving forward again, no matter
how many people were attacking me.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Okay, very well. As this noxious gas is spreading out
all around Moon and this crumbling earth and leaves and
bark just falls apart in Moon's hands, the entourage of

(19:33):
Laser craven More continues their attack. The skeletal mage next
to Laser is I think I think we'll speak up

(19:57):
and say.

Speaker 11 (19:59):
Musta are this creature? Does she not resemble someone?

Speaker 1 (20:07):
What the hell are you talking about?

Speaker 11 (20:12):
She looks familiar.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
I don't know what you're talking about, some sort of celebrity.

Speaker 11 (20:24):
I believe this one is the Valkyrie, the angel of death,
the one they call Moon.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
What the fuck Laser like does the double take? He
looks back and forth. You can seem like lift up
his sunglasses again, just kind of like peering at you.

Speaker 11 (20:53):
Holy shit, it is.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
We need to capture our live Oh shit, whatever you
can make your fucking legs doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
Very well.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Okay, the skeletal mage is going to let loose. You
see them lift up their staff and batter it onto
the tiled floor of the office, and will attempt to
cast umbra on you. Oh, this is versus your magical defense,

(21:42):
which is not enough. It appears, uh, this dark energy
begins to swirl around the staff of this skeletal mage
and flies towards you, uh, and will deal well, apparently
negative damage. It should be twenty four dark damage which

(22:06):
you are not resistant to.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
But nothing happens.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
It did, it did go off. I just the fucking okay, Okay,
the actual mechanical thing didn't work. Okay, but yeah, that
is twenty four dark damage towards you Moon, which I
imagine is probably like tendrils of shadow that like leap
off from the ground a little bit like Shikamaru's attack
from Naruto, and they just kind of like spear you

(22:39):
like with shadow. Okay, next up, I think is going
to be Laser again, and this time, let's see you're
weakened and slowed. We got some good ship we can do.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Now.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
How does it feel to be stabbed with a shadow?

Speaker 1 (23:09):
I'll let you figure that out.

Speaker 16 (23:12):
Hmmm.

Speaker 8 (23:14):
It's like there's no piercing pain, but there's an immediate.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
It's like having a headache, but in your appendage you're
like oh ah, ow ow ow ow, but there's no wound.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yeah. I think Laser uh will raise up his staff
and you see the emberstones sort of begin to glow,
and the ruins certain runs begin to like light up
with that reddish current kind of glow, and you can
see the you can see like the air begin to
sort of condense around you, and Laser will cast iceberg

(23:58):
at you. Oh and that's a hit. Okay, This ignores
resistances and will cause twenty nine ice damage towards you.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Moon Ah, I can feel it, like it starts like
spreading over my arm or like, oh, I'm trying to
like brush it off as it's frost egg over.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
Okay, and then I think we're gonna have the zombie
you go next. The zombie will attempt Yeah, I think
it just kind of like rushes forward once it hears

(24:51):
that it can actually attack you. It just sort of
lumb forward and uh will attempt to uh basically just
claw at you and will attempt to rake at you.

(25:12):
Call me rake. That is also a hit.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Oh, okay, this is for seventeen physical damage this time
Moon and then we've got one more attack from laser
craven more okay in this time? Oh, shall we do this?

Speaker 5 (25:43):
Shall we? I'm like already like pushing the zombie off
and me like.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
Do we have to?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah, oh this is good. This time he raises up
his uh sunglasses again and uh, he goes, well, if
she's a god damn save you, I think she could
probably handle I'm just thinking right, And his eyes glow
purple this time, and and they're not really eyes, they're

(26:14):
just kind of like energy like in his in his
eye sockets that glow different colors. And this time they
glow this purple energy as he will try to disintegrate. Oh,
and this is just a straight up attack. Huh mmmm.

(26:41):
So this is obviously not going to disintegrate you, but
this is gonna make you vulnerable to dark.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Round.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
Okay, so we can sell that.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
I shiver a bit like and the wound that I
just got stabbed with feels a little stronger. Mmmmmm their
other shadow that I just got stabbed with.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Rather you around your turn, I am going.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
To take this seriously, and I'm going to prepare the
calamity and I will begin channeling energy. Okay, I will
take this as seriously as you want to.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
Then I start channeling.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Why is you glowing like that? Shit's just glawing? Attack?
Quickly get in front of me, shield me from danger,
and let's see you channel for your first turn. I
think we're gonna have the I think we're gonna have

(28:05):
the zombie. Actually we can do mm hmm, yeah, we'll

(28:30):
have the zombie attack first. This is gonna be a
rake attack. That is a miss. As you're channeling this energy, Moon,
the energy just kind of buffets against this zombie and
like we see it like trying to like reach out

(28:52):
and clatch you with like bony protrusions from its hands
and it's just getting pushed back, like in the snow
we are in the the office. We see we see
the tiles like getting raked as it's sliding back against
the force of your of your channeling. Okay, back to you.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
At this moment, I unleash the calamity on all targets.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
And let me make sure I'm doing that correctly.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
I think I've got everybody.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
I would specifically like to avoid the dog, but I
don't know if.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
I can do that.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
So this is all targets.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
I'm so sorry to the dog.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Yeah right, So roll me a D three. Let's see
what kind of damage you do for this, because there's
three options. That's a one, okay, so that's the minimum damage.
And I think you, I don't know how you want
to frame this, but you you begin to unleash this

(30:03):
massive attack, but for whatever reason, it's not fully charged up.
You will still do fifteen untyped damage to all of
these enemies, which is the minimum that you can do.
How does that look like? What is happening here?

Speaker 4 (30:25):
I'd say there's a bit of a crackle of energy
rather than a straight beam. So you see like these
electric pendrils kind of come out of my hands and
they might get a bit shaken, you know, because it
is electricity, but it's not an overwhelming, like powerful blast,
but there is magic at play.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Okay, this last of magical energy lets loose, and it
wasn't quite as spectacular as you were expecting. Then this
is the first time you've cast this.

Speaker 8 (31:07):
Hmm okay, maybe I just need a charge a little
longer next time.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Somehow, not the right attack I was looking for. But
this magical energy blasts outwards from you, and you can
see they do get hit by it. They do appear
to have some sort of reaction to this, but it
is not nearly as big of an attack as you're expecting.

Speaker 15 (31:35):
Here.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
Oh well, I was underwhelming. I look at my hands.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
The safe Yeah, are you sure what kind of bullshite
attack was there? I think you're worrying for nothing.

Speaker 8 (31:47):
Friends, Listen, it's just performance anxiety.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
Okay, I haven't really tried that one before.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Seuw that's what they all say. Okay, let's see. Next
up we're gonna have I think, well, the Skeleton mage
is gonna go again, and we'll cast Umbra once more,

(32:15):
this time versus your vulnerability to dark Right, that is
a crit as well. Oh okay, let's see what can
I do here. I'm very tempted to do bonus damage

(32:35):
because it's we specifically went out of our way to
do vulnerability. Oh boy, I'm going to say, yeah, we're

(33:08):
gonna do bonus damage. We're gonna do double damage, which
is extra devastating. You know what, No, what I'll do
because normally vulnerability is already double damage. I'll do the
twenty one again. So instead of twenty one you normally
you would get, you get forty two because you're vulnerable,

(33:30):
but then another twenty one on top of that, so
it'll be sixty three.

Speaker 8 (33:35):
Okay, so that's a that's a sixty three damage hit.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Yep. The shadows all continue to like wrap around you
and just you feel like these lances like penetrate through
your armor and just like stab into you and you
feel this like cold, like oh my, like pain, but

(34:01):
like through your bones as the shadow attacks you. The
umbra damage has done some pretty nasty stuff to you. Okay,
it is your turn. Moon.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
How when I kind of elbowed the zombie off me
because the zombie just is mindless, you wait for me,
and I looked directly at laser.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
Okay, okay, okay, that hurt.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
Man.

Speaker 8 (34:43):
Just give me the stuff, Just give me the stuff.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
What do you take me for? I guess some sort
of common thief. I thought you said this one was
the same here.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Oh man, and for a pennyon for a pound?

Speaker 4 (35:00):
A heear?

Speaker 1 (35:00):
What are you even doing here?

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Listen? I just got distracted by your amberstone? Okay do
you yes? It's in your staff, you idiot?

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Why do you want my amberstone?

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Yes, it's it's delicious.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
What yeah?

Speaker 5 (35:28):
Look look can I just trade you for it or something?

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Uh? Insight and willpower check difficulty.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
Sixteen incited willpower?

Speaker 8 (35:42):
Yeah, oh god, that's a form.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
And I think that's the reaction. They're just all laughing,
like they're just laughing, like, what the fuck is she
talking about? It is insane? Why are you sure you
didn't guess some sort of insanity? Imagine going that?

Speaker 5 (36:03):
And I am so frustrated.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
Can I just can I release a powerful blast on
him right now?

Speaker 1 (36:08):
No, I'm going to say that that was your action. No, yeah,
I think that was your action. Okay, Uh, let's see.
I think laser is going to attack you.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Now, humiliate and give me.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Your lunch money nerd. Yeah, except like the whole crew
is with the nerd that you're attacking, Like it's just
like what the fuck are you doing? Yeah? And uh
I think we're gonna have Oh this could be fun.

(36:51):
Uh all right, I'm checking see if this is set
up correctly.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
I'm just looking at this dog next to me too, like, sorry, buddy,
sorry pal.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
Oh I has like no reaction to you. It's just
like it's it looks like it's just ready to fucking
rip your face off. Okay, I'm gonna try this. I
don't think this is gonna work, but we're gonna give
it a shot anyway. This is one of those cobbled
together abilities. Okay, you can see that Laser says, maybe

(37:35):
we just need to remove some of your blood just
to make you a little bit more malleable and perhaps
slightly more intelligent. And you can see that, like Laser's
mouth opens and he's like he has fangs that just
kind of extend, and his time just suck and he

(37:56):
will cast vampiric exanguination, which does a ten beat your
magic defense.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Oh no, my magic defense is a ten, so yes.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Makes it breaks in. Uh okay, So unfortunately you through
some of your wounds. You see blood like travel from
your wounds through the air towards laser. And this is
gonna hurt because you are still vulnerable to dark damage.

(38:33):
This is gonna be forty dark damage.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
I weakly like grab at the air for my blood, like, no, no,
that's mine, that's mine anymore.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
You are delicious as a laser. Uh says that's the ticket.
We just need to drain her blood.

Speaker 7 (38:58):
Why can't you do anything?

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Okay, it is your turn.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
I I feel like I feel like a bit hopeless
because on the one hand, I have this this need
that is just propelling me forward to this emberstone. On
the other hand, it's looking pretty nasty.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
So you've been trying and do the thing that you
said last time.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
But what did I say last time?

Speaker 1 (39:34):
I said you were going to try and do a
powerful glass.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
I want to. I want to and I and my
idea is.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
To target the staff so that it just is destroyed
and it just becomes the emberstone around it.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Is that possible?

Speaker 1 (39:52):
So I will require an extra role for that to
basically make that the target, because normally you just get
to select any target you want. With this, I'm gonna
say if you want to specifically target the staff. I'm
gonna need probably an insight and will power roll, and

(40:12):
I'm gonna say you're gonna have to be to thirteen.
Thirteen is your difficulty for this?

Speaker 5 (40:19):
Come on? Oh that's a fumble. That's two.

Speaker 11 (40:24):
Shit critical fumble.

Speaker 8 (40:28):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
So you targeted specifically the staff. Now this does normally
if you have one target for this ability, it does
a hundred damage. So I think what's gonna happen here
is Oh God, I gotta see what we're gonna do.

(40:56):
First off, yah, h.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
I'm debating on what to do because normally what happens
when a player has a fumble they gain a fabula point.
But you don't have fabula points and it won't make
sense for you to get an ultimate point here.

Speaker 4 (41:23):
So I mean new rule just because I'm not even
gonna I'm not evenna ask. I'm just gonna sit there.

Speaker 5 (41:39):
Kind of villain give me things.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
I am gonna say, I'm gonna give you a choice.
Well I might, I'm gonna give you a choice. I'm
going to give you a choice. You can take the

(42:03):
full damage yourself, or Jesus one of your pieces of
year can break.

Speaker 4 (42:10):
Oh hell no, I'll take the I'll take the damage.
I will take the damage, okay, and I.

Speaker 5 (42:18):
Have I have this prepared, right, I'm like, you know,
And then I look down and I.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
See that my wound is like seeping still because it's
been I've been stabbed several times.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
And I blast myself.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
Yeah, this is the first like pretty big challenge you've
had in a while. Those creatures that were swarming you,
those bombard ants that were down in that cave, they
were a threat, but like, these are genuinely pretty powerful enemies.
This isn't like getting attacked by a hive of creatures.

(42:58):
These are I'm elite creatures that are attacking here right now.
And maybe you just lose your focus here when you
try to unleash this powerful blast.

Speaker 4 (43:09):
There's just a backlash and my legs are like smoking.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
That I follow the ground.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
And it's actually more painful. Uh, it's it's more embarrassing
as it is painful. How much damage is that.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
I already did it? It was one hundred.

Speaker 4 (43:36):
Oh yeah, and I'm clutching at my ankles.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
That just so you're aware, like most of the party
members don't have one hundred HP in the rest of
the group.

Speaker 7 (43:55):
Some of us have fifty two whack.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Actually, yeah, so that was a tremendous amount of damage.
So there's just this, I mean this massive like energy
backlash that we see Moon get riddled by, like the
energy scorches the office around you, Moon and like, uh,

(44:18):
every all the entourage and Laser kind of like back
away for a second, like, oh shit, that was a mistake.

Speaker 4 (44:30):
Questions Oh I just man, I just wanted your staff, due,
I just want the amber Stone. Man.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
We can't have everything we want, can we?

Speaker 4 (44:45):
And I'm lying there in the in the snow, like
please please do just like my legs are smoking.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
So you're in you're in that office still right now,
and uh, I imagine that you've destroyed much of the
area around you, like some of the some like the
waiting room airs that were beyond the door probably got
uh smashed up. Part of the wall got destroyed.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
Okay. I'm laying on the floor and there's like it's
probably like a nicer, nicer looking floor, and there's just
like a little tiny crater around me that's smoking.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
Like oh yeah, and I think, uh, I think Laser
is going to use his turn to do a special ability.

(45:40):
It will use the and I'm not shitting you, this
is in the game. You will use the monologue ability.
Oh my god, it exists. It is a thing. Let's

(46:01):
see villain stuff. Yep, monologue. He will try to break
your will uh, and this will require an opposed willpower
and willpower check. Uh there is for him. This isn't

(46:24):
the start of the conflict, but I think, uh, this
warrants a monologue to be able to just click that
willpower willpower button. It didn't roll for me. Oh no,
it rolled in the actual monologue. Okay, are you able
to push that button?

Speaker 6 (46:43):
Do you see it?

Speaker 1 (46:44):
Let's see, it's in the chat app.

Speaker 5 (46:47):
Yeah it doesn't. It's not. Let me do it.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
Okay, So just willpower, willpower, open check, open check. I
gotta beat a six right now.

Speaker 5 (46:56):
Fourteen? Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (46:58):
So he says, now, look here, Savior, I think we
can all agree that you're pretty shit. I mean, you
have a pretty interesting look about you, and I have
to admit there is definitely some sixth ule tension between
the two of us. But what I think that this

(47:20):
is in fact very fool hardy. You're not going to
take a lichyt staff get such things aren't done?

Speaker 1 (47:29):
Are you mad?

Speaker 4 (47:31):
I'm looking at him like he's the mad one.

Speaker 5 (47:35):
Yes, that's what I've been trying to do this whole time.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
Well, you're not going to succeed. The fuck you hey,
and now it's your turn.

Speaker 4 (47:48):
And I start like I stand up like New York styre,
like fuck you too, mad, and I am like fully
fully upright. Ah, And this is this is where I've
had it. I've had it. I've had it was getting
stabbed and shooting myself in the foot.

Speaker 5 (48:03):
I'm hungry, I've got a little bit of a headache.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
So you don't have any turns left this round.

Speaker 5 (48:08):
I don't have any turns left this round.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
So all I'm doing is stamp in my feet, yelling
at the sky fists of the heavens stabb.

Speaker 1 (48:15):
You okay, and thank you bo for that. We'll just
delete that real quick. And then I think Laser is
gonna use his last turn here, and he will do

(48:44):
this is the last turn of the round. He's gonna
take advantage of the I know he won't do that again.
He's gonna do another I think probably another iceberg. We're
gonna see the the air sort of condense around you again, Moon,

(49:08):
as ice will begin to form as he casts iceberg.
That does they miss this time? Maybe you see the
ice forming. You've already seen it happen again, Moon, and
you just swing your shield around and kind of break
up the spell and rush forward.

Speaker 4 (49:30):
I've got like chinching, ting, ting ting, little ice chunks
ricocheting off the shield.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Okay, and the bone Howler, the the dog will rush
forward and try to attack you. Oh no, not the puppy,
and it will take a deep breath, which it shouldn't
be able to do, but you you can hear it

(50:00):
like and you see this horrible like purple gas continue
to expel from this creature. Oh and I forgot the
the deadly gas is gonna go off, and I need
to roll for that. So you take ten poison damage,

(50:26):
which I don't think you are vulnerable to. You are not.
This is just ten poison damage from that. And then
this rotten, this rotten breath attack from this bonehound. Maybe
you're already trying to hold your breath from the other attack,
but you managed to wave away this horrible stench emanating

(50:50):
from the bone Howler. I'm not cap by that, however,
there's a fucking shotgun named at you, and I think
we're gonna do special ability guns of Kimbo. It will

(51:17):
unleash a halo of bullets on you and performs two
free attacks on the same target with its weapons. He's
gonna do two shotgun blasts towards you. Okay, one is
a miss and the second one. Both barrels of the

(51:42):
shotgun miss you. Maybe you're able to just bring up
your shield here Moon, and you block both shotgun blasts.
You're round. You're no longer vulnerable to shadow. Let's turn
that off and it is your turn.

Speaker 4 (52:05):
I'm standing there looking at my ankles, which are still
still singed and slightly smoking from my last attempt, and
I look up.

Speaker 5 (52:18):
And then I hear and I realize that all I've had.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
Is some bone sauce and some bone shrimp and mushrooms
for god knows how long, and I am so hungry,
and I realize.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
I don't think I'm gonna get the Amber Star from
this guy. I need to go find Number I.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
Need to go find Numberstone right now, and I'm gonna
do whatever it takes to escape this fight.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
Absolutely you can do that. So you have a few options.
First and foremost, you have an ability be known as
escape that will require you to spend an ultimate point
to do it. But this is kind of like an

(53:12):
automatic thing that you get to do as a villain.
As a villain when you're reduced to zero HP, if
you have an ultimate point, you can escape a fight. Now,
not in that situation. So instead, what you can do
is you can we can create a clock for this,

(53:34):
and there's essentially an escape clock where you are trying
to specifically just run the fuck away from these guys. Now,
would you like to do that?

Speaker 4 (53:44):
I'd like to try and hover away just so I
can maybe make a cleaner break, but I don't know
if that's possible. I'm just really fed up with them.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Okay, I would still count that it's just running away.
Would you like to try to use your ultimate point
to do this or would you like to try this
the hard way?

Speaker 4 (54:14):
I've tried everything else the hard way, and I've tried
reasoning with these guys.

Speaker 5 (54:18):
Hell, I've tried channeling and that didn't even work out.
I want to do this the easy way.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
Dam What do you think about when you're trying to escape?

Speaker 5 (54:35):
Mimosas? That's all.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Do me a favor and do insight and insight open
check please.

Speaker 5 (55:00):
Hm, that's a seven.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
You spend an ultimate point and we see Moon begin
to hover inside the office. Here there is a moment

(55:31):
where they Entourage and Laser Craven Moore are looking a
bit confused m m as Moon begins to uh take

(55:52):
on that familiar glow when she was channeling. You spend
an ultimate point and you feel yourself desire the Emberstone
more and more. Think about mimosas and when you do this.

Speaker 3 (56:18):
Mean you.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
Are encompassed in this ball of energy, and Laser sort
of says in the background, just put up some kind
of magical shield. You need to break through it. And
with a sort of electrical charge, you burst forth towards

(56:45):
the nearest wall and you just smash a spherical hole
right through the side of the building. And the Entourage
is kind of like cross to the ground. As this happens,

(57:09):
debris and everything gets launched in every direction. You are
sent out into the cold of of Cryptia once again,
but you are flying quickly. You are encompassed by this
spherical ball of energy and you are launched towards the street.

(57:36):
We see you barreling forth through the streets. Cars or
their equivalents are kind of like launched into the air.
You're batting them aside as you are flying through the streets,

(57:57):
and when you do, there is this horrific like wake
that we see from Moon. Shit's just getting launched snow
and the citizens of Cryptia getting launched into the air,
vehicles getting launched into the air. We see you like

(58:20):
just barrel through a building that's just like in the
fucking way, like you're just sing a line. And then
you come to the stop suddenly outside what appears to
be some kind of.

Speaker 3 (58:41):
Bar.

Speaker 1 (58:44):
It just has a sort of raggedy looking pub. Look
outside and behind Moon we just see the street like
all torn up. There are vehicles that are just kind
of like stuck in buildings and chaos behind there's some

(59:07):
like fires and shit and the wake that Moon left behind.
And you were stopped in front of this bar and
the sign says mimosas.

Speaker 5 (59:30):
Ha ha I walk in and I don't look behind me.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Yeah, there's like this chaotic energy that is just kind
of like moving throughout the streets in what mo wake
has left behind. And inside Craven More we see laser

(01:00:22):
Craven More and his entourage kind of reacting to.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
The whole situation.

Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
What the fuck just happened? Is there some sort of
teleportation magic? And uh, he's just kind of like shaking
the skeletal mage. I've never cast a spell like that.
What kind of fucking spell is that?

Speaker 11 (01:00:43):
I do not know, Master, I am unsure she is
the Savior the I know, I know all the fucking words.

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
I know words. Shut up. Look, we need to find her.
She's gonna cause mess, chaos throughout Cryptia. We can't let
the others find her first. If they do, maybe they
can take advantage of her.

Speaker 13 (01:01:06):
Listen, if aja, oh, if any of these damned litch
bitches get a hold of her, it's possible that they could,
I don't know, take advantage, use her blood for some
sort of ritual.

Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
I don't know. But we need to make sure this
shit doesn't happen again. And what was that bit about
the Ember Stone? I do not know, Master, Well, we
need to find out, reach out a cross, find out
what he knows. We switch scenes, find ourselves in the

(01:01:53):
city of Cinder Shroud, where our group of four are
currently plotting what to do next.

Speaker 10 (01:02:25):
So you were thinking of traveling. Yes, in order to
try and accelerate our leveling process.

Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
Mm hmmm, yes. The idea is. The idea is to
have it to where there's information spread out. Wars were
happening all around. We've only been in really one location
here Ellendre. They have lots of resources, muscil power.

Speaker 7 (01:02:58):
They are connected deeply to this spirits.

Speaker 10 (01:03:00):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
Genosa may have documents, books, into writings on the creation
of this world. Can use our advantage, but do we
have to have everyone on board and know that we
have the field safes. Unfortunately, one of those feel saves
has to be the destruction of this villain, whether it

(01:03:31):
includes Moon or not. There may be a way to
save her. As I mentioned before, it's delicate.

Speaker 10 (01:03:40):
Maybe maybe if we get to cross first, we'll be
able to figure something else out.

Speaker 9 (01:03:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:03:50):
At any rate. There was also do you remember.

Speaker 10 (01:03:55):
Darrevak in the facility? I think Anders was knocked out
for it.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 10 (01:04:02):
The hero that we faced he mentioned in a Zuka
and I mean, I'm inclined to try and see if
we could at least find them as well. Perhaps maybe
they might have some sort of insight. The name rings
a bell.

Speaker 9 (01:04:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:04:19):
I mean how long ago though, because you know, wouldn't
that be like how long was Moon here for?

Speaker 7 (01:04:30):
Ten years?

Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
Ten years?

Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:04:35):
And maybe it Beat's going to Ellen Drath anyway, Well.

Speaker 9 (01:04:42):
Finding more people to help us will only be our benefit.

Speaker 10 (01:04:48):
Right, exactly my thinking, especially if we have to go
against Moon. I have a way that the professor and
I were working on trying to manipulate what's called the
soul stream or.

Speaker 7 (01:05:05):
The sole network.

Speaker 10 (01:05:06):
We weren't really sure the texts were. We're a bit scrambled,
but I think with practice, I might be able to
manipulate it, maybe to track down people, even including Zuka
and Moon perhaps.

Speaker 7 (01:05:29):
If that's something we want to do.

Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
I think this is a great idea. Like my concern
is that if we've bump Intocross too early, if Moon
couldn't stop him, what chances do we have?

Speaker 6 (01:05:53):
Good question? And I think we've kind of realized that
Moon's not the early level fifty a round because you know,
the head master guy thing is the thing, right, spooky
scary big magics who yes, exactly, the.

Speaker 7 (01:06:15):
Head the archimagius, this short fellow.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
Yes, well, I don't think we should run into either
until we're prepared. Going after the moon is folly in
my opinion, right, so not right now anyway.

Speaker 10 (01:06:38):
So then let's take advantage of the services that the
Queen is offering us. We'll go ahead and we will
utilize this teleportation to get us perhaps closer to Alan Drath.
If that's something that they're willing to do for us, right.

Speaker 6 (01:06:56):
Is it? One way?

Speaker 14 (01:07:00):
Do we want to take the airship?

Speaker 7 (01:07:04):
That's that's I mean, we have greg with us.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Let's let's think this. There are laws apparently air trafficking
stuff as well. Yeah, we're not really versed on the
laws of that land unless you know something that we don't. Also,
will require the Empress contacting their leader, and last time

(01:07:32):
I checked, relationships have been rocky abyss.

Speaker 6 (01:07:37):
Or right, So teleport.

Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
Doesn't close the option, I said, the Empress contacting her.
We have a part of allen Draft here with us. Now,
maybe you can speak to her.

Speaker 9 (01:07:54):
We technically don't have to travel under the guise of
an emissary of the Empress, right, we could just be
independent travelers.

Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
This is true, But I'm speaking more on the tele
rotation side.

Speaker 10 (01:08:08):
Of things, right, But the airship is actually a great idea.
I honestly think it might be better specifically because well,
it allows us to travel wherever we want if we
need to make pit stops along the way, if we
need to go to other locations, we have the maneuverability.

(01:08:30):
So I think that was a great idea, rue, especially
if Greg, if you are willing to control the airship
for us.

Speaker 7 (01:08:40):
To just anything that you need and will help you.

Speaker 6 (01:08:45):
Yeah, no worries, it says AOK.

Speaker 7 (01:08:51):
Perfect.

Speaker 10 (01:08:53):
So perhaps we seek out travels through the Empress to.

Speaker 7 (01:08:58):
Where we left it, which was where did we leave
it was a cinder shroud or we're in sinnershroud?

Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Right, Yeah, you left in? You left it in. I
can't remember all of the names called gold Mire.

Speaker 10 (01:09:12):
Yes, So perhaps we traveled as Skaldmere, right, And then
we go with the idea that unders has to go
to ellen Draft, especially since it's on the way to Nosisia.

Speaker 7 (01:09:27):
That's perfect.

Speaker 10 (01:09:28):
And whenever we find ourselves in a comfortable spot, we
can perhaps see about if I can track a Zuoka
at least, or at least try to learn about the
sole network a bit more.

Speaker 6 (01:09:43):
What are they eating Ellen Draft?

Speaker 5 (01:09:46):
Plants?

Speaker 7 (01:09:47):
Lots of plants. They love vegetables. They were very good.

Speaker 18 (01:09:56):
I love vegetables.

Speaker 6 (01:09:57):
Why why? Mm hm, why what? Why do you love vegetables?

Speaker 7 (01:10:06):
Oh, they're so versatile.

Speaker 10 (01:10:08):
You can you can cook them, you can eat them raw,
you can you can flavor them an assortment of ways.
They're good for your body.

Speaker 6 (01:10:21):
Are you sure that's d else we can go.

Speaker 7 (01:10:25):
They probably have other foods as well.

Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
Well. Now what we plan on doing, we need to
get information on the area. There rules of regulations and restrictions.
Don't want to come in with an entrance without knowing
what we're getting ourselves into. There's been a war and
we don't know if word got out about Moon as well,
and if we're considered partners of hers, then well I'll

(01:10:50):
let you put those things together.

Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
I mean, I think most of the South continent noasis.
You know the friends of the Savior now, but all
the leaders met up us in that pool.

Speaker 10 (01:11:02):
Well, yes, and we also do have the advantage of
despite our association, we are technically what they would refer
to as heroes of each region.

Speaker 7 (01:11:15):
We have, well not each one, but we have one.

Speaker 10 (01:11:17):
From Brahm, we have one from Ellen Drass, and we
have one from Kat. Those are all great stops on
the map.

Speaker 7 (01:11:24):
I think.

Speaker 9 (01:11:29):
Greg have you ever been to Ellen Dras Have you?

Speaker 10 (01:11:45):
He definitely has to, judging by how long he's speaking.

Speaker 6 (01:11:51):
He says no, but his cousin went once, that's not
what I said.

Speaker 11 (01:11:55):
Stop telling them the wrong things.

Speaker 6 (01:11:58):
I'm sorry, I couldn't help it.

Speaker 10 (01:12:00):
Is this true, Greg, Only your cousin has gone.

Speaker 6 (01:12:09):
What did he say?

Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
D M?

Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
He said, no, bo is a liar?

Speaker 6 (01:12:15):
Well he said that what he said before all that?
What was the whole long spiel?

Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
The long spiel was uh yeah, Ben to Alan Drad
a lot. That's actually where I first met Moon and
we had a lot of adventures there.

Speaker 6 (01:12:36):
He said. That was his old stomping grounds that used
to liken be there a lot.

Speaker 9 (01:12:45):
Great, Greg could be our tour guide.

Speaker 7 (01:12:49):
That's perfect okay.

Speaker 9 (01:12:53):
In fact, where's that map? And I begin to ruffle
around in my pockets. I opened my inventory. Does anyone
have a app on them?

Speaker 10 (01:13:03):
I could swear we had one.

Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
Of you has the map. I don't know which one.

Speaker 9 (01:13:07):
Well, Greg has a map. He specifically bought one from
the right.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
Well, this one would have just been like that one
I think was mill Offax. But you had.

Speaker 7 (01:13:24):
We had when we were marking.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
You had one that you were marking that was I
think that one was the Skaldmere map. We can say
that Greg got you like a general kind of like
world map. It would have been like this. It wouldn't
have had crazy amounts of details or anything.

Speaker 9 (01:13:38):
But I'll ask Greg to circle the locations that he's
been before, especially highlighting the places that we are thinking
of going.

Speaker 1 (01:13:51):
Okay, let's bring this up for our audience. Okay, so
places that Greg has been to before is what you
want to suggest. Okay, I will circle those in green.
May go about your business, though, And.

Speaker 10 (01:14:11):
Now that we're out of the ear of everyone in
the palace.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
You'd be outside the palace somewhere. Where do you think
you would have went? Did you just like find some
benches to go sit down and talk or are you
walking and talking? Did you find someplace to eat or
what we.

Speaker 5 (01:14:26):
Said we were going to get drinks?

Speaker 10 (01:14:28):
I think so probably at some like I think we
would want somewhere not over stimulating, so as quiet a
restaurant as possible.

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
Uh, I mean nighttime and cinder shroud. Probably tough to
find someplace like that. Yeah, give me an insight, and
insight you can do a group check if you want.
Difficulty you could even.

Speaker 9 (01:14:52):
Just get a room and then get drinks and food
taken to our room.

Speaker 5 (01:14:55):
Let's do that instead.

Speaker 7 (01:14:56):
Yeah, I think that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Yeah, because like it's like trying to find a quiet
place in New York, right, you know, yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:15:03):
Yeah, yeah, it's tough, especially because I imagine we would
want our conversation to be privately.

Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
Makes sense, course, yeah, give me insight and insight you
can do a group check, uh and this will be uh,
this will be difficulty. We'll just say ten. The better
score you get, though, will determine something else.

Speaker 6 (01:15:37):
Oh oh, I help, it's telling.

Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
Surprised every time it happens.

Speaker 9 (01:15:45):
Okay, eleven success excellent.

Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Okay, yeah, you're able to find uh some kind of
a it would just be like a hotel. They have
like hotels that are here. I mean there's hotels like
along the waterfront. Are you looking for someplace nice or
are you looking for someplace cheap?

Speaker 10 (01:16:11):
Probably a median I would say, not somewhere that's like disgusting,
but somewhere that's just comfortable.

Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
Yeah. Okay, yeah, this isn't like a medieval village, like
this is a this is an imperial imperial capital, and
this is like it's got a bunch of different technologies
and stuff here. It's not like being out in the
middle of nowhere. So there's like like proper like hotels
and it's all you know. It all has that like

(01:16:40):
really beautiful kind of cinder shroud architecture with lots of
like towers and domes and stuff. And there's there's definitely
dragons like flying up through the sky, like you can
see like dragons. You probably hear them and shit periodically,
And uh, I would say that, yeah, you're able to

(01:17:02):
find something like that. We say that you grab a
room and maybe you order some some drinks and stuff.
Do you get one room? Do you get like multiple rooms?
What are you doing? Pricing is going.

Speaker 14 (01:17:18):
To be like.

Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
Probably fifties in it per room.

Speaker 6 (01:17:28):
I'm gonna trying to go in as a familiar. Can
they speak clung onto the back of IRUs They've never
seen a slime before unless there's a slime fee.

Speaker 10 (01:17:40):
Are they able to put like enough like are there
any rooms that are big enough to situate all of us?

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
Yeah, it's probably not like a situation that we would have.
They probably don't charge like by the person. It's probably
like they're just going to give you a room and
like if you want to grab a bunch of people
in there, that's up to you.

Speaker 5 (01:17:59):
Well, we'll do one.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Okay, so fifties in it from whoever, and we'll say
that like ordering some food and stuff is probably like
does everybody get food and drink?

Speaker 9 (01:18:16):
I had zero's in it, yes, but I have five
twenty five okay.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
So you you probably I would say it probably costs
maybe twenties in it to give everybody food and drink
something like that.

Speaker 10 (01:18:38):
Okay, I'll cover the food if someone else is able
to cover the room.

Speaker 9 (01:18:46):
I'll try to negotiate with the owner and offer entertainment
as a way of paying for a room.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
Sure, okay, yeah you can do an insight and willpowerficulty
is going to be fourteen. Yeah, there's like a you
see Ru trying frantically to uh seduce the the like

(01:19:20):
front desk of this hotel, trying to get them to
like trying to get them to haggle and lower the price,
and they're just not having it. Yeah. Basically like it's
Rue tries for a few minutes and it just doesn't
look like it's going well.

Speaker 9 (01:19:41):
I think we're just gonna have to pay for it regularly.

Speaker 3 (01:19:44):
Sorry, well, I was safe anything, so I'll have to
do it. No one else has anything, all right, mm hmm, thank.

Speaker 10 (01:19:55):
You, unders, I know how much this pains you.

Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
I will not have any's in it. It's really really mad.

Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
I just gave each of them except for a thousand expensive.

Speaker 10 (01:20:15):
You also have five hundred of bows money technically, so.

Speaker 1 (01:20:20):
I don't have it.

Speaker 6 (01:20:22):
Indeed, no, I said Anders.

Speaker 5 (01:20:25):
Does he split it between the two of us?

Speaker 18 (01:20:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:20:29):
But anyway, after we paid for everything and flashing back
to where we were now in the room, right, I'll
turn to you Roote, and I'll say, now that we're
out of prying eyes and ears, are you okay?

Speaker 7 (01:20:45):
Your message was concerning uh?

Speaker 9 (01:20:52):
The Empress said some things that were very uncomfortable. I
think something significant happened to Moon, something that maybe we
don't completely understand, and something that we might not understand
for a long time until we see her. The Empress

(01:21:17):
has in her mind that we're going to destroy Moon.
I don't know if I can do that.

Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
Hm.

Speaker 10 (01:21:31):
Well, I mean we're going to do everything in our
power to not that's the last, absolute, last option.

Speaker 9 (01:21:46):
She's really strong, the Empress, and I'm just kind of
idly rubbing my neck.

Speaker 3 (01:21:55):
M m.

Speaker 9 (01:21:57):
She's really strong.

Speaker 6 (01:22:00):
Yeah, do you have a small throw?

Speaker 9 (01:22:05):
Yeah, it's something like that.

Speaker 7 (01:22:10):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:22:12):
M hmm.

Speaker 9 (01:22:12):
It seems that the three of you have been through
a lot too.

Speaker 6 (01:22:20):
You could say that, right.

Speaker 9 (01:22:24):
My eyes settle on.

Speaker 3 (01:22:26):
Enders m hm, just blankly staring at a wall.

Speaker 6 (01:22:37):
He does that a lot.

Speaker 9 (01:22:42):
I've noticed.

Speaker 6 (01:22:45):
He'll wake up if you say book or tone or
what's the other one. He likes to get to say
all the time about that knowledge. Oh yeah, yes, exactly, grimoire, grimoire, grimoire.
There see for false alarm. Ha ha.

Speaker 7 (01:23:13):
A right, it was. It was a very overwhelming situation.
We did our best.

Speaker 9 (01:23:27):
I'm just glad that we're all back together, well, yes,
most of us.

Speaker 10 (01:23:32):
Anyway, I'll reach over and I'll squeeze your hand.

Speaker 9 (01:23:39):
I squeeze it back.

Speaker 10 (01:23:42):
I was very worried about you, We all were.

Speaker 8 (01:23:48):
Yeah, you know, I.

Speaker 9 (01:23:53):
Think it's pretty much anyone's dream to be whisked off
and carried away. But I didn't image that i'd be
flying through the sky like that, And it was a
lot more terrifying than I thought it would be.

Speaker 7 (01:24:09):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (01:24:11):
I thought at some point that she might drop me
in the volcano by accident. But it doesn't matter. Greg
and I had some quality time together.

Speaker 10 (01:24:27):
Yes, you two appear as two peas in a pod.
Now you're at each other's throats. The last time I
saw you both together.

Speaker 9 (01:24:38):
And they reach over and I pat Greg on the head.

Speaker 11 (01:24:44):
She grew on me.

Speaker 3 (01:24:46):
Get it?

Speaker 6 (01:24:49):
Huh? She hasn't. She's the same high as she was before.

Speaker 7 (01:24:59):
Well, at any rate, we should probably.

Speaker 10 (01:25:04):
Do what we can to get ready, make our purchases,
anything we wish to sell, get all of that done,
and perhaps leave it first light. Speaking of which, we
also have the scrolls for Moon's journey. Did we perhaps

(01:25:26):
want to pour over them tonight? Or did we wish
to do it while we're on our journey.

Speaker 9 (01:25:33):
I think we should try to get an early start.
I'm sure we'll have plenty of downtime along the way. Okay, yeah,
that works.

Speaker 14 (01:25:46):
All right.

Speaker 9 (01:25:47):
Well, who's who is ready for some fish? And I'll
reach down and grab a whole fish and just start
shredding it. Think it's a corn on the cob?

Speaker 6 (01:26:02):
Question? Is that the same fish you picked up like
a week ago, no, two weeks, several months ago with
the guy friend?

Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
Mister you are you grabbing this from your inventory? Or
is this no food? Like food?

Speaker 9 (01:26:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
Okay, there's still a pile of food inside us inventory.

Speaker 9 (01:26:18):
Yes, we save that for later.

Speaker 6 (01:26:23):
I don't think I like fish very much. Uh what
what do you like?

Speaker 9 (01:26:30):
Mmm?

Speaker 11 (01:26:32):
Smoothies?

Speaker 6 (01:26:33):
M not fish smoothies.

Speaker 3 (01:26:39):
Who would do that?

Speaker 6 (01:26:41):
I don't know what goes in smoothie. Normally I usually
just put fruit in there, okay, vegetables and sometimes mud.
Do we have any mud? I aska rue mud?

Speaker 5 (01:26:59):
Why do you need mud?

Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:27:01):
Greg? Greg wants mud. He doesn't like fish very much.

Speaker 9 (01:27:04):
Oh the sun side.

Speaker 10 (01:27:09):
Maybe Andrews is also a practitioner of the elemental magics.
He might be able to make something if he has
earth capabilities.

Speaker 3 (01:27:21):
He needs something impaled.

Speaker 6 (01:27:25):
His appetite.

Speaker 3 (01:27:28):
And impaled what his appetite.

Speaker 6 (01:27:30):
Put a hole in his appetite. You know, he wants
to eat mud.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
I'm mud mm hm.

Speaker 6 (01:27:40):
Say, And I kind of extend a pseudopod and then
one of my eye things that will goes with the pseudopod,
and it kind of extends over to where enders his book.

Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
Is or his loath for a reason, what is that?

Speaker 4 (01:27:56):
What?

Speaker 10 (01:27:58):
It's what he stole from the professor. If you recall
that conversation. Stealing is not borrowing, Stoll, Did she know
you had it.

Speaker 5 (01:28:10):
Until before we left?

Speaker 10 (01:28:13):
Yes, she didn't know you had it before we left.

Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
His eyes everywhere. Apparently the magic's stronger than mine. She knew.
She explicitly made that clear as I was revealing the
book why we were leaving, thinking I got one up
on her. We had a game we played. We would

(01:28:36):
like to keep it private.

Speaker 10 (01:28:40):
Okay, have you bonded with her too?

Speaker 3 (01:28:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:28:47):
I turned to Iris.

Speaker 7 (01:28:48):
He played a game she played kids with the professor.

Speaker 6 (01:28:52):
Right, what's the book?

Speaker 3 (01:28:58):
Oh? Nothing, It's just the information on a lot of
stuff in the world. Okay, including magics, how things and
properties work together.

Speaker 6 (01:29:09):
Can you let me make sup in it?

Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
Mm? Well, simply there's information on creatures.

Speaker 9 (01:29:18):
Kay. As Andrews is explaining the book, I'll reach over
to a wine bottle and cork it and start pouring
wine for everybody.

Speaker 7 (01:29:31):
Thank goodness.

Speaker 9 (01:29:34):
It might be a while before we have a meal
like this. You should enjoy it all we can.

Speaker 12 (01:29:44):
Right.

Speaker 10 (01:29:47):
Oh are you doing okay?

Speaker 6 (01:29:52):
Oh what do you mean, I'm not doing anything right now? Why?

Speaker 7 (01:29:57):
Just checking up on you?

Speaker 3 (01:30:00):
Hm?

Speaker 14 (01:30:00):
Hm hm.

Speaker 7 (01:30:06):
This is a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:30:09):
I know it's a pretty pointed question, isn't it. Yes,
m M no, actually no, no, not once, not ever.

(01:30:34):
Thank you for asking. I appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (01:30:40):
Right, Well, if you want to talk about it, we
don't have to talk about it now, we can or
we can dissect it leader if you get your thoughts together.

Speaker 6 (01:30:54):
It's nothing really to get together. Really, I mean, it's strange.
I want to get back because if this is life forever,
then this is really really just what color is Iris's rope,

(01:31:22):
my clothing? Sorry, ruse robe? What color is rouse robe?
What you see it? It looks, it looks I can't
see it.

Speaker 7 (01:31:39):
Your color blind.

Speaker 6 (01:31:42):
I guess I can kind of see that you're there,
but I can't see things.

Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
Really can't.

Speaker 6 (01:31:52):
I can't can't feel things, can't taste things.

Speaker 10 (01:32:01):
Despite you're putting them in to absorb them, you cannot
taste them either.

Speaker 6 (01:32:07):
I've been trying this entire time, and I can't. I
put everything in my mouth and nothing tastes like anything.
The only time I tasted anything was when we first
came here. We killed those things, and I tasted non bread.
I think ever since then, it's been nothing. Everything here
is strange, and it's kind of like the only other

(01:32:28):
time I was able to see anything properly was when
we were like half dead looking venders. So I guess
that's how I am.

Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
Yeah, there's information in your end slimes M. And I
considered a walking mushroom. Mushroom one of the first inhabitants
of the world. Your bodies are covered in viscous dice
just to fluid M. Yeah, you're pretty much nothing made

(01:33:12):
up matter? Interesting?

Speaker 10 (01:33:17):
And are you able to try and form any sort
of like eye flaps or anything of that sort to
be able to try and see better?

Speaker 6 (01:33:27):
Oh? I mean that one time we were doing the exam,
I did that, but it hurt, It really hurt, and
then it had to stop otherwise it would keep hurting.

Speaker 3 (01:33:42):
There's something interesting, M. You haven't really taken on your
true nature. It seems you're also hu symbiotic.

Speaker 6 (01:33:55):
Symbiotic what do you mean, something swallows you, You may
be able to help inhabited if something swallows me.

Speaker 3 (01:34:07):
Or if you swallow it. This kind of goes both ways.

Speaker 6 (01:34:13):
I had not been doing a lot of swallowing enders
inanimate objects.

Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
If you try swallowing something live, hmm.

Speaker 6 (01:34:22):
Not really, I mean sometimes I protect I protect iris.

Speaker 3 (01:34:26):
Oh, we saw that way. We don't know if you
follow the rules of the monsters regard YEA or not.
I don't think you tried to explore outside of that nature.

Speaker 9 (01:34:45):
I quietly open my inventory and I pull out one
of those fish. I throw it onto the table.

Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
It's extremely dead.

Speaker 9 (01:34:58):
Never mind, I quietly reach over and I drag it
back into my inventory. Oh good to know that things
don't maintain a state basis in there.

Speaker 6 (01:35:14):
That's what your inventory smells like, don't no, So that's.

Speaker 10 (01:35:20):
Why you try to taste everything though, Well, yeah, I
had no idea.

Speaker 6 (01:35:30):
It's why I keep asking what does it taste like?
But nobody tells me but Moon, But she's not here anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:35:39):
Have you tried to break the bounce and you hold
on yourself?

Speaker 6 (01:35:44):
What do you mean like turning to a pool?

Speaker 3 (01:35:46):
No, you seem to have traits that go beyond what
a normal slime can do.

Speaker 6 (01:35:54):
Well, apparently normal slimes can't talk.

Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
Oh, there's more reason you can mutate. You ever tried
to mutate beyond this line?

Speaker 6 (01:36:05):
I mean kind of a little bit. I mean that
one time I turned into a pretty neat dragon. I think,
is I trying to I could fly? We saved your
life that way.

Speaker 3 (01:36:17):
Again, I believe that it was limited. We feel that
you have some potential as farther than what you're pushing yourself.
Who am I to.

Speaker 6 (01:36:25):
Say, hmmm mmm, I don't know, or as you say,
I could just be nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:36:34):
Cameric states as well, you have am I wrong?

Speaker 9 (01:36:39):
M worth trying?

Speaker 14 (01:36:42):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:36:42):
That's the case. My mirrors are normally made up of
a assortment of things. Don't you try to push those
limits a little further solidify yourself? Well, that's interesting.

Speaker 10 (01:37:00):
If he ended up becoming a super hot slime guy.

Speaker 6 (01:37:04):
Huh, I don't like the warm very much.

Speaker 15 (01:37:09):
Oh, okay, I was just I mean, just a suggestion, Okay,
if you ever wanted to, I don't.

Speaker 6 (01:37:20):
Know what anyway, get sweaty? Can I sweat? It feels
runny that the Dragon Empress lady is really uncomfortable to
be around.

Speaker 10 (01:37:36):
Yes, but at this point we kind of need her,
right m hm. That being said, perhaps we seek out
tomorrow her staff to see if phy'll assist us in
getting to our airship. Okay, and then is there anything else?

(01:38:01):
Perhaps they might have some of the get well anything
on the laws of Ellen draft at least maybe that
maybe they have like some records of their laws or
something for when their diplomats go there.

Speaker 7 (01:38:19):
I don't know we could ask for those.

Speaker 6 (01:38:21):
Two sounds good to me. But either way we need
to find a way to get strong or try and
like a creative fold and cover what where my mouth
would be from enders and say we need a power level.
Otherwise we can't fight Moon. Or at least do you

(01:38:41):
do what do what end is said? God damn it, way,
do what end is said and take her to that
realm and fight her and save her from herself.

Speaker 3 (01:38:52):
Yes, a celebrated practice between all of us is needed.
It's it seems in our travels we have been relying
on what we each can do ourselves instead of going together.
There's two ways we can do this. You get stronger,
and it's the obvious. Second is comboing our skills together,

(01:39:13):
reading more powerful spells, more strategic attacks, finding out, pushing
our limits and so one is that a limit that
the other takes over to help that person. Cutting as
individuals is not going to be able to be enough
to take on many things in this world. Also as

(01:39:36):
reading a lot of them wars and books that are
around the office of the Professor taking a peek at
letters and manuscripts of the arch mages. This world is
very real. Escape the fact that this world is not real.

(01:39:57):
Lose yourself. You can't actually die. It's not about starting over.
I got lucky, at least that's what I put together.
Could be wrong, but I do know that you mentioned
these wild ideas about this world not being real. Take

(01:40:22):
it as it is. The people here are suffering in
a very real way. That anger from the Empress was
very real. The loss of our soldiers the dragons very real.
I'm connected to this world. It's very real to me.

(01:40:43):
Once we grasp that, I believe that it will be
the first step. It's becoming more. This is not a game.
Our lives and the lives of others not to be
played with. Take something out. We have to be serious
about it. Also, you have to come to terms with

(01:41:11):
losing one of another, if it comes down to it.
I feel that if I go down again, it will
not be no return, So we have to prepare more
than ever.

Speaker 7 (01:41:28):
Also that the Professor brought it up to me that.

Speaker 10 (01:41:37):
She and I are the only two that she knows
of in Regalia that can cast that spell that brought
you all back. So I'm going to look into ways
to protect myself as well.

Speaker 7 (01:41:54):
We'll do some research, do you know that.

Speaker 3 (01:42:02):
From what seems and correct me if I'm wrong, as
well as limitations and I point towards your scars.

Speaker 6 (01:42:17):
Yes, so.

Speaker 3 (01:42:28):
You already have. We have a slight plan.

Speaker 1 (01:42:30):
Bo.

Speaker 3 (01:42:31):
We'll start with you find ways to manipulate your powers.
I believe you only scratched your.

Speaker 6 (01:42:37):
Surface that one time when you hit me with that knife.

Speaker 3 (01:42:43):
And did I hit you with a knife?

Speaker 6 (01:42:44):
Yeah, you led me out. You shake me?

Speaker 3 (01:42:47):
They released.

Speaker 6 (01:42:51):
You, shake me prison style? Not again? Please, there must
be otherwise.

Speaker 3 (01:43:00):
I'll have me leave this up to you too. Either
take on your cameraic state or mutate in a way
that you can push boundaries.

Speaker 9 (01:43:10):
We can start small. Maybe catch a mouse or a fish,
a life.

Speaker 6 (01:43:20):
A live fish, maybeack turnto a fishing pole.

Speaker 3 (01:43:24):
Well, I was only mentioning the symbiotic state. There's one option.

Speaker 7 (01:43:29):
But you mean morphing himself.

Speaker 10 (01:43:33):
Yeah, you know, if it has anything to do with
rituals or anything like that, maybe I could offer some
of my magical power to help you too.

Speaker 6 (01:43:44):
Oh maybe, I mean there was that one time when I,
you know, I was able to shape myself into what
I felt was like a dragon or something. But it
didn't last very long, and it hurt like heck, kind
of gave me. Maybe fee all stirred up.

Speaker 11 (01:44:06):
Maybe you just need to stop worrying about the pain.
H Or it could just be like you know you're training,
you gotta train a muscle.

Speaker 6 (01:44:21):
I don't have any muscles, Greg, but I guess you're right,
no pain, no gain. Maybe I have a six pack
underneath it or something. Maybe you have to find one.

Speaker 10 (01:44:31):
Well, for now, how about we rest that potential six
pack and in the morning we will tackle everything together.

Speaker 6 (01:44:39):
Okay, sounds good to me. All right? Is there a
bowl or something and hair like a bowl?

Speaker 1 (01:44:53):
Yeah, there's probably something I imagine that they would have,
like a I have some drinking glasses, and I imagine
there's probably like some kind of a bowl or something
where they put it. Yeah, they were like, like, uh,
mints or something in a bowl? Is just empty those out?

(01:45:13):
Mm hmm bo eat something.

Speaker 6 (01:45:15):
I don't know, Oh, Phizzy, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:45:20):
M hmm. If I can ask you a question, Yeah,
when you died, what did you feel like?

Speaker 9 (01:45:30):
Huh?

Speaker 3 (01:45:31):
Don't do you remember any.

Speaker 14 (01:45:33):
When I died, it felt like it felt like.

Speaker 9 (01:45:51):
There was something squeezing me from inside, something too tight,
like try to fit into clothes that don't quite fit.

Speaker 14 (01:46:10):
It felt like.

Speaker 9 (01:46:18):
I felt like a number of things. Why do you ask?

Speaker 3 (01:46:24):
Mm hmm. I was wondering if you went to the
place I went to?

Speaker 9 (01:46:31):
Where did you go?

Speaker 3 (01:46:33):
Dogness? I can't remember at all, but there's old dokness,
loss of whispers.

Speaker 9 (01:46:44):
Were you scared?

Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
No? H like I was devoided of emotions. There was
others there. The one that was furious and that was maddening.
A few others eye silence. There was one that kept.

(01:47:10):
There's one that didn't belong. We set him on the throne.

Speaker 9 (01:47:23):
This sounds chaotic.

Speaker 3 (01:47:26):
He didn't share our intent nor our name. That one
had to go. He solidified himself first, calcified.

Speaker 9 (01:47:49):
How do you feel now that it's gone?

Speaker 3 (01:47:55):
Mm hm to put into words half full? But when
nice enough the others out. That's what I felt released.

(01:48:17):
The other two were stubborn.

Speaker 9 (01:48:23):
The other two.

Speaker 3 (01:48:25):
Yes, we went by colors gold, red. Blue. Gold was
always furious, loud, obnoxious. Red only cared about vengeance, maddening destruction.

(01:48:54):
Blue yeah, chaotic in nature, but at a balance at peace.
The decision wasn't mine. It was Iris and Bo's decision.

Speaker 9 (01:49:14):
They were there.

Speaker 3 (01:49:17):
They also let go of the one that did not belong.
He went first.

Speaker 9 (01:49:30):
Are you talking about Frank.

Speaker 3 (01:49:34):
That's the name they keep calling him.

Speaker 9 (01:49:37):
Hm hmm.

Speaker 3 (01:49:43):
I wonder agreement. I also wanted that one gone.

Speaker 9 (01:49:51):
I wonder if something similar happened to Moon. Maybe a
part of her died and she had to let go
of parts of herself.

Speaker 3 (01:50:04):
Could be a possibility she did react once. It's hard
to remember that when myself split multiple times seemed to
anger more reliant is bashing.

Speaker 9 (01:50:29):
M I didn't really feel something like that. It was
similar in a way, but.

Speaker 14 (01:50:42):
I was scared.

Speaker 9 (01:50:45):
I had never been more scared in my life.

Speaker 7 (01:50:51):
It was.

Speaker 9 (01:50:55):
It was like fighting for everything that I had. It
felt like I was going to lose everything. I was
surrounded by memories, all of my memories, all of the
different parts of myself and the people that were in

(01:51:18):
my life. And I had a choice, had a choice
to let go or to fight, and I chose to fight.

Speaker 18 (01:51:35):
And it made me feel so angry. I just I
just couldn't stop there, you know, like that wasn't the

(01:51:58):
end for me.

Speaker 3 (01:52:02):
Interesting describe more of this anger emotion.

Speaker 9 (01:52:10):
M you can see that. As I've been talking to you,
my hands have bald into fists and my nails are
digging into the fleshy bits of my palms.

Speaker 3 (01:52:28):
I should have been anticipation.

Speaker 9 (01:52:33):
I blink and look around. I look at the food
in front of us. I look at this mediocre room
that's comfortable but not a home. I look at all

(01:52:53):
of our stuff that's just strewn about, all the things
that we brought with us, and I just can't help
but feel like there's something missing. And you just see
that anger just it just melts away. My sigh and

(01:53:15):
my hands let go. The answer that you're anticipating it
doesn't come. Instead, I just what you said about being

(01:53:39):
here and accepting it. I had a really hard time
with that. I refuse to accept it. But I think

(01:53:59):
you're into something. I think I think I'm ready to accept.

Speaker 3 (01:54:11):
It, and that it's the first step to increasing your
understanding of the world and power for all that you
know is setting in front of you. When you detach

(01:54:32):
yourself emotionally, you may lose or gain, but the importance
is knowing what's in front of you and what's tangible
in the now. Would have gone to whatever pass that
you may have had will only hinder us. I believe
that's what we have above the valkyrie is accepting the

(01:54:58):
now and thriving in it. That emotion that you let
go of just now. I believe you should learn to
hone that, because that's what makes you alive. It's the
thing I'm missing.

Speaker 9 (01:55:21):
Yeah, I think I can use it now. I think
I understand, and I'm not going to let that happen again,
not to you, not to any of us, and not
to myself.

Speaker 3 (01:55:43):
It's all in theory, really, but I believe that is
the right.

Speaker 9 (01:55:49):
Col I looked down at the table. You didn't drink
any of your wine.

Speaker 3 (01:56:02):
Oh, I have a different hunger lately.

Speaker 10 (01:56:13):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (01:56:16):
I don't want to make you feel a certain way.
The others seem to accept it because we're a miss battle,
But lately I have found myself needing manna and life energy,

(01:56:40):
maybe a balance to keep myself here.

Speaker 9 (01:56:50):
I see, well, I need more wine, and we're all out.
So you see me reach over and I take your
class night down in one gulp. Wow. Well, if I

(01:57:13):
find any man I'll I'll give you some. How's that sound?

Speaker 3 (01:57:20):
And I look over to the others. I want to
attack them. I want to attack to you. I'm still
getting applimated with everything. I know that I'm strange and
maybe just be a part of what was here before.

(01:57:42):
But I believe they chose the best part. I understand
what they risk to pull whatever part of me out
of there. I will tell you. Then they were hard
to convince. They almost made a very interesting decision. But

(01:58:05):
in the end, some miracle happened and I came back again.
Read it was loose. He ended both gold and eye,

(01:58:33):
and they risked themselves to bring me back. So I
owe it to them, and you know, to do what
I can form in a state of entropy, not only
as a chaotic but as energy. You can pour energy

(01:58:54):
into anything and at the moment of the mixture anything
as possible.

Speaker 9 (01:59:11):
You can see that I'm watching you as you're talking,
but my eyes are glazing over and I'm nodding. But
you can see that I don't completely.

Speaker 3 (01:59:22):
Understand, but I'm just sure your on page. The laws
of the matter and everything that works in the world
is something that always.

Speaker 9 (01:59:35):
Oh okay, wait, flip back.

Speaker 7 (01:59:42):
You read too fast.

Speaker 1 (01:59:53):
Night falls upon our group as they have their first
height of rest together in quite some time. You all

(02:00:13):
get a full rest as you relax here. If you
want to recover any inventory points, you can spend ten
zen it for each inventory point you want to recover.
But otherwise morning rolls around.

Speaker 9 (02:00:44):
Oh my head, show off.

Speaker 10 (02:00:53):
What a beautiful morning. Good morning everyone.

Speaker 3 (02:00:59):
On page three eighty five.

Speaker 9 (02:01:08):
I can't I can't no, I've run away from enders.

Speaker 3 (02:01:14):
Chapter half of chapter one. I just.

Speaker 5 (02:01:18):
You can cheer with me.

Speaker 10 (02:01:19):
I have my encyclopedia we can cross reference, and I'd
love to chair with you.

Speaker 6 (02:01:25):
Oh network back of the Academy.

Speaker 3 (02:01:28):
On page one, as you see, the tells something of
the strange deal.

Speaker 9 (02:01:36):
OEMs Eventually, all right, Greg and I have packed up
everyone's bags to the best of our ability, so we
should go see the Empress whenever we're ready to go.

Speaker 10 (02:01:57):
Okay, excellent, Okay, So checklist, please help us get to
our airship.

Speaker 7 (02:02:04):
And then number two on the checklist.

Speaker 10 (02:02:07):
If you have any sort of diplomatic documents that allow
us to know about the laws and regulations of Ellen
Drath in particular, please provide them.

Speaker 7 (02:02:17):
So that we might be able to not get kicked
out right. Anything else on the checklist.

Speaker 9 (02:02:25):
Make sure to grovel and then beg and stroke the
Empress's ego.

Speaker 6 (02:02:35):
Oh so like a tailor something.

Speaker 10 (02:02:38):
For some reason, I thought of one of the novels
I've read in the past.

Speaker 7 (02:02:41):
But let us continue to the palace.

Speaker 3 (02:02:45):
I begin to poke bowl in the back, but not through,
but with a dagger.

Speaker 6 (02:02:56):
What are you doing back there? Kind of like shuffle round?

Speaker 3 (02:03:00):
Do you know that I was doing something back here?

Speaker 4 (02:03:03):
Hm?

Speaker 3 (02:03:03):
Hm h huh interesting h polticual subject notices and feels
and something goes right, okay, nothing.

Speaker 6 (02:03:18):
I could see you doing it.

Speaker 3 (02:03:22):
But you said you couldn't see.

Speaker 6 (02:03:26):
I can't see, but I can see. It's like.

Speaker 3 (02:03:30):
How do I.

Speaker 1 (02:03:32):
Shades?

Speaker 10 (02:03:34):
Like when you close your eyes really tight and you
kind of can see things.

Speaker 7 (02:03:39):
But not really.

Speaker 3 (02:03:40):
I stop paying attention, walk out and keep writing.

Speaker 6 (02:03:42):
Okay, stand behind that door me m M okay, Now
I can't see you. Oh it makes no sense, but
I can't see you now. But now come closer. Now
stand behind me. Hello, I can see you kind of.

(02:04:07):
I can feel you there.

Speaker 5 (02:04:08):
I am very close to you now, right.

Speaker 6 (02:04:12):
I guess a bit further away will be more appreciated,
but yes, yes, all right, Now walk over there towards
where ENDERS went like I don't know twenty five feet. Okay,
you've disappeared.

Speaker 7 (02:04:34):
Do you need glasses?

Speaker 6 (02:04:36):
No, you're not there anymore.

Speaker 10 (02:04:41):
Huh, we'll have to figure this out.

Speaker 6 (02:04:48):
Hmmmm. Anyway, magical spectacles that allow him to see magicals.
We'll work on the name. I'll keep following you.

Speaker 10 (02:05:04):
Perfect, and we will make our way to the emphresses abode.

Speaker 1 (02:05:13):
Heading back outside into the streets of Cinder Shroud. It's
a very busy day outside. It's like late morning, and
I think that I imagine you all kind of slept
in a bit because you've this is the first time

(02:05:35):
you've been together in a while, so I imagine that it's
like a little bit, you know, a much needed rest.
And uh, things are are quite busy. There's little like

(02:05:56):
I imagine like little street food vendors about, and there's
there's probably like some dragons that are kind of like
like sat on some towers. I imagine there's like various
spots around the city where they're like dragon stoops. They

(02:06:17):
just have like, uh, they just have like balconies almost
built onto various towers here and there, and dragons tend
to like stoop there. So there's like the occasional you know,
smaller dragon that you might see there that just kind
of like screeching at people that get too close, and
you know, like little kids like pointing like and trying

(02:06:40):
to befriend these dragons, like guards probably warning them like no, no,
it's gonna fucking eat your hand.

Speaker 9 (02:06:46):
And you know, is it the same energy as like
the mounted like uniformed people outside of like the palaces,
like the mounted police and the tourists are coming up
and trying to take touching them.

Speaker 1 (02:06:59):
Yeah, it's a little bit like that. Uh, it's also
like a little bit dangerous. Like you've probably have seen
signs like dragons are not pets, you know, like yeah, yeah,
there's probably like you know, really like obvious uh safety
signs like all about like uh, you know, do not
do not feed dragons from your hands. Dragons uh will

(02:07:21):
periodically snap and many hands have been lost, you know,
and they have like the little safety diagrams with people
losing hands and blood splurt. Handless people will yeah, totally, yeah, absolutely,
people missing fingers and stuff.

Speaker 6 (02:07:36):
Say whatever you do, route, don't throw up next to
the dragons.

Speaker 3 (02:07:43):
What mm hmmm.

Speaker 6 (02:07:47):
Okay, that's a call back to a previous episode where
I spend a fabulous points to make cats sick, like
dragon effidisiac or something.

Speaker 9 (02:07:56):
Go, yeah, I forgot to worry. I'll only throw up
at opportune times light for death.

Speaker 1 (02:08:07):
You know, cats are known to do that only at
very opportune times.

Speaker 9 (02:08:13):
Definitely, not like right before you're gonna start streaming.

Speaker 1 (02:08:17):
How have you rolled ahead ball yet, or like you know,
just randomly during the night, very close to your sleeping arrangements.

Speaker 9 (02:08:26):
I don't have the urge to throw up a hair ball.

Speaker 1 (02:08:33):
Okay. So you make your way to the Imperial Palace.
You can see there's people that are kind of like
milling about. There's probably like a sign that's posted like
like the Empress holds court at you know, specific times

(02:08:53):
or whatever posted and it's usually like early till late afternoon.

Speaker 10 (02:09:05):
Hm. Well, I suppose at least let's get in with
one of their advisors or what have you in order
to get on the docket.

Speaker 5 (02:09:13):
Right right, So we're looking for that.

Speaker 1 (02:09:18):
Okay, Yeah, worries insight and insight.

Speaker 10 (02:09:22):
A single checker group, okay, open chim.

Speaker 1 (02:09:28):
Nine. Okay. It just takes you a little while to
do before you can find the right person to get
you into the palace. I imagine it probably takes you
like half an hour to talk to the right people
and eventually make your way inside.

Speaker 9 (02:09:48):
This is way more dignified than the last time that
I came here.

Speaker 7 (02:09:54):
How did you come inside here? Last time?

Speaker 9 (02:09:58):
Let's say that it involved me going through some steers.
You know, we don't need to talk about that right now.
It's fine.

Speaker 7 (02:10:07):
You'll have to tell us about it.

Speaker 8 (02:10:09):
That sounds super fun.

Speaker 11 (02:10:20):
We were crawling through the stewers. We stunk real bad,
especially Rue.

Speaker 6 (02:10:27):
Oh nice one, Gregg. Does she smell now?

Speaker 1 (02:10:36):
I don't know. Did you take a bath? Of course,
I mean you took one yesterday, But like, I don't
know if everybody washed up this morning or what have you.

Speaker 7 (02:10:48):
I would definitely have I smell like flowers.

Speaker 1 (02:10:56):
I mean bo probably smells like mince hmmm, mints.

Speaker 6 (02:11:01):
I spelled like mint flavored or mint scented hand sanitizer.

Speaker 3 (02:11:05):
I think, mmmm.

Speaker 6 (02:11:09):
Apparently you know your way around the siller is rude.

Speaker 9 (02:11:15):
I know how to get myself in and out of
sticky situations when the call rises.

Speaker 10 (02:11:22):
Not afraid to get dirty.

Speaker 9 (02:11:30):
Yeah, they're really sticky. Anyway, it looks like the line's moving.

Speaker 1 (02:11:42):
As you make your way into the palace. You are
eventually led to like a waiting area, probably one that
you were familiar with from yesterday. Eventually a guard will
come up to you.

Speaker 3 (02:12:02):
You are next.

Speaker 16 (02:12:04):
Please prepare yourselves to speak with the Empress. If you
cause any trouble.

Speaker 3 (02:12:10):
Be aware we will act appropriately.

Speaker 7 (02:12:16):
Understood, Thank you kindly.

Speaker 6 (02:12:19):
Question.

Speaker 3 (02:12:24):
Speak it?

Speaker 6 (02:12:26):
What trouble like? What kind of trouble like? Trouble? Trouble?

Speaker 3 (02:12:32):
Is this your familiar.

Speaker 10 (02:12:39):
I shrunk.

Speaker 3 (02:12:40):
We are familiar with him, yes.

Speaker 7 (02:12:43):
Quite familiar.

Speaker 16 (02:12:48):
If you make any sort of aggressive actions towards the Empress,
if you disrespect the Empress.

Speaker 1 (02:12:54):
If you do anything that threatens the Empress in any.

Speaker 11 (02:12:58):
Way or the facts, you will be dealt with appropriately.

Speaker 10 (02:13:04):
Oh, we would never do any such things. Thank you
for letting us know.

Speaker 6 (02:13:09):
Oh, let's go, okay, okay, But I wanted to ask
if Austin was trouble.

Speaker 3 (02:13:15):
Is trouble?

Speaker 6 (02:13:16):
I can tell you that right now.

Speaker 3 (02:13:18):
Who would be stupid enough the grape.

Speaker 1 (02:13:21):
There's like fires and shit going off like in various
places as you're walking, like, you know, the palace as
a I would imagine probably like a fire breathing sort
of atmosphere, you know, like it's uh. It's almost like
a heartbeat of the palace right like you know, like
torches might typically like uh, raise and lower like a heartbeat,

(02:13:49):
almost like a pattern in in lighting this place periodically.
But after you break from the crowd, guard leads you
to the to the throne room. The door is open

(02:14:13):
and you see the familiar sight of the Dragon Empress
and the guards in the throne room.

Speaker 10 (02:14:19):
Here, I'll walk towards the front.

Speaker 7 (02:14:25):
I'll be the first one.

Speaker 16 (02:14:26):
In and I, my majesty, I present you the heroes.
They have returned once again. We have iris of Ellen Drath,
threw of cat enders of Brahm and bow.

Speaker 1 (02:14:50):
Technically mhm.

Speaker 10 (02:14:55):
In your highness, and I'll take a little bow. Thank
you for seeing us.

Speaker 11 (02:15:03):
I didn't doubt that you would be here today as well. Now,
what trouble do you bring to my doorstep?

Speaker 10 (02:15:16):
No trouble at all, just a couple of questions to
see if you'd be willing to help us out in
order to be on our way with the mission. Our
destination is going to be Ellen Dress and then we'll
be moving on to other regions in order to either
try to find some support, to try and make sure
that we gain some power and knowledge and to better

(02:15:41):
understand the situation at large. So your assistance to getting
back to our airship that we haven't skolled here would
be most appreciated. And also if there is any sort
of information or documentation and that you equip your your

(02:16:01):
diplomats with in order to send them to I'll undress,
perhaps with laws or customs and things like that, that
would be highly appreciated as well.

Speaker 1 (02:16:11):
Please make an insight and willpower jo and.

Speaker 3 (02:16:14):
Supplies and perhaps supplies.

Speaker 1 (02:16:18):
You have just increased the difficulty. This is now fourteen,
not it.

Speaker 10 (02:16:23):
It and the same solo check or a group check
and hear anybody else talking. Okay, you said insight willpower,
but DM, we are there with our presence the seventeen success.

Speaker 1 (02:16:42):
You brought presents.

Speaker 6 (02:16:45):
That's my kind of joke, arect.

Speaker 1 (02:16:48):
Now you know how it feels? Okay, uh A seventeen?

Speaker 12 (02:16:54):
Very well?

Speaker 11 (02:16:55):
I shall provide you with some sort of transportation to
scald Mere. And what sort of supplies are you asking
for in regards of food and drink? I can supply
you with that.

Speaker 3 (02:17:12):
Mm I was and I hold my tongue.

Speaker 10 (02:17:19):
Well, I suppose that would be good, or some sort
of coinage to at least support that, as we do
require some assistance in that regard.

Speaker 6 (02:17:34):
Money hmm, if possible, like a royal allowance, maybe a
sponsorship so to speak, Mmm, a bursary.

Speaker 1 (02:17:48):
She she leans back in steeples her fingers.

Speaker 11 (02:17:57):
I wonder if your presence here makes things more difficult
for me.

Speaker 3 (02:18:09):
If I may and I looked at rates. Of course,
the relationships between the different capitals and regions seem to
be on the shaky road.

Speaker 11 (02:18:26):
That is an understatement. No, Allan Drath is not friend
to Malfax.

Speaker 3 (02:18:33):
Understandable. Mel Offax is the most powerful and gorgeous.

Speaker 6 (02:18:38):
And fearsome, striking fiery.

Speaker 3 (02:18:43):
I believe they all know this, and what better way
to know that Malifax is the ones that saved Regalia
in the end. Who else in these regions have brought
together all the heroes from different regions and set us
on a mission to do such a thing. Then the
great Impress the best region here.

Speaker 1 (02:19:08):
Her eyes, her eyes like narrow as enders speaks.

Speaker 11 (02:19:12):
I understand what you say. You wish to be some
sort of representative for Malifax.

Speaker 3 (02:19:23):
At least me. I will take the mantle as your sword,
As I.

Speaker 10 (02:19:29):
Said before, you are leading the charge. With regards to
the situation with the sick the Valkyrie, I believe that
it would be in the best interest for us to

(02:19:52):
perhaps at least try and bring as much of regalia
together on your behalf.

Speaker 7 (02:19:58):
With regards to this, you.

Speaker 3 (02:20:00):
Are the first one to know of this threat, calling
upon the leaders to be the first to act. There's
a power move, a respected one at that. No one
else can take that credit. And you've already got the
strongest weapons at your disposal.

Speaker 11 (02:20:22):
M very well, I shall grant you one thousands in
it assist you with your troubles.

Speaker 3 (02:20:36):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (02:20:38):
It's very gracious of you.

Speaker 11 (02:20:40):
But you're aware something a representative would of me the facts.

Speaker 3 (02:20:57):
It will take that mental.

Speaker 11 (02:21:00):
Oh no, I require it from all of you except
for Iris.

Speaker 9 (02:21:06):
No.

Speaker 11 (02:21:07):
She is of Ellen Drath. I think it would not
go well if she were to wear anything too obviously
associated with mile Offax. However, I am beginning to believe
that if she is a part of your party and
the rest of you wear something of mine, then it

(02:21:32):
will seem as if we are all working together. That
may go a long way.

Speaker 10 (02:21:44):
While we are there. Is there anything that you would like,
perhaps for us to push forward to try and see
if maybe you might be able to have some talks
with Ellen Drath. I don't know what your situation is, but.

Speaker 11 (02:22:01):
Hawks with Ellen Dress it is not so simple as
you believe it to be.

Speaker 3 (02:22:07):
This is.

Speaker 1 (02:22:09):
Something that we have struggled with for many generations, simply
a different fundamental belief in societal roles, responsibilities to people.
I shall think on it, but for now. And the Empress, Uh,

(02:22:38):
this is such a weird reference, but it's the only
one that comes to mind at the moment. If you
ever saw I forget what Star Trek movie this was,
but the ones where they were at the Klingon trial
and they had that sphere that they would slam like
a gavel. I can't remember which movie it was, I

(02:23:00):
want to say, or maybe six, I can't remember.

Speaker 6 (02:23:07):
Six.

Speaker 1 (02:23:08):
Yeah, but they used it like a gavel, so it
was just a metal sphere. And the Empress has something
like that, and she probably she probably slams it on
the chair of her throne, on the arm of the throne,
and her guard, her guard captain approaches and she says,

(02:23:36):
give them the.

Speaker 11 (02:23:37):
Cloaks, and.

Speaker 1 (02:23:44):
You can see that he brings over a small chest
and opens it up. And there's cloaks with the mill
offax and the Empress seal upon them.

Speaker 18 (02:24:09):
I take mine with two hands.

Speaker 6 (02:24:13):
Yep, a jaw or something with a similar kind of
affectation there.

Speaker 1 (02:24:18):
So there's a small there's probably like a small cloak.

Speaker 3 (02:24:21):
For bo penitu.

Speaker 6 (02:24:24):
Yeah, I'm perforating.

Speaker 3 (02:24:28):
I'll take in drip it over one shoulder.

Speaker 11 (02:24:35):
You are aware these when representing my interests. If I
am to pay your way one thousands, and it will
do for now. Perhaps I shall award you with more
on your travels, but for now this will do a

(02:24:56):
person hotel.

Speaker 7 (02:25:00):
Thank you.

Speaker 10 (02:25:02):
And as mentioned previously, if you do have any sort
of documentation that will give us some insight, that would
be very helpful.

Speaker 11 (02:25:12):
Say Joed Captain.

Speaker 3 (02:25:15):
And Prus. One more thing, if I may add I
have a question and I whip out the Grimore. I'm
a grimoire, and I may I answer assistance and understanding
a spell. It's a high caliber. I think I got it,
but I believe if I it'll harm us. And I

(02:25:38):
believe there's a way to twist this and only you
of your stature, I mean understand it.

Speaker 1 (02:25:47):
Make another insight and willpower check.

Speaker 3 (02:25:52):
Open check. Yeah, I do this dextags all right, A seven,
A lucky seven.

Speaker 11 (02:26:06):
She says, I do not have time for such things.
Straight to one of the gods. They may be able
to help you.

Speaker 3 (02:26:17):
I scoff a little bit with my eyes, even though
I can't be seen, and I just slightly bow and
I put the groom.

Speaker 11 (02:26:24):
If that is all, I have much to attend to.
We are dealing with an amber Stone crisis. You may
have seen the sections of the city that have become powerless.

Speaker 10 (02:26:40):
Indeed, thank you, your highness. We'll get out of your hair,
and if we get any sort of updates on our end.

Speaker 7 (02:26:49):
We will let you know.

Speaker 11 (02:26:53):
I will expect regular reports, at least one per week.

Speaker 3 (02:27:00):
Indeed, I still have a communications through.

Speaker 11 (02:27:06):
Good I'm glad that you can hang on to that.
Don't lose it.

Speaker 3 (02:27:13):
I bite backwards.

Speaker 7 (02:27:17):
Very well.

Speaker 11 (02:27:19):
Now, If that will be all I need to continue
court for the day, you may leave.

Speaker 9 (02:27:31):
I I bow deeply and back out of the room.

Speaker 6 (02:27:40):
I shuffle off. I think the cloak kind of gets
absorbed into me. But then I noticed this, and I
kind of go and then like you see, the emblem
kind of shows through this line, but like there isn't
actually like a cloak on bow. It's kind of like
in his membrane kind of do sure.

Speaker 1 (02:28:03):
Uh. The the guard at the door leads you out.
You see the next group like waiting looks like probably
some there's some noble or something waiting next.

Speaker 10 (02:28:23):
All right, so we've got our travel arranged, you've got
everything ready to go.

Speaker 7 (02:28:29):
Right, let's do it then?

Speaker 14 (02:28:33):
Right?

Speaker 3 (02:28:37):
We should, well we could? Is there anything we need
here at all? There was multiple reasons why I asked
for what I asked for. We carry the seal of
the Empress. Now that carries weight.

Speaker 9 (02:28:53):
But like a discount.

Speaker 3 (02:28:55):
Well, I mean, if that's what you're looking for them,
but there's a little bit more weight than that it
carries I think also carries the.

Speaker 9 (02:29:05):
Responsibility careful about abusing the favor of the Empress.

Speaker 3 (02:29:11):
That yes, definitely more what I was leaning to. The
weights not being a positive thing, but can be used
in a sort of way. But yeah, be cares.

Speaker 4 (02:29:25):
Well.

Speaker 7 (02:29:26):
I can't think of anything quite yet.

Speaker 6 (02:29:29):
Do you think like police discounts? You know, like we
got in there friends of the Empress, and then they
give us like free stuff.

Speaker 7 (02:29:39):
Perhaps we don't do that ru is right?

Speaker 10 (02:29:42):
Oh okay, yes, I mean, if if you have anything
you need to pick up in the shops. Let's do
it otherwise, I say, let's get going right early, bird
gets the worm and what have you?

Speaker 3 (02:29:56):
Also, Bo, you didn't see the large amount of manner
behind her? Mm hmm oh that's what I thought on.

Speaker 1 (02:30:05):
One Yeah, I think, uh, Rue, you probably remember what
was sleeping behind the dragon mtress in the shadows? Yeah?
Do you do? We see like Rue's tail get like
fluffy a little bit like?

Speaker 9 (02:30:18):
Oh yeah, the entire time we were in there, Rouge
was just hiding behind everyone ears down, all my fur
bristled and standing up, and I am currently holding my
tail and trying to smooth it out as we're walking away.

Speaker 8 (02:30:38):
Huh.

Speaker 10 (02:30:39):
Yes, perhaps the faster we get out of here the better,
and I'll nod towards Rue.

Speaker 9 (02:30:46):
Yeah, let's get going all right?

Speaker 10 (02:30:51):
Name what was it gave me?

Speaker 6 (02:30:56):
Dining?

Speaker 19 (02:31:00):
Okay, I get to eat the annoy your animal.
