Thank you, enjoy. Our party has arrived back in Scald

(01:01):
Mirror on the waterfront.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
You have started to disembarked from the glide craft back
into town.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
What do you do?

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Is there a gift shop?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Most likely there's a general store.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Good not a gift.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Shop, not specifically, No interested.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
I've pulled up my shawl and I'm trying to cover
my ears as much as i can.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Are you all right?

Speaker 6 (01:45):
Rue?

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Yeah? Yeah, I'm fine. Straight into a little bit of
trouble a little while ago. But as long as we
don't stay too long here in Scald Mirror, I should.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Are you wanted?

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I tried to kick bow, but my foot is stuck
in you.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
This might be awkward for iris because I'm on her
shoulders right now.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
Yeah, my leg is just up by your head.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Do you want that back?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Please, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Okay, let's have a group check to start things off.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
Insight and oh my god, okay, I suppose I'll start
the group check.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Difficulty will be a ten insight insight.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Hmmm, hell.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Failures, God a eleven.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
J succeeded.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You didn't need it. You can see that there are,
in fact wanted posters up for both you and Greg
on various Yeah, twenty five reward. Oh, capture alive?

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Is it essentially like posted on a bulletin board? Or
what kind of fashions post is? Could I try to
inconspicuously rip one or two or three or ten of
them off the walls?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
You can always try dexterity check. Uh, it's decks and decks.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I'm gonna be the top, Greg.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Fifteen.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Greg tries to style his leaves so that he looks
more emo.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
He's like a how.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Common are by the way, if you don't want me asking.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Common here? I don't know. I haven't met any shrublets
from Millifax?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
What not?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Super common? In Alan Drath?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Do we have a cheese the cheese cloth that we
got for you.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Do you want to mind cheese cloth.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Just to cover him up behind?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
I don't know to anyways.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It just operates from me, Rue, go ahead and roll
a D six please, all right?

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Four?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, you've you've swiped four, four sets of posters of
you and Greg around.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
I shove them into my inventory.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
You're gonna sign them?

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Yeah, for a moment, I the first one I take.
I admire for a second they did get my good side.
Slide him into my inventory?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Is it a drawing or a picture or some sort
of screenshot?

Speaker 5 (04:59):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
What does it look like?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, so I imagine it's probably, uh, it's probably like
an enchanted picture. I imagine it's probably like moving Oh so.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's not even like an artist's rendition. It's like a
full on.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
From someone's memory. So it's not perfect, but it's it's
like a little blurry and a little vague, but it
is like it's like a moving picture. And I think
it says something along the lines of.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Like basket beater, something like you've.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Got like a horrible nickname. Absolutely, it's just like basket smasher,
The cat's out of the bag.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Cats at the basket. Nice, nice I try to move
between my companions and shrink down as I'm covering myself
with a shawl.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Sure, Greg, I imagine, is probably looking a little panicked
as well. What am I supposed to do? Does anybody
have a blanket or anything?

Speaker 4 (06:16):
I mean, I have cheese cloth, but I think you
just gave it to Rue. Sorry, does anybody have any
I don't know, blankets at top? Maybe?

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Uh m hmm.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
And does well you can whenever you can take off
the queen's emblem cloak and place it on top of them.
Oh okay, kind of all of us are wearing cloaks

(06:55):
at the queen.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
You think that's like the plomatic immunity or something.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
It's to cover them?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
What? Yeah, it's just for now.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Okay, you can have mine then, diplomatic community. I throw
my cloak at Greg. It kind of like lands on
a branch.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Just there. Yeah, that works, thanks.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I'll just help to fasten it properly. So it's a
little bit, you know better, like more of a hooded
shrouded like you see the eyes and nothing else kind
of vine.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Okay, fair enough. Yeah, you begin to walk through town
and you can hear people, you know, just the general
marketplace ambiance, going out and going out around people selling
their wares, et cetera. Uh. I will say that you

(07:47):
do notice that they're they do have like a you know,
like a town crier kind of situation, which I imagine
is a bit weird because it's, again, it's like an
amalgamation of all this different technology, and I think you're
probably all used to like, hey, if there's news, I
can just check my phone or whatever. So seeing a
town crier is probably like a little weird, especially since

(08:10):
they have like a few of these places have like
monitors and stuff, But it doesn't appear that they have
like any news networks that you can see. And you
can hear a town crier saying.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
Emberstone shortage across all of Millifacts cities are powering down.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
What will we do?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Read about it in the mill Offax gazette. Hey, hey,
Emberstone crisis throughout all of Millifacts.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
I'll take one.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
How much is it?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
That would be five zen it?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Perfect. I'll go ahead and I'll hand them the five
zen it and grab.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
One of the cause that's sure. Yeah, And it's probably
not like an newspaper. I imagine it's probably something like
in between a newspaper and a magazine something along those lines.
You see more of that like magical. Uh, it almost
looks like cyberpunk, you know, kind of shit. You know,
like there's animated pictures in the magazine. It's like a

(09:17):
little bit hefty, some heft to it.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
In the background. I elbow enders a little bit. See,
the Emberstone is turning into a problem. We really should
try to find something to help all these people.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yes, hopefully the books the Sages have we'll be able
to be able to come up with some way of
honesting some kind of magical properties. It's kind of hard
right now. We don't really know the statistics on the Elstrom.
Someone els to study it, and I would think the
Mages the Sages would probably be the best thing in Genosa.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Okay, okay, Well, seeing that we're going to ellen Dress first,
maybe you and I can try to find a library
or specialists or something while we're there.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Yes, I would hope that one of the largest nations
regions will be concerned on that.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
M Okay, can I see the paper I'm flipping through
it while we're walking. I'll kind of lower I'll like
raise it up because you're on me right.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
I can't read anyway, what did to see what it
tasted like?

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Anyway, I see I'm flipping as we walk. M hm.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Does it say anything about what the crisis is?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Oh? Yeah, like, oh yeah, absolutely, it would. It would
it would say it would talk about like, uh, you know,
the the war and the peace negotiations and that, you know,
the Emberstone Council and new restrictions. They would kind kind
of outlie outline like the the the the requirements for

(11:07):
Emberstone usage, et cetera. There's probably some like really dry
technical bits that they kind of talk about a little
bit here, and then there's information about like COGA officials
and Emberstone Council being headed up in Coga. And yeah,
in terms of like directly affecting Millifax, I think that

(11:30):
they talk specifically about like cinder Shroud, especially the capital,
and how that they're probably the hardest hit by it.
There's a very large population in cinder Shroud. It's the
biggest city in Regalia, and they talk about I think
they talk about like different districts of the city like

(11:51):
entirely shutting down.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
So it's a supply thing.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, Okay, is there anything I guess kind of like
what I'm looking for while we're looking at this, is
anything that we personally don't know that would.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Be in this magazine.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Okay, insight because that there's a lot of stuff we
do know.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Sure, I'll do insight and insight and I say this
will be uh bo and iris probably because you're both
looking at it.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
And what's the difficulty.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Difficulty will be since you're skimming it, I'm going to
say probably like a twelve.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Okay, yes, that is a seventeen success.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Okay, yeah, your question one more time, please.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I'm looking you know, when you're reading a magazine and
it's like a topic you kind of already know about,
but you're skimming to find particular things that are relevant
that you didn't already know, right, Like you're like, Okay,
I know this, I know this, I know this. I
did not know that. I know that is extremely vague, Okay.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I think they would talk about the fact that it's
not just Millifax that's being affected by this. There's they
have like some quotes I think from the different countries
as well, and there's an analysis at the end of
the article that talks about like, uh it, Tessa seems

(13:24):
to be fine and like, uh you know, is this
due to the supposed Kaiju problem that it Tessa has
or in containing the kaiju? You know, the kaiju haven't
been a problem across millifasts aside from you know, one
Kaiju outbreak during the war near the end of the war.

(13:48):
And I think that there's probably like there's that like
conspiracy theory lean towards it where they're blaming like a
lot of stuff on a Tessa for them not having Emberstone. H.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Well, this seems like it's sort of trying to pook
towards Tessa.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Being the issue.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
And I'll kind of show everyone what I've been reading,
and apparently it's not just malefax. There are some testimonials
from others. HM.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Who who was that war? Do we have a do
we have do we even know there?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I'm sorry you were asking me who was in the war?

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Who was that war?

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, so there's actually a pin in our discord that
lists the embargo factions.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
What was that brought out?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I think who means who's like the main the main
two contenders too, So the.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
A lot of I think a lot of people view
it that you've spoken to thus far that it was
kind of like Cryptia Millifax and Cyntharis almost like versus
everybody else, but there were neutral nations as well.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Gotcha? And what else were you gonna say, Frank?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
And what ended the war? Besides, it wasn't Moon that
ended the war.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
So the.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
From the like first couple episodes, these towers were put up.
There were seven Emberstone towers that were put up. You
visited one of them, you saw one of them being activated,
and there was this pulse of energy that was released,
and that is what contained the Mailstrom. Supposedly these towers
from making the Mailstrom not go out of control. So

(15:58):
essentially they're in the face right now where they have been.
And I'm just paraphrasing because trying to trying to put
all this into roleplay context I think would be tricky, but.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Because I'm not the same.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
But the gist here is like the towers were put
up to contain the Mailstrom so that it didn't just
like take over the fucking world here, and they cut
the Emberstone usage aside from where it's needed, so that
they they have linked the Mailstrom to massive overuse of Emberstone,

(16:34):
and the towers are kind of like regulating the Mailstrom,
so they have to find some kind of other solution
for Emberstone now in.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
That because it's not being produced by the Mailstrom.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Wait, the Mailstrom produced the Emberstone.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
That's not the they're linked together in that over it
seems like the overuse of Emberstone was making the Mailstrom
and yeah, yeah, veil bigger.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
And that was confirmed or is that speculation? Good question?

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I think you have only heard it talked about by
some of the higher ups. You heard it in Cooga
and other than that, I don't know how many questions
you've really asked about it.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
That's good. That's good for me to know because that
that was a big mising element for me. But that
will lead me into figuring out a problem. Okay, thanks absolutely.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
So.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
People you know the whole Shattered Alliance thing and know
all that stuff. You know, when we were still in
a video game, the last dungeon we were in was
called the Emberstone. Mine is that significant to anything? Like?

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Where is that?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
And is that? Like? What?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
That was the raid that was going to be done
at Regalia. That was the first like raid dungeon for
Shattered Alliance for the expansion, and that was being premiered
at Rigalicon. That's why you were called and everybody who's
trying to get like a world first at the event
to see if they could get all the way through
this raid. But that's the only Emberstone related thing that

(18:18):
you had when you were in right.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Get we told at the event like where it set
like region wise?

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Ah, okay, that would be my guess. If we're going
to go to Ellen Draft, you should probably stop in
Cyntharis and check on the m of Stone mind to
see what actually happened there. No one saw me about
it raid?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
What what level was the raid? Though? Do we remember
what level of the raid was for the event, because
that's a big deal if we're going to go to
any region like that.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
The level for the Vanilla version of the game was
twenty five, So it was twenty five because this was
supposed to be like the first raid.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Okay, so we're close ish.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
It's like a Health VI citadel, you know, like in
Burning Crusade kind of deal.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
You know.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
It's the first thing you do.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
Of going to Cyintharis now is that we do have
the Empress's favor and kind of gesture over to one
of the cloaks, and we know that Cintharis was in
alliance with Millifax. So if we want to poke around,
maybe we should do that sooner than later.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Okay, it's strange to me that a lot of stuff
is not being talked about. Them astone mind should be
talked about all over the place. If it's an origin,
I also need to know what embostone really is the
veins of the world. On top of that, how in

(20:08):
the heck does emberstone contrain and contain a maelstrom? Doesn't
that up?

Speaker 5 (20:18):
So I suppose we have two options here. We can
try to go to ellen Dras first and maybe ask
questions about Synthoris before we go, or do we just
go straight to Syinthoris.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Also, you mentioned a kaiju Kaiju being old and ancient
inhabitants of the world. If so, what stir the kaiju?
That makes more sense to me. The uses of mberstone

(20:52):
probably affected their habitats. Maybe the Kaiju are the ones
that affect the maelstrom. How old is mberstone? Is imberstone
man made? It's a natural would I know that? Sorry?

(21:15):
Go on, we just have a conversation, just cut it
any time. But my thing is, if emberstone is a
natural stone, typically what happens is mankind or humanoid kind
will probably take said natural resource and change it to

(21:36):
benefit themselves. Don't thinking about anything else.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Isn't that what Tim Kross was doing in the Live
in the Laboratories?

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Possibly you're trying to enhance humanoids. Yes, I can see.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
I suppose that's what we have the three factions now
with the Shattered Alliance. But was Sintharis with the pro
the Embostone continuation people? I think they will, weren't they?

Speaker 3 (22:06):
So?

Speaker 4 (22:07):
I guess it makes sense they have the mind too.
But at a character, would we know that kaiju are
only from one place?

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Uh So when you played the game, I think that
that was part of the part of the story with
a Tessa. Tessa had it's kaiju and it was like
a big in the game, you know, like when you
when you played the when you played as a guild
and stuff. The Kaiju were meant to be sort of
like almost like world bosses.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
You know.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
They would kind of like spawn in a Tessa and
they would be unable to leave a Tessa because of
these magical uh similar like magical towers that it Tessa
had to to like keeping them almost like cordoned into
into it Tessa. They have like these giant masal barriers

(23:01):
around their cities.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Also, when did the melstrom form?

Speaker 5 (23:11):
It's always been there, hasn't it? Since we started the game.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
It's increasing.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
It sounded like that was something that came up in
the middle of the war.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
That is, that is something that Moon has, that Moon
mentioned or whatever. Early on the towers went up, like
towards the end.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
For so, if the towers went towards the end of
the war, we got here when the war ended. Do
you see a time issue going on? Based off of
what you are seeing is that you came from a
different world and the war ended. The towers just went

(23:57):
up to contain the melstrom. No one's talking about that.
No one's mentioned anything besides Moon in the big meetings
between all the leaders, they were more concerned about the
usage of mbostone. You would think the mail show would
be the biggest concern since this world ending, supposedly, so

(24:19):
could m bestone be a distraction at the end of
the day.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
I wonder if we woke up because the towers went up.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
That's a great question. I have a suggestion. So you
remember our origin quests. Maybe you don't enders, but you
remember how we started in each of those regions. M hm,
Well where I started was I think it was Faliesia

(24:52):
or something like that. I wasn't able to get the pronunciation.
But my origin quest started very close to the border
between Cintharis and ellen Drath.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
The mines were.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Pretty close to that starting village. We could go there
and see if maybe anyone there might have any information
on the mines or even information on the the rift
or anything.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
H hold the phone. So you say you're from ellen Drath, right, yeah, well,
well what do you mean by that you're from ellen Drath?

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Well, ellen Drath is a large place. There are smaller
villages and whatnot within. I don't know how Millifax has
different places.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
Right, I know.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
But like you're saying I'm from, like, you know, from
ellen Drath, like you've been there before, you know, like
and just keeps saying, you know, I'm from Brahm. But like, yes,
wouldn't that mean that he would have been there before
I have been to Brown.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
If that's the case, then maybe some people from those
quests are actually there, right.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
That's what I was thinking. And if that's the case,
and you know, like our world that linked and you
are you're iris from from the game, But maybe people
might know you somehow.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
I would like to reiterate this is not a game, right, yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Mean life is, but a game it timeline saying we
are yes, timelines, just.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
The timelines they overlap in a way, regardless of whether
or not we are in a game or in a
real palpable world. Right, there was an existence of Iris
of iris olith beforehand, before my memory.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Because like surely Enders, you're from Brahm, so you must
know people in Brohm by name, your bakup your I
don't know your your beef jerky guy. You know you
must know them?

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Oh, yes, of course, right, and don't have a beef
jerky guy.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
You don't, Ah, you're missing out homemay customer anyway, So
in that case, Iris, maybe that's the same for you.
Kind of.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
I would like for you to step in my shoes
for once. I think of it like this, forget about
who you think you were in this world you're talking about,
and focus on being who you are now.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Right, Well, I understand that, But what I'm suggesting is
that there may still be ties.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Well, I agree. Is what I'm saying is, if you
focus on who you are now, your memory may come
a bit more clear.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Ah, that's what you mean.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
I'm sorry, nophing's taken.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Don't step too far over the edge. Don't get lost
in the sauce.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
As we've been walking, I have been leading the charge.
I have my hood up and I'm taking us to
the airship by the way. So we are walking and talking.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Sure I imagined you are.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Yeah? Uh, and just you know, for ships and giggles,
go ahead and give me decks. Decks no, yeah, just
an open check.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
No, what time?

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Okay, I'm just gonna roll some dice for no reason. No, no,
think about it.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
So it sounds like we've got a pretty good idea
of where we should start your starter village iris.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Right, Yeah, I mean that's it's close enough to where
the mine's location is supposed to be from what I
recall he told us at the event. I could be off.
But maybe she might be able to guide us or
tell us or give us any answers.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Or they might visit your home. Yes, your home? You
do have one here?

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Are you still paying rent? Are you of a deer?
How does that work?

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I remember that you loved decorating your house.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
Yeah, you should also visit your parents.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
I don't think.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
They probably have more information on you than you can remember.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
Question in Regalia is the to the DM, even though
it's a question in regalia, did we have parents and stuff.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Like?

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Did we get to choose?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
I don't think you should let that information out.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
M M.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
You think it might be random. I think we're just
like we're creating right now. You think it'd be random
or you wouldn't choose, or how would you make it?
Because I know some games nowadays you choose lineage right,
like even GTA five did this right where you choose
your parents and then like it made your character. But
what do you guys think?

Speaker 3 (30:31):
I am parents, I have an origin, I have an area.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
I was talking about a character, but no Riley would
have chosen the option of like I was born from
Starshine and bubbles. I don't have parents. That makes it
too close to real life.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
I don't remember any parents in the storyline fruit origin,
but I there may be someone.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
I think if there was, can you please roll me
inside inside open check M.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
You know what? I think that's probably an important one,
so I'm going to I'll use Lucky seven on that one. Okay,
so that's going to be a.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Thirteen or twelve or twelve?

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:37):
You remember your grandma?

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Oh wait a minute, I think the origin story that
I was dealt with. I had a grandmother. I lived
with my grandmother. I don't know anything about parents, but
I know she's there.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Huh, she's old.

Speaker 5 (32:04):
Maybe that'll help us.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
Most people know things true, true, and old. ALF must
know a lot, right, right?

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Maybe?

Speaker 4 (32:14):
I wonder though, is that memory from Regalia or is
that from here?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (32:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Again, I hate to keep stepping on toes, but I
believe that separating yourself from whatever thoughts you think you
may have had and living in whatever now is will
help spark a lot more up here.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Right, I agree, But that's how Frank died.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Who's another companion of yours? Ah? Right? When you keep.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
H mm hmm, I start picking out my nails and
just kind of moving a little faster.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Well, why don't we.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
If you don't have anything else? Do we do we
want to talk to you like a friend or do
we want to just leave?

Speaker 5 (33:40):
I think we should just leave.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
I agree here a nice change of scenery may bring
about new ideas.

Speaker 5 (33:56):
H but enders.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
You should know his name. It's uh, it's Frank Solomon.
And I turn and I just keep walking.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Strange name. Was he of any importance?

Speaker 4 (34:22):
He was kind of our leader.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
He's very important.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
Oh the reason I'm here.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Mhm.

Speaker 5 (34:38):
He was really patient.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
He created you, he recruited me. Ah, well, he solved
the problem for honor him.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
I think you probably arrived at the airship tower and
you can probably still see a Moon's airship up there.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
I turned to the others, Wait a second, don't they
need our passports to get the ship?

Speaker 4 (35:23):
Is that problem?

Speaker 3 (35:25):
No, they don't. I walk ahead, and I tossed the
cloak over my shoulder. The representatives now actually head up
back straight talk with authority.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
You hear some like wood snap as Greg like fixes
his posture.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
Yeah, I black my hair. Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Come come, m we welcome to Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
Yeah. You walk inside and it's busy, like there's you know,
the the airship docks are fucking always busy here. It's
a bit chaotic. There's people all over the place moving
about as this this this is a very crowded city.

(36:23):
It's much smaller than cinder Shroud, and there's all kinds
of people moving about from all different walks of life.
So you're seeing like agricultural people moving through here, you're
seeing nobles moving through here, the whole gamut.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
This is.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Jam packed this place, and there's people that are, you know,
kind of helping trying to direct people, like follow the signs.

Speaker 8 (36:52):
You know, your airship docks, ascending letters. The higher you
go up the tower, most agric cultural ships are down
lower on the tower, and you can see like they
try to keep it somewhat organized. Typically they keep the
agricultural airships down on the lower floors and some of

(37:15):
the I imagine probably like a lot of the nobles
and stuff have some of the higher floors of the
airship tower and docks taken over. Your ship was probably
on one of those. I imagine it was probably on
like one of the special airship docks. I would like
somebody to make a role for me to see if
you remember what dock it was you've just entered, You

(37:38):
just entered the parking lot. Do you remember what fucking
letter and number your airship was practiced?

Speaker 5 (37:44):
It's here not long ago. I feel like I would
probably have a really good sense of it.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
It was about two weeks. This is open check, yep,
open check.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
It was either DOC seven or DOC nine.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Yep, you remember, ye, and yeah, maybe it was something
like Doc s fifteen or something.

Speaker 5 (38:10):
Like that, Doc sixty nine.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Close enough, yes, And.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
You get on a lift and you start making your
way up towards the airship docks. From what you can tell,
they have like some kind of registration or something, or
like a the equivalent of a terminal, you know, like
a gate sort of situation at an airport on every level.
So you're able to get on the elevator no problem.

(38:38):
Once you get off this lift, you you come out
onto a much quieter area. There's way less people here,
and you can see the familiar sites of probably a
few desks. There's various personnel around, but nowhere close to
as busy as it was down below. You start heading

(39:00):
over towards your gate and you can see that there
is a person sat down that looks official and they
are kind of like in front of the gate.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
What do you do? M I sit straight, but then
I suddenly don't feel like doing it. I'll just stand
up and look towards the others.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Well, you can't exactly, or maybe you shouldn't. I'll go
up to the worker for us.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Okay, excuse me, yes, hello, Hi.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
We're here on behalf of the Empress. We were sent
to recollect the airship that belonged to the Savior. It's
been bestowed upon us.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Yes, we've been waiting for someone to come claim this airship.
I assume you have your payment.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
I'll stand behind iris and I'll look at my fingers
and show a burst of flame here and there, highlighting
the cloak.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
Okay, they don't seem to be super scared of this.
There's definitely like guards on the on the floor.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Not threatening them.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Yeah, they're they're just keeping an eye out, you know.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
Are the already wanted posters nearby?

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Great question, let's find out probably all in the everything.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Noticing that I will actually break away from the group
and slink into the shadows, but I'll keep an eye
on everybody.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
Okay, yes, so uh, she said, Yes, we were hoping
that someone would come pick up the airship. We were
going to have to move it very soon. There has
been a lot of activity at the docks lately, and well, frankly,
some of the nobles are getting very upset. So I

(41:15):
assume you have your I assume that you have your
docking fee payment ready?

Speaker 2 (41:25):
How much is it?

Speaker 1 (41:28):
Oh, let's see.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
I believe it was paid for a little bit in
the beginning. I don't know if it's been extended. And like,
there's that fee.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
Yes, you paid for the first week, and now I
see that you are sitting at yes, three weeks of
overdue payments.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
That's okay, you can just build a giffranastite, I believe
you's just speak.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
To the Empress.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
Yes, she's sending us on this mission.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
I see the Imperial see you upon your garments. Yes,
I unfortunately do not have any paperwork from the Empress.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
However, well, she's such a busy, busy person. I guess
we can contact her and let him know that you
held us up for this. Okay, I'll start pulling out
a scroll.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
Somebody can initiate a role here. This will be insight
and willpower.

Speaker 5 (42:38):
Whatever wants to do, we'll initiate.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
I feel like all three of you can participate in
this group check.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
And what's the difficulty for the check itself?

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Difficulty will be twelve twelve okay, gone, well so far
all right?

Speaker 4 (43:04):
Well fifteen success?

Speaker 5 (43:09):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (43:10):
Yeah, so you take out you see enders like taking
out the scroll or whatever, and uh there's like a
clear you know, seal of the Empress on this on
the scroll, and they're like, there's no need for that.
We we will be, of course, uh happy to assist

(43:35):
with any of the empresses endeavors. Don't worry, we'll take
care of the overdue payments. That's problem.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
Happy to hear this.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Please let the Empress know we are always at her
Majesty's service.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
Of course, how's the saying go again? Say yeah, saying
that you always say towards impress.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Yes, may the Empress's flames go undying.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Very good. And then I'll look to her as iris
and be like and to walk off.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Well, thank you so much, and I'll do a little curtsy.

Speaker 5 (44:17):
You have been a pleasure to work with on this
fine day.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
You probably get like a look at the bill, iris
and it's it's like outrageous, it's outrageous. It's like it's
well over it. It's probably close to like fifteen hundred
zen it or something. Yeah, because it's like fifty fifties
in a day or something like that, and it's like
three weeks over dude.

Speaker 5 (44:38):
Plus.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you, And we'll scurry on in.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Yeah, it wasn't too harsh, was I No, that was perfect.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
I had no idea how I was gonna handle it.
That bill was gigantic.

Speaker 5 (44:53):
I don't know if you saw it, but it was.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
It was huge.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Well, say do we represent her? We handle it like
she would have. And then I walk onto the airship.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
Okay, uh, yeah, immediately recognize the airship on the exterior
has been well taken care of. It's been maintained, it's
been cleaned.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Like.

Speaker 1 (45:18):
Uh, it looks like any small repairs that needed to
be done were kind of taken care of. So, uh,
bloodstains and all that ship that you had going on
on the airship before. All that stuff's been cleaned up.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
The bodies have been completely They weren't hanging.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Out, so you took care of those before. Yeah, jove
those off of the Yeah, don't worry about that.

Speaker 3 (45:43):
I don't know if one got hooked on.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
There's been a fucking zombie that should have been dangling
from underneath just this all time.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
Please kill me, please. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
Uh, and yeah, it's clean. It's clean, which is a
very good situation. I imagine if you recollect the bill.
There there was a massive cleaning of charge and Greg
as soon as Greg gets aboard. Wow, this they really
clean this place up good. It was it was ripe

(46:19):
in here, Hey Greg?

Speaker 4 (46:24):
Yeah, you know the people who are on this you know,
the on this airship making it so ripe? How did
they end up dead?

Speaker 3 (46:42):
What do you mean? I mean when we met you.

Speaker 4 (46:45):
In Moon for the first time, Moon took us to
the to the airship and all your crew are dead.
Did you guys buy this ship or did you steal
it from dead people?

Speaker 2 (46:56):
No?

Speaker 1 (46:57):
This is this is moonship, or at least it used
to be.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
I guess.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
The people that you saw on the deck, they were
the other crew. They died in the fight before we
found you guys.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
Oh okay, so they were like your buddies. Yeah, oh okay,
well m hmm, some of them, right well, I mean
if any were like it was like a friend of

(47:36):
yours or only thing, then I think you better know
that their corpse is probably floating in the Coca Bay
right now. Yeah, I know, Okay.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
It was.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Uh, it was kind of weird for Moon.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
At first.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
As the war went on, she I guess she got
used to it.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
I see, Well, I'm just glad you're on our side,
and you know, like you know, like you guys didn't
do that or anything and stuff. It was quite a
bit on my mind for a tiny bit, not gonna lie, Greg.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Why would we do it? I don't know, Oh, because
of what happened with moon to you guys.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
Right, I'm not gonna lie, And I was. I was
hoping that, you know, like I wouldn't like open my
eyes one day and your green leaves go red and
you kind of try. You know, you have a taste
for blood and self water and juice, but that hasn't happened.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (48:59):
I believe you.

Speaker 1 (49:05):
But I have to say I wasn't.

Speaker 6 (49:13):
Well.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
The moon changed a.

Speaker 4 (49:16):
Lot over the years, like changed how.

Speaker 3 (49:31):
I guess she just.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
Kind of accepted what was happening more mhm.

Speaker 4 (49:41):
I see she.

Speaker 1 (49:47):
She kept talking about it, kind of like the way
that you all talk about it sometimes, like it's a game.
She's tried to talk to me about it before. But
I don't really understand. This is just our lives.

Speaker 5 (50:13):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (50:18):
I hear that a lot from people. I feel as if, Yeah,
what a strange situation we have Greg to be in together.
But it's okay, Uh branch fist. I kind of like
morphoseudopod into like a branch looking thing to try and
brofist him.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
Yeah, does it.

Speaker 4 (50:43):
All right? I kind of bounce away.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
Well, okay, I will head to the cabin. We know
where we're going.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
Mmmm uh iris, Greg's asking where are we going? Oh?

Speaker 2 (51:14):
Do you know about Felescia? Is that the falla essa?

Speaker 1 (51:19):
Like?

Speaker 2 (51:20):
What was the pronunciation that I remember?

Speaker 4 (51:23):
Falicio? Greg?

Speaker 1 (51:25):
No, no, no, no, yeah. I think that was the
running joke probably in the game, was that it was Palisia, Felasia, Aelisia.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Okay, Felasia kind of like Felicia, but Felicia.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
Oh yeah, okay, I think I know where that is.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
It should be near the border between Cyenthuris and delan Draft,
I believe, Okay.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
I guess I'm noticing Grey go into the pilot area.
Are there any ascars if he knows if there's any
regulations on air traffic. There was definitely stiff ones for
mit offax.

Speaker 5 (52:14):
They gave us.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
Remember, we had asked for any things for diplomats and
things like that specifically, so if we got any sort
of details on that or any sort of documentation.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Yeah, you would have gone that before you left.

Speaker 3 (52:29):
Okay, Well, all right, we're kind of wearing the enemy's colors.
So I don't know if they had a special place
for the enemy's minions to go versus regular people, is
what I'm trying to get at.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
If there was a safe port versus say, well, you
know how, don't fly into our main cities.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
People, right right, because we're Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
Yeah. So as far as regulations go in terms of
Ellen Drath and the state of things, I don't know
that they've got like specific instructions for you. Uh they
I think they have kind of general like regulations in
terms of like traveling after the war and stuff like that.

(53:19):
There's probably, like I imagine there's probably like advice stuff
like that in there that says, like, you know, be
obvious ship, like be on your best behavior, don't try
to offend their you know, offend their their their spiritual
ways and stuff like that. As far as practical means anything,

(53:43):
we don't need anything. Yeah, they they will definitely have
some sort of uh like visa program as well.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
Iris because he's not wearing the cloak and he's Eleendra.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
So in terms of what they have in the documents
that you've been given. It's more along the lines of
like fly to one of the border cities and yeah,
and you'll basically require a visa and if you get stopped,
it's gonna be like if you were to get stopped,
like you know, anywhere, if you traveled in the world

(54:17):
or whatever, you have to show your passport or whatever,
something along those lines.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
Okay, And I imagine they had, you know, how you
get kind of emotes for particular starting areas, like a
brawn bow or something like that. Was there anything in
particular that Ellen Draft had, because it's something that IRIS
would definitely, yeah, practice, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
I imagine they probably have like really much less rigid
sort of code of like formality in Ellen Draft. In Coga,
they had a fuck tone of that stuff, like they're
if you if you're looking at the documentation here, like
traveling to Coga, Coga has a giant section in that

(55:02):
in that documentation, it's like several pages they're like Okay,
don't do this, this and this, blah blah blah blah
blah blah, and Ellen Drath just kind of has like
respect them, don't be an asshole kind of stuff, you know,
very loose regulations for alan draft more along the lines of, uh,

(55:27):
you might meet hostility if you if you're there for
too long, like warning they give you, like travel warnings.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Hmm perfect, Okay, Oh wait one, two, three? Where's roue?

Speaker 5 (55:58):
I'll get a communication scroll ping.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
Oh, I'm gonna use navigator to just get in her head.
What's up?

Speaker 5 (56:08):
Start flying now? Start flying now?

Speaker 3 (56:13):
Greg, we gotta go.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
Come. Yeah, it's gonna take a minute. I have to
turn everything on.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
An he's turned on truck radio. It's some more important things.

Speaker 4 (56:35):
Do you need to help Greg?

Speaker 1 (56:38):
How do you plan on helping?

Speaker 4 (56:41):
I don't know. And it need to crack something, something cranked.
I'll be okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
I'm I think I'm gonna go sit in the front
of Greg so and no one else. Does I want
to ship the crash? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (57:00):
All right. Uh it takes a minute.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Rue.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
You're you're like you're in some shadow or.

Speaker 5 (57:08):
Some shit like we smash cut so like I'm like
hiding behind chicken crates. I'm trying to keep an eye
on the airship in the distance as best as I can.
I have just squint. It's really hard to see. The
sun keeps getting in my eyes, and I'm super frustrated,
just trying to avoid anyone recognizing me. I'm like, why

(57:31):
are they starting leave? Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Yeah you can see you can see like you can
see stuff like gradually starting to turn on on the airship,
like the repellers start turning on, and the end you
can hear the engine started to turn over.

Speaker 5 (57:46):
God, finally, Oh my gosh. And I'm just like honkering
in the shadows. My tail is twisting irritably behind me.
My ears are flattened.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
There's like you can see like the there's like dirigible
sections of the airship, you know, the giant like balloon
parts to it that are starting to like fill up.
Is that.

Speaker 5 (58:17):
Is enders in the front seat.

Speaker 1 (58:21):
Drive.

Speaker 5 (58:25):
IM just sulk waiting.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
It's like a it's like a good several minutes before
anything happened through You're just like stuck waiting.

Speaker 3 (58:36):
All the questions when he's starting and stuff on.

Speaker 5 (58:42):
I grow impatient and I something catches my eye. It's
either shiny or it's fish, and I'm gonna try to
steal from someone who's passing by.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
It is something shiny. This is this is like the
no docs. So yeah, there's people wearing all kinds of
fancy jewelry and stuff they're walking past.

Speaker 5 (59:06):
I try to rob a guy.

Speaker 1 (59:08):
And as we think about any sort of diplomatic relations
with the people of medwind Sta. Yeah, please give me
decks and decks and you can make an open check
for this. Holy shit, roll me a D twenty.

Speaker 5 (59:35):
Eighteen.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
Oh yeah, so I imagine anything that is easily grabable.
So I imagine that there's probably some like uh like
gold chains that you imagine are connected to some like
pocket watch or something and grab that shit. It's really

(59:58):
it's a really fancy looking pocket watch.

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
I slink into the shadows and I'm just turning it
around night washious.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Yeah, there's like gold filigree on it, and you can
see there's like like when you wind it, there's it's
it's all like dragon themed, you know, like they have like, uh,
like the dragons like kind of like breathing fire, and
then the number show up.

Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
I just sit cross legged in the shadows. I'm just
playing with it, and I forget about the airship for
a moment. I'm like, oh shit, yeah, you can see
it starting out again.

Speaker 1 (01:00:33):
You can see it's starting to leave the dock.

Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
Now, really, where I'll be there, fine, fine, Fine, I
open my inventory pull out of smoke bomb, and I'd
like to use my ability to see you later, so
I will spend a fabula point to just uppere next
to iris. Please. I think it's like, yeah, it took

(01:01:06):
y'all long enough. Dang, are you okay? Look at this?
And I show the pocket watch.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Oh you bought that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
It's so lovely.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Thank you, it'll look great. Oh what about what about here?
And I point to you somewhere kind of on your
your outfit. What do you think you'd look good there?

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
I just put it in between my tits.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
Oh do you leave the chain out so it's easily.

Speaker 5 (01:01:43):
Yeah, it's just dangling. I'll go help with steering.

Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
By the way, you got that armor a while back, right,
did you ever get that fixed?

Speaker 5 (01:02:04):
I did not. I didn't have a chance between the
being poor and then imprisoned, and then going through sewers
and then being under complete scrutiny of the Dragon Empress's eye.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
Well, no, the lockn arm might be able to help
who big ember guy, the king? Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
Yeah, your thing?

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
Yeah, if you want me to try?

Speaker 5 (01:02:37):
Yeah, I mean I just opened my inventory and just
like to drop the broken armor onto the floor.

Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Okay, that works.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
I just can't. I can't use it, so.

Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
Yeah, sure, perhaps I'll try when we are a little
further away, so that they don't see the arcanum spawning
and assume the worst.

Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
Yeah, and I just step over the armor and I
go into the navigation area, stick my head over the
over ender shoulder, just looking down at the console. Hmm
have you ever flown one of these before?

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
I'm learning learning that Greg is doing the heavy lifting.
I'm just asking a bunch of questions and acting like
I understand. What are you saying?

Speaker 5 (01:03:37):
Mmm, whatever you do, don't hit that lever right there,
trust me, don't touch that one. No, Ded, I just
hang out.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Sure and uh, Greg probably says, points over towards the map.

Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Oh, I'll circle where Iris has been talking about over
and over.

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
Okay, we're heading towards Fallatio right there.

Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
M all right, So on the map, Greg said, Greg
sort of gets up and like points to a vague area.
He thinks it's probably about their issue.

Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Oh and and I'll explain to Greg about but we
talked about about the laws or whatever when it comes
to entering a new area, especially being on the side
of the emperor.

Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
Okay, well, whoever's in charge of navigation here, he gets
to take control of the party token and start to
move it the way that you would like to move it.
Is this it? Right?

Speaker 3 (01:05:18):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
This is the ship the party token here.

Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
Was up here?

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Wait, I can't believe not everybody can do it. Somebody
has to choose, and then everybody starts.

Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
Moving like it's a board. That's not what I That's
not what I do. Why is it moving this way?

Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
Somebody's moving it like a leakiboard. You gotta move it
like one hecks at a time at a time. All right,
so you are staying you were staying along the edge
of the land. Is that what you're doing?

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Okay, so hold it there.

Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
I would recommend ru Will say, hey, maybe we should
try to get a little closer to the Maelstrom. I'm
not saying we should go in any dangerous route, but
maybe we should try to see what's up.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
Wait, we're pretty close.

Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
Now what if we went a little closer?

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
Okay, she's over my shoulder, so I'm pretty stress. You'd
be like, let me, let me, let.

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
Me in this.

Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
It's also going to take you hours and hours, so yeah, yeah,
we can.

Speaker 3 (01:06:41):
There is that where you put us?

Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it's good.

Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
Okay, so this trip is probably going to take you
a while. Let's see, so this is roughly.

Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
We wouldn't go like that close in the noils.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
I don't know. That's if you if you uh, if
you go to the token controls the top left one
and then you go to the ruler measure distance if
you if you hold well zoom in, you can just scroll.

Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
How do you add points?

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
If you hold control while you do it, you let
go and then left click will draw.

Speaker 5 (01:07:27):
Oh yeah, so maybe something like this right, yeah, like
like that? Yeah yeah, okay, so just safe.

Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
Ish okay, So that is four hundred plus miles, so
that will take you many hours to come to complete this.
Uh and let's start off with a travel roll. Who
would like to make the travel roll?

Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
Is it dex decks? Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
No, this is just a certain die. I'm going to
ask you to roll in depending I'll start depending on
the threat level, the die will change. I will say
this will be a D eight, So just a flat
D eight.

Speaker 5 (01:08:21):
Let's see what you've got. Enders you do it?

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Oh, because I'm still in the party token.

Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
No, No, it's not that you got to put the
slash before they are Oh I'm gone.

Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
No you're not.

Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
It's just a tapeo. Oh, it's a one that.

Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
That is a very good thing. Okay, an unexpected discovery. Well, women,
uh you uh, this will take you many hours to do.
This is probably a probably an eight hour trip so far.

(01:09:07):
This is, you know, the equivalent of traveling across the
country in an airplane, and this is probably a little
bit slower than your average airplane. I'm gonna say this
is at least eight hours travel. So you've all kind
of started to go about your business. It is probably

(01:09:32):
late afternoon by now, I imagine maybe coming up on dusk,
and you are purposely flying at least within reasonably close
range of the storm veil rift.

Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Before when rou would have proposed this, would it have
been possible for me to find the time to do
a protection ritual using my ritual arcanism, since that's one
of the domains Jutakara has just to kind of reinforce
the vessel itself, not even like protect you know, us individually.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
I don't see why not is anybody did anybody else
attempt to do anything along the way any by the
way at any time, if we're doing any travel or
anything like that, just you feel free to speak up
about anything like that. I will just keep kind of
barreling along otherwise. So you can absolutely do that. But

(01:10:35):
I think when we do travel, just try and mention
it beforehand. Feel free to her.

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Yeah, yeah, I just didn't want to interrupt everybody.

Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
Sorry worries. Absolutely, So you want to do a protection ritual?

Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
What is the goal?

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
Yes, So the goal would be to kind of reinforce
the vessel, maybe either reinforce it physically by adding a
barrier to it, or I mean making it less likely
to attract enemies or something. I don't know, whatever you
think would be more applicable.

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
Okay, I will say airship is considered large since times three.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
Mm got one hundred and three mana, so I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:11:26):
Know whether I have enough. Yeah, I think this is
probably major and large. So that's one hundred and twenty manna.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
Yeah, okay, never mind mind points.

Speaker 4 (01:11:39):
Yeah, then I would have just.

Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
Been working on Okay, then I would have just been
working on her armor using vulcanar and ritualism.

Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
If needed, can I offer something? Shoot, I will start
doing a dance behind enders, and as I do, it
will actually begin to form these wisps in the air
that trail after my fingers. And you hear the jingling

(01:12:08):
of a tambourine, you hear the twinkling of a bell.
And I'd like to cast a spell. This is actually
one of my heroic spells. I took extra spells once
I hit the appropriate level. And I want to cast
acceleration on the airship. Oh my god, because it says target.

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (01:12:34):
It doesn't say target creature. It just says target.

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
Okay, So I will allow this, but I'm gonna make it.
I have to change this a little bit. I have
to say. I'm going to say that this is probably
gonna blow your manna you do this, Yeah, sure, okay,
and it's not gonna last that long. Yeah, okay, very well.

(01:13:09):
So yeah, I'm gonna say you use all of your
manna to do this, your mind points and you get
a fucking horrific migraine to do this.

Speaker 3 (01:13:21):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
But yeah, the airship like speeds up for a while.
You maybe get like a half an hour out of
like this, like going from sort of like dirrigible air
like blimp speeds to like commercial airline speeds.

Speaker 10 (01:13:41):
Pat enders on the shoulder, good luck. Just in case
you need a little bit of a boost. You know,
I'm gonna laid down for a second, don't mind me.

Speaker 3 (01:13:51):
Oh that's a great give it us a boost.

Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
And like everything's like redlining like all the like analog
gauges are like like all the way, you know, like
the revs on the engine like yeah, and uh yeah,
I didn't even know she could do that. Do you
know that we were do you know how long we
were traveling?

Speaker 3 (01:14:23):
Is he playing anything or he's just talking to me regularly?

Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
Yeah, I mean he's he's talking to you and you
just hear. I don't know if Bo came in at
any time to translate, but Greg is just complaining the
whole time, like.

Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
My thoughts exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:14:43):
I just agree, yep, And uh yeah, you're you're hustling
and bustling iris as far as vulcan aar, I think
we will need a ritual for that as well.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Indeed, yeah, okay, that works. So essentially what I'll be
doing here is kind of trying to provide in a
little bit of an arcane circle to empower Vulcanar's forage ability,
to make it so that he's able to repair this thing.
So I'm not sure what costs we want to do,
but I'll be dancing around, running around with chalk and

(01:15:20):
making stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Sure, so I imagine this isn't anywhere close to the
kind of costs of trying to protect an huge barrier. Yes,
so this will just be an individual cost and this
is going to be.

Speaker 6 (01:15:39):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
I imagine this is probably medium. So thirty nine points
in difficulty ten.

Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
Okay, so spend the mind points I think for you.

Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
I don't know. Did you have arcanist rituals?

Speaker 4 (01:15:56):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
So ritual Arcanism is will powerplas will power.

Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Okay, and you have that as a yes, as a
thing for you okay, okay, cool, yep, all right, so
will power O power difficulties ten.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
Thirteen.

Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
The armor is repaired. It probably takes a little while.
It's the equivalent of like somebody working the forge, so
it's probably like a couple hours two three hours fix
some of the some of the bits on the armor
that were beaten up.

Speaker 3 (01:16:33):
My bad.

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
I would have summoned him on the top deck to
be clear, so that it's not inside with all that
you know, ford stuff and a giant fire entity but
the light around him from that circle will go ahead
and just kind of first before he summoned, it's like
this blue, regular arcane energy, and when he summons, it

(01:16:54):
just becomes like this small wave of like fire that
stays in place that he's able to use in order
to repair her stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:17:05):
In the future. Should I not do that? I tell Iris,
not do what I destroyed this? Sama didn't I oh.

Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
Uh, well, it's easily repaired. You did it in order
to protect us.

Speaker 4 (01:17:23):
Did you know it?

Speaker 3 (01:17:24):
Well?

Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
I mean I did it because it was a cool
thing to do and we could kill them faster.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Yeah, that's fine. We can always try to take it
to an artisan.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
Iris and Bow are you Are you on the top deck?
Are you like with Vulcanar while this is going I
would have to be yeah. Okay, Then both of you.
Notice the mailstream is bigger than the last time you
saw it. And it's enough that I'm not making you
make a role.

Speaker 4 (01:17:54):
See what's the mailstream? Always so angry looking? And you know,
just genuinely mm hmm. You can tell the difference. You
feel it, right, I can see it. I can't really
see it, but I can feed it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
It looks as though it might be more violent as well. Hmmm,
that's not good.

Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Do you reckon it's because of the use of all
that crystal stuff end the stone.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Perhaps, or perhaps the towers are feeling I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:18:31):
Where's the nearest tower.

Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Cynhauris right, Well, I guess we'll.

Speaker 4 (01:18:37):
Find out if it's smooshed or not.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
M roue Anders.

Speaker 5 (01:18:48):
Can you see that we're startling out holding my head
m hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
Look at the rift?

Speaker 5 (01:18:58):
Oh is that bigger than the last time we saw it?

Speaker 4 (01:19:06):
It is windy, rep you, isn't it?

Speaker 5 (01:19:08):
Yeah? Is it just because we're closer? Do you think maybe?

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
I don't know though it.

Speaker 5 (01:19:21):
I like to go up to the railing and grab
it and just kind of lift my head up and
just sniff the air.

Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
It smells like a thunderstorm.

Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
Oh am, I getting any manner readings from this.

Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
So I think you would have to do a ritual
for that. You can definitely try. Okay, do you have
any sort of ritualism? Otherwise you can use the base one.
I think.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
I think elementalist gets ritualism off rip, but they don't
get like the elemental version.

Speaker 4 (01:19:58):
You just get basic ritual Yeah, I have to check.

Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
I don't think you have any sort of ritual magic
because you didn't. I don't think taking it.

Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
I think.

Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
There's there's an actual skill that you have to purchase.

Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
Yeah, for anything elemental or whatever like domain. But pastors
in general, when they take like elementalist, they get ritualism.
So if it falls in that, you could use it.
But what were you trying to do?

Speaker 3 (01:20:28):
That's why? I mean, honestly, you just wanted to see
if there were man of spikes from the Maelstrom. Because
I'd determined something.

Speaker 2 (01:20:37):
For me you would need in tropic rituals. Then I
think maybe, let me see, I.

Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
Have tropic magic.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
Ritualism is extract magic from an object, activate a soul circuit.
Since the presence of magic, you could maybe argue that,
but I'm not.

Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
I think you need.

Speaker 4 (01:21:02):
Process.

Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
Let me see.

Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
I'm trying to help you. Look, sorry, I didn't mean
that causa.

Speaker 11 (01:21:11):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
I do have ritualism. I think elementalists should too.

Speaker 1 (01:21:16):
I think it's a skill you have to take though.

Speaker 2 (01:21:18):
No, uh, you may perform when you get the free benefits.
If you go to the elementalist page, Yeah, you get ritualism.

Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
I don't have to put that on my thing doing
it's a good idea, just so you can remember what
you can do.

Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
Under classes.

Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Now to spells.

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
Uh huh huh.

Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
Under skills elementalist skills.

Speaker 3 (01:21:46):
Oh, he say, it's under skills, not spells.

Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
No, there isn't a rituals tab. If you want to
put like ritualism and spiritualism or like whatever you have,
we look on their skills and then you can start
it for your skills on the stats page one.

Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
Oh here it is ritual elemental Okay, I guess that'll
go somewhere in here. Did it work spells? Okay, they
went there.

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
So this is so these are two different things. So
you can do the ritualism one, not elementalism, the elementalism
when you have to buy with.

Speaker 3 (01:22:29):
Other ritual element Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:22:31):
Yeah, it's why I have, you know, a ritualism, spiritism
and then arcanism.

Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
I'm just looking for it for it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:38):
Uh. They might just not have that ritual arganism. Yeah,
they just have the individual ones.

Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Okay, mechanism, Yeah, I see ritual elementalism, ritual.

Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
You have elementalists, right, I have both intro so therefore
you have ritualism.

Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
You can count ritual the base. I'm just looking for
the actual things to add and they don't see those
are different the ones that you just added, Frank, those
are different. Oh, those are the specific ones. And it's
like you can get them for the for the classes
that you have, and those are different when you take

(01:23:21):
when you take spiritualists, when you take elementalists, there's like
a basic one that you can get. It's like the
equivalent of like detect magic versus you know, uh, a
much more specific focus. Okay, general focus versus.

Speaker 3 (01:23:40):
Specific Actually, I don't want to hold up.

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
It's a it's a good thing because uh Iris has
been one of the only iris and bo I think
are the only ones that have used the rituals so far. Okay,
so this is going to be probably just insight and willpower,
I imagine.

Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
Let me check.

Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
Yes, that's for ritualism.

Speaker 3 (01:24:09):
So is ritualism like casting something?

Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
So I have a there's a journal entry for you
on rituals and they kind of give you brief summaries
of what each of the different kinds do. So, for example,
basic ritualism extract magic from an object, activate a soul
circuit since the presence of magic. So this will be

(01:24:36):
insight and willpower. And I will say that this will
be Oh, I see it. Yeah, I will say this
is probably a medium level, so this would be medium
and potentially I'll do this as individual I think because

(01:24:57):
you're trying to sense the area around you.

Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
Yeah, I mean the mills from so big and it's
putting now so much energy. I'm just trying to gauge it.

Speaker 1 (01:25:05):
Yeah, this will cost you thirty mind points and the
role will be difficulty ten.

Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
Okay, okay, all right, I'll take away the mind points.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
It's insight and willpower.

Speaker 3 (01:25:22):
This is an open check.

Speaker 1 (01:25:24):
Uh yeah it doesn't. The difficulty is ten, so you
can have a role check roll check.

Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
That ten insight and willpower. No, I want to do
a fabulip point.

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
Okay, what are you using to do this?

Speaker 3 (01:25:44):
Oh jeez, I have so much Where.

Speaker 5 (01:25:46):
Is my student?

Speaker 2 (01:25:48):
Okay, huh you have a student?

Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
Uh yeah, I'm out of a common graduate. I have
Warrior mage I have.

Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
You can do it, I would say, kidding guys, I
would say Malfacarnum would count. Now are you re rolling
one die or both?

Speaker 3 (01:26:08):
You said ten? Now I'm going to do both because
both of them are small, Like, yeah, I have to
roll at seven on you know, insight and willpower.

Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
We go, Wow, that's nice one, very nice, very good.

Speaker 4 (01:26:26):
That was quite improbable.

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
What exactly were you trying to sense?

Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
Two? Well, it's a couple of things wrapped in one,
and I'll just be specific. I'm trying to see how
much magical energy, if magical energy, is being pushed out
of this maelstrom, and how much like is it calm?

(01:26:53):
Is it erratic? You know, because that way at the
end of the day. What I'm trying to do is
to see if it can be contained of some sort
or used, because if it's magical energy, then you can
manipulate it. Okay, if it's not magical energy, we got
a bigger problem. Want to end.

Speaker 1 (01:27:07):
Yeah, it's definitely magical energy, first and foremost. Second of all, Uh,
it is extremely chaotic, extremely great, and uh it seems
like that there is magic flowing in and out.

Speaker 3 (01:27:33):
Got it. I'll I'll turn. I've been quiet and still
almost stopped in time as I'm doing this ritual because
I'm not doing it physically. I'm doing it in the
power of the mind and emptiness. I'll be using entropy
to do this. And I guess when I turned, but

(01:27:57):
I don't know if anybody's watching or has been watching
out how long would have would this have taken me?
A while?

Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Maybe a few minutes?

Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Okay, Well I did call everybody over to take a
look and whatnot, so I would imagine we'd be fairly close.

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
Okay. I don't think I would have told any of
you that what I'm doing. But if anybody notices that
I am pretty much frozen in time, so to speak,
I'll come to and I'll just turn to whoever it's
closest to me. Weally say I have some maybe good news.

(01:28:43):
What do you mean the energy from that impressive distortion
there is magical?

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Is there any movement on it?

Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
Yes, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
Flowing in and out evenly.

Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
Sporatic. But I can possibly contain it with enough training
because it is chaotic and try specializing. It's going to
take more than just me. Probably I need to speak
to someone that knows and I just go off and

(01:29:23):
start mumbling all these things, and we're whipping out like
books and tones and writing in them.

Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
I want to kind of I have to wreck Konye
a little bit, because there is no way you can
contain this.

Speaker 3 (01:29:37):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not saying I can stop the melchum.
I mean as in containing. It's just like some of
the man aspects, and so I can get a reading
on it.

Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
I'll just say that it's extremely sporatic, it's extremely chaotic.
You definitely can get a feel for how much energy
is kind of like moving about here, gonna say that, Like,
I think you get the impression that the towers are

(01:30:08):
doing something, but it's not nearly enough.

Speaker 3 (01:30:12):
Right, So what I was thinking was that those towers
are pseudo containing it. But it's more like a volcano
in my mind, and I could be completely wrong to
where if you put a lid on something and shake
it up, you know, if it has pressure, it eventually
will blow. And it seems like that's what's happening with
the towers, is that when the towers go out, it's

(01:30:34):
the energy has just been building up over time and
it's going to explode.

Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
Pretty so pretty accurate.

Speaker 3 (01:30:39):
Okay, So if that I'm thinking, with enough studying, we
might not have long I don't know that we may
be able to come up with a ways of containing
it on not bottling it up, but by distributing it
evenly around.

Speaker 2 (01:30:56):
The question that I more so meant when I asked
in character or was Does enders notice whether it's an
even distribution. You said the energy is flowing in and
out of the rift. Is it an even distribution? Is
it replacing itself properly? Or is it putting more energy
out than it's putting in or vice versa.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
Enders would know that it is completely chaotic. It is
not all place, it's all over the place. It's like
you would need an incredible amount of data to figure
that out, right, Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
Yeah, I guess that's where you would see my excitement,
very still faced, but mumbling about all these numbers in
different ways. But I will I will sum it all
up after I notice you all just kind of going,
and I'll say, I believe a containing it is the problem.
The way they're containing it is the problem. But if

(01:31:53):
it can distribute that, let it disparse here and there.
That's going to take a lot. We're gonna need everybody help,
just Millifax, everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:32:05):
Well, we're gonna need more information too. Yes, I mean,
what was it like prior to the development of those
towers is the main question, because I mean, if what
you're seeing is true and the containment is causing it
to get worse, I mean, what happens when you don't

(01:32:26):
contain it though, just.

Speaker 3 (01:32:28):
To problem, they put a band aid over a gaping wound, right, so.

Speaker 2 (01:32:34):
You should probably get more information. These are great theories, though,
And that's so worrying.

Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
Hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:32:50):
I mean, won't happen if we did nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
Well, imagine just popping a lid off something that's been
building up over years.

Speaker 2 (01:33:02):
Degradation of the towers would lead to explosive energy to.

Speaker 5 (01:33:06):
Be but out.

Speaker 4 (01:33:08):
Yeah, and that moon explosion, but times a million.

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
That's assuming that the towers don't malfunction and cause it
to happen sooner rather than later, or that somebody doesn't
try to destroy one. Hright, So we may not have
much time at all.

Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
Well, we may not need a lot of time if
we can get everyone on board. I'll just for the
first time, you'll hear me sigh. We should pull away

(01:33:57):
from this immediately, like now, all.

Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
Right, I pull myself up off of a rail and
I'll run into the cockpit booty, bump Greg out of
the way, and start driving us away from it.

Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
Oh my god, look, I know what I'm doing. Okay,
I'll trust you because I have no idea what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
Mhm.

Speaker 5 (01:34:32):
I drive us straight into the malstrom. Just kidding, just kidding,
just kidding, kidding, jak Jack, why are you gonna put
on the music? I'm a totally competent pilot.

Speaker 3 (01:34:46):
Takes roles and Greg's doesn't. H Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
Greg is sort of crumpled up into the corner. It's
all handled up in the cloak, gets up in a huff,
looks at you. It gives you the finger. Ah, thanks, Greg,

(01:35:16):
then storms off.

Speaker 5 (01:35:22):
Oh yeah, give me a smoothie.

Speaker 4 (01:35:23):
Two thanks damn.

Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
That's exactly what he was doing. By the way, I
know exactly I'm gonna make a smoothie. That's exactly what
I was thinking. I love that my nonsense is actually
getting translated.

Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
You're going to cause me to drink smoothies.

Speaker 5 (01:35:46):
Greg and I have a deep and complicated relationship.

Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Okay, you just hear an angry blender in the background.

Speaker 5 (01:35:58):
Somehow extra angrier than normal.

Speaker 1 (01:36:00):
Well, you know, like it's got different settings on it,
and the blender has like the really angry setting. The pulse.

Speaker 5 (01:36:10):
Sounds like any engine.

Speaker 4 (01:36:14):
The lid's not even on.

Speaker 3 (01:36:22):
You see the mini series of Greg.

Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
And uh yeah, he's uh, he's making the smoothie for himself.
He's not even making any for anybody else. That's how
upset he is. Come on, Greg, but now you are
you're in control of the airship. So where are you?
Where are you taking her.

Speaker 5 (01:36:42):
South?

Speaker 1 (01:36:44):
Okay, so Rue is currently in control.

Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
Yeah. I slide up next to her in the chair
and I just look at her and see what she
did to Greg, and I slide the uh april work
over to her and pointing at the map, and then
I just leaned back in the chair.

Speaker 5 (01:37:06):
Ok Yeah, we're going straight.

Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
H Okay, that's awesome.

Speaker 4 (01:37:18):
We're going straight, horizontal, straight down to the ground.

Speaker 5 (01:37:23):
You're going away from the Maelstrom.

Speaker 1 (01:37:26):
Okay, well, you control the token. You get to decide
where this is going.

Speaker 5 (01:37:31):
Great, we're going here. Games paused.

Speaker 1 (01:37:44):
I feel like my.

Speaker 5 (01:37:45):
Soul is in danger.

Speaker 1 (01:37:48):
This is, by the way, this this detour now is
taking you, like into dusk and nighttime. This is about yeah,
I imagine this is probably like eight pm or so
about Yeah, it just.

Speaker 5 (01:38:04):
Starts to get dark. I let all the controls. I'm tired.
I think I'm gonna take a nap.

Speaker 3 (01:38:12):
I'll frantically grab it. We're not frantically, I'll just grab
it slowly.

Speaker 4 (01:38:18):
I leave I and Tharus, you know, treats their air space,
because right now, I think, what kind of what's the
word invading?

Speaker 2 (01:38:28):
Hopefullyantly is there a compass?

Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
There's definitely a compass. Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:38:34):
Okay, I'm probably gonna notice that we're way out of
where we're supposed to be.

Speaker 6 (01:38:38):
Greg.

Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
You just hear like the blender stopped at some point,
and then like as soon as you yell for Greg,
you just hear it start again.

Speaker 3 (01:38:48):
Wait, how many smoothies? Is even? All right? I'll get
into policy seat. I don't know how good this is
gonna be. I'll I'll be screaming for someone to get Greg.

Speaker 1 (01:39:03):
Okay, yeah, Greg is in the kitchen making a horrible mess.

Speaker 5 (01:39:08):
Greg, Please, we're gonna die.

Speaker 4 (01:39:12):
I go to the kitchen, a buddy. Oh where does
the floor feel like that? You'll need it up above?

Speaker 1 (01:39:25):
Oh? So now they need me.

Speaker 3 (01:39:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:39:32):
Well, it seems as if maybe perhaps Ruth's taking us somewhere,
and I don't know if Cintharis has like surface to
air missiles and you know, like all that stuff. We
might be in danger.

Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
That sounds bad. He's staring at you while he's pushing
the button.

Speaker 3 (01:39:54):
I can see it.

Speaker 4 (01:39:55):
Are you immune to dying?

Speaker 1 (01:39:58):
I don't know. I guess we'll find find out. Can
I try sassy great smoothie? No, it's mine to press
the button the blender. M I bought this blender. It's mine.

Speaker 4 (01:40:16):
Does it look like like a real world blender, like
with a kettle plug and everything.

Speaker 1 (01:40:20):
It's probably a bit different, but it's similar.

Speaker 4 (01:40:25):
Okay, ooh fun be that way. Greg.

Speaker 1 (01:40:29):
Imagine, for example, like you've you've kind of gone to
these different countries. Now you've seen that they all have
different styles and stuff about them, right, I imagine that
this one is probably themed. It's probably it probably looks

(01:40:50):
like it comes from I imagine like Coga.

Speaker 3 (01:40:58):
Oh. I thought you're gonna say.

Speaker 4 (01:41:00):
Okay, but Greg, what do I tell them? They think
I'm the competent one. I've come to get you back upstairs.

Speaker 1 (01:41:10):
That sounds like a you problem.

Speaker 4 (01:41:16):
I'll get you because you're you're a bush. Okay, around
and go upstairs.

Speaker 1 (01:41:29):
Yep, Greg's he's big another smoothie.

Speaker 5 (01:41:33):
Way, what do you mean he's busy?

Speaker 4 (01:41:35):
He's root deep and smoothie right now, he's busy.

Speaker 3 (01:41:38):
Okay, Okay, I can figure this out. We were supposed
to go uh southwest and she's taking us south all right, And.

Speaker 1 (01:41:47):
I'll I just imagine enders is like trying to control
the ship periodically and then go back to the table
with the map on it, and you effectively the navigator.
The navigator is like in charge of that map app table,
and there's just like, you know, the equivalent of like
a token on the map, similar to what we have
where you're just kind of like moving the token figuring

(01:42:09):
out your rough position. Yeah, it's like like a pro
tractor and like a ruler on the table, you know,
like trying to figure out vectors and ship.

Speaker 3 (01:42:27):
If you peek into the pilot areas, just see me
running back and forth, steering, trying to do both.

Speaker 4 (01:42:36):
Said, that sounds like a you problem, get it?

Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
Uh hmm, both yep. Extreme measures have to be taken.

Speaker 4 (01:42:57):
Extreme measures, Yes, break its blender, break his he'll never
forgive me.

Speaker 3 (01:43:06):
It's fine, I'll buy him a new one.

Speaker 4 (01:43:09):
Okay, that suit up on snaps like a salute.

Speaker 5 (01:43:14):
Let's ask him what he wants.

Speaker 3 (01:43:15):
Heat his blender. That way, he's not broken and you
can split it up at any time, right. I think
that's how it works. Not quite experiment.

Speaker 2 (01:43:25):
Why negative reinforcement.

Speaker 3 (01:43:26):
Why not positive because Hi, Joey both things. You'll see
a slight shift in the in the whole airship, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:43:39):
A slight sting. It starts listing like, well, while he's.

Speaker 2 (01:43:46):
Trying to actually get him, I'm going to go into
the room and try to help him the best I can.
But I'm not a navigator by any means.

Speaker 1 (01:43:53):
Sure, Okay, as the airship kind of like little Iris
Iris and Bower going to Greg's area, Okay, because.

Speaker 2 (01:44:01):
I was going to Greg, no, I was helping end
I possibly can.

Speaker 3 (01:44:07):
Hold on to that.

Speaker 4 (01:44:10):
As the turns like this, I kind of just like
a and slide into the poop deckor wherever it is
that Greg is.

Speaker 1 (01:44:17):
Sure, he's just in the kitchen. M you can see
he's put on a bathrobe, and uh, I love Greg. Jesus,
there's like a whole bunch of empty empty glasses that
have been piled up right.

Speaker 4 (01:44:34):
Yeah, listen, I know you're on cool down right now,
but I don't know what it means. I've been told
to get you upstairs by any means necessary, and I've
been told by by enders to do something you won't
really appreciate, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:44:54):
Oh, I don't know, kicking me off of controls.

Speaker 4 (01:44:59):
What what do you mean all that?

Speaker 1 (01:45:01):
Well? Rue kicked me off the controls earlier, and it
wasn't very nice.

Speaker 4 (01:45:08):
Do you want me to apologize or something? I could
do that too, this guy, it's just gonna be that
for a while. I think, uh, before I turn around
and I go rou, I'm on, request.

Speaker 2 (01:45:34):
Me, me me.

Speaker 1 (01:45:39):
There's like some folded up laundry somewhere.

Speaker 4 (01:45:44):
Hey, Rue, is that you?

Speaker 5 (01:45:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:45:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:45:52):
Brow, wake up?

Speaker 5 (01:45:55):
I grab bow and I hold them like a body pillow.

Speaker 4 (01:46:01):
Or group duick too tight, Rube?

Speaker 3 (01:46:04):
Wake up?

Speaker 5 (01:46:06):
You're so sticky.

Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
I mean, that's kind of my main appeal.

Speaker 5 (01:46:16):
And warm.

Speaker 3 (01:46:20):
Room.

Speaker 4 (01:46:23):
It's gonna be like a scene of the Exorcis to
you soon, I.

Speaker 5 (01:46:26):
Swear and turn off his camera. I'm sorry?

Speaker 3 (01:46:39):
What do I do?

Speaker 2 (01:46:40):
What do I do?

Speaker 4 (01:46:41):
Can't both think?

Speaker 1 (01:46:41):
Think?

Speaker 3 (01:46:42):
Think? Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:46:46):
I eat her?

Speaker 5 (01:46:49):
Hell yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:46:54):
And then once I englfer with her head sticking out
of me, I then try and move towards where Greg is.

Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
H m hmm, Greg, what the hell I brought Rue?

Speaker 3 (01:47:17):
You hate?

Speaker 1 (01:47:17):
Rue?

Speaker 4 (01:47:18):
Well, I've mean technically she's not eating. I mean she's
been ingested, but she's not being digested. I mean mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (01:47:29):
She looks like she's being digested, well.

Speaker 4 (01:47:33):
I mean on her close visiting off her body. I
think not, because I'm a responsible slime and I only
do that when I'm very, very flustered.

Speaker 5 (01:47:44):
A rug up h.

Speaker 1 (01:47:51):
Grew?

Speaker 3 (01:47:52):
Whoa?

Speaker 5 (01:47:57):
What's happening?

Speaker 1 (01:48:00):
Please ste you.

Speaker 5 (01:48:05):
Let's try wiggling around inside bow?

Speaker 1 (01:48:10):
Whoa?

Speaker 4 (01:48:12):
Easy? Okay, I spew her out like a toothpaste tube.

Speaker 3 (01:48:23):
Grow.

Speaker 4 (01:48:27):
Greg's really upset right now with you. I think you
should say sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:48:34):
Oh sorry. I don't think he bought it, Greg, I'm sorry.
Why am I sorry? What did I do?

Speaker 4 (01:48:53):
He said you kicked him off the controls?

Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:48:58):
Greg, I didn't mean it like that. I am sorry.
Do you want a hug?

Speaker 1 (01:49:12):
Come here, buddy, Silence for like a second.

Speaker 5 (01:49:16):
I'll give you. I'll give you a hug. Come here.

Speaker 1 (01:49:20):
Yeah, he's so disgusting, like in the short time you
haven't seen him like.

Speaker 4 (01:49:26):
It's well, she's sticky that too.

Speaker 5 (01:49:33):
Ah. I just cuddle him and as I'm holding him, Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:49:44):
If you wouldn't mind that going upstairs, we might die soon.

Speaker 1 (01:49:50):
Ah, that's probably bad.

Speaker 4 (01:49:55):
Have no idea what they're doing, I say, is we
kind of all like slog to one side of the
ship and then hit another wall.

Speaker 1 (01:50:03):
I just imagine the camera has been steady the whole time,
and like we've got we've got scenes over here, and
then it's like slowly shifts to the other side of
the screen, you know, like for the viewers throughout the
entirety of all of this.

Speaker 5 (01:50:18):
I let go Greg and I lay back down on
the ground.

Speaker 1 (01:50:26):
All right, I guess I'll help.

Speaker 4 (01:50:29):
Yeay if you're not dying.

Speaker 1 (01:50:35):
And Greg just like comes back into the cabin and
I imagine it's like, you know, Greg was making smoothies
and made a horrible mess. I imagine these two have
made a horrible mess in the pilot's cabin.

Speaker 3 (01:50:47):
Now, yeah, I'm like stretched.

Speaker 1 (01:50:49):
Out and using his big toe and his like index
so to grab the Yeah yeah, yeah, what is happening
in here?

Speaker 2 (01:51:06):
I think to two clicks to the south too.

Speaker 3 (01:51:11):
We may be about two hours out of the way.

Speaker 1 (01:51:16):
Greg rushes over to the controls and says, what can
I use these? Or do you want to die?

Speaker 3 (01:51:25):
I take my foot off the controls, just put my
shoes back on.

Speaker 1 (01:51:33):
Greg's. Greg hops into the hops in of the pilot
seat immediately make says thank you, immediately the ship starts
to stabilize.

Speaker 3 (01:51:46):
All right, I'll go back to doing what I'm supposed
to be doing, and now we'll get on the navigation again.
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:51:53):
I have to go give ru something.

Speaker 3 (01:51:56):
Mm hmm okay, I was thinking about getting you a
new blenda.

Speaker 5 (01:52:13):
Oh oh, look, hey, I want to sleep, don't I
been on the run for weeks?

Speaker 1 (01:52:22):
I just wrestling.

Speaker 3 (01:52:25):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:52:25):
Can I fixed your stuff?

Speaker 5 (01:52:27):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:52:31):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:52:33):
Should I just lay it here?

Speaker 5 (01:52:37):
Can you help me put it on? I'm so sticky
for some reason.

Speaker 2 (01:52:42):
Oh oh, what has happened to you?

Speaker 5 (01:52:47):
I don't know. Everything burns? Why is it burning?

Speaker 2 (01:52:52):
Do we have we have showers or like a bath
all the ship? Right, yeah, let's let's go to the
to the bath. You must wash this all off.

Speaker 5 (01:53:03):
Oh okay, we go to the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (01:53:11):
Rue gets launched into the shower.

Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
It'll just stand on the outside holding her clothes out
like this.

Speaker 5 (01:53:19):
You see a hand just stick out of the bathroom
door after a while.

Speaker 1 (01:53:24):
Like Pope's iris in the eye.

Speaker 2 (01:53:26):
Fuck here you are?

Speaker 5 (01:53:29):
No, you're okay. Thanks. The door closes and you hear
zipping and stretching and leather sounds. Yes, oh, I.

Speaker 2 (01:53:44):
Gave him your specifications. I hope they're correct.

Speaker 5 (01:53:52):
Oh shit, you look had.

Speaker 1 (01:53:58):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:54:00):
It's a very stretchy Oh my goodness makes pleathor sounds
as I like bend over. I am. I really appreciate it.
Of course.

Speaker 2 (01:54:19):
Does it fit properly?

Speaker 5 (01:54:22):
Mm hmm yeah, I think so. Everyone knows that anyway. Yeah,
m I'm too gay for this.

Speaker 2 (01:54:51):
Yes, well I thought that that's up that.

Speaker 5 (01:54:53):
Let's read the show everyone. Okay, I take face. I'm
reach reached through the meta through the screen and I
grabbed face hand. I grab Iris's hand.

Speaker 2 (01:55:10):
Perfect, I'll lead us upstairs.

Speaker 1 (01:55:16):
Okay, Uh, you heading back to the pilot cabin. Are
you just heading back to the sort of living area?

Speaker 5 (01:55:27):
Living area? Why was everyone screaming.

Speaker 2 (01:55:34):
Because the controls were left unmanned? Oh, I'm not saying
it's your fault. I mean Greg should have probably just
I mean he would die too. He probably should have helped.

Speaker 5 (01:55:47):
But oh do they need help up the controls?

Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
I think they're okay now, But if if you want
to show them you're off and you can, I'll.

Speaker 5 (01:56:01):
See if I can help.

Speaker 4 (01:56:04):
A circle.

Speaker 5 (01:56:07):
I go into the control room. Yay, Uh, is everything
all right in here?

Speaker 3 (01:56:19):
You look like a phantasmic anomaly.

Speaker 5 (01:56:24):
Thank you. It was the armor that we got.

Speaker 3 (01:56:32):
Fits you well.

Speaker 4 (01:56:36):
Thanks, So I agreed that I can still keep damaging
armor right, yes, okay, but not too much. Okay, tiny
rivulative bow like a droplets start to come from the

(01:56:58):
general direction that the bar room was and coalesces with
both like after it was washed off. Oh, welcome back.

Speaker 3 (01:57:11):
Now on course?

Speaker 5 (01:57:13):
Please say yes?

Speaker 1 (01:57:15):
So it's up to you where like you want to
direct the ship? Are you flying over cities? You flying?
Because originally you had said that you wanted to potentially
go like a certain way. I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (01:57:34):
I believe we're just going to go straight because we
have with the impresses, Like I'm pretty sure she would
have notified. I mean maybe she wouldn't. I don't know
what does she have notified since oars that we that
she has potential business. Let's find out, okay, because if not,

(01:57:57):
I guess we'll have to take the long way around.

Speaker 4 (01:58:00):
Are we allowed to just fly of a centauris?

Speaker 3 (01:58:02):
Yeah, that's what I am.

Speaker 1 (01:58:05):
If she alerted them in the documentation that you have,
you would see that typically you want to avoid like
flying over major cities whenever you're entering like a new country.
If you are stopping in that country, it is required

(01:58:27):
of you to get some kind of visa basically to
do that at the basically the nearest city that you
can stop in. If you are not stopping in a city,
is not required of you to get a visa. But
you kind of are flying at your own peril, like
any monsters or anything that might be flying or whatever,

(01:58:48):
that's on you to take care of. Otherwise, it's recommended
that you stay near the coasts.

Speaker 3 (01:58:56):
Okay, then if that's the case, we'll have to go here.

Speaker 1 (01:59:02):
Here, and then where's the location at your recommendation? Uh,
you asked early about the towers. The tower that you
saw in Cintharis was located near the northern coast up here.

Speaker 3 (01:59:17):
Oh okay, then we're gonna let me write on this.

Speaker 2 (01:59:20):
Yeah, we definitely want to try to get a view
of it, if possible from from these The.

Speaker 1 (01:59:24):
Only reason, yeah, it's it's like up here. The only
reason I'm bringing it up because as you asked about
it earlier.

Speaker 3 (01:59:29):
Oh, yes, thank you, And I guess we'll go here
and we'll go there eventually. That'll be our route. Okay,
I think that's where sure, I already said it.

Speaker 1 (01:59:40):
Was sure course correction. Uh, probably going to take you
about an hour or so to kind of like get
back on course to reach above the tower. It will
be like nighttime and somebody can make a roll for me.
We'll see like what what uh what kind of brightness

(02:00:02):
you're dealing with because there is a moon for this
for this world.

Speaker 3 (02:00:08):
So I will.

Speaker 1 (02:00:09):
I guess you can roll me a D six to
a decent one.

Speaker 4 (02:00:14):
They used to be two. Actually is the faliby.

Speaker 3 (02:00:19):
Someone else wants to make the wrong earlier one.

Speaker 1 (02:00:23):
I'll do it, okay, four yeah, so decent amount of brightness.
It's not quite a full moon, but maybe three quarters
And uh, I will anybody that is trying to keep
an eye out for the tower, we can have to

(02:00:44):
be part of a group roll up to you, so
be insight. Insight, and what is difficulty because it's three
quarters moon, I'm going to say it is probably a fourteen? Okay,

(02:01:05):
supporting difficulties always a.

Speaker 4 (02:01:06):
Ten mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (02:01:10):
Yeah, MPCs can't support checks. Oh, I think we need
to drag ourselves onto the.

Speaker 1 (02:01:17):
Map I got you hold on.

Speaker 3 (02:01:20):
I think it's the body token.

Speaker 1 (02:01:23):
I have secret hidden tokens that I won't have.

Speaker 5 (02:01:29):
Secret token.

Speaker 1 (02:01:31):
Should be able to see yourselves. You're still in that
like Malfax area. I'll just have you over there right now.

Speaker 5 (02:01:38):
Oh, I see it's me. I take up four blocks.

Speaker 3 (02:01:46):
Wait.

Speaker 5 (02:01:50):
Oh geez verled An eight waiting.

Speaker 4 (02:01:53):
I can help with seeing things.

Speaker 3 (02:01:54):
So oh.

Speaker 5 (02:01:58):
I don't see you're here. I can see you.

Speaker 3 (02:02:02):
Yeah, I can see me.

Speaker 4 (02:02:04):
I can only see myself.

Speaker 2 (02:02:05):
Yeah, I can only see myself.

Speaker 1 (02:02:07):
To click off of the party token.

Speaker 2 (02:02:09):
Ah, that's probably why.

Speaker 5 (02:02:12):
Andrews has no head.

Speaker 3 (02:02:13):
Oh there I am Oh my god? Yah, who has what? Iris?

Speaker 1 (02:02:26):
Okay for you all you iris?

Speaker 4 (02:02:32):
Nice, let's go.

Speaker 1 (02:02:35):
It's pretty hard to like find this tower. You're able
to like barely spot it, and that's primarily just because
it's illuminated. There are different areas of the marshes below
that are illuminated, which makes it tricky to kind of locate,
but easier than if it was pitch black. So Iris,

(02:02:58):
you can see the From what you can tell, the
tower appears to be still emanating some sort of pulse.
It looks like it's still functioning from what you can tell.
Beyond any like specific details or anything.

Speaker 2 (02:03:15):
You don't know too far anyway. Yeah, now it looks
like this one is functioning.

Speaker 5 (02:03:21):
Fine, we're close to where we spawned in this world.
Aren't we near that tower?

Speaker 2 (02:03:35):
Right?

Speaker 1 (02:03:38):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (02:03:39):
All right, whack.

Speaker 4 (02:03:40):
I don't see the boat anymore on the map. Is
that intentional?

Speaker 3 (02:03:44):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (02:03:46):
Okay, you have different so you have technically the fog
of war. The way that it works is each token
has its own history, so you need to click on
the party token you want to party view. So we're here.

Speaker 4 (02:04:10):
Mm hmmm, I can't even see the party token either.

Speaker 2 (02:04:18):
No, it's not there for us.

Speaker 1 (02:04:20):
You need to click off of your other token first.

Speaker 3 (02:04:23):
I have Yeah, wait, what are we were trying to
move into the tower? Is that what we're trying to do?

Speaker 1 (02:04:32):
I think they're just trying to see their view of
what you where you've traveled with the party token?

Speaker 3 (02:04:37):
Oh okay, yeah, it's right there.

Speaker 2 (02:04:41):
Yeah, yeah, we just don't have it on our map.

Speaker 3 (02:04:43):
Oh I know, I'm just like locat me.

Speaker 1 (02:04:45):
Just hide your other there we go, Thank.

Speaker 3 (02:04:48):
You, thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:04:49):
Oh now I see the party token against.

Speaker 1 (02:04:50):
Little trick here tricks the towers right below where you
are right now?

Speaker 8 (02:04:55):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:04:56):
Oh okay, okay, mm hmm okay, you see this hower?

Speaker 2 (02:05:08):
Yeah, it's functioning properly is what I said.

Speaker 3 (02:05:11):
Oh it's lit. Okay, Wait is it.

Speaker 1 (02:05:16):
Seems to be emanating a pulse?

Speaker 5 (02:05:19):
Does there appear to be any kind of guards or
any kind of force around course of people around?

Speaker 1 (02:05:26):
Yeah, so hard to say. I mean you're pretty high up.
But last you remember there were people that like ran
the tower that were operating at mhm.

Speaker 3 (02:05:37):
Man, I really want to determine what kind of It's interesting.
So they're using mbstone to contain magical energy to emberstone
is not essentially magic. Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (02:05:56):
Do we want to go investigate.

Speaker 3 (02:05:59):
The tower?

Speaker 5 (02:06:00):
Well, I don't think we're technically supposed to or allowed to,
but we are here.

Speaker 3 (02:06:10):
As much as I want to do that, I believe
we're going to be breaking the law of every region,
not just this region. If something goes wrong, that's.

Speaker 2 (02:06:20):
Only if we get caught, which we will most certainly
get caught.

Speaker 12 (02:06:29):
Let me just put one thing into rogue and yep,
believe we need to gather more information, all right, I'll.

Speaker 5 (02:06:40):
Trust your meat on this.

Speaker 2 (02:06:42):
We are going to have to go through the border
to get into sin forests once we're done getting some
information in the Allen Draft village. Yeah, yeah, so I
mean if we do want to circle back, we can.

Speaker 3 (02:06:55):
I also am very curious about what your queen believes
their stance on the tower in general, they didn't like
Emberstone at all, and they're about natural ways of life,
then that is an eyesore and they probably know that

(02:07:19):
more information about what the mails from it's going out
of whack than those who put that tower. Probably, all right,
whenever you're ready, let me know.

Speaker 1 (02:07:43):
Okay, so you are moving on, yes.

Speaker 3 (02:07:50):
Okay, we're gonna you know, flying in between points should
be fine, right, so we do. We'll stick by the
water and go here and then we can go straight
to there.

Speaker 1 (02:08:11):
Okay, you are flying over the mountains now, and it
is uh kind of the middle of the night. This
is probably putting you at about midnight, and I will

(02:08:35):
take another travel roll. This will be a deten.

Speaker 3 (02:08:40):
Oh I'm guessing low is good, correct, bo? Why don't
you do it? Everyone else has rolled?

Speaker 4 (02:08:48):
Go for it, Okay, as long as it's just ruling
and there's nothing to do with it because you're asking
somebody you can't really see at all to the travel
roll like, okay, using the Pazzi Maco or using mountains
just a flat D ten, right, okay, slash roll one

(02:09:10):
detail one wow.

Speaker 1 (02:09:15):
Okay, so another discovery. Hm hmm.

Speaker 3 (02:09:21):
Those mountains are like boobs.

Speaker 4 (02:09:23):
So o ho the use the Booby Mountains discovery.

Speaker 1 (02:09:29):
Along the way, I think what we will say happens
is you can probably see that there are a few
towns or villages below, nothing like any major cities. With
the route that you've chosen along the mountains, you can

(02:09:57):
see that there are h a lot of ruins. It
appears that there were several locations of previous battlefields that
must have taken place during the war, and I imagine

(02:10:19):
that you kind of you fly overhead of a bunch
of those, and you can see there were either facilities
or there were some pretty epic battles that took place
in the mountains. You can see signs of them from

(02:10:39):
this high up. There's probably, like I imagine, just like
ruined towns, No major cities that appear to be ruined,
but like border towns and cities that look like they're
just like ghost towns now like they're just kind of destroyed.

(02:11:00):
They're just absolutely ruined. Below you. This mountain region seems
to be like it seems to have been like a
major battleground from Cyntharis and Allen Drath. There's evidence of,
like like some environmental damage. There's evidence of towns being destroyed.

(02:11:26):
There's evidence of I think you can see probably like
some emberstone facilities that are obliterated along the way.

Speaker 5 (02:11:39):
Hi, emberstone facilities? Do you mean like stores?

Speaker 1 (02:11:44):
I imagine mid gar esque pipes and shit kind of
about that have just kind of been wrecked and destroyed
of varying types. Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (02:12:07):
This is a lot taken. A lot of terrible things
happened here. Do we know if this is where the
brunt of it was.

Speaker 4 (02:12:23):
Of the war?

Speaker 2 (02:12:27):
I was a major war friend. I'm sure judging by
what we're seeing, perhaps there were smaller skirmish skirmishes elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (02:12:37):
Us.

Speaker 4 (02:12:38):
Sorry, yeah, do you have any memory of the war
enders before we all grouped together?

Speaker 3 (02:12:50):
Mmm? I need a big a role. You do not.

Speaker 1 (02:13:07):
I have a message to you.

Speaker 3 (02:13:10):
Oh mm hmmm, No, I cannot recall.

Speaker 4 (02:13:24):
M hmm, okay, mm hm.

Speaker 1 (02:13:39):
No.

Speaker 3 (02:13:39):
We have to look for a dock. I don't know
if we have to travel to where we need to
go to your town or if they have docking there,
which I'm assuming not. It's in the middle of a
saying it's a.

Speaker 2 (02:13:55):
Small place to I don't know, maybe Greg does, Greg?

Speaker 3 (02:14:08):
Do we need to dalk around here and travel to here?

Speaker 1 (02:14:19):
We just have to find the border town. If we're
headed to Felisia. It was at the base of the mountains.
I think further south.

Speaker 3 (02:14:32):
I'm just looking at him point and make all that noise,
and I'm just like, okay, believe and I'll just look
where his fingers stopped. Live. We need to go a
bit more south or maybe around here. Maybe there's a
border town along the way. We'll see when we travel over, right,

(02:15:00):
Everyone ready, ready? Yeah, Greg, trusting you on this one.
I guess we'll just keep going south, find the border town.
We'll just fly. Yeah, we'll go slowly.

Speaker 5 (02:15:19):
At one point during our the final leg of our
trip here, I'll come into the navigation room and I'll
have made a smoothie, and I offer it to Greg. Hey,
just a little token of apology for earlier.

Speaker 3 (02:15:41):
And.

Speaker 1 (02:15:43):
Happily grabs the smoothie. I hope you like it, holds
it up to you like a cheers, and starts sipping
at it. What did you make him? What did you
try to make him? And then then let's do a roll.

Speaker 5 (02:16:10):
I try to make him a mimosa. Wow, a mimosa smoothie.

Speaker 1 (02:16:16):
Okay, let's see if you could do it. I imagine
this is gonna be insight in dexterity and open check.

Speaker 5 (02:16:26):
I'm sorry if I kill him.

Speaker 3 (02:16:29):
What yep? Yeah, halfway yep.

Speaker 1 (02:16:33):
You grab some stuff that looked like orange juice, and
you grab some stuff that kind of looked like champagne.
It's really not a lot too a mimosa. It's just
champagne an orange juice. But the things that are on
regalia aren't necessarily directly related to the same fruits and

(02:16:59):
beverages that you would find on Earth.

Speaker 5 (02:17:03):
Yeah, the champagne's actually cooking oil.

Speaker 1 (02:17:06):
Yeah. Craig starts happily sipping at it. He just starts
like gagging.

Speaker 5 (02:17:18):
Are you okay? Any I take the smoothie from him
and I take a sip.

Speaker 1 (02:17:25):
Yeah. Oh God, it's it's not right. It's not right.

Speaker 4 (02:17:31):
What's the matter.

Speaker 1 (02:17:35):
Ruby begins wretching, Oh are you okay?

Speaker 3 (02:17:40):
God?

Speaker 4 (02:17:43):
Are you going to finish that?

Speaker 5 (02:17:45):
I just hold it out.

Speaker 2 (02:17:48):
To you.

Speaker 4 (02:17:51):
She's empty it on me.

Speaker 5 (02:17:54):
I dump it onto bow. I have good news.

Speaker 2 (02:18:00):
M I think I recognize these mountains here. If we
just go a little bit more east into the south
a little bit, we should be should be there.

Speaker 3 (02:18:12):
I think, well, okay, I relate to Greg, and I
guess this is where you want to go.

Speaker 1 (02:18:24):
Okay, at Iris's direction. More into the night you continue
and down below. Uh, there's just a little bit of light.

(02:18:45):
It's really not that much. It's probably close to like
two three am. At this point, you're all probably guessed
the fuck out. In fact, let's do a group now,
let's not do a group check. Let's do individual will
open checks. Uh, and this will be might might.

Speaker 5 (02:19:04):
M h oh no.

Speaker 3 (02:19:09):
Night five.

Speaker 2 (02:19:11):
Simon m hmm.

Speaker 1 (02:19:18):
Fourteen A fourteen A Iris and Rue. You are really
gassed out. Rue is like you know, it's that you're
at the point where you're like barely keeping your head up.

Speaker 5 (02:19:32):
I fall asleep standing up at one point.

Speaker 3 (02:19:38):
Should have looked at the twin peaks. That's why we awake.
Mm hmmm, mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (02:19:47):
And Greg speaks up and says, how about are we
gonna land?

Speaker 4 (02:19:56):
Is there a doc?

Speaker 1 (02:19:58):
I don't think there's a dog here. We'll probably have
to land outside of town.

Speaker 4 (02:20:02):
It's like a big tree or something.

Speaker 1 (02:20:05):
There's lots of big trees.

Speaker 3 (02:20:06):
Just look, hey, we don't talk on the tree.

Speaker 2 (02:20:12):
No, probably a clearing nearbyrn to the water.

Speaker 3 (02:20:15):
Yeah, like right here or here, we don't have to travel,
I say, probably closer right here.

Speaker 1 (02:20:25):
It's really.

Speaker 3 (02:20:30):
They can't keep it airborne, that's for sure, right yeah,
all right, so we'll go here. I believe that's the
best clearing that's close by. It's by the water.

Speaker 1 (02:20:40):
Too, so okay, I'll start taking us down.

Speaker 3 (02:20:47):
Is there anchor or something that we have it's airship.

Speaker 1 (02:20:51):
Well we just start to and and Greg is saying
this and it's all complicated. He's, you know, bo has
to translate everything.

Speaker 3 (02:20:58):
Yeah, I'm just I'm just applying with Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:21:01):
Greg is like, well, he starts going into like technical explanations. Well,
we have to change the basically the air pressure inside
of the.

Speaker 4 (02:21:13):
The basically he's doing the what nots, and then they
has to remove the ballast ballast. Then he has to
like the ballast of what he said, what's in the
battlet water air in an in in a in an airship.

Speaker 3 (02:21:30):
Yes, in the m that's horrible. Okay, but are they sales.

Speaker 1 (02:21:39):
I imagine probably that there are sales as well as
like balloons. There's balloons and sales basically.

Speaker 3 (02:21:49):
Ill, Yeah, I'll point to the turned some down blown away.

Speaker 4 (02:21:56):
Should we batton down the hatches? Captain?

Speaker 1 (02:22:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:22:01):
Sure, I don't know what that means, because can somebody
pat in the hatches please?

Speaker 1 (02:22:09):
He's just giving you guys jobs to like go run
around and leave him alone. How he tries to land
the fucking ship. It was like, can I help, Can
I help?

Speaker 9 (02:22:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:22:17):
Yeah, just fucking go back there and go yeah, and uh,
Greg will start to bring the ship down. The scenery
here is very different than what you have experienced thus far.

(02:22:40):
First and foremost, it is rich in foliage. There's lots
of trees. You're near the mountains, but there's a lot
of greenery here, and to be honest, you really haven't
seen a lot of that aside from the marshes in
cin Forest. Lots of greenery, and it's very are here.

(02:23:00):
There's a few lights here and there, but overall it's
pretty dark, but you can see like a lot of trees,
and there's probably some lights underneath the airship that Greg
is using to help judge where the ground is. As
you begin to descend, and after maybe ten fifteen minutes,

(02:23:21):
the ship begins to reach the ground, and there's probably
like a little bit of a jostling that happens as
you land. Rou is kind of annoyingly woken up, and

(02:23:44):
the ship slides like a little bit on the ground.
And in fact there is like an anchor that Greg
drops after you land, and Greg says another landing to
walk away from.

Speaker 3 (02:24:03):
I'll pat them, I'll get up. I believe right here.

Speaker 2 (02:24:11):
Are we?

Speaker 3 (02:24:14):
And I'll grab Iris and bring into the railing and
ain't down? Does it look familiar?

Speaker 2 (02:24:25):
I like try to focus through kind of the darkness
of the night to see if this is familiar to me.

Speaker 1 (02:24:32):
Yeah, the ship has some lights, so you're able to
kind of see maybe fifty to one hundred feet out
and looks familiar Iris.

Speaker 2 (02:24:47):
Yeah, I think so if we continue down through the
trees over there, we should be able to reach the village.

Speaker 3 (02:24:56):
Okay, should we go?

Speaker 4 (02:25:00):
Now?

Speaker 3 (02:25:00):
Should we wait? You know the customs here?

Speaker 2 (02:25:03):
Well, I suppose it depends on if we want to
travel through the wits. I mean about how far are we?

Speaker 6 (02:25:10):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (02:25:10):
Maybe a mile out?

Speaker 4 (02:25:13):
I mean, what's the worst that could happen? It's a
starting zone, right, that's true.

Speaker 2 (02:25:21):
Well, if we do well, at least have somewhere comfortable
this day.

Speaker 5 (02:25:26):
Should we maybe leave our cloaks here?

Speaker 3 (02:25:31):
Who can do? Queen said he didn't keep it on.
I'm keeping it on. You can take it off, you like.

Speaker 5 (02:25:38):
Did she's explicitly say that we have to keep it on.
She did say that we represent her. If we're not
wearing them, then are we representing her?

Speaker 3 (02:25:50):
Hmm?

Speaker 4 (02:25:51):
If I recall and she's a lot of fire, yeah,
maybe you could just put it in your mentor until
you need to use it.

Speaker 3 (02:26:03):
Grue and I walk around rude and I look her
up and down.

Speaker 5 (02:26:09):
Well, I stand up straight.

Speaker 3 (02:26:13):
She said to wear it, but she didn't say how
to wear it. And I and I just love an eyebrow,
the creative, okay, M.

Speaker 5 (02:26:36):
I take the cloak off and I put it in
my inventory.

Speaker 2 (02:26:42):
Okay, before we head out, I'd like to have the
crystal on my staff light up. I don't know if
you want that to be a ritual or if you
want it to just be my lux spell.

Speaker 1 (02:26:52):
I think it's fine to just kind of immediately light
up the area around you.

Speaker 2 (02:26:57):
Okay, Okay, well we should at least have some vision.
Do you have everything you guys need? M?

Speaker 4 (02:27:13):
I traveled lights, so I think I'm okay.

Speaker 5 (02:27:17):
I have a question, and I'll lean into Iris's ear
and whisper and I'll ask, do you think it's possible
that our cloaks are enchanted and there might be some
way that the Empress is keeping tabs on us?

Speaker 2 (02:27:39):
Oh? That is a great question.

Speaker 5 (02:27:49):
M Anders.

Speaker 2 (02:27:52):
You said you were good with mana and I've seen it.
Are you able to sense anything? What would you like
for me to try.

Speaker 3 (02:28:00):
I'll close my eyes and I'll just notice the giant,
large lump of manna behind the Empress as she's sitting
on her throne. What do you want to know?

Speaker 2 (02:28:13):
Well, the cloaks?

Speaker 4 (02:28:17):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (02:28:18):
Actually, was that Ru trying to be quiet about it?
Not to tell Enders? I'm so sorry.

Speaker 5 (02:28:28):
No, it's okay. If you look like you want to
talk to Enders, Rue will just kind of like suggest
like maybe we should whisper. Maybe you know, if we are,
they might hear through the cloak or something.

Speaker 2 (02:28:42):
Okay, but not specifically like him, just in general.

Speaker 5 (02:28:45):
Yeah, go ahead, and yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:28:48):
Do you sense anything around here? And I point towards
Ruth's cloak.

Speaker 5 (02:28:55):
Yeah, I take it out meekly, just hold it up.

Speaker 3 (02:29:01):
I'll be talking as I am. I'm placing my hand
on it. Empress is a lot smarter. We can give
our credit. I don't believe she'll just trust us off
the off the mock. If they want me to do
a ritual, I'll do original.

Speaker 1 (02:29:16):
Okay, yep, so this will be. This will be.

Speaker 5 (02:29:26):
If I was the Empress, I'd keep tabs on these people.

Speaker 3 (02:29:29):
Bro. I am one feeling like the Empress knows if
you fuck copy yeah specifically said wear that shit.

Speaker 1 (02:29:37):
Yeah, so this will count as an individual area. So
multipliers one, multipliers one. Yeah, I'm going to say that
this is this is probably medium as well. This is
kind of the same thing almost that you're doing that
you did before. So thirty nine points and ten difficulties

(02:30:03):
and that is going to be insight and well power
Jesus difficulty.

Speaker 5 (02:30:08):
We can help with this anyways, How would you help
a little shoulder massage?

Speaker 1 (02:30:21):
Well, moral support it.

Speaker 2 (02:30:25):
If it's going to make you sick or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (02:30:28):
I do also have ritualism.

Speaker 2 (02:30:29):
It's just a matter of whether or not you'd like
to guide me through it, or if you'd like me
to assist you.

Speaker 3 (02:30:37):
Any I'm sitting at thirty two man, so I can
do it, but I am going to have I'm going
to be a grumpy grump. Well, I can't meet grumpy.

Speaker 1 (02:30:47):
Unfortunately, you haven't been able to get a rest on
the ship. You've all kind of been staying awake and
keeping an eye out.

Speaker 3 (02:30:54):
I'm going to be very less talkative, a lot less talkative.

Speaker 2 (02:31:01):
Well, if you're going to do it instead of having
me and you talking through me, since I have more mana,
I will basically try to help and amplify, uh, whatever
it is he is doing, utilizing my magical energies and
channeling them into him.

Speaker 3 (02:31:17):
Okay, I can. I mean, if you want to do it,
I can guide you. It doesn't matter, so.

Speaker 5 (02:31:21):
We'll play wise.

Speaker 2 (02:31:22):
I was just given it to you because that was
your thing. But like it's up to you if you
want to use the mana.

Speaker 3 (02:31:28):
No, I'd rather than not have a headache. So if
you you can seem interested to learn how to do it,
then I'll just talk me through it. I'll just face
I'll just place my hand on the back of your
hand in and then trace a rouine.

Speaker 1 (02:31:44):
Okay, so Iris, you will do start a group check
and you'll spend the mind points and the difficulty is
going to be ten and enders can participate, and.

Speaker 3 (02:31:56):
I'll just say, just like learn that amoult of acarum.

Speaker 2 (02:32:01):
This was not my strong suit.

Speaker 5 (02:32:04):
I'll try with this.

Speaker 2 (02:32:07):
Okay, inside power and what is the difficulty?

Speaker 3 (02:32:14):
Multipliers one ritual?

Speaker 1 (02:32:16):
Unless it's just a multipliers for how much man it costs?
Oh well, the base man is thirty. Like if you're
doing it, like if you're trying to sense the tech
magic over a very large area that gets multiplied.

Speaker 3 (02:32:30):
Oh say, okay, here we go? What home an PC again?

Speaker 2 (02:32:37):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:32:38):
Yeah, sorry, well that's fine.

Speaker 4 (02:32:43):
Let me do this.

Speaker 1 (02:32:48):
There you are and there's iris.

Speaker 3 (02:32:51):
Okay, wait did you put it somewhere else?

Speaker 1 (02:32:57):
You're yeah, your your tokens are still back there. I
don't want to move them to click in the fog
of war. Yeah yeah, well you have to click off first.
It's the piece.

Speaker 3 (02:33:08):
There we go, got it all right? Oh dear, no.

Speaker 1 (02:33:18):
Help unfortunately, just barely.

Speaker 3 (02:33:21):
Man.

Speaker 2 (02:33:22):
Oh my gosh, that's been a whole episode.

Speaker 1 (02:33:24):
Yep, iris uh they're definitely enchanted. Absolutely good call. That's
why I was like, okay, yes, it definitely sense magic
from him. There's definitely like some kind of location spell
on there. There's probably like a, you got a success.

(02:33:53):
I'm gonna say there's a location spell and there's another
spell on there, and it takes you a little while
to figure out what it is, but you think it's
some kind of death notification, like if somebody dies wearing
that cloak, dam personal know about it, the body will burn.

Speaker 3 (02:34:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:34:16):
For now, I'm just going to nod in case there
is anything else that has her listening to us.

Speaker 5 (02:34:24):
Picking up on Iris's expression, I just put the cloak
back on.

Speaker 11 (02:34:30):
So shouldn't say where you can wear it or how
you can wear it. You can wear it inside out
so you can wrap it.

Speaker 3 (02:34:42):
Around your leg however you want to stil it hmm,
I mean you can even hide it. And then I
shut up because I feel like Ruth's rubbing off on
me a bit, and I correct myself and straighten my cloak.

Speaker 5 (02:35:01):
I tie it around my waist as a like a
little skirt.

Speaker 2 (02:35:08):
All right, are you ready to go?

Speaker 3 (02:35:12):
Mm?

Speaker 5 (02:35:12):
Hm yeah, I think we should follow your lead.

Speaker 2 (02:35:15):
Iris, don't seemed my best. I think it should be
through there.

Speaker 3 (02:35:23):
I'll stop and turn. I'll kind of grab everyone and
turn towards Greg and like you're coming, am, I you're
a part of the team, right.

Speaker 1 (02:35:38):
Okay, everyone, let's just make sure to lock up the ship.

Speaker 3 (02:35:42):
Mm hmmm, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:35:45):
Maybe somebody should stay behind and look off for the ship.
That's a joke.

Speaker 3 (02:35:52):
Oh, don't forget curious.

Speaker 5 (02:35:55):
You've got you've got guns.

Speaker 1 (02:35:58):
Yeah, Greg immediately like hawks hawks them up and like
he's got two guns one any chand yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:36:07):
He looks sick.

Speaker 3 (02:36:09):
He was. Okay, I'm thinking around my.

Speaker 1 (02:36:13):
Oh my god, with the guns. I clap.

Speaker 2 (02:36:23):
Let's go, well all right, and I'll take my staff
lit up and eat the way.

Speaker 1 (02:36:31):
As you disembark from the airship, you'll all kind of
notice that Iris is moving very easily in the night
through this area that you have never been to. She's

(02:36:51):
leading the way very confidently. After traveling for a little bit,
you come across a small cabin in the distance. You
can see what appears to be a town. Up ahead

(02:37:11):
is a small cabin.

Speaker 3 (02:37:15):
There is lyth.

Speaker 1 (02:37:16):
You recognize this cabin.

Speaker 3 (02:37:22):
That's it?

Speaker 4 (02:37:25):
Well, what's it the cabin?

Speaker 2 (02:37:27):
That's that's where that's where I started Level one.

Speaker 5 (02:37:34):
Hmmm.

Speaker 4 (02:37:34):
Who's inside?

Speaker 5 (02:37:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:37:38):
If I am remembering correctly, then that's my home and
that's my grandmother. Maybe are the lights on inside.

Speaker 1 (02:37:47):
It's probably three or four am I imagine there's no
light on.

Speaker 4 (02:37:53):
Wait, Iris, m what color is your cloak?

Speaker 2 (02:37:59):
Mike cloak?

Speaker 5 (02:38:00):
I don't have one?

Speaker 2 (02:38:03):
Right, it was on purpose that she didn't give me one, remember.

Speaker 4 (02:38:08):
Okay, all right, never mind, just you know, cabins and
woods and stuff like that. Grandma's Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:38:19):
Oh you were referring referring to red Riding Hood mm
hm oh No, my grandmother's great.

Speaker 5 (02:38:28):
She owned it over to enders, and I say, little
Red Riding Hood is a children's story where we're from.

Speaker 3 (02:38:35):
Oh, she was riding a hood?

Speaker 2 (02:38:43):
No, Well, if nobody of Jackson, I'm going to get
closer and knock on the door.

Speaker 1 (02:38:52):
Debscribe. What the cabin looks like? Please everybody? Iris?

Speaker 2 (02:38:56):
Oh goodness, okay, First of all, starting area home, it
probably would be a small one. Yeah, they wouldn't give
us like a luxurious one, I wouldn't think. So it's
a comfortable but very just welcoming and sort of tight

(02:39:20):
cabin like there's room for people, but not a lot
of room. The outside is it's a wooden cabin, but
it's got all sorts of flowers and moss and things
like that all over. It's either they're growing up it,
or they're growing towards the entrance of it. It's very
well kept. In the night, it's kind of hard to

(02:39:45):
see the coloration of any of the flowers and what
have you, but it looks very welcoming and very comfortable.
It's got a thatched roof, very just you know, pick
a pick whatever you can up to build this thing.
But it still looks sturdy like it was well made
with lots of love by someone or multiple someone's. And

(02:40:09):
the front door, of course, is big and round, the
big round door. But you would notice on that door
that there is a no window, and b that there's
some sort of creepy like weird skull charm hanging off

(02:40:35):
of the door knob, like ritualistic stuff. The whole place
looks really really sweet, But then if you look closely,
you'd see that.

Speaker 4 (02:40:51):
Charming cute, isn't it?

Speaker 3 (02:40:56):
Is it a human size skull.

Speaker 2 (02:40:59):
No, it's it's are obviously like an animal.

Speaker 7 (02:41:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:41:04):
M hm, So if nobody stops me, I'm gonna knock
mm hmmmmm.

Speaker 5 (02:41:14):
Grandmother, you.

Speaker 1 (02:41:24):
Hear something like shuffle inside. M I'm on knocking out
of my door. Oh, your grandmother, you hear some shuffling.

(02:41:47):
Like less than a minute later, the door opens very
slowly and like you can see someone peering from beyond
through the crack in the door. Who's knocking on my
door at night?

Speaker 2 (02:42:05):
I'll move my staff closer to my face the middle
of the night. I'm so sorry to bother you.

Speaker 1 (02:42:17):
There's a look of recognition on her face through the door. Yes, grandmater.
Door swings open, and a Ristless's grandmother hugs her name.

Speaker 6 (02:42:37):
No, Ima, give me di, I get to eat the
I know your animal.

Speaker 1 (02:43:01):
